Ayo can we get a hot ass "keep my wife's name out your goddamn mouth" Kathy x John
Kathy does routine physical exams obviously and in the showers Price overhears some locker room talking about his wife, how they'd like those hands to go further, like how she bosses them around etc.
Cue him rounding the corner to give them a solid punch and "Don't you dare utter my wife's name again"
Up to you if she rewards him ☺️
yes you fucking can!!!!
That's My Wife!
pairing: F!OC: Kathleen "Brass" Moore x John Price words: 1.5K~ cw: jealousy, protectiveness, arguments, violence, injuries (mentioned), misogyny, sexually-charged comments, "locker room talk", smutless smut.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The worst time of the year for the army medical staff at Tidworth is September. Oh, how the nurses and doctors hate the month of September during which, for two weeks straight, they see nothing but soldier after soldier for health checks and physical exams to confirm that they’re fit for service.
It’s, unfortunately, repetitive, mind-numbing and time-consuming. It’s also, unfortunately, a whole hands on deck situation. So, everyone who’s not actively doing something else, gets called in to help process the soldiers.
That’s how Kathleen ends up, every year, in the clinic, helping physicians assess the soldiers. Her jobs tend to be easy. More of the same that she tends to already do: measuring heights and weights, calculating their BMI and body fat percentages, using the stethoscope to listen to their heartbeat and breathing, manning the blood pressure gauge…
And, of course, the most interesting stuff. Conducting stress tests and having to strap all sorts of machines and sensors to the soldiers and monitor how they perform as they run on a treadmill, as well as doing physical checks on old injuries, scars…
In short, she spends a long time in front of shirtless men… and even longer touching their chests, arms, backs, and sometimes their legs, to check for injuries, which often ends with her crouching or kneeling at their feet.
And, of course, the stupid soldiers can’t keep their mouths shut. More often than not they make a few remarks about taking her out later, about coming to see her more often, of being lucky they get her for their checks…
It’s a nightmare. Kathleen hates it. In fact, she wishes she wasn’t tasked with that every year… But the choice is her or risking one of the pretty new interns having to do it, girls who haven’t yet developed the thick skin she has, and would likely giggle and get flustered at the lads behaviour… instead of calling them out on it or just downright ignoring them.
September, as it turns out, is also a nightmare for John. But he only figured that out today.
After his Bravo team finished training for the morning, John allowed them to hit the showers and he stayed behind to finish some work and talk with Soap.
As they enter the locker room, the rest of Bravo team is already in the communal showers, talking loudly amidst themselves and laughing, their voices echoing amidst the spraying of the showers over them.
John pops open his locker and starts shedding his workout kit, tossing it into his bag on the shelf. Soap isn’t far from him, a few lockers up, in the adjacent wall, his locker door having his name ‘MACTAVISH’ inside the clear plastic name tag holder, with a post-it naming him ‘F.N.G’ scotch taped below it.
John doesn’t need to pay much attention to know they’re talking about women, especially, the nurses from the nearby Tidworth base. All of them had gone through their check-ups in the last couple of days and, as is typical, they couldn’t keep their traps shut about the pretty women with soft hands doting all over them.
“Oh, mine bent over and pushed those tits of hers right up to my knee.” One of them said.
“Lucky bastard. I got a bloke.” Another replied.
Oh, how many times John had told them to be quiet and keep those sorts of talks to themselves when they were at the barracks, and not in public… But did those knobheads listen? No, never.
John grabbed his towel and 2-in-1 shampoo and bodywash and headed into the showers, taking up one of the vacant spots and drawing the curtain after hanging the curtain just outside his stall.
“I swear she was giving me the look… Definitely wants a piece of me.”
“No bird would want a piece of yer ugly mug.”
The lads continued talking as he let the water run over his body and began quickly lathering himself up with his 2-in-1, washing his hair and face aggressively before running his head under the falling shower water.
“I’m not devout, but this new batch’a nurses they got this year makes me a believer.”
“That’s right, brother.”
One-by-one they started vacating their stalls, still chatting loudly about their check-ups and the young women that treated them, lounging about the locker room and making each other laugh.
“But that arse of hers… I just know she’d bounce so well on my cock-”
“Oh that’s nothing. You didn’t see her last year before they changed the colour of the scrubs… That blue colour just… mmmmm…”
John finishes his shower not long after, wrapping his grey towel around his hip and tying it up to stay still. Then, he collects his 2-in-1 bottle from its perch atop the metal piping of the shower and starts making his way back.
That’s when he hears it:
“It’s no wonder the Captain’s peacockin’ himself around like that… I mean have you seen the size of her tits?”
John’s blood runs cold. They wouldn’t fucking dare. They wouldn’t talk about Kathleen.
No.
Not they.
Him.
Sergeant Ellis Evans.
One he’s always had problems reining in.
“Captain’s lucky is all I’ll say… Body like hers… Hell, even I’d forgive that bloody attitude of hers.”
The others laughed as Evans continued.
“I mean, I’m sure Kathleen’s mouth’s good for more than just talking… Gotta be good on her knees.. They call her ‘Brass’ for a reason, right? Bet she leaves ‘em with a nice polish and shine once she’s done.”
That did it.
John rounded the corner into the locker room and, abruptly, the room fell into silence, breaths hitching and the temperature dropping into an uncomfortable ice.
But John didn’t stop walking at the doorway… In fact, he beelined right for Evans.
“Captain, I-” Evans immediately tried backtracking. “We were just joking, we were just-”
“Keep my wife’s name out your bloody mouth.” John grits at him through clenched teeth before he throws a right cross to Evans’ face.
-
It’s just past 7P.M. when Kathleen comes in through the front door. John has made dinner for them and little Charlotte is already asleep in her crib by the time she does.
She sets her bag down in the entrance, takes off her shoes, and pads over to the kitchen in search of John.
“Hi…” She greets him softly as she approaches the table, causing him to swivel on his chair to greet her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
She presses a kiss to his mouth, which he returns. “Hi, Da’lin’.” He murmurs to her once they separate.
“Is she down?” She asks in a soft tone as she looks at him.
“Mhm… Full belly and empty diaper.” He tells her, which makes her smile softly, seeming relieved.
Kathleen feels exhausted, as usual, still not used to the work-life balance that comes from having a 4-month-old baby who doesn’t like to sleep + and a physically demanding job that runs on a 12-hour-shift schedule.
John swivels back to his previous position, nursing a glass of whiskey with his left hand, the right one resting on the table, the knuckles covered by a blue gel ice pack.
“So that’s what happened...” Kathleen muses as she glances at his iced hand, before backing away to grab herself a plate of food from the cupboard.
“What is?” John murmurs as he glances at her, watching her serve herself of some frozen lasagna and salad.
“One of your lads ended up in my emergency room after some ‘roughhousing gone wrong in the locker room’... I was musing about what he did all afternoon.” She quips as she pads over to the table again again.
“Hm.” John mutters quietly, seemingly a mix of embarassed and annoyed at that fact.
“So what did he do?” She asks as she takes a seat on his lap, perched on his lap, as she pops a cherry tomato in her mouth.
“Talked about you.” John murmurs, wrapping his free arm around her waist. “Only I get to say debauching things about My Wife.” He grumbles as he looks up into her eyes.
Kathleen rolls her eyes at him and shakes her head, but she can’t help the smirk that takes over her rudy lips as he calls her ‘his wife’. “My, Mr. Price, defending my honour, huh?” She jokes as she pops a bit of lettuce in her mouth.
“Defending my honour… and yours by proxy. Just an unforeseen consequence of it.” He tells her, trying to act nonchalant about the fact he broke a man’s nose, eyesocket and three of his ribs, for demeaning his wife.
“Right… Of course… How stupid of me…” Kathleen teases as she leans toward him, pressing a soft kiss to his lips, which makes his blue eyes close, a smile taking over his features.
“As opposed to… what exactly? There isn’t much up there other than thoughts of my cock, da’lin’.” John remarks, causing her to roll her eyes, annoyed, and flick his head away from her by pushing his cheek, annoyed.
“I can very well just stop thinking about it all together… And I’m sure you wouldn’t want that when I was just about to reward you for defending me…” Kathleen teases as she pops another cherry tomato in her mouth, eyes locked on John and the way his pupils dilated, his cock already stirring awake in his joggers against her ass in her green scrubs.

We not only read CoA again and again but I personally think (very often) about that black scrub Clarke wears under that white coat on special occasions.
And I'm sure Lexa thinks about that too.
Ah. Dr. Clarke in her ~very serious professional~ mode 🥰
Every other day she's more likely to be found hightailing that (tight 😏) ass up and down the floor hallways in crazy colored scrubs, more likely than not looking like just another friendly nurse to the kiddos rather than the big, scary head of the department, and honestly, she likes it that way. She likes it when smiles at the little monkies on her scrubs or the lil penguins wearing scrub caps. She likes that they like her randbow badge holder and bright pink and purple stethoscope.
But when the black scrubs go on and the lab coat comes out everyone knows she is Dr. Griffin, not Dr. Clarke. And jesus mary and stepdaddy joseph does all that pure BDE do Things to poor Lexa™

Lyney & Merlin 1
The boxes were finally unpacked. Gauze strips, injections, cotton swabs, and tongue depressors all put in their designated spots. The doctor finished cleaning the windows and stretched. She looked around while hearing the cracks in her shoulders and back. It wasn’t much of a doctor’s office, but it was better than nothing. It was clean and ready to greet Fountain’s poor and ailing, and really, that was all that mattered at the end.
“Well, I think we’re ready for tomorrow, doc”.
The voice came from Sylvester, the head, and only, nurse.
“You sure you still want to work here, Sylvester? You still have a few hours to run away”
“Ah yes,” Sylvester sighed. “I deserve better than this”.
“You do”.
“Keep that in mind for my next paycheck,” Sylvester winked.
They put away a few last items then locked the doors. They both sighed and looked at the sign above: Ally Doctor. It was a simple wooden board carved by a grateful past patient. The doctor took it everywhere with her. Below, stuck on the door was a paper stating: New Patients Welcome. The quiet was soon interrupted by the mewling of ally cats.
“Really picked a location, eh doc?”
....... 6 months later .........
“You’re late!” Sylvester chided as the doctor entered.
“Oh hush, I’m not that late! And I had a late night,” the doctor snapped back as she took off her coat and hung it on the coat holder.
“Excuses,” Sylvester snorted. “Miss Ambrose is in 1, Ducky Collar is in 2, and I put Marvin Trout in 3, but Archons know where he is now”.
The doctor grabbed the files Sylvester held. Ignoring his rebukes at not reading the files, the doctor walked into her office and grabbed her stethoscope. She entered room one.
“Miss Ambrose?”
Miss Ambrose was one of the doctor’s first patients. A short stocky women in her fifties, Miss Ambrose, as she insisted on being called after her husband passed, had a sarcastic temperament. If she came in because her elbow was hurting, it was hurting, but really, it was because she actually had bruised her shoulder and didn’t notice.
“Is it you doc? Or did I die waiting for you?”
“Well, seeing as you’re in a doctor’s office, I’d place my bets with the living”.
“Ya, I suppose.,” Miss Ambrose chuckled. “Imagine though, dying and finding the afterlife being nothing more than a clinic”.
“So what brings you here today Miss Ambrose?”
“I think I’m dying.”
“Again?” the doctor sighed.
“This time I’m sure. See, I got this chest tightness,” she trailed off.
“Where exactly is the pain?” The doctor asked.
“Right here,” Miss Ambrose pointed her thumb directly to the centre of her chest.
“Uh huh, and what did you eat this morning?”
“Yesterday’s leftovers-- pizza”.
The doctor got up and reached into the medical cabinet. She pulled out a pill and gave it to Miss Ambrose.
“Take that”
“What is it?”
“An antacid. After you’re done come into my office, I want to talk to you”.
The doctor stepped out of the room and headed towards room 2, bumping into Marvin Trout on the way.
“Marvin!” she exclaimed.
“Hey doc, did you notice the amount of dust you have on the ceiling? I think I saw cobwebs”.
“It’s the new Halloween look we’re going for,” the doctor grumbled.
“It’s September, doc,” Marvin explained gently, as if the doctor was so busy she forgot what month it is.
“It’s November Marvin, just, just go back to room three and wait for me, okay?”
“You’re the doc”
Marvin headed back to room three, but went somewhere else again. Noting this, the doctor went into room two.
“Hello Ducky, what’s troubling you today?”
“You tell me”.
“Excuse me?”
“Look, I came here for a physical. Didn’t Sylvester write it? So now it’s your job to tell me what’s wrong”.
The doctor glanced at Ducky’s file and groaned internally.
“Alright,” she said as she washed her hands. “Let’s get your measurements”.
...
The doctor plopped into her office chair and stretched. What a day. First there was Miss Ambrose and having to explain that a person in their mid sixties should not chow down six slices of pizza, no matter how young they feel inside. Then there was Ducky and whole bunch of other patients with their aches and complaints. The doctor paused. Ducky’s blood pressure had been too high. And Marvin, Marvin was getting worse. He needed specialized care, care he could not possibly afford. That’s what most of them were here for.
“Merlin?” Sylvester's voice gently called the doctor our of her reverie. “Michael from Archons Hospital left a message. Something about making a space for Marvin?”
Merlin looked at him, questioningly.
“He said they’re all filled up in the Alzheimer's unit, but he’ll reach out to other hospitals.”
Merlin snorted. “Who’d have though space could cost so much?”
Sylvester gave a bemused smile and went back to his paperwork.
...
Walking home, Merlin looked up above her. Skyscrapers stood tall and proud. Lights blared down below emphasizing all kinds of merchandise and people speedily walked by. It didn’t matter which culture or which archons, people were always busy and preoccupied.

Because of this post I spent more time than I care to admit searching for hiding/storing/holding things in hats in Victorian era or really just any historical period. (Shame on me for missing this detail the first time I read it!) Nothing yet. I don't think it is a common practice of the time.
Maybe, just my guessing, that some working-class men could potentially use their hats as temporary holders of small items, but what doctor puts his stethoscope in his top hat while he wears it??? Like, that would be inconvenient to tip the hat and take it off? How do you prevent it from dropping out and do you store it back in when you put the hat back on? And it is just...weird???
Maybe he just puts it in there that day in a hurry or something but how the hell does Holmes know that is the stethoscope??? He must have done that many times and Holmes knows about it.
Also someone online says he may carry a hat just to put the stethoscope (or other items) in...I am not sure if that is better or more reasonable than putting it in the hat he is wearing, at least this way he doesn't have to carry an extra item lol. And a doctor carrying a top hat with his stethoscope inside is equally weird lol
Another possibility is when he was with the patient earlier, he happened to put the stethoscope in his hat, which sat on some surface next to him, and it left a bulge. But again, why would that be described as "secreted"? It sounds like Watson purposely hides it in the hat and is wearing it as they talk.
I don't know why Watson finds Holmes peculiar for storing his tobacco in a Persian slipper when he keeps his stethoscope in his hat lol
Could be a running joke between them--see, they share the same type of eccentricity and are really made for each other >w<

Fluster ask challange!!
Imagine if you will, a variety of Keifers.
Now, for starters, imagine being sick, and little Mr medical student, wannabe Doctor Nelson Wright~ is there to gently hold you. Coax you into sitting, he brings out his little equipment.
"Oh shh, here~ I'll warm it up a little don't want you much colder~" he gives little huffs onto the stethoscope, telling so gently how to breath. Gently touching your neck and softly asking in a gushed tone on the couch, or bed, where it hurts, if it hurts and doing basic check up like things. He's so soft, his hands a bit cold as they touch over you and they're cool against your too warm feverish skin. A little gasp as he chuckles a half-assed "Sorry they're cold~" knowing he likes the shiver and whine coming from you.
Now....he obviously tells you it's allergies, a cold maybe worst case the flu, but seeing all the test he did on you, it's s shock he manged to focuse and tell you what's the matter since he seemed more keen on watching you squirm and whine under his hands and gaze while he used a variety of medical tools to just check up on you. Pulse, heart rate, blood pressure, throat, ears, lymphnodes, reflex, even eye following.
He's so sweet, he's sooo gentle. His voice is soft and soothing, his touches like a gentle cloud as he tells you what to do and touches you slightly, trading gloved hands for bare ones, for skin on skin as he runs thst cold barely cared stethoscope under your shirt. A tease about your bra being in the way as he checks your breathing.
Just~ soft gentle medical things~ ahahah💕💕💕💕💕💕💕(I'm so touch starved-)
Now imagine: Sam Stanley. He's so dorky💗 he loves his coffee, his knickknacks, his oddities he's a bit on the messy cluttered side. Maybe your roommates, he needs some help with things and LOVES to cuddle~
He's not into much, but he does enjoy the company. Lots of soft blankets sweaters, and coffee to keep you warm on those still too cold winter or spring mornings when the weathers whirls and screams out as the wind shakes the trees, as the rain pours down.
"Looks like another day in...come here!" He snuggles next to you. All dressed in his slacks, a dress shirt, little sweater vest and bow tie. Even on his days off from the Beaure he likes his little clothes...thst or pajamas and a too baggy sweater.
He offers coffee tea, coco, all the warm drinks he has and of cource lots of sleepy cuddles~
Just he'd be soooooo cuddlllyyyy and sleepy and lay on you, face buried in your chest, stomach, thighs, where ever he could manage to lay and he'd gush about how much he loves you, your company, and how comfy you are and such and he'd happily hold you for cuddles!
(I headcanon Sam as Asexual, so he has no sexual attraction, or need/want for sex, it's not something he's into and has no desire or want for it. But he is a cuddles and hand holder and I believe is ace but likes cuddles and soft comforting touches is all!!!)

Reborn Rawlsian
Tumblr media
Sequel idea: Chaebol fiend 1-1 learns that his cruel son 1-1-1 has been reborn as a not only unnumbered but also unidentifiable underdog in his re-reseized conglomerate's vast network of stakeholders: employees, contractors, sub-contractors, vendors along the supply chain, small-time investors, retail customers, pollution sufferers, fellow taxpayers, public benefits recipients, etc. Nightmares of his underlings executing an accordingly uniformed or rags-draped version of his child on a desolate, roaring seaside cliff, the way an employee was killed under the instructions of someone in his family (spoiler-free description), recur until 1-1 successfully protects everyone in that stakeholder group.
Maximin and the Veil of Ignorance are two cornerstones of modern philosopher John Rawls' Original Position, from which he advocated deliberating among approaches to social justice. Found also in game theory, maximin refers to the highest value among the lowest possible outcomes, as its name suggests. Rawls argued that any social and economic inequalities must exist only if they lead us to a society which worst-off members fare better than the worst-off members of all other possible societies.*
The Veil of Ignorance is similarly common sense that has not translated to common reality. It says that decision makers in the above deliberation are to assume that they know nothing particular about themselves, such as their strengths, assets or specific interests.^ They only know broad facts applicable to most people like the need for income and opportunity.^ The possibility of being the worst-off person in any resulting society should then motivate each decision maker to secure the maximin.
youtube
The natural question to ask is how to ensure decision makers live up to those ideals. Could possibility, as opposed to significant probability, be enough of a motivator even if one were willing to turn a blind eye to adverse consequences for her relatively privileged, actual tribe? The most disadvantaged people do not necessarily constitute the lowest yet broadest stratum of a pyramid. They could be individuals suffering rare, exceptionally debilitating diseases, for instance. Compounding the matter is the tendency for the different components of the deliberation and feedback processes to lie in different parties: Systematic insights into differing justice approaches are concentrated among intellectuals; the power to distribute social goods lies in economic and political elites, not all of whom care to be intellectuals; the richest wealth of granular knowledge about the suffering of the worst-off members of society probably lies in themselves.
Tumblr media
For public pressure and monitoring to effectively push decision makers into the Original Position, there must be adequate sharing of facts and sentiments among the three groups. Voices in support of the worst off need meme power, whether in the form of compelling logic pitches or emotional appeal, to compensate for disadvantage in numbers in any non-pyramidal society. That is where arts can structure medical, financial and sociopolitical access for the better, saving lives and dignity with nary a stethoscope.
There is one other solution. Near the end of the last episode, 1-1 lies in exhaustion on the copper-hued sands of a valley in Nallıhan, where shady plans were carried out in Reborn Rich, after rescuing his son for good. The poignant portrait shots are intercut with extensive flashbacks to tribulations the duo has undergone at the hands of selfish, uncooperative fellow power holders. But before long, the smooth talker springs up with a wicked glint in his eyes. 1-1 rises to the seat of national president on the strength of his now-impressive civil reform records and galvanizes support (don't ask about his extortionary tactics) for a new bill that mandates all capable people of working age to take a gap month every year in the most miserable sectors in the country, unless they already work or live in any of the sectors. The economic impact on existing workers in those sectors will have to be ascertained, however. And 1-1 may well get voted out of office by the next term. For now, nevertheless, he shall have his own revenge.

Where to Look for the Greatest Nursing Uniforms: Some Ideas
Nurse care uniform is quite important in the medical field. These uniforms stand for professionalism, cleanliness, and comfort more than merely a dress code. We'll examine the importance of nursing care uniforms, their development, essential elements, and how they affect patient care in this post.
Body: Since the early days of healthcare, the nursing care uniform has seen significant advancements. In the 1800s, nurses often wore long, flowing gowns and aprons that were more appropriate for a domestic worker's outfit than for a medical practitioner. This approach presented a serious hygiene issue in addition to being impracticable. The original creator of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, designed the distinctive white garment after seeing the necessity for a more practical uniform. In addition to being a symbol of purity, the white uniform made upkeep of cleanliness and stain detection easy.
Nurses tunics have developed throughout time to include contemporary materials and styling cues that put comfort and usefulness first. These days, these uniforms are made to be as convenient as possible for nurses without sacrificing hygienic requirements. Nurse tunics have become an essential component of the healthcare industry, appearing on everything from scrubs to lab coats and everything in between.
Important Elements of Nursing Care Uniforms
A standard nursing uniform is made up of a few essential parts, each of which has a distinct function. The most typical components consist of:
The cornerstone of a care worker's attire is their scrubs. These two-piece outfits are available in a variety of hues and patterns, usually consisting of a short-sleeved blouse and slacks. Scrubs are composed of sturdy, easily-cleanable materials and are built for comfortable mobility throughout extended shifts.
Lab Coats: To offer an extra degree of defense from spills and pollutants, lab coats are often worn over scrubs. They also include pockets to hold necessary objects and tools.
Footwear: To spend lengthy shifts on their feet, nurses need sturdy, comfortable shoes. Wearing the right shoes is essential to avoiding weariness and pain.
Accessory items: During patient care, items like as name tags, stethoscope holders, and badges are crucial for ease and identification.
Nursing Care Uniform Significance
In the healthcare sector, nurse care uniforms are essential for a number of reasons. First of all, they aid in projecting a credible and professional image. The uniform is often associated with competence and knowledge by patients and their families, which fosters trust in the quality of treatment received.
Moreover, cleanliness is given priority in nursing care outfits. Early nursing uniforms were not randomly colored white; rather, it was intended to draw attention to any stains or contamination and promote regular washings and careful cleaning. In order to reduce the danger of infection transmission, many contemporary uniforms include moisture-wicking and antimicrobial qualities. Modern uniforms continue to stress hygiene. Opt for the Care worker dresses there.
Finally, team identity and cohesiveness are facilitated by uniforms. Easily identifiable uniforms guarantee that patients and coworkers can readily recognize who is who in a busy healthcare setting, minimizing misunderstanding and enhancing communication.
Effect on Medical Care
Beyond appearance and hygienic considerations, nursing care uniforms may have a direct influence on patient care. Better patient outcomes result from the professionalism these uniforms represent, which fosters a relationship of trust and understanding between patients and healthcare professionals. Modern nursing uniforms are more practical and comfortable, which helps nurses concentrate on their primary responsibilities without being bothered or distracted, eventually leading to higher-quality treatment.
Conclusion
In summary, nursing care uniforms represent professionalism, comfort, and cleanliness in the healthcare sector and are more than simply a piece of apparel. The transition of these uniforms from traditional garb to contemporary, useful apparel is a reflection of the dynamic demands placed on healthcare practitioners. Nurse care uniforms are a vital part of the healthcare environment because of their importance in fostering cleanliness, team cohesiveness, and patient trust.
