Was rewatching the episode with Jeff the Accountant recently and also there was an ofmd post talking about Ed being a little guy, and it made me think of Steven universe G.U.Y.S. (Guys under your supervision) and gee if it didn’t just fit perfectly on so many levels for a crossover…

Lapis: Was this before she gave up her gem?

Steven: Yes it was.

Dipper: But! The point being, that even though things look bad—

Mabel: —there is a rainbow around every corner!

Stan: And nothing but smooth sailing ahead!

Amethyst: Smooth sailing, Stan?!

The crew turns their attention to the back of the yacht where the ocean’s waves are rising, menacingly. They are quickly surrounded by dark stormy clouds and heavy winds. All the while, a muffled sound could be heard coming from the boat’s galley.

(Explanation for the GIF: Squidward is Stanley, the screaming customers behind him is the panicking crew (Dipper, Mabel, Lapis, Steven, and Amethyst), and Mr. Krabs is Greg. The goopy monster chasing after him is the tidal wave.

I imagine that Greg would jump out of the galley, all tied up, and say something similar like “it’s the tidal wave!”

Why’s Greg all tied up? He was trying to convince Stanley to turn the (rented) boat around after hearing on the radio about a big storm coming in. Stan, of course, took care of it by tying Greg up (with Amethyst’s help) and pretending that everything is normal.

Things are not normal. Even Amethyst is starting to doubt Stan’s composure to keep the “family outing” going.

Jason's been pestering Danny about why he looks like a borderline walking corpse for ages and Danny has decided to put his lying skills to the test. (he has none)

rambling below cut

I've been playing w the idea that the more Danny transforms, the more his ghost form gets "lively" while his human form gets weaker and more sickly. He knows that if he keeps transforming like this then, one day, he's not going to have a livable body to go back to, but he really doesn't want to think about all that. He's more interested in the weird "totally dead but not dead" Wayne son who may or may not have a thing for his sister.

everytime i do one these im like "this time I'll keep it simple so I don't have to suffer through colouring bc I have zero foresight��it'll be greyscale at most" and then all of the sudden its 4am and i'm trying to finish a stupid comic but i decided to add "some" colour to spice it up and hide my shitty ink job and then SOME COLOUR ALWAYS BECOMES FULL COLOUR WHY CAN I NOT ESCAPE THIS STUPID CYCLE!!

(did this all stem from me not being able to decide between a super pale character design and one w a vibrant tan bc I love white hair + tan but I also love extremely pale albino so I forced myself to find a way to make both work? never! that's absurd!)

Jazz in a bad British accent: *holds up a puppy* This is our son, Lord Fluffy of the Ally-tons. We found him at the border of our lands and accepted him into our homes as our heir. He shall be the bridge that connects our kingdoms. Danny: ....what? Jazz dropping the accent: This puppy lived in the alleyway between our apartments. We both started feeding and caring for him. Lord Fluffy got confused and started running between our apartments using the fire escapes. One little hop and he was at Jason's. Another, and he was at mine. We agreed to share custody over him since our schedules work that way, and we put a bridge with railings for Lord Fluffy to cross to whatever apartment he wants. Danny: Oh. And why didn't you just stop Lord Fluffy from getting on the fire escape? Jazz: He threw a chair through my window and jumped through Jason when he closed his. We figured this solution was safer. Danny: Are you....are you sure that's a regular dog? Jazz: Jason said all Gotham-borns are a little crazy. It's not Lord Fluffy's fault there is something in the water here.

So, Danny and Jason have been fake dating for a while now, and ended up marrying each other solely for tax benefits. Also, they got cool ass fucking friendship rings that they just couldn't not wear everywhere and being married is convenient so...

Anywho, so Jason has met Danny's parents but Danny hasn't met Jason's parents. Danny knows that he has some ties with the vigilantee scene due to being a Crime Lord-he still doesn't know what to think of his parents connecting the dots immediately when they only met him once while it took him more than that while living with the guy.

He thinks Jason may have been an ex-vigilantee at some point before turning to crime.

Then Danny gets blinded by rich people aura when he finds out that his bestfriend is the long thought dead child of Bruce Wayne. Frankly, he's insulted.

You mean to tell him that his could've been buying ice cream from that high class place all this time!? He shook (literally he grabbed and shook him) that point into Jason, he doesn't care that Jason never told him he was rich but he could've at least bought some high class ice cream once in a while.

Jason who was busy solidifying his power as a crime lord, avoiding his family and making sure not to leak his identity at all: I'm a literal crime lord, and the only thing you care about is me not buying you ice cream?

Danny: YES!!!!

Jason: Dork.

Right anyways, so Jason takes Danny along to meet Bruce and his fam but did say as soon as he started being uncomfortable they're leaving. The batfam is a bit blindsided by Danny, because they thought Jason was bringing his partner but its good to also get a feel for Danny's personality.

Danny and Jason did what's normal for them when Danny starts getting comfortable around the manor full of things that cost waaay more than his rent. Like half-heartedly insulting each other, being snarky, leaning on each other and other such things.

The batfam start thinking that there's more there than they know of. So they start watching a bit closer and ask a few round about questions that fly over Danny and Jason's heads. They just forget they're married often, unless it's regarding taxes.

All of this sends the wrong message when they walk into the same room and, being nosy, one of the batfam comes up to the door and uh. They hear the bed moving quite a lot.

So.

Meanwhile, Jason is trying to wrestle with Danny because this man does not pick a lane. He'll either be the human octopus (who is cold as hell) Jason has ever seen, he'll try to kick him off the bed in his sleep as if Jason personally offended him in some way, or he'll sleep in some wacky position that interrupts Jason's sleep. The last one is tied to the other two, however.

So, Jason has to frequently wrestle this man into a proper position where they both manage to get some sleep and it wouldn't have been so bad if Danny wasn't a goddamn sleep fighter. He would know, he had to nurse a bruised jaw for a few weeks.

Why do they sleep together? Listen, when you're in an apartment with not a lot of money, you gotta cut costs where you can alright?

It's been a little while! I took a break because I got a bad cold and then got a bad case of art block, but I'm back and drawing Disco Universe again at my own pace :-) Here's Lilienne Carter as a Lapis Lazuli! I love that Lapis has gold accents and thought I would incorporate that in her design. Her abilities are water based, and her gem weapon is her sabre. Her gem is on her bicep.
