Mandalorian Jetpacks

Happy Fett Friday! SO glad the lore now allows Mandalorian Jetpacks to fly for longer periods of time.

Even though I ❤️ playing Star Wars Bounty Hunter way back in the day, I absolutely HATED how you were granted only mere seconds of flight time before your jetpack would shut off & force you to land so that it could re-charge/ cool-off from overheating.

In Attack of the Clones, after Jango Fett eliminated Zam Wesell with a Saber Dart, his Jetpack allowed a very quick escape from Obi-Wan & Anakin. And it was a QUICK escape. Unlike in Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Jango didn't fly for a few seconds, then land to let his Jetpack recharge, then fly for a few more seconds, then land again, then fly a little bit more, then once again land, and then….

Hell, he never would have made it out of there if he had to do keep doing that slow-ass shit…

This is what happened. Jango took off. The sound of his Jetpack igniting drew the attention of Obi-Wan & Anakin. They observed Jango flying up higher & higher, furthering the distance between them so rapidly the Jedi realized that a pursuit at that point would be futile.

That's why it felt good to finally see Mandos airborne for extended periods. Throughout The Mandalorian TV series Boba Fett, Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, The Armorer & many other Mandalorians propelled themselves through the air & kicked shebs. During the Battle of Mandalore, it was so awesome to witness waves of Mandos that flew high above Mandalore, engage the Empire in battle & take back their homeworld. Because Mandalorians are stronger together....

It took me way too long to realize but I cannot tell you how devastated I was when I found out Donnie had a normal Bo-Staff in the movie

Like imagine how upset S1 Donnie would be

so I made the big momma dress and my brain went

"Big momma may be toxic as ever but she's still probably be chill with the twins wearing dressed if they wanted to she's just want to chose them"

So I made these more unfortunately for them after

Leo's dress: much more flowy and dynamic made for the long strikes of confidence and to draw attention. Loose sleeve to make the dress more skinny and dramatic the bottom half is see through becuse pretty and lets more are through die to the mess.

Donnie's dress: alpt tighter and more form fitting made dark to blend in more and be the polar opposite of leo's much more triditional and calm eith short scenes to show off his markings. Belt attached on the waist and a more flowy ribbon is around the end of the sleeve.

Leo's pin: a simple brass sheild with twin katans stick into a tigars eye stone and ble glass behind the scene enphasises that leo's the defense of the two

Donnie's pin: based off a drawing Donnie made of a tech bow(becuwe I cant remember if he has one) with purple glass squared to highlights donnie's magic. Normally work on the belt attached to the dress getting simple enphasises donnies the awfence of the two

The Brotherhood of Steel don't commit Genocide

Their goal is to protect humanity - not including Ghouls - from Dangerous Technology (Laser weapons, FEV, Replication tech) and try to destroy the fruits of that danger.

But they're not the Enclave. They're not out here trying to make a Human Ethnostate.

As a rule, they've given it a go once or twice but, typically, they're not genocidal. Does the Brotherhood of Steel dislike Ghouls and Super Mutants? Absolutely. Did the West Coast chapter care that the NCR allowed both to be citizens? No, they didn't. Because they weren't a danger to Humanity as individuals.

Why haven't they wiped out Goodneighbor in Fallout 4? Or hell, why doesn't MacCready (who isn't the BOS biggest fan) bring up Underworld or any Brotherhood activity there? No, he doesn't - so its safe to assume that they weren't wiped out.

In Fallout 4, the fight is against Synths the same way it was about Super Mutants in Fallout og - the Synth is just the dangerous byproduct of the Brotherhood's actual target, the Insitute. Just like how the Brotherhood wasn't out to kill all Super Mutants, but the Super Mutants who served the master and threatened Mankind.

From Maxson's perspective (wrong as it may be), he thinks that Synths represent a danger to mankind for two reasons:

They have the ability to near perfectly infiltrate any organization with sleeper cells that can be activated at a moment

Synths might one day decide that they don't need Humans anymore, and instead of trying to run away from the Insitute they'll take over and mass produce

Both of these are nightmare scenarios for the Brotherhood. But the second the Institute is gone, so are both of those points. There will be no more infiltrating (except for DiMa's shenanigans) and the ability to make new Synths has exploded. And, actually, so too did the way to make new Super Mutants so once the current batch is gone there won't be anymore.

Arthur Maxson's work here is done. Now he'll just set up a new local chapter (he has the ego to just unilaterally make one, or he could have made contact with the West Coast and got permission) in Boston. The Brotherhood doesn't want to be the local government, so they'll let the Minutemen do that but they'd mostly just be here to vibe.

Shit, they can't even do anything about the Synths. Not even a deep brain scan will reveal if there is a Synth component, and its impractical to do mass-brain surgery. The Brotherhood pretty much has to wipe their hands and go "we did good gang"

So sorry Thaddeus, no we will not be "killing all the ghouls" because, to be completely honest, there are more important uses of the Brotherhood's time and micro-fusion cells.

My top 3 Star Wars helmets

#1 coolest The Armorer! Wow, this helmet is pretty!! The unpainted (?) or painted in a metallic goldish color looks so good in the fires of the forge. I don't even care if the spikes are there for the aesthetic or because of species, this is one helmet that I never want to see of its owner's face, and hopefully never will. Because the helm is the face and it is beautiful <3

#2 is Tech!! His helmet is super awesome and it has 2 ways to wear, visor up or visor down! That's why he gets two gifs. Idk how he gets it on overtop of his glasses, it doesn't look like it should fit, but how they made his everyday glasses a part of his helmet makes the glasses wearer in me very envious. Love how both glass (?or whatever is used instead for glass in Star Wars) sections add a fun splash of yellow and a faint peak at his eyes! The visor may be a little silly, but honestly that just adds to the appeal and makes me like it even more. Let character designs be fun! Also, the helm has that red over white racing stripe paint, a nice classic design!

#3 Bo-Katan Kryze, and all I can say is WOW! This is one cool helmet!!! The eye shape is so cool and the paint job somehow makes it even more awesome!!! The class T shape visor is fun, but this style is just so much cooler
