I love the shapes you use to draw machete, or really any character!! The way you draw noses, ears, bodies, fur, it looks like of I were to reach my hand out I could actually feel it, the bumps in the skin the squish of the flesh the softness of the hair. When the villain is calm and serious and fights for the right reasons, even if they're doing damage because they don't know how else to do it.

And the hero is bad. They're horribly selfish, and they enjoy torturing the villains they catch. They don't want to help the city, all they wants is to watch their enemies bleed to death. Maybe they were also excluded by their own team because no one felt good in their presence.

When the good villain and the bad hero meet for the first time and the villain realizes how screwed up the hero's mind is and that the only thing that motivates them is violence.

Maybe they end up falling in love when the villain shows the hero that violence is not everything and the hero ends up as a very protective person towards the villain.

Maybe everything sadistic about the hero will come out and end off the villain in the crudest way possible and the entire city will realize that the hero is scarier than all the villains combined.

So here's some headcanons:

Blondie helps preen Cupid's wings since it's an orderly and relaxing thing to do that won't stress her out (i.e., it's something she has control over).

Cupid gets a little grumpy/hormonal when her wings molt, so she usually skips class because of this.

Cupid's wings are extremely sensitive to the touch, and given they're large enough to where she bumps into people sometimes, it's not a good combo when she accidentally brushes against people in the halls.

Blondie is the only person Cupid has allowed to touch her wings (outside of whatever the fuck she did in Thronecoming, like girl how did you change your entire wing anatomy??? By yourself???)

She makes Mourning Dove coos when she's happy or calm like the purring of a cat :3

Her wings puff up when she's caught off guard or in a general state of shock, and they flutter or flap when she's happy or flustered (which is canon, btw!!)

Cupid also flies all the time in the books but never in the show for some reason, and it makes me unreasonably upset, like did they spend their entire flying budget on Faybelle ...

CAN YOU. IMAGINE. dean's seething, quiet anger and apathy, not his explosiveness. his scrambled brain trying to make head or tails of this life, this situation and not knowing how. it's all so stupidly sad and delicious i hate it i love it

Listen, LISTEN, what makes Kanej such a compelling and unique ship is that they IN FACT don’t need skin on skin contact to love each other. They don’t need what other couples have to feel how they feel or to show their affection for each other. They have so much trauma and issues they have to deal with but that does not stop them from being willing to try to be together despite their struggles. They can barely hold hands but that does not erase the yearning and the love and devotion they so clearly feel for the other.

Kaz is willing to try to put himself together for her. He shows he cares by giving her everything she ever wanted: her freedom and her parents and a ship to hunt slavers.

And Inej canonically states she doesn’t think she could ever have a normal relationship with anybody else, she doesn’t want that, she’s not made for that life. What she wants is Kaz being willing to try to open up for her. The “I will have you without armor” is not about her wanting him to remove his gloves for her and give her physical affection. SHE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW IF SHE COULD EVEN HANDLE THAT.

What she wants is Kaz being willing to try for her. If she was going to make herself vulnerable and open her heart to a relationship with him she needs him to meet her in the middle. She knows what she deserves and she was not going to try if Kaz was going to give her nothing but his usual emotionally repressed self.

That’s it. It’s not about skin on skin contact, it’s not about Inej needing a man without trauma to fulfill physical needs she cannot even handle just yet because she was the victim of human trafficking and repeated SA in the Menagerie. And I DESPISE the writers for completely erasing that aspect and daring to imply something between Inej and Tolya. Tolya who canonically states he has no interest in romance, who literally says his books and his poetry are more than enough! That one writer with their stupid IG post, I swear they don’t have even the most basic understanding of these characters and what make them so unique and special. LITERALLY NO ONE ASKED FOR A LOVE TRIANGLE WHERE ITS NOT NEEDED STOP THAT SHIT RIGHT THIS INSTANT!
