Heya folks! I'm a cute wannabe sex worker, but today I have a PSA for you about what we call ✨"strength based thinking" ✨.

I have a bit of the autism. And, honestly, most days, it rules. I'm sexy and delightful and I don't have time for (or the ability to understand or care about) bullshit! But sometimes it sucks. In big ways, obviously, but also small and obnoxious ways. Like, especially with my ADHD, I can get stuck on the same few lines from a song and repeat it compulsively. That's sometimes really annoying... for people around me, but also (and more importantly, from a disability-friendly standpoint) for myself.

I have autism, though, and I can't make that go away, even if would want to.

It's much more obnoxious during the holiday season, where the same handful of songs designed to be earworms even for allistic people are on repeat everywhere. Instead of bemoaning my lot in life and being down on myself for how irritating it can be, though, I look at it as an opportunity to 🎵 get funky with it 🎵 and use other common autistic traits - gestalt language processing and good pattern recognition - to come up with fun adaptations. Sometimes, they're flops! Sometimes, I make a bardcore Missy Elliot post that gets more attention than all my adorable or horny selfies and I'm not even salty about it a little bit 😘. But it's always entertaining, and overpowers feeling frustrated and stuck with affirmations of creativity and cleverness!
