You knew Dami was in your shared room doing a voice vlive and you knew you definitely shouldn't bother her until she was done, but the sight of her in a tiny cropped denim jacket and matching jeans left unbuttoned for the photoshoot showing off her Calvin Klein bra and boxers and her smooth, tan stomach made you lose sight of all rationality and walk into your room anyways.

She was talking to the fans about something (and you were too distracted by the fake tattoo on her hip to be bothered by what that something was), barely noticing or minding your presence. Had she known the thoughts running through your mind after an entire day of seeing her in that outfit, she probably would've shooed you away immediately, fearing the things you might do or say to her while the fans could hear.

But, she couldn't possibly know any of this as you got in bed and slid in between her and the wall, an innocent expression on your face disguising your true intentions. She simply sent you a curious glance, her attention still mostly on her phone as she scrolled through the live chat. You leaned onto your elbow and held your head up with your hand while you watched her fingers flexing as she flicked them across the screen. Just the simple action sent your mind wandering to past memories of late nights shared between you and her and a heat started rushing through your body.

When she brought the phone closer to her face to read something out loud, you watched her lips move, licking your own at the thought of what they tasted like. She shifted her jaw in thought, moving your gaze to her jawline and down her neck. At her movements, the muscles there tightened and relaxed, making you subconsciously swallow. You couldn't explain what it was, but something about her neck was so attractive and only worsened the burning in the pit of your stomach.

Dami must've noticed you staring, her eyes meeting yours with a curious expression. She raised her eyebrows, a hint of amusement on her lips. Well... until she finally recognized the look in your eyes. In that moment you scooted close enough so that your sides were touching and your faces were mere inches apart. You bit your lip and glanced at hers before sliding your hand down her body and placing it on her warm, bare stomach. The feeling of her soft skin was addicting and your fingers slowly moved lower until they met the waistband of her boxers.

You could tell your actions caught her off guard because her eyebrows raised slightly and she had to clench her jaw to stop herself from gasping. Although Dami wasn't one to give her feelings away easily, her tinted cheeks exposed just how much you were affecting her. Without sparing a second, you closed the distance to kiss her... except your lips never met, her hand shooting up to grip your neck. She let out a staggered exhale against your cheek through her nose and followed you as you pulled back slowly. It may have just been so that your lips didn't make a sound with their release, but the way she didn't seem too concerned about the voice live at that moment convinced you that she did it because she didn't actually want you to pull away.

Either way, when it ended, she still gently pushed you off of her, making sure to lightly remove your hand from her waist before looking back at her phone and quickly reading a comment in hopes that the fans weren't suspicious of the long silence and, more importantly, that they didn't hear any of what just went down between you two. Dami usually scolded you for your unprofessional behavior, but it was obvious that she was never actually mad at you. And you sometimes even wondered if she got off on exhilarating moments like these where you both knew you’d be in massive trouble had the fans somehow found out what was really happening.

For the next few minutes you decided not to test her patience and instead laid there on your side, staring at her. She was clearly uneasy after what just happened and thankfully ended the live not long after. Once she was sure it was turned off properly, she faced you. Unlike what you expected, she didn't start ridiculing you for your careless actions, but instead shoved your shoulder to lay you flat on the bed and climbed on top of you, situating herself between your legs.

Dami was never one to be this aggressive and you found your head spinning with both lust and confusion as she grabbed your neck again to kiss you deeply. Her other hand held her up so that all her weight wasn't on you, leaving a gap between your bodies. You’d never done anything to elicit this sort of reaction out of her and you didn’t know yet whether to be thankful or regretful for your previous actions.

You swallowed hard, feeling your pulse race from how different she was acting. Your head nodded on its own in response but she didn't seem satisfied.

"Say it,” she commanded in a deep voice. Her lips grazed across your jawline as she leaned in to whisper in your ear, “Tell me what you want." You shivered.

A few seconds after her words, you felt her fingers intertwine with yours where she held your hand at the head of the bed and your heart skipped a beat. You knew it was her way of reminding you that she would never do or say anything to make you uncomfortable. When you didn't answer immediately, she was probably worried that she’d taken it too far. But you needed her to know this is exactly what you wanted. So you replied,

can i ask, what’s wrong with dcc? i always hear that they kinda suck as a company, but from the vlogs i’ve seen, they’re one of the better companies. i’m not really as into dreamcatcher as some of the blogs on here even though i consider myself a stan, so i might not have the right information

okay. I feel like this is like opening my personal pandora box so this might be long. I'm pretty tired today so apologies in advance if this isn't very coherent asdkjh

dcc are a pretty decent company on a surface level, they treat the members well (which should be like the bare minimum for any company but I know that in this industry that's something to genuinely praise) and they actually change according/respond to negative feedback from the fandom etc when they or the members mess up (or they used to anyway).

for me it started in 2020 and how they handled handong's return. like the way they handled her absence was fine (good even, I would say), but the lack of hype for her actual return made things feel so underwhelming even though it was supposed to feel like a relief that she was finally back. I can't remember all the details anymore, but I do remember that the first time I felt like things were actually alright with dc was when they did the online concert crossroads in march of 2021. on that note I think most ppl were expecting ttol and dlm to be repackaged with ot7 versions and yet it's 2024 and they still haven't released them.

the handong stuff atp is water under the bridge tho, the group is fine, the members are fine, etc, I'm only mentioning it because that's when things started to feel really off for me.

so now we get into the actual things that happened that have left the fandom feeling burned out/frustrated/disconnected etc etc, whereas this happened to me at the end of 2022, I'm seeing more people now going through what I did back then:

I think the most pressing thing was that dcc didn't capitalize at all on dc's first win. they got their first win in april 2022 and didn't even do anything special in korea to commemorate it. it was a HUGE moment and they did nothing with it. usually after a group gets a first win you'll see them getting more promotions in korea, magazine photoshoots, mc deals, etc but dc just went on ahead to do festivals in europe and have a usa tour, these things are not bad but it was the lack of promotion in korea that in turn just made it all feel useless. that year dc also weren't invited to any end of year awards if I'm not mistaken so it all felt really disappointing and like all of the work we had as a fandom had been for nothing. I have to reiterate, dc/insomnias had been getting screwed over on music shows since 2019 with deja vu to get that first win, like I don't want to talk about the injustices the group and this fandom suffered through the years but it was a true story of resilience, so getting that first win in 2022 was a huge relief. to see it all going to waste was just... heartbreaking honestly.

when it comes to tours...... god I don't wanna get too much into it, but 4 tours in the usa in the span of 2 years is not normal. specially when they're prioritizing that over having a proper asia tour and the likes (AND promoting in korea??). latam tour is practically sold out rn and they're getting no merch or m&g benefits like the usa tour. I don't think doing exclusive things for a specific tour is bad per say, but you have to treat all your fans semi equally at least, specially for a group whose fanbase is majorly international (this will be important later), or it will happen what is happening rn which is ppl will leave the fandom. This is the first latam tour since 2019 (2017 for brazil!)... they've waited a really long time so personally (even tho this doesn't affect me bc I'm european) I feel like it's really disrespectful but wtv, onto other things.

now, speaking of the fanbase being majorly international, if this is the case, you'd think the company would make an effort to stream important events to their fans, like hmm the 7th anniversary concert perhaps? but nop, that didn't get streamed. a repetition of the dumbassery they did in 2022 where they split the concert and the members' solos in 2 days and only streamed one and so intl fans couldn't watch half the solo stages? and don't get me wrong, I think it's important that they have events that are korea only like they have the fansigns etc, but something as major as their 7th anniversary? when they've gotten here thanks to their international fans? that stings a little.

and lastly (maybe), we have dcc's usual lack of promotion during comebacks. fans always paying for ads, intl fans always doing the most for digitals even when it's Not their place (because this is smth that the korean fandom and dcc should be responsible for), fans having to reach out for vendors etc... Justice cb truly has been the culmination of the very worst promotions dcc has done tho and there have been some really bad promotions before... no radio shows, minimum interviews, barely any variety... were there even any ads? usually it's always fans paying out of pocket for ads. it just feels like throwing the members' and the company's work out the window for no good reason? Virtuous is one of their best albums and yet it feels like they just dumped it to go on tour again. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing btw, having short promotions in korea is fine but like... promote for real? give your fandom content that they can watch and rewatch for however long it takes your group to have another cb? specially now that it seems that they're shifting to one album per year (not sure this is their wisest decision tho all things considered), you have to make sure that you promote that album properly? which kinda also goes with like, giving your fandom enough time to save for what you release and put out, specially if you're not trying to grow the fandom anymore. if they're dropping an album then don't announce a tour on top of that, and if they're announcing a tour then don't announce a photobook on top of that, and if they've just released an album then wait longer than a month to announce a photobook, and if they've just dropped a photobook then wait a bit longer until announcing the re print of albums the fans have been begging you for 6 years to re print LOL bc all this does is frustrate fans who can't make that much money in such a short time and it's stupid. like. in 2018 I dropped like 200 euros for like their very first photobook BECAUSE I had time to save that amount from their you and I cb (may) to whenever it was announced (I think it was august), and that was the highest tier (so you could get it for much cheaper) and bc back then it was like. well they barely release anything other than albums, so it's fine (also shipping was sooooooo much cheaper I miss it everyday, ofc this is not their fault tho but anyways).

lastly actually, oh my god. that stupid ass app where fans pay a subscription to message the members privately? has been the fucking worst thing to happen to this fandom and the members imo. if fans weren't respecting their boundaries before, it's even worse now. but it's also like. yeah the members should be reinforcing those boundaries, and I get wanting to at least make a buck of those problematic type of fans but I just don't think it has been good for the members at all. I won't elaborate too much on this because it will genuinely piss me the hell off but bottom line: that app has been hell for everyone genuinely there is no bright side to it other than dcc makes money out of it. and there's better ways to make money :))))))))

All three sat with Danny in the Fentonwork’s living room, bracing Danny from all sides, warming Danny to the core from their support as he shared the truth. He was Half Ghost, and was the Ghost Menace, Phantom. “....You mean Invisobill?” Jack asked, his mouth working faster than his brain in the moment. All four of the Phantom Team sat awkwardly at that declaration. “Um, I honestly really hate that name? Like, from the first time I heard it.” “Wait, that can’t be…when did…how?” Maddie asked. Carefully, trying to spare his parents feelings, Danny laid out the events of his fourteenth year. The failed portal, the dare, the photoshoot, the trip on a loose cable. The on switch. The portal activating, giving him far more than a “minor shock” as he brushed off to his parents with his friends’ help. With Danny insisting he was fine and the portal working, the doctors Fenton moved on with their research.

Now they stared in horror. “And you’re…you’re not just some ghost possessing….” “We actually used the Fenton Dreamcatcher on Danny before,” Tucker interjected, pulling up one of the many videos he’d taken of their exploits on his laptop. The screen showed two entities. One was obviously Danny, though far more relaxed and unfocused than normal. The other was Phantom, this one far too rigid and vigilant. I’m only alive because, somehow, I only half died, and that half became a ghost. When I used the dreamcatcher, that almost destroyed me because neither half can really work without the other. If you try to reverse it, I either become a full ghost or a full corpse. “My ghost half keeps me sapient. My human half keeps me physical. And I’ve really gotten to know the ghosts; a lot of them have no interest in the human realm. I mean, you created a portal to a new dimension and all you’ve wanted to do is tear the denizens apart ‘molecule by molecule.’ You aren’t scientists with that attitude, you’re homicidal maniacs." Danny stood up. “I’m going to Tucker’s. If you want to talk, call first, but don’t call for at least three days. I want to know you aren’t calling in the heat of the moment.”

Ciao lovelies! Today, let’s talk about fun things to do in the summer!

Summertime is a lovely season. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, the birds are happy and so are you! Well, maybe. You might be bored as well. But I’m here to help, with 32 super fun things to do this summer!

 Learn a New Skill!

Something great to do with your freetime is to learn how to do something new. 

Some things I’d suggest are:

-Sewing! Sewing is great because you can make yourself new clothes, accessories, etc!

-Knitting! Knitting is said to be very therapeutic and fun, and you can make clothes and scarves and hats!

-Music! Teach yourself to play an instrument. A great instrument for beginners is Piano! I learned to play piano as a child and it helped me with math and other logic skills! 

-Dancing! Teach yourself some fun dances to do! YouTube is a treasure trove to find cool dances you could try and replicate! 

-Writing! Brush up on your writing skills this summer and write poems, short stories, or even a full book! Or just keep a journal. 

-Cooking! Summer would be a great time to learn new recipes! You could learn to cook or bake new things and let your family test your results!

Arts and Crafts!

Summer is a great time to do arts and crafts! I suggest first going on YouTube and making a playlist of diy ideas you want to do, and see if you can do all of them before summer ends!

Some DIY Craft Ideas:

-Pressed Flowers

-Hairbows

Check out any free local events!

Check your local papers and library for free local events! You could find tons of cool stuff, like concerts for local bands, local small conventions, volunteer opportunities, or the chance to meet new friends!

I also recommend going to your local library anyway to pick up some books on new, exciting subjects to learn about, like interesting periods in history or books teaching you some of the skills from #1! My local library even has a chess table set up, free to use for anyone! It’s tons of fun.

Go to the Beach!

A traditional and super fun thing to do in the summer is to go to the beach! There are tons of fun things to do in beach towns, so go nuts!

You could:

-Collect shells and make crafts with them later

-Do a fun beach photoshoot with yourself, some friends, and some dolls, or even pets!

-Get a henna "tattoo" from a local shop!

-Buy one of those super useless but fun tourist knick knacks and put it somewhere fun in your room!

-Take pictures and get them developed and make a scrapbook!

-Go swimming!

-Sunbathe!

-You can fish if the beach has a fishing pier!

-Eat ice cream or snow cones!

-Go in cosplay or costumes and walk along the boardwalk. For extra fun, stay in character!

-Take video and make a vlog out of it!

-Bring an instrument and play some music!

-Go boogieboarding!

The possibilities are endless. Going to the beach is a great way to make memories in the summer time!

Spend time with those you love!

-Spend time with your family! Take lots of pictures of them and make a scrapbook of all your family memories!

-Call your extended family for a fun chat!

-Spend time with your pets! Take them on walks, give them baths, give them treats, play games with them, scratch their favorite spots.

-Hang out with your friends! Arrange a sleepover! Or arrange a big meetup of all your friends and go out and do something special! Hang out at a park or go out on the town! Maybe film vlogs or take pictures!

-Spend time with your significant other if you have one! It’s okay to not have one, and don’t feel rushed to get one. If you have one, plan a nice surprise date. Or just go to the park or beach and sit calmly and talk with them!

STYLES I CAN DO (GIFS) • member/soloist + era - I'll get as many good videos and cams of as many different stages from a particular era as I can and make a set of 4 to 6 gifs • member/soloist + stage - tell me a specific stage that you want and I'll make a set of 4 to 6 gifs, typically these are member focused but I can do general stage if you want too • music video - can be a particular member focus or the mv in general, official mvs or performance videos, 5 to 7 gifs • color palettes - music videos only for these requests please, stages and performance videos don't tend to have enough color variation to be interesting - examples here

STYLES I CAN DO (GFX) • moodboards - tell me a member/soloist and either a color or an aesthetic/AU and I'll make a 9 pic moodboard for you - examples here • icon sets - tell me a member/soloist or group + a particular era or photoshoot and I'll make a set of 10 to 20 icons (100x100) - you can also request a certain style (vivid, faded, one color highlighted, vintage, etc) • scans - this one depends on whether or not I have the album in my possession, but tell me an album (version specific or not) and I will scan a selection of pictures, clean them up, and make a picture set for you - can be member specific

YEAR END CEREMONIES ( PART 1 )

( important note: for 2023′s year end ceremonies, this is split into two parts so this part will be for the IDOLS. )

with the year end season happening, all of the LGC artists ( idols/actors/models ) will be attending various events during the months of december and january.

( important note: for all of these projects, KANG MAXIMILIAN will be officially revealed as one of the new members of AGITO starting from NOVEMBER 28. )

SEASON’S GREETINGS

for 2024 season’s greetings, here are the following themes for each of the groups:

AGITO - EGARIM ( vaguely inspired by stray kids’ japanese season greetings 2023 ). in preparation for the season’s greetings, the AGITO members will be asked to pick a flower that best represents them and/or the group. the chosen flower will be used as a prop for the individual member photos.

CRYSTALLIS - WINTER IN AVERTINE ( vaguely inspired by aespa’s seasons greetings 2023 ). in preparation for the season’s greetings, the CRYSALLIS members will be asked to pick a crystal or gem that best represents them and/or the group. the chosen crystal will be used in the member’s crown ( for the individual photos, if it’s not too rare and/or expensive ) or as a prop that they would hold. due to the number of members in the group, there will also be unit photos ( eg. HYEJOO, SOMIN, YURA / ICHIKA, SOYOUN, YUXI / JAEHWA & YUJIN ) with their crystals. 

FABULA - TRIP TO FLORINTHE ( vaguely inspired by twice’s japanese seasons greetings 2022 ). in preparation for the season’s greetings, the FABULA members will be asked to fill out a survival guide handbook. in the individual member’s pages, there will be questions revolving around how they would survive florinthe and three tools or inanimate objects would they bring if they were stranded in a jungle ( florinthe ). those items will be used as props for the set of the individual members’ photos.

NOVA - DREAMS ARE LIKE STARS ( vaguely inspired by dreamcatcher’s season greetings 2022 [sweet dreams] ). in preparation for the season’s greetings, the NOVA members will be asked to choose a constellation that best represents them and/or the group. the constellations chosen will be displayed in the background of various group and individual photoshoots ( eg. sky background, lights on the bedroom, posters, etc. )

TYPE ZERO - SAILING WITH TZ ( vaguely inspired by nct 127’s season greetings 2023 ). in preparation for the season’s greetings, the TYPE ZERO members will be asked to fill out a passport-like booklet. in the individual member’s pages, there will be information about their sailboat ( to symbolize the group paving way for the other lgc groups & as the navigators in the webtoon ). they will be asked to briefly describe and name the boat. the name of their boats will be featured in the individual photos with some of the props that are given to them. 

VERSUS - ON TOP OF THE RUINA MOON ( vaguely inspired by nct 127’s seasons greetings 2024 ). in preparation for the season’s greetings, the VERSUS members will be asked to choose a moon or planet that best describes them. during the individual photos, their respective planet/moon will be displayed in the background.

the photoshoot and behind the scenes videos for this will take place sometime around november and december, depending on the groups and their schedules. each of the season’s greetings will come with a photobook, desk calendar, planner, sticker set, and photocards ( group and individual members ).

CHRISTMAS SONGS

each of the idol groups have been assigned a song that would be included in legacy’s upcoming christmas album. most of the filming and preparation for this will be done during DECEMBER 4-6. here are the songs that will be released in the christmas album:

WRITING REQUIREMENTS

SEASON’S GREETINGS: for this, there are two options available. A. write a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines ) thread with another member from the same group as you about the behind the scenes photoshoot OR B. write a 250+ word headcanon post about the prompt related to the group ( eg. representative flower = agito, representative crystal = crystallis, etc ). completing EITHER task will earn you +6 MODELING and +6 NOTORIETY !

YEAR END HOSTS: write a 300+ word solo or a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines; 2 posts per mun ) thread with another host from the awards/music show as your muse about preparing for the show, behind the scenes, presenting the awards, or watching the performances for +5 MCING/HOSTING and +4 NOTORIETY ! ** only for JAEHWA, JAESUN, HARU, SOYOUN, YURA, NABI, and ICHIKA **

BEHIND THE SCENES: write a 300+ word solo or a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines; 2 per mun ) thread with another idol about year end rehearsals, practices, behind the scenes and recording ( for the christmas songs ), performances, etc. completing this will earn you +6 POINTS TO DISTRIBUTE ANYWHERE and +8 NOTORIETY !

2023 REVIEW: write a 300+ word headcanon post ( minimum ~60 words per each question ) or 300+ word solo about your muse reviewing through everything that has happened to them during 2023. if you choose to write it as a solo, it will be done as the muse having a one on one meeting with their manager as they discuss their performance reviews and goals for the upcoming year. with either option, it must include at least 4 of the following components/questions: “what were some of your greatest accomplishments this year and out of all of them, which one was the most memorable one for you?”, “what area(s) do you think you’ve personally improved on since the beginning of this year? [please list out the skill(s) and reason(s) why]”, “what are some of your personal goals for 2024?”, “in the group, what do you consider your biggest weakness and what can you do to improve on it?”, “aside from the role attached to you (eg. main vocalist, lead dancer, etc.) what else do you think you contribute to the group?”, “as a group, what do you hope to accomplish in the next year or two?”. completing this will earn you +7 POINTS TO DISTRIBUTE ANYWHERE !

Some random cabin pics. I decided to put a couple dreamcatchers above their hammock (I like to think that Charles and Blair would have bought a lot of handcrafted stuff from the Wapiti tribe before Charles helped them get up north, both to assist in any way that they can and because they enjoy stuff like that ♥) but I realized halfway through my photoshoot that it looked like a :) and I couldn't unsee it.

Also swapped out the birch tree for a smaller one but I honestly don't remember why I did that now lol

😅 I was wondering what you would think about the CURSE(D?) album versions - I usually only get the limited version (+ platform), but the normal versions look incredibly appealing! They remind me of magazines for a coffee table or dentist's waiting room 😆

I buy the limited and regular versions but not platform versions because, [gestures vaguely around this blog], I have always been in it for the physical print media above everything else. I suppose really I could just buy the limiteds now since those are the ones I'm flipping through regularly — the original intent was for me to crack the spines of the normal editions not the limiteds because they're thinner and therefore its a bit easier to do but then The Horrors Happened (limited edition exclusive photoshoots and the numbers not lining up) and I started having to hold up the limited editions one handed anyway while searching for the right angle of the light — but especially this time around with the normal editions being larger and looking completely different (AND COOL) I think they continue to earn their spot (on a different shelf...)

Some of the biggest clownery of my life was when I finished my album collection in Summer Holiday era and said all proud and accomplished "I love how Dreamcatcher's albums always have the same dimensions, they look so beautiful in my shelf. Can't want for the next trilogy!" I have not known peace since.

Valentine’s Traditions (Dreamcatcher)

Handong

Valentine’s day, a day to show how much you love your significant other and vice versa. A day where too many feel pressured to buy the right gift and arrange the perfect romantic date night, kind of taking the love out of the day. This is why you and Handong decided on your second Valentine’s together that your first one was perfect why not repeat the same traditions the next year, maybe with a change or two sprinkled in to spice things up. This would be your fourth Valentine’s together.

Since you still didn’t live together because Handong lived in a dorm with other members of Dreamcatcher, you wake up to a sweet declaration of love via text and you reply with something even sweeter.

As you leave your bedroom someone buzzes your intercom. Outside your door you find a delivery man holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers, cliche but Handong knew how much you loved flowers and liked to have fresh ones in the apartment, along with a plain looking cardboard box.

Inside the box is a box of your favourite chocolates, and a small ring box that opened to reveal a metallic rat charm representing her Chinese zodiac sign. You both had matching charm bracelets and got each other charms to symbolise the other so that you were always together. This year you got a custom snake charm made to give to her.

Before you can send a photo to her of you enjoying the gifts Handong sends you one, showing off her charm, handmade knitted scarf and a box of her favourite sweets.

Today Handong told you Dreamcatcher had a photoshoot so she wouldn’t be able to see you until the evening which you were fine with, because you planned on ordering takeout and watching movies.

However the intercom goes off again which confuses you because you weren’t expecting anything or anyone else. Leaving your goodies in the lounge, you check the intercom to find a person in front of your door obscured because they were holding something in front of them. Usually you wouldn’t open the door but no one could get into your building unless they had a code or were buzzed in.

‘Hello--’ you say, as you open the door only to freeze upon coming face to face with a giant bear teddy.

‘SURPRISE!’ A familiar voice shouts.

‘Handong?’ You ask, confused.

The person brings down the teddy revealing Handong smiling brightly which made your morning.

‘I don’t have a schedule today so we can spend the whole day together, happy Valentine’s y/n,’ she says excitedly and thrusts the teddy at you, ‘here’s another cuddle buddy for you when I’m not around.’

Now this was one way to spice up your Valentine’s tradition, and spending the whole day together wasn’t something you were going to complain about.
