I got really curious after one of your latest posts about your thoughts on bi mike vs gay mike. what's your main evidence for bi mike?

personally, I was a bi mike truther until I started my latest st rewatch a week ago. I always thought that mike had a genuine crush on el in season 1 but this time I noticed that mike didn't really show any romantic interest in her until lucas pointed out that mike likes el. before that, it was just mike being his friendly and caring self. and idk, every romantic moment between them seemed so forced to me, like mike was just doing what he thought he was supposed to be doing. and yeah, that whole dialogue before their first kiss was also weird. I haven't started season 3 yet, so maybe there will be some moments that'll show that mike is bi but for now, my only evidence of him being bi is byler/rockie parallels because vickie is clearly meant to be bi. I'm just so confused now, honestly, because I was so sure that mike is bi before this rewatch lol

nooo anon dont worry about your english, you’re perfectly understandable! to me personally i do see them portraying mike having genuine (but shallow) feelings for el via the inherently romantic tropes applied to them in s1-s2 (getting interrupted, the tiny bit of tension between them and all that), but that’s it, and the way i interpreted the painting plotline also makes me believe he had a shallow infatuation for el, but i’ve read a lot of gay mike analyses that have made me reconsider my stances on his sexuality and the byler storyline.

the byler/rockie parallels are also strong evidence of bi mike (and byler getting together in general) but it’s not really enough for me to discount the possibility of gay mike in the show considering a lot of points that make me believe they might go that route are narrative choices for his character. one example being the way he only showed interest in el after it was pointed out to him by other people, like you said, the stark contrast in how they make lucas and dustin show interest in multiple women but little to nothing from mike in comparison, they’ve also made him mirror will in this aspect (the way they both react to max in s2 compared to lucas and dustin).

season 3 was the most “i’m just doing what i think i’m supposed to do in typical het romantic relationships” season for mike because...he really was just being coached around by lucas constantly, looking totally clueless without him and most of his actions just him trying to adhere to societal expectations like getting his girlfriend a gift (?) and just. not initiating anything himself out of genuine love for el, he really needed a third party to hold his hand through navigating his relationship 😭 also the byler fight in s4 and how he said “thats because shes my girlfriend will” emphasizing the status of their relationship instead of saying something more genuine like el being important to him so obviously he’d write her letters...the majority of it was just him putting up a performance.

tbh he can still be bi and conforming to whats considered “normal” and thats what i was always firm in, but it can also be that they’re trying to portray how he really has no clue how to act when it comes to girls because he just feels no attraction to them. like the reason he needs his hand held through his relationship with a girl is because as a gay man it was never meant for him from the start, and the reason he can’t tell her he loves her is because...it was always impossible for him to feel anything towards her. he didn’t realize it at first (he wasn’t even sure of the difference between platonic and romantic before they kissed) but by s4 he was fully aware he only felt platonic care for el and was scared of losing her if he was honest about his true feelings (which explains the desert heart to heart he had with will.)

the duffers (or any other person from the writer’s room) have watched shows that portrayed internalized homophobia and characters that dated women while being cloested gay men, such as dawson’s creek and eyewitness, so that’s another factor that makes me think they could be writing mike to be gay because they’ve already gotten ideas of what it’s like, they’re not completely clueless. anyway this got too long (sorry anon i got carried away asjdksj) but the bottomline is i think both bi and gay mike have equal chances of being canon and are strong contenders in their own right, and while i used to think they wouldn’t explicitly confirm his sexuality, i realized they basically have to because they also need to clarify in the plot the true nature of mike’s feelings for el throughout their relationship and if he ever really loved her or felt attracted to her, it goes hand in hand with his sexuality arc and they can’t really just brush this over without leaving some kind of gaping hole in the storyline. mike’s gonna have to express how he really felt about el throughout their relationship so yeah...those are my two cents 👍

Tbh I know gay Eddie is the most popular headcanon but I think objectively he would be bisexual. Whether one wants to believe he was in love with Shannon or not (and I think the show wants us to believe it), he had a lot of sex with her and it was never implied he didn't enjoy it. A lot of people seem to either have convinced themselves that the Shannon plot didn't happen or that it doesn't count anymore since it was so long ago. That's not how sexuality works tho. So yeah, I wouldn't say we have all come to the same conclusion here.

That’s totally valid and that makes sense with what the writers have given us since we first met Shannon. She has been the only solid love interest. And yes, you are right, he did seem to enjoy hooking up with her. Based on this, I think there is a solid claim for him being bisexual.

As for him being not into women at all, the main argument I’ve seen has been his seeming disinterest in the women he’s dated. (except Shannon). I speculated somewhere else that it’s possible he formed a strong friendship with Shannon that he mistook for romance, but this doesn’t explain his physical attraction towards her. As you said, sexuality includes physical attraction.

There is, of course, the possibility Eddie is straight, but I dont think he is and i am extremely hopeful that the showrunners aren’t going to make him “come out” as straight.

As for the post i made asking when we’d decided Eddie was gay and not bi, the only posts i have seen have been saying he’s gay since i started actively following the 911 tag here about 2 weeks ago. It was a lighthearted way of basically asking how did the majority of people come to this conclusion im curious. i personally don’t have a strong feelings on it, my opinion is that he’s definitely queer and might go as far as to call him gay (as in a guy who likes guys but not necessarily restricted to them, i am bi also call myself gay sometimes, idk if anyone else does this) but beyond that idk.

Regardless, sexuality is very nuanced and every person has their own unique experience with it. I’m not sure how Eddie would choose to identify or if the show is even going to attach a label to him. I hope however they do (or don’t) label him, people don’t start tearing each other and the actors to shreds.

I hope this makes sense? Again thank you for the ask! This was fun to analyze. I’m really excited we’re getting to see these stories play out and to have the possibility of confirmed queer Eddie on screen, something that I think many of us can agree was almost nonexistent under Fox.

talking about ep6 and how much it means to me is...hard actually. sometimes. because there are so many reasons. reasons that feel silly to me on occassion and reasons that have all been said before but i have to say again because it will never not get to me, how rare it is to see any of this. rare in a bl and rare in entertainment in general tbh.

i can’t believe this show is allowed to have lines like “when there are other people around, talking to you feels like a matter of life and death.” / “what can we do? we’re just born this way.” and have the context not be about homophobia. the way pat and pran get to go out to the market and get groceries together like it’s nothing, be told they look cute together in passing without consequences, experiencing those things they missed out on in high school - which alludes to the way queer ppl irl share many of those domestic moments later in life. the way pran comes downstairs when pat rings his doorbell and hangs back and watches their parents confront is explicitly a metaphor for wanting and being drawn to something you know you should not or cannot have, mixed with the feelings of being something “different” than what your parents want for you.

these moments just hit so hard. they are so small. and yet they mean so much. 

then ofc there’s the huge focus on communication this episode - the way pat hurts and struggles and tries over and over to reach out to pran, slowly learning to meet pran where he is, all along respecting pran’s boundaries enough to not cause a scene himself but also not backing down from his own needs. it’s simply something i dont see often enough in romantic relationships in television. so much that’s portrayed to the world focuses on miscommunication and dishonesty rather than how worth it vulnerability can be. 

something that also stands out to me that started in this ep in particular (that’s why im bringing it up), is the way any sexual implications that arise are never used for jokes that play off the fact that pat and pran are a mlm couple. they’re taken seriously instead. like i’m not sure how to say this right, but the sexual tension feels so real because attention isn’t called to it. it’s just something that happens. and a lot of this also has to do with the fact that neither pat nor pran ever devolve into heteronormative, misogynistic gender roles as well (which i could talk about forever especially in the context of bl but i wont here). there are no onlookers pushing their own agendas onto the main characters ever in this series, not romantically, and not sexually. 

(not even korn in ep9 feels that way to me, because he comes across as a goofball who wants the best for his friend(s), an observer rather than someone trying to push his way into business that isn’t his. also imo he’s speedrunning his bi realization in that ep as well so he gets a pass and a pat on the head). 

and because of all that, to my astonishment, i have never once felt any second hand embarrassment watching pat and pran. whether it's a serious scene like the newspaper game in ep6 or a silly scene like the one in pat’s room in ep7 - everything feels like it’s just for them. not catering to the audience. they’re allowed to be goofy, they’re allowed to be serious, they’re allowed to be visibly attracted to each other - without the show making a big deal out of it. and to me, that makes it a big deal. the fact that it is so normal. and ofc so much meta has been written about the casual physical intimacy in this show - the fact how on the other hand, not every touch between them has sexual undertones. that they can just exist in each other’s space and it be normal.

(and i feel like that’s where a lot of disagreement comes from, from a minority of audience members. i’ve seen takes where people thought pat and pran acted more like friends than lovers once their relationship actually became romantic - and i feel like not only does that point to the twisted societal pressure to differentiate between what classifies as “romantic” and “platonic”, but also the stigma that every act between same sex couples is inherently sexual, and therefore “dirty”. so simply put, the people who have those takes just don’t understand what this series has done.)

because for real, any other bl would have shown the physicality of pat and pran’s affection and interest in each other very differently. 

idk it just really gets to me. it’s spread throughout the rest of the show ofc but i specifically remember watching ep6 for the first time and being so shocked by how subtle the difference i saw in this series was - and also shocked by how much it meant to me to see it.

so yeah, this is just a silly romcom. but also no, it’s so much more than that. and episode 5 might be the ep that began that shift, but episode 6, for me at least, is the one that solidified it. and the rest of the show just continued to do the work to prove that.

osomatsu, to me, would prefer anyone with a visible chest - but otherwise he wouldnt care what's in your pants. aligns more with bi than he does with pan, however he usually tends to shy away from dating anyone who identifies masculinely. not that there's a problem, of course, he likes dick - he just doesnt really like men

karamatsu likes anyone and everyone, regardless of what they identify as. definitely the most likely of the brothers to be found in a polycule, though he prefers all of his partners get along. he's great at giving attention to all of his partners and never favors any one over another

choromatsu may act like the Token Straight™ and while he is "straighter" than the others (by the boys' definition), he's still into people who don't identify as female. he's like osomatsu in that he prefers people that identify femininely, but he doen't care as much about physical appearance - as long as he finds who he loves then he'll be okay. he's somewhere in the grey-ace/grey-rom area, but tbh i'm not fully sure where - he falls in love easier than he would have sex with someone, that's for sure.

ichimatsu is sort of like karamatsu in the way of not caring about identity, but he's also fully demiromantic/demisexual. i dont know if there's a combined term for the two? one of the main things that ichi does look for in a partner is if they're good/okay with cats. he doesn't expect them to like look after the strays but he does want them to not be mean or anything. might be open to polycules down the line but even opening up to one person is hard enough for him

jyushimatsu. another "love for the sake of loving" type. he's not as open to polyamory as karamatsu, but he's not as reserved as ichimatsu - he just wants to find the perfect person for him. whether his partner is poly or not doesnt matter to him, as long as they make sure to spend time with him then he's alright with that! definitely has fallen in love with many people at once, but usually doesnt realize it unless he feels sexually attracted to them as well

todomatsu doesn't really care too much as long as his partner would let him dress them up. he's maybe a little more shallow when it comes to facial looks, but even if those who have softer features and present masculinely are okay in todomatsu's book. if there's a word for "romantically attracted to soft features" then yeah that's him. he's the only one who fully identifies with "grace," even though he isn't the only one on the grey-ace spectrum. he doesn't really need an emotional bond like some others, but he also doesn't have many sexual feelings toward other people in general. when he does, it happens randomly and usually not for very long

The return to Starkit’s Redux- this time with… some of the love interests. Or at least the main ones for each of the girls! Say hello to Waspthroat/star, Redcloud and Stormstripe.

**Edit- adjusted Redcloud due to me finally coming to a conclusion why Starkit/Nightstar wouldn’t support her and Rainflower’s relationship.

So Jazzsong/star -> Waspdusk or Waspthroat/star

Jazzstar is an interesting character. She doesn’t really do much, she’s the obligatory friend of Starpaw/gleam in the beginning. She is boosted to being deputy and then leader still without much character being shown. It’s only when she’s leader that she shows somewhat of a character… and it still isn’t consistent tbh. She seems to be the voice of reason, she doesn’t care about Starkit’s bigotry, and frequently points out the flaws in her argument. I guess that could make her a -throat? Voice of reason is the only thing I got for it. But I could also see her being a -dusk because she gets right into being a leader even after her supposed friend dies. Also she decides to stay with her Clan after her mate and one of her sons dips out.

But she gets wasp because she can get a darker tail, it was kind of too perfect to pass up for me.

Redfur -> Redcloud

Now she gave me some trouble I will not lie. She fits the Red- prefix, but she is said to be beautiful (to the point Stargleam has to reassure herself she’s straight). Which could make her a -face. But I don’t wanna combine those two together. Thought of making her Roseface, and that might still be possible. But Y’know she’s actually the softer of the two between her and Lakepool in the fic. This could also make her a -flower, but I feel like -cloud fits her just as much.

Which I had to think of a different reason for “Starkit” to disapprove of their relationship, so I thought maybe making Redcloud an Amber cat (Y’know where they start out dark and change to a lighter color?). She’s probably paranoid that Redcloud isn’t Y’know… an actual cat. She’s got the ShadowClan paranoia about stuff, and Redcloud CHANGED colors Rainflower use your head, she isn’t a cat! Cats DONT CHANGE COLORS-! Oh and I thought about making her trans? That or Rainflower. Not sure exactly.

**Edit- disregard the past point! So I realized rewatching Moonkitti’s Starkit’s Prophecy, that there’s an error towards the end. An error in Starkit’s Prophecy? Nooo it isn’t possible!

This error is a small one- despite Redfur and Lakepool both leaving, by the end Redfur is aligned with ThunderClan once more. While Lakepool is still with the Dark Forest cats.

So I’m running with this. And the idea is that Nightstar didn’t support the two because one of them (Rainflower) wasn’t as loyal to the cause as Redcloud. And while Rainflower is her sister; her disbelief could taint Redcloud’s loyalty!

She simply can’t allow them to be together, Redcloud’s loyalty cannot waiver no matter what. Ironically this desperation to separate the two actually pushes Rainflower away, and leading to Redcloud to doubt the new leader.

And I’m probably going to go ahead and make Redcloud trans. Just to explain how she and Rainflower later had kids together.

Nightrain-> Stormstripe

AKA the one to get with the most neglected sister. Fun fact about him, the only description you get of him is that he has blue eyes. I almost said screw it and turned him into a white cat, and called him Cloudstorm. But he is consistently called Night- so I figured he was envisioned as a white cat. There isn’t much to go off of him, he is mates with Flamepelt, is horrified that she isn’t the cat he thought she was (she was bi, and an atheist). He sided with Starpaw in the argument then runs off apparently heartbroken. But then he is later said to have joined Flamepelt in leaving despite showing no support for her. He is weak willed, and switches his moral compass on a whim apparently. He could’ve been a -storm for how up and down he is about what he wants. But I didn’t want Nightstorm. In case I do switch Starlingstar to Nightstar. So he gets Storm- and he gets-stripe. A simple name for a relatively shoddy romantic partner.

I probably should’ve included Stargleam’s… other romantic partners. Though if I make a version of Firestar and Graystripe they’re gonna be aged down immensely. Hawkfrost and Ashkit (not -fur) are a maybe. Though I think if I do anything I’ll be doing the villains next. So it would be… Tigerstar, Hollyleaf, Rainstar and Tigerkit. And I’ll throw Starkit II in there as well since she’s the kid of Tigerstar and Hollyleaf.

as for show recs, ive been out of the loop on everything bl this year bc im a uni student and i work two jobs, i don't really have the time and energy anymore so i might not be able to talk about more recent shows, but there's still a handful of good bls i can rec u!

one of my personal faves is theory of love because 1. i adore gun to the moon and back, he's a phenomenal actor and he did an amazing job in this series; 2. the story is great! friends to lovers with a lot of angst is just MWAH; 3. THE SOUNDTRACKKKK!!!! fake protagonist THE bl ost of all time!; 4. i loooove all the movie references in the show. all that said though, tol does have its fair share of issues (like poorly written female characters) but overall it still is a good show imo!

i dont think the bl sphere has many shows in the genres u mentioned but we have a couple of supernatural plots like he’s coming to me (dude meets this ghost and falls in love with him and the show is super cute and sad at times but if u think too much about it its creepy lmao), until we meet again (hhhh maybe not supernatural but the whole concept is soulmates and red threads of fate and it’s VERY angsty), the untamed (i personally never finished it helppp but its a very good show and it has a lot of ~magic~), the movie the blue hour which is IMMACULATE, its so good, its horror/thriller, it has gun and oab and its GAY ugh its really really good i love it so much AND ITS DIRECTED BY A TRANS WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

other shows that i really enjoy but that are romcoms more than anything (with angst bc i looooove angst): gaya sa pelikula (filipino, probably the best bl of 2020, absolutely incredible), old fashion cupcake (jpn bl about two dudes who work together and deal with growing old, its v v good! established adults!), cherry magic (jpn bl, SO cute and wholesome, dude turns 30 but because he’s still a virgin he gains the power of reading people’s mind. doesnt make much sense but its def worth ur time!), 2gether/still2gether (a classic, a staple, the show that popularized thai bls worldwide. looking back its an ok show, nothing much, but it is very cute if u wanna turn ur brain off), we best love (taiwanese, ONLY SEASON ONE, i love this show so so so much it gave me such a huge brainrot)

now more heavy/sad shows: i told sunset about you (THE artsy bl we all needed, bkpp KINGS, storytelling 11/10, amazing), history3 trapped (one of my personal faves, again established adults god bless, dramatic and dynamic, main couple’s chemistry thru the roof, fifi!!!!), a tale of thousand stars (very angsty but also very beautiful)

the next two aren’t bls but i have to talk about them because they are great and i love themmmm. 3 will be free, deals with class disparity, has strong female leads, trans characters, bi characters, gay characters, polyamory, beautiful cinematography, def should watch! and the gifted/the gifted graduation. not gay bc it barely has any romantic storylines but very interesting concept, v v thriller-y and good acting!!! s2 disappointed but s1 is mwah and my url is from the gifted bc im a clown and pang and wave ARE gay and ARE in love and ARE dating thank u!

ive also heard about ghost host ghost house but haven’t had the time to watch it yet, seems very cute and i think it has some supernatural elements? cant confirm but ill try to watch it next week during my break so maybe ill update u on it later!

ok, while i can see where the accusation of "he has deliberately been acting queer to gain the trust of queer fans / he has been pulling a gay for pay for an entire decade" is coming from now that we know he is straight and that info makes a lot of his words and actions retroactively make no sense... if it was really all about 'deceiving the gays', wouldnt it have been a million times better for him if he hadnt corrected himself?

See, i absolutely dont agree with the claim that anything or even most of the things he has ever done, from supporting lgbt causes, to campaigning gay cas, to acting the way he does, to flirting with his costars, was to get the gay money. Like OBVIOUSLY he has played some stuff up for laughs and attention, but we've known that the entire time and tbh a lot of people thought it was pretty hilarious, so theres that. While the added context of him being straight does make some of his actions a little weird and confusing in hindsight, i think its dishonest to assume theres an insidious plan behind everything he does. Like, maybe he is just an exceptionally fruity man.

and again, if his main objective had been to obtain the gays' trust and money, people thinking he actually came out as bi would have been the golden ticket. if he had already been doing it this entire time, adding a fake label to it wouldnt matter, he wouldnt even have had to change anything about his behaviour.

also this supposed 'masterplan' didnt take into account the things that were out of his control and probably not that great for him. like how do the homophobic jokes and microaggressions aimed at him fit into this?

like, whatever you might think about him after all this, thinking he twisted his entire personality, just so he can get bullied by half of the shows fanbase and get microaggressed at work, is a bit dumb

ok so. i know a lot of this has probably been said before, but i wanted to put my two cents in. very rambly and disorganized because i am just like that.

i think everyone in this fandom needs to examine the way they interract with male vs female characters. why is it easier for you to focus on and create content for male characters that have appeared in 2 episodes maximum, then it is for the women that are in the main cast? why do you gravitate towards ships between two male characters who have never met (specifically jonah and like. his harem of old british men. usually based on one single line of dialogue) then the actual, canon wlw relationships?

like dont get me wrong, when lonely eyes first started cropping up it was funny! i enjoyed it, i enjoyed the multiple divorce jokes, because it was a small fandom in joke that made fun of some old bastards. and now its the second most popular ship in the fandom. now its so popular, people think its canon before they start listening. why are you unable to muster that same kind of enthusiasm for any of the female characters? gertrude and mary have very similar appeal to lonely eyes, and yet its a fringe ship that nobody ever talks about. gertrude and agnes have very significant moments and mentions in the podcast, and yet the only people i see talking about them are wlw.

or we could talk about michael and helen! helen who, as of this moment, has become a key player in the storyline. helen who yeeted michael out of existence, who took over the power of the distortion by her own choice, and with her own strength. and so often i see her relegated to "vodka aunt that coos over jonmartin" is that a bad take on her? of course not! but having her only purpose be to comment on the male characters rubs me the wrong way.

lets talk about elias and mary. elias gets praise, and love, and devotion, regardless of the horrible things he does. the entire fandom has the reputation of eliasfuckers now because everyone goes so crazy for him. mary is just as evil, has just as sexy a voice (i assume lol cause tbh? eel eyes does not do it for me and never will), and people just. hate her. full stop. why is that?

it seems like manuela has been. completely forgotten. i Never see anyone talk about her. she has just as much appeal as the male avatars, so why are you so uninterested in her? sasha and tim have the same amount of importance, and both have died, but there is So much more focus on tim. why.

daisy/basira and melanie/georgie are incredibly well developed relationships, their stories are as beautiful and tragic and intimate as jonmartin, but the f/f and m/m fic ratio on ao3 is abysmal. because it seems to me that the only people writing about them are wlw.

which happens.....a lot. het relationships and gay relationships are for everyone, but lesbian ships? thats just for gay women. everyone goes head over heels for mlm movies, regardless of sexuality, but wlw movies never receive the same kind of treatment. why.

this isn't even touching on the. blatant and disgusting fetishising of mlm. elias is evil because hes gay and skanky. tim is bi so he must sleep around. tim and martin are both mlm in the same vicinity of each other so they must have had a friends with benefits relationship. jon/elias and peter/martin have significant age differences and power disparities, so they must have an incredibly fucked up sexual relationship. jon is ace, but yall just fully ignore that so you can write horny fic of him. (and im going to be completely honest, if you get legitimate joy from writing manipulative r*pe fic involving these characters, Especially involving an ace character, ( edit: i apologize for my wording here, i didnt intend to compare trauma between ace and non ace ppl. my point is that jon seems to be the main target in these fics, and that they seem to be a direct response to his asexuality. fic like this is bad regardless of who is targetted). than that is a big problem. you arent "exploring dark topics in a meaningful way" youre writing fucked up porn for your own sick enjoyment. get angry at me all u want lmao but i stand by that)

i could go on about this forever, but what im really asking is for people to look inward and ask yourselves why you are so against connecting and interracting with female characters? no one is saying you cant like the men, but if theyre the only ones you care about? thats a problem. there are more women in tma then there are men, but they still feel like the minority because of the way the fandom acts. this isnt just a tma problem either! you can put as many rounded out female characters as you want into your content, and every time without fail they will be pushed to the side in favor of the men.

and dont come at me with "oh if you want content of the women you should make it" like we fucking are. the issue is that wlw are the only ones doing it. just take a second and think. are you ignoring the female characters in favor of the men? why? why is that your first instinct? why do you not feel the need to go against that instinct?

im in that weird spot of "i dislike the concept of loki and sylvie being romantically involved bc the thought of loki's true love being himself kind of implies he's the only one who'll ever love him and i dont like that, and i also want to see him w a man since hes marvels first openly queer major character (even tho we were robbed of his genderfluidity but ig thats asking too much from disney huh) and i want him to be in a queer relationship at some point in the show at least instead of just "oh hot powerful main female character obviously has to end up being his romantic interest!"

but at the same time falling in love with a version of himself is one hell of a way to learn to love himself beyond his narcissism that banked on him fitting a certain expectation he had for himself, and that the interactions that have lowkey romantic undertones between him and sylvie are... to my dismay, really well written (at least in my opinion - i see a lot of lokius shippers cringed at the scene in the grassland but i was cringing and finding it adorable at the same time im so conflicted) like its a really good execution of a really bad idea so im just here like 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️

but im not a particular fan of lokius either? i can see the appeal in the ship and its a fun dynamic but i personally see mobius as like, almost a father figure to him, mobius is just such a dad LMAO like especially in the first couple episodes it felt like dad!mobius trying to keep his feral troublemaking child out of control.

so im like. i simultaneously like sylkie AND lokius but i also want neither of them to happen but also wouldnt be upset if either of them happened. but i dont want loki to be alone either bc he deserves someone to love him like that.

Yeah, idk everything is all over the place for me currently too. At this point I just don't want them to add any romance at all tbh. But as you said, if it does happen then I would honestly prefer loki to end up with a man because he's the first openly bi character we have in the mcu and they just gotta explore his sexuality more. Of course you're still bi if your in a f/m relationship, but since this is the FIRST (how sad even is that) lgbt character in the mcu we have, it would just mean a lot if they give us the first gay relationship too.

And I gotta disagree with you on the father figure thing. Of course you can have your own opinions that's totally valid, but I don't see it at all? It's just, the way mobius interacted with loki has felt like flirting to me from the get-go. Literally the second I finished episode 1 I messaged a friend going "am I stupid or is this mobius guy full on flirting with loki?". The "pussycat", "if looks could kill" or the "I gotta be careful or you're gonna take my job" (I don't remember the exact line) comments were just straight up flirty and then you add the tie fixing scene to that. There's some tension going on that you just cannot ignore. I know some people see him as a father figure, but I just really can't. Every time mobius interacts with loki it just feels like he wants to eat him alive, haha. But again, you're free to think whatever you want!

And as I said before, I'm not a fan of the sylvie and loki romance thing at all. It just doesn't feel right to me and makes me extremely uncomfortable. I just really hope they keep it platonic and give us an awesome friendship! I need my chaotic trio 🙏
