HIHI!! Hypersexuality, also known as hypersexual disorder, or sex addiction, is an obsessive fixation on sex, sexual acts/behaviours, and sexual fantasies. It can be a response to trauma !
(a few) Signs you have it include:
☆ You have repeated and intense sexual fantasies, behaviours, and urges that take up a lot of your time, and feel as though they're beyond your control.
☆ Hypersexual behavior may involve excessive masturbation, having multiple sexual partners, excessively watching/reading pornography, or paying for sex.
☆ You have difficulty establishing and maintaining a relationship with other people, especially romantic partners.
☆ You use compulsive sexual behavior as an escape from other problems, such as loneliness, depression, anxiety or stress.
☆ You feel driven or have frequent urges to do certain sexual behaviours and feel a release of the tension afterward, but also feel shame, deep guilt, and regret as well.
☆ Continuing to engage in sexual behaviors and activities even after they’ve caused harm.
☆ You've tried without success to reduce or control your sexual fantasies, urges or behavior.
☆ Hypersexuality can begin as excessive masturbating while watching pornography, or generally wanting and needing sex, eventually developing into a constant need.
☆ Some have reported having suicidal ideation.
Important!!: Hypersexuality looks different in everyone who has the condition. While one person may mainly struggle with controlling their sexual fantasies, another might struggle with controlling the urge to carry out certain sexual acts like masturbation.

I will warn you that this fanfiction does have seizures, vomit, and blood described in it with Carlos having epilepsy inspired by Cameron Boyce's epilepsy. I myself have epilepsy and this is based off the times I've had seizures from cleaning a bathroom or doing my nails (weird chemical things i guess), but it's different for everyone so this is going off my experiences and my experiences only. I've also listed several links for first-aid if someone is having a seizure but if I got something wrong, PLEASE let me know.

When Carlos comes to, he’s not sure what time it is or where he is, but when he hears the gentle drips of rain (when did it start raining?) he knows he’s in Auradon because everything is gentle in Auradon. Their room is still dark like it was before, but a soft glow that hurts his eyes is added, and the blankets are ruffled and torn off the bed. There’s a spot of dry blood from where he bit his tongue and he can feel the slight mark against the roof of his mouth. It feels far too big for his mouth, and Dude, so loyal and worriedly, lays across his lap to protect him from his own brain as he attempts to sit up.
Jay is there too, because why wouldn’t he be he blearily thinks, trying to get him to lay down, and the girls aren’t there and that’s probably because they’re asleep. And If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all Cruella would say. She was never an expert on these types of things. Jay is saying something softly, how this could happen again, but he says it like a plan, not with the annoyance Cruella had when she talked about his seizures. It comforts him. The patter of rain overpowers him though and the feeling of Dude’s matted fur and dog breath and the tightness of his tongue all stun him. And when he glances down to the blankets on the floor, the blood stain reminds him of Cruella and her planned dots and cigarette burns across her outfits, and of Ben telling him We can figure out what this is. That’s what goodness is for, when he told him about the seizures. How he desperately wanted to tell Ben I will become good, I will become anything if you can make this stop.
Is this part of me evil?
It all matches terribly as he begins to sweat and connect the dots. If Ben found out somehow, his parents would decide there was too much upkeep and worry of villain kids and he would go home with no friends, no goodness, and no medication. There’s a headache forming behind his eyes and his stomach churns as Jay asks him if he’s okay. Of course he’s fucking not. Carlos can barely feel the old wooden bedframe in his hand as he attempts to stand up shakily. He hit his ankle against it and he can feel that and everything else with too much severity. He swears and pulls himself away when Jay tries to lead him to the bathroom.
“I’ve fucking got this, okay!” He yells, vomit partially in his mouth. There are always mixed, intense emotions after a seizure and he will deeply regret yelling at his boyfriend later, but right now all he is focused on is getting the vomit out of his mouth.
Carlos almost lands on the tiled bathroom floor but Jay catches him and all of the movement makes his stomach churn more. It sprays across the floor as Jay gently lays him down on his side, and unfortunately, over Jay’s hands and Carlos’s cheek. And he lays there, in a puddle of his own vomit inches away from the toilet, thinking If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. Carlos tries not to shake as Jay cleans the vomit off of and around them. He gently lifts Carlos’s head up and looks him straight in the eyes as he wipes it off his cheek, humiliating but also caring. Good.
“Talk to me,” Jay says. At some point he outstretched his legs and lays Carlos’s head on his lap. “Talk to me.”
His hands are in his hair and it reminds Carlos of how he’d scratch behind Dude’s ears just right and it’d make his legs jerk out. Not the best time for that. He thinks of the bubble around the Isle instead. On days when the evil in him was worn down and tired, he could feel it around him, always separated from goodness and tied to his mother. Now, there was a bubble strictly tied around him, cutting off words for Jay I’m sorry I can’t control this. Guilt and his mother and epilepsy all bouncing around him.
“Where’s Dude?” is all he can think to say, when he sees Dude is in the doorway watching over them.
“Right there, sweetheart,” Jay points out. “He’s not going to leave you, neither am I.”
From his place on the floor, Carlos can see the still-full hair bleach bottle on the counter and he meets Jay’s hands in his hair.
“Did I finish it?” He asks. God, he’s so tired now, he’s not sure if he can finish it.
“Finish what?”
“The, um,” fuck, he can’t think of the word for hair right now so he twirls his curls around his finger. “that thing.”
But Jay gets it and him.
“No. I think being alone with hair bleach is what caused it in the first place.” Jay tells him.
It will never be embarrassment to Carlos that he can’t fix his brain, but he will always have a terrible guilt, begging for forgiveness, begging to be let out because This can’t go on forever, right? And he had caused it tonight because he saw himself in the mirror with black roots stretching out and Cruella in the back of his mind telling him he will always look like a man he never met. Father is another word he can’t think of tonight.
He had been bleaching his hair since he was six and it grew back bristly and fragile. He was surprised that the curls had stayed but another thing Cruella hadn’t let up on when he got old enough was keeping his hair straight. “Curls are for children,” she had said, tugging at his. “You are a young man.” His mother was not there in Auradon and he had slowly shook off pieces of her. He was beyond pleased with himself when his hair had stopped falling out when Jay brushed it.
Carlos desperately wants to stay in the bathroom, with his head on Jay’s lap because moving is so painful right now, but his breath is becoming heavy and almost panicked; he can’t move even if he wanted to. This again? Cruella would say.
He screams.
His ears ring. Tinnitus is the word for it.
If he could focus hard enough, which he can’t, he could hear Jay’s voice below it, telling him about little things. Doug tripping over the bleachers and into a tourney game, Evie adding pink dye into her potions, Lonnie taking the safety tip off her practice sword and actually stabbing him. His voice is uneven but it goes on with more stories through another one. Soon enough he feels one hand grip the wall and the other Jay as he helps him stands up after a while.
And once again, he is on a bed, but it’s not his- it’s Jay’s. He can tell by the sandalwood cologne spread across the sheets. Jay is next to him but not close enough like he wishes him to be, just enough room for Carlos to seize if it happens again for a -third?- time that night. God, he had been doing so good, why did he have to ruin everything for himself? Why couldn’t he have good things?
“Another one?” Carlos irritably asks.
“Yeah.” Jay confirms, his hand stretched across to hold his.
“In one night. It will never fucking end.” He says, snapping his hand back.
Dude jumps up and parks himself on Jay’s lap. They look at him with their big, brown, stupid eyes. Are they… scared of him? Exhausted of this happening? And once again, there is anger, there is guilt, there is resentment towards himself and every emotion he’s ever had bursting out of his chest, bigger than himself. “There will be something to help,” Jay whispers, close to his ear. “I promise, if I have to steal every medication for you, I will. I will not let you go without help.”
Whatever fight is left in him falls flat when Jay reaches for his hand again. His hand is like flowers for fingers.
“Can you take this part of my brain out?”
“I’m afraid I can’t.”
Carlos knew the answer and rolls himself onto Jay’s chest. Sandalwood, sweat, worry. His hand lands on Carlos’s waist loosely, another tracing lines up and down his neck. He is not scared. He knows Carlos and that this will always be a part of him. Carlos lets out a harsh breath and Jay traces his veins.
“I love you. Please don’t feel bad about something you can’t control.” Jay begs. Carlos blinks his eyes sleepily and prettily at him.
Every time this has happened, shame followed right behind, and every time he could feel it about to happen he could sense the eggshells beneath his feet wobble. Crack. Five years and a lost count of it. Carlos just covers his face in Jay’s chest and lets tears pool on his shirt. I do not want to talk about this anymore. You always terrify me. Cruella would say. It’s over, done with; no more. Jay’s long hair falls across Carlos and it creates a shield, a bubble around them. He says nothing as he cries but his breathing eventually evens out. Comes to.
“You too,” he mumbles his throat dry, reaching for Jay’s face.
He kisses him and although Carlos can’t imagine he looks the most charming at the moment, he doesn’t care. Jay traces his jawline, avoiding the bruises forming, and to his lips, where Carlos kisses his fingertip. Flowers for fingers. Up to his cheeks like he’s making little meadows for his freckles, to his hairline where he roams his hand across Carlos’s sweat-drenched hair, down to the back of his neck, going across his spine. Carlos shivers.
“I’m okay,” he whispers when Jay reaches the middle of his back. It hurts, but that could be from other things.
“I’ll believe it when I see it,” Jay tells him, wrapping his hand around his. “Lay down with me.” Is not a question.
Carlos shoos Dude to the end of the bed and lowers himself next to Jay. They stare at each other for a moment and Carlos realizes Jay had been crying too. He opens his mouth to say something but closes it to kiss his nose instead. Jay’s eyes flutter close but he doesn’t go to sleep. Carlos follows suit until they do fall asleep.
“It’ll be okay,” Ben had said. “Goodness always finds a way.”

Hello, just discovered your blog and have gone through it I hope to not be an illiterate anon, apologies if i am, I'm very tired all the time. Your post appeared on my recommended and I'd like to respond.
If a doctor put a perfectly healthy person on chemotherapy because they walked into their office and said “I think I have cancer” that would be malpractice and the doctor would lose their license.
Let's check this. Quote from transcare https://transcare.ucsf.edu/transition-roadmap: "Requirements for a behavioral health evaluation and preparation in advance of chest and genital surgery, and the use of hormone therapy and presenting full time in one's chosen gender identity for 1 year before genital procedures, unless there is a medical or other reason that prevents meeting these requirements." What that means is kids do not just walk in at the first sight of dysphoria and ask. They've got to be committed to it for a year. What about dysphoria? How does one get diagnosed with it? Quote from mayo clinic https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/gender-dysphoria/symptoms-causes/syc-20475255#(sry if the link doesn't work) :
"Gender dysphoria might cause adolescents and adults to experience a marked difference between inner gender identity and assigned gender that lasts for at least six months."(bold mine) Six months. That's not just walking in and asking, that's again, a long time.
What if they regret it? There's an incredibly high regret rate. They're only kids, we know better than them. Well, those figures might have been exaggerated a little. Quote from transeqality "This study ( https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanchi/article/PIIS2352-4642(22)00254-1/fulltext ) found that 98% of youths prescribed puberty blockers went on to be prescribed hormone replacement therapy after turning 18." That means that 98 percent of kids knew they were trans and correct about it.

Referral letters are required for a surgery. If a surgeon had a person who looked perfectly healthy come into their office and say "I have cancer, here's my proof of living in pain for 6 months, here's my proof of taking medicine, telling people I have cancer, my proof of going to support groups for my cancer, my cancer screenings, a signed letter from a specialist saying I have cancer, and one more for good measure." then the surgeon would get them surgery immediately because they do not specialise in cancer diagnosis. Yet this same thing happens for trans people all over the world where they're denied surgery by transphobic doctors.
Hi thanks for your thoughtful response. I have to disagree, though.
I have a couple of issues with your first point about surgeries and hormone therapy. First, one year is not that long to wait, especially if the person is a minor (and frankly this not should not even be an option for minors at all). If a perfectly healthy person walks into a doctor's office and says they have cancer and the doctor, instead of testing them for cancer, says "come back in a year and if you still feel that way we'll start chemotherapy" that's still malpractice.
Also, I would encourage you to listen to the testimonies of detransitioners because these "requirements" aren't always adhered to. One woman I was listening to who underwent transition as a minor said the first medical intervention she ever received was a double mastectomy.
And I wasn't just referring to surgeries and hormone replacement therapy with that post; I was also talking about puberty blockers. And if you consider Mayo Clinic a reliable source, this is what they list as the requirements for getting on puberty blockers.
In most cases, to begin using puberty blockers, an individual needs to:
Show a lasting pattern of gender nonconformity or gender dysphoria.
Have gender dysphoria that began or worsened at the start of puberty.
Address any psychological, medical or social problems that could interfere with the treatment.
Be able to understand the treatment and agree to have it. This is called informed consent.
This could all be accomplished in a single visit and just requires the doctor to ask a few questions.
"Gender dysphoria might cause adolescents and adults to experience a marked difference between inner gender identity and assigned gender that lasts for at least six months."(bold mine) Six months. That's not just walking in and asking, that's again, a long time.
No, six months is not a long time before diagnosing a severe mental illness where the next steps are essentially permanently altering your body.
And, mind you, this does not mean they have to be observed by a doctor for at least six months. It means it has to have been established that they have felt that way for at least six months. Meaning, a little boy can walk in and essentially the following exchange can take place:
Boy: I'm a girl
Doctor: How long have you felt that way?
Boy: About six months.
Doctor: Ok. I am diagnosing you with gender dysphoria.
Again, it can be diagnosed in a single visit. And btw, people can go through phases that last much longer than six months. That is nowhere near enough time to diagnose someone, especially a child, who is living in an environment where there gender confusion is being affirmed by the people around them, with gender dysphoria.

Ok so there's some important information being left out here and it's information that shows this study can't be really be a credible source of information for the rate of regret and it doesn't show that 98% of kids "knew they were trans and were correct about it."
First of all, the sample size of this study was only 720. Not that big. Most importantly, at the start of the treatment they were following the median age for boys was 14 and the median age for girls was 16. When they concluded the study the median age of boys was 20 and the median age of girls was 19 so this was only measured for about four or five years and can't be taken seriously as evidence of anything. Certainly not evidence that "98% of kids don't regret transitioning and know they are trans and are correct about it." That study is hardly long enough to show that children still consider themselves trans once they are adults.
This study, published in 2022, looked at a sample of about 1,000 individuals and found that the 4 year continuation rate of gender affirming hormone treatment is around 70%, which means the detransition rate is 30%. Not 1-2% like you suggest.
This study, while not a study on how many people detransition, looks at a number of people who have detransitioned (237, so not a lot) and reasons why they detransitioned. Here is a chart from the study showing that the main reason for detransitioning (70%) was realizing their gender dysphoria was related to other issues.
It's also worth noting that 45% of the people didn't feel "properly informed about the health implications of the accessed treatments and interventions before undergoing them."
This study also indicates that, at least for the detransitioners sampled, their detransitions happened approximately five years after they started their transition, which, interestingly, is right about the point of time the study you linked stops.

This study was mostly following people who started transitioning when they were already adults and remember we're talking about kids here. And I don't know where you got the idea that "there were no cases of regret among those who received care before the age of 18" because I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the link you provided or the study itself. What I did see them mention was about 40% of the adolescents they evaluated started puberty blockers and then several stopped taking them without getting any further treatment.

I do care about children, but I don't trust the Trevor project. They are an activist organization and are only going to publish things that affirm their narrative, whether it's true or false. I suggest you look at data from both sides before taking the Trevor project at their word.
For example, I came across a paper that found an interesting phenomenon in the youth suicide rate.
In the past several years, the suicide rate among those ages 12 to 23 has become significantly higher in states that have a provision that allows minors to receive routine health care without parental consent than in states without such a provision. Before 2010, these two groups of states did not differ in their youth suicide rates. Starting in 2010, when puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones became widely available, elevated suicide rates in states where minors can more easily access those medical interventions became observable.
Rather than being protective against suicide, this pattern indicates that easier access by minors to cross-sex medical interventions without parental consent is associated with higher risk of suicide.
This suggests that the Trevor project is not entirely accurate and the suicide rate among youth tragically rose after having access to "gender affirming care."

So you mean the doctor has to have substantial evidence that someone has cancer before treating them? Like a screening? As opposed to simply confirming that they've felt that way for a long time?
And I'm sorry but using the phrase "transphobic doctors" takes credibility away from your entire message. This is why transphobic doesn't mean anything anymore. You just use it to refer to anyone who thinks gender dysphoria needs to be determined by more than someone simply saying they feel like the opposite sex and have for a long time. It's not "transphobic" for a doctor to determine a person doesn't need a sex change surgery. Doctors are there to observe and treat people's physical and mental health, not affirm their feelings. And it's incredibly petty and disingenuous to refer to a doctor who denies someone a surgery after they have supposedly gone through all the requirements you said had to be met that they are transphobic.
So let me ask you, if all those requirements for surgery aren't met and the person is denied the surgery how is the doctor transphobic? You assure me that all these strict requirements must be met before people surgically transition so it's not just happening to anyone who walks in but at the same time if anyone who wants the surgery doesn't qualify then the doctor is transphobic. You're not being consistent.
There are two sides to every story. Make sure you're not just looking at one.

Hello.
On this blog I am battling my dissociation. I've found that without a consistent "job" of sorts I will let myself go. So in order to motivate myself to get out of bed I will take and edit photos of my backyard or other places I've been and post them here. My goal is to do this everyday.
I shoot on an IPhone 14 Pro, and I edit in Pixlr and Ibis Paint.
I will not sell my photos. I'm doing this for fun, and sometimes you can't monetize that.

Sycamore's old boss had a laundry list of books and intel from other mediums the univeristy was tasking him to find, lots of them dangerous in the hands of soulless r&d dickheads.
Every book on the list has been hotly contested. That's why we hired Big Red. Syc sends her out to get the most dangerous grabs, and a bunch of the rest of us for the less hot items.
I'm after, well, less of a book than a scroll, technically, but apparently it's a big one, and it's in somone's possession already. Syc said that, "[I] know how to ask the right questions, and won't get as many people killed." I have a few plans on how to stick to these guidelines.

Envisioning a scenario where one day AZ shows up in Sycamore's office and he's like "Augustine. I have...... a question....... for you." and Syc is like O: . And AZ is like "Now, this is a purely hypothetical scenario... but if I were seeing a woman right now... and I wished to purchase her a gift.... what do you think would be the appropriate option?" Sycamore is like "Ah— !" (trying really hard not to act shocked) "Well... what kinds of things does this hypothetical woman like?" As they're talking Syna & Dexio overhear and decide to join in... and eventually Syna asks "Does this hypothetical fancy lady enjoy perfumes?" which leads to AZ saying "Yes... recently she has been wearing a perfume that smells of fresh roseli berries.... ^/////^ I mean. hypothetically she would be. if she was real. which she isn't. .........I have to go." and then he runs off. (after he leaves Syc Syna and Dexio are all like "I want to know who it is so goddamn bad...................")
And then a few hours later Nerine stops by to visit Sycamore (she's like "Auggie!!! I haven't seen you in ages! How are you? ^.^") and Sycamore notices she's wearing a roseli berry perfume... but it HAS to be a coincidence, right...?

PI’ve mentioned before that I work in a homeless shelter, that I generally really like the women here and think they get a bum deal from life and it’s good to assist them, etc. most of them are kind and friendly people, though I do notice they tend to be stressed and can get angry or fight at times. Maybe mental health, maybe just being in shelter absolutely sucks, I dunno, I don’t really blame them though of course I try to persuade them to find solutions that don’t disrupt or endanger others or themselves.
So I wanted to bring this up just because… I think people realize that people like this exist, but don’t always have people like this in mind when they talk about systems they dislike.
R has a history of incarceration, I don’t know what for much less have opinions on whether it’s deserved. But I know about it because when she met with me she was calling them to get medical records, as she suffered lasting/disabling injuries in a car accident some years back. She was very rude to them, insisting that they should have the records when they said they weren’t sure how old the records might be and getting belligerent when they recommended she come back in for a new initial appointment since they couldn’t find anything.
After about I don’t know a month of not coming back in, she came back to see me, demanding that she have several pillows to sleep. I let her know that the usual procedure of someone needs special bedding is to see the doctors who visit here twice weekly and have them sign paperwork attesting to the need, and that she could do that in the morning. If it’s approved, which it probably will be in a matter of days, then she can bring however many pillows it says. (I wrote four, after asking repeatedly which limbs and joints were affected so I could argue she needs to support each.)
She didn’t like that, but she can’t go to see her GP sooner so she agreed to do that. I filled out the paperwork for her and marked specifically where she needed a doc to sign. Told her 9am, that I have afternoon Saturday shifts and she could drop it by as soon as I get in and I’d send it on immediately. Etc.
Well. 1am rolls around (I happened to be awake and getting into bed) and one of the security staff says in chat that R told her her accommodation was approved and that she can bring in a whole set of sheets and wash them herself. My boss, not having looked in the notes from 8pm, was like “she needs to go see Fierce about that first.”
Argh.
…My point is not “this person went behind my back so she deserves punishment grrrrrr grrrrr.”
She did go behind my back, and that’s annoying, but I clearly explained and the súper has my back. It’s fine.
But my point/question is: how does the new system handle stuff like this, where people don’t really appear to rethink this kind of behavior? Do we just shrug and take it, or is there a point at which we punish it, just so that consequences happen?
That’s the thing I feel like people are persistently not addressing. That some people really do seem to have a pattern of acting this way, and it’s not clear that being patient or friendly to them is likely to convince them to stop. At least not unless you’re unfailingly kind for syc( a length of time they really stop and think.
Which is time not everyone actually has.

I really need some help...
I have periods of time (could be from 1 minute to over a day) where I either feel like I'm not real, everything else isn't real, or both. At first it was every once in a while, but now it's gotten a lot more frequent, to the point where it makes it difficult for me to do anything. It's really bad, and I can't even look at the sky anymore without feeling like I'm going to throw up. For a while, it was manageable, but now whenever I look at an object I feel like something's off; it's either too detailed or not detailed enough, a slight shade different than it "should" be, doesn't look like how I remember it to be, etc. I think it's going to keep on getting worse, because earlier today I couldn't even look at my reflection. There's just a voice in my head now that tells me that nothing is real. I don't even feel like I am actually in my body, I have a constant headache all the time, and I can barely remember my name. I think this started happening because I've consumed so much media (for example, books, webtoons, TV series, movies, sometimes even daydreaming), but now the only way for me to get my mind off of feeling like nothing exists is to consume more media, which then furthers the problem. I really don't want to be alive anymore because my brain just hurts all the time. Any suggestions on how I could try to fix this?

Gender Confusion, Science, and Scripture
The British Medical Journal reports that there is an increase in "gender dysphoria" "in young people." According to the Mayo Clinic, what is gender dysphoria? Is gender confusion physical or is there a psychological component associated with it? Does research suggest that most young people with it will to grow out of it? Is what are called "gender-affirming treatments" the right answer? Has it been reported that Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare determined that the risks of puberty blockers and treatment with hormones “currently outweigh the possible benefits” for minors? Did researchers at the University of Florida find that 81% of those who had undergone sex change surgeries in the past five years reported experiencing pain simply from normal movement in the weeks and months that followed? What about the effects of gender altering surgeries on fertility and libido? Have researchers concluded that there are often psychological comorbidities strongly associated with gender confusion? Do studies show that “gender-reassignment” treatments reduces suicides? Do males who undergo surgical genitalia removal have a highly increased suicide rate according to a peer-reviewed study published in The Journal of Urology? Yet, many now claim that the way to deal with this is to give hormone blockers and/or genitalia mutilating surgeries, which they call “gender affirming treatment,” is the answer.

15 Year Study: Vast Majority Of Children Grow Out Of Gender Confusion

A landmark study conducted over the past 15 years has concluded that most children who experience confusion regarding their gender identity grow out of it and go on to feel content with their lives as men and women.
The study, carried out in the Netherlands by researchers from the University of Groningen, involved more than 2,700 children, tracking them from age 11 to their mid-twenties.
The Daily Mail reports that every three years, the individuals were asked how they felt about their gender.
At the beginning of the study, around 11 percent, or one in ten of the children, expressed ‘gender non-contentedness’.
However, by the age of 25, just 4 percent, or one in 25, said they ‘often’ or ‘sometimes’ felt discontent with their gender.
The study comes as the controversy over allowing children to be given puberty blocking hormones, or even gender reassignment surgery, rages on.
The researchers noted, “The results of the current study might help adolescents to realise that it is normal to have some doubts about one’s identity and one’s gender identity during this age period and that this is also relatively common.”

Adolescence is an important period for the development of gender identity. We studied the development of gender non-contentedness, i.e., unhappiness with being the gender aligned with one’s sex, from early adolescence to young adulthood, and its association with self-concept, behavioral and emotional problems, and adult sexual orientation. Participants were 2772 adolescents (53% male) from the Tracking Adolescents’ Individual Lives Survey population and clinical cohort. Data from six waves were included (ages 11–26). Gender non-contentedness was assessed with the item “I wish to be of the opposite sex” from the Youth and Adult Self-Report at all six waves. Behavioral and emotional problems were measured by total scores of these scales at all six waves. Self-concept was assessed at age 11 using the Global Self-Worth and Physical Appearance subscales of the Self-Perception Profile for Children. Sexual orientation was assessed at age 22 by self-report. In early adolescence, 11% of participants reported gender non-contentedness. The prevalence decreased with age and was 4% at the last follow-up (around age 26). Three developmental trajectories of gender non-contentedness were identified: no gender non-contentedness (78%), decreasing gender non-contentedness (19%), and increasing gender non-contentedness (2%). Individuals with an increasing gender non-contentedness more often were female and both an increasing and decreasing trajectory were associated with a lower global self-worth, more behavioral and emotional problems, and a non-heterosexual sexual orientation. Gender non-contentedness, while being relatively common during early adolescence, in general decreases with age and appears to be associated with a poorer self-concept and mental health throughout development. So, most with what is called gender dysphoria will tend to grow out of it.
That points to gender dysphoria basically being a psychological or mental health issue.
That has long been known. A scientific study in Iran found mental issues with the transgendered:
Abstract
Background: Co-morbid psychiatric disorders affect prognosis, psychosocial adjustment and post-surgery satisfaction in patients with gender identity disorder. In this paper, we assessed the frequency of personality disorders in Iranian GID patients.
Methods: Seventy- three patients requesting sex reassignment surgery (SRS) were recruited for this crosssectional study. Of the participants, 57.5% were biologically male and 42.5% were biologically female. They were assessed through the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory II (MCMI- II).
Results: The frequency of personality disorders was 81.4%. The most frequent personality disorder was narcissistic personality disorder (57.1%) and the least was borderline personality disorder. The average number of diagnoses was 3.00 per patient.
Conclusion: The findings of this study revealed that the prevalence of personality disorders was higher among the participants, and the most frequent personality disorder was narcissistic personality disorder (57.1%), and borderline personality disorder was less common among the studied patients. … Personality disorders are common in patients with Gender Identity Disorder who are candidates for sex reassignment. As a result, the assessment of Personality disorders before sex reassignment surgery and offering psychological and medical intervention care, if needed, is strongly suggested. Before someone dismisses that study because it came from Iran, notice that it is up at the NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) website, which is an official US government site that, according to the NCBI, it “advances science and health by providing access to biomedical and genomic information.” The fact is that transgenderism is not good and is something to repent of.
Consider also the following from the BMJ:
More children and adolescents are identifying as transgender and offered medical treatment, especially in the US. But some providers and European authorities are urging caution because of a lack of strong evidence. …
Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare, which sets guidelines for care, determined earlier this year that the risks of puberty blockers and treatment with hormones “currently outweigh the possible benefits” for minors.
And NHS England, which is in the midst of an independent review of gender identity services, recently stated that there is “scarce and inconclusive evidence to support clinical decision-making” for minors with gender dysphoria, and that for most who present before puberty it will be a “transient phase,” requiring clinicians to focus on psychological support and to be “mindful” of the risks of even social transition. So, there is concern that there is lack of real evidence transgender medical treatments are helpful.
But what about those who actually got sex change operations? Aren’t they better off?

Let me add that I read reports of males who had their genitals removed and replaced with constructed vaginas and were surprised and disappointed that their libido was basically gone. Well, history has shown that castration does that, so that is something all should have known for a very long time.
But what about reducing suicides of those claiming gender dysphoria?

“Would you rather have a living son or dead daughter?” This question, often asked marketing-style of parents whose child desires so-called gender reassignment procedures, is not just unethical, says the leader of a groundbreaking new study on sexually confused youths.
It is also, says psychiatrist Dr. Riittakerttu Kaltiala, “not based on facts.”
For in reality, administering sexual-distortion treatments (SDTs, aka “gender-reassignment” treatments) does not lower sexually confused youths’ suicide rate.
This is not just because you can’t actually changes sexes, but only become a simulacrum of the opposite one. It’s also because any tendency toward suicide — and sexually confused youths’ suicide rate is only marginally higher than that of average-age mates — is caused by their having psychiatric issues, and not necessarily their sexual confusion, per se.
Making these findings even more compelling is that Dr. Kaltiala actually helped pioneer Made-up Sexual Status (MUSS, aka “transgender”) “medicine” in Finland, but looked at its results and finally concluded that such treatments were not beneficial.

Dramatic claims of the risk of attempted suicide among trans-identifying youth are typically based on low-quality anonymous online self-report surveys with no follow-up checks, potential exaggeration driven by a constant “transition or suicide” narrative, and “convenience samples” unlikely to be representative.
The new Finnish study vindicates that country’s 2020 adoption of a more cautious treatment policy which first targets psychiatric, social and educational problems among gender-distressed youth before any assumption of a stable trans identity justifying “experimental” affirmation with hormones or surgery.
“It is of utmost importance to identify and appropriately treat mental disorders in adolescents experiencing gender dysphoria to prevent suicide; in addition, health policies need to ensure that accurate information is provided to professionals along these lines,” the researchers say in their BMJ Mental Health paper.
As for the underlying “psychiatric problems” factor with MUSS youths, alarms about it have been sounded before. Consider ex-MUSS clinic worker and whistleblower Jamie Reed, who describes herself as a “queer” woman married to a “transman” and “politically to the left of Bernie Sanders.”
“The girls who came to us [at the clinic] had many comorbidities: depression, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, obesity,” she wrote last year at The Free Press. “Many were diagnosed with autism, or had autism-like symptoms. Rates of attempted suicide who identified as transgender more than doubled after receiving a vaginoplasty (surgically turning one’s dick into a vagina), according to a peer-reviewed study published in The Journal of Urology.
The study looked at rates of psychiatric emergencies both before and after gender-altering surgery among 869 males who went under the knife, and 357 females who underwent phalloplasty (turning one’s vagina into a dick) in California between 2012 and 2018. …
According to the study, 33.9% of biological males undergoing vaginopasty would experience a post-surgery psychiatric encounter vs. 26.5% for biological women who underwent phalloplasty, if an episode had occurred before surgery.

Suicide Rate 19-Fold Higher
In an interview with The Epoch Times, Dr. Alfonso Oliva, a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, said research into the psychiatric outcomes and long-term follow-up of those who have sex-reassignment surgery is lacking, but an important paper is worth mentioning. In a 2011 paper published in PLOS ONE, researchers found that people who underwent sex reassignment surgery had substantially higher rates of overall mortality, suicidal behavior, and psychiatric morbidity compared with the general population.
“It’s hard to refute this paper because it’s a longitudinal study,” Dr. Oliva said. “In Sweden, everyone is in a database, and through diagnosis codes, they’re able to follow what happens to every citizen in terms of their medical history. They waited more than 10 years after people had surgery and found that death by suicide had an adjusted hazard ratio of 19.1.” …
The recovery process is extensive and vaginal dilation must be performed at varying intervals throughout the patient’s life.
Vaginoplasty Associated With Serious Risks
In addition to an increased risk of suicide, vaginoplasty is associated with numerous physical complications, including wound separation, vaginal stenosis, hematoma, rectovaginal fistulas, granulation tissue, bleeding, infection, skin or clitoral necrosis, suture line dehiscence (when the surgical incision opens), urinary retention or vaginal prolapse.
According to a 2021 paper in the International Brazilian Journal of Urology, a rectovaginal fistula is the “most devastating complication” of a vaginoplasty that can occur “despite careful technique” and without obvious injury to the rectum.
A rectovaginal fistula is an abnormal connection between the rectum and vagina that can cause fecal incontinence, hygiene issues, vaginal or anal irritation, and potentially life-threatening abscesses and fistula recurrence.
A 2021 review in Andrology found that rates of complications following penile inversion vaginoplasty ranged from 20 to 70 percent, with most of the complications occurring during the first four months following the procedure. …
Dr. Oliva said complications with these surgical procedures are very high and he thinks this is why suicide rates are so high.

All of the gametes in the mother’s eggs possess X chromosomes. The father’s sperm contains about half X and half Y chromosomes. The sperm are the variable factor in determining the sex of the baby. If the sperm carries an X chromosome, it will combine with the egg’s X chromosome to form a female zygote. The LGBTQ crowd pushes not only transgenderism, but the idea that gender is fluid. The idea that you can be something one day, then another gender another day.
No matter what hormones one takes, no matter how much surgery one has, people born male have XY chromosomes and people born female XX chromosomes.
Yet, men and women are different. While one of the differences is genitalia, there are more differences than that. But one’s chromosomes never change–nor does cross-dressing change the truth. Plus, that is condemned by scripture:
5 A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)
The Bible clearly condemns cross-dressing. It does not consider it to be harmless or to be helpful.

A biological male can take hormones, surgically alter his body and identify as “female,” but the procedures still won’t make him a woman, according to new evidence found by Israeli researchers.
That’s because there are at least 6,500 genes that contain sex-specific instructions for males and females.
For the study by Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science, professor Shmuel Pietrokovski and Dr. Moran Gershoni, both researchers from the institute’s Molecular Genetics Department, “looked closely at around 20,000 protein-coding genes, sorting them by sex and searching for differences in expression in each tissue. They eventually identified around 6,500 genes with activity that was biased toward one sex or the other in at least one tissue, adding to the already major biological differences between men and women.” …
The new findings are further evidence that biological males cannot simply “transition” into females and vice versa, argues Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel.
“This recent study from Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science further proves that you cannot fool Mother Nature,” Staver said. “The saying, ‘I think, therefore, I am’ is best left to philosophy and not science. Gender confusion is mental, not physical or biological. God made male and female, and no amount of protestation will change the natural created order.”
Staver called the idea that a person can choose his or her gender “fiction.”

So-called “gender affirming” treatments –which really oppose, not affirm, natural human biology do not change many biological facts.

But scientists who did brain scans of 118 foetuses in the second half of pregnancy to analyse the links between gender and the connectivity of a developing brain believe the differences are biological. …

While I do not think that this is necessarily “a scientific first” (as others noted brain development differences between male and female brains in utero), it is at least additional proof that boys and girls are biologically different in a way that is not clearly visually seen.
Since this study involved the unborn, it also helps negate the false narrative that ‘gender’ is not biological, but the result of societal environmental factors.
Of course, many ‘moderns’ want to act like there is no difference, but the Bible is clear that men and women are different. God warned that there would be those “who suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). But the truth is still the truth.
The Bible also condemns males acting effeminate:
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, KJV)
Transgenderism is against scripture.
As far as biology goes, Jesus taught the truth about biological sex:
4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:4-6)

The Bible warns against the rise of despisers of good in the last days:

Woe to those that do such things.

Gender Confusion, Science, and Scripture
The British Medical Journal reports that there is an increase in “gender dysphoria” “in young people.” According to the Mayo Clinic, what is gender dysphoria? Is gender confusion physical or is there a psychological component associated with it? Does research suggest that most young people with it will to grow out of it? Is what are called “gender-affirming treatments” the right answer? Has it been reported that Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare determined that the risks of puberty blockers and treatment with hormones “currently outweigh the possible benefits” for minors? Did researchers at the University of Florida find that 81% of those who had undergone sex change surgeries in the past five years reported experiencing pain simply from normal movement in the weeks and months that followed? What about the effects of gender altering surgeries on fertility and libido? Have researchers concluded that there are often psychological comorbidities strongly associated with gender confusion? Do studies show that “gender-reassignment” treatments reduces suicides? Do males who undergo surgerical genitalia removal have a highly increased suicide rate according to a peer-reviewed study published in The Journal of Urology? What are some of the side effect associated with “gender-reassignment” treatments? Does the Bible condone or condemn cross dressing? What did Jesus say about God making males and females? Can gender be determined by looking at XX and XY chromosomes? Are there 6500 genetic differences between males and females? Idly Confession; How it Begin.
I know it’s been difficult for you, and it makes me sad that you don’t see yourself the way I do. I wrote this casually (I treated this a my journal but it's about you). You might or might not curious about how my eyes saw you at first; but here, let me show you the approx. 3 years untold thought.
I still remember our very first met (is it? I kinda get mixed up), is it Peace Walk? When we randomly dragged by a random guy who asked us to be captured for their campaign? Yes, you caught my eyes from the start. You, through my lens, was a very smiley tall person - and obviously, very friendly. You greeted me with your huge HUGE smile and I remember how you grip my hands, kekencengan bang.. But, I'm sorry guess 1 hour later I forgot your name...
The second was Social Canteen? The Welcoming Party one when the attire was white? You intended to greet Ariska only, if I'm not mistaken. But we happened to meet again - and you remember me! ME, TOO, AS WELL, remember you but as a person, not your name. Hence, for the second time, kita kenalan lagi lol I'm so sorry? We happened to ate on the same table and idk I started to observe you from that. Lucu banget, kamu lucu from the start, Acil.
Third one, SYC; the iconic one. To be very honest, from what I remember, I didn't notice your existence at all (I'm deeply sorry about this) until the last day of SYC and that's pretty questionable and concerning on how I didn't aware with my surroundings. Well, a lesson learned. Right before our name called, I told Ariska "anjir jelek banget tu gombalannya gw merinding,, siapa orang tidak beruntung itu" TAUNYA GW dan elu. And at that point, I totally remembered you - "oh, ini kan the one from peace walk that I like.. dia ikut SYC juga? since when?" my head went blank; full of "lah sejak kapan dia join SYC" hence I couldn't function properly at that time - if you remember. But thank you, for asking me to took a photo together. You don't know how delighted actually I am.
Time flew, we grew as acquaintance. I was still having a big curiosity on you, and was hoping someday we have a chance to talk.
And,
Heard a great news from you, I was very happy for you, genuinely. Therefore, I put the curiosity aside, I put the adoration towards you aside, I put all the inappropriate feelings I felt that time aside.
I forgot the details when we talk in TD Clinic, or the synergize we had in our manager time (I erase all of the memories happened in my Khansa's victim era), so, allow me to let this slide.
April, 2023. And you didn't change a bit. You are still you, the smiling friendly sunshine talkative humble tall person I met on Peace Walk. I said this before but let me say this for the 3rd time; thank you for carrying the conversation. I didn't have any single idea crossed in my head that we will go out for the second time, or even for the 9357928347 time. Nothing crossed in my head as well that we will gonna exchange 'hi' and converse literally everyday. Things went in an unexpected way and I'm grateful that I finally have a chance to get to know you. Although, the fact, you're more than your facade, you're more than 'the smiling friendly sunshine talkative humble tall person I met on Peace Walk' - and it piques my interest.
I.. don't know since when I realize that I still left my likings and adoration towards you, I totally have no idea, really. I thought it's all completely over. I know, this is cruel, but it's inevitable. I know I shouldn't feeling like this at the first place but I am, feeling like this. I blame myself tons of times but it didn't get any better as well. It grows, and still growing up until this second.
Remember that I told you several times; terima kasih untuk ruang berpendapatnya. I really meant it. It suffocates me whenever I miss you but I couldn't tell you. It suffocates me when I have a lot of loves but I couldn't express it to you.
Thank you, for everything that unexpectedly happened. I'm sorry, for the selfishness that exist within me. And I sincerely ask for your apology, for everything that probably messed up because of me.
Thank you for being a person and letting me to feel these kind of emotions; the joy, the excited feeling, the happiness, the sadness, the pain. I appreciate and I cherish them all, as much as I cherish you. So, I hope you won't put the excessive worries on me.
