PERSONAL ASKS

Anon Asked: Have you ever watched The Nightmare Before Christmas? I was wondering if you watch it during Halloween or Christmas or do you consider it as both for the two seasons?

A: I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! I consider it appropriate to watch for the last quarter of the whole year haha.

Anon Asked: Do you sometimes envision you and your husband as Sonic and Amy?

A: I do not, we really aren't anything like them. Ryan is very quiet and humble and shy. And yes I am forward and romantic like Amy, but unlike her, I'm an annoying little gremlin LOL!

Anon Asked: Have you ever watch 'Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'? You MIGHT like it amd I highly recommend you watching it ( but don't force yourself if you don't want to)

A: I've never actually watched it properly, but I've watched compilations of it and I really enjoyed what I saw! I love the art style of it and I like how all the turtles are unique. Plus Ben Schwartz, c'mon!

Anon Asked: Hi e-vay, have you ever played life is strange?

A: Hi! YES! I loved that game. Nana always said that she was Chloe and I was Max haha. I didn't play the sequel though.

Anon Asked: Here’s some positivity to counter that negative ask you got! What’s your favourite thing about your new style? *grabby hands* Gimme all the details!

A: I appreciate that. Honestly, I didn't purposely "change" the way I draw; art just evolves over time ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Besides, I still think my style is MY style. I feel like the characters are more on-model and expressive and don't look as flat as I used to draw. If people don't like my art anymore that's fine. I like it, so really that's all that matters.

Anon Asked: EVAY I AM DISTRAUGHT, I've been perusing your blog looking at fanfics but I keep coming across some posts that I can't access anymore like ones by kbspeeding :( Do you know of any way to read them?

A: I know, it breaks my heart, too :( To my knowledge, there's no way to access the posts of anybody who has deactivated their accounts. I wish that wasn't the case because I sincerely miss her work, but I have to respect her and others' decisions to remove their content.

MISC SONIC ASKS

Anon Asked: What do u think of the amy rose ballerina hc? I think it’s so beautifully graceful and fits her so well💗🩰?

A: I'm not sure what specific headcanon you're referencing, but I definitely believe she knows ballet! Especially her idle animations in the Boom games. That girl knows how to dance.

Anon Asked: Do you like sonic unleashed or have you ever played it?

A: I never had the chance to play it, but I love the story and I love what I've seen. I am hoping they'll re-release it for the PS4 (or PS5) so I can finally play it!

Anon Asked: If you don’t mind me asking, what do you think of Barry the Quokka, the protagonist from The murder of sonic the hedgehog? If you don’t know anything about them what do you think of their design?

A: Of course I know the trash bin king! I like his design a lot. He's super cute and I love a nervous wreck of a character. I also loved that he was just this totally normal dude who has to spend an afternoon with the most insane group of friends ever.

Anon Asked: If you had to choose, what is your favorite and your least favorite sonic game?

A: I always have a hard time answering this because there are so many styles of games and I think some are better at certain aspects than others. For example, I think Frontiers had the best writing and actor perfomances. I still think Sonic Adventure 2 has the best gameplay and replay value. And Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is my favorite of the classics because I think it's the most visually perfect and the gameplay is a lot of fun. But if I have to choose, I guess I have to go with SA2 because I never get sick of it. My least favorite is Sonic Spinball haha I suck at it.

A: I kind of already do that with my comics :) I would love to make animations, but unfortunately I just don't have the time to do that kind of thing regularly.

Anon Asked: Do you think sonic does his taxes?

A: He has no income! But if he did make any money, I'm sure Tails would make him do it (and by that I mean, file his taxes for him because he's worried Sonic will do it wrong)

A: Sweet, sweet content! By the time I'm writing this I've already played some of it and I LOVE IT! UGH, Sonic Team has been so good to us in 2023! 😭💙

Anon Asked: Hey E-Vay! Big fan of your art. I was curious to know what’s going to happen with the Hell Hath No Fury comic? Will it be continued or left up to fan interpretation following the Shadow page?

A: Thank you so much! I will finish it. It won't be left up for interpretation. I just have to get to it.

Anon Asked: Is there a possibility that everyone I mean Sonic,Shadow,Amy,Tails, Aurora and so on have some mental illness? I now that Shadow does have PTSD at some point, but does anyone else have some specific mental illness? Btw love your art ✨

A: Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm not a professional so I don't feel right diagnosing anyone with anything, even if they are fictional characters. I personally suffer from anxiety and depression so I can speak to that, but I don't think I am the person to comment on anything else.

MY OCs/AU ASKS

Here are some fun questions I received from @pccyouthleader about Aurora that I wanted to share:

Q: What are Aurora’s primary and secondary love languages?

A: I had to take the Love Language quiz as Aurora. I got her primary as Quality Time. Physical Touch and Acts of Service were nearly tied for second.

Q: Does she like practical jokes? I remember you saying at one point that sometimes she acts without considering the reactions.

A: Yes! She loves a good prank, so long as it doesn’t hurt anybody. Sometimes she doesn’t realize that not everybody enjoys a practical joke though.

Q: Is Aurora competitive?

A: She is, because she feels like she’s got a lot to prove. But not to the point where she’s going to hurt a kids feelings just so she can say she won at something. She’s always going to let little ones win.

Q: Do she have a guilty pleasure?

A: She loves reading romance novels and sometimes she writes friend-fictions like Amy does in Sonic Boom or Tina in Bob’s Burgers hahaha

Q: What quality does she most value in Shadow?

A: She loves how he is unapologetically himself, if that makes sense. Despite what he was created for, he is his own man/hedgehog and he’s forged his own path. Even when others try to put him down or break him, he knows who he is and he doesn’t back down and she’s in awe of that.

Q: Pet peeves?

A: Closed-mindedness is the main thing. Whether that’s about something important like accepting somebody for who they are, or something small like not willing to try a type of food for the first time. She doesn’t understand how people can be like that and it irks her. She also hates when people agree to something and then they flake out haha

Q: If she were shopping, what type of store would she choose and what type of item?

A: One of those record stores that has a little bit of everything. You go there for music and movies and books and they always have fun, quirky gifts. Even though the world she lives in is futuristic, she can appreciate classic things and finds them fascinating. Otherwise yeah she’d love a thrift shop because there’s always strange stuff in there. Wherever she shops, she can’t leave any store without getting something silly that she found cute.

Q: What is her most and least favorite chore?

A: Her favorite chore is spring cleaning, where everybody rummages through everything and downsizes stuff. She likes it just because of the things she’ll find that she’s forgotten about or never knew was in the house. Her least favorite chore is laundry. It’s boring and it never ends!

Q: Outside of swimming and singing, what others hobbies does she have?

A: She loves to dance, that’s a big one. I’ve also joked in the past that she’d do really well if Shadow ever brought her to a gun range, so with that in mind she’d find things like laser tag and paintball super fun

Q: I remember you saying she hadn’t traveled a lot, so if Aurora could choose anywhere to visit, what place would she most like to see?

A: She’d love to go to outer space. She’d never been to space before meeting Shadow. But she also gets that it’s a “ridiculous” dream since she hasn’t even explored all of her own planet yet. Honestly she would be happy to travel anywhere, she wants to see the whole world and beyond. She wants to experience the most of life.

Q: What is her favorite fairy tale?

A: Thumbelina. She could see herself in that story a lot: a small lady who is loved but doesn't really fit in anywhere, and gets whisked around by others trying to control what she does with her life. In the end she's rewarded for her kindness and finally finds where she belongs.

A: I can't reveal that yet! 🥰 I want to keep it a surprise!

@mod-bubamon asked: I have a question about cc...maybe a few im sorry I'm kinda obsessing over how adorable she is tailsxcc for life We know cc can indeed feel,but can she feel pain? Does she know about the ai art and apps? How does she feel about them? I'm sure that in winter mobians fur coats grow thicker. So did cc somehow implement that into her body? Also how much more cuddly would she get when tails fur grows out? Sorry for all the questions out of nowhere, I've been a fan since I've started tumblr a while ago.

A: Please don't ever apologize for questions. I'm happy you're so interested! And especially glad you enjoy CC! When she was in her original "drone-like" form she couldn't feel pain but she could feel fear. When she builds her Mobian body, she engineers it so she does have all kinds of feeling-receptors, including pain. Not that pain is enjoyable to her, but it's important for her to be able to have as much of the Mobian-experience as possible. I wasn't expecting AI Art to pop off the way it has so I never thought to include it in my work. CC is beyond the AI form now though, she's a full on person. Just like Sage became a full person, beyond just her programming. So I think she and Sage have the ability to create their own forms of art from their own minds. I think I've address something similar in the past: CC has the ability to just play music from her body like a speaker, but she preferred to learn how to play an instrument because she wanted to experience the art form properly. CC didn't think to include a winter coat for her Mobian body, but upon snuggling with Tails she'd definitely add that to her list of future modifications! He's the fluffiest of them all in the winter so he'd be so snuggly and warm and lovely. Thank you for following me!

A: She likes that she's finally tall, but other than that she doesn't like how she looks. She's very self-conscious about her werehog form. But she loves how Shadow and Sonic look as werehogs.

@jhyannarqq768 asked: How would you think if Aurora was the project while shadow was a mortal one? And i just wanted to ask how would you think if there's a another universe that Aurora it's he imortal and shadow it's the mortal?

A: Well, if she was the project she wouldn't be Aurora. She is the creation of Sonic and Amy so without them she wouldn't exist :) As far as her being immortal and Shadow being mortal: If Shadow was engineered in the 50s and he wasn't made immortal then they never would have met. He would have passed away long before she ever came around.

Anon Asked: How good of a fighter is Rory?

A: She is average as far as physical combat. She's better at diversions and dodging, using an opponents' energy against them. If she was playable in a game, I imagine she'd have a lot of QTE actions that allow her to dodge a boss and make them tire themselves out before she uses her light powers to damage them. While she attended the Young Heroes program she learned combat, but Sonic never wants her in harms' way so he instructed her to always try to distance herself from enemies so she can use her long-range light powers. But she won't back down from a fight if it means she can protect someone else.

A: All the kids can go super except for the third litter (Cinder, Diamond and Boon). Those three aren't able to use chaos emeralds at all. The family does not know why.

A: I always make fan kids for everything I'm obsessed with. If you knew me from my Naruto days, I had a huge world of Naruto kids. So naturally I wanted to give my favorite couple of all time (Sonic and Amy) a kid! As far as the name, Aurora is my favorite name in the world. Ever since I saw Sleeping Beauty as a child, I've loved that name. So I gave my favorite name to the child of my favorite couple. Also I think it suits her personality: Colorful, cheerful, hopeful.

A: She only speaks English.

@aurorathehedge6 asked: How old is Ruff and T-Bone since Aurora is now an adult and have kids?

A: Ruff is 8 years younger than Aurora and Tumble is 12 years younger than Aurora. For most of my comics where Aurora is not yet married, she is 20 years old.

@animeartbros asked: Do Aurora Piper and Blitz hang out much?

A: Piper and Blitz are constantly bickering so a girls' day out tends to involve a lot of yelling and picking on each other haha. It involves a lot of Aurora going "Girls, remember, your sister is your best friend for life. You don't know how lucky you are to have siblings! TT_TT Please stop fighting."

Anon Asked: Has shadow ever taught any or all of his kids how to use a gun and if so how did Aurora feel about it? | And another Anon asked: If Shadow tells his children where babies come from, I am sure that he taught them how to 'defend yourself' with a gun at a very young age ... or at least tried haha I see sometimes short comics in which Shadow tries to teach Cream how to use a gun and I can imagine that this mf would totally try to do the same with his children. Would Shadow succeed if he tried this or would Aurora stop him?

A: Gun-wielding is a part of Shadow's identity so I'd never take that aspect away from him. And Aurora actually enjoys shooting too (targets, not people!) so she doesn't feel weird about that topic. However, I believe that they are huge proponents for RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP so they keep all their weapons securely locked up and unloaded at ALL TIMES. And Shadow wouldn't teach the kids how to shoot until they're MUCH older and responsible enough to handle such a dangerous weapon. But you'd better believe he trained them well in marksmanship via laser tag and paintball as kids!

Anon Asked: Hi! I noticed that in your Aurora-comics Sonic grows a mustache as he gets older - what made him come to that decision? And what does Amy think about it???? What about kissing Sonic with a 'stache? I, personally, think he kind of resembles Eggman so, I'm not that big of a fan but that doesn't matter! I'm more interested on their POV. I still love the way you draw them, btw. And it's really sweet to see them together through the passage of time 🥰

A: Hi and thank you so much! Honestly, the reason I gave him a mustache was just to make him appear older haha. I tried multiple ways to age him up but the mustache was the most effective. Originally, I wanted to give him something more distinguished but I ran into two problems: 1 - I didn't want people mistaking him for Uncle Chuck. 2 - I don't see Sonic taking the time to properly sculpt a mustache/beard, so I gave him something rough and simple haha. I have drawn him deciding to grow it out and Amy's reaction to it :) Amy loved it, then didn't like it, then went back to loving it because now she gets the most ticklish, delicious kisses! 🥰 The good thing about hair/fur is that it's not permanent! You can always change it :)

Anon Asked: Omg ur feeding us so WELL with the content I honestly can’t picture actual sonic canon anymore without Aurora like she is completely canon in my mind I love her so much!! Also I have a kinda weird question, if Aurora saw a gay or lesbian couple out in public as a little kid and she was curious about it, how would sonic or amy explain it to her?

A: Aw, thank you! Well the Sonic franchise has been feeding ME well this year so I have the energy to nourish you all hahaha. I'm so happy you accept Aurora 🥰 I like to think that Sonic and Amy are very accepting and loving people and would raise their children to believe that too. Also, Aurora is VERY used to seeing public displays of affection from her parents, so if she saw two people kissing or holding hands in public, no matter their gender, she'd be bouncing up and down "OOH ARE THEY IN LOVE?! ARE THEY IN LOVE??" and Sonic and Amy would be like "That's right, Tiny!"

Anon Asked: What have been going on in Aurora's mind when she was a baby?

A: I'm not sure babies think about much 😉 Just general thoughts of "Mom, Dad, Food, Joy, Sleepy" But hey I could be wrong!

Anon Asked: Out of curiosity, I know that you ship Shadow + Aurora together (and I’m okay with that)… But what if the Time-Travel Adventure never happened?… What if Shadow never went on a Big-Space Adventure and stayed with the Others?… What if he was there to watch Aurora grow up, with the Others?… What would their relationship be like, if that happened?… Would Shadow become like Aurora’s Uncle or be like a Teacher/Mentor to her, in the ways of combat?… Or would they somehow still have a romantic relationship, instead of platonic? 😇?

A: Even if Shadow never left, I don't imagine he'd spend much time with Aurora as a child. He and Sonic are not friends, and though I'm sure he'd consider Amy a friend, I don't think they're close enough for him to want to be actively involved in their kid's life. I don't think he'd even be actively involved in Ruff and Tumble's lives if he was on-world the whole time. It'd be more of a "Oh... hey kids... just here to see your mom... goodbye..." He'd likely be more of an idol to Aurora and she wouldn't mean anything to him. That being said, I do believe in soulmates, and again Shadow is immortal so he does not age. So I believe that once she's grown up, that's when he starts to really see her for who she is and that attraction would come later in life, but that would not happen while she was a child obviously.

Anon Asked: What was the scariest movie that Aurora ever saw and how exactly did it end?

A: Aurora does not like scary movies so she avoids them haha. Sometimes she'll agree to watch a classic horror movie with Shadow because he likes that kind of thing but she still finds it terrifying haha. Aurora can sort of handle movies like Wolfman or Dracula but not anything more intense than that. She couldn't sleep for days after "Night of the Living Dead (1968)"

Anon Asked: i appreciate the effort you went thru compiling all those asks. felt like a free readers digest that was nice to read through! …and now here are more questions 😈 1- how does grandpa sonic feel about shadow’s shadoralets? i wonder if he jokingly calls em faker and lil fakers sometimes haha. 2- whats it like having amassed long time followers of your art stuff? (ive been around since the ol 2009 days)?

A: I'm so happy you enjoyed my last set of asks, Anon. I hope you return and see your question here! Grandpa!Sonic is wayyyy more accepting of his son-in-law at this point and doesn't hold (much) ill-will towards him. However he does revel in the fact that Shadow doesn't know a moment of peace now that he's got a million children haha! But he loves his grandkids to death and so does Grandma!Amy. I did an old comic (having a hard time finding it right now) where Sonic has a dream about his future grandkids and when he wakes up he calls them "Tiny Fakers" but he would never actually call his grandkids that. They're his family! I appreciate that compliment and I can't believe you've been following me for so long! I'm honored (and blown away haha!). Honestly though I don't really think about the concept of having "followers" all that much. I just look at it as I'm here having fun drawing silly things and I've been lucky enough to have other people come and enjoy it with me. I'm very thankful for the support, especially to those who have tagged along for as long as I've been online.

A: I like it enough, but I don't actively seek it out. I'm mostly indifferent to Blaze and to Silver as characters so I'm not that invested. But I do think they're cute.

Anon Asked: Sonadow yes or no?

A: Yes! I like them having a bickering, sassy relationship where they still annoy each other but they actually really care about each other.

Anon Asked: How do you feel about Sonic x selly? Would you ever draw them? Maybe for a time travel thing or a space rip or something??

A: I believe you're asking about Sally Acorn. If so, no I do not ship it and I won't draw it. If you're referring to another character, then I'm sorry but I don't know who that is.

Anon Asked: What do u think of amy being sapphic in any shape or form?

A: That's hard to say, since we've only ever seen Amy have eyes for Sonic. I'm not against it, though.

Anon Asked: In your universe, have Sonic and Amy had any suuuper big fight in the marriage? If so, what would it be like for them and how do you think it’d “affect” their relationship??

A: I mostly avoid heavy topics and fights because we get enough of that in other media and I like most of my art to be a safe place people can go to to just get a good boost of feel-good serotonin! So for my main storyline, they get into little arguments and bicker over small things because all couples do, but I try not to ever put them in a giant blow-out fight that will alter their relationship. That being said, the biggest disagreement I ever have them going through is in Aurora's Time Travel adventure (which still hasn't been published yet, sorry!). Sonic adamantly believes Aurora should not risk her life and time travel in that story and Amy disagrees. This will put tension between them for awhile, but ultimately they will be okay.

Robin never expected to be friends with Nancy Wheeler. Somebody who she viewed as being prissy, uppity, overall out of her league. She thought that Nancy didn’t have much depth to her outside of: pretty girl with a smart mouth and all the boyfriends she could ask for. But, then again, she thinks that most people thought of Nancy that way.

After trauma, though, you reconsider the people in your circle. You identify who your allies are. And you miff the ones that don’t serve you any purpose. Like, Robin became best friends with Steve—he had depth, almost surprisingly. He wasn’t a shallow douchebag. Maybe sloppy when he eats, a little bit of a snarky bitch, and gossiper to a fault. But that didn’t make him a bad person, not by any means.

So, sure, Robin reconsidered the people around her.

And Nancy Wheeler has become one of those people.

She’s intelligent and beautiful, but Robin already knew that. Her fortitude is stable and at the forefront of her being at all times. If Robin’s being honest, considering her biases, she liked to hate Nancy because it was easy—not because it was necessary or anything. Hated Nancy for taking her best friend, Barbara Holland. Hated Nancy for always being right and overshadowing her line of thinking, even her thought process was wrong. Hated Nancy for just being perfect.

Perfect Nancy Wheeler and her pretty little outfits and her small smile and her shining eyes and—Okay, maybe Robin doesn’t hate Nancy Wheeler for being perfect. She should admit that now before she gets ahead of herself. Robin doesn’t hate her at all.

She’s honest enough now to admit that she’s been falling in love with Nancy. A little at a time. With everything she does.

Sure, it was hot when Nancy cocked that shotgun and blew Vecna’s head off his body. And it was supremely attractive to see her sketch out plans and actually bring them to life. It’s wonderful to even hear Nancy talk. She’s just got this brain about her that Robin can’t possibly wrap her head around.

It’s easy to hang out with Nancy. To be sitting in her bedroom, looking at her pink and white and lacey little things. To feel her eyes on her back. To turn around and find her smiling.

“So I take it that you like my room?” Nancy asks.

“I love it in here! Are you kidding me?” Robin twirls around in the space, picking up the little music box on her shelf. “There’s a ballerina in here! Oh, Nance, please tell me you did ballet as a kid! That would be adorable.” By the way Nancy tries to act coy, Robin suspects she figured part of Nancy out. The music box is placed back down and Robin goes back to rummaging throughout her space.

That’s when, while she’s attempting to grab something from by Nancy’s closet, a little black case clatters to the floor. It catches Robin’s attention immediately, swooping it up between her hands. A black case, hard shell, little handle. She gasps knowingly.

“Nancy Wheeler, a flautist?” Robin teases. “A band kid? Who knew.”

Nancy’s shy when Robin glances at her again. She tucks some of her hair, loosely permed, behind her ear. Bites her bottom lip. “I don’t play anymore, but it was fun the first couple years of high school. In middle school, too.” Her face drops, though at the admittance. She sighs. Whispering, “Used to do it with Barb. Stopped after—Well, you know.” Her eyes are mournful, understandably. Going far and glistening. Yearning, longing for a past that would never sprout a future.

Robin hums. “I remember,” she murmurs, voice going raspy with it. “Used to be a clarinet player, right? Her section was next to yours, I’m assuming. That’s where the wind players were. I used to sit behind her in the back of the band, my trumpet too heavy for my hands.” She chuckles, a remorseful sigh escaping her. “She was good at it, wasn’t she?” She crosses the room and settles on Nancy’s bed, sitting warm next to her. The case still in her hands.

“Yeah,” Nancy sighs. A little wet. “She was pretty spectacular.”

She hates the spike of jealousy that stabs sharp through her stomach at Nancy’s praise. Barb should’ve been her best friend, she should be mourning her like flowers miss the rain in winter. But, Barb leaving their friendship wasn’t Robin’s choice to make. And Nancy, well, she didn’t know—Did she?

“She was,” Robin agrees. Her voice sounds so brittle to her own ears. “You—God, you must’ve cared a lot about her, huh?”

Stupid question, she chides. Because there’s been polaroids tucked away in drawers. Old costume pieces that Robin remembers Barb wearing during school plays. Little trinkets that Nancy had whispered, “From Barbara”, every single time Robin picked one up.

At the core of it all, they’re just two girls missing the bridge that connected them.

Nancy doesn’t answer. And Robin doesn’t prod for one. It’s always hard to admit something like that aloud, especially for somebody you miss. Even if it’s been years since they left.

“Can I trust you with something?” She abruptly asks. Nancy just hums. Robin swallows roughly. “When I was a kid and I used to hang out with Barb all the time, I used to feel super funny. Like—and I know what it is now—but a weird flip-flop fluttering in my stomach.” Her fingers trace the textured case of the flute. The rough ridges and bumps under her fingertips. “I had dreams every night about doing her hair. About painting her nails.” She clears her throat, a bubble of emotion caught. Admits, “Kissing her knuckles, her cheeks. But not—Never in the way a friend would.”

Beside her, Nancy sharply inhales. Robin tenses momentarily.

With as much courage as she can, Robin continues. “It was scary, sometimes, to be around her. Afraid of what sort of impulse I’d act upon. And I knew, too, that it wasn’t a good thing to try. So I never did,” she whispers. “I never let myself have that with her. But I cared about Barb. I cared about her so much, I think about her and it’s painful.”

“I know,” Nancy murmurs. “Makes my chest ache thinking about…God, I’m just glad you haven’t seen the way she—I’m sorry you didn’t get to mourn her like I did.”

“Nance—“

“No, Robin. I am sorry. I’m so—I understand what you mean.” Nancy’s left hand reaches out, scooping up Robin’s right. Her nimble fingers, petite on Robin’s palm, squeeze with the might of an entire army. “Continue, it’s okay.”

Robin sighs. “I didn’t realize what it meant until she was already gone. But I’m a lesbian, Nancy. I—Barb was the first girl I ever considered anything with. She was my partner in crime, my best friend, the love of my life. Even if I never understood the severity of that.” She squeezes back at Nancy’s hand. The flute gets set down on the floor. Admitting, heavier and quieter, “To be honest, Nancy, I was so jealous of you. I was so angry at you for so long. For being a normal friend to her. For letting her fit in. For taking her from me. But I—“ And Robin weeps softly. Nancy’s comfort grows, steadfast and more intense. “—Nancy, I can’t be mad at you. I don’t think I can. That’s not fair. You—“

“Birdie,” Nancy murmurs. “You don’t have to explain yourself to me.” She raises her free hand to wipe gently at Robin’s cheek, the other hand joining in, too. Her palms are cold on Robin’s cheeks, squishing slightly, yet holding her so soothingly. “It’s okay that you’re mad at me. I was mad at myself for a very long time.” She sighs. “Can I tell you something, too?” She questions softly.

Robin nods. “Yeah, Nance, you can tell me anything.”

“I like girls, too,” she whispers. Her own voice is hoarse and broken. “You know what’s funny about it though?” And she chuckles wryly. “Barb was what opened my eyes. Which only made the ache worse, but at least she helped me know? Does that—I don’t know if that makes sense.”

“Doesn’t have to,” Robin whispers back.

Nancy gives her a curt nod. “You remind me of Barb sometimes,” she confesses. “The whole band thing and your theater background. And you’re so spitfire about the world. A prestigious movie taste, honestly.” And she giggles again. Squishing Robin’s cheeks further between her palms. “It’s really fucked up, but I look at you and kind of—I fall in love easier. That’s probably weird. To hear yourself compared to a dead person.” She grimaces. “But I don’t know how else to explain it. You make me feel the way I did about Barbara. And if anything happens to you, I don’t think I’ll survive it.”

“Is it weird if I say the same thing?” Robin asks, laughing herself. “That you fill the hole in my soul that’s Barb shaped. I can’t be mad at you because I find myself entirely enamored. You’re so—“ She groans. “Intelligent and courageous and wonderful. You’re beautiful and quick and amazing and good and every positive word under the sun.

“You help my world glow brighter,” Robin murmurs. “I think if everybody got to talk to you just once, the entire world would be better for it.” She leans in to Nancy’s space. Her hands coming up to cover both of Nancy’s. She closes her eyes at the sensation. Their skin touching. Their breaths mingling. “You should write something about that.”

“What? Write something about me being a good person or whatever?”

“Yes, exactly. And—I could give my eye witness account. And we’ll share how Barb helped the both of us. And—“ Robin shrugs. “I don’t know where I’m going with this.”

Opening her eyes shows Nancy’s smiling face. Soft. Lovely. “Do you think Barb would be mad at us if I kiss you right now? It’s weird timing, I know, but—“

Robin silences her. Pecking her smooth lips. The sound a small smack, a barely there pop. She pulls away slowly. “Weird is okay. Have you met me?” She kisses her again, this time a little deeper. When she pulls back again, she chuckles. “Will you tell me more about her some time?”

“You’d want that?”

“If I’m falling in love with her best friend, then of course. I want to know everything about you two. And I can tell you about when Barb and I were kids, if that’s okay.”

“Yeah,” Nancy whispers, elated. “Okay.”

Robin finds loving Nancy to be the easiest thing in the world. And it may be odd, the way Barb’s life mingles between them. But, at the end of the day, their love spread between them, the stories they have to tell, the feelings that spring loose on certain days—

All of it makes understanding one another a little better.

“Before we share stories though,” Robin starts, leaving space between them. She reaches down for the case on the floor. “Show me the flute skills, sweetheart.”

“I haven’t played in years, Robbie!”

“Who cares?! My possible girlfriend was a band kid! I’m a band kid! This is the hottest thing in the world!” She crows. “Please! Please, please, please, plea—“

“Okay Birdie! Alright! I’ll play it for you. One one condition,” Nancy hedges.

“Anything,” Robin swears.

“You play the trumpet for me. And we start a tribute band. And we prank Steve.”

“Prank Steve?”

Nancy nods. Solemnly. “Yeah,” she sighs. “He borrowed my favorite pen for when I get my stories for the newspaper. I haven’t seen it in weeks. I say that we get up at the crack of dawn, break into his house, and we play our instruments at top volume.”

“Is this flirting?” Robin asks. “Because you know the ways of my heart. Yes, absolutely we’ll fuck with Steve. You have to get your pen back.”

“Great,” Nancy murmurs, leaning back in again. She kisses Robin with fervor. “Now show me what trumpet tonguing means, baby.”

Yeah, Robin thinks loving Nancy is a lot easier than hating her.

*cracks knuckles* all of them, huh? a tall order but i'm up for it! "makeup" is a separate category but i think it's relevant for face descriptions so i'll pepper it in

face: Describe your OC's face. What's their smile like? Are their orbs cerulean? What would someone notice first when looking at them?

ballerina girl - i imagine her with a wide, flat-ish face. probably low cheekbones? slightly freckled. the only makeup she wears is the "neutral" kind, concealer and foundation and blush and whatnot. maybe a gentle lipgloss. she has big beautiful dark eyes, but they're downturned a bit giving her a slightly gloomy expresion - maybe offputting in day to day life, but giving her a sublimely romantic air when performing... she doesn't smile much in public but her smile is very gentle, almost shy.

cigarette girl - she has an unhealthy, grayish complexion from not really taking care of herself, fairly pimply as well. very thin eyebrows, thin lips and face. lip fuzz. long, pointy (maybe a bit hooked?) nose. her eyes are always half-closed and she has a general air of apathy about her. i don't know that i've ever drawn her smiling lmao... the has that sloppy, day-old kind of makeup, heavy eyeshadow and dark lipstick, no foundation or anything.

witch girl - her hair is all over her eyes haha, don't know how feasible that would be irl but i think it's a fun design choice in cartoons. she's almost always smiling, to the point where it's a little unsettling. slightly bigger lower lip. double chin. one mole by her lips and another below her eye, just barely visible from under the fringe. very pale with a pinkish blush. her style is very cutesy and as far as makeup goes i could see her adding pink blush and stuff like stickers, drawn on shapes, glitter...

jock girl - very expressive, especially with her body posture/movement but also with her hands and face. puts on a slightly blase air but is passionate and easily annoyed. round face, accentuated by the short bangs. slight case of babyface, big black eyes with short lashes... you know what, she's not korean but the main girl character from squid game came to mind as someone with a similar face? though maybe it's less about the actual features and more about the vibe. anyway, she's usually got a furrowed brow, even when laughing! she's got a big, loud, slightly cackling laugh. maybe slightly crooked teeth... and not infrequently a bruise or bandaid somewhere on there.

ok motion should be a bit easier! i really like this one, i often think about how characters move

motion: How does your OC move? How does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? Are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?

class prez girl - VERY controlled. elegant and fluid - this is probably why her parents sent her to ballet classes in the first place, or how she convinced them to let her try. she had a sudden growth spurt in maybe her early teens and that left her with a lingering feeling of awkwardness about her height, but the ballet training was enough to get her out of her slouching habit anf give her perfect posture.

girlrot girl - slow, pleghmatic movement. if she sits down in a chair, she doesn't do anything to ease the fall and just slumps into it with all her momentum. slouches a lot, and if she's in one spot for a while she has a tendency to get lower and lower until she's sprawled on the ground.

bunny girl - very still a lot of the time! doesn't fidget much. when she does move it's with a slight bounce to her step. tends to keep her limbs close to her body, but not really in an awkward way

sk8r girl - rarely sits still. even if she's sitting in one spot for a while, she'll switch positions often. jerky and energetic movements and exaggerated poses

whew this was so fun!! i like having to write about these things instead of drawing them, it forces you to think through it and find very specific descriptors haha!

Total score : 24/30

Nakamura Kazuha is the epitome of Asian beauty. Her simple yet sharp features gives her a tremendous amount of charisma even without any exaggerated facial expression. Combined that with her amazing posture and body proportion, it is fair to say that she was born to become a model.

1. Face

For me, the best way to describe Kazuha’s facial appearance are sharp and clean. Everything from the shape of her face, her eyes, her mouth— it feels so simple yet very charismatic at the same time.

Interestingly enough, her face when she smile and her face when it is expressionless somehow makes her seem like a two different person. For example, in most brand photoshoots that she did, she tends to just stare directly at the camera without any defined expression, which gives off this charismatic and attention-commanding look without she even trying. But as soon as she break into smiles, she somehow morphed into this image of a sweet and pure young lady that is filled with youthness.

That being said, I think she has the perfect face for an Asian model in a high-fashion industry— plain beauty, sophisticated aura, cool demeanor; it just tick all the boxes.

2. Body

As previously mentioned, Kazuha’s ideal body proportion suits her perfectly to become a supermodel. Good height, nice lower to upper body ratio, great posture and skinny body type— what’s there not to like?

But in the context of sexual appeal, she does have a pretty flat chest, which is a pretty significant minus in her overall attractiveness scale.

Thankfully, she does have a pretty nice buttocks to cover for that, which is probably developed from her years of training in ballerina, giving it that plump and curvy looks. Although in her case, I’m pretty sure that despite the size and appearance of it, her ass would be more on the firm side instead of soft and jiggly, assuming it is mainly consists of muscle tissue rather than fat.

But as a man of culture, any type of ass is still ass, and given the shape of it, I would definitely be looking twice if she was to walk pass me.

3. Personality

Kazuha is known to have a 4D personality, which basically means versatile and unpredictable depending on situations. And of course, having this kind of personality adds a significant point to her attractiveness.

On the outside, she seems like a shy and calm person, yet in the inside, she is actually very easygoing and full of jokes. She enjoy making people laugh and doesn’t mind to turn herself into the bud of a joke.

In other words, despite her prettiness and elegant image, she often not bothered to take herself too seriously, which makes her even more attractive than she already is.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I personally think Kazuha is the gold standard of a stunning Asian woman. Her plain beauty is just very refreshing to look at, and her charismatic aura makes it very hard for you to not acknowledging her beautiful presence.

In terms of sexual appeal, her lower side provides a good coverage for what she lacking on the upper side. Her small set of tits when paired up with her plump-shaped buttocks is a pretty good combo in my opinion, and I’m pretty sure most men would agree with me on that take too. Also, it is worth mentioning that the small tits fat ass combo is pretty rare among Asian women, so there is even more reason to appreciate her.

Lastly, her duality in character makes her a very fun partner to have, may it be romantically or just a normal friendship. For me, personally, I don’t see her as a strong wifey material, but more like a first love or a secret crush kind of vibe as she is still very youthful with an unpredictable sides of personality.

Yu Gi Oh Shugo Chara Crossover. Who gets a Gaurdian Character. Who is the best … Uh, card player? Card person? … All I know about Yu Gi Oh is that the Dark Magician Girl card had a cute design.

I mean when you think about it, wouldn't Atem be Yugi's guardian character? Albeit a murderous one to start with, and even after character development--(/yeeted)

Seriously, though! Anzu would definitely have a ballerina, somewhat girly guardian character, given her dream to be a dancer and how the show portrays her as a somewhat of a 'tomboy' (by 2000s standards, anyways). I feel like her chara's name would be Yoko with the kanji: 謡子

Shizuka, who's portrayed as a meek, sweet girl would definitely have a 'punk'-ish, rebellious guardian character. Why? Because as quiet and as shy as Shizuka is made out to be, there's at least two instances in the anime where someone tells her not to do the Thing and she straight up does the Thing right in front of them! Granted, it ended badly in one particular case, but Shizuka is a lot more rebellious than you'd initially think for a formerly blind girl. (Or maybe she's rebellious because of being a formerly blind girl! That's my interpretation.) But I digress, Shizuka's guardian character would be called Eiko with the kanji: 江威子

As for Shugo Chara characters that would be good duelists? Ikuto and Kukai, hands down. They'd both run powerful decks, but Ikuto would particularly focus on handtraps and causing his opponents to brick constantly, while Kukai would be more of a brute force player, dive right in and hit you as hard and as fast as possible.

Yaya, I think, would also be a wildcard. I feel as though she'd pull off a Meffly or Marincess deck with devastating results if she had the inclination for it! Utau would run a Trickstar deck, but I'm not so sure she'd take the game seriously unless she had to, i.e. a life or death situation. (So, par for the course in YGO, whoops)

5’ tall. Petite is an understatement. Slim waist, slight musculature, flat chest, with long legs, at least in proportion to her body! She is, in many ways, the picture of a stereotypical ballerina, waifish despite her age, long golden blonde hair tied back into a bun, an expression of unease and strength yet wariness across her features.

Female as far she’s concerned to look into any aspect of her gender. Though it nags at the back of her mind like an unclipped clothes tag, it’s neither her interest nor her concern, and she’ll let sleeping dogs lay in this case.

Inquisitive and inspective by very nature, she’s fallen victim to the title of ‘old soul’ throughout her life thanks to the sheer level of analytics she views the world around her through. Like a critic at an art gallery, her head is often cocked and her brow quirked in questions, even when they’re beyond her. She’ll ask, but if she can’t find an answer in others, she’ll take it for herself.

A real go-getter in that respect. She has dreams she wants to achieve, a grand design she strives towards and she’s not afraid to do what it takes to make that happen and think fast on her feet when it falls apart. When dreams of a housewife fantasy with children and a picket fence came to crash. She took the pieces and formed anew. New career, new discipline, new study, new aspiration. And not for the worst.

VERY interested in the function of life, not so much in birth and creation as much as all the tiny gears that churn to allow it’s creation. From the smallest bug, so beautiful and vital in an ecosystem, to the illnesses that bring men down and humanity: what separates it from the rest of the animal kingdom and what makes us *human*. Some would call it analytical and maybe a bit detached, but it is magical to her. A thing to be admired and revered and studied to a fault!

Though she would be lying if she said she was satisfied in only the role of a caretaker. It scratches an itch but not nearly enough— she wants to care but to explore is a must, to innovate is a must. To balance both worlds is an endeavour she won’t shy away from when the opportunity presents itself.

Very hands off, as in *hands off*, in terms of her needs in a relationship. Neither clingy nor suffocatingly affectionate. She prefers to take a relationship as a union of two lives on one path rather than the forced mashing of them both. Independence together. During the day lives can be separate, nights aren’t forced shackled by one another and the never ending sea of ‘I love you’s can be checked at the door. It’s the mundane certainty of it, the domestic bliss, the ability to be apart and come together so perfectly that she desires!

Рональд Ховард оказался самым настоящим сокровищем - он куда страннее и чуднее книжного Холмса, больше всего напоминает Холмса из “Этюда в багровых тонах”, то есть он живой, улыбчивый, подвижный и молодой. Его Уотсон, который отнюдь не толстяк, а эдакий коренастый крепыш, хоть и отвечает за комедийную часть их дуэта (впрочем, Холмс в комедии ему не уступает), не является непроходимым тупицей и может, при случае, засветить кулаком неприятелю в морду. Большая часть эпизодов сняты по самостоятельным сценариям, но в тех десяти эпизодах, что я успел посмотреть, было снято их практически канонное знакомство в лаборатории (но само дело не было “Этюдом”), а еще здесь была немножко вольная экранизация моей любимой “Долины страха”. Сами эпизоды идут по 26 минут и за это время Холмс успевает не только раскрыть дело, но и подурачиться с Уотсоном. Господи, какие же тут прекрасные домашние сценки на Бейкер-стрит, смешные диалоги и сценки, а эти их вечные пикировки с Уотсоном! Вообще у этого сериала общая атмосфера очень... эм, придется прибегнуть к английским словам... lighthearted и whimsical. Они не скатываются в чистую комедию и это уж точно не пародия, а в первую очередь все же детектив. В первом эпизоде The Case of the Cunningham Heritage, в котором произошло знакомство Холмса и Уотсона и их приезд на Бейкер-стрит, они вовсе не расследовали убийство Дреббера - хотя убийство было, и главной подозреваемой была одна леди. Инспектор Лестрейд - непривычно крупный, усатый и лысый мужчина - тут тоже присутствует, как один из главных и постоянных героев сериала. Уотсон, узнав потом, что все лавры достались именно Лестрейду, пошел с газетой ему чуть ли не морду бить за Холмса. Во втором эпизоде The Case of Lady Beryl делом как ни странно в основном занимаются Уотсон с Лестрейдом, потому что Холмс слишком увлечен химическим опытом и Лестрейду с Уотсоном пришлось Холмса одевать в четыре руки и тащить за собой. Третий эпизод The Case of the Pennsylvania Gun был, как можно догадаться по названию, той самой экранизацией “Долины страха”. Здесь Холмс одержим рыбалкой и везде ходит с удочками и даже тот самый узелок с гантелей вылавливает именно своей удочкой. Помимо этого констебль замечает, как Холмс (пусть и за кадром) катается по п��рилам дома убитого - между прочим, это было важно для раскрытия дела, а не просто так, ради развлечения! Четвертый эпизод The Case of the Texas Cowgirl был крайне странным и комедийным - на Бейкер-стрит заявилась типичная ковбойша с сильным американским акцентом, у которой в номере гостинницы обнаружился труп и Холмс чуть ли не под дулом револьвера должен был ей помочь в этой ситуации. В пятом эпизоде The Case of the Belligerent Ghost" Уотсон заявился домой с фингалом под глазом и утверждением, что его ударил самый настоящий призрак. Разумеется, Холмс не может не взяться за это дело (и мимоходом не сыграть над Уотсоном беззлобную шутку). Впрочем, дело оказалось гораздо серьезнее. В шестом эпизоде The Case of the Shy Ballerina в результате забавной путаницы шляпа Уотсона оказалась на найденном трупе, что сделало Уотсона первым подозревамым, и Холмс подтрунивал, мол, Лестрейд, следите за Уотсоном, как бы он через окно не сбежал. В седьмом эпизоде The Case of the Winthrop Legend с трудом можно опознать “Пять апельсиновых зернышек”, только здесь будущие жертвы помечаются серебряными монетами и это часть семейной легенды. Поэтому Холмсу с Уотсоном пришлось ехать в фамильный замок, где Холмс после отбоя чуть случайно не пристрелил Уотсона из арбалета, а потом после совершенного убийства (не им и не Уотсона) ползал по ступенькам. Восьмой эпизод The Case of the Blind Man's Bluff отличился тем, что Холмс впервые предстал в маскировке - в том числе и для того, чтобы разыграть бедного Уотсона, который даже велел вошедшему Лестрейду арестовать этого человека - а потом сообщил Холмсу, что это уже чересчур и он отправляется искать себе новую квартиру... Хотя, разумеется, сам эпизод был не про это и весь его сюжет, в общем-то, кроется в спойлерном названии. Девятый эпизод The Case of Harry Crocker был абсолютно прекрасен - и, как ни странно, не из-за Холмса с Уотсоном (хотя они, как обычно, были хороши), а из-за крайне экспрессивного Гарри Крокера, фокусника и мастера побега, которого обвинили в убийстве и который вечно сбегал от полиции (и мастерству которого страшно завидовал восхитившийся Холмс!). Ну и десятый эпизод, последний который я на данный момент смотрел, The Mother Hubbard Case был про потерявшуюся маленькую девочку... только она отнюдь не была жертвой. Здесь Холмс неоднократно использовал свои навыки взломщика - к ужасу Уотсона. “Вы что, взломали дверь в его кабинет?!” “Ш-ш-ш, вы хотите, чтобы нас арестовали?” “Нас?!” Впрочем, тут был и еще один забавный момент, когда Холмс не был уверен - положил ли он в заварочный чайник, собственно, чай или все же змеиный яд?.. (Потому что они у него в одних и тех же склянках, а чай он вечно заваривает на своем химическом столике!). Какое же это счастье, когда на тебя нежданно-негаданно сваливается шикарный Шерлок Холмс! Может, он и не так сильно близок к книжному образу Холмса и является более вольной трактовкой, мне он куда ближе многих признанных и любимыми всеми Холмсов, включая Рэтбоуна, Ливанова и Камбербетча. Даже жаль, что имя Рональда Ховарда не так на устах, как имена других исполнителей роли Холмса... И как же хорошо знать, что впереди у меня еще немало эпизодов с этой парочкой! Как там говорил в одном из эпизодов мальчишка-посыльный, понаблюдавший немного за ними в гостиной? “Вы чокнутые как мартовские зайцы! Вы оба!” И это правда.

#9 The Ghost at Dawn’s House: Chapter 4

We meet the perfect Perkins family!

Notebook entry from Mary Anne. She's still a little mad that Kristy isn't next door anymore and she isn't able to look in Kristy's room but the Perkinses are so perfect they're able to change her attitude! Dawn understands that Mary Anne feels weird going there, ringing the doorbell instead of barging right in.

After ringing the bell, the door opens, and two “blonde-haired, brown-eyed” perfect angels greet her, Myriah and Gabbie. Mrs. Perkins (who I'm assuming is named Beth?) is behind them, struggling to control Chewy. Please, all Myriah has to do is look at Chewy and he'll lie down and behave.

I guess being in the presence of two beings of perfection has an impact on Chewy, because he jumps up on the door to greet Mary Anne too. He also knocks over Gabbie (in her baldet shoes), but don't worry; a single white rose grows out of the ground from the spot where Gabbie fell. Mrs. Perkins leaves and says she has no special instructions. Hell, Myriah could probably babysit but she'd rather hire a babysitter in case word got out she was leaving two little kids home alone.

Mary Anne, being the shy one, doesn't know how to break the ice. Never fear, Myriah does! She takes Mary Anne to see her room and Mary Anne is sad to see it's Kristy's old one. Dollhouse instead of a desk, pictures of ballerinas and animals instead of sports posters, Barbies instead of the torture equipment Kristy uses on members when they defy her. Yeah, Mary Anne asks Myriah to show her around elsewhere before she starts sobbing. I wonder who's the unlucky one who got David Michael's closet-bedroom.

They go downstairs and are greeted with Gabbie and her Cabbage Patch doll and the family's cat RC (Rat Catcher). Do we ever hear of this cat again or does it join Sarge in Stoneybrook's Land of Long-Forgotten Cats? As the girls color with Mary Anne, they sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame and Hush Little Baby flawlessly. Mary Anne raises her eyebrows in surprise since she doesn't know the words to either of them. As she ponders this, Myriah and Gabbie sing Hamilton in its entirety.

Gabbie hands her picture to Mary Anne and Dawn gives us a lecture about how you should say “Tell me about it!” instead of “What is it?” because if the kid knows you don't know what it is, they'll get upset. So here's what Gabbie's drawing looks like:

Mary Anne asks Gabbie to tell her about it and Gabbie says it's her mom and the “baby growing in her tummy.” Hey BSC, you know what this means! BABIES!!!!!!! Mary Anne tries to take their minds off this, knowing that little kids aren't usually thrilled about new additions to the family. But not the Perfect Perkins girls! They're thrilled and are even hoping it's a boy! The BSC won't have the problem of Myriah and Gabbie plotting the downfall of their new sibling like Jamie Newton did when he almost doused Lucy with punch.

Mary Anne takes the girls for a walk around the neighborhood to meet their new neighbors and the other angelic charges of the BSC. Get used to them, Myriah and Gabbie; you will spend every minute of your free time with them in BSC-hosted activities! Mrs. Perkins then comes home and she has no problem with Gabbie announcing to the babysitter that she's pregnant. Then Mary Anne surprises Myriah by showing her that their bedrooms are directly across from each other. All she has to do is have Myriah learn the flashlight code and call her a baby and it'll be just like old times.

Request; hii, can you do one were the reader is a professional ballet dancer (from the Opera Ballet Paris)? Not the original anon but can this be Lewis? I think itll be amazing to see them since they are from 2 different worlds; one is gentle, delicate, and light wherein the other one is aggressive, adrenaline rush + may i request for a ballerina reader x lewis? i’d be nice to see someone that is like the opposite of his work.

When you had been given a paddock pass for the Paul Ricard Grand Prix, you had accepted even if you didn’t know much about Formula One- you knew lot of people wanted to go, it was a popular event where lot of celebrities attended and you just couldn’t refuse.

You were a bit lost when you got in the Paddock on the first day, so many people were around and you knew none of them. You weren’t particularly shy but you would be lying if you said you didn’t feel intimidated and not at your place.

Wandering around the place, you stopped in front of the map of the area that was displayed- taking in where you could go and where you couldn’t. It was definitely going to be a strange week-end but who knew? Maybe you were going to have fun.

“ May I be of any help?”

Turning on your heels, you quickly realized that you were facing the most well-known driver in the history- and probably the only one you knew before doing some researches, “ well, uh, I just don’t know what I should be doing right now?”

“ First time attending a Grand Prix?”

“ Can I be honest? I was given this pass and I know absolutely nothing about your sport besides that you’re the best at it.”

You earned a laugh from the driver, he seemed amused at your sudden rant that sounded like you were apologizing for being new at this sport, “ gotta start somewhere, am I right? I have a couple of minutes before getting ready for practice, I can show you around?”

“ I don’t want to bother you- I’m sure you’re really busy.”

“ You’re not bothering, it’ll be my pleasure to serve as your guide and I don’t want a pretty girl like you to support a rival team.”

You laughed, knowing it was nothing more than a joke, but you would be lying if you said it didn’t make you flustered for a couple of seconds, “ I knew you had a reason to propose showing me around!”

“I would have suggested it too if it wasn’t the case.”

Within the next few minutes, Lewis showed you around a bit, explaining to you what you needed to know to understand what would happen during the practices today. While still not understanding much about this sport, Lewis explanations had piqué your interest.

It was so different from your life as a ballet dancer, but in a way, it seemed just as tough and intense. You had even gotten to go to the Mercedes’ garage which you weren’t sure you were normally allowed with your pass, but it was amazing to meet the team and see with your own eyes how they were getting a car ready.

You didn’t know the other teams so you were maybe a bit biased, but you definitely liked Mercedes’ vibe. You now knew you were going to support them this week-end. Sadly, Lewis was called to get ready as the start of the first practice was approaching.

You were surprised to be invited to watch from the garage but you refused, feeling like it was too much, that many fans would have deserved this invitation more than you and would watch from the Paddock, “ are you sure you don’t want to stay with the team and see how they work in real time?”

“ I can’t accept but thank you for this offer. It was nice meeting you and the team- and you won a new supporter, I’ll be rooting for you the whole week-end.”

Lewis smiled at your words, you could see he was delighted to know you’d be supporting him and his team, “ maybe we can meet after the practice or tomorrow and I’ll explain the rest of the week-end to you?”

“ That would be lovely but do you really have the time for that? I don’t want you to get in troubles for missing on something because of me.”

“ Don’t worry, I’ll make sure I have the time.”

“ Alright, that’s a date then,” as soon as the words slipped out of your mouth, you felt your face loses all color, “ i didn’t mean it as in a real date, oh my god I’m so sorry!”

Lewis smiled at your embarrassment, thinking it was adorable more than anything else, “ why are you sorry? A real date sounds good, too.”

“ Wait, really?”

“ Yes, unless you don’t feel like it- which would be totally fine.”

You couldn’t believe that you were being asked on a date by the most popular driver in the world when a few hours ago you didn’t know a thing about F1, “ no, no a real date would be amazing too!”

“ What about after the race on Sunday?”

“ Won’t you be too tired?”

He shrugged at your question, of course he would be but that didn’t mean he couldn’t go on a date, “ not enough to postpone a date.”

“ Alright, that sounds good to me. I’ll go back to the Paddock now, good luck out there.”

Waving goodbye to Lewis, you headed back to the Paddock to watch the first practice but not without stopping to the merchandise boutique where you bought one of the Mercedes’ cap in the color you liked the most.

The following day, you woke up in a good mood and excited for what the day would hold for you, you hoped that you would enjoy it as much as you did the previous day- before leaving your hotel, you didn’t forget to put on the Mercedes cap you bought, impatient to see Lewis’ reaction.

As you didn’t fix a place to meet or an exact hour- and you had no way of contacting him, you went back to the spot where you first met, hoping that Lewis wouldn’t have to look around for too long before finding you.

Busying yourself by answering some texts you had been too tired to answer last night, you ended up not noticing when Lewis walked to you until you heard his voice, “ nice cap you got there, y/n!”

You were proudly smiling ear to ear as you looked up to the driver, “ what can I say, you know how to sell your team. I’m a fan now!”

“ That’s good to know because I,” Lewis sounded a bit hesitant as he took something out of his pocket, “ you said you didn’t want to stay in the garage yesterday because you didn’t have the pass allowing you there, so I got you a V.I.P access one.”

“ That’s incredibly sweet of you Lewis but it’s too much, I can’t accept.”

“ I figured that you’d say something like that, it’s a gift, you can’t refuse it.”

It was so nice of Lewis to get you a V.I.P pass and he was right, you couldn’t really refuse a gift, but you had to return the favor in some way, “ alright, but in return, I’ll invite you at one of my performances.”

“ That’s a deal, but you didn’t tell me what you do for a living yet?”

“ I’m a ballet dancer at the Opera Ballet de Paris! I know it might not be your thing, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy what we do on stage.”

“ That’s amazing, I’ll be more than happy to attend one of your performances.”

You smiled again, your heart felt warm at the enthusiasm Lewis seemed to have at the idea of attending one of your performances, you hoped he wouldn’t be disappointed, “ I’ll get you one of the best seat, that’ll be like a V.I.P access in a way.”

“ Sounds good to me, maybe you’ll want my phone number so we can arrange the date?”

“ That’ll be great, especially if you still want to take me on a date tomorrow.”

“ Oh yes, definitely,” he smiled as you handed him your phone so he could enter his number, “ there you go, wanna learn more about racing now?”

“ Of course!”

Lewis put the new pass around your neck and you followed him around, listening attentively to everything he was saying- he had a way to explain that was truly captivating, to the point that you were starting to understand how everything worked, at least what he had explained so far.

After showing you around the track and in the pit lanes, you both made your way back to Mercedes’ garage- you were surprised to be welcomed as if they had known you for years, the ambiance hadn’t changed since you left yesterday, it was just as good.

If you had understood well, the day would start with a last free practice before moving on to the qualifying for the race on the following day. The team was hoping to get in the top 10 during the qualifying to have a good result on Sunday.

You had been told by Lewis that this year Mercedes’ were struggling with their cars but since a few races, it was getting better and the good results were starting to appear. You weren’t sure how this would play out but you definitely hoped that Lewis would get at the top.

When the time for the free practice came, you were offered a seat and headset, while you had been explained that free practice didn’t mean anything as getting the first place didn’t bring anything- which honestly seemed a bit similar to training for a performance to you.

Yet, you still hoped for Lewis to get the best result he could, you didn’t have to know much about this sport to understand how he deserved to get the best results. At the end of the practice, Lewis got into the fourth position, which wasn’t too bad of a result.

Waiting for the qualifying, you stayed on your seat, making yourself as little as possible to not be a bother to anyone as the whole garage was busy analizing the data gathered to get ready for the qualifying.

It’s only a couple of minutes before Lewis would have to get ready for what would be the next step in this race week-end that he came to you, apologizing profusely for letting you alone for so long, “ no worries, I don’t mind, it was interesting to see how you guys get ready for a race!”

“ Hopefully it’ll work out well for us and we set a good enough time to be in Q3.”

“ I believe in you, you can do it!”

Lewis smiled at your words, thankful to have you supporting him today, “ now I don’t have any other choice than to bring back a good result, I’d hate to disappoint you.”

“ You won’t disappoint me either way, just be safe out there, okay?”

“ I will.”

Satisfied with his answer, it was now your turn to smile as you took a step forward to close the gap between Lewis and you to give him a warm hug as a way of wishing him good luck for the qualifying.

And maybe, it somehow worked as at the end of the Q3, Lewis qualified in the fourth position, making it possible for him to reach the podium at the end of the race- at least, that’s what you hoped for.

Even if you didn’t know too much on F1 yet and that you barely met Lewis, your heart was swelling with pride and you couldn’t hide the proud smile plastered on your face- after all, it had been a good idea to attend this Grand Prix.

As Lewis made his way back to the garage, you waited patiently for your turn to congratulate him. This time, Lewis was the one to hug you as he thanked you for bringing him luck, you awkwardly laughed it off, “ I didn’t do anything, but it was amazing to see you get the fourth place!”

“ I think I’m going to need your good luck hug before the race tomorrow.”

“ I’ll be there to deliver!”

“ Good to know,” he smiled, remaining silent for a couple of seconds as if he was pondering an idea, “ would you like to go get something to eat later today?”

“ Isn’t our date supposed to be tomorrow?”

“ Yes but it can be our second date. Honestly, tomorrow’s night feels too far away but if you’re busy tonight, it’s totally fine, though.”

You shook your head, there was no way you’d be busy when Lewis wanted to go out with you, “ no, no I have nothing planned for tonight.”

“ I still have to debrief with the team and all, but I can come by where you’re staying at when I’m done? If that’s fine with you, of course.”

“ That sounds great, text me when you’re done and I’ll send you the address.”
