and TODAY in crossover AUs only about 5 people will understand: hey what if CPUK characters got put in a Caligula Effect game
I'm planning to draw more stuff for the AU in the future but I had to post something or else I would explode, so here's Jack (acting as club president), Sprout/Hoedown, J0hn, and Therapuppy/Folk, along with a glimpse of Iggy and Nelson :] I'll put a bit more info about the AU under the cut-
The AU is mainly based on the premise and trajectory of the NCCTs- Prism puts everyone in a dreamscape together and they have to stop her. I was having trouble deciding who would be the character to guide everyone, so I've split the role between Iggy and Nelson, as seen here. The rest of the Go-Home club (according to my CURRENT PLAN at least) is made up of Squid Jenny, Twist, Google, Larry, Dantoinette, and a secret surprise character >:3 As for the musicians... they would probably include Doctor Order, Peppermint, CM2K (as Mach 2, I know I said I was basing this on the NCCTs but the timeline's a bit wacky), Prismatic Shadow, and some others. :]
The absolute mess that is GAR lore has once again reduced me to goddamn tears
cause you see
you see
i tried to figure out what the fuck is a marshal commander
and
the wiki page lists Cody and Bacara as canon ones
And it makes sense, right?
Cody serves as a second-in-command to Obi-Wan and Bacara to Ki-Adi-Mundi, both of whom sit on the Jedi High Council. Ki-Adi-Mundi is the head of the 4th Sector Army and Obi-Wan is of the 3rd Systems Army (which actually consists of two sector armies which already makes the situation confusing as fuck but ok)
Theory: a marshal commander is a 2-in-command to a High General; High General is in charge of a System Army that consists of two Sector Armies and has two attached fleets; in times of war the Jedi High Council consists of High Generals.
There are 10 System Armies and 12 people on the Jedi High Council and with Shaak Ti on Kamino it all works out beautifully. Not to mention explains Obi-Wan's promotion to the council and some other changes to the council around the beginning of the Clone Wars (c 22 BBY)
Makes sense, right??
WRONG!
cause then
then
it lists Bly as a marshal commander
And what the fuck are you even supposed to do with that? Aayla is not on the council. She is Anakin's age???
Congrats, I guess we found three High Generals. It's Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Aayla Secura. Seven more to go.
but then
then you dig deeper trying to figure out similarities between Obi-Wan and Aayla to understand why they both have a marshal commander and
Remember the Open Circle Fleet? The one Obi-Wan supposedly leads? Guess what, Aayla, Yoda, Windu and fucking Ki-Adi-Mundi are all part of it
And at this point, I need to scream and shake Dave Filoni like a maraca
Left to rot in the streets of Huohl, no longer needed, you turned to the only one you knew would help someone like you- Blackwater, the head of one of the most notorious thieves guilds in Erdon. Until one did.

The Warchief (M/F) - Okarha
"Your use is the only reason you are still alive."
You've only heard of them through their reputation, cold as the northern winds and as cruel as the southern desert heat. The Warchief of Huohl, in charge of most foreign affairs, you have no idea what business they could have with someone like you. They need you, that much is clear, but will playing along lead to your own demise?
The Red Blight (They/Them) - Cèris
"You should've known better than to trust someone like me."
The Red blight, a name whispered with dread throughout the capital, for how the streets are painted red when they strike. You simply knew them as Cèris, the only one you ever dared to get close enough with after working for Blackwater. Now, you lie in the cold, dark dungeon because of them.
The General (M/F) - Noamó
"People like you... Are a threat to us all."
A pain in their arse, is what you are. In charge of both the army and the palace security, you've slipped through their hands one too many times. Hell-bent on rules and order, you encompass what they hate most. It is clear they do not agree with The Warchief's decision, but their loyalty would never let them voice it out loud, even if they would rather see you hang.
The Captive (M/F) - Tillhi
"I s'ppose we're both in a bit of a pinch, huh?"
The only thing you know about them is that they haven't stopped talking since you were locked up in a cell with them. You also know that they are in here for stealing some kind of book and that they have been here before for trying to perform some off-limits magic and the guard that arrested them is called- You get the point. The most important thing is that they were offered a deal like yours, albeit a lot friendlier.
The Captain (M/F) - Khaen
"Here, have some rum. Eases the pain."
You don't know much about them, even if you have worked with them on multiple occasions. Owner of The Ketea, a boat supposedly stolen from your boss, and packed with knowledge about the surrounding seas, they are a valuable ally. Charm hides it well, but the pain in their eyes as they look at Okarha leaves you with many questions.

Why I love the Spymaster #75: He uses the TCE as his sonic screwdriver!

#75: He uses the TCE as his sonic screwdriver!
The Doctor's most notable gadget, the sonic screwdriver, functions as a great plot device. It does whatever the story needs it to do, unless the plot demands that it fail, in which case it does. It's recognizable, iconic, and a source of humor.
The Spymaster's TCE operates the same way. It starts off as a Tissue Compression Eliminator for killing people by reducing them rapidly in size: an "incredible shrinking device," as he announces it in the gif below from Spyfall II.
By Ascension of the Cybermen/The Timeless Children, however, the TCE has become multipurpose. It seems to work as a communications device between the Spymaster and the Cyber people. He can check messages on it...
He can also apparently use it to video chat with Ashad through its hologram projection capabilities.
Note that it's not fully clear that he's using the TCE for smartphone-like purposes in the previous two clips. However, the TCE's expanded abilities in The Power of the Doctor suggest that he's always upgrading the device. Therefore I like to assume that it is all the same device.
The Power of the Doctor introduces two new abilities of the TCE. First, it can reverse tissue compression, enlarging and revivifying its former victims [below]!
Second [and most hilariously], it acts as a universal remote control to trigger the lights and sound for the Spymaster's gloating Ra-Ra-Rasputin dance.
Every order is founded on a crime against the preceding order—the crime that dissolved it. Afterwards, the new order comes to be perceived as legitimate, as people begin to take it for granted. The founding crime of the United States of America was the rebellion against the authority of the king of England. The founding crime of the society to come, if we manage to survive this one, will do away with the laws and institutions of today.
The category of crime holds everything that exceeds the limits of a society—its worst and its best. Every system is haunted by all that it cannot incorporate or control. Every order contains the seeds of its own destruction.
Nothing lasts forever; that goes for empires and civilizations too. But what could supersede this one? Can we imagine an order not premised on the division of life into legitimate and illegitimate, legality and criminality, rulers and ruled? What could be the last crime?
