Hey it's me again can you do more old predacon archivist buddy how would team prime and maybe arachnid react to them Even though they are the archivist they still know how to fight (mostly using their famous gladiator moves and they're trusty sword) They might give some of the younger members of team prime some pointers while fighting (Even though they don't really want to fight the younger bots They would most likely just want to Read them stories or give them wisdom because they have them old grandpa vibes lol but they will not hesitate to throw hands if needed)

Buddy had enough.

As soon as they heard about the incident about the Predacon’s being irradiated by the Autobots, they grew suspicious.

There was no way Optimus Prime would agree to this… but the Wreckers did have a history of being gruesome in battle. But even they had limits!

Then it came to the matter of location.

Only a few Decepticon’s knew where Shockwave’s lab was located. All being higher ranking officers… high ranking officers like Starscream…

After using their archiving skills to do some digging, they found a video of Starscream and Megatron talking about the eradication of the Predacons by setting up the Wreckers to find it and having Predaking go after them.

They tried to talk to Predaking about this, but he was too furious to even consider anything.

The next day Buddy left the Nemesis and flew to find the Autobots.

If Preaking wasn’t going to listen to them, the best they could do was warn the Autobots, perhaps giving them an edge.

They aren’t exactly greeted with open arms, as expected. After a few hours of interrogation and convincing, Buddy is allowed to help Team Prime.

Ultra Magnus

Magnus was the first to offer to train with Buddy.

Despite every single fiber in his being telling him to run the other direction.

While they sparred Buddy would often make comments on his stance and how to better himself.

He wouldn’t admit it, but a cold chill ran down his spinal struts when it was time to spar with Buddy in their beast form.

He took notice early on that Buddy would purposely avoid the prosthetic servo as much as they could.

“Why do you do that?”--Magnus

“Do what?”--Buddy

“You keep avoiding this side. Predaking is not going to only go for one side. You must fight me on both!”--Magnus

“… If that is what you want.”--Buddy

“Yes.”--Magnus

“Very well… and I am sorry for Predaking’s actions. It was uncalled for as an act of rage.”--Buddy

“…You didn’t have anything to do with it… but thank you.”--Magnus

“Hmm… Now let us continue.”--Buddy

“Let us.”--Magnus

He was rather surprised at the compliments he received from Buddy after training sessions.

He is a bit surprised hearing about Buddy’s field of expertise but he understands that they like different things other than fighting all the time.

Ultra Magnus has caught Buddy telling stories of Cybertron’s past to the humans on base.

He acts like he isn’t listening in, but he is.

Smokescreen

Smokescreen wanted to be the first one to spar with Buddy, but Magnus got there first.

He is just excited to potentially ride the dragon.

He isn’t present for Magnus’s training, so he has no idea what to expect.

When it is his time, he completely underestimates Buddy by their age and gets destroyed in a sparring match.

“I heard a huge ‘BANG’! Is everything okay?”--Jack

Smokescreen on the ground while Buddy in their Predacon form laying down on him.

“…”--Jack

“He is fine.”--Buddy

“Help… me…”--Smokescreen

“You’re fine.”--Buddy

Buddy has patience with this bot and gives him tips for his fighting style and compliments him when he is done with the match.

He is extremely surprised when he learns about Buddy’s field. But then again, Optimus, before as Orion Pax, was an archivist himself…

Once Smokescreen finds out that Buddy has stories to tell, he joins the group and sits down to listen. His favorite ones are from Buddy’s ‘glory days’ and myths.

Wheeljack

Wheeljack is watching like a hawk over the training sparring sessions.

He doesn’t trust Buddy too much.

When it’s his turn, he holds nothing back.

But to his surprise Buddy is quick to disarm him and pin him to the ground.

“Why you little—”--Wheeljack

“Language Wheeljack, there are children present.”--Buddy

“Its just Miko, Smokescreen and Ratchet.”--Wheeljack

“Exactly, children! And second, your stance is still off.”--Buddy

“My stance is—wait did you just call Ratchet a child? I understand Miko and Smokescreen, but ratchet is older than all of us on the team.”--Wheeljack

“…”--Buddy

“…How old are you?”--Wheeljack

“…Its best if you don’t know kid.”--Buddy

Wheeljack ignores many of Buddy’s tips at first, until he decides to try one of them one day and see what happened.

He was surprised that the tip was useful.

He began to listen to Buddy’s advice a bit more after that.

As surprised as he is hearing about Buddy’s field, he can to a point understand it.

Being a scientist and Wrecker don’t exactly go hand in hand, but he makes it work.

The same went for Buddy.

Often listens in on Buddy’s stories when they talk to the kids.

If Wheeljack has time, he’ll join in for a bit to listen.

TW: A bit of implied disassociation because, holy shit, suddenly you're a giant metal robot and that's kinda hard to wrap your newly non-organic brain around.

Team Prime comforting Reader, who just got turned into a Cybertronian, would include...

Optimus reassures you from the first moment that you have a safe home with Team Prime, should you choose to stay with them. Of course, you do. He makes sure you have the time and space to adjust and be comfortable with your new body before jumping into anything. He's just there if you need him, which some days is more helpful than everyone's else's efforts to offer unsolicited advice right off the bat.

Bumblebee helps you adjust to having wheels by challenging you to races that double as training whenever possible. He is almost certainly going easy on you, but nobody ever tells you as much.

Bulkhead is the first to realize that maybe you just really need a damn hug right now, if only because he's not very good with words. He hugs you and reassured you that it will be okay, and you're amazed how warm and fuzzy you feel afterwards, even though you're fairly sure your new body doesn't actually feel such minute temperature changes.

Ratchet tries to be "comforting" by explaining how your new body works... in detail that goes way, WAY over your head. But eventually, you get him talking about Cybertron's history and culture, and realize that your two species aren't all that different after all, which helps more than an anatomy lesson ever could.

Smokescreen is quick to remind you that you don't have to go back to your boring human school/job/house/whatever. Depending on how much you liked/disliked your old life, this is either incredibly helpful or incredibly irritating. If you get upset with him though, he's quick to apologize, and it's hard not to be comforted by that well-meaning smile and a servo patting your shoulder.

Arcee might somehow be even more protective of you than she is of the humans - she knows what happens when bots overestimate how much they can handle, and she figures that's really easy to do when you go from being a tiny, fragile human to a giant robot. Sometimes it's hard to hear her remind you that you're still mortal, but she means well. "Okay Mom, I get it."

Wheeljack, like Bulkhead, isn't very good with words, but he's also not very good with affection. What he can do, however, is listen. He's there the first time you get frustrated with the rest of the Team - not because they truly did anything wrong, but because being cramped into a tiny base with people you've just met will irritate anyone - and he never breathes a word of what you vented to the others. The Wreckers had their spats too - he knows you'll all be cool at the end of the day.

Oh Primus help Ultra Magnus he doesn't have a comforting servo in his body, but at least he's honest about that. In fact, he's the best bot to go to when you're ready to have things less sugarcoated.

Knock Out doesn't understand what the fuss is about - why would anyone ever want to be a squishy, gross organic when they could be Cybertronian? Humans couldn't turn into cars, for one, and couldn't be polished. He gives you a fresh coat of paint and polish and tells you how much better you look now - it does help, in a way. Being able to pick out new paint makes you feel a little more like your new body is really your body.

But honestly? Your biggest comfort might just be Jack, Miko, and Raf, if only because they will remind you any time you so much as frown just how cool being a giant robot is. And then you remember, yeah, it is pretty cool, actually.

Hello! I wanted to say AMAZING job on that platonic yandere autobot post- yandere posts with the kids in them always put a pit in my stomach but I can admit you wrote it really well!

Though that makes me wonder what would happen with others that are either new and don't have a 'sparkling' or ones that have already been there (Ratchet and Optimus) who technically don't have a sparkling of their own? Like I know it's unlikely but I can't stop imagining smokescreen or wheeljack randomly snatching a human in their mid 20s and going "this is my kid" and no one fighting them on it

I think if it's a situation where the 'sparkling' isn't taken care of by the whole team, Ratchet would be the most overprotective of his human sparkling. Like, you're not going anywhere without him there. You're not leaving the base even. You're lucky if he trusts the others to take care of you, or else he may just lock you in his resting quarters while he's away.

It's not that he means to punish you. You have to understand. He's just… Terrified. He loves you so much and it's terrifying. He can't lose another one. Please. He can't lose another child. It'll break him. Please, please, just understand. He loves you too much to let you be hurt again.

And it's not all bad! He loves to pick you up and hold you in his arms, pressed against his chassis. It's one thing he misses most about losing his little ones… He also enjoys playing games with you or indulging in interests and projects. He loves nothing more than to see a smile on your face and know how much you and your passions mean to him. Though, he has the tendency to go a bit overboard.

If he's delusional enough, he may believe you're somehow his child or grandchildren reincarnated. He'll tell you the memories he has of Cybertron with his family to try to jog your memory.

Despite his unconditional love for you, Ratchet is a grumpy old mech and has a tendency to be stern when need be - and even if not. He may raise his voice at times, but is quick to apologize and swoop you up into his arms.

Optimus' affection is more reserved than Ratchet's, but that doesn't mean he loves you any less! His adoration is usually expressed through praise and words of encouragement. I imagine The Matrix would try to curb this increasingly possessive parental attachment toward you, but perhaps Optimus can simply… Bend the rules just a bit?

It's only natural to see you as a sparkling, is it not? You were significantly younger and smaller than him and he'd taken on a protective role toward you, if anything, it'd be odd if he didn't see you as one. And it was his duty to protect the lives of humanity, especially against the Decepticons. He was doing this because he must. He must keep you safe. You're so small. So fragile. So young.

If he must keep constant communication with you to assure your safety, so be it. If he must disrupt your daily life to protect you from Decepticon attacks, he will do it gladly. And it hurts him to do so, but if locking you within the base is what stops Optimus from losing you, it is the price he is willing to pay. 

At some point, something glitches. Why should he be remorseful for his actions? You were family, after all. His sparkling. And he would do anything to keep you safe.

This glitch in his Matrix may also extend to Bumblebee, but perhaps less so because Bee is much less fragile than you. Optimus would love if the two of you began bonding. Not just to cement you as family, but it means another set of optics on you, as well.

Love the idea of Wheeljack either randomly being like "my baby now" with you without realizing Bulk was doing the same, so when they both go to show their kids off they get so hype because !!! Same wavelength! OR Jackie seeing Bulkhead getting his own Sparkling and being like 'hell yeah this planet has free kids' and zooming off to get his own.

Jackie would try to be as fun a caretaker as possible. Would love to joke around with you, play games, let you climb on him or sit on his shoulders. Also likes to tease you, usually about how small you are compared to him.  What? It's cute!

But, his patience can wear rather thin if you keep begging him to let you throwing tantrums, and while his punishments aren't physical in nature, they can be rather cruel.

For instance, if you're so insistent that he let you go, surely you wouldn't mind him driving you out into the desert and leaving you there, right? I mean, its basically the equivalent of what he'd be doing if he abandoned you when Cons and other dangers are everywhere on this planet! He'll drive out a couple miles before circling back and asking, rather smugly, if you got everything out of your system and were ready to come back to him.

Also! Two dads for the price of one! When he knows he's gonna be going down some dangerous roads and needs someone to watch after you, Bulkhead is the mech for the job!

I feel like Smokescreen would be more of an older sibling figure! No less protective of you than the others, but more of a different dynamic.

For instance, he really, really wants to impress you. He'll go out of his way to do tricks if it means your eyes are on him and smiling up at him. He loves to know you're happy and being the one to make you smile. He hopes you can look up to uim the same way he looks up to Optimus!

And for that, he's also hit very hard at any sign of conflict or disappointment from you. He doesn't really like the idea of punishments. You're far younger than him, you don't know what you're saying. You're confused and upset and so you're lashing out. It's okay, Smokescreen understands. If he ever does feel like you're purposefully trying to hurt him, he'll simply give you the silent treatment.

He loves scooping you into gentle hugs or holds, carrying you around the base. Also loves taking you out for car rides and just talking together.

And if any Decepticons even think about laying a claw on you, he'll make them wish they never existed <3

Request open! So how about Autobots of your choice Reaction to a Autobot cybertronian reader who looks like a decepticon? Just straight up tall, adorned with dark colors and frame a little bit to spiky. And just a plus if bot reader has a joker type personality, especially in battle.

A/N: I feel like I might have written something like this before, but I’m not sure so I’m gonna write this anyway. I just did some of the bots together, since I felt like I couldn’t come up with enough for each of them separately. I didn’t particularly go for the whole Joker thing, but the reader is still kinda chaotic

•When you kicked the door off the escape pod and hopped out, the autobots were understandably a little bit surprised

•They thought you were a con for sure, but then Optimus noticed your autobot insignia, and they lowered their blasters just a little bit

•Arcee actually recognized you, since you had been stationed in the same place for a while, so even though she doesn’t exactly like you, she knows you’re not a con

•You’re a new acquaintance to everyone else though, so trust obviously needs to be earned

•Arcee never really liked you, and she thinks you’re kind of unhinged sometimes, but she also knows you’re a very good fighter

•Bee and Smokescreen are probably the ones least bothered by your appearance, probably because they’re the youngest and don’t have such a stereotypical image in their mind of what a decepticon looks like

•You’ve heard it all your life, how your frame is too big, spiky and an odd color, and while decepticons and autobots come in all shapes and sizes, many of your fellow autobots think you look very decepticon-like

•Especially all the new recruits back on Cybertron were like “What the slag is a con doing here?”

•You’re used to it, and way past caring about it though

•Bulkhead and Wheeljack were kinda weird about your appearance, and when they first saw you fight, they also agreed with Arcee that you’re pretty unhinged and chaotic

•You’re reckless and take a lot of risks while fighting, but you’re confident in your ability, and it usually ends up at least okay for you

•Also you don’t particularly care if it doesn’t end that well for someone else, so the team also sometimes has to dodge your grenades and such

•Which is of course why you keep getting lectures from Optimus and Ratchet, even though you’ve never actually gotten anyone on the team seriously hurt

•Optimus and Ratchet have the longest history with the decepticons in general, being the oldest of the team and because of the relationship Optimus had with Megatron

•So they’ve seen a lot of cons and wannabe cons who’ve modified their frames to look scarier and spikier and stuff like that

•Though you never modified yourself too heavily, you also figured that kinda leaning into the whole “decepticon-like” thing could be an advantage

•Anyway, Ratchet especially isn’t very aware of his prejudices, and he does treat you differently than the others

•Your unhinged behavior is of course also contributing to this, but so is your appearance

•You look (and kinda act) similar to the people he’s been fighting his whole life, but it doesn’t excuse his treatment of you

•You don’t particularly care, because you’re used to it, but when Optimus notices how Ratchet treats you, he mentions it to Ratchet

•Arcee doesn’t think you’re a bad person, she just thinks you’re a bit dangerous because of your recklessness and she keeps an eye on you a lot of the time and especially while fighting

Explaining an Organic Phenomena (TFP fic)

I bring forth ANOTHER reader character/Buddy who has endometriosis! This is closer to my own experiences with my still undiagnosed condition, though. I use Buddy in this story, but that's because I still need to finalize this Buddy's name.

You didn’t expect to end up being involved with an alien’s war, let alone that three of your classmates already knew about them, but you got involved anyway. While you rarely interact with them, preferring to hole yourself up in a small corner to work on assignments, they often pull you into shenanigans anyway. Especially Miko.

The Autobots, as they call themselves, don’t know much about you other than what Jack told them. And he doesn’t know much about you. Most he knows is that at least once a month you end up leaving class early, because it’s the class you have with him that you usually end up leaving for the day, and for the following three days you’re miserable. Jack doesn��t know why either, and you plan on keeping it that way. The only people who get to know about your endometriosis are your family and your doctors.

Well, you at least try. You’ve known them for about two months now, none of them raised an eye at the once-a-monthly absence. Yet. It’s either going to be Ratchet, Optimus, or Smokescreen who will voice any concerns if this happens long enough. Smokescreen, as he’s your Autobot companion assigned to you by Optimus Prime, and Ratchet as he’s a medic.

This is the second period you’ve had since you unwillingly joined them (you blame Miko for this, but also Jack since he’s your neighbor). It was your usual routine during the first day of your period: try to ignore the pain long enough in school, eventually go to the nurse after the pain gets too much for you to focus, then end up being picked up by your mom and brought home.

It was in your class with Miko when you ended up being picked up by your mom. You wrote down something on an index card, giving it to her as you left. She knew what was going on, Miko was the only person outside your immediate family who knew about your condition from you. As you shuffled through to the main entrance, you did see Jack, but ignored him. He was turned away anyway, and you weren’t in the mood to get his attention.

“Where is Buddy? I thought she usually comes with all of you.” Optimus asked. Miko scratched the back of her head before grabbing an index card and showing it to him.

His optics scanned the writing, “I have to leave early, my cramps are getting too much. Tell everyone not to worry about me (especially Ratchet and Smokescreen), I should be there tomorrow.” he read out loud.

“Oh, on the contrary!” Ratchet rebutted, “This happened last month too! And Jack said this happens every single month! Clearly, something’s wrong if this has been happening for years.”

“Well, the only way to confirm if anything’s wrong is to visit her. None of us know where she lives, though.” Raf stated.

“Actually,” Jack countered, “Buddy’s house is right next to mine. Our moms know each other quite well. I don’t think she wants visitors, though. Last time I visited while she was experiencing this she threw something at me, and it hurt.”

Smokescreen entered the room, tilting his head at the lack of his human companion. “Where’s Buddy? I thought she was going to be here.”

“Not here right now,” Miko replied, “she left school early too, needed her mom to pick her up. Girl stuff. I don’t have permission to tell you.”

Smokescreen tilted his head, then turned to Arcee. “Do you know what Miko’s talking about?”

“No, I do not.”

“Then I’m going to find her.” Smokescreen started to walk away, but was stopped by Optimus.

“Smokescreen,” Optimus explained, “I know that you’re concerned for Buddy. However, as Jack is her neighbor, it would draw less suspicion from the Decepticons if he goes to visit her. Jack, do you have Buddy’s contact information?”

“Even better,” Jack pulled out his phone, “I have her mom’s number. Well, I do have Buddy’s number too, but I don’t think she’s going to answer.”

“Excellent. Arcee, go with Jack. Smokescreen, please remain on base, but maintain communications with Arcee.” Optimus ordered. Arcee nodded, and Jack went to grab some of his things before leaving with Arcee.

“Actually, Jackie made a mass displacement machine in case we need to go somewhere that requires someone small.” Bulkhead said, “Arcee might be our smallest member aside from the humans, but I don’t think she can fit through the door of the garage.”

“Absolutely NOT! I believe that would be dangerous. Has Wheeljack even tested it?!” Ratchet turned to Bulkhead, gritting his teeth.

“I’m down to testing it.” Arcee walked to Bulkhead, “Do you know how to operate it?”

“Arcee!” Ratchet exclaimed, “If you really want to do this, I’m going to supervise this.”

This was not a good day. The cramps were especially bad, so all you could do was writhe in pain on your bed, unable to get anything of substance done. Are the Autobots getting suspicious of this now? The Decepticons? Honestly, the thought of Knockout finding you in this state, hell, even Megatron, made shivers go down your spine. It’s a shame too, you wanted to work on that dress for your project. The one that transforms from a vague black silhouette to a bleeding crimson. Too bad that you’re in pain. Mom went out to do some errands, so she won’t be home for a while. And dad? He doesn’t tell you anything about his work, but you know that it has something to do with the alien robots. Why else would the Decepticons kidnap you the day you were released from the psych ward, before you could even cut off the hospital bracelet? Interrogating you about things you don’t know about?

Who’s texting you right now? Grabbing your phone, you checked to see who messaged you. It was Jack. Of course it would be him, he’s your neighbor! The message said something you wished you didn’t read: ‘Everyone’s worried about you, Arcee and I are coming to your house. Ratchet’s worried too. Don’t throw a textbook at me like last time.’

You wanted to punch Jack so hard right now. Also, it was not a textbook you threw, it was a book about the history of fashion. Get it right, Darby. Angrily typing on your phone, you sent out a message: ‘I’M FINE.’ You then put your phone on the nightstand, curling into the comfort of your blankets.

It should take Jack and Arcee half an hour to get to your house, if they’re coming from the Autobot base. Hopefully, you can just tell them not to worry and leave quickly. They shouldn’t worry about you. Well, June did warn them about your mental health not being the best given what happened over the summer, but the point stands. As long as you’re not alone with your thoughts for too long, you’ll be alright.

There’s a sound that you now know is the ground bridge, and another notification sounded on your phone. So they went the easy route. You grabbed your phone, seeing two dreaded words, ‘We’re here’. God dammit. A door opened, most likely the garage door.

It’s Jack’s voice that you first heard, “Buddy, where are you? Who am I kidding, you’re going to be in your room.” as he spoke, his voice got closer. “Coming in!” and he opened the door. Whoop-de-doo.

“Are you in there?” he asked. You popped your head out of your blanket pile, preparing a plushie to throw at him if he says anything stupid.

“Your room has a lot of… black.” Arcee said, peeking from the hallway. Honestly? She’s right. Nearly everything in your room is black and pastel purple.

Wait. How is she in your house? She’s three times Jack’s size, how did she get in through the door? Wait, she looks smaller than usual…

“Why is Arcee in here?” you asked, biting back a whimper.

“Oh. Wheeljack made some kind of mass displacement machine and needed someone to test it. Smokescreen tried to have himself test it to see you, but Optimus has him on base for now.”

Right. That totally makes sense. Not weird at all.

“He’s worried about you, you know? If it weren’t for Optimus telling him he couldn’t, Smokescreen would be speeding to get to you.”

That’s weird. You thought he hated you. Smokescreen was always belligerent and grumpy when with you, mostly because you insisted on being in control so he wouldn’t break the speed limit and possibly commit involuntary manslaughter. He despised your personality.

“I think he only does that because I was assigned his human partner. I doubt that he’s actually worried for me.” you grumbled, returning to your blanket burrito with the plushie ready to throw.

“Ratchet is also worried, you know? He is a doctor and a-”

You threw the plushie at Jack, full force. Arcee didn’t even try to catch it, leaning against the doorframe nonchalantly. Even when mass displaced, she’d have to crouch to get in.

“Hey! What was that for?” Jack caught the plushie in his hands.

“Well,” Arcee laughed, “Buddy’s up now.”

She’s being sarcastic. You’re still laying on your side, dammit!

Arcee walked into the room, speaking after she knelt in front of you, “Anyway, are you alright? I’m pretty sure Ratchet wants an explanation as to what’s going on, since this is the second time since you’ve joined us that this happened.”

Ough. Eugh. This is going to be difficult. How do you explain menstruation to a robot? They don’t have those parts, at least you think. “Uh,” you winced, not out of pain but out of awkwardness, “It’s very complicated and requires a lesson in human anatomy. June would probably explain it better than I can right now.”

“She’s at work right now, though.” Jack countered. Oh. Right. Hospital stuff.

“...I’ll grab my drawing pad. Just give me a moment to draw some stuff to help explain it.” you got out of your very comfortable blankets, going to your desk to grab your drawing pad, a pen, and a few markers. After finding a blank page, you got to work drawing a basic diagram.

Once you finished drawing, you turned the drawing pad to the two visitors. You pointed the pen to the first drawing; a very badly drawn uterus with a face, “This,” you tapped the drawing, “is the uterus. To the sides are the ovaries, which is where microscopic eggs are held. Every month, usually one egg is released. Before this, a lining grows inside the uterus to prepare for a human baby.”

“An… egg?” Arcee tilted her head.

“Not like the ones you see at the store, those are specifically evolved to grow a baby outside of the mother. These have no shell.”

You shifted your impromptu pointer. If you had your finger ring on, you would be using that to point, “The egg, however, needs to be fertilized in order for a baby to form. This is usually done through… certain acts of pleasure. However, there are treatments in case you can’t get pregnant that way.”

Jack nodded, nonverbally imploring you to continue.

“But this isn’t about how babies are made or grown, this is specifically about what happens when you don’t get pregnant.” You moved the pen to point to another crudely drawn uterus, now with an angry expression and blood coming out from the bottom. “When you don’t get pregnant, then the lining sheds, basically it’s like bleeding. You can’t hold it in, it’s gonna flow whether you want it to or not. This takes several days, and usually causes mild discomfort. This usually starts when reaching teenage years, but I was eleven years old when I first got mine.”

“Wait, you were eleven when that happened?!” Jack’s eyes widened. You just rolled your eyes to continue.

“Sometimes, though, the lining can grow on the outside of the uterus, and end up on other parts of the body,” you tapped the pen on another sketch, with a mess of lines representing the intestines with blobs of red on them, “most often the highest it goes is the intestines, but it can go all the way to the brain. This is called endometriosis, and it causes incredibly painful cramps. I had this confirmed over the summer, after that incident.” you chuckled, “Didn’t even have the chance to get lunch after being discharged before the Decepticons took me.”

“I’m… sorry.” Arcee frowned.

“There’s nothing to apologize for.” you replied.

“It’s not an apology, Buddy, it’s a show of sympathy. I can’t imagine how that feels.” Right. People say sorry sometimes to show sympathy. Something you never got the grasp of. Saying sorry is meant for apologies, is it not?

“Well, I did stab myself to distract from the pain my cramps caused.” you laughed.

Why are Jack and Arcee staring at you like that? They look like they saw a flayed corpse.

Oh. Right. They weren’t told why you were in the hospital. At least June is complying with HIPAA.

“That’s why you were in the hospital?! You stabbed yourself?!” Jack went closer to you, still shocked.

“In two places. And no, I’m not showing the scars. They still look nasty.” It is true though, the stitches might be gone but the scars are still healing. Besides, one of those scars is on your stomach. You’re not showing that to anyone except for medical professionals, or someone you trust enough. The only person that applies is mom.

“Well, at least we now know what’s going on. Is it alright if we tell the others?” Arcee asked.

“Go ahead. Miko already knows, by the way. She even taught me how to pronounce it in Japanese. While there is an actual Japanese word, they just use the loan word.” you answered, “Also, be careful when telling Raf. He’s the youngest of us, I’m sure he’ll be full of questions. I… don’t want him trying to learn more than he should at his age.”

You’ve always felt protective of Rafael. Maybe it’s because deep down you always wanted to feel like a big sister to someone. Another part of you thinks you’re trying to subconsciously manipulate him into your father’s cause. Regardless of why that is, the moment you ended up in cahoots with the Autobots you’ve taken up the role of an older sibling to him. You did your best to not be overbearing or authoritarian, but you tried to help explain certain things to him. He might be a genius, but he’s still the age of a middle schooler. As long as he doesn’t end up behaving like Jack or Miko, he should be okay.

“I assume that you want to stay here, and not go to base.” Jack scratched the back of his head.

You nodded, “I’ll see if I can go tomorrow, depending on how I feel. See y’all tomorrow. Also, don’t tell anyone else the fact that I stabbed myself being why I was in the hospital.”

“I promise. See you tomorrow, Buddy.” Arcee waved, and the both of them left.

After the ground bridge noise was made, you put the drawing stuff away and returned to your blanket burrito after taking some painkillers. Talking with both of them distracted you from the cramps for a good while, surprisingly enough. That’s an achievement.

“Are you saying that this is caused by a regular human bodily function going wrong?!” Ratchet clenched his hands, eyes wide and jaw slack.

“As far as Buddy said, yes.” Arcee confirmed.

“Yikes,” Miko winced, “I thought my cramps were annoying at best. I can’t imagine what level of cramps she experiences every month.”

“That’s why Buddy’s not here right now?” Smokescreen asked Arcee, who nodded.

Smokescreen sulked in a corner, “Why didn’t she tell me? I’m her partner! And she never said anything about this to me!”

“Buddy might have decided not to tell you since it might make you worry. That, and it’s hard to find a comparison for a Cybertronian lifeform for what she experiences. Even I struggle to wrap my head around it.” Optimus said.

“This could be disastrous.” Arcee replied, “Combined with who her father likely is, we might need to keep a close eye on Buddy. Even more than before. Ratchet, have you ever scanned her?”

Ratchet nodded, “Back when we first found her, yes. Is there something you want me to check?”

Jack piped up, “She said she has two scars, they’re very recent. Did those come up on your scans?”

After some typing, a figure that looked like Buddy showed up on the screen. Two points of trauma, one on her right lower arm’s interior, and one on her midsection. Ratchet nodded, “I was wondering what those were. How did that happen?”

“Not allowed to tell you,” Jack said, “it’s a bit… personal to her. It’s probably best if she tells you herself. I’m not breaking her trust.”

“It’s that bad, huh?” Ratchet sighed, “Very well. I’ll ask Buddy when she’s no longer in pain.”

“Hopefully she’ll be okay tomorrow. She might not feel comfortable coming to base tomorrow. Besides,” Miko cradled her cheeks in her fists while leaning against the railing, “she told me that she’s working on that dress! You know, the one she’s making that has a lot of red… for her sewing class?” The looks of confusion from the others proved that they had no idea what Miko was talking about.

“Nevermind.” Miko grumbled, walking to the couch and sitting next to Rafael. Next time Buddy goes on base, she’s gonna have so much to explain.

[When he first appeared on Earth, you were actually with with him- you two had been friends for such a long time, so he trusted you a ton.]

[Its at the end of Season 2 when you reveal yourself- you were gone for a while, and when he and the others go to Cybertron, you’re with the other ‘Cons and the kids... but you aren’t captured.]

[He tries to talk to you, upset, but you just shoot down his attempts, and simply wait for him and the others to hand over what you need in exchange for the kids.]

[After that, he just feels so upset- you were his friend, he cared about you. He talks to Bumblebee about it a lot after everyone reunites.]

First Aid

[He’d been the only in the Ark at the time- you would’ve been with him, but he had seen you leave a few hours ago... something you did a lot, refusing to explain where you went.]

[He hears a noise and turns, finding some Decepticons surrounding him, with you with the group—pointing a blaster at him.]

[First Aid is concerned—what’s going on? Is something wrong? He approaches, trying to talk you down, only to immediately get blasted by you.]

[A few of the other Autobots, such as Optimus, arrive right before you and the other’s leave—but you still get away pretty easily, and the others turn their focus on First Aid and what had been taken.]

[He’s sad/upset about what’s going on, but he still wants to try and talk to you- maybe he can get you to come back.]

Bumblebee

[He considers you to be his best friend—along with Spike—so he’s shocked when he’s being held over a cliff by you, who’s also holding a blaster against him, and helping the other ‘Cons with whatever their doing.]

[You don’t say a single thing, despite Bumblebee talking to you—pleading to you. Despite the visor and mask you were, he can tell you’re uncomfortable.]

[When the ‘Cons are finished doing whatever, and Megs is ordering you to throw him—you don’t, much to Bumblebee’s relief. You set him down—but you do give him a blaster-shot to the leg at least, before leaving.]

[Bumblebee’s upset. That’s really clear to everybody. He doesn’t understand why you’re doing this—is it maybe a Mirage situation? He’s not sure. He just... can’t believe that you’re evil.]

[He gets a lot of comfort from Spike and Optimus.]

Can I request a knight cybertronian!reader x TFP smokescreen who went to the same training with the elite guard (platonic)? the reader is a bit sassy but also cheerful, like imagine after the cybertron war they finally met eachother again on earth and Smokescreen were surprised that the reader were alive this whole time.

At this point in the war, the Elite Guard's once rigorous and nigh-torturous curriculum had been picked apart and stuck back together to teach recruits the bare basics of how to run around and fire a gun. That is to say that all the soldiers produced from said training were barely near the skill and prowess of a true Elite Guard due to the rushed training, and the decorum of a proper Elite Guard Ceremony had been thrown to the wind. While that is far from ideal, the autobots had grown desperate as more and more experienced soldiers joined the scrap heap.

All of the recruits in the platoon had some vague impression of the others, but most of—if not all of them—had been lured in by autobot propoganda to see the war and fighting for it as something glorious, with Optimus Prime as the face of the cause. Or perhaps they were required by law to draft. But that aside, Smokescreen wasn't the only bot there who had dreams of becoming a legend through throwing punches, shooting guns, and showing the cons who's boss.

It was practically impossible for you two not to know one another as you had to train together, spar together, and share barracks until the end of your training, so you were definitely friends. After training, while Smokescreen was assigned to security duty at the Iacon Hall of Records, you were "lucky enough" to be deployed on field.

He was beyond jealous, and if the two of you had kept any correspondence after your academy days, you could tell that he was pretty upset about it through the way he wrote "Congrats! Good on you for getting deployed!" Even though he wasn't saying that directly to your face, you could practically hear the way his teeth would grind against one another as he'd try to give a "sincere" smile (and you'd be a little worried his face would crumple up into a metal ball because of how hard he'd be clenching his jaw).

But anyway, for some time, the two of you may or may not have kept correspondence, but regardless it would start to dwindle as the planet became more and more uninhabitable by the day. At some point, neither of you had heard anything of or from each other, and never again would you hear from one another as Smokescreen would be captured by Decepticons and escape in a long-distance escape pod, and as you would continue the war effort and join team prime on Earth.

Your first-hand experience of the war jaded you, yet no matter what horrors you witnessed, you could still find it in yourself to smile and joke around, though you were now more experienced, and knew that the war wasn't as the propaganda made it out to be. Of course during your time on earth, Smokescreen hits the ground and the team investigates with you among them.

And once he revealed himself amidst the battle, you were able to recognize his brash, reckless style, and he'd recognize your sassy quips and voice anywhere. Given your previous history, you were able to corroborate his claims about his elite guard training, and where he was deployed afterward, but even then Optimus hadn't truly trusted him until he mentioned Halogen and Alpha Trion.

When he gets back to base and starts raving on about getting in on the action and beating up cons, a part of you feels some nostalgia for your academy days as you trained together, while the other feels some sort of disgust at how the war was "advertised" to the recruits. Speaking of the base, you get to take the honor of showing him around, and while you do, the two of you catch up.

Smokescreen's still as enthusiastic and eager as you remember, he truly hasn't changed a bit. But he notices the way you seem a little more... Reserved. You're still the you he remembers of course—one of the first things he's heard from you was your teasing about how he's a "quick thinker"—but even then, you're quieter and more exhausted than you used to be. For a moment he's a little worried the two of you wouldn't be able to connect with how much has changed, but soon these worries subside as the two of you start to chat again.

In no time, you're able to sympathize with the team's annoyance with Smokescreen's recklessness, but you can also understand where he's coming from and why he thinks this way. Rather than reprimanding him—well, you still do that too—you try to offer helpful advice and nudge him in a direction that'll better benefit the team, and he listens. Seeing as the two of you are friends, he tries to take your advice to heart, and you're one of the only people he'd really listen to (aside from Optimus) without needing to have someone yell it at him.

“Smokescreen? What are you—”--Arcee

The team notices the soft look on the bots face.

Smokescreen in the video places the camera down in a hidden location and hides.

A bot with a couple of data pads comes in.

“Smokescreen? Smokes’ where are—”--Buddy

“SURPRISE!”--Smokescreen

“GAH!”--Buddy

Smokescreen had jumped from his hiding place and tried to tackle the mystery bot.

The bot side steps and takes him down instead.

“You really need to stop trying to scare me Smokescreen.”--Buddy

“Ouch! And you need to stop throwing me around! That’s mean.”--Smokescreen

The bot flicks his helm.

“As your twin, it’s my job. And that arm strength comes with the job. Also you owe me for covering for your shift last cycle.”--Buddy

“And I am thankful for that.”--Smokescreen

The bot huffs before standing up with Smokescreen.

“C’mon, we gotta go meet with Alph Trion. We’re needed at Iacon. Those halls need to be protected now more than ever.”--Buddy

Smokescreen swings an arm around the bots shoulder.

“You worry too much Buddy. They aren’t going to come that close.”--Smokescreen

“You don’t know that.”--Buddy

“Maybe I do maybe I don’t.”--Smokescreen

The bot deadpan stares at him.

“You don’t. Now lets go.”--Buddy

The bot moves to the entrance while Smokescreen hurries back for the camera and turns it off.

The video stops.

Smokescreen had stayed quiet the entire time.

It wasn’t like Smokescreen at all.

The team didn’t know what to think with this new information.

Smokescreen had a twin?

Why didn’t he tell them?

Smokescreen didn’t talk much the rest of the day, even when confronted about the subject he’d find ways to escape the conversation.

Like using the Phaseshifter.

He did end up explaining more about the video to the team later on.

“Buddy… Buddy was my twin back on Cybertron. They were… they were the best twin any bot could have asked for. Strong, nice, best bot with a rifle on that side of Iacon…”--Smokescreen

“When was the last time you saw them?”--Jack

“It was on my last day on Cybertron, when they had finally infiltrated Iacon. Buddy was called up as one of the first bots to the problem… I haven’t heard anything ever since…”--Smokescreen

Bumblebee puts a sympathetic servo on his shoulder.

“But… something they did tell me was that whatever happened, that we would wait for each other before going into the Well of Allsparks. We were going to go together as twins.”--Smokescreen

Optimus places another servo on his shoulder.

“I am sorry to hear about your twin Smokescreen. But rest assure their sacrifice will not end in vain. We will win this war. For our lost loved ones and for the future of this planet.”--Optimus

Smokescreen smiles a bit.

“Til All Are One.”--Optimus

Meanwhile on the Nemesis…

The Decepticons had just come across one of their escape pods floating around the atmosphere.

The pod was brought inside for inspection.

Megatron walking with Breakdown to the med bay.

“Are you saying one of our own was found in the pod online?”--Megatron

“They were more in stasis, Lord Megatron. But it’s an honest surprise to see them here. I’ve only heard about them through reputation.”--Breakdown

They both walk into the med bay where Knockout is working on the bot on the med slab still unconscious.

Megatron smiles.

“Buddy. Our ranks youngest snipper… this will be interesting.”--Megatron

Could you please write where smokescreen is given a charge that he ends up seeing as a big sibling/mentor figure but tries to hide that out of embarrassment?

A/N: A fun request to write, hope you enjoy

•If we’re talking human years or the equivalent, Smokescreen is younger than you

•He can be quite reckless sometimes and also overconfident

•While things usually turn out fine for him, he has gotten in trouble with Ratchet multiple times for his antics

•So Ratchet figured maybe you would be able to get him to be a bit less reckless

•You were Ratchet’s charge originally, but he doesn’t really have the time to guard you or take you to places, so Smokescreen was given that job instead

•You teach Smokescreen a lot of things, mostly it’s about life on earth so he can adjust better

•The two of you tend to end up in some weird situations because of his curiosity and the fact that you want him to learn, even if it gets you both in trouble

•Then you’re like naughty kids trying to hide the broken vase from your parents aka Ratchet, and you blame each other for getting into trouble

•You’re also usually the voice of reason and make sure he doesn’t do anything too idiotic, or dangerous

•Smokescreen has learned a lot from you, and he looks up to you, but he doesn’t really want to admit that

•He makes a joke out of how cool he thinks you are and how much you’ve taught him, because he’s a bit embarrassed about it

•Of course he isn’t supposed to know everything about earth and humans, and how humans interact with others and stuff like that

•In a very older sibling fashion, you also have a tendency to tease him about things, and you sometimes argue like siblings too

•It’s usually pretty dumb stuff, like “Do penguins have knees?” you say yes, he says no, and his reasoning is that they don’t look like it, so nope

•You tease each other when one of you loses a match in a video game or something like that

•You’ve kind of taken on an older sibling role without even noticing it, and you two also talk a lot

•It’s not always the most profound stuff, sometimes you just talk total crap, but it’s fun nonetheless

Smokescreen is torn between looking away to disregard it as a normal human habit or slapping your hands away from your eyes before you damage yourself. He ends up just staring at you, completely frozen and looking very distressed.

Is it okay if you write a tfp!prime comforting someone with selective mutism after a panic attack they had at school or home or whatever? I've only just got to your blog but I saw you were taking requests and am in need of comfort. Preferably keep it platonic, and with as little to no physical interaction if possible. It had happened again, another panic attack. It was a simple mistake that’s what others would tell you but, your mind began to race anyways. Your chest feels tight with panic and your breathing quickens as you clutch your hands to yourself...

You shuttered at the memory and pulled your knees closer to your body as you hid under the bunker stairs.You cried silently to yourself as the panic began to subside slowly.

“Y/n, where are you?” Optimus’ voice rung out in your ears. You wiped your eyes and the remaining tears on your face before crawling out from beneath the stairs to face your big friend. You tapped on his peds gently. Optimus smiled and knelt down; allowing you to step onto his servo. “What is the matter?” You got out your phone and typed out a message.

‘I had another panic attack’

Optimus nodded and looked you in the eyes with his blue optics,

“Are you okay Y/n? Ratchet was researching the human psyche and he informed me that these can get very serious, I want to ensure you are safe and in a stable place.” Optimus’ voice soft with concern and worry. You shrugged and tapped out another response.

‘I guess I’m fine…..I just…I’m having a hard time’

Optimus nodded and slowly sat down on the floor, and turned on his radio and began to play a gentle song.

“I don’t fully grasp this more human aspect of strong feelings but I will stay with you for as long as I can.” Optimus closed his optics and relaxed. You smiled to yourself and laid down in his servo.

Somehow you knew it was gonna be okay.

IDW Misfire, TFP Smokescreen and Victory Kakuryu with Blind Reader

(TFP) Smokescreen, (IDW1/MTMTE) Misfire, & (Victory) Kakuryu with a blind Human/Cybertronian Reader:

Kakuryu

{You know about the Destrons/Decepticons & Cybertrons/Autobots, how could you not? Especially with everything that typically happened. But, you still never expected to run into one.}

{You were out for a walk with your dog, when said dog stops in their tracks, and starts growling at something in front of you. Then, you hear a sound- the sound of a transformation.}

{As soon as the mech starts talking, you’re able to recognize him as Kakuryu. You’ve heard him a couple of times in the past. You aren’t really scared of him, either. So you try to calm your dog down.}

{Long story short, the two of you end up becoming friends, and start visiting each-other. For a while, Kakuryu doesn’t actually know that you’re blind until you mention it while he’s trying to show you something.}

{He’s a little sad about hearing that, and asks you about it- which you reveal that you’ve just always been blind since birth, no accident happened.}

{Kakuryu always tries to make sure that you’re safe and that you don’t get hurt- especially when other Destrons/Decepticons and Cybertrons/Autobots are around, since you won’t be able to see where they are, or if any attacks are coming towards you.}

Smokescreen

{You went blind years ago during the early days of the war, and what had happened couldn’t be fixed. Smokescreen had vaguely known you before going to Earth, but didn’t know too much about you.}

{He originally didn’t know that Cybertronians could be blind, or that sometimes, it couldn’t be fixed.}

{Sometimes he’ll have a moment where he goes “Hey, look at this/look over here!” Or anything else along those lines, mainly because he forgets, but then he’ll apologize, at least.}

{He does have a few questions here and there, so it’s up to you if you wanna tell him any of it.}

Misfire

{You actually went blind right before meeting him and the Scavengers due to an accident shortly before, so you were still getting used to this.}

{You somehow forget to tell the group, so Misfire just assumes, and tells the others his assumption, that you must either just be really clumsy, or have bad optic-sight (partially true), whenever you keep bumping and running into things every now and then since you don’t know the layout.}

{He ends up spooking you a couple of times. He approaches you from behind, sometimes to play Shoot Shoot Bang Bang, or other reasons. He’s confused whenever you turn around and ask “Who’s there?” or sometimes say the wrong name.}

{You do learn the pattern of everyone’s footsteps though, so whenever Misfire starts approaching, or anybody else, you’re able to tell who’s approaching.}

{Finally, you end up realizing that you never told the group that you recently went blind- so you do that. Misfire decides to help you out. He’ll lead you to places on the ship, while also explaining things about said places- and he’s got a lot to say.}

{He offers to take you to Spinister and see if he can help you out, but it’s up to you.}
