rereading the luxury liner arc after I just got back into my hyperfix recently and I wanna make sure I have a fresh understanding of the characters and. Guys I’m slowly being convinced of dadbastian now. I’m a changed woman

Gotta tell you this: the Green Witch arc is exactly the arc after which I have been considering Sebaciel fully canon. No shitting, no kidding, no quote on quote thing. Just like this. Canon. Full stop.

Like, hear me out, OK? It is the MOST sexually charged arc of the whole manga so far. It deals a lot with Ciel's SA trauma, and it starts already with lots of references of sexual activities (which, btw were mentioned already in the Weston Arc, remember the conversation about Ciel and Lizzie in the SWAN gazebo?).

So in episode 1 of this arc's anime adaptation we have Sebastian talking about horny witches who might or might not have had sex with some demons, who might or might not have been Sebastian.

In episode 2 we have Sullivan and the hysterical dick grabbing, and Ciel's reaction to that.

Then we're going to have the mustard gas poisoning and some VERY explicitly naked swimming in that cauldron or whatever it was. Lots of very interesting artistic choices there, too.

Then the PTSD plot and Ciel's traumatic memories, also sexual in nature. And then...

The whole culmination of it is this. The "90% earnest" soul-eating aka black tendril monsterfuck, which Ciel ends up approving after it happens. After which he gets better and his relationship with Sebastian transforms yet again, and becomes much much warmer in the later chapters.

And to me it is absolutely clear as to how this scene is meant to be viewed by the people who are invested in their relationship. This is sex. And it's canon. And there's no way around it. It is just that. I know how uncomfortable it can make some people feel, but like... idgaff at this point. They have consummated their unholy marriage in the darkest xenosensual way possible. And I love it. This is exactly the kind of fuck I can picture for their first time without them becoming honeyfluff OOC. Huuuuuge many thanks to Yana for actually going there and drawing that. And I dunno how the studio has handled this scene, but so far I see they're pretty much sticking to the manga, so I hope we're gonna be served nice and hot.

One more time, louder for the folk in the back row: sebaciel is canon. Has been for years, actually.

Thoughts on chapter 214

Ok, so, I've read chapter 214 and I do want to share a few thoughts on it before moving to 215:

1) Yo, Sebastian is PISSED!😂😂 They got no idea what they're getting themselves into, insulting this vain demon, now do they?? Cuz, sure, Sebastian moves by Ciel's orders, cuz that's their whole deal, but I do believe he anticipates Ciel's needs and orders too and does prepare in advance; he starts the day earlier than anyone else at the Phantomhive mansion, cuz he needs no sleep, after all.

2) I wonder if Sieglinde had anything to do with the implementation of elevators in London; 🤔

3) You can see the appraising and judgement in this guy's eyes, for how Ciel is dressed both expensively, elegantly and in new wardrobe pieces (that's what the shimmer near the shoes and cane is meant to signify, right? Something brand new, spotlessly clean and shinny).

I wonder what conclusion he's drawing, though: is he wondering where Ciel got the money for it, considering he's been on the run and in hiding? Or is he more worried about making a good impression in order to get a good tip? Or does he hate his ass, thinking he's a child born in the lap of luxury, who can afford everything he wants, while he has to bend over backwards for people who will never appreciate it, while always smiling, all while knowing he'll never reach the same level of wealth as someone born in nobility, no matter if he works his entire life?

You know, the usual.

I really wish I could tell what he's thinking here:

4) Don't tell me that if any of you were there, you wouldn't go "HURRAY FOR MODERN, INDOOR PLUMBING!!!"

5) I wonder if this is already hinting at an attempt to separate Ciel and Sebastian? 🤔

6) I wonder how this place is gonna fit into the story; have to say that it reminds me of the Circus arc though, with it being a marine amusement park and us seeing the tickets for it, like we saw the Noah's Ark Circus tickets, way back then... I'm thinking, is this attraction where they find and/ take the people they want to collect blood from? By this point in the story, I don't think I'm reading too much into it; could we possibly end up meeting more of the former Circus staff there? Like, we know besides Doll and Joker, they all died at the Phantomhive manor, but what happened to their bodies after? We don't know that, right? Who's to say, they weren't handed over to the Undertaker, as he was still Ciel's contact in the field, at the time.

7) I'm curious to know if this guy has a real life counter or if he was inspired or based, in any measure, on any famous people from the era, like the Rockefellers or the Vanderbilts; Yana-sensei does a lot of research for the manga, after all. Maybe I'll look that up later.

Either way, you know he's good at what he does (aka making money), since he even managed to be awarded a peerage for all his... "contributions"

8) And finally, we arrive at the greatest question of them all, the one that we have all been asking since finishing the chapter, causing the fandom to errupt into theories and speculations, just like in the good ol' days, as we re-read the story, scour over previous chapters for any hint of recognition and over fellow fan's posts as well, as we wait with baited breath for the next chapter and the answers it may bring to us:

WHO THE HELL IS THIS???

BTW, at a first glance, I would say Beast, cuz I'm thinking of someone who may have reason to call Sebastian a demon, while not necessarily knowing he IS, IN FACT, A DEMON, someone whose entire life was derailed because of (getting entangled with) the demon (and Ciel) and would have reason to deteste, despise and loathe him, but, at the same time, someone whom Sebastian would not spare a second thought for.

And I immediately thought of Beast.

Can you tell that I have a thing for the Circus arc yet or do you need more clues?

At the same time though, the pattern on his cloack and the cross from the IV stand, do remind me of this part of Weston's architecture, from the Public School arc:

I wonder, what could it all mean? If it even means ANYTHING.

I know some people are thinking that this is one of Sebastian's prior contractors, but I'm not inclined to believe that just yet, though I'm not totally dismissing the idea either. Still, I do feel like this is someone we've met before. Must be. I just feel like that is something the author would do, laying it right in front of us, the truth hiding in plain sight, right beneath our noses.

Or maybe we're all wrong and this really is someone neither Sebastian nor Ciel ever met before, but someone "hired" to drive a wedge between them, by making Ciel question Sebastian, his past and intentions?

To answer your question, the yandere characters that i draw -or had drawn- are usually the ones i like. I've stated in my pinned post back then that i only draw characters or things i like the most, after all. And i'm gonna be honest with you; i could never finish things i'm not interested in :'). Seriously. Not that i hate those who i didn't draw, no. It's just, i can't bring myself to 'feel' if i draw something i don't have strong feelings about.

But, if we're talking about yandere characters that i really like -very personally. Like, very, very personally-, i choose these five yan:

Alexander Danzel from Project infatuation by aspenglen (Original Char is by maskcover, by the way).

Klein from Klein V.0.1 by himeiro.

Ciel from Yandere Love: CoF/Apple for Teacher by ataraxicgames/A.K Fagan.

Double from Binary Star Hero by Concrete Parasite. and,

Unknown Caller from, well, Unknown by bondagebunny. (Let's just call the char like that here).

You might be frowning and questioning my sanity the moment you see three very-morally-deprived yandere there, i know xD. Especially since i put Ciel, Alex, and well, the Unknown Caller in my top 5 fav yandere.

But i specifically and primarily like those five because they have one thing in common: They have a certain Cryptic vibes that draw me in -bruh, what on earth i'm talking about-. Ciel and 'The Unknwon Caller' are even more so. And also, i'm always weak for 'a walking contradictive' kind of a character.

Let's talk about it one by one why i like them five personally, my pal :). -I actually have 10, but that would be too long to read-.

First, Klein;

He's soft, but he could get out of that zone and did that murderous thing if MC acted in the way he… didn't like or couldn't predicted (?). So cute, but so, so dangerous; i like it. A lot. I actually didn't expect it when i got that scary jumpscare and horror revelation. And when he hurt Yael that bad? And killed Sera? I'm shook. My cutie is so unexpected, like, what on earth.

I like how the developer manage to pull the horror element so smoothly and make Klein so scary. And the thing i like the most about Klein is even though he's a soft cutie, he's so confident -'of course, he's a bot', said you. But that's not my point here xD-. My second point liking Klein so much is because i have this weakness when it comes to machine engineering and yandere theme. A Bot who can be obsessed over you and could be that scary? Klein win my heart at the first sight. I mean, look at him. So adorable and could flip into something so dangerous real quick.

Second, Alex;

He's stoic and so calm. When i first played Project Infatuation, i was actually interested in Kaito - because he's smart. I have a thing for smart character too xD. But, like Saki and Lala said, "We're weak with stoic type, MC", Alex manage to caught my whole interest from the first half of gameplay until the end. He may seem the type who wouldn't hurt MC at all -since Ryo and Kaito have the look for it, gyahaha-, but he was the one who could. Stabbing MC? Check. Hitting MC's head against a cabinet? My wig fell off, friend.

Actually, Jin is more dangerous than Alex, but i personally don't like yandere characters who could be very easily manipulated.

Third, Ciel;

Pal, don't get me started on this one. In my whole visual-novel-gaming phase, especially when playing Yandere-themed games, the yandere usually try to catch MC's interest; by being kind, nice, polite, easy-going - overall approachable and a good shoulder for MC to lean on. But Ciel built different. This guy is obsessed with the MC but also always say things it is the way it is to MC. He's honest from hair to toe and never sugar-coat things even with the MC - no matter how brutal or hurtful it is.

And all i can say is this: If you're looking for a Yandere who could be a potential sugar papa -haha, what-, definitely would bully you 24/7 with cutting-tongue, smart to boot, a bit Tsun-Tsun, and if you're also weak for enemies-to-lovers trope -though this is in a very wrong context with him-, Ciel is your man. I actually have played his chapters and the other side stories, so… i would say Ciel is actually, indeed, a little bit Tsundere with MC. Just a little bit, which means no blushing and more of like, dodging things. I personally like him because he's a walking contradictive; a yandere who bullied you instead of trying to make you feel welcomed or wanted since the start? I love it.

Fourth, Double;

Similar to Ciel but more doting and… crazier. I like it when my darling yan is a criminal too -bro, my moral plunged too deep into valhalla at this point-.

Double also has this resilient and persistent personality that i like a lot. And i love a yan who knows what they want, how they want, and when to get it; Double has those traits coupled with his ability to use whatever resource available up his sleeve. Efficient yan and straight-to-the-point, it win me over smoothly -chef's kiss-.

And last, 'The Unknown Caller';

The thing i like about this guy is he doesn't hesitate to be rough, but, when MC is accidentally injured, he would switch to panic mode. Kinda funny to watch, but i feel pity for him :'). But what really win me over is his dynamic with mc. Half of the game filled with, like, their strange but comedic dynamic. And this scene in particular is my favorite:

Okay, so I tried made a list of songs which I think would be perfect for them. ♫ These songs are based from both of their POVs, though it may lean more towards Lizzy's.

Each song is arranged according to how O!Ciel and Lizzy's dynamics progressed through the manga. Somehow, she already knows the answer, and it is causing her anguish over her supposed love. *This song could be interpreted to be directed to both the twins, as Lizzy thought all this time that she was loving one person only.

⠀「 ★ 」 ⠀・He questions you a lot, mostly the basic ones like "who are you?" and "where did you come from?" and of course, the classic "what do you want from me?" I mean lets be serious it is slightly tiring because he keeps repeating himself.

You sighed, clearly annoyed- Lanyon kept asking you the same damn questions and it was eating away at your brain, who knew someone like this would be so irritating to be around? You sure as hell didnt. "Lanyon, Lanyon- please just stop, I already told you I'm NOT an alien, or some freaky monster that's gonna come after you... jesus" "I don't believe you" you deadpanned, wow- how the actual fuck does this guy have friends "Well then why do you keep asking me these dumb ass questions?" you retorted, leaning back on your chair, blowing a rasberry to the cieling of his room.

「 ★ 」 ⠀・Since you're always around him you've got to meet his friends; Utterson and Jekyll, who liked you (but thats only because you didn't act the same as you did to Lanyon). Jekyll esspecially found you interesting but you avoided him- after all you know his secret and dont really wanna get involved with stuff like that PLUSSS you gotta keep Lanyon company.

「 ★ 」 ⠀・speaking of, whenever you're around Lanyon you use a phone, which freaks him tf out because what the hell do you mean you can text people in RUSSIA within seconds? That's impossible.... to him.

"[name]?" you heard the voice of lanyon call out to you, in turn you lifted your head and met his eyes "Yeah?" "What is that?" he pointed to your phone "It's my phone?" ... "what is a phone?"

Yeah you loved explaining a phone to him, watching his eyes buldge out of his skull as you kept talking about the internet and what Wi-fi is. Then everyday, when you two would have a chance to talk you'd show him other devices you owned, to which he'd allways call you a 'witch', whether it was a joke or not you really didn't care.

「 ★ 」 ⠀・When Lanyon found out about Hyde and Jekyll being the same person you were there, making sure to keep him as sane as possible and safe in case Hyde or Jekyll tried anything- after all you and him grew closer over the months you were with him. You did also video everything with a secret camera just incase of anything.

「 ★ 」 ⠀・You expected him to not get as sick as he did originally because you were there and shocked him but unfortunately you couldnt stop it. He was going to end up dying, and in a sad way you blamed yourself; you did force the plot forward.

"[name] I dont need you here okay? I'll be okay, my servants will take care of me" "Bullshit! they don't know anything about medication or taking care of someone" You agrued with Lanyon, staring at him solemly- he was dying and you could tell, you've seen people die like everyday (while you did glorify the future world to Lanyon it was all just you projecting, your timeline is just as bad as the medieval one). "I still have a bunch of stuff I can try to use" You rummaged through your bag after calming down, not daring to look at your friend's sad expression, it would make you emtotional too.

"If nothing can help me from your items, let alone mine, then I'm not worth it... I just still cannot wrap my head around everything." "Then dont, it will only make you worse Lan" You finally had the mental strength to look at him, seeing his pale and tired face made your heart ache, maybe if you never came he's be okay?. no of course he wouldn't be, he'd still die except it would be alone. You just thought that with your arrival and your tech you would be able to at least numb his reaction a bit but I guess seeing a murderer transform into one of your old friends would cause everyone to live in shock, or maybe not. "[Name] listen, promise me, that if I die... which I will, will you keep Utterson company? I fear at the thought of him.... or you being alone after my death"

When did he become so fucking sentimental? with a sad chuckle you responded "I thought you hated me? becuase I'm magical?" "No, I mean, I still find your antics slightly frustating but nothing can be done now. Just please promise me" "okay... fine Lanyon, I promise" ... it took him a while to answer you but he did "Thank you [name], not for just that but for being around me? 「 ★ 」 ⠀・It did break your heart to see Lanyon die, but you had a promise to fufill, and that you did. You kept Utterson company until the day he found about everything too and eventually accepted everything. Even though he gave you chacne to leave him alone you didn't, afterall you had made a promise to Lanyon. What kind of a friend would you be if you didn't keep your promise? a terrible one.

「 ★ 」 ⠀・You justed hoped that Lanyon was at peace.

True, and I think they needed to disguise their magic otherwise they might be consider 'witches' in that timeline. Lilia and Malleus would have done well in that period but that problem is how they can't reveal their magic that makes it harder for them, the Savanaclaw all needed is hide their ears with hats but their tail (except Ruggie) is the problem, and majority couldn't able to experience what it is like in that period given their modern touch. There is also the fact that unless Ciel helps them, they are unable to have a shelter provided since Crowley at least he understands the different worlds from Ciel's world.

And given how lighter Twisted Wonderland is compare to Ciel's world, I am sure they need to think about potential supernatural enemies and serial killers.

THIS IS A REALLY BIG TOPIC!...😭😭😭 Perhaps it would be difficult for the guys from Savanclaw, because they could be considered "strange and not beautiful", as they relate to Snake💔 Lilia could quickly get used to this lifestyle, but it would definitely be difficult for him to teach so many children..! Ciel would hardly agree to help so many teenagers, but it seems to me that they could FORCE him to do it here, loll~~

The story was honestly pretty sweet. Even though it's a raid boss you don't actually fight the conductor in 20-5. He says he's not the combat type so he was just gonna let them go, but turns out the doors won't open until he finishes a proper performance. Them's the breaks. So the gang play some music with him and take him through therapy. it's really cool. He's like "i'm just an android i do i really count as alive?" and Eve is like "well you can hold a conversation far better than the androids outside and you can also create art. Even if you aren't a Nasod that's alive enough for me :)" I love this man i SWEAR TO GOD BARKAT IF YOU KILL HIM FOR LETTING THEM THROUGH I'M GOING TO BE REAL UPSETTI

Eve is great in this chapter btw. She's honestly the star of the whole raid even though it's Lu's region. I lover her heart to heart with the Conductor and I love her getting snippy.

On a side note, I like how in the recent storylines they didn't forget how "morally questionable" (evil) some of the gang and their allies are. While exploring the land of steel, the Tortas were slaughtering anyone who questioned them. They didn't suddenly become good people now that they've adopted Raven as their boss.

Remember that all the Ikus of Magmelia are terrified of the Torta. The only reason they are even alive is because Vasili (Incoolord) convinced Ricardo to let them go in exchange for their vision. (This is why all the Ikus in Karis' army or in Magmelia either have scars on their faces or blindfolds).

In the Monaterra storyline we have Ciel openly and proudly talking about ways he'd efficiently kill his targets, and it's like "oh right he was an Assassin. He worked with the Lanox underworld."

Raven and Elesis were mercenaries, they've definitely killed people for money.

Aisha is a Landar mage and not a single one of them is normal (except my goat Yuria).

Even though Tir is an ally for the Abyss storyline, he still absolutely cannot be trusted and would bet on the gang's deaths for a laugh.

Aren openly invited Ran into his body because of his treatment in the Xin capital. He may not have forseen everything that would've happened, but he definitely knew that a lot of people in the palace (many of them innocent servants) were going to die.

Haivan plotted for Aegrip and Berthe to kill eachother during their rampage and isn't sorry about it even though he'll admit that the current outcome where the capital doesn't get turned to rubble was preferable.

Add was openly talking about taking apart the Conductor which they just made friends with.

Interestingly, this contrasts with Elboy's decision to do everything he can to spare the baby Myuriconus in 18-2 (Abyss). He feels bad after seeing how the Magmelia Dream Demons are mourning Karis and doesn't want to kill if it he doesn't have to. The gang follow him even though Ciel or Raven or even Elesis absolutely would have killed it in such a desperate situation (they were actively dying due to being in the Abyss) yet they still followed him because they trust Elsword as their leader and moral compass (even if they make fun of him in the down time)

-Me: Okay so apparently it was a year since Alois was last put in detention and he lost his 'fame' as a delinquent?? Character development. I mean, he's in detention right now, but still-

-Me and my best friend being Travis stans is a costant. We were hype about him FINALLY having a Travis PoV chapter.

-Travis, in that chapter, says that if Cielois ever got engaged, he would be sure to give them a discount, wich i found really sweet. Now I'm wondering, in the future... were the rings made by Travis' mother or did Ciel commission them from someone else? I don't remember...its been too long..please tell me if you're reading this, Hate.

-Me losing it from how funny it is that everything happens at Warwick (despite knowing that it's bc it's the MCs' school) upon starting the Black Annis case and musing about how the other students should have just gone to Weston or some other less chaotic school.

-So, during the whole Ciel-Fights-Alois-While-Under-The-Effects-Of-The-Fear-Poison, Ciel says "Your blood tastes just as good as the rest of you" and I was like "I really didn't want to know that"

-After hurting Alois and coming back to his senses, Ciel is scared and feels guilty so he keeps avoiding him, wich hurts Alois as well as himself, so the whole household is upset about the situation in return. When I told my friend about it, she went "Nooo they're in their divorce arc!" and it killed me 💀

-I was talking about how Cielois & Co were scared of the council kicking up a fit and killing them bc of the drug controlling Ciel, but I was calm bc I trust Integra, and tbh that was my modus operandi about most if not every interaction the demons ever had with HELLSING...and I'm not even a HELLSING watcher/reader...

-Btw i also stanned Oliver's dad EXTREMELY. He's a good man and a good father.

-I was really sad about Alois not wearing the short shorts anymore bc they were funny to me. Now I'm not anymore, tho I gotta say I always missed his crossdressing? Like although he did it so often mostly for attention (as he himself says in the sequel) I gotta say I miss the "So what's wrong if I'm a man and like to crossdress?" thing he did. Luckly Kris picked up the slack and crossdressed in that Pride chapter. U GO KRIS.

- So Integra goes into the specific of the experiment to Humanize Ciel and then asks everyone if they're okay with saying he's innocent in the attack to Alois and everyone but one gets his hand up and I was really mad abt that one but then I found out that it's just that the guy was asleep bc he was extremely old and it was really funny to me.

-About the paintball fight the 7 did where (I think) the others put Alois and Ciel alone in two different teams thinking it would put them at a disadvantage, my friend was like "I love how they did that bc if Cielois was together the others would be defeated in half a second (Bathroom Break included in that time)"

- Me: I still don't understand why the rest of the Seven is like "You guys never do anything chill and normal!!" like...The fashion show?? The summer vacations?? The host club???

My friend: Exactly, c'mon! The fact that like half of those ends in chaos anyway is not their fault...
