A tempranas horas de la mañana se instalaron las ventas de flores tradicionales para el día de muertos. Los vendedores vienen de diferentes lugares Almolonga, Zunil, Llanos del Pinal.

Rosas, girasoles, flor de muerto, corozo, pino, hojas de eucalipto, coronas de flores, llovizna y otras flores se veían a las afueras del cementerio general.

Ventas de comida, juegos y los tradicionales barriletes no podían hacer falta este día.

Hi hru I'm new to Spanish and I wanted to ask what are the basic things I need to learn about it/know about it?

I suggest starting with www.studyspanish.com/grammar since it's very comprehensive for beginners and touches on all major grammar points from beginner to advanced and you can go from there

In general in the beginning stick to present tense, gender of nouns, agreement between nouns and adjectives, basic nouns, and the general rules of conjugating the regular and irregular verbs

You'll also want to know numbers, colors, definite articles, and indefinite articles and the basic pronouns

The grammar all kind of works together so you'll see multiple concepts together and learn as you go. It seems overwhelming when you list it out all like that, but it becomes easier once you get the hang of it

(There are certain phrases involving particular nouns like tener that you'll eventually want to know too)

And the only immediate thing I can think of is how to phrase interrogative statements vs regular declarative statements

Everything else slowly becomes more intermediate and advanced but the studyspanish website does a good job introducing them in the same order a school would

What is your favorite subject/topic to study at the moment?

As a working immigrant, I am most invested into subjects that possibly can improve my work performance and/or make my resume look outstanding. Therefore I am focused on improving my teaching skills, my English, and learning about childhood development. 

As for favorite although not practically useful at all (at least not yet) - Spanish!

I’ve been keeping up well, just too busy to post! im currently working on my first bujo spread everrr for november, i wont have it done on time for the month to start but by the first week! my brother left today to go back home which is very sad, i hanging out with him and complaining about school together! :( but we have plans for weekly calls so i’ll still hear from him but i’ve been doing wery well sticking to studying. on friday i had two big tests and i got a 44/50 out of one which is my worst grade so far, but the prof also made it clear that this unit was going to be the hardest.

Dia de los Santos, 1 de Noviembre en Quetzaltenango 2024.

Thousands of people visited the local cemetery to remember their dead relatives or friends. Graves were painted and decorated with flowers, people were praying for the relatives. Many bring food, others played music to remember their deceased relatives. It was a beautiful event.

Hey there!

This is my introductory post to my new blog. I’m Paula and i’m a college freshman in Economics. I felt this year like an opportunity to start something new and decided i could participate in the studyblr community, as I’ve been in Tumblr for 6 years now (phew!) with my other blog but never posted my own content.

Here are some facts about me:

Interests

I’m taking English and German clases and i’ve studied them for practically my entire school journey. Still there is a loooong way to go.

I’m so so so into all aspects of art. If I hadn’t chosen Economics as my degree, I would have probably chosen something related to Art.

I love drawing, photography and listening to my faves music artists. My all time favourites are Coldplay, Sticky Fingers, The NBHD, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and 5SOS. I could keep going but it would be eternal.

Though i love reading and watching Netflix, i’m really lazy when it comes to finishing a book or a serie.

Why a studyblr?

As i said, i’ve always seen studyblr and langblr posts but never posted my own, so i thought i could give it a try this year. Hopefully this blog will keep me motivated and organised throughout the year, and i also look forward to make new friends in the community!
