On endgames and Buck

So when I read posts about Buck and Tommy, I see a theme often repeated:

I know they're not permanent, but I love it.

Who knows how long it'll last, it's great to have it now.

I don't know if I want it to be forever, it's just fun while it lasts.

It's not endgame.

Well...

I think I want it to be. Like, seriously. What if it is? Why can't it be? They're certainly positioning it to be at least long-term. It could be the one that sticks for him. No, on second thought, I don't think I want it to be, I definitely want it to be.

And my reasons have very little to do with Buddie. It's about Buck.

In a nutshell...I want Buck's character development to not center around his love life.

I want his love life settled, so he can develop in other ways. Professionally, personally. So he can gain confidence, decide how he wants to deal with his family and the Daniel spectre, work on his insecurity, his pathological people-pleasing, decide if he wants to further his career and try to become a captain (this was touched on last season and then dropped). I want him to have plot arcs that aren't about the looming question of his romantic life.

I want him to develop from a base of stability in his relationship. And Tommy's the best candidate we've had for that yet. And before you say "Eddie," if that were to happen, we're talking another year or two of...stuff happening to get there. I'm tired. I just don't want him to have yet another relationship end so he can go through whatever sturm und drang would have to go down for that to happen. It's not worth it. I'm convinced now that it would not be worth it. (that's putting aside my utter belief that they're never gonna do it anyway)

So yeah. I'm saying it. I think they might be permanent and I hope that they are. Let them move in together, get engaged, get married. Let Buck become a father (to his own kids). Let Buck work towards more responsibility in his career with a committed life partner at his side. His character can't just be about romantic drama.

Anway, Eddie seems to be throwing his hat in the ring for king of romantic drama anyway, so let's let Buck leave Buck 1.0 behind for good and upgrade himself for the last time.

@dot524: This oneshot was full of so many big-sister feelings from June. This is an AU in which Alex is hospitalized in an accident. June realizes that Alex and Henry have been in a secret relationship for a while and tries to help the rest of her family understand while she grapples with this new reality. TBH I want more to this little universe but I loved what we got in this story!

@na-dineee: This canon variation had me completely hooked! Alex's world is rocked by a quite publicly breakup with his childhood sweetheart, Liam. Things take a turn for the better when he forms an unexpected bond with Prince Henry. Alex is portrayed as soft and vulnerable, while Henry provides endless patience and support. He also helps Alex discover new facets of himself. I wholeheartedly recommend! Bonus: the shorter follow-ups are a treat, too.

(Not) A Cinderella Story by @welcometololaland (book-verse)

@na-dineee: One of my comfort reads! Alex is a JSD student at NYU Law, Prince Henry officially lives in NY and is unofficially out. Also, Alex hates the monarchy, eat the rich and all that. When the two meet at an event, Henry's curiosity is piqued when he receives back the NDA that Alex (and all guests) had to sign, marked up thoroughly in red. The story is very fast-paced, super funny, a lot smutty, also touching - it's everything! And Junora are the icing on the cake!

@suseagull04: TZP works collide in this The Kissing Booth AU! This fic really has it all- friends to lovers, all the feels, and a little bit of angst, and it's all done in the same fast pace as the book, especially the banter between both Alex and Henry and June and Henry, which is amazing!

What is the opinion and relationship that Fowler and June have with Fearless Buddy?

In a nutshell...

Member's of Team 'Alternative timeline Miko'.

At least on first impressions when they got word from the bots and seeing them fool around with the kids a bit.

Its a complete shit in tone when addressing the two in personal.

Dare they say formal, professional.

The pair later find out that Fearless was trained in an agency and were professional with their superiors. Their chaotic side was an added bonus whenever they were in the presence of friends/ family/ or had gotten comfortable.

June likes that Fearless isn't afraid on letting the bots know that things aren't right when they see it.

Extra brownie points when they express their medical skills.

Fowler doesn't feel alone!

Finally someone else who has to deal with the bots on a job level!

Sure their chaotic, but have you seen him in the heat of the moment? He can't talk too much.

They both end up liking Fearless during their stay.

In TFA Silver Aid, how/what her reactions to Sari becomes Techno-organic and also to Wasp becomes Waspinator?

What would be these 3 relationship/ dynamic?

In a nutshell...

2 scenarios for Sari.

In the scenario were she is there for the big reveal, Silver Aid is taking Sari straight into her arms.

Silver refuses to talk to Issac or hear from Optimus right now. She knows its a bit childish, but this... this was a big part of Sari's identity and her father hid it from her.

Silver Aid is going to be staying at the Plant for a couple of days if Sari wants her to stay. Megatron will understand.

She does tell Optimus to back off in trying to reunite the two family memebers immedately. Sari needs time to fully process and accept this being her new reality.

I mean, what would happen if Silver Aid didn't accept her new reality?

Sari feels a bit more connected to the Spider bot, being the older techno organic and having learned some of the ropes by now.

In the scenario where Silver isn't present, it comes off as just as huge shock as the first.

Mainly because she was expecting a flying techno organic Sari crying into her chassis as soon as she left the base.

Silver Aid makes sure to ping Optimus that Sari was with her, but to not come, she would drop Sari off when she felt better. The medic had a feeling her friend was a part of this.

Silver Aid held Sari that night carefully rocking her back and forth while absolutely fuming.

Sari spends 2 nights at the base before Silver decides to take her back.

She makes sure to say her two cents on the subject to Isaac and Optimus hen she gets there.

Sari is always welcomed to call her or fly up to the base and have a sleepover when things get too much.

Silver Aid cries when she sees Wasp.

Her tiny friend was tiny no more.

Waspinator refuses to leave Silver Aid alone after he finds her.

The two do talk about Meltdown when the subject gets brought up.

She makes sure to say her thanks to her fellow techno organic for having a part in saving her life.

She promises to visit every other week and offers a home on Dinobot Island.

Waspinator hesitates a bit, but she reminds him that he doesn't have to if he doesn't feel ready yet.

With that he gives one last hug before disappearing into the brush.

They'll meet again one day.
