As of today I've officially read every post in the transandrophobia tag for an entire year--in addition to running a discord server on the topic for six months--so I feel I have some amount of insight into the term and the little community we seem to have been building around it.
I've seen people stumbling into the discussion and having their mental health immediately wrecked, so I want to share a few quick and basic reminders/lessons I needed to hear a year ago.
You're not a transmisogynist for using the word transandrophobia. You're not an MRA or a TERF either and it's messed up to call you those things. I used to question myself constantly about these things, but I've also now spent hours looking at what real MRAs and TERFs believe and it is nowhere near my beliefs.
You're allowed to take up space. In physical spaces of course--your presence isn't a threat just because you're a man/masc--but also in discussions of feminism and transphobia. It isn't talking over women to share your experiences as a trans person. You experience gendered oppression and it's okay to talk about it.
People lie about us constantly. I'm always hearing things like we think trans women oppress us or so and so in the discussion said something transmisogynistic; do not take these claims at face value, look into them yourself or ask someone who has done so.
Stereotyping us is bigotry plain and simple. That includes considering us more aggressive, annoying, self-centered, toxic, attention-seeking, and misogynistic compared to other groups.
Sexism can very much target men and mascs. If you've been defining transandrophobia as solely an intersection of transphobia and misogyny, I implore you to just look up sexism to see how it can affect nonnormative men. I can give examples.
We have allies! When I found the discussion and saw the vitriol and violent threats directed at us I felt hopeless and alone, but now I know there are plenty of trans women and fems who support me having language. You'll find your people.
I have more to say and I'd be happy to talk to anyone new to the discussion, just reach out.

jude + he/him + twenty
art account: @fagboyfriend
music recs/indie pop uploads blog: @upforabit
i'm a trans, queer, and disabled art student, diehard indie-popper, colorfreak and amateur tboy appriciator from the east coast. i post about music and comics and art and my boyfriendddddd💖💖💖 and all my other favorite topics with frequency.
testimonals from real life jude pansyfemme friends on why i’m epic and you should follow me:
“jude is one of the sweetest people to ever grace this planet and one sexy motherfucker” - M, jude’s number one coffee shop buddy
“he’s just a little guy” - L, jude tolerator (and fan) since 2022
“you’re legally not allowed to be mean to him” - F, jude’s bestie for life maybe
“1# boyfriend. in the world. 💖” - you can probably guess this one
follow at ur own risk, i do not tag and i reblog nudity, sex jokes, discussions of kink or other things generally considered nsfw <3
putting a short faq under cut bc. i get the same questions a lot. check it before you ask about my icon or header or anything
faq:
Art blog/Commissions? @fagboyfriend is the blog. dm me and i can send you my professional portfolio site/organized portfolio/past commission work if you’re interested in commissions. closed for a little bit since im moving into college atm but still hmu if you have interest in originals ive posted or have a project you dont mind a few months waitlist on <3
How long have you been on T/How long have you been transitioning? I came out at 12 years old, started blockers at 14 and HRT later that same year, and had top surgery at 17, making me 5.5 years on t and 3 years post op, and transitioning/out for about eight years.
What’s your tagging system?/What does this tag mean? #Jude pansyfem irl is for selfies and ootds. #songposting is my now retired method for posting song links. (all new song links are now at @upforabit) #echo is the name of my boyfriend, it’s posts that remind me of him, my interactions with him, etc. (that tag is very lovey-dovey and really just for him to look through) other than that i don’t usually tag. you can expect untagged nudity and sex, at this point you have been warned twice so dont get on my ass about it 👍 my blog my rules
What show/game/comic is your icon from? its a cropped version of the album cover of the 1999 album “shake the pounce” by vancouver based twee pop band Gaze. It’s a favorite album of mine as well as just a cool little guy i like a lot
Where is your header from? a painting i did in gouache a year or two ago and thought would make a nifty header.
How do I refer to you/How do you identify? I’m a queer femme transgender man. I use he/him pronouns and masculine terms. i like many genders, i’m strictly t4t and primarily interested in men though. i enjoy femme/gnc gender presentation, but i do not identify as anything other than a binary ftm transgender person. I do not use they/them and have not at any point in recent history. referring to me as such is misgendering/degendering and will probably get you blocked like any other misgendering.
What compliments are okay? most are okay, masc or fem. so pretty, handsome, all thats good 👍 i am a taken man tho so if you flirt with me hard or dm me looking for pics or something you prob wont get much of a response.
What style are you wearing/where do you get your clothes? I originally identified as a decora boy, but i kinda do my own thing these days. I like bright color and clashing patterns and maximallism. I shop a variety of places, but a lot of my stuff is from Kei Collective and Candy Trap. All of my kandi and most of my jewlery is homemade.
What is Twee/Do you Make Music? Twee is a music genre I developed a special interest in a few years back. It's a style of indie pop that originated after the UK rise of the famous c86 compilation tape in the late eighties, and was developed with a focus on low-fidelity, diy sound combined with upbeat, bubblegum-y pop sentiments and a naive, childlike outlook. It's both cute and somewhat rough around the edges. I do not make music, and don’t hold any musical skill. I’m just a major fan.
Do you have a DNI? I haven't in a long time, due to it being pretty frequently ignored and my following count growing to the point i can't really control that anymore. I can and will block people, but i feel my opinions are made fairly clear through what I post here.

I saw that you need ideas, so how about a yandere from the Neons? I mean, I would like to see more content from them since they represent the elements in Honkai star rail, by the way, sorry if you don't understand, my English is bad... I leave you a little drawing of a masculine makima (it has nothing to do with it, but as a gift ) xd Also, I don't know if I'm the only one, but Nanook makes me handsome >///<

Yus the Aeons are so cool looking!! You really feel like they’re actual gods of the universe, especially since you don’t see them first hand (at least for now). Also Masculine Makima reminds me of Karma Akabane lol. I’ll draw it in my style, and add it here as an extra for you ♥️
Hb we mash those two topics up together actually?

YANDERE! AEONS + VARIOUS! HSR x AEON OF FEAR/CONTROL! READER
Tumblr media
You have no memory of your conception, only that you started existing for what felt like an eternity.
You represented fear and despair, but unlike IX whose mere presence drove humanity into insanity, or the rest of your fellow aeon’s godlike status amongst the world,
you walked around as a normal, ordinary human being.
As normal as an Aeon can get anyways.
In your current lifetime, you took the shape of Himeko’s “brother”, planting fake memories into her mind and being the one that urged her to travel the stars. While she was the navigator, you took the role of conductor before creating Pompom to supplant you.
Welt always knew you weren’t just a regular person. Your eyes always felt distant, so far off that not even a century’s worth of trail blazing would allow him to come close. As such he mostly kept cordial relations with you.
The youngsters of the bunch on the other hand, never seemed to realize the sheer magnanimity of the danger you held and always hung around you.
Particularly that Caelus. The newest addition to the crew. The stellaron within him always pulsed in some sort of giddiness and excitement whenever you were around. The boy couldn’t help but be a nervous wreck when he was around you. Stuttering and stumbling was a common occurrence whenever you so decide as to just breathe at his direction.
You knew what those Stellarons are, their nature, their purpose, the way they were created. In fact if you wanted to, you could have taken the Astral Express straight to the source of it all, your partner: Nanook.
However that would have ruined the fun of it all. So you chose to let them have their little adventures before the final confrontation.
Also because you signed a contract to not meddle with Nanook’s business in exchange for your freedom. But that was another story to tell.
“Why . . . why do you continue this farce? This utterly worthless play?”
IX’s voice rang within your ears and no one else’s. You were the only being it ever gave the time of day to. You imagine it to be the reason why insanity slowly built itself within the recesses of your head.
“You may see the entire universe as worthless . . . but I,” You breath hitched. You looked around your room. Time was frozen. Everything turned grey. You weren’t afraid of the others in the express hearing you, just that the following words you were about to spout out felt like bile on your mouth. “I suppose I’m still a bit like them in a way. I wish to see the world without its evils.”
“And destroying them. That is my first step.” You summon an orb of golden light. Stellarons. The creation of the very thing that made you loath all evil. Including yourself. You will eradicate these and then Nanook yourself. One day.
“Is that why you send those hunters out?”
“Perhaps.” The orb within your hands get covered in chains, quickly getting crushed within the metal like substance as it soon disappeared.
“Do as you wish. Just do not bother me like that imbecile.”
“I promise. I will be much worse than Yaoshi.”
IX remained silent for several seconds, no doubt regretting its decision of associating with you before adding, “. . . And do not die.”
“That one I cannot guarantee.”
Your room’s color returns, time continues. Signaling the end of two Aeons’ encounter.
Nanook, the Aeon that threatened to eradicate all that you love. All so they could have your soul once more. Within your gilded cage. Within your original body that lied dormant.
The Destruction will no longer be a path. That is a guarantee you write upon the stars when your Trail Blazing lifetime eventually comes to a close.
The stage is set, your actors ready.
All you needed was the cue.
Your gloved hand arose, pointing towards the express’s windows in the shape of a gun.
“Bang.”

The erasure of Blackness from 'stemme' & 'stud' and why it bothers me
This is more of a vent post/social analysis then 'what is stemme 101' but to summarise stemme stands for stud-femme lesbian. A stud in basic terms is a Black lesbian with masc presentations and roles. A stemme is a Black lesbian with fem and masc presentations and roles. Stemme is a Black lesbian term but according to tiktok it's 'just being masc and fem' and 'has nothing to do with race'. And that pisses me off.
Black gender nonconformity is barely represented. There isn't a 'how to be GNC whilst Black 101' and it gets really isolating tryna figure yourself out with no one to help you. Tomboy and androgynous representation is predominantly white. Being tomboy or andro is associated with having short straight hair or a buzzcut on a white body. Black women in hip-hop and R&B helped to shape Black masculinity and femininity in pop culture. Aaliyah, Queen Latifah, Left Eye, Da Brat etc. helped shape the Black tomboy aesthetics we see today. A large chuck of queer masculinity borrows off of Black, especially Black American, masculine aesthetics. The durags, the chains, the caps, the trainers, the AAVE etc. it all goes back to hip-hop culture.
Black women aren't allowed to be masculine. We're masculinised but we can't be autonomously masculine (people don't get this distinction when this topic comes up but that's another post babes x). Despite Black women, especially darkskin Black women being called mannish and strong we don't actually get to reap the benefits of being masc. We don't get to be the positive masc traits like being smart, brave etc it's only the negatives. And this is 2x harder if you're trans. It gets really confusing as a dark-skinned Black girl excluded from femininity growing up whilst also being so feminine and girly apparently you're on the end of misogynoir. Stem(me) basically summed up my relation to gender pretty well. There was never a word for this experience growing up.
So when I go to look up stemme and it's predominantly white lesbians in snapbacks I don't get a good feeling. And when I see shit about how stem 'had nothing to do with race' I'm fuming. Even more so when people say STUD had nothing to do with Black lesbians. Huh?? Black women's representation is already lacking in most areas even for cishet Black women. But Black GNC identity is SO rare. We can't even have a niche of a niche. That's how little Black culture matters in society's eyes. 'What do we use then?' Chapstick. Tomboy. Tomboy femme. Butch. Masc. The dozens of representations that have always represented your experiences. You're gonna be fine I promise you.
The main thing that set off this vent was seeing some tiktok user make a video crediting herself for defining stem as being masc and fem and ignoring all the Black lesbians that called her out and the audacity for her to say it 'used to mean that' and that 'terms evolve' .
Taking Black lesbian terms and changing their meaning is not evolution. It is theft. Erasing Black tomboys and erasing the literal stud from stud-femme, stemme, is just continuing the erasure of Black LGBTQIA identities in a society that already doesn't want us around. Stemme has always been stud-femme and I'm gonna always honour that, even if I stop using the label for myself, even if no one else will.

You made careful, yet hasty steps along the halls of the palace. Having one room in mind as your goal. You had no time to stop and admire the elegant paints on the wall like you always do. You had to make haste today. It would be very rude to keep a royal waiting.
Your knuckles hit the gold-framed, double doors twice. Swinging open to revel the very tall Ars Goetia himself. He allows you to step into the room, shutting the door behind you.
"I came as soon as I could." You bow your head, Paimon picking you up into his arms. He leans the tip of his beak against your nose.
"Oh how I've missed you, my dear." He mumbles, his eyes closed. The cold-hearted bird did not care for much, but he did care for you.
"It's been a week, sire." You reply, yet you can't help the smile that fills your face.
"A week is too long." He sighs, sitting down in a elegant armchair with you in his lap.
"Where has your wife gone, Pai?" You ask him, feeling comfortable enough to drop some of the professionalism.
"She's taken one of our children off somewhere." He answers, messing with the buttons of your uniform. "You know, I kinda wish that bitch was dead."
You gasp, covering your mouth with your hands "Paimon, that's at terrible thing to say."
"It's true, though. If she were out of the picture, we could do more activities together." He replies, pinching the end of your tail between his talons.
You shiver in delight and lean your head on his shoulder, stroking the feathers on his neck. He grabs your horn suddenly, bringing your face up to his. "You would like that wouldn't you, my dear?"
You nod you head, Paimon tilting your chin up. "Words, darling."
"Yes.. yes sire.. I would like that." You respond, a slight excited quiver in your voice.
"Good, I would too." He nuzzles his beak into your neck, taking in your scent.
"Do you think she'd be mad if she caught us?" You ask, staring at the painting on the wall.
"Who?" He questions, making you roll your eyes. "Your wife."
"Maybe. You're a servant after all." He answers halfheartedly, not really caring about the topic.
"You know, you are much like your son." You observe.
"Which one?" He asks, his head still at your neck.
"Stolas. He's been hanging out with that little Imp kid." You reply fondly.
"I see." Paimon says, having no interest again. You sigh when you notice this.
"Would you like to go back to your room, sire?" You ask him, which finally makes him raise his head.
"Yes, please." He answers as you climb off him, grabbing his wing. The two of you make your way down the elegant hallways once again. This time, hand in hand.

A little (mostly Dialtown) rant of my own
Ok first of all you all need to calm down, I'm goin on this rant despite not currently being in the dialtown fandom but I was back around when the game first came out. I just feel like I gotta ask you to be calm because I know how agressive people can be online with that shield on anonymity. I also do not hate dialtown or Dogman nor do I blame them for said issues that will be stated.
Dialtown as a whole does pretty obviously have a problem about representation of fem/fem presenting characters especially in the fandom side. As a previous rant stated before most fem characters are either glossed over in favour of male/masc presenting ones, such as with the main dateables. It even extends to side characters which feels rather disheartening. Now I get why its mainly the male/masc presenting ones who get attention, I must highlight the fact that I am a Bi-Ace Transman and I tended to focus on Oliver and Randal over Karen so I was part of the problem on that part. So i get the gender serotonin of drawing them but I hope you can also see how it means that for example, Karen is almost completely overlooked. I would see myself in them because of the shared gender, I really do understand why this has been happening. You are not evil for doing this, that is not what this rant is about in the slightest. Like the previous rant before stated the game doesn't pass the Bechdal test (Which if you are unaware is a media test which requires two fem characters to talk to eachother about anything other then a man, already an extremely low bar to pass) which Dialtown does not pass. It's completely valid to have reservations about that as it is an overall problem with media at large. Media at large is still a white straight cis male dominated space and needs more diversity in all ways. Dialtown as a whole is a good game and has a diverse cast which is wonderful and amazing to see. The only issue is how some are highlighted more then others or demonized in a way that lines up with misogyny (Such as with Mingus' behavior being villainized by the fandom while Stabby and Shooty doing the same thing being ok and lighthearted in the eyes of the fandom which from an outside view just looks like misogyny I am sorry folks. If the only factor in if you like or dislike a characters actions is because they are a woman is misogyny even if they're cis or trans, misogyny is just the word for discrimination in this way) Pointing this out doesn't mean an attack on anyone, pointing out an issue is meant to bring attention to said issue so it can be improved or fixed. The previous person who I have been referencing and paraphrasing here (who I am not going to @ as they don't need more direct harassment) was slightly attacked for having a rant, yes everyone is entitled to their opinion but that does not give either side the right to actively attack the other. Please remain diplomatic.
People are allowed to highlight issues, if we don't then they won't ever get fixed. We're meant to stick together and fix things together, not attack eachother. Thats what people like terfs want us to do, they want us to tear eachother apart so that they get what they want, our destruction. We have to stand together with the things we love. My apologies for how long this ended up being but I just had to get it out of my head. Just my thoughts as a transman/voidrabbit on the topic

Ive been having a lot of panic attacks lately because:
I am a nonbinary/trans masc kid
I live in the south (conservative area)
I just found out that Trump is currently trying to push back his trial, so he might end up president. My family is legitimately considering moving north like really fast, and I don't want to lose the few (queer) friends I have, and I don't want to give up my hopes for going to a local college and getting a job I would want.
It's very scary to me that my life could change completely because a criminal might be allowed to become president. I've mostly accepted that me and my sibling would start working so we could help our family catch up to the higher cost of living, but it stills scares me because I'm pretty sure not all states are trans accepting all the way through.
Do you know the best way to ask my parents for a legal name change in case that becomes the next wave of anti-trans stuff?
Hey kiddo, thank you so much for reaching out. I know it's scary and I'm so sorry this is your situation right now. I agree, the idea that trump could be reelected is terrible and scary for all of us. But, whatever happens, we'll face it as a community and we'll face it together. We've been through situations like this before and the trans community will always survive.
My best advice would be to approach the topic and explain all the benefits, especially with the current political climate and explain all the ways it'll help you.
I'm really proud of you kiddo and my inbox is always open if you need to talk!

sorry if this is an odd ask to send out of nowhere but i thought your mlp post was really interesting! could you go further into detail about what you think the show does wrong in later seasons? you don't have to, i'm just curious since i really like the show and it's been one of my hyperfixations for a very long time & you have really interesting takes/meta on things in general
thank you for your time!! :3
It very much gets "less about girls" as it progresses. People's background friends/family are suddenly almost always male, for example, with Fluttershy getting a brother, Rainbow Dash's other school friends being male, her dad being more prominently played than her mom, things like that.
This isn't even a bad thing!
While I would argue, and have before, that a show almost exclusively about women is an important thing for the media landscape compared to the glut of All About Men shows?
The reality is that any artistic lens that focuses exclusively on a single gender is going to be worse for it, if for no reason other than where are the trans people.
A truly "gender neutral gaze" would be the ideal, but to be honest I don't even know what that might look like. I can at least conceptualize the female gaze out from existing, limited examples of female led production for a female audience.
But in terms of, IDK, a trans-led production for a genderqueer/neutral audience, I don't even know it that kind of thing exists. It must, because well, trans people are everywhere in the indie arts, but I have never seen it.
Certainly I've never seen it around a kid's show. And one of the things that makes kid media so easy to analyze is, the "allowed" topics are fairly limited. When sex is off the table, you can devote that time to deepening friendships. When men are off the table, you can spend that time deepening female characterization. etc etc.
So anyway, while I would say a female gaze is preferable to a male one in this male dominated society, both have their deep shortcomings. The way MLP handled male characters in S1 by either not having them, or having them be kind of the butt of the joke (Spike) isn't actually a good thing, just a very different one than is common. And there are plenty of ways that the show mistreated Spike particularly for Being A Boy that would make me hesitate to suggest season 1 to, say, trans masc viewers.
But then there are some ways that I can safely say later seasons are just worse.
The fat jokes, for example, were Not A Thing in S1 and as a fat viewer that was a huge relief at first, which became a sharp slap in the face as characters began making fun of heavy eating or using obese background ponies as gross out gags, etc.
On the other hand, the racism very much was present from the beginning, as evidenced by Over A Barrel's portrayal of native americans as literally another species. And that's before we get into the sheer racism of pony colonialism in the first place. Also Zecora the Zebra's... situation. Which was okay as a one off bit in S1, trying if not succeeding at the message of "different=/=bad."
But, like many of these early flaws, the later seasons magnify the problem, especially when the show tries to approach real world issues. Just off the top:
Zecora becomes the magical negro whose mystic knowledge transcends that of the pony gods.
Gryphons become antisemitic stereotypes, obsessed with cash hoarding and isolationism.
Yaks live in technologically inferior wastelands of Yakyakistan, where they are loud, rowdy, and even dangerous.
Dragons are... just... really fucking bad, like by nature, with rare "good ones" going to live among ponies to become civilized.
The fucking saddle arabians apparently just Not Having Perfomance Art and needing to be taught by Trixie.
The kirin being very literally silent to show how zen they are, needing Westerners to give them back their voices.
The sheer audacity to bring Little Strongheart back in the fucking finale and "assign" her as Applejack's token buffalo friend (not even RD???) after AJ and her family nearly wiped the buffalo out and fully never fucking apologized
There's definitely more. Basically every single non-pony species shown to be sapient ends up some kind of a racist mess. At least cows are just like... white people from wisconsin so there's less racism inherent to their depiction but even then...
There are also ways in which the attempts to cater to a male audience weaken the show's overall presentation. Ponies with adult men's human meme images as cutie marks started popping up, for example, which is again not a bad thing, but weakens the overall fantastical world building.
Likewise, the attempts to modernize the setting are... um. Let's go with uneven.
In S1 technology is firmly pre-industrial Euro-Fantasy. I'd put it around 1770-1800 in the human western world.
By S2 there is an electrical grid even in "small" towns like ponyville, something which in the human world didn't take place until about150 years later, with another 50 years to roll out things like video games, which also start appearing.
But only for ponies.
Never for the other species.
I get why they did that. It's a "have your cake and eat it too" scenario where they can keep the pre-industrial fantasy tech level sometimes, but use a modern tech level at other times. It opens up more storytelling options. And it's not like the magical horse universe needs to obey our physics and timelines.
But then why only ponies.
All that does is deepen the racial division between ponies and other species. Which the later seasons LOVe to do. Deepen racial divieds.
After all, in S1 most other species (cows, gryphons, etc) were shown to live in equestria too. But in later seasons, are revealed to live in cloistered ethnostates nominally self ruling but in practical terms subservient to the equestrian state if they want basic rights like the fucking sun.
Which acts to retcon Spike's hatching and adoption from something very heartwarming into something very horrific.
Honestly, the "male gaze" is not the issue I have with late seasons of MLPFIM. It very much comes down to "this show got SO fucking racist SO fucking fast what the FUCK."
And that probably would have happened with all female writers and directors, too, if they were mostly white.
This all makes me sound like I hate MLP, but I promise you, all of this criticism comes from a place of utmost love. This show is really, REALLY good. It is charming, beautifully animated, excellently directed, with passion poured into every aspect of the visuals, the audio, the stories, the characters...
That's what makes these constant missteps so painful to encounter.
Because the highs are so high!
I mean, the movie easily constitutes the best 2D animation out of the western world in DECADES and every track on the album is a banger, and that's just the movie. Cartoon movies aren't exactly noted for their stunning quality, but MLPFIM sure as fuck stuns.
And when the highs are that high, oh man, the lows look lower by comparison.

I found your post about forgetting about privileges after gaining them very insightful, but I don't really agree with what you said about transmisandry.
Because I've never seen transmisandry used as a shorthand for dening that trans men can gain privilege by transitioning (which is how your comment read to me). The usage that I'm familiar with is as an umbrella term for transphobia specific/specifically trageted at trans men/trans masc people.
An example: The visceral disgust often expressed about the concept of pregnant men and the way this bleeds over into treatment and discussion of pregnant trans men. Is this transphobia: absolutely, but it also just not something that trans women have to deal with (not directly at least). So why not group issues like these with a specific word?
You could absolutely make the case that most of the things that could be called transmisandry are a combination of transphobia and misogyny and should be named accordingly. But as it stands transmisogyny is currently used as "transphobia trageted at people perceived as trans women".
(Sorry about the spelling, English isn't my first language)
What you are describing is transphobia. I guarantee you that if a trans woman could get pregnant (or once medical innovations allow trans women to), people would also react with extreme disgust and violence. Just as transphobes get disgusted when either trans men or trans women breast feed.
It helps no one for us to act like every single highly specific experience of transphobia is its own unique oppression, because that denies us the ability to talk about the actual systems and beliefs that make this stuff happen in a broader sense.
Both trans men and trans women face loss of reproductive control. Trans women are forced to be sterilized in order to change their gender marker in nearly every country in the world. Yet almost no one talks about it, including women's reproductive justice organizations. Many of those same organizations are quite vocal about preserving reproductive care for trans men. Why?
This is not intended to erase trans men facing restrictions on reproduction. We have to realize we are all under attack collectively. We need to stand up for trans women's reproductive freedom as well as our own. These attacks have the same origin points: transphobia, and misogyny.
Oprah's "pregnant man" was the first trans man I ever saw in media and it fucked me up, so I get why this topic hurts. But our pain must be a bridge to our fellow trans people, especially women. Let's not lift that bridge up and separate ourselves.

hey clove! i'm taking an ap visual arts class this year and we need to do a "sustained investigation" aka create a series of works connecting to and exploring a theme. one i'm thinking about a lot is relating queer people and the essence of queerness to divinity and also the occult, as a lash-back at christian nationalism and a celebration of queer joy. some examples of this would be comparing the transmasculine experience to the christian creation narrative and gnc/genderfluid people to figures similar to dionysus. i'm still workshopping the concept, do you have any thoughts on this or experiences you'd be willing to share so i can think of specific pieces and ideas to explore?
also i recently bought a binder and i felt so pretty and masculine but at the same time felt this overwhelming freedom to be feminine. it was really cool and i've decided i'm going to grow my hair out long again. i felt a lot like scott, just having this sort of wild feminine whimsy, and it felt really nice
hope you're doing well!! glad you were able to relax a bit :))))
Dude I'm literally planning a short story about a transmasc man who forms a relationship from childhood with the voice of God. This is crazy. I'll tell you about it later but there's so much potential there and it's such a cool idea. The words virgin birth in terms of the virgin Mary herself being Jesus Christ. An idea of a god that arranged for the circumstances of something that has to grow into an intended outcome even if through struggle. A god that like learns from trans people and finds it interesting because it's different and it's the same and now people are making new genders? You made new ones? Why did it take this long for you to think of new ones? I threw up about five minutes ago because I am the child of severe alcoholics and yet if you allow me two cocktails my body will collapse on itself like a dying star.
Also fun fact you can still be Scott-core without your binder if you want. He's got a chest too. His secret is that if anyone tries to question the validity of a man with breasts he gets really, truly, openly bored and politely waits for them to make their point before changing the topic and not acknowledging what they said at all.
The binder sounds very useful though. I miss my old binder. If that's the thing that makes you feel powerful being masculine and feminine that's fucking radical as hell. Wear a pretty skirt and a cool shirt and put like a fucking scrunchie in your hair. There's so many options and if you're a guy or masc leaning person who takes advantage of them you are just objectively more interesting, case closed. Anyone who is locking themselves out of half the amount of baubles and drapery that exists because of gender or body type is at a strategic disadvantage.
I was going to say that if my man Scott saw you on the street he'd be proud, but I know he would be unable to perceive the potential risks or fears. He's so insufferably Non-judgemental that he could bump directly into you by accident and come out with no other thought than "I am the same height as who I believe to be a child".
Edgar, on the other hand, would absolutely stare at you too closely until they felt weird and looked away, but would think about your style and freedom on and off for days afterwards.
I need to sleep for a few hours you people need to stop being interesting and important to me.

I honestly don't know how to start this cause I'm awkward lol but basically: my mom thinks my close(ish?) Friend is my "boyfriend"... could not be further from the truth 💀 (also sorry this is a bit long btw i like detail & that is a pain for me to deal with sometimes. This could be catagorized as venty but this is meant to be just a bit of a mind dump)
I'm aromantic asexual (romo+sex repulsed/adverse) & bigender (boy+girl), the um- suspected "boyfriend": she's a lesbian trans woman. This has happened a couple times, ligit were that mean gay & overly nice lesbian meme & somehow A NOTABLE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THINK WERE DATING 💀 told her like imidiatly over text just to clear anything up like if my moms weird or smth. She was just like "oh shit" & we havnt mentioned it since.
What makes it a bit awkward tho is I DO lowkey have a squish/qp crush on her, on & off, but I know that my attraction tends to fade & waver with time (like- Lithqueerplatonic / Queerplatonicflux I guess). So I wouldn't really want to be in like, a qpr w/ her. That & I've always kinda "worry" that my boy/masc part may make most lesbians uncomfortable being in a qpr with me and vice versa with gay men & my girl/ fem part.
Anyway I just have really intense platonic feelings when I do have them & I wish as a society we were more ok with expressing that ;> RELASHIONSHIP ANARCHY WHEN?? when will ppl be "allowed" to kiss their homies goodnight without it being perceived romantic?? WHEN ;D (I'm also on the aplatonic spectrum, dont have many friends & dont plan on having many. I think too many ppl overwhelm me.)
My ideal QPR would just be like: cuddling/leaning on eachother, time together, nicknames & small gifts of appreciation (inexpensive &/or handmade stuff or food), I find kissing weird as a concept so a no for that personally in general. And like, at this point... thinking out loud idk if I want to do that w/ her specifically or if I just want a qpr? Cause like I'd only feel comfortable even touching ppl I'm fairly if not really close to & she checks that box by being in my short friend list. For reference: I only started regularly hugging & saying I love you to my best friend recently & we've known eachother & been mutually eachothers best friends for a decade. (I used to occasionally question if i had qp feelings for him but I am like VERY sure it's just heavy platonic appreciation. i love him so much hes the brother i never had i fr cannot stress how much i love him hes fr fr the best bro bro not even related to the topic really i just want to say that i love tf out of him hes awsome)
Anyway plz prey/etc that I don't get weirded out by my mom so much that I come out as aroace 💀 (i find even the idea of being in a romantic/sexual relationship repusing & unconfortable to think about. Just not my thing, if that changes fine i just don't anticipate that happening. Also I don't think she's like, a "kick me out" aphobic, just an uneducated 1. I just don't want to deal w/ any of it tbh. I want a clean cut "I am [blank]" statment and for the "conversation" to be over with but I don't expect that ) tldr: wish me luck on this journey of the cringe that is existing ☺
good luck!!!!! existing do be difficult but it will be okay :]

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT MY BLOG:
This is a pretty basic criteria to follow really...
CREEPS/P3D0S DNI. THIS ALSO INCLUDES WAYC*ST/BAYC*ST SHIPPERS. FUCK OFF!!!
This blog is a safe space for all identities. If you intentionally discriminate against race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, or disability (including mental health issues and invisible disabilities) you are NOT welcome here. Do not interact.
----------------------------------------------------
See below for resources on global issues if needed:
BLACK LIVES MATTER ✊🏿
This is a great website which contains several educational resources regarding black lives matter, along with a wide amount of resources for other important topics too such as mental health, LGBTQIA and indigenous people (to name a few).
FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸
Over time, I will be adding more and more ways that you can support Palestinians, even if you are not in the place to give money. Please remember to spread awareness and certified resources (such as gofundme links) for Palestinian families so that their reach is higher.
To begin, here are the big three brands in support of Israel, funding their genocide. By no longer supporting these companies, you are allowing the effect of their contributions to lower. This has been PROVEN to work so long as it is consistent.
Tumblr media
This is a link to a free daily click site. This is one of many ways you can easily help Palestinian people, and it takes less than a minute to click the button!
It is VERY important to remain well informed beyond simple algorithmic trends and to keep spreading crucial messages no matter your platform size, to provide voices and education to those who need it most.
----------------------------------------------------
edit: just an extra note, thank you sm for reading this far if you've looked further into my intro post, it really does mean a lot <3

Yall i'm gonna write some MK stuff so yall better request some stuff (NSFW allowed). Some more rare kinks too, i don't have any rules except be specific af so tell me all the details and if you want a HC or fic, i usually do masc leaning reader but fem reader is fine too. So anyway
Your request must include:
Character(s) and which version
Reader desc (eg. fem, trans male, goth, etc)
Plot
Fic/HC/Matchmaking (pick what type of request)
Matchmaking specifically, just give me your personality, hobby, and whatever you feel is important
MK11/MK1 Request open!
I write for most male characters so have fun
(some might be harder than others though, i'm a big fan of Kabal, Shao Kahn, Fujin, and Shang Tsung so usually those requests are faster but besides that, request anyone)
Lists of requests below
Red undone, Yellow in progress, Green ready
(Character and reader, topic and request type (who requested it ie. Anon, username, gen description))
Request list
MK11 Shao Kahn x fearless!reader (anon)

I was reading an article from Unseen Japan about the controversy last year where a little boy in Japan was unable to cosplay as Cure Wing because the "transformation corner" at this one PreCure event didn't have a Cure Wing costume. The outcry eventually led to the companies announcing that such events would provide a costume, and that Bandai would be selling a Cure Wing costume on their Premium Bandai service.
I'm doing some research on a topic I plan on uploading soon, so I read the article a bit more in-depth, and I found this one section very interesting.
Tumblr media
This was not the first time this happened.
Back in 2017, for "KiraPre," Cure Chocolat's costume was also sold solely through the Premium Bandai service. The reason why this is so important for both Wing and Chocolat is that, Premium Bandai is a service where you can pre-order a certain product for a limited time only, in contrast to how these costumes are usually sold, on the shelves of stores like Toys R Us in Japan.
This basically means that, a significantly less amount of Cure Wing and Cure Chocolat costumes were made and sold through a more restrictive market. Given the controversy, it feels like Bandai was just reluctant to make these costumes in the first place for some reason.
What's even wilder is that, several years before, during the airing of "Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!," Cure Rouge didn't get an updated cosplay costume alongside her peers, in stores. From what the article implies, it was never sold at all, not even through a service like Premium Bandai.
So this has happened three times now: Cure Rouge, Cure Chocolat, and Cure Wing. What do those three characters have in common? In the case of Cure Rouge and Cure Chocolat, they're both boyish girls, and Cure Wing is outright a boy Pretty Cure. This has led me to believe that Bandai just does not like boyish/actual boy characters in Pretty Cure, and in the case of Cure Wing, there's even more evidence to back that up, as he still never got a "PreCure Style" doll like the other HiroPre characters.
PreCure is a franchise that is managed by several different companies, the two most notable being Toei and Bandai. Toei has its fair share of problems, but it seems like Bandai is the more socially regressive one, given how they've treated these characters in merchandising. In that same Unseen Japan article, the author mentions how Toei had to plead with Bandai to allow Cure Soleil from StarPre, the first and only brown/dark-skinned Pretty Cure, to exist. And even so, the merchandise Bandai produced generally did not properly reflect her skin tone, making her orange or even outright whitewashing her. Cure Chocolat is also the most masc girl we've gotten as a Pretty Cure and really the last one since, which I also feel like is tied to Bandai's views.
To step away from PreCure for a bit, the Kamen Rider franchise, which Bandai also releases merch for, also has a similar problem. For "Kamen Rider Revice," one of the main characters, Kamen Rider Jeanne, is operated by a woman. Yet her transformation device toy was limited to being sold on Premium Bandai rather than at retail like the rest of her male peers. Or even in "Kamen Rider Gotchard," where the secondary main character, Kamen Rider Majade, another woman, also only had her transformation device limited to Premium Bandai. From these examples it shows that Bandai believes PreCure should only appeal to (girly) girls and Kamen Rider should only appeal to boys, and that they're digging their heels in with those gender norms.
There's a highly likely chance that the upcoming Wonderful PreCure will have another boy Cure appear midseason. If that does happen, will Bandai also treat him the same way they treated Cure Wing? They seriously need to do better, and people need to hold their feet to the fire.
