Every day I curse Injustice for giving us literally the best Suicide Squad lineup in decades just for a quick joke then killing them all

Not joking all these characters are so interesting, distinct and fun with them all having completely different types of engaging motivations and pathos, completely unique looks and power sets and there are so many different types of neuro divergence and mental illness within them you could make such an engaging story about these villains who are all treated as jokes being forced together.

Despite Danny's best efforts, no matter how much time past, Amity Park refused to see Phantom as a hero.

Sure, there were pockets of support, particularly among teens, but most of the town blames Phantom for the property damage, saying if he didn't fight the ghosts then it wouldn't be so bad, to that time he got mind controlled by Freakshow and "attacked" the mayor. It wears him down. It wears Tucker and Sam down. Jazz can only try to support them all.

Then one day, a member of the Justice League visits. Someone minor, and kinda a jerk... maybe a Wonder Twin? Zan? Whatever. They don't investigate; they don't look deeper. They listen to the town folks and declare the ghost hunters, Red Huntress and the Fentons, to be the official heroes of the town.

Worse? Danny Phantom is officially considered a villain to the Justice League. Tuck hacks into the Watchtower and confirms that they have a file (a heavily inaccurate file) about how to defeat Phantom.

Danny doesn't think he can do this anymore.

A few weeks later, a young villain escapes into Amity and demands (begs) that Danny help them escape from the hero after them. No idea who, I can't find a lot of info on teen villains in DC, so let's fudge some ages and make it Kyd Wyckyd from the Teen Titans cartoon. Danny agrees, because to hell with the Justice Losers, and they defeat the hero, becoming friends in the process. Kyd confesses that they became a villain after being ostracized bc of how they look, and they've been trying to avoid villain organizations because HIVE was abusive, but it's really hard to be a villain alone bc of all the heroes.

Sam gets an idea. Tucker agrees with the idea. Jazz is just happy they'll end up making friends.

The next day, the Teen Villain Alliance is formed, ready to assist with any teenage illegal shenanigans their allies might get into.

Some notes:

It's created to be a healthier option for teen "villains" to connect with others and support each other.

It's more important that this is for Teens rather than Villains. They're tired of adult villains taking advantage of them. The TVA would rather ally with a teen vigilante than with an adult villain.

Again, no idea who the teen villains are, but Klarion is definitely here. He leaves the Light for the chaos of the TVA. Maybe Ember is there too?

Timeline wise, this is around when Tim is still Robin, but Damien has arrived at Wayne Manor.

This is because, when it comes time to try to infiltrate the TVA, they'll have a convenient child-assassin who has none of the monitors of a teen hero that Phantom immediately picks up on.

Damien, who at this point has been abandoned by his mother, dismissed and scolded by his father, and has had no success at carving his own place in the family, jumps at the chance. He is then surrounded by peers who don't insult him or try to change his behavior (too much; jazz is trying to help him find healthier methods of expressing himself). He... might not want to continue being a spy.

Danny, Sam, Tuck, and Jazz are the founding members.

Danny reinvents himself as the High Prince of the Infinite, Prince Phantom Dark. He got kingship from fighting Pariah Dark, but since he's still alive, he's only a prince. He steals the last name Dark as an intimidation tatic against those in the know; only Danny would have the balls to claim family with Pariah.

Sam works as a powerless villain, but she might no be powerless? Either way, Danny gives her a bunch of repurposed Fenton tech, and she buys the rest with her parents credit card. She does NOT care if that's traced back to the Mansons. She would choose something goth, maybe something spider related or even bat?

I love Pharaoh Tucker, so I think he should get magic powers? Since pharaohs of old were considered the balance between the real and the divine. He's still a tech guy, now he's a tech and magic guy.

Jazz isn't really a villain, more of a team mom who's planning on using everyone's psyche's as her thesis paper. You know what, that's her callsign, she's Psyche. Sometimes she flirts with Nightwing.

Alicole was underwhelming, but B&C takes the cake as the worst adaptation of a single asoiaf/f&b event so far:

It was so rushed and whitewashed and did not focus on Helaena at all. Where is Helaena pleading for her son's life and offering up her own life instead? Where is Maelor whom Helaena was coerced to offer up as a sacrifice and does not bear to look at? Where is Heleana being forced to make a decision that haunts her entire life? She is obviously traumatized by what happened, but having her just say "they killed the boy" does not do her character and her grief justice. I really hope we get to see more of Helaena in episode 2 because it would be really upsetting if the show just brushes her off.

Not to mention Alicent's absence from the events of B&C. Alicent was really there, worried for her daughter's and grandchildren's lives, and was the first person to offer Helaena some comfort and consolation. The more I think about it the more mad I get because we got robbed of what could have been a truly harrowing and distressing scene that would do the events and the characters justice. Book!B&C was about two mothers and their shared agony, pain, and grief. It could have been powerful and shocking from an acting perspective alone if they had followed the events of the book.

"You doing alright, kid?" Omin leaned in the doorway.

"I...yeah." Talin shrugged. He was sat at a desk working at his alchemy kit.

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna be headed back to Faerun to get the cure to everyone else."

"Actually, sir, can I ask you something?" Talin rotated to face Omin better.

Omin's eyebrows furrowed a bit. "Of course. Is something wrong?"

"Not really, nothing urgent. I just..." Talin hesitated. "Do you...are you aware people give a shit about you?"

Omin chuckled a bit nervously. "Yes, I am aware of people's opinions of me."

"Are you?" Talin waved a hand. "I don't mean that unkindly. But I don't think you know what it would have done if you had died from the infection, and hadn't told anyone."

Omin paused. "Talin, what are you trying to say?"

Talin sighed. "You said you had higher priorities than worrying about the fact you were infected. And sure, fine, maybe it wouldn't have made a difference to the mission. But just like your job is to worry about your people, my job is to worry about my people. I can't do that if I don't know that one of my people isn't okay. I-I can't make good decisions if I don't have all the information."

"You knew people on this planet were infected, and you knew people back home were infected, too. Why does it matter that I was?"

Talin thought for a moment. "Because...I...we look up to you, sir. Somehow, it was that much more real to see you infected. You tend to put on this air of 'untouchable-ness'." Talin looked down at his hands. "I know you're just as mortal as the rest of us. But I always picture you as this unstoppable force that'll always be there. When I'm show evidence to the contrary, it shocks me a bit."

Githyanki doodling on post-it notes that I cleaned up a lil bit Lae'zel from memory on the first (im only happy with the profile tbh), and Anma and Mitas on the second (It was SO easy to fit them in BG3 lore it's insane... I even have a whole storyline roughly figured out for them and it came together in like 30 minutes on my walk home from work.) I don't have any energy to draw nowadays except on post-its, but it's better than nothing.

do the hotd writers not understand that the show would be infinately more compelling if they stuck to the books in providing both sides with nuanced portrayals? in framing team black as oppressed saints and team green as unsympathetic fools they only work to make all the characters less enjoyable.

what purpose has removing maelor from the show (therefore ruining daeron's future storyline if they ever include him) other than making b&c less psychologically damaging for helaena? why was alicent not here? the parallels of grief meant to be drawn in 'a son for a son' were ultimately stripped in all of these decisions. helaena doesn't even call her dead son by his name when telling alicent about it- its all so detached and disappionting.

oh and of course this was all a mistake which daemon had no part in.
