Christmas with the BSD Cast!

a/n! Okay so I really wanna write a part two, so PLEASE if you want a character from BSD send me an ask, I know its close to the end of the holiday season but any requests are welcome! These are just my takes on how they’d spend the holidays!

Includes; Dazai, Atsushi, Ranpo, Kunikida, Yosano, Chuuya, Akutagawa, Oda.

I believe there are a lot more fem!reader elements than I meant there to be, but I tried to keep it neutral I apologize!

Christmas with the BSD Cast PT2

Dazai;

-Definitely plays in the snow, can't change my mind.

-You'll probably be out around Yokohama looking at lights and seeing how pretty it is covered in snow.

-Makes you wear his coat around because he thinks you look adorable.

-Never wants you to be cold, and forces you to bundle up to the gods due to it.

-Takes you to cafes for hot chocolate (with Kunikida's money ofc). Also totally wants to go ice skating with you, because you just KNOW this man is graceful and he wants to teach you.

-He'd probably get you something you've been talking about all year but didn't realize it. Like a certain manga, pair of shoes, article of clothing etc. He's very observant. Maybe something to match with him :). He's much more about the experiences rather than the gift giving though.

Atsushi;

-He likes going out as well, but his favorite is when you stay inside with him.

-Wants to watch cheesy Hallmark movies with you because they're heartwarming.

-Definitely a big fan of helping you decorate his place for the holidays, since he's never done it before. His favorite is putting the lights up and watching them turn on after all the hard work!

-Buys you something comfy, like a comfort item. Maybe a teddy bear (tiger ofc) but probably not a tiger on purpose, and he won't realize why that's adorable until you tell him and he's a blushing mess.

Ranpo;

-Ever seen a bakery at Christmas? Well fear not, now you will.

-He's taking you to all the best places for Christmas themed snacks, and will most certainly buy Christmas cookies for you to bake while he sits on the counter watching you.

-Enjoys watching you dance around the kitchen to Christmas music, he could watch that all day.

-Ranpo is for sure taking you to spend time at the with Fukuzawa, because the two of you are very important to him. Look forward to fun dinners with the ADA.

-Most likely buys you books or art supplies if you do that. He loves when you sit at his desk with him when you visit and you read those predictable novels of yours. Definitely gets you a side present of a baking book on all his favorite snacks. ;)

Kunikida;

-Stays at home with you, holidays are hectic and he likes the peace and quiet of just relaxing with you at home.

-You probably eat popcorn and watch something while he goes over his schedule a billion times until you curl up next to him and he stops.

-Naps together! It's cold outside but the two of you can be warm together. He likes to cuddle you on the couch in front of the fire place.

-Gets you something simple and thoughtful, but practical. I could honestly see him getting you a bonus gift of a taser for when people get too creepy with you. But still gets you something more meaningful. Maybe a planner full of cute plan ideas for the two of you in the upcoming months.

Yosano;

-Shopping, tons of it.

-You are out at the mall with her a lot, hitting every sale and outlet there is. She likes buying you things, and you can pick things out for her in return.

-She doesn't mind the crowds, but if you do, she'll go at a later time when less people are out.

-Will never have you carrying bags, she'll drag someone who doesn't have plans along to carry the items.

-Christmas present is a fancy new outfit tailored just for you. She loves fashion, and if you share that love she is over the moon to get you whatever dress/outfit you want.

Chuuya;

-This man is not short on any money, so whatever you wanna do is on the table. He just wants to be around you at all times, that's all.

-Dinners are very important to him, so taking you to his favorite places or even cooking at home with you will be his favorite part.

-Likes to enjoy the finest wine with you in front of a warm fireplace, just cuddled next to each other.

-Matching pjs, do it, he'll pretend he hates it but he loves it. Thinks you both look amazing and will take pictures. Its going on his desk in a frame.

-Buys you whatever you look at for too long. He wants you to have everything you've ever wanted because he loves you.

-Totally the type to buy you a beautiful necklace or bracelet with his name on it. Not only is it hot af to him, he likes his name and knowing you wear it. Could buy you a whole ass vacation or car if you wanted, but he thinks its the little fancy things.

Akutagawa;

-When he sees you decorating home, he takes you to his office because he wants you to teach him how to decorate it. It will remind him of you when he has to go into work during December.

-You spend time with his fam! You enjoy being around them and visiting, maybe more than Akutagawa. Gin is always so sweet to you.

-Another at home kind of man. Everyone pushing and shoving him at stores while trying to get presents will result in murder, so he'd rather not. Got your present months in advance to avoid such nonsense.

-Lays in your lap on the couch and let's you tell him stories or just talks. Not a big fan of the movies because he thinks they're overrated, but loves hearing your voice. Play with his hair until you both fall asleep please.

-As for a gift, he had to ask Gin a lot of questions, reluctantly of course. She told him to maybe not get you a gun, and instead opt for something more meaningful.

-That's right, tiny Rashomon plushie, you adore his Rashomon and he was absolutely taken aback when you said it was cute. This plushie means the world to you.

Oda;

-To the orphans! He is so in awe when you play with the kids, whether it be tag or hide and seek. He loves taking you to see them.

-Probably takes you shopping, but the two of you are buying presents to donate and give to the kids that you two have basically adopted.

-Most likely to dress up as Santa for them, and in doing such makes you his Mrs. Claus.

-Takes you to the place where he realized he wanted to be a writer. The both of you just read, (or write) and on the way back home you enjoy a talk of books and fantasy worlds.

-Likes when you lean on his shoulder or lay in his lap, will watch or do whatever you want as long as you're happy.

-His gift was super handmade, a book of all the things you've done together, a scrapbook sort of. The kids probably helped him decorate it, but he wrote all the lovely words inside. Detailing how happy he is to be with you.

☆ Smut + a little bit of crackheadness

Hearing the giggling of his coworker was normal, at least that’s what Atsushi told himself. The suicidal maniac was particularly chipper today and everyone noticed.

“Atsushi could you finish my paperwork for me.” His eyes widened and he pouted, “pleaseeee.”

“Dazai do your own.” Atsushi sighed.

“Ugh please! I’ll be late and then I’ll get in trouble and then I won’t get my present.” Fake tears welled in the man’s eyes.

“What are you on about now?” Kunikida piper up, clearly over Dazai’s weird mood.

“Ko will be mad I gotta gooo.”

“Who’s Ko?” Kenji asked. Naomi and Kyoka looked towards him with wide eyes, they wanted to know as well.

“Hm? Ko is my girlfriend.” He said nonchalantly.

Beat

“WHAT!” The agents yell. Dazai laughs, throws the last few pages onto Atsushi’s desk and slips towards the door.

“What’s the racket?” The President appeared around the corner with a raised brow.

“I have a date and must be off!” Dazai exclaims. Fukuzawa merely nods.

“Dazai.” Naomi called, he turned and tilted his head. “Why didn’t we know this? Who is she? What’s she look like? Is she beautiful? How long have you been together?”

“So many questions.” He smiles. “I can spare a moment to talk about my wonderful Ko!” If sparkles could appear in the air they would have.

“So-“ Ranpo prompts. What? He was intrigued as well- he hadn’t deduced that Dazai was in any kind of relationship.

“Well firstly, I like to think of work and private life separately. She’s a criminologist and I a private eye, we don’t really talk about work so I guess I just didn’t here. We’ve been dating nearly a year and she’s the most perfect woman ever.” His eyes gleamed in excitement. “She knows so many suicide methods it’s wonderful and she doesn’t think I’m weird!”

At that comment the ADA looked at Dazai with annoyance of course his girlfriend knows something about suicide methods to deal with him.

“Then why do you keep asking other women to die with you?” Atsushi asks.

“Hmm? Because I have to practice before I ask her. It’s a proposal after all.” The ADA stood still in shock as the man happily left the office on his way to his date. Once gone they erupted with questions.

“Do we follow?”

“He didn’t say what she looked like?”

“He seems pretty happy.”

“Wonder how they met.”

The president smiled at the mess but stood in thought. Dazai had unintentionally reminded him that he had to meet with his daughter in a few days to meet her boyfriend finally. That should be interesting.

Dazai walked along merrily, Kosuke was waiting at her apartment for him. His hands were tucked into his pocket, his fingers playing with the small Present in his left pocket. He bought her a necklace, nothing super fancy just a silver chain with two birds on it. Small, pretty and perfect for his favourite person.

The apartment door was beckoning him closer, his fingers twitched around the keys in excitement as he unlocked the door. Kosuke was waiting patiently at her dinner table, the food was warm and ready to be eaten when she heard the door unlock. Dazai walked in and grinned at the silver haired woman who quickly stood and ushered him to the table.

“How was work?” She asked.

“It was good but not interesting, just paperwork.” She rolled her eyes, she knew he’d probably give the paperwork to someone else to do. “Don’t roll your eyes I actually did most of it except like five pages. It was just signing things anyway... you?”

Kosuke sat beside her lover and smiled. “No new cases to look over nor and criminals to understand their minds. Anyway no more work talk eat up and then I’ll give you a gift.” She winked.

“Oh my my Kosuke I am indeed excited. Here for you.” He passed her the necklace box and opened it. She smiled and blushed, she loved it.

“It’s gorgeous... actually Osamu.” She bit her lip towards the handsome man. “How about we forgo dinner and get take out later? I’m not the best cook anyway.”

“My darling Ko, I’d love to skip to desert.” He reaches forward and captured her lips in a deep kiss, his fingers trapping themselves in her silver locks. Her metallic blue eyes closed slowly as she moved into the kiss, her own hands reaching forward to tug at him. “Bedroom.”

The adventure that was making it to her bedroom was difficult when making out and attempting to strip oneself of unnecessary clothes. Beneath her green dress was lacy underwear that he’ll have to remember she owns so he can toy with her another night tonight was something sweet and passionate, relaxing and needing. Finally being able to remove his pants he stood before her arms and neck bandaged while Kosuke herself wore a bandage around her neck.

Last week they’d spoken about this, how they wanted to show everything- yes they’d been together nearly a year but sex more often then not involved still wearing the bandages and they wanted to remove them, even if just for tonight.

Kosuke moved first, her hands trailing Dazai’s toned stomach, thumbs grazing small scars and bumps before beginning to undo the first bandage on his arm. His arms were scarred, his neck held a perpetual bruise from his hundreds of attempts and he knew she didn’t pity him, he knew she’d never say anything to push him away just as she knew he’d not be disgusted by the scar on her neck. He was lost in thought, staring at the underwear clad woman, he didn’t notice she’d undone the other arm. Her hands rested on his chest and she looked at him.

“I don’t have to take off this bandage.” She said. He stared at her.

“Take it off, I’ll take yours off too.” A hand cupped her cheek as he kissed her softly. Her smooth hands were quick and skilled as she removed the wrappings around his throat. Her thumb rubbed over the darkened skin before cupping his cheek instead. His own hands moved on their own, it felt strange not having the bandages on, he reached her neck and undid the bandage. The pink scar at the base of her neck spoke volumes and the rope burn that wrapped around her neck spoke even louder. If anything he thought Kosuke looked even more beautiful like this.

“You’re beautiful.” He whispered resting his hands on her hips as his lips pressed against her neck. She sighed. He lightly bit the soft skin to elicit a moan. Quickly he removed her bra and palmed her chest, moving the heat from his palms around her body. She melted into the touch, her own hands dancing around his body before trailing to his briefs. She snapped the elastic against his skin and he hissed softly.

Being that she was slightly taller she had to lean a tiny bit towards him not that he minded, in fact he loved it, he loved her and everything about her. She pushed him towards the mattress and landed beside him, he rolled over till he was above her and between her thighs. His length twitched and hips bucked forward when his lower half met with hers.

For a few moments that’s all they did, grinding against each other while their hands exploded the others body. Kosuke’s hands knotted themselves in his hair, holding him close as their tongues fought for dominance. She let him win. Dazai sat back on his calves and Kosuke raised a brow.

“What’s up babe?”

“Can’t decide if I want to eat you out or fuck you.” He shrugged.

“Fuck me now and then wake me up in the morning with that tongue of yours.” She smirked, he reflected her face with his own and quickly moved to remove their last article of clothing each. His hands smoothed over her thighs, spreading them a little.

“So impatient and wet my love.” He giggled. Kosuke went to speak but Dazai oh Dazai had swiftly entered her till he was balls deep.

“Osamu!” She exclaimed with a rather loud whine. He’d never get over those gorgeous sounds nor the way she’d claw at his back (or chest when she rode him). Did her nails sting? Yes. Did he love the sting? Also yes. Slowly he rocked into her a moan sitting in the back of his throat. Her back arched up as he made one quick movement to thrust into her just right, she exposed her neck and he couldn’t control himself as he began scattering kisses and hickies over the soft and sensitive flesh, he was going to mark her good and he hoped she would too.

“Fuck fuck.” He growled as his pace picked up, his hair stuck to his face with sweat, his arms shook as he lent over the tall woman and moved to kiss her again. “You’re so fucking beautiful you know.” He moaned.

“Osa-mu.” She moaned against his lips. “I love you.”

“I love you... I love you too.” He groaned, she clenched around him and fuck did that make him wild. His thrusts became quicker and more erratic and her legs flung around his hips pulling him closer, heels digging into his lower back. He moaned, loudly. “Are you close?”

“Cum for me.” He breathed, one hand snaked between their bodies and rubbed against the sensitive bundle of nerves and she lost it. Her body twitched and shook and clenched around Dazai’s as she came. Dazai followed quickly pumping into her sloppily as he came inside her. “Kosuke.” He moaned before collapsing beside her.

Somehow, someway they pulled up a blanket and fell asleep together- Kosuke would clean the sheets in the morning.

When morning came Dazai was delighted to see Kosuke was still beside him, breathing slowly with a hand on his heart. She liked to know his heart was still beating, it’s cute. Suddenly his mind flashed with images of the night before and a sneaky smile made its way onto his face as he looked to the woman cuddled to his side.

“Fuck me now and then wake me up in the morning with that tongue of yours.” She had said and oh how he planned to as he slipped beneath the blankets and from her grip.

Waking up like that was absolutely wonderful- she’d admit unabashedly as his tongue worked magic against her core. And by the time she’d returned the favour of course someone had to call right as he’d finished in her mouth.

“Ugh it’s Kunikida.” He groaned and pressed answer. “Yes?”

“You are late for work.”

“No I’m not I don’t work today.”

“Yes you- oh... I see your schedule apologies.”

“Could he not call so early in the morning.” Kosuke grumbled.

“Now now Ko you have plenty of time to mark me before tomorrow.” Dazai giggled.

“Oh I- uh... is that your girlfriend?” He kind of wished he was at work now, just to see the uptight mans face.

“Yep. Now excuse us we wil continue where we left off BYE.”

Back at the office Kunikda was brighter than a tomato as he stared at the paperwork in front of him. Atsushi waved a hand in his face to get his attention.

“Kunikida?”

“After a brief phone call we can assume those two have an active lifestyle and I called them in the middle of it.” He cried. Atsushi, Kenji and Kyoka blinked in confusion whilst Yosano laughed so hard she was doubled over.

Ah what a lively bunch.

★ what kind of phone do they have?

Chuuya - A high-end smartphone that’s technically a few years out of date but still functional. He could upgrade it but doesn’t see much point; cell phones are the type of tech he’s invested in pouring money into. 

Alcott - An older-model, flat flip phone. It does its job, and she has a cute flower charm attached to it. She could afford something newer by now, probably, but this one was a gift shortly after joining the Guild, and she doesn’t want to part with it. 

Ranpo - A smartphone that he doesn’t use much, despite the number of games he has saved on it. He tried to use its GPS navigator once and ended up getting lost for the better part of a day. (But hey, he found a really good ramen place out of it.)

☆ what is their phone’s background?

Chuuya - His background is a bottle of wine being poured into a glass. His lock screen is a picture of his motorcycle. (They used to be different, once upon a time, and he still has the photos he used back then saved on the phone.)

Alcott - Her phone is so old that its background is a simple color: a soft teal.

Ranpo - His background is a picture of Karl! ... Really. It’s Karl. Poe’s just in it. Because he’s holding Karl up to the screen. His lock screen is someone’s hands as they’re writing something furiously. The edge of the sleeve that can be seen looks a little familiar...

Chuuya - The chorus of a rock song he’s liked for years. Once upon a time it’d get changed every so often to things he hated, but that hasn’t happened in so long he’s almost forgotten it would ever happen.

Alcott - A little piano melody that’s loud enough to hear but soft enough not to startle her. 

Ranpo - One of those obnoxious ‘ringtones’ that’s just a voice telling you to ANSWER THE PHONE. Sometimes he’ll switch it up for an obnoxiously-catchy pop song that’s popular right now.

❉ do they have any pictures on their phone?

Chuuya - He has some recent pictures from outings with the other members of the mafia that he’s reasonably close to,but most of the photos on his phone are old ones that he can’t bring himself to get rid of but doesn’t want to look at so he pretends they’re not there.

Alcott - A very old, very grainy picture of her family, taken with the phone’s poor-quality camera. It’s the only one she has on it, but it’s enough.

Ranpo - Quite a few! He likes taking pictures of sweets he’s going to eat that are as visually appealing as they are tasty, so that he can keep them forever and still eat them. He even did a photo diary of his snacks for a month and never bothered deleting those pictures. There’s also a few candids of his coworkers taken when he was bored, a cool bird he saw out the window, one of Kenji’s plants on top of a computer, and more than a few candids of Poe.

✯ what do their texts look like? do they use emojis often? what kind?

Chuuya - [to: mackerel] stop texting me when i’m in the middle of a job. i know you know i am i fucking saw you waving at me. 

Alcott - [to: Mother] Is everything alright at home? I haven’t heard from you in some time, so... I was worried.

Ranpo - [to: ed] hey ed r u busy if ur not i have something 4 u so lets meet up ok ^u^

⍟ any games on their phone? what kind? how often do they play?

Chuuya - ...He has Neko Atsume and he has spent significant amounts of real money on spoiling his pixel cat visitors. Tell no-one. He has a few card and puzzle games, too. 

Alcott - Herr phone is too old for any good games, but it does have centipede and a difficult-to-control pinball game.

Ranpo - His phone is 95% games. Card games and puzzle games, mostly, things that are distracting and colorful and fun. It’s useful to fidget with, and he’ll try just about anything once if it’s recommended to him, but he’s pretty quick to forget them if they can’t hold his interest.

♌ how do they drink their coffee/tea?

Chuuya - For his coffee, he drinks it black and gulps it down. It’s something he drinks for energy rather than for pleasure, so he doesn’t care too much about the taste. With tea, he’ll add sugar, but only if he thinks no-one’s watching. It’d be embarrassing to be caught adding sugar to it.

Alcott - She doesn’t drink coffee, and when it comes to tea she puts honey in it to sweeten it.

Ranpo - He can’t drink either one plain; with coffee he will only drink it if it’s flavored and full of cream and sugar, so much so that it can barely be called coffee any more. Tea needs milk and a lot of sugar, as well --- really, they’re more like sugar with a little coffee or tea added to them. 

♒ their cleaning routine - laundry/dishes/cleaning the rooms

Chuuya - He keeps his home pretty meticulous; his suite at HQ is cleaned by the same people who handle other higher-ups’ quarters, but at his house he’s the only one who keeps it clean, and he makes sure to do the dishes at least once a day and drop his clothes by dry-cleaning once a week as necessary. (Less delicate clothing he’ll handle every few days.) General cleaning he’ll do after work whenever he has the energy. It’s relaxing.

Alcott - She tries to keep a routine, but she isn’t obsessive about it. Laundry once or twice a week, dishes every day or two, and she’ll go over and do basic cleaning every two weeks or so.

Ranpo - Things like laundry and dishes don’t really cross his mind --- they happen around him, generally, unless he’s bribed into doing them, and as for regular cleaning, he... isn’t a slob, but he does tend to get distracted and will leave things lying around without bothering to put them up. It’s not like he’ll forget where he put them, so it’s not a big deal.

🌷 what do they have in their wallet?

Chuuya - Cash (over 25,000 yen / 250 USD, on average, sometimes upwards of 50,000 yen / 500 USD), credit/debit cards and his license. He doesn’t need to keep more in it than that, and he’s not particularly worried about it getting stolen (by anyone but Dazai at least.), so what does he care about a few raised eyebrows about walking around with a lot of cash money on hand?

Alcott - A picture of her sister Elizabeth, about 1500-2500 yen / 15-25 USD, her ID and a membership card for her favorite chain bookstore. 

Ranpo - His cash candy fund of about 3000-5000 yen / 30-50 USD, an old photo of his parents, his address, and a folded-up map. There may or may not be a few old crushed M&Ms and melted candy in one pocket.

ꕥ what’s usually in their trouser/jacket pockets or purse?

Chuuya - His keys, his phone, his wallet, a lockpicking kit, and a packet of cigarettes.

Alcott - Lip balm, extra pens, her phone, her wallet, some loose spare change, and a tin of mints.

Ranpo - At least two packages of candy or snacks, though it varies between things like kit-kats and lollipops or boxes of pocky or gummies, etc. His wallet. A magnifying glass (that he doesn’t use but he just... he just wants it, leave him be), and of course, his glasses.

🍀 what kind of jewellery are they wearing? what’s their favourite peace?

Chuuya - He has his choker, but other than that doesn’t really wear much jewelry. There are other ways to look fashionable than that --- though he will sometimes wear it on his rare off days, if it’s something that’s needed to complete the look he’s going for.

Alcott - She has a necklace that she wears under her shirt. It has a pendant on it that’s shaped like a bird in flight. That’s her only real jewelry piece, but she’s very attached to it.

Ranpo - He doesn’t wear jewelry --- it’s not comfortable and it’s more to bother with ---, but he does keep his parents’ wedding rings in a box at home.
