So I accidentally stumbled upon this manga called "Centaurs" (Jimba) by Ryo Sumiyoshi, and I already highly recommend it. It takes place in feudal era Japan and it's feels all around. Later volumes coming this year.

So I've only read Madk, Our Torsos align and the start of Centaurs, but i feel like Suzuri Ryo must've enjoyed Devilman at some point too right?? i wonder if there's fanart...since even clamp did ones at somepoint owo Actually, maybe Berserk too?? Or maybe I'm just projecting my faves here now idk

Really disappointed to hear about ablaze publishing allowing Jinba (Centaurs) to be translated with ai, which has shown majorly incorrect details and stiff writing 😔 I had just found out it had been licensed in english too only to discover a twitter thread about it when trying to find ryo sumiyoshi's account.

These are some of my favorite characters from the master creature designer Sumiyoshi, Ryo's new "How to Draw" guide book. I will say now it's one of my Top recommends for drawing creatures with it's many illustrations and simple to follow but well thought out explanations on techniques and anthro terminology.

Definitely MORE pages to share soon (once I figure out much better way to take book pics 😑)

Heartbroken to find out a manga I was really looking forward to was translated with AI that can't even get character names right wtf.
