Hamato Clan Pallets | So, part 2 of my project I started because I noticed a number of the colors from @pluvionpc's color pallets were Season 1 exclusives, or were tinted by the scene color overlay and thus not the true bases. (No offense to you man, you did what you could and without them, this wouldn't exist) The purple dragons were surprisingly hard to get colors for, because they only appear, in light / neutral lighting, in 1 episode of the 3 they appear in, either dark in the next or on a screen. That and I kept fucking up the pallets with errors, can ask those in @elliwoods Bean Server... There was screaming and crying into 2 AM as I live-blogged spotting the errors, after dropping it there like... 6 fuckin' times and dying each time I saw a new one. /rage.

I maaaay have psyched myself out a bit on Big Mama's spider form pallet because I thought it was going to be painful... It wasn't, It was easy, and the fastest, I got it done in less than an hour.

Also, fun fact, Big Mama's Spider form is one of the few whose mouth gets colored in black. She also seems to have 2 web colors, that purple, and the silvery purple that is her human form's hair color.

Sunita was also pretty easy, as she's one of the few characters that have had their turn around posted, that I could pull base colors from, even from her Googlyschootz sheet, which has the opacity effect (I think it is around 80% or 90%)

On that note, Sunita still has the default mouth colors, but they're layered on top of her green color + opacity lowered.

Fun fact: Sunita inadvertently confirms that while 'Yokai' is the general term for all the "mythical's" (IE: Like ''Humans") in the world, they all do have individual names, IE: She and her dad are Googlyschootz. (Also the fact I had to go to the transcript to get her race name, instead of it being listed under trivia on her wiki page, greatly irritates me.)

Drax's villain armor was... Easier than I thought, I kept procrastinating on it because I thought it would end me out of frustration and it would end up being bigger than it was... Though it is clear his design had a few color changes before the show aired by all early art being all colored differently.

I also didn't do Huginn and Muninn with Drax's as I gave Mayhem is own, might as well give the two their own pallet too.

ok, so i just saw an anti-dni post talking about how having a dni list in bio is purposeless and annoying since it is like a 'holding a sign saying "do not kick me." ' now, i find that perspective objectionable (since obtaining a block list might be what is desired anyways and not all dni reasons have to be extremely polarizing, e.g., i dont think a minors dni will suddenly make a billion minors annoyed, making them interact w/ you immediatly) and i have a slight feeling that you disagree with that point of view too because uhhhhh.

so what i wanted to know was whether you share the same reasons to oppose that perspective, and, if not, then, what are they?

I have been getting really annoyed with the backlash to dnis... I think it's goofy when some person has a dni with a million things, but it feels reactionary to me to say "it makes no sense for you to put your boundaries and expect people to follow them." There's especially this vibe with people who post more extreme content getting mad at dnis. I think that's weird. Partially, people seem to take them as like... a sign of moral superiority or hatred... rather than just a little bit of clarity on boundaries. These people talk about "curating your online space" but have to make these posts ranting about people who do it in a way they dislike. I especially think it's dumb to say, "Just block me, why do I have to not interact with you?" because... I mean, you can't block someone you don't know exists. It's meant to be a preemptive expression of boundaries, so the other party has the chance to block you and / or just not interact.

I know that, in practice, some people have really silly, long dnis that are linked on some weird carrd that takes forever to read. I don't think it's fair to strawman the concept of expressing some of your boundaries online in a digestible format as being stupid because of that, though. Especially when a lot of the people with silly dnis are teenagers just trying to figure their life out. They'll grow out of it. It's fine.

I also think it's weird and victim blame-y to say people will naturally be harassed if they give any kind of indication of their boundaries. I sometimes get mean anons, but for the most part, my experience online is way better because I am upfront about things. I don't get too personal or say things I'm uncomfortable sharing, but I make my boundaries clear. Even when I was a teenager and getting harassed by redditors, I never had stuff I asked to be trigger tagged used against me like people fearmonger about. (I'm sure it can happen, but I think that for most people, it just results in their social circle tagging stuff for them.) Even if that did happen, I think it would cruel to say that it was my fault for daring to express a boundary. If you kick the guy who says "do not kick me", you're still being bully and a contrarian asshole. Even if I didn't express a boundary, people like that would likely harass me. If I don't express a boundary for the sake of avoiding harassment, I get in exchange an audience that will constantly be shocked and fight with me about my beliefs when they show. Then, that creates either an unpredictable level of harassment or the feeling of being harassed because I'm constantly in discourse with my followers. At best I feel miserable and hate interacting with my followers.

I think this partially comes from people who are afraid to express their boundaries for fear of backlash (ie they want to make extreme content but fear saying so will make their followers mad), but honestly I think being straight forward makes your audience more curated. The people I see who post extreme content and are clear about it seem to have an easier time than people who build an audience of a bunch of unsuspecting people and then slowly introduce untagged incest kink or something. Not saying it's a guaranteed anti-harassment tool, but I don't understand the impulse to warn for nothing and have no clear boundaries with your audience, then get mad you curated the audience you curated. I hope it doesn't come across as me victim-blaming in the opposite direction, I don't think anyone deserves harassment regardless of if I disagree with what they post online. I kind of just mean to illustrate a counter example to the idea of the dni-haver making themself a target or inherently Being A Harasser.

So just yesterday on Sept. 4th it felt like any other normal day, I get to my dorm to video call family and instead of seeing my parents at home, I see them both in tears as my younger brother is laid in a hospital bed with tubes and oxygen and wires from several medical devices coming out of him. He had a normal morning but as he was dropped off to class he started to have chest pains, not one hour later he had to get picked up from school and soon enough he was rushed to the ER. After some xrays the doctors had said there were some holes in his right lung which had collapsed and had been giving him complications in breathing properly and gave him severe pain. He spent the night in the hospital, and earlier today he was taken for surgery to get a pump installed to help him breathe and get his body to recover and heal. I am so so thankful that things are going smoothly but he will be in bed in the hospital for the next several days, my mom is with him just about every second possible and my dad has also taken the week off of work to spend as much with them as possible. I am stuck across the country barely starting my year in college and have no way home, the best I can do is continue my studies but with no current income, I am opening commissions to work on between classes. I have been here the past two days since I found out about this news absolutely sick to my stomach unable to eat/rest properly trying to go through my day as normally as possible. I am Hispanic so my family is very close-knit and they mean the absolute world to me, especially my brother who has always been by my side and we do just about everything together, hell, he would always look up to me for everything and has been inspired to dabble in art because he saw me doodling all the time.

We still do not know why this happened suddenly, they tell us it can be common for athletes especially those who push their bodies to the limits, but my brother does not do any kind of sports. He is not unfit either, he is the healthiest person I know and always watches what he eats, so to have this suddenly happen was completely out of the blue. My parents will stay with him in the hospital for the next 5 nights until he can hopefully be released to recover at home. During this period we are not getting any income and with everything that's happened so far, the medical bill is going to be a nightmare.

I knew absolutely nothing about that game and from playing it I haven't really learned much more than I started with, so I can firmly say that the context and actual plot you guys have to play off of really doesn't seem like much and what you have taken from all of that and run with is incredible. I love seeing you on the dash, I love the little banter that Sheik and Zelda have developed and whenever you finally settle and back I would love to have an actual thread go! First JJK fic for whumptober! I was told to whump Gojo this year, so I hope I have managed that here. This story is set before the Hidden Inventory arc.

Gojo woke woozily, having no recollection of how he had gotten to—wherever he was now.

A groan beside him had him forcing his eyes open to see Getou lying next to him, bringing a hand up to rub at his head.

"Hey," Gojo grunted, rolling over and pushing himself onto an elbow. "What the hell?"

He looked around, seeing they were both apparently in some sort of cell. It was dark and there was a door with bars on it on one side of the small space.

"Where are we?" Getou murmured, also pushing himself upright.

Gojo instinctively went to reach out with Six Eyes to look for Cursed energy, but a vague numbness washed through him, an almost uncomfortable buzzing feeling, and he blinked, far more awake now.

"What the hell?" he gasped again, clutching at his hair before turning to Getou.

That was when he saw the collar around his friend's throat, and reached up to feel an identical one around his own.

"What is this?" he demanded.

Getou's hand also went to the collar, tugging. "I don't know. But this doesn't look good."

"You can say that again!"

"All I remember is checking out the area all those sorcerers were disappearing in." Getou said thoughtfully. "What about you?"

Memories started to flood back in as Gojo remembered receiving the mission from Yaga, being dropped off in the part of Tokyo where disappearances were occuring. It was just supposed to be an investigative mission but…

"Yeah, same. And it looks like we're going to be adding to the list." He started to tug at the collar, gritting his teeth as he couldn't find any latch on it. "Dammit, can this thing come off?"

Before he and Getou could investigate their situation further, footsteps sounded outside, and the door was unlocked and swung open on rusty hinges revealing several men with masks over the bottom halves of their faces, carrying batons in their hands.

"Get up," one commanded.

Gojo sneered. "Like hell! We're not doing anything until we get some kind of explana—agh!"

One of the men stepped forward and shoved the baton against Gojo's shoulder. An electric shock zapped through him, identifying the weapon as a cattle prod rather than just a baton.

"Satoru!" Getou cried as Gojo fell back in shock and pain. He turned to glower at the guards, fists clenching as they brandished the cattle prods threateningly. "What do you want?" he demanded.

"You'll find out soon," one of the men said tersely and came inside, dragging the two students to their feet and pushing them out the door. (Continue reading on Ao3! Link above)

Rating: Decently Reliable (6/10)

Further explanation and analysis under the cut. Major trigger warning, this Carrd discusses instances of abuse in great detail that I will reference and pick apart.

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I had a very long and exhausting shift today, and I wanted to make sure that I did my due diligence in checking this source out. This Carrd does things a lot better than I've seen other Carrds do. For one, it lists out a sources page. It also provides examples instead of just saying nebulous things such as "governments" and "a secret network of [Jewish] organizations." That said, this is still a Carrd made by someone who is not an expert, which means that it is not fully reliable, and there are some claims that the author makes that make me raise my eyebrow.

Overall, here's how I would rank this Carrd in terms of common issues that I see among RAMCOA resources:

With 0 being "this issue is not present here" and 10 being "holy shit this Carrd's helpfulness is completely overshadowed by this."

Antisemitism And Related Rhetoric:

Satanic Panic Rhetoric: 4/10

Literally uses a source from nineteen fucking ninety-one to prove their point, which includes a lot of satanic panic bullshit. I'm sorry, but this is just not okay in any universe. Also, this gem of a misleading quote, which is either intentionally or unintentionally misrepresenting why the satanic panic was bullshit.

Known for its prevalence in the “Satanic panic” and sometimes even referred to as SRA (Satanic ritual abuse), ritual abuse is often seen as highly controversial. Victims are painted as unreliable or susceptible to their therapists’ suggestions, and their stories go unheard.

Like??? This person probably has no idea what the satanic panic even was. By omitting the crucial detail that it was an antisemitic and homophobic fearmongering tactic by the Christian conservative right, they're making it seem like any person trying to analyze the antisemitism of this crowd's rhetoric is inherently disrespectful to survivors. By trying to spread the narrative that it's disrespectful to survivors to be critical of fearmongering, it's harmful to way more people, including survivors.

"Shadow Government" Shit: 4/10

This Carrd contains a lot of references to the government or governments (though doesn't specify which government or where in the world) doing RAMCOA. While I do not doubt that some governments have indeed perpetrated this form of abuse, omitting the details of where this took place can be very harmful. Below is an example that the author of this Carrd provided of organized abuse.

A government, looking for ruthlessly loyal soldiers and assassins, allows children to be brought up as fighters against humanitarian law. The children are forced to do daily military drills, constantly exposed to violence from both sides, never allowed to show their emotions, etc. Some of these children are even given steroids and other drugs against their will with the hope of increasing their reflexes and strength.

I did a little google search about the use of child soldiers in modern times, and I specifically looked for instances of them being forced to use drugs. While it is true that this does happen, it happens very little, and it is mostly done by non-government military groups. Again, while this scenario does happen, putting it next to more common instances of child rape as if they're remotely the same in scale and frequency can be seen as misleading.

While the author doesn't make any false claims in this area per se, the way that they go about making their claims feels a bit iffy. I give this one a 4/10.

Jewish Stereotypes: 0/10

I didn't see any sort of stereotyping of Jewish people or anything like that, so this Carrd is pretty good on that end. Although, as a disclaimer, I'm not Jewish myself, so I do not have the final authority on this matter.

General Shit:

Medium Unreliability: 8/10

A score of 8/10 comes from the fact that it's a Carrd with no way to contact the author or even know who they are. They claim to be a survivor, but for all anyone knows, they could be lying about that. That does not mean that they are lying, and I understand that revealing that one is a survivor can put them at risk, but nonetheless it is difficult to trust a nameless, faceless person who claims to know about such a serious subject, and who has no professional qualifications or experience.

Bad Sources: 4/10

This Carrd uses a generally acceptable list of sources, but some are unreliable, and one is satanic panic bullshit.

Conclusion

Averaging out all of my ratings on various common problems, this Carrd gets a solid 6/10 (with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best) in terms of misinformation and harmful stereotypes. This makes it decently reliable with a few issues.

Hey Senpai carrd creator and I would like to answer a few questions cause I JUST saw your posts.

1. Senpia is mix of the word sentient and the abbreviation (P)lural (i)internal (a)xperience (the alternative spelling of experience is inside joke between me and my friend it references like the alternative way of living as a system hence like alternative spelling I hope that made sense) It has nothing to do with the word senpai and isn't pronounced like it at all....

2. The main reason for collecting donations is to put it towards hosting a full functional website. Websites are not free you have to pay for the domain and you also have to pay for hosting (both of which are not one time payments) and the amount of storage you get varries as well as the quality. (Like you can host a site on some places cheap but the site will load really slowly ) it's not something that's required it's optional. I chose Litecoin over Bitcoin and Ethereum because Litecoin is what is considered a "stable coin" the value stays relatively the same whereas Bitcoin and Ethereum have huge value fluctuations. You can also track crypto transactions on a Blockchain explorer like https://blockchair.com/litecoin it shows you all the money in the wallet and all of the transactions , but I understand if not everyone is comfortable with it I can find something else (Also I didn't know about PayPal business I can Google it and do more research so ty : D)

3. and you can't unintentionally mine crypto? It's something you have to intentionally do and often times requires complex machines to "mint" new crypto. (Remember kids there is a lot of misinformation online and if people can't provide sources for there claims always be skeptical)

On the whole crypto thing, I don't think people are suggesting that trading Crypto directly harms the environment. I'm not super educated on the subject so people can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the real issue is that it's still supporting the crypto-economy.

The best comparison I can think might be Diamonds. Diamond mining is also damaging to the environment. And diamonds, like Crypto, are mostly expensive because we decided they are.

When you buy a diamond, you aren't directly harming the environment but you are creating more demand. And more demand keeps diamonds expensive which keeps them profitable for the people who are harming the environment. Industries wouldn't mine Crypto if nobody used it.

As I see it, the issue is that using Crypto incentiveses harming the environment even if you aren't harming the environment yourself. It's l the economics.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to mine Crypto unintentionally or how it factors into the conversation but Cryptojacking exists and can use people's PCs.

If I might offer a bit of constructive criticism, I think there are a lot of issues with this that might make it inaccessible and unlikely to catch on.

The fact that the term is based on an inside joke. The acronym not really feeling accurate (why is an individual headmate referred to as a Senpia if the acronym calls it a plural internal experience?) The name itself not having its origin or meaning listed on the site. The fact that anyone who Googles it will have Google assume they meant Senpai.

And I think ideally, it would have been best to try to build a community first and show your commitment before asking for money to help setup a website. If there had already been quality guides on the page before you asked for donations, people might have been more inclined to see it as a pay-what-you-want service.

my main issue is keeping all my important stuff in order, so i have a google doc and all that's on it are the tags i use, or plan to use in the future

also for your profile, you have to decide a colour scheme and a navigation style (i really suggest simple styles because they're easier to change) and if your eyes strain easily, i do not recommend the small text like how i format

keeping one draft on your tumblr that contains text you reuse a lot is soooo helpful, for example my copyright text and my symbol divider, that's all in one draft

^ alongside those, i have links to my cc/character masterlists so they're easily accessible

LOOK ON TUMBLR HELP BLOGS, and no i don't mean from staff, i mean blogs made by real people dedicated to teaching people how to do new things with their blog and posts (these can be found by simply searching your issue on google or safari)

1) I'm a college student under the medical field which makes me busy all the time. I'm still currently trying to adjust my schedule from school and my schedule for my leisure which is writing of course.

2. My latest fanfiction (An Alhaitham fanfiction, you can read this by clicking this link) just got community labeled. At first I didn't understand what it was not until I saw some fellow writers from all over different fandoms experience the same and it just bummed me out. To make it easier to understand: Community Labeled = shadow banned (lesser interactions coming from audience) It took me about three days to finish that.

3. I really take effort into putting my piece together as how I envision my fic would be. You can see it the way I also project my blog and the posters above my fictions posted. I need my work to be how I want I want it to be.

➸Although it really bummed me I realized that I can also post my works in AO3 without the trouble of being community labeled. I'm still on queue (not really using Ao3 nor had any interactions of using the media) but will wait for an approval.

I'm not here to judge anyone's ships, and even less tell them what they can or can't do. My views and opinions on ships are mine, and they are just that. IIn the end of the day, it is up to me to decide whether or not I'll write a ship.

Furthermore. I like writing romance/shippings, I am biased to certain ships. But again, my bias shouldn't be mistaken with autoshipping. It only means I like those ships, I'd be more than happy to write them, but they won't skip the plotting/brainstorming stage.

These two things are in my rules Carrds, but they are still worth pointing out:

each muse comes with their own ship policies, make sure to double-check them or ask me in case something isn't clear.

I only ship at max. with 3 different versions of the same character. This is in order to help me manage the quality of the plots, and give them all the proper level of attention and care they deserve.

As well as to help combat, ship hoarding/collecting. If I see someone is basically just going around, shipping with multiple versions of the same character. Essentially making me into just a +1 to their ship count, then I won't ship with their muse either.
