Keigo’s observant, he’ll be one of the first to spot when your depression is eating at you, especially since he knows how it feels to be so low.

He always feels so guilty having to leave you alone when he has patrol duty or is sent on missions, so he will send a feather your way to soothe you, letting you know he’s always thinking of you.

You’ll find a couple of sticky notes on your fridge with little reminders too; telling you to drink water, that he made or got your favourite food and it's in the fridge waiting for you, that he loves you.

When Keigo’s with you, he’s not overbearing or pushy. He takes things at your pace, wanting you to be as comfortable as you can with your head being so loud. He’ll hold you close and let you rest with him, if you were hungry he’d help you walk to the kitchen and prepare some food together. He’d pepper you with kisses constantly, your cheeks were never safe from the doting bird’s comfort.

Keigo loves you, and he’s gonna let you know it. He knows depression is scary, it’s all-consuming. He knows that patience is key, and he’d never be mad at you for struggling; you’re in education and struggling to attend classes? He’s gonna keep you safe and help you catch up and revise any material you missed. You haven’t kept up to your personal hygiene? Not a problem, he completely understands as he carries you to the bathroom and gently washes your hair, warm water and your favourite scented shampoo as he massages your scalp as though it was fragile pottery.

If you ever struggled to get out of bed, Keigo wouldn’t hesitate to hold you under your covers for as long as you needed, his wings providing that little bit of extra warmth and comfort. He’ll whisper little affirmations to you and kiss your face gently, slowly. your plump lips pulled into a frown, staring at the poptart inside of the microwave as it spinned around and around, your thoughts racing and you started to space out.

"It's kinda late to be eating that." a honeyed voice said from behind you.

your body jerked forward before you kissed your teeth, looking over your shoulder at the blonde who wore a coy smile on his lips. you took your time to really look at him, the way his red wings seemed to glow under the blinding dim light of the kitchen, his hair was ruffled like he had been running his hand through it. but then again it always looked like that. his narrowed golden eyes seemed to shine even with the bags that dragged them down, a physical sign that he hasn't been getting proper sleep, his pretty pink lips, with his bottom lip being bigger than his top, making him seem like he was pouting sometimes. your eyes then dragged to the new scars that adorned his face, they stood out but still made him look beautiful. he wore wife beaters with a black compressed shirt, his hands shoved into his pocket and you watched as he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, the veins in them bulging at the movement, returning your stare.

giving him a quick glare to disguise you checking him out you turn back to the microwave trying your best to ignore him. Keigo watched you, a frown making it's way unto his face. he could tell something was up. he straightened up making sure to walk loudly so you knew he was walking up to you, watching as you tense and try your hardest to ignore him.

"what's wrong?" you don't aswer him shuddering at the warmth that suddenly overcomes you as he stands behind you. through your side eye you can see him bringing up his arm to rest right where your hips meet the counter having you trapped, his actions has your chest rising and falling fastly, not being able to keep up your facade as you spin around to fix him with a sharp look.

"you're fucking stupid." he has the audacity to hum at you which has your gaze sharpening. "Tokoyami was worried, he almost cried."

Keigo bites his lip to fight back a laugh mentally imagining the bird boy crying along with his dark shadow, the slap you deliver to his chest has him clearing his throat but a grin is still present on his lips. sucking your teeth, you cross your arms over your chest looking down at your feet while shaking your head. "i despise you." you whisper to him, afraid your voice will crack if you talk any louder. you head the blonde sigh, cupping your face and pulling it up so he can see it clearly, wiping the tears had begun to fall from them and rubbing his tumb over your pretty plump lips, feeling how plush and soft they felt. he kisses you softly, almost like he's afraid to break you giving your brown lips a gentle nip before pulling away tucking your bonnet behind your ears and smiling at the snort you let out.

"you know im never leaving you right?" he says, not whispering but saying it gentle enough that anyone would think otherwise. a sigh fell from your lips as you closed your eyes with a nod, you could feel more tears coming as keigo cooed at you kissing your cheeks and rubbing them with his thumb trying his best to comfort you.

almost losing him was so scary. the way he was unmoving in the bandages at the hospital had you thinking you were never getting him back. you couldn't look at him without bursting out in tears, and you hated him for making himself get hurt like that. every night you would wake up and lay your head on his chest, just to hear his heartbeat in fear of losing him.

you couldn't lose him.

"look at me, hey, look at me." he says, voice gentle and comforting and you're opening your eyes breathing shakily as you look at him. "keigo, I can't loose you."

he nods in understanding, bringing his hands to your hips to rub circles in them. "I know, baby. you wont." you bring your head down to rest against his chest, sighing as he rests his against the top of your head. "you made my poptart get cold."

chuckling, he moves to kiss the top of your head and you feel how his chest vibrates with his laugh, a smile pulling at your lips as you can feel his heartbeating. "well, you shouldn't be eating that shit so late anyway."

Part 1

It’s been two months since Hawks was out of the hospital. He knows something wasn’t right. Some things just didn’t make sense. Vivian, his ‘love’ just chalks it up to him being fuzzy because of his memory lost. He loves her right? Hawks felt something about her just didn’t seem right. He started noticing your absence, sure he didn’t know what he thought was missing was you but he could tell something was wrong. Going back to his apartment he felt like there was always something that is missing. Like his home wasn’t his home or how he would feel like he wasn’t complete despite having Vivian by his side. So he started distantly himself from her. Vivian tried to get more attention form him but he brushed her off saying he was busy.

He went back to hospital to check out what was that feeling of emptiness and if that was normally for someone who’s missing some of there memories.

“Well everything looks fine, Hawks. Side form your memories not completely back you are as healthy as a dime.”

“It’s weird tho. It’s like something is missing and I just can’t put my finger on it.”

“Well my guess that is your body remembers a feeling that your brain couldn’t. It’s kind of like muscle memory in a way. It’s like your instincts is telling you something is wrong because something isn’t the same as it used to be. That’s just something you need to figure out on your own. As he flew home, he thought long and hard about what he had learned. He was right something definitely didn’t add up. He thought maybe his cool bird intern could tell him something. Once he was home, he called Tokoyami to ask about you. Tokoyami didn’t say much other than you were important to him and how Vivian lied to him about about your character. Tokoyami said you were the sweetest person he knows and how He would constantly talked about her like a you where a goddess in private settings of course.

He decided there was no use sitting around and doing nothing so he went for a fly. He flew aimlessly around the city in deep thought only to land on a random apartment balcony. He didn’t know why he landed there but it felt right. He look around To see some cloths still out on the drying rack. Not long after he saw the light turn on and wanted to fly away, best not to disturb the resident who live here right. Something in his gut told him to stay. After a few minutes the curtains were opened and there you were.

There he was in front of you. Majestic as ever was he perched on your balcony like those nights he would come after a long day of work, only for you to great him. It hurt you to see him, knowing he wasn’t yours anymore, you thought it was just your kind playing tricks on you. After all he had a new girlfriend. You walked out pretending he’s not there gathering your cloths.

“that’s two things.” You said as you give him a small smile.

“I’m sorry… so sorry. For putting you through so much. It must have hurt you to see me with another and how badly I had treated you. I’m sorry. “ he held you tight as he thought back form the way he treated you.

Guilt overwhelmed him as he held you like you would disappear in a moment. You wrapped your arms around him. For the first time in months you finally got to hug him. You took in every part of him. His dirty blonde hair, slightly muscular toned body, his sent of tropical wood, and his lovely crimson wings. Oh how much you missed being in his wings again. You two held each other for a long time before cuddling to sleep.

Since he has a food based quirk, he's gotten pretty good at cooking. He's the type of guy to be able to make a lot of different foods, including difficult to make dishes, but still manages to mess up making eggs or toast sometimes. He even once somehow burnt the water.

After eating, you get into bed, Tamaki joining shortly after. You two cuddle while watching your show.

After a few episodes, you look at Tamaki and see he's asleep. He looks so cute and peaceful. You stair for a few seconds before going back to watching the show.

...

You feel Tamaki start to move around a bit.

"What time is it?" He groans, half asleep.

"uhhhhmmm, it's" you check the clock "2:15"

He gently takes the remote from you and turns off the TV, sitting the remote on the nightstand.

"Heyyy, I was watching that." You whine.

He pulls u close to him. "Watch it tomorrow. Sleep now." He grumbles, trying to go back to sleep.

You struggle, but obviously you can get out (he's not buff, but he's in the big 3 for a reason. Shy elf boi is strong) "But I'm not tired."

"Sorry, bunny, but I don't care. You need sleep." You pout a bit, but give up. You don't want him to go back to putting sleeping meds in your food again to make you get sleep.

"Fine. I'll try..."

"Thank you, bunny." He kisses you softly. "Good night, bunny. I love you."

"Love you too, elf boy." He chuckles and holds you close to him. Soon after you feel him fall asleep.

Even when asleep he's strong. No way to get outta his grip. So go to sleep. If you can't, you're in for a long, boring night.
