i went to the park again today with my sister
i saw this tree which i’m pretty sure is a yew tree (Taxus baccata) and a fun fact about yew trees is that they have been seen as a symbol of immortality, which could be due to the fact that they can live up to 3000 years, however also may be because they are evergreen and have been known to ‘come back to life’ even when decayed.
the oldest yew tree in the UK is the Fortingall yew in Perthshire which is thought to be 2000-3000 years old
also saw this brown pigeon (the only one, the rest were grey)
sun glitter on the water!!!
sleeping mallards (Anas platyrhyncos)
a coot (Fulica atra) nest
there was quite a few of these and most of them were on the water but near some trees/vegetation but one was just out on the open water

Imposter made Moon a sweater and they're reading old-school fairy tales. Probably 'The Willful Child'.
The Imposter <- Please give a read if you can. ;n; I was gonna write a little blurb here but I'll spare you folks lol It's a slow burn mystery.

I hope your day is fantastic! What's one of your favorite gold theme pictures ever?
I have too many favorites, but the first that popped into my head were pictures of "Sun Glitter." I love it when the sun sparkles on the water during golden hour.
Thank you. I hope yours is fantastic as well!
