Another DeadTired idea. And Ghost King Danny with Consort Tim.

Tim dies a bitter ended death with the Batfam (Maybe during his RR run and isn't caught by Dick when he is kicked out of WE window? Or its in the future where his relationship between the bats is bad.)

So yeah Tim dies. And wakes in the Infinite Realms and learns to unlive in that Realm and gained a wonderful afterlife.

And somehow manages to gain the attention of the Ghost King, King Phantom and somehow manages to become his Consort after some adorable ghost courting.

Despite the fact he's been dead for like a few months in his original Realms timeline, time in the Infinite Realms is more ocean like than riverish, Tim has been happily married to his husband for what feels like eons.

So Tim was not, very very not happy when his ghost is suddenly pulled away from his anniversary dinner and stuffed back into his body.

He hears yelling and fighting, wakes to see the Bats fighting League Assassins while Batman is fighting Ra's in rage.

And Tim.

He isn't happy at all.

He already figured it out, connected the dots.

Oh Ra's was going to regret bringing him back. The Bats, and he KNOWS they should had respected his last wishes to be fucking cremated, ashes scattered in space, so THIS wouldn't had happened.

Cause Tim wasn't playing around anymore.

do you ever think about how dorian has lived his whole life as secondsun? how even his own name was a representation of how insignificant he felt growing up? his role in society as secondary was determined as soon as his name was.

and then. do you compare that to orym calling THE sun? do you think about how to orym, dorian is THE light that sparked within him, keeping him going in his darkest moments? how dorian was so vital to him that he was always on his mind no matter where he went? how dorian is not just a force that spurs orym to survive, but to live a life that's worth living?

can you imagine being dorian in that moment? hearing the man you love decree not only are you not secondary to anybody (one of the few times you have ever been told that), not only that you are one of the most important people in his life (for most of your life you've never felt important anywhere) but that to him, you are a symbol of optimism and hope and change beyond any other? (you've never really known what you have to offer)

there is only one sun in orym's life. and that is you, despite everything that you have been brought up to believe. how do you not melt?

Thinking about Dorian and Orym in the wake of watching the finale episodes last night

Orym, a solider, a man who lost his husband, just trying to follow his duty to Keyleth. Him at the end still doing that, but also finally living for himself. And finding love again in the process, and getting to explore that love day by day. 💚

And Dorian. Oh my favorite blue boy 💙 Him leaving home to escape. Trying to find himself. Finding friends/his found family along the way both in the Crown Keepers and Bells Hells. What really hit me last night with his story was him wanting to travel and just… be free. And talking to his mom, so worried that he would be hated for putting himself first. I felt that. But he gets to continue to travel. To forge his own path. To continue to be with the man with the most beautiful kind face he’s ever known.

And as someone who got a vibe from these two from the beginning of EXU, it made me happy to see their lives continue together 💙💚

So we know during the time Tim lost in spleen (his Red Robin run) and wakes ups next to the pit he almost believed he had been tossed in the Lazarus Pits.

What if

Now hear me out.

What if he actually was.

But what if instead of gaining Pit Madness, he unlocked his past life memories.

His memories of being Daniel 'Danny' Fenton and Danny Phantom.

And once the memories returned so did his ghost form and powers.

And as Tim sits at the bottom of the pits, crossing his legs and letting all his memories slide back into place he questioned what to do now. He pondered for a moment and hummed tapping a finger to his chin.

Maybe he'll play the Pit Madness card? After all Ra's chucked him in here to either turn him into a mindless rage machine he could manipulate or see what the Pits would do to a mind like Tim's. Or Tim could pretend to be a silent rage, a calm before the storm.

Well, Tim grinned his eyes glowing green as he stared at the surface of the Lazarus waters above him, he was very good at lying this life time around. After all he was Tim 'I can even lie to Batman and get away with it' Drake-Wayne and he did used to be Danny 'Commit to the bit' Fenton/Phantom.

He was going to have fun playing that fruitloop named Ra's like the cheap kazoo he was.

can't stop thinking about how that whole situation must've been bonkers from Tommy's pov

like, there is this dude so imprinted on you that he hangs out with you 3 days a week, while you both have differing schedules and do 24-hour shifts — oh and supposedly he also has a girlfriend.

and then his boy best friend asks you for a tour at your station and flirts with you, and then he shows up anywhere where he can get you and ends up bodyclocking his bestie like a preteen boy, which you'd think was to punish him, but you later find out that it was a subconscious attempt to get him out of the competition.

that's not mentioning the fact that the guy imprinted on you also introduced you to his son, who is incredibly fond of the other guy and won't shut up about him.

and then you worry that you came between these two friends, so you go see the one who is clearly more upset, to reassure him that's not what's happening, only to find out that he was actually crushing on you this whole time and he is also just realising this as he's telling it to you.

can you imagine the spin all that gave to Tommy's head??

I imagine Penny and Misha getting along pretty well.

Misha could be like “want to go throw rocks at Constance’s window until she gives us food?” and Penny would just be like “sure” no questions asked.

I feel like they would get to know each other, and appreciate each other in a chaotic way, and everything would be cool and good.

…Until Misha mentions he’s a rapper.

I imagine it would be like ptsd flashbacks lmao. Misha’s like “I rap” and Penny immediately starts shaking. She’s torn because she loves Misha but rap music is the bane of her existence and it’s like. yeah.

She does not bite him on the face when he says it and she’s proud of herself for that.

Dorym's (yes dorym) attachment and love for Imogen is so unbelievably soft and loving and I'm OBSESSED with it.

Orym has been right there in front of Imogen the entire time. He's been protecting her and supporting her since the very beginning. He heard "she's very capable" and he said "fuck yeah she is". Orym telling her he'd be proud to be her dad. Orym putting all his faith in her despite her fears and her obvious weaknesses (ie not being able to give up on her mother). I wouldn't go as far as to call her his daughter but that's his second best friend and he loves her SO much.

Dorian. Dorian Storm admires and respects the FUCK out of Imogen. They've only gotten closer since his return. I think they see themselves in the other. I think there is a commonality they find in being some of the youngest in the group. This is their first real excursion into the world. They're just now settling into their queer identities. They have strained relationships with their fathers. They love their mothers. They are just constantly supporting and uplifting each other.

And Imogen loves dorym as much as they love her. She cried when Orym told her that he was proud of her. She trusted Orym to keep her secret when she went looking for her mother. She listened to Orym about his family. I truly believe Orym is the reason why Imogen has stayed on this side of the fight. I think, in a worse world, Imogen would have joined up with her mother. Not because she believed any of it. But because whatever the end result is, she would have time with her mother. But knowing and loving Orym she stayed on the right path because of exactly how much hurt and pain her mother helped cause. If she didn't know it. If she didn't see it. She would have been with her mother.

Imogen pulls Dorian into her little "we were being too loud" rouse because on some level I think they both knew that the other was fundamentally unattracted to the other and I think that harbors a solidarity between them. Like not to meme on a meta post but wlw & mlm solidarity at its finest. She teased him when he comes back and when he understands that's what she's doing he grins and says "I've missed you too". And since then they've had this back and forth where they can be a little mean to each other. And they can be a lot sweet to each other. I think they gave each other a sibling. And no. Imogen didn't do that to replace Cyrus. But she wanted a brother. And Dorian wanted a sister.

I don't remember what my thesis was going to be but all of this is to say the dorym & Imogen dynamics mean a lot to me and I love seeing every part of it in action.
