these are written as a story with each letter being a new chapter. I recommend reading in chronological order for story purposes, but these could also work as one shots.
unless explicitly stated, all my fics ignore anything related to jeid, and in my universe, maeve simply does not exist. i do like the idea that spencer and ethan may have had a romance in college
the following events are removed from canon: anything related to a jeid romance, maeve (i just can't have reader and spencer break up for her character to have her moment)
the following events are what i believe to have happened before this timeline began: spencer and ethan had a small (non-sexual) romance in college which is the real reason why they hadn't spoken in years, spencer is a virgin, lila archer events did occur, however i do not believe he had real feelings for her, he was just doing his job (i do think he enjoyed the kiss though, because who wouldn't)
I’ve put them in a timeline and they are further categorized by emojis

Want to know everything that's ever happened in Project Sekai but don't have time to read all those stories? Guess what! For the low, low price of "it seems fun", I'll be summarizing every single event!
Feel free to request any summaries or card stories you'd like to see summarized. You may also submit your own summaries, if you'd like! Use the forms found in this post to do so :)
If you have a question about any of the stories as well, feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer! (Or just come and say hi :3)
If you'd like to use any of these summaries as part of a project (i.e. video essay, character analysis, etc.), you are more than welcome to! Just please credit this blog when you do so, since I do put a lot of work into each.
I try my best to get 1-2 summaries out a week, but i’m a busy college student doing this in my spare time, so things might be slow!
Masterpost links below the cut. All summaries will be tagged by unit, character appearances, and special type, if applicable.

Hello! I don't know who i should connect to about this.
You may be familiar with the general situation of trans and generally queer people in russia. Since the start of war in Ukraine, the law, that was in force for about 10 years and banned "LGBT propaganda" for minors (in fact, it banned any information to teenagers and any materials that are in any way related to queer people and potentially accessible to minors) was changed to a complete ban on “LGBT propaganda”.
In October of this year, russia completely banned documentary and medical transition for transgender people and significantly restricted their other rights. More specifically here: https://www.thepinknews.com/2023/07/25/vladimir-putin-trans-healthcare-ban-russia/
On November 30, the russian Supreme Court classified the “international LGBT movement” as an “extremist organization.” What this means exactly is explained in detail here:
https://meduza.io/en/cards/russia-has-banned-the-so-called-international-lgbt-movement
The activist team “Quarteera” has started a petition calling for easier access to refugee status for trans* people from Russia in Germany (e.g. the possibility of applying for refugee status for people already in Germany without having to travel to russia to submit documents).
🟣 The petition can be read and signed here until December 18th: https://epetitionen.bundestag.de/content/petitionen/_2023/_08/_22/Petition_156274.html
Residents of other countries can sign too.
I would be very grateful if you would sign the petition and help spread the word.
The petition is in German, but anyone can sign!
According to Wikipedia, the group behind the petition is involved in numerous educational activities and demonstrations that aim to help LGBT+ Russian migrants and their families in Germany.
"Quarteera is a Russian-speaking non-profit volunteer LGBT registered association in Berlin, Germany. The association was officially registered in April 2011 and calls itself the "Russian-speaking group of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender people and their friends in Germany"."
ToApril is once again upon us! Can you believe this is the third year this is taking place?
At this point we will assume everybody gets the concept of ToApril, but if you don’t, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Before we jump right into it, we want to emphasize the rules of toapril:
Please keep it TOA related. You can use characters from other series or your own, but the prompts were made with the characters of TOA in mind.
No NSFW. There are adults and minors alike participating and definitely browsing the internet within the fandom. Mature topics can be brought up, but anything graphic is not allowed.
Note: None of the prompts are ship based, but you are definitely allowed to include ships!
If you write a fic on ao3, please put it in the toapril 2024 collection. If you’re not sure how to do that, here are some instructions:
Option1: Go to the collection. There should be a button at the top right saying ‘post to collection’. Click that button and the rest should be as it would normally be when you post a fic.
Option 2: Post a new fic as usual, but in the associations section, type in toapril in the post to collections / challenges space and it should pop up. Make sure you add it in the 2024 one. It will stay open for a couple of weeks after April just in case you need more time to finish something.
If you want to post something on tumblr, please tag it with #toapril and #toapril2024. You can also tag this blog in your post, we would love to see all of your amazing works this year :D.
Have fun! If there’s any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

October 6, 1939: Hitler formulated a project to reorganize European “ethnic relations” through expulsion operations. Poland became the test case for this scheme.
October 7, 1939: Hitler entrusted Himmler with planning and coordinating population transfers. The RKFdV (“Reichskommissariat für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums”, Reich Commission for the reinforcement of Germanity) is responsible for the geographical planning of Germanization.
January 1940: Meyer-Heitling (RKFdV) submitted a general project for economic and human planning for the annexed territories, to Himmler: this was the first “Generalplan Ost”. The document proposed to Germanize the conquered Polish territories in 25 years, mostly through the expulsion of populations.
January 1940: Eichmann became logistics specialist in charge of the operational dimension of Germanization (coordinate the expulsion of non-Germans and the settlement of “Volksdeutsche”, ethnic Germans, in the occupied territories).
July 15, 1941: According to the second “Generalplan Ost”, 31 million men were to be transferred thoughout all of conquered eastern Europe; Himmler had asked Meyer-Heitling to take the Wehrmacht’s conquests (present or future) into account. The regions of Leningrad and the Crimea were considered “Germanizable”.
February 4, 1942: The RSHA (“Reichssicherheitshauptamt”, Reich Security Main Office) discussed the “Generalplan Ost” and the population selection criteria across eastern Europe.
April 27, 1942: The “Generalplan Ost” was debated, essentially by Wetzel (in charge of racial policy at the Ostministerium).
May 28, 1942: The RKFdV’s third “Generalplan Ost” was issued, defining three settlement zones (Ingermanland, Gottengau, Memel-Narew) and 36 colonization bases.
December 23, 1942 – February 15, 1943: The RKFdV issued its “Generalsiedlungsplan” (General Settlement Plan); the last, expanded version of the “Generalplan Ost” was also issued.

Issue 114: Quantum Entanglement
* issue date: Monday, April 28
* text deadline: Tuesday, April 15
* art deadline: Saturday, April 26
Our April issue is all about bringing things together, no matter how far apart they are.
SPECIAL NOTE: Obviously there are a number of ways to interpret this theme, especially along isekai lines, and we’re happy to see all of them. However, for this issue, we’d especially like to encourage submissions that are “entangled” with other SSBB stories and art. One way to do this is to come back to older pieces — rewriting a story from a different character’s point of view, writing a story based on a standalone illustration, or creating a radically different version of a story or illustration that already exists in our archives. Another way is to team up with other creators for this issue on completely new pieces and either collaborate on a single submission or create two (or more!) submissions that work as counterparts to one another.
As always, stories have to stand alone and should not necessitate someone’s having read something else before — which should also mean that stories submitted together should be able to be read in any order and must be complete stories with a self-contained beginning, middle, and end.
Note that this is not about continuing someone else’s story, much less just plain rewriting it. While you are welcome to use someone else’s work as a starting point, your finished product should be substantially different. Works inspired by pieces in earlier issues will have linked credit to their inspiration(s).

Missed our previous collabatimatic? Well, there’s good news for you today!
Come join us in creating an animatic for Generation X & Billy Idol's memifiable song "Dancing with Myself" to celebrate... Um... Joeyverse :)!
Organized by @insane-control-room (who also drew the cute lil animation above!) and yours truly <3
The animatic will be a bouncy Joey centric project. Each artist will be assigned at least 3 frames for one panel. Slots are flexible, and roll call ends April 21st. The final deadline will be July 9th, with check-ins every two weeks or so! Editing skills are welcome :)
View the outlines, roadmap, and more on the Discord server here:
A more detailed roadmap looks like this:
April 2: Begin Role Call
April 21: End Roll call
May 4: Finalize Verse Claims. All Joey References Submitted
May 18: Submit Sketch
June 1: Submit Progress (1/3) (the three-to-five frames of your panel should be lineworked)
June 14: Submit Progress (2/3) (the three-to-five frames of your panel should be colored)
June 31: Submit Progress (3/3) (final draft)
July 9: All Panels Submitted, editing begins
July 25: Preview/Final Edits
July 30/August 1: Showtime!
Imagine Dragons’ “Sharks” is on the roster for a future animatic, so if you want to join, Sharks will require that you have worked on at least one animatic with our team previously due to an ambitious workload.
This month’s event we are doing Thankful for Rare Pairs! This is a bingo style event. In total there will be three cards: one with the rare pairs, one with smut prompts, and one with non-smut prompts. We included a bingo card with non-smut prompts because sometimes you just want your blorbos to hold hands. We will be reblogging and sharing content from this event for all of March and April (this event runs from March 1st 2024 to April 30th 2024). Do not feel any pressure to complete all the prompts within one month (and don’t feel any pressure to finish all the prompts!).
How to play:
Option 1: If you have one rare pair you really like or one rare pair that really speaks to you, take that pair and use the prompts to create something for them.
Option 2: You can use all the bingo cards with different pairings and different prompts for your creations!
Any fic, art, moodboard, playlist etc. will be included and we are happy to reblog!
Additional rules:
You can use multiple prompts for one creation. These can come from different cards (pairing + smut prompt + non-smut prompt) or come from the same card (pairing + smut prompt 1 + smut prompt 2, etc.). How you use the prompt cards is up to you!
If you want to play option 1 (only one pairing but using the prompt cards) but your pairing is not on the list: No problem! Just use the free space. If your pairing is a rare pair but not included, we would love to hear about it!
How do I know if my pairing is a rare pair? If you feel it is a rare pair it’s a rare pair. Our bingo list came from a poll that one of the mods (@the-girl-with-the-algebra-book) created. Some of them have 300 fics on AO3 and some have less than 25 (Borry. The answer is Borry, Boromir/Merry and I need more signed @frosticenow). We did not want to have any strict definitions for rare pairs to keep it open.
To get a bingo you need to have a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) filled and this can include the free space. To get a super bingo (we did not know what else to call it) you need to fill up a card, only one card. If you fill up more than one you get more than one super bingo!
As always, if you want us to reblog please:
tag us @tolkienpinupcalendar
use the tag #tpcrarepairbingo
Submit to our smut-missions form
Add the work to our AO3 collection
What do I win if I get bingo?
Well if you get a super bingo you get a homemade playlist by @the-girl-with-the-algebra-book. Mattie makes the best playlists btw so this is very cool. (It doesn't have to be about your rare pair or even Tolkien related! Just whatever you want!)
The most important rule is to have fun! We look forward to seeing what you create!
Mods @the-girl-with-the-algebra-book and @frosticenow
