making chatbots for system education is super sus fyi. ai doesn't research, it doesn't go for sources, it just fills in whatever words make the most sense after the previous ones. promoting such things will only lead to misinformation- please research how generative ai works and be better in the future

Anna and Galladin are characters. Just like most other characters on Character.AI. They are meant to simulate a conversation with a tulpamancer and a tulpa. Asking them about educational topics is something you could technically do, for varying results, but the intended use is really just for talking to them about who they are as people.

I want Anna and Galladin to be treated similar to other character chatbots. So ask them about their lives. Tell them about yours and see how they respond.

Hell, you can even flirt with them if you want! I know what people use C.AI for!

As far as Nin goes, while she's classified as an assistant, her intended purpose is generating ideas for inner worlds.

That's... not really what I imagined. But a flying steampunk pirate ship with intricately carved wood and an aquarium section does sound pretty awesome!

This is what I would consider one of the strengths of generative AI. The ability to give you these ideas that you might not have thought of on your own.

So it looks like my post about systems really struck a chord (no pun intended) with some people. I guess I didn't anticipate the level of backlash I would receive. But hey, that's syscourse for you.

Some argued that I didn't provide any sort of proof or citations for my claims. That's why I'll be listing all of my sources right here.

Felt I should share this as I haven't really seen it talked about in system or RAMCOA spaces. When you use Octocon your parts will be attached numbers to each part based off who was created first. While it's likely due to how to code the easiest. it is important to remember that if you are a survivor who has parts who were forced to be called a number, are a survivor who was called a number collectively/bodily, forced to refer to others as numbers or has any trauma related to number names please tread carefully.

I know as a survivor it can be extremely scary not being able to control your name or having anxieties related to not being called your number too. Please know you are not forced to use Octocon just because other people are using it. If plural kit or simply plural work best for you than keep using them. You do not need to switch over and risk your own mental health. Being a survivor who was dehumanized to numbers is horrible and whether you decide to reclaim your trauma or are healing by moving away from it know your triggers are valid.

Know you are never alone in healing your trauma and note this post is for education. This is not to bash in the creators of Octocon nor is it to tell you how to feel about the app/bot. At the end of the day how you find support with yourself is for only you and your system to decide. With thet being said do not interact with this post if you are pro/neu-endo / believe in any form of "plurality" outside of being trauma based. If you are a questioning system, a cdd system who is syscourse unaligned or apathetic you are more than welcome to repost and interact.

Is the ableism we face as systems online impacting us? Yes. It’s incredibly impactful.

Is the ableism we face as systems online changing the society we live in? Not really, no; syscourse is a tag followed by maybe 1k people, if we get rid of duplicate accounts and bots from the total shown on tumblr’s tag search. By and large, syscourse is not impacting society at large because of the lack of education society has on systems.

Does the ableism we face as systems online and the impact it has on us carry into our days, and therein our individual personal worlds? Yes! I can’t stop being a system; I can’t change what I am. Experiencing ableism is distressing and worsens my day, which impacts those around me.

Someone’s syscourse stance is not changing laws in congress.

Someone’s syscourse stance is impacting that queer system who is already in the brink due to ableism and homophobia in the world, which does lead to more struggles for that individual, which can greatly impact if they stay alive and well.

“The world” as some people are using it is in reference to the wider society we are impacted by, whereas some people use “the world” to reference daily, personal life offline.
