In a contentious story that the media buried today, the founder of Telegram shocked Tucker Carlson, exposed U.S. law that forces tech engineers to install secret back doors—and then threatens jail time if they tell their own company.

This is why Telegram didn’t set up shop in America.

“You know what’s interesting, in the U.S., you have a process that allows the government to actually force any engineer in any tech company to implement a back door and not tell anyone about it.”

“Using this process called the gag-order, you know there are certain legal procedures.”

CARLSON, stunned: “Not tell his own employer about it?”

DUROV: “Yes, exactly. If you tell your own boss, you can end up in jail. Like, gag order.”

CARLSON: “Actually?!”

DUROV: “Yeah.”

CARLSON: “So your employees have a legal obligation to act as fifth column spies? Saboteurs against you, your employees?”

DUROV: “That’s one of the reasons I didn’t move to the U.S. with my team.”

Following an accident, Danny wakes up in Gotham City in a DC universe. Lacking any forms of ID or possessions beyond the clothes on his back, he’s forced to commit some crimes to survive. Minor crimes, but still.

And then he gets caught.

During the court proceedings, they come to the mistaken conclusion that he’s a Meta suffering from some psychiatric issues such as Cotard’s Syndrome (a real rare condition where a person holds the delusional belief that they’re dead/don’t exist/etc).

Thus, between his “need for mental treatment” and the concerns about housing someone with his unique physical traits, he is sentenced to spend time in Arkham Asylum. He’s under pretty low security aside from the anti-Meta stuff and has more freedoms than some other inmates, but it’s still not a great experience. Even at the best of times, Arkham is hardly a nice place.

Some of his fellow residents are decently chill all things considered, but lots very much aren’t.

My turbo fucking works and I probably almost injured myself with that test but IT FUCKING WORKS! I machined everything except the clear top (currently it's clear resin), and everything will be done in aluminum when my stock arrives. LETS FUCKING GOOOOO. I didn't get the valve more than halfway open this go. It'll be open all the way as soon as I have a good testing rig.....

Will be looking through other comics and show for these posts, have all them in a folder for future posts so makes it easier to find. There are more things then just the engines and they'll be in the next part probably anyways enjoy!

One of the two assembled critical sections of NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope in the cleanroom at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. This assembly consists of Roman’s optics, primary science instruments, and spacecraft bus.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Nancy Grace Roman!

Today marks what would have been the 100th birthday of Dr. Nancy Grace Roman — NASA’s first chief astronomer and the namesake for NASA’s nearly complete Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. 

Dr. Roman championed NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and paved the way for other major space-based telescopes like NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope and now the upcoming Roman telescope — currently assembled into two large structures technicians will soon connect.

Key assessments at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland are ensuring that both Roman’s critical sections are ready for integration and additional tests as a complete observatory. Having recently passed a space environment test, Roman remains on schedule for launch by May 2027, with the team aiming for launch as early as fall 2026.
