I tried the Penance Solo strat for 7-18 for the heck of it (well, nearly solo, I used one Surtr to chomp down half of phase 1 Patriot, but that’s it) and...it was honestly shocking how easy it was. My Penance is E2LV59, and her S3 only has M1, and it chewed through Patriot like nothing. Didn’t even reach her actual health bar.

Like, that is weird, because like, yeah you could cheese 7-18 pretty easily for a while now, or at least a part of it. Like, at this point most players know that if you have Mountain or Mudrock, you can just place them in front of the blue box and all you needed to worry about was Patriot and maybe the guys that come swarming in between phases. 

But, like, that was the thing. Even with operators that could “solo” 7-18 before, you still needed to pay a lot of attention to Patriot himself. You needed to find a way to get him down to phase 2 as fast as possible, and made sure that whatever skills you had were ready to go the second his invincibility went down so you could take him down as quick as possible because with his aura and spear throw every second Patriot is still alive is bad fucking news for your entire party.

But Penance? Just make sure you have him at phase 2 by the time he reaches her, pop S3, and he’s gone. The damage even at mastery 1 is just fucking insane. No mines for extra damage, no worries about the aura eating up health, just let the Judge bonk him on the head for a couple second and boom. Done. His aura actually makes things easier because Penance gets her skill back in like, five seconds. So you don’t even have to time it.

It isn’t brainless, but geez. This stage is a fucking nightmare for any player encountering it for the first time. It took me twenty tries to cinch it myself. Even veterans can struggle with it if they slip up. But with Penance? No fucking problemo mio amico, not a single fucking problem.

Have you seen the drama between hybe and the ceo of ador? Any thoughts?

I have two conspiracy theories currently. First, I wonder if she is the one behind the leak of JKs apartment video 🤔 mainly because it has been said that she and other executives allegedly leaked artists personal information and used it to create negative media play. JK was NJ biggest competition last year. If it wasn't for his short tracking time he would've beat NJ in the end of year award categories, and after reading Adors statement they clearly don't like competition since all of this is allegedly because the new girl group illit is copying NJ. I also wonder if she could've been behind all the issues layover faced last year, but I don't feel too strongly about this because of my theory #2

Theory #2. What if she has been planning to convince Tae to come with her once she buys out ador. She worked with him on layover, NJ seems to often promote his work, and they visited Tae at the military base recently too 🧐 I know Tae re-signed with bighit but seeing how many kpop idols have been leaving their companies lately to have someone else handle their solo careers makes me wonder if this could be the case for Tae.

My my.. it really is a whole situation right! I’m quite curious to see how things play out. What it looks like to me is that maybe Min Hee-jin is morally right, but legally either wrong or failing. I can understand her (and the whole of Ador, since that’s what it looks like) wanting to leave Hybe. I can also understand Hybe not wanting that. Things like this are always way more complicated behind the scenes than we are made aware of though. Any statements made by both sides are carefully constructed and try to paint a picture that’s in their best interest. So I have no clue what’s the actual story right now, I fear Min Hee-Jin is going to pull the short end of the stick here.

Though I do think that footage of Jk was published to harm him, I am careful to point to an actual source. There’s many who would benefit from him getting bad publicity and there’s many who just want him to do badly without having a reason beyond personal hate. Is it possible this cane from Ador? Sure, do we have anything actually pointing to that.. no. Members have been working with New Jeans through TikTok vids, Min Hee-Jin worked closely with Tae.. so I’m not really suspecting it was her doing. Though the entertainment business in general is a shitty one and not much would surprise me.

I think Tae’s cooperation with her was partly due to the connection with Hybe and partly due to him liking her ideas. It’s possible he was/is interested in signing with them. I’m not sure how much room he has to sign with anyone other than BH though. Again, contract stuff is complicated and it’s often only in hindsight that we are able to make anything out of it.

Like, Toki being a huge Skwisgaar fan is the worlds worst kept secret. Everyone knows that Toki loves/obsesses/fans over Skwisgaar. It's in interviews, it's in photos, it's in the merch. Its like the fan communities running joke that Toki is Skwisgaar's biggest fangirl before she's a guitarist. But what they don't know is that Skwisgaar is an even bigger fan of Toki but that secret is sealed tighter than the nuclear codes for every country. You know that fanart of Toki listening to Skwisgaar's solo #1,697 or something like that and it's Toki's favorite? That's Skwisgaar on an old walkman with all of Toki's "failed" takes on various guitar parts of different albums and songs. They aren't the polished, practiced pieces she can play, it's something completely raw and different. She can't get enough of it and goes to sleep listening to them when no one is with her (AKA Toki). She has some of Toki's old guitar picks in a locked jewlery box. She watches Toki compilations on Youtube (Specifically "Toki being a cutie pie for 15 minutes", "Toki being better than your man for 15 minutes", "Top 10 best Toki's performances (Not Solos)", and "Toki Wartooth Interviews Compilation" She's replaying her favorite parts and blushes like shes spying on her high school crush. It's all very cringe but it puts Skwisgaar to sleep feeling giddy every time.) She has to hold herself back when she hears other people say Toki is bad at guitar because SHE is allowed to say that; she works, lives, and fucks her but other people? And especially if they don't play guitar? She'll give you the ol' one-two but she cant let too much out, otherwise people might ~speculate~. Toki may love watching her practice but when it's reversed, Skwisgaar WILL find a way to record it and spend hours obsessing over it even after the practicing is done.

On the flipside of this, Toki absolutely has scrapbooks solely dedicated to cut out pictures/interviews/advertisements/promotional stuff of Skwisgaar that she keeps under her mattress and pulls out when she wants to oogle.

there was an interview where brendon was asked who toki’s and skwisgaar’s favorite guitarists were. brendon said toki’s favorite was skwisgaar, and skwisgaar loves “every shredder who’s ever lived,” reinforcing skwisgaar’s absolute passion for guitar in general.

that “favorite” would include toki. toki’s a shredder, and her ability to keep up with skwisgaar makes her the second fastest guitarist alive. so behind several layers of jealousy and fear that toki will get better than her has to be admiration of some kind. skwisgaar’s just too proud and probably sees this exact admiration as a weakness. skwisgaar is the god, not toki—toki should be the one idolizing skwisgaar, not the other way around. she could easily hide her admiration under the veneer of criticism, but these are criticisms that only skwisgaar can make, which, in my opinion, is for one very spoilery reason:

SKWISGAAR DISCOVERED TOKI. skwisgaar has the mindset of “i can criticize toki but no one else can” because of THAT. skwisgaar is extra hard on toki because she knows what toki is capable of, but no one else does. even though the rest of the band was at that audition, none of them could possibly understand what it was about toki’s playing that moved skwisgaar so much as to make her go back on her proclamation of them being a one-guitar band.

and then there’s AOTD, the only time in the show we see skwisgaar actually encouraging toki to be good. skwisgaar has ALWAYS thought of toki as talented, and that’s the exact reason skwisgaar is so hard on her. it’s not to be a bitch, it’s because skwisgaar wants the band and every musician in it to reach their full potential. it’s why she practices basically 24/7 (that and her guitar being her ultimate comfort and stim object) and why she gets so mad at the band’s laziness—they’re the most beloved band in the world, they’re all talented. she doesn’t want that talent to go to waste.

but to anyone else who might criticize the band or toki? they’re peons who don’t understand music the way skwisgaar does. they should be lucky to even hear this music.

The accident

Kylo Ren was tired as hell. All those inner workings of the First Order took him completely by surprise. He never thought before that the title of the Supreme Leader of the First Order involves so much tedious work - politics, economics, military warfere, all the small details of how it all works being taken to his notice. Now he began to understand how difficult life was all this time for General Hux.

Kylo thought they both simply needed to relax. He called Hux to his chambers as if for negotiation plannings. The Resistance was practically non-existant now, but it was still lead by his Mother, and Kylo was prepared to offer her a truce. He understood Hux would not be very happy with the prospect, but to his great surprise the General was not opposed to it.

"Well, she is your Mother after all", said he with a resigned shrug of his shoulders. "You got to do what you got to do".

"And now, after talking some business, come here, it is time for us both to relax", said Kylo, while tugging Hux to him and placing him into his lap.

Only 20 minutes elapsed since that moment, and both the leaders of the First Order were relaxing in each others arms, fully naked, on the king size bed of Kylo's, passionately making love to each other.

They did not actually have fixed roles of top and bottom, both could play active/passive, it was simple matter resolved by talking before starting the love making.

tw  :  death  ,  cancer  .  around  his  eighteenth  birthday  ,  his  grandfather  suddenly  fell  ill  with  a  rare  form  of  cancer  that  took  his  life  six  weeks  after  diagnosis  ,  which  rocked  oscar’s  world  .  he  felt  overwhelming  guilt  that  he  hadn’t  spent  more  time  with  his  grandfather  ,  which  manifested  itself  as  oscar  dropping  out  of  school  a  year  shy  of  graduation  to  commit  himself  fully  to  perfecting  his  grandfather’s  techniques  ,  learning  all  of  his  recipes  (  read  :  pouring  over  dozens  of  handwritten  cookbooks )  in  some  failed  attempt  to  get  back  some  time  with  him  .  oscar  hadn’t  been  close  with  his  parents  in  years  ,  more  or  less  seeing  them  as  wardens  of  a  prison  he  wanted  nothing  to  do  with  .  his  grandfather’s  will  left  him  the  deed  to  the  restaurant  ,  with  an  ask  that  oscar  would  promise  to  act  on  whatever  he  felt  called  towards  ,  rather  than  doing  what  others  expected  of  him  .  to  be  candid  ,  this  whole  situation  crushed  him  .

eventually  ,  he  decided  he’d  had  enough  of  the  stifling  community  he’d  grown  up  in  .  he  sold  the  restaurant  to  one  of  the  regulars  ,  a  wealthy  man  who  he’d  come  to  acknowledge  as  somewhat  of  an  uncle  ;  a  safe  pair  of  hands  who  would  treat  his grandfather’s  legacy  with  as  much  passion  &  respect  as  oscar  himself  would  .  so  he  packed  a  bag  ,  texted  his  mom  that  he  was  going  traveling  ,  &  got  on  a  flight  that  evening  .  he  traveled  all  around  -  first  through  central  america  ,  then  through  europe  ,  throughout  asia  &  africa  ,  &  spent  a  few  months  driving  a  van  across  the  continental  united  states  &  canada  for  fun  . 

eventually  ,  he  started  getting  low - ish  on  money  ,  &  decided  to  settle  in  one  of  his  favourite  places  he’d  visited  :  southern  france  .  he  arrived  in  early  2018  ,  taking  on  whatever  menial  tasks  he  could  while  learning  french  until  he  got  a  position  as  a  line  cook  in  an  italian  restaurant  .  a  few  years  later  ,  he’s  made  his  way  up  to  filling  the  head  chef  position  ,  an  honour  he  takes  with  pride  .  he’s  implemented  many  of  his  own  recipes  while  using  flavours  he’s  learned  from  his  travels  ,  with  ingredients  straight  from  local  farmers  .  he’s  earned  the  restaurant  a  two michelin  star  rating  ,  &  is  constantly  striving  for  more  to  get  that  last  star  (  both  for  his  own  ego  as  well  as  a  secret  debt  to  his  grandfather  )  .

Debuff Zane Build

i am tired of not seeing this build in all the zane build videos i watch so im sharing it here because its stupid fun bc u run fast and kill faster. it’s not meta, but its fun as fuck and u have a lot of damage and survivability with it. I’ve completed M4 Slaughter Shaft with it- haven’t tried on M10 yet but i have faith. p.s its 4 am pls have mercy if there’s spelling mistakes.

what ur gonna need is a band of sitorak, zheitseiv’s eruption, a seein’ dead, and the piss grenade. everything else is fair game, whatever u want. try to get it to have the sntl cryo anoint bc good. but u must have the 4 main items for this to work perfectly (it also somewhat works with a low level Frozen Heart bc best shield in the game but you will die a lot more)

this is my current loadout

sometimes i switch the reg Q-System for a kaoson or a nighthawkin if i need ammo (OP QSystem is... OP but not as fun as a tracking grenade QSystem so i don’t care for it) and maybe the brainstormer for a reflux if many shielded enemies (i prefer the brainstormer over the reflux atm. so try for a brainstormer!!)

3rd slot, that’s a monarch which used to be a dictator b4 it got a straight upgrade. I actually don’t use the bipod unless im in a boss fight and don’t need to move fast. usually violent momentum and violent violence cover the dps loss

ur first 3 gun slots honestly don’t matter much. I have my reasons for using them, but you can use whatever u want i think, so long as its a strong weapon (bc unfortunately a lot of weapons are not scaled for m10). u dont HAVE to use the monarch or the Q system or the brainstormer. I recommend them, cuz theyre fun, but u don’t gotta if u wanna swap em out for a a kaoson or a yellowcake or a sandhawk or smth

the last gun is my zheitsev’s eruption. This bad boy, when u reload, shoots out homing balls of debuffery. So every enemy that gets hit with these gets a debuff. I have tried this with the needler but I prefer Zheitsev’s bc it can hit more enemies and once and takes less time. this gun only goes to Blane (ur clone). 

for the skill trees we have no points in under cover even tho brainfreeze is the best skill in the gaaaaame

explanations: 

really the hitman tree is p self explanatory, u wanna go fast as fuck boiii. My band of sitorak does not have the +15 movespeed while zoomer is active anoint (it has the break shield amp anoint, which is p okay. want movespeed, but a nice human from the reddit gave me this sitorak so i didn’t have to farm). u want drone delivery bc Blane will NOT be throwing grenades. If you try to make him throw grenades with the seein’ dead he will ONLY throw grenades and never fire his gun, meaning he’ll never reload. it’s a nightmare. anyway. u want the piss grenade (ideally with the +25% damage on thrown anoint). im not looking forward to regrinding this when they finally mayhem buff grenades.

we put one point into playing dirty because we want those extra shots and honestly with the amount of times seein’ dead can proc ur kill skills you’ll have it more often than not

we also have points in good misfortune for that sweet sweet uptime (which btw can be infinite using the brainstormer/reflux bc it is essentially a redistributor without the need for ur barrier) the monarch/dictator also does it justice

for Blane u DON’T WANT praemuntis. we want blane reloading as often as gotdamn possible. now unfortunately my seein’ dead gave me a +weapon mag size roll (im actually not sure if this affects blane, but im assuming it does) but it does have the amazing +5 donnybrook so I’m taking it anyway. I am so not looking forward to regrinding a good class mod when they finally release action skill buffs for them. i cri. i actually hear 3 points in donnybrook and 2 in violent violence is p good (or 1 in violent violence 1 in playin dirty) so maybe grinding won’t be so bad. maybe i’ll finally get a +weapon damage roll

u can grab 1 point in ducttape mod and put 4 points into borrowed time if you want. it doesn’t really matter. i current have 5 in borrowed time and 3 in pocket full of grenades (for some reason??? usually i only put 2 in.). U can do that and use those extra points for either ducttape mod or more points in playing dirty. 

u NEED quick breather. This skill has a STUPID interaction with the band of sitorak shield because of how quickly it recharges. I’m talking, the instant you swap with Blane, you have full shields and so does he. It’s dumb, I love it. Use it to get out of trouble.

so im probably gonna need to explain why i have 3 points in trick of the light: im a cryo slut. That’s it. put those wherever you want, just make sure you can get Double Barrel. i’ve seen builds where people actually go for brainfreeze, i might try that next time i respec.

Double barrel will make it so blane can use the zheitsev’s eruption and debuff your enemies for you. it’s worth it.

so the augments u want are these:

SCHADENFREUDE. because band of sitorak has such a tiny capacity, ur shield is constantly up. If its not, it’s constantly breaking from full capacity. this does have a fun effect with the amp shield break anoint, but mainly i like it for the 25% damage buff whenever it breaks. its a tradeoff for damage, ur constantly swapping between max shields and more damage, so its actually p constant survivability and damage over the long run.

i grab doppelbanger bc blane sometimes gets stuck in the floor and/or i don’t feel like running all the way back. i wouldn’t recommend getting which one’s real or digital distribution only bc u want him alive as much as possible. u can also get binary system instead of doppelbanger, its up to you

for Zoomer u want bad dose for the movement speed and (sometimes) static field (only if the enemies have shields). this is so if blane goes down or he isn’t taking damage, zoomer can refill ur shields. if the enemies won’t have shields usually i grab winter’s drone or boomsday depending on how i feel.

im actually gonna try to see if i can’t grab brain freeze. hang on. i know trick of the light is frowned upon for most people so lemme just respec. so ye in the event u just can’t live without freezing people (i know the feeling) feel free to do this. imma play with this for a bit and see if i can live with slower reload. I actually depend on the 100% cryo with zoomer active for all my cryo damage. i also use an ice breaker so they freeze fairly easy (but only on mobs. on bosses u want the snowdrift or something else)

this build isn’t really meta and u might have trouble doing a solo run of true takedown on m10... bc its true takedown on m10, but honestly it’s fun as F U C K. you CAN do it, but it’s not no thoughts head empty like barrier-redistrubutor/yellowcake zane can be so u gotta be on TOP of ur SHIT. i love it. running around killing stuff. it’s fun. i also love teleporting. it’s my FAVORITE THING. I STILL GET GIDDY OVER IT BECAUSE IT’S SO FUN. ask my friends, they will tell you, sometimes i’ll just start gushing over how much fun it is to teleport even though i’ve played zane since release. just. (this takes place during chapter 3 of Broken Road; Featuring Kaidan Alenko and Kora Reese with a little Star Wars thrown in)

Wednesday Oct. 25, 2186, Huerta Memorial Hospital, Citadel

“Do you think it’s possible that Shepard could be indoctrinated?”

The question caught Reese off guard as she prepped the next vid for them to watch. They had talked about many things during her visit to his hospital room but that was not one of them. She snorted and ignored it as she selected Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back to watch.

Kaidan called out as he shifted on the hospital bed. “Hey, Kori! I’m serious. With everything that’s happened—”

She glared at him over her shoulder. “I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.”

The Major held her gaze intently, clearly not wanting to back down or change the subject. “You have to admit it is possible.”

Kori turned to him as she paused the movie’s opening crawl. “Why? Because you still have issues trusting a guy who died saving all our asses and then was brought back to do it all over again? And he’s having to do it a third time because the galaxy can’t get their collective asses together to fight an enemy that is clearly stronger and more powerful then they are?”

“Cerberus brought him back,” Kaidan said flatly.

Reese let out a groan of frustration. He could be so judgmental and inflexible in his thought processes sometimes. “Kaid, he didn’t exactly have a choice in being brought back by them. Anyway, he ended the Collector threat and told Cerberus to shove it afterwards. He turned himself and the Normandy over to the Alliance. What more do you want?”

“He could have been tampered with when the Illusive Man brought him back…He’s got implants. What if that reaper tech Cerberus used on their own guys on Mars was prototyped with Shepard?”

“Kaidan, are you listening to what you are saying?” she asked in disbelief and frustration. “The man we served under, the man who Anderson trusted with the Normandy twice, and the man I am currently first officer for…You think he’s been indoctrinated but you have no problem with me serving on the same ship as him. Does that make any sense?”

Kaidan grew silent as he turned his gaze to the view out the large window. He worked his jaw as she watched him ponder her words. She walked from the vid screen to his bedside. He remained quiet as she sat beside him.

“I know you are trying to rationalize everything that has happened, and indoctrination might explain it all away,” Reese said gently. “But you know as well as I do that it takes a strong will to be able to withstand contact with a Prothean Beacon. It takes someone with steel grit to go through what he has and not come out a mess. He is missing two years of his life. He woke up thinking that the Alliance wasn’t doing enough. The Alliance wouldn’t even acknowledge him or give him the support to fight the Collectors. Cerberus did. The whole thing was opportunistic and engineered but Shepard knew that. He is trying to fight against impossible odds when the galaxy told him to fuck off after Saren and Sovereign. I think you should give him the benefit of the doubt and trust him. I do.”

“You do?” he asked as he continued to look out the window. Maybe he remembered how difficult it was to gain her trust back on the SR1. Maybe that would point him in the right direction.

“Yeah,” she replied. “And Shepard thought you might trust him now too…”

“I want to,” Kaidan murmured as he dropped his head, reaching for her hand.

“Then what’s stopping you?” she asked, squeezing his hand.

“I—I don’t want to feel like I let myself or others down again.”

“Again?”

He glanced over at her. His expression haunted. “I followed his order. Get everyone else off the ship. I followed it, and he died. I let that guilt eat me up inside and I left you. I gave you the stupidest reason for it and I lost nearly two years with you. I let you down. I let Shepard’s memory down. How—”

“How can you try to throw the indoctrination idea out there to explain your insecurities then? That’s not like you, Kaidan,” Reese noted as she turned to face him.

“I—I don’t know how to talk to him about it. It’s a stupid thought in the back of my mind that won’t leave me alone.”

“Then you need to talk to him about it, instead of running hypotheticals with me,” she suggested as she motioned toward the paused vid. “I’d rather watch Star Wars with you for the 100th time anyway.”

“We haven’t watched it 100 times, and you only saw it for the first time a couple of months ago,” he said with a small grin.

“So what? You’re taking up time with us by worrying about something that could be solved by simply talking to Shepard,” Reese retorted as she reached for her omni-tool. “In fact, maybe I should call him up so you two can talk instead of watching movie with me.”

Kaidan caught her hand before she could activate it. “Ah, no. I think I’ll talk to him tomorrow when he drops by.”

“So what am I supposed to do?”

“Sit here and watch this movie with me as I admit you are right,” Kaidan answered reluctantly.

“I’m sorry. I don’t think I heard you correctly. What was that?” she asked with a grin.

“Oh, you heard me, Kori,” he said as he moved to unpause the movie. “You’re right. I am trying to rationalize something I’m worrying about without going straight to the source.”

She made a contented hum as she leaned against his shoulder, the Star Wars theme playing as the opening crawl resumed. Kaidan moved to wrap an arm around her as the began watching the movie.

“So you know indoctrination might kind of be like the ability of a Force user to influence weak minded individuals…”

“Kaidan—”

“If you put it in terms like that and combine it with what you said earlier about Shepard being strong willed, then there is no way he could be indoctrinated.”

“You are using Star Wars logic to talk some sense into yourself.”

“Possibly.”

“Ah. Glad the blow to your head didn’t mess with your nerdiness.”

“I thought you liked my nerdiness.”

“I do. But the real question is: by your logic, is Shepard Luke Skywalker?”

“Sure. And I’m Han Solo.”

“Wait. The guy who can move things as if he has the Force wants to be the handsome smuggler pilot?”

“Well, yeah. Like you said I can do a lot of things with biotics…Being Han Solo is different.”

“Why? Because he’s a lady’s man?”

“Well, no. Not exactly. I already have my lady anyway.”

“Are you insinuating I’m Leia?”

“Maybe. Is that a bad thing?”

“No. Because she doesn’t give a shit about what people think and still gets things done. And she doesn’t have to rely on a guy…”

I want to correct some things I wrote in my last taekook post. But it just too long and hard to edit, also, those were my early thoughts, and now I learned more in these few days, makes me wanna change some of my theory.

First, I would say I think I know tae more now. Before, I wasn't able to tell what he's like. Hes just so secrecy. And the part he can lie without blink, made me feel weird. Like why? Why you like to hide your name when stranger asks you? Why you so good at losing? Why even lie at all? What's the center reason?

Then I saw taekook-lives vids, she has so many insightful, and background informations, love her YouTube channel. She pointed out about both tae and jungkook's sexuality could be gay even before they met each other, then it hits me. That explains everything, why tae sometimes childish and sometimes mature, why he's shy and a bit femenime(not saying it's a bad things, or because of his sexuality, im not that old and stupid) in general but act silly loud exaggerated behavior sometimes, especially when he was younger, like he was trying to act more boyish.

A little bit same thing with young JK too, his speaking voice when he with the members are higher now and he has more cute face and body expressions. He used to only smile or laugh, but now he has way too many cute faces. Maybe he has a little bit knowing that hes kinda different than other boys so that's why he likes to hangout with older people. But tae, I think he knows his sexuality and that's why he kept the real him hidden, put on a different cover on the outside, that's why he's so conflicted when he's young.

I was wrong about the inner child lyric, I thought the first changing part means tae visit jk's room and changed their relationship from friends into lovers. But then I was a bit confused cuz they seem sleep in the same room, so... How he visits jk's room? Then I saw one of taekook-lives vid mentions an article about JK talking how he met tae. He says tae visit his room and introduced himself. I realized I was so wrong, that's what tae means in the lyric, hes talking about meeting JK changes both of them.

Another thing I learned is that how much JK really pulling tae out. I didn't know RM implied that we should listen to the last album from V's singularity to fake love to love maze then magic shop. It's just a love story about how tae was hiding himself under deep ice, till someone found him and saved him. Then he tried to protect this love by faking it, and jk's part is saying no, it's still fake. So much pain and suffering, but he finally accept it cuz how much he loves tae.

I learn about the almost one year separation, and why jk covers so many love songs. The things they had been though, all those time tae protend like he didn't even see jk on cam. People talked(still some) about is he and jk not getting along, company set jk with jimin... All those things, and how much pain tae and jk feel constantly, couldn't saying anything, just using music and those tiny hints to spread their love.

I now sure it must be tae didn't wanna come out. jk in on's solo part sings "Michael told me in the closet, they got some chicken I so sad" is an unbelievable brave and smartest lyric ever. I think maybe the company said they will support them if them came out, but chicken out, so jk was sad, but now he's gonna taking over like the lyric says.

Now I think inner child is not just talking about coming out, it reviewed their relationship form the start. I thought it was a sad love calling, but maybe the second change is positive too. They gonna change their relationship to the next level. The "hold my hand" and "give you my world", I think it's a propose.

And soon I was thinking that, I saw some other stuff showing they wearing rings on the left hand forth finger lately... And also, I heard that they don't even allow to sit in the same car in Korea seems they are married.

Seriously? They not just gonna announce coming out, but straight go for marriage? Is this for real? What m I even writing stuff here? The boat just sails itself to the far beyond.

But I would like to say how much Im touched by their relationship. I had to go through all those details, like cracking codes to find those puzzle pieces, so I can understand what they have going through. This is just sad. And I heard they already starting to get some awful treatments in Korea, so I'm really sorry but also proud and admire their courage. Not just tae and jk, also other members stand by them to face the coming war, I only hope army won't get too shocked and still love and support them.

I sometimes forget though jk has this bunny cuteness, but hes also a kid that choose a small agency by his own preference when he's 13, and singing lead when he's 15 in a group full of people order than him. He doesn't scare of anything, pain and hurt cannot wipe the smile on his face, he always so positive. That's why he can save a sensitive brooding boy form the deep ice, and brings light and laugher to tae's life. They did change a lot, both of them actually, more than any of the other members. Because they grow together and slowly understand and accept who they are. Jk only stays in the closet because that was the wish of the person he loves. But he always that kind of person can never be press down forever. I can't wait to see their story finally written under daylight, so I can proudly support them and the whole BTS family. They deserve everything.

Larry Vs Zarry and more rants

Okay this is a rant that no one asked for but no one in my social circle cares enough about this to hear me out so tumblr will be a decent substitute.

I hate larries. First they try to make everything about Larry like it is so far fetch but they are gripping onto that theory tight. They are so blind and so adamant and anything that debunks any of their theory sets them off. The entire Larry fandom is so toxic that they even affected harry and Louis’s friendship. To be very honest I never liked Louis because he craved so much attention especially in the early days. He probably saw that many fans were invested in Larry and decided to add fuel to the fire by doing stuff purposefully on cameras. It’s so ridiculous. He even admitted himself that he was insecure about being obselete when he left the band as it is pretty evident that the more popular members of the band did not include him. He wanted to be relevant and did this by hopping onto the Larry BS. After it got out of control and compromised their actual friendship and even his relationship with his gf then did he start denying all the Larry theories. Louis was just milking it. Did y’all noticed how harry ignored Louis the last 2 years in the band? They barely even talked. Y’all say its the management but y’all watch too much tv man. Those things don’t happen in real life to such an extreme level because that’s not humane and they know that they can get into a lot of trouble doing that. They won’t go so far by not allowing them to talk H doesn’t even glance at Louis. Y’all keep saying that Louis’s backhanded comments are sassy well they aren’t they are just straight up rude y’all clearly don’t know the difference. Watch drag race and see how sassy is done. Sassy is being witty but if u say the ‘joke’ again and again it’s just being mean bro. Anyways I’m not here to define what sassy is. H did not deserve all those comments in the early days especially the ones about his mum it’s not appropriate at all. If u notice, Z never participated in the ‘hot mum’ convo and stopped teasing H’s voice after doing some impressions of harry in 2011. Harry was just tolerant and a nice human so he didn’t do much about it. Of course as he got older he knew he didn’t have to put up with the bs Louis gives him and started to take matters into his own hands.

Not to go off on Louis I’m sure he is an decent human privately but whatever I see on camera I dislike. His fans are also delusional. Since I’m alr going off on Louis might as well say everything. The main reason why Louis fights to stay relevant was his limited vocal skills. He has a nice tone to his voice I admit. I quite like it. But it’s just so unreliable. I laugh everytime I see a Louis singing like an angel compilation appearing on my ig because even in those clips he was off tune. Imagine his normal live performances. Idk maybe I just have a more sensitive musical ear because of my musical background but literally almost everytime he sings it’s bad. His fans keep complaining about how he never really got many parts in songs during 1D and most were given to H and Z and even Liam. He prob would be given more parts if he sang with technique and consistency as good as Mitch grassi( who has a similar temperament to Louis) but he doesn’t. He has a shit range I prob have a wider range than he does (and I mean the lower range as well); he has shit technique as you can see his voice get more hoarse as time goes on as he pushes too hard for the notes and often strains to hit the notes; bad at runs and the one time he was given a run in a song he screws up during almost all live shows or doesn’t even sing the runs; often off tune like so off he literally has 3 lines and can’t stay on key I can continue you know. Of course I can understand if you’re insecure. (Maybe stop wasting time on fuelling Larry and practice ur technique? Attend vocal lessons?) you want to prove me otherwise? U can watch the live performance after he went solo. Lmao with no one to hide behind and singing with another inconsistent singer (bebe rexha no hate tho I love her songs but she has problems singing live sometimes) the performance was an utter mess. Okay enough with Louis talking abt him is hurting my brain.

The thing I like about the zarry fandom is that they’re so Low key and very patient and friendly. They are always trying to find new content to share and keeps to fandom only. They know that if Z and H knew about such speculations and theories we made, their dynamic may change as well So zarries keeps it to themselves and RESPECTS THEIR PRIVACY. That’s why we Low key panicked when the articles about harry being the inspiration behind fingers came out. You can support your fandom, you can come up with your theories but if you start going off on other fandoms randomly, you are being defensive for nothing. When larries say “I’m just sharing my opinion” but goes off at other fandoms for sharing their’s isn’t that hypocritical? I don’t know why these minute feuds happen there are more significant things happening don’t y’all have homework and exams to deal with? Why do you have to defend them so strongly? Sorry sweetie they don’t know who you are probably never will.

Now the actual ships. Larry were clearly best buddies in the early days. Zarry (maybe not as bff as Larry )but they were very comfortable around each other and were very close ( they slept in the same bed and cuddled during an interview like full on nuzzle into neck Shit) but if u see the interview when the boys were asked to identify who the food thief is, the boys were outing Harry being a food thief but Louis of course had to say some cheesy thing about how he can take his food. Liam was like but the other day you said... CLEARLY Louis had complained about Harry stealing food but once again he was MILKING LARRY. Have you seen Harry say anything like that to Louis? No not really. Maybe said he was funny once or sth. With Zayn, yes many occasions. Saying he is intelligent, funny, pretty, missing his eyes when the question was not even for him???? The list can go on. All Harry had done was deny the Larry rumours again and again and again. Zayn even stepped in multiple times to deny the rumours as well. I mean man watch zarrydocumentary, mah edats or any zarry channles and the Miami incident omg that was so compelling. The eating disorder era and harry not saying weigh like asfghjk y’all won’t know till y’all watch the vids man. Okay I shall end this off with I hope ig stop showing me Louis/ Larry content cos just because I like Harry doesn’t mean I like any of those two things. Everytime I see it, it’s just pisses me off. HalLUDOween!!

So last weekend I went to HalLUDOween, aka Ludo's one night only, first time in six years concert! They're my favorite band and since I didn't think I'd ever get to hear them again in concert, of course I had to go. Even if it was in St. Louis, an approximately 11 hour drive from home lol But @biffelderberry and I figured it would be worth it, and it so was :D

We started out early Friday morning since it was going to be a long drive and we had to pick up a rental car since neither of our cars was up to such a drive. Of course we found out like an hour into the drive that the model we got had had a recall put out that very morning, but thankfully we didn't have any problems with it. The drive was actually not too bad, despite being so long and being mostly a drive through boring wilderness. We'd put together an approximately 13 hour playlist, so we had plenty of music to sing along with. And we made lots of stops at Taco Bell so I could get their potato tacos bc I'm apparently obsessed lol I ended up eating Taco Bell for every meal Friday, which was probably not a good idea, but it tasted fucking awesome.

Made it to the hotel around 8 maybe. There were two guys from Chicago in the check in line in front of us who we think may have been there for the concert as well, but the cool part was when we went down to breakfast in the morning, we met two other ppl who were there for the concert! They were from Wisconsin and California, so it was cool to talk to them for a bit about how much we all love Ludo and were so happy we were getting to see them again. We'd planned to use most of Saturday to explore St. Louis, since we'd come so far anyway. We'd wanted to do a ghost tour, but that didn't end up working out, but we did do a few other cool things. We went to an antiques store where we couldn't afford anything, but it still had some really interesting stuff. Then we went over to Grand Street, which I gather is kind of the popular downtown street. We ate at Lulu's Local Eatery, which is a small, hippster-y vegan place. I got the mac n cheese and Biff got the sliders, both of which were fucking delicious. Also very filling, which was a little disappointing bc we'd hoped to share the carnitas loaded tots after lol After that we went to a nearby comic book store. The owner was super nice and we talked to him about Ludo a bit (I was wearing my Ludo shirt) bc apparently everyone in town knew about this concert lol He'd had some other ppl in earlier who were going, I think from New York? Or maybe Arizona. We basically spent the whole weekend hearing from ppl in town about ppl coming in from out of state for the concert. Anyway, after that we did a little more walking around, mostly bc we wanted to look at all the pretty trees, and then went to Walmart to pick up some food (they have a So Delicious cashew milk chocolate cookies and cream ice cream that is to die for!). And crosstitching stuff bc Biff wanted to do an AO3 inspired bookmark design, and I thought it sounded fun as well. Also got some face masks bc why not. Which actually turned out not to be the best idea... When we got back to the hotel, I tried out my clay mask and it didn't go well. I did put a little too much water in it, but I don't think that accounts for how I apparently had an allergic reaction to it. Seriously, when I took it off, I looked like I had a rash all over my face. Thankfully my makeup skills were enough to cover it up, but I did end up sitting with a cool cloth on my face for awhile just to be sure the only reaction was the rash. So got ready, blah blah blah. And then it was time for the concert!! Costumes were encouraged, but since we didn't actually bring any, we just dressed up. My outfit of the night, which I loved bc I'd been waiting for an excuse to wear that crop top:

We took a Lyft to and from the venue since we didn't want to deal with parking or driving back at who knew what time. Which was probably a good thing bc the whole area around there was packed. More so for the second show, where the lines were literally down the block, but even for the first show. Bc of my trying to deal with a sudden allergic reaction rash, we were running a little late, so we got there like halfway through the opener. He was pretty good from what we heard, so I'll probably look up his music at some point. We had assigned seats in the balcony, which I was really glad of even if they cost more than GA down below. We would have had to get there hours early to get a good place there and would have had to stand, which I really am not up to for long amounts of time. But our seats were actually really good and we had a fantastic view of the stage. Except for the railing being right at eye level lol Since the concert was Halloween themed, they of course had some Halloween elements for the stage and their costumes. There were a couple of big, glowing blow up ghosts on either side of the stage. When the show started, about a dozen ppl came out in sheet ghost costumes and ran away around for awhile until it was just the band and they took off the sheets to show they were wearing skeleton onesies. Which I really really want one of now tbh.

Here's the vid I took of the intro. It was honestly so so awesome to see them in concert again. The first and only time I saw them before was in 2011, which was right before they basically broke up (ie they all just drifted away to other things and the band was no more). They did pretty much the song set that I'd been expecting, though there were a couple of things they sang that I hadn't expected. (They'd done a poll on twitter with Topek, Girls on Trampolines, and a couple of others, so since Topeka won I wasn't expecting them to play Girls on Trampolines.) And they did my top three favorite songs of theirs! Including Andrew going solo on my absolute favorite, Horror of Our Love! I took a vid of that too of course, which you can prob hear both Biff and I singing along to. They ended the concert with a cover of the Ghostbusters theme song and having a bunch of kids come out to throw candy to the crowd, which was a fun way to end it. There was no new music, aside from the two covers they did, which I think all of us had been hoping for. Even though we knew it was unlikely since the week before was the first time they'd all been in a room together in years. Still, the music and the experience of being part of the crowd was just as fantastic as last time. So yeah, the concert was amazing all around and totally worth the ridiculous drive :D After, we went down the block to the merch store, bc there was definitely no way I was leaving without something. We stood out in the cold for an hour waiting in line, which was fine except for the couple behind us was being really critical of the show and really annoying. We found out the reason it was taking so long was that the band was in the merch store talking to fans and signing stuff and taking pictures, which I hadn't expected. Of course their handler started telling them they needed to leave basically as soon as we got up to the front of the line. But! They were being pretty slow about it bc they wanted to keep talking to the fans, so Matt, the drummer, ended up at the door at the same time we were and he gave us hugs! He also said thanks for coming again, which made it sound like he recognized us? But idk. Anyway, as awesome as that was, the best part was apparently the girl behind us really wanted a hug from him and we were the last ones he hugged before leaving. Vengeance is sweet :D Anyway, I ended up with a t-shirt and a poster for the concert, plus a couple smaller ones from previous tours that they were giving away for free. There was a really cool tree print that I wish I would have gotten, so I hope they put that up online. There was a vinyl of the last CD as well that I wanted, but I really didn't feel like I could justify that as well. Maybe they'll put it up online too.

We took a Lyft back, which was a bit of an experience bc we had to cross the street to get to our ride and some asshole apparently was tired of waiting in traffic and tried to speed around while we were in the crosswalk. He stopped in time, but Biff really thought he was going to hit me :/ But we made it back to the hotel safely and met the lady from breakfast again. We ended up talking to her for awhile, which was fun bc she's been following the band for a long time and is apparently knows them personally bc of that. Sunday morning we slept in a bit bc we'd been out so late. We were both very glad we had decided not to drive home that day lol We went back out to Grand Street and had lunch at Lemongrass, a Vietnamese place there. I got the tofu summer roll and sesame tofu, and the sesame tofu was seriously good omg. After that we did some more walking and went to a bookstore we'd seen on Saturday. It was really cool and had a pretty fantastic variety of stuff spread out over three levels. We met a local Ludo fan there (we were both wearing the shirts we bought) who hadn't gotten to go to the concert and talked to her a little. Afterward we went over to the St. Louis Art Museum since they were supposed to have a textiles exhibit that sounded really interesting. We didn't end up finding it, and we only got to stay about half an hour before they closed, but it was still really fun. Plus they had some gorgeous views out front, some beautiful fall maples, and a statue of, apparently, Saint Louis.

We thought about going to the zoo after that, since it was literally across the street, but they were having some Halloween event and there were hundreds of small children everywhere. We decided that wasn't something we wanted to deal with lol So we went and picked up lunch from Fred and Ricky's Plant Delicious Foods, a lttle vegan grab and go place, instead and took it to eat at the hotel. The food was pretty good, though probably the best part is that I found out they ship nationwide, so I can order from there sometime if I want. Which is nice bc we really don't have many vegan places here. Monday it was time to leave. Because the drive home was long and we had to get back before the rental place closed at six, we got up at 5 am to head out. It wasn't too terrible, but we were definitely still tired. And I fell coming down the stairs with my suitcase and bruised my ass. It still hurts :/ Drive home seemed longer than the one there, probably bc I didn't really want to be going home lol It's so interesting how every time I go away for a fun weekend, it hits me when I get back how much I hate living at my house and in my city and in Texas in general. So I guess good motivation to try to find a way to move out sooner rather than later. So the weekend was fantastic! There were a few other places we would have liked to go, like the City Museum and some more vegan restaurants, but overall we hit some good places and had a lot of fun. Plus just the landscapes up there were so so pretty. We don't have trees like that in Texas lol But we're definitely thinking of going back to St. Louis sometime to see some more stuff. And maybe see Ludo again, if this concert was a sign of things to come! But of course it coudn't be all good. My throat was feeling a bit scratchy on the way home Monday, and by Tuesday I was pretty sick. Thankfully I had the whole week off plus Monday and Tuesday this week (I'd been hoping to go to a Star Trek meet up this weekend, but I couldn't afford it after all). I'm hoping I'm well by the time I go back to work, but it's been kind of a sucky way to spend my time off! But still worth it for Ludo lbr :D

LIKE shes just so versatile. she showed that thru mixnine which lol i didnt watch besides cuts but if u watch her performing on there and then see her performing with loona 1/3 it’s like complete opposites but she manages to shine no matter what like it’s effortless for her. shes such a sweet girl too i really do feel like theres a reason she was picked to go first bc she has such a likeable personality. shes funny, hardworking, humble (but not to the point to where she downplays her worth), and just seems like a real ride or die type of friend

hyunjin: MY BABY i hav such a soft spot for hyunjin and it’s hard not to??? she comes across as a little quiet at first and she acts like she doesnt care but she does u know she does shes not fooling anyone idc how many times shes told yeojin 2 shut up on camera i know she’d be one of the first if not THE first girl 2 be by her side (and any members side) if some shit went down. shes such a determined little thing too and when she has her eyes on something she goes for it no thinking abt it no questions asked she just does what she wants and thats something so impressive for a girl her age to be able to do. i feel like shes the type of person to just sit in the back and watch more than participate bc she doesnt mind if the other girls take the spotlight like shes such a chill, laid-back soul. i aspire to be like her. and shes so fucking funny really it’s almost criminal how hard she makes me laugh. ALSO she has the best reactions it’s a disgrace more than anything that i dont hav a folder of just her making stupid faces

haseul: the absolute love of my life? THE jo haseul?? theres a reason shes the member i latched onto the most at the beginning and ultimately kinda the member that tied me down to loona for good. like i was onboard w them from the get but it’s her that sealed the deal. i dont joke when i say she really is their guardian angel and no matter what u think of her in the comparison to the other girls u cant deny the fact that shes born leader material. she makes the other girls feel good and at-ease yknow. like she was always around vivi in the 1/3 loona tvs and u could tell it was like 2nd nature to her being by her side as vivi navigated her way through a country and language she wasnt all too familiar with. and like w/ yves for another example like yves if all facts check out was only w/ bbc for a three week period before they debuted her so obviously she wasnt familiar with any of the girls which is why she was so awkward at first. but haseul? bless her soul she did all that she could to make her feel at home. and she has such a beautiful voice i feel like not enough ppl praise her for it. also fuck yg for making her feel bad during mixnine she deserves the world and he can suck my big toe

yeojin: miss thang miss thang. what 2 say what 2 say. first things first shes a trooper. shes a baby i mean a lot of them are babies but yeojin is an actual baby baby i almost fainted when i learned how old she is. but despite her age shes so firm yknow. when shes doing things she wants to do them right to the best of her abilities and shes always striving to be better which is so admirable bc for me personally at that age i was a goddamn mess i couldnt be doing and juggling even a third of the shit she does. and shes right next to hyunjin when it comes to making me laugh shes just so loud and full of energy even 2 the point where i get tired watching her and im loud and full of energy but her being loud and being full of energy kicks my being loud and being full of energy in the ass. if any of that made sense. but theres never a dry eye in sight when shes in the room and u can tell shes such a joy 2 be around as much shit as the other girls give her lol i just feel real protective of her bc shes just so full of life and laughter and i just want her to be out here living her best life

vivi: it needs 2 be said that i have such high respect for any kpop idol who’s from another country bc theres just so much thats going against them. miss vivi is away from home away from her comfort space away from her friends and family away from a place where she can speak proficiently and fluently bc shes struggling to learn a new language and?? on top of that shes doing all the other standard idol stuff. thats some tough shit thats some scary shit but she takes it all on with a brave face and an open mind. and being able to slowly watch her build up more confidence in the language and basically everything else has been such an honor. like when im out here on my weak shit feeling sorry for myself i gotta think 2 myself what would miss vivi do? how would miss vivi tackle this? i lov this girl honestly i would die for her she does so much and i feel like not all of it is fully appreciated but she’ll have her moment i know she will and it’ll only be a matter of time before ppl see how amazing she is 

kim lip: giiiiiiiiirl. lip is such a strong person. like in all aspects. shes crazy talented it’s a little scary to think abt how much she’ll grow once they properly debut as a group and she gets more experience bc?? she just has so much going for her. her charisma is off the charts she can easily pull a crowd if her solo being a real big jumping point in spreading the loona name says anything at all. and shes such a good pick for the oec leader she definitely has those vibes like u just cant help but listen to her regardless of whatever bullshit she says and she says a lot of bullshit but do i liv by that bullshit and eat it up like shes spouting out the new testament u can bet ur ass i do. lip is definitely one of those girls that u cant help but be drawn to like u just want 2 be her bff bc once u remove her from the stage she has such girl next door vibes i feel like she’d be the type of girl u see in the club and u make small talk by the bar bc u made eye contact by accident and all of the sudden before u know it youve spent ur whole night w her and u hav her phone number and plans to meet up next week bc shes so friendly 

jinsoul: i make fun of her a lot. but w good reason: shes easy 2 make fun of. shes so quirky but not in the ironic way like shes really quirky and a bit of a walking disaster but it’s charming and she makes it work. even if shes not ur fav? shes still? kinda ur fav? even if u dont know it? if i made a list of some of my fav loona moments i assure u she’d be included in about 80% of it like shes such a staple to the group i really cant imagine her not being w them i mean i cant imagine the group w/o any of them but jinsoul especially. sometimes i watch loona vids knowing good and damn well shes not gonna be in them but i still end up thinking where is jinsoul?? bc not 2 speak for everybody (i will tho) but no one can get enough jinsoul. also her voice? i love it it’s one of my favs in not only loona but kpop in general. both speaking-wise and singing-wise. it’s just so pretty i really did astral project the first time i heard sitr & love letter. true out of body experiences 10/10 would recommend the yelp reviews are in shes 100% worth It. what is the It shes worth? idk but whatever It is .. shes worth It.

choerry: i just want her 2 be my little sister wow. miss yerim really has my heart. truly the embodiment of :) . shes so smily and has such a strong energy u cant help but like her. in every loona tv shes in shes making someone laugh or smile and it’s no coinkidink it’s bc shes really just that much of a ray of sunshine and u cant help but fall for her. give her some time i pledge w my life that once they debut she is going 2 shine on variety shows theres no way she wont. she has such good sense and shes so flexible. and if lcm is anything 2 go by shes able to switch it up and kill different concepts and sounds at the drop of a hat. def one to keep ur eye on bc u just know shes gonna go far in the future theres no way she wont she has all the tools in her arsenal to make it big no problem. does she resemble the annoying orange? yes and i’ll hate kim lip forever for putting that image in my head but that wont stop her shes truly a force to be reckoned with.

yves: my baby! u didnt hear this from me but i lov her a lot. she was kinda just thrown 2 the wolves w/ her three weeks of training i can only imagine how nerve wracking it must’ve been for her. here is an army of girls bbc has as potential loona members whove been training for years/knew the other girls who were already chosen as loona members/have even gone along for the ride with the chosen loona members to film their mvs and yet shes the one who was picked to be added after three weeks of her being w the company. three weeks !!! thats a lot of pressure but despite that she gave us everything she got. she was real nervous in the beginning anyone could tell when u watched her loona tv arc but she got over it and by the time chuu’s arc rolled around she was joking around w/ the others like it was nothing. shes so funny too but in an awkward way. like she doesnt mean to be but she says and does shit that makes u ?? and u cant help but laugh. her gig with marishe? i have never seen anything funnier like that bitch really took 100+ photos all w the same face and w the same three poses if that’s not talent idk what is. and i dont think it’s been confirmed in writing yet but shes gonna be such a good leader for the eden unit i feel it in my bones 

chuu: when i tell u my heart has skipped a beat over this girl. im not saying it 2 be dramatic im deadass. my heart has skipped a beat multiple times watching her whether it be a fancam or a loona tv or even a selfie. i’ve watched that little instagram update of her in her pig onesie more times than i want 2 disclose. her voice???? oh my god im in love with it. shes such a strong singer like STRONG and u can hear that in heart attack and girl’s talk and see saw but if u listen to her covers shes done before being introduced as a member it’s like !!!!! wow. and she makes a lot of noises. like just incoherent sounds and its so cute i could cry. like i dont have the attention span 2 sit and watch a vlive if it’s not subbed … but i’d do it for her just bc i love hearing her talk i love her voice on any and all levels u could love someones voice. and all her little mannerisms are adorable and this could really turn into me typing a whole mla formatted essay on how i find her 2 be one of the cutest girls in the world but i’ll spare u. and ofc shes not just cute like i said before this girl is talented and i cant wait for loona to grow as a group so she can be on bigger and bigger platforms for more and more ppl to hear her sing bc thats just how it should be

gowon: i lov her i lov her i lov her!! i’d do just about anything for this girl if she asked but i feel like regardless of who u are u wouldnt be able to refuse her even if u wanted to. i latch onto every word she says everything she says is gold. shes so giggly and a lot of that giggling is bc she probably feels awkward but it’s still real cute. shes also lowkey highkey gotta mouth on her like she’ll really come for ppls throats if she feels it’s necessary and thats beautiful to me. she doesnt get enough credit but as pretty as she is more attention should be focused on her talents bc she is a talented girl. her vocal tone is high and ‘cute’ but i think it melds so well w/ the other girls’ voices and theres a lot of opportunity there if and when they decide to create new sub-units/have more duet songs. and my girl can dance im tired of ppl overlooking her bc?? her pre-debut vids are a little stiff ye but theres so much potential there shes such a gem and i cant wait for her to grow more bc i know theres so much she could be doing w/ what she has

Stage Comfort

Hanzo liked all sorts of theatre—kabuki, improv, anything theatrical. He was always fond of acting, but never had an opportunity to practice it. Playing a role in real life to shake off pursuers was one thing, but to perform in a theatre, acting out a story where he could forget himself for a time? That was a dream. One blocked by the elders for years, after all what use did the master of the Shimada clan have to take part in silly games? But the elders, and by extent the clan, were gone now—dismantled by Overwatch and what was left of them purged by...other means. Not that he doubted the capabilities of law enforcement, but his elders had been ambitious, dangerously so and sad for them, the rest of the Yakuza did not take too kindly to those ambitions. Still, he had this trepidition about allowing others to know about his acting. So when he signed up for a community play doing the musical "Cats", he told no one. Not even Genji, the only one who knew about his desire to act—he wouldn't hear the end of it if he knew. His brother may even insist on watching, which made Hanzo balk. Worse, he may invite the others and then what? No, better to keep it to himself, like so many things.

"Han!" A voice called out. Hanzo turned from the mirror of the dressing room to see one of his fellow actors in the play, his name unknown to him but he knew the part he played. "We're about to start, are you ready?"

"Yes." Hanzo said, getting up. He was already in costume, as was the other actor. One of the advantages of this particular musical was the costume—heavy make-up and skinsuits accompanied by gloves and wigs. Which left his tattoo hidden, and his face almost unrecognizeable. He smiled at the streaks of brown in his beard, dyed for the role he was to play; the hair was tucked under a wig.

"Tell me again why you don't have my part?" Hanzo could tell his fellow actor was nervous; decked in a black skinsuit with a white chest and face, he played the part of a young cat who was an aspiring magician and his role involved a large solo dance number that was challenging. Hanzo's own role was that of an incorrigible tomcat who liked to be contradictory for the purposes of establishing his individuality. It was not a starring role, but it was still a big part, an interesting one who flirted with every 'queen' as the lady cats were called and was capable of respecting his elders and clan without compromising himself. Rum Tum Tugger was, indeed, a curious beast who did as he pleased and no one could stop him.

"Because the director decided my superior voice would be wasted on Mr. Mistoffolees, and you have the more youthful face. You will be fine, even in the dance number. How big is the crowd?"

"Pretty big. You are NOT going to believe who's here, though!"

"A very important, well-respected theatre critic who will give you your big break?"

"NO! Dva! THE Dva! She's here, she's actually here to see the show! And she brought a friend!" Hanzo swallowed the old dread he felt build up in his belly.

"Hana Song is in the audience?"

"That's what I said!"

"I know, I just wanted confirmation. A friend, you say? Well, perhaps she and her friend will enjoy the show." He took a deep breath. Hana must be on a date night with Lúcio and brought him to see a classic musical. One that, as their advertisements once said, was now and forever. There was no way Hana would recognize him, though a part of him regretted keeping this secret...at least from Mei. But he didn't feel ready to share that with her, even though he knew she would never judge him for this. Maybe someday, he'd tell her.

"Thanks for taking me to see this, Hana!"

"No problem, Mei! I had a spare ticket and Lúcio had to jet to Rio to visit his family. Thanks for not letting this go to waste."

"It is no trouble!" Mei smiled at Hana as they took their seats. "Cats" was a classic, and Mei liked classic musicals. She didn't ask how Hana got the tickets, only that she had them and asked her to come with. Her one regret was that Hanzo wasn't able to come with her. She thought he would have liked this, but he said he had something today. Come to think of it, he had been busy for weeks but wouldn't say why. The lights went out and the show started. It was amazing, the players coming out and dancing and singing. Some of the 'cats' even had their own numbers, and she found herself blushing at the one with Rum Tum Tugger. She couldn't take her eyes off the actor in the black skinsuit with leporard spots on the chest, the one with blonde streaked wig and beard—

Wait...beard?

"Hanzo?" Mei asked softly. It couldn't be...was this what he was up to? Why didn't he say anything? No, that last one was obvious—he still had trouble sharing things with others, even her. Mei looked at Hana, who was engrossed with the play and was recording it on her tablet. She looked at the program, it listed the part of Rum Tum Tugger as being played by a Han Kabuki, a bit more obvious than he would have normally chosen for an alias. She kept watching him, her eyes tracking his every movement, even in the number with the little black and white magician cat with the major dance number. He was very good, and he looked like he was enjoying himself. When the play ended, she was one of many who gave a standing ovation. Part of her wanted to go backstage to greet him, but if Hanzo didn't mention this he had a reason...a stupid reason, but still a reason. Mei had a bad feeling she knew why her dragon said nothing about liking acting, the same reason he never mentioned anything he liked or thought or anything him. No, better to wait until he came back to base to talk to him, or try to; his elders forced things from him and on him, she wasn't going to do the same. Besides, he'd appreciate the privacy.

"That was great!" Hana shouted as they walked back into the base. "I can't believe how you were staring at that Rum Tum Tugger!"

"Oh, you...you noticed that?" Mei asked. Hana nodded.

"I sure did. Man, I'm glad Hanzo wasn't there to see that—he'd have skinned that cat!"

"Who'd skin a cat?" Someone asked. Mei turned and saw Tracer. Hana told her about the play and how Mei was staring at one of the actors, even showing Tracer the vid she made of it. "Oooh, that Demeter does look yummy!"

"I'm sure Emily would agree with you." Mei said. Tracer blushed at the mention of her girlfriend.

"Well...not that yummy."

"Hey check out the Rum Tum Tugger!" Hana said as she fast forwarded to the solo number. "Mei was staring at him all through the play, and you know how devoted she is to Hanzo."

"Not to mention Hanzo's jealous streak."

"That too. So, Tracer, despite being gay and in a relationship, would you think about tapping that?"

"To be honest, love...if I were single, I'd think about it. You know, in a "What the hell? Let's try it with a man and see what those straight bints are talking about" moment. No offense."

"None taken!" It was at that moment Hanzo walked in.

"What is going on?" He asked, and then he saw the vid on Hana's tablet. Mei saw the look on his face, the one like a deer in headlights.

"Hi Hanzo!" Mei said, leading him away from the girls. They walked down the corridors until they reached his quarters, went in and shut the door. She saw he was shaking, trembling even. "Hanzo? I...I saw you in the play—you were very good."

"I...I had—you were with Hana, one of the actors said she had come in with a friend. I thought perhaps she brought Lúcio."

"He's in Rio visiting his family, and Hana had a spare ticket. Are you all right?"

"I will be fine." Mei just cupped his face in her hands and brought it so it was level with hers.

"Why didn't you tell me you liked acting?"

"It...it didn't matter...Mei, I know you would support me in whatever I do, I just—" Hanzo sighed, trying to find the words to explain, though Mei had her suspicions why he didn't say anything to her or anyone.

"It didn't matter to who, Hanzo?"

"...my elders. Acting was a waste of time, a silly game the master of the Shimada had no time to indulge in."

"Did you even indulge?"

"Once. I took part in a kabuki performance, and my elders found out. They arrived at the show, and I...seeing them there, I almost had a breakdown. The next day..." He showed her his tattooed arm, and Mei understood. He had gotten, no they had the tattoo placed on him the next day, which kept him from taking part in anything theatrical. Mei hugged him in comfort and pecked his cheek.

"That part is over, Hanzo." Mei said. "You don't need to hide from us."

"I know. It...it is hard still, to reveal parts of myself." Hanzo said. "Can we just stay here? The two of us, for a time?"

"Of course. I wouldn't mind, especially if you do that Rum Tum Tugger number again...just for me." Hanzo gave her a smile at that.

"I just may do that, but only for you."

"Oooh, let me start!" Mei cleared her throat and sang. "The Rum Tum Tugger is a terrible bore! Eeep!" Hanzo grabbed her, growling and threw her onto the cot then pinned her.

"Boring, am I?" He asked as he tickled her. "Say that again, I dare you!" Mei couldn't say a thing, she was laughing too hard. Hanzo stopped long enough to start kissing her, going down her neck and repeating the last lines of the song with his own variation.
