it’s well past two in the morning when all your guests have left, and it’s just you and jeonghan and some cardboard boxes.
the two of you are taping the last of his boxes shut, a movie you’ve seen a million times playing on the television, both of you talking and laughing over it. the party has just died down — yours and jeonghan’s farewell party.
he’d said it sounded too dramatic, when you first brought it up. because neither of you were going far. you to your new studio apartment and jeonghan moving in with seungkwan, now that the lease was up and the owner wasn’t planning to renew it. jeonghan had dubbed it the “house-cooling” party instead, the opposite of housewarming — the kind of stupid joke he only makes to you.
still, though, as you sit among the boxes and leftover pizza, you feel kind of — wistful. when you say as much, jeonghan laughs, reaching over to tap under your chin fondly.
“wistful?” he repeats, smiling.
you huff at him. “i’m going to miss you, that’s what i’m saying, you ass.”
“i’m not going far,” he reminds you. “we’re literally within twenty minutes of each other. fifteen on a good day.”
“still!”
“i’ll visit you all the time. i’ll get tired of seungkwan doing karaoke. and then we’ll basically be roommates again, because he doesn’t stop doing karaoke.”
jeonghan’s tone is light and easy, but you can’t help wondering why the two of you aren’t going to be roommates again. why you hadn’t looked for an apartment together. neither of you had brought it up, things just fell this way, and all of a sudden you’re thinking about how jeonghan always moves your washing to the dryer for you and how much you’re going to miss him.
because you really are — not just because of laundry. you guys were roommates before you became actually close, brought together by mutual friends; you’ve never known a jeonghan that wasn’t jeonghan, my roommate, and suddenly it feels a little like losing him. because suddenly you love him, and not in a jeonghan, my roommate way. not in a jeonghan, my friend way either — in a way that puts aches in your chest, has your ribs living up to their name, acting a cage for your heart. you’re not sure how long it’s been, but it’s been long enough.
you’d been clinging to the hope that it would pass; everyone knows you don’t date your roommate. but now — now he’s not your roommate, and it hasn’t passed, and you don’t know whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing anymore.
on one hand: you could tell him. bare it all out, in the open, raw and bloody and unfettered. on the other hand: there are so many things you would rather do than experience rejection. you’d be able to take just being his roommate if you needed to. could’ve held out until it passed.
“maybe we should’ve moved in together again,” you voice, forcing your voice light and airy and casual, playing it like a random off-hand suggestion.
jeonghan’s vehement shake of the head is surprising, and it stings. more than you expected. “no.”
you can quite literally feel your face fall, staring at him without pretence. “what?”
he looks up from the box he’s packing, an uncharacteristic seriousness in his brown eyes. “ask me why,” he instructs softly.
you swallow thickly. it’s hard not to, when he’s looking at you like that — warm and familiar and intense and scary, all at once. your eyes follow the strand of dark hair that falls over his forehead, suddenly realising just how close he is. “why?”
jeonghan sets down the tape, tilting his head to the side, choosing his words slowly, carefully. “because if i ever ask you to move in with me again, it’ll be very different to this. can you pass me the scissors?”
you barely even hear the last part. “different? different how?”
“just… different.” he shrugs, reaching over you for the scissors himself. “you’ll be dating me, for one thing.”
time seems to come to a halt when he says those words, and you barely manage a whisper — “what?”
jeonghan rolls his eyes and pokes your forehead. “i’m trying to say i’m in love with you, dipshit. can you please take a hint?”
you malfunction. it’s late and your brain is already fried enough from finals and he’s staring at you, and this isn’t a dream, this is real.
and so you launch your roll of tape in his direction.
“what the fuck is wrong with you?”
jeonghan doesn’t even need to dodge the tape, but still gapes at you. “what?”
“you can’t— just drop a love confession like a — like a hot potato, and then expect me to catch it!”
“a hot potato?” he repeats, and then he’s biting down on a laugh, shoulders shaking. “did you just call my love confession a fucking hot potato?”
“no! yes, well — ” you flounder, confused in your embarrassment. “oh my god. you’re so mean. i wasn’t ready.”
jeonghan’s still laughing. “if i’d warned you in advance, what would you have answered?”
and now it’s your turn to stare him down: “you didn’t ask anything yet. what am i supposed to answer?”
that only tilts jeonghan’s smile further upward, and he scoots closer, leaning on one arm. you can smell him, soft and fresh and so incredibly near, as he speaks — “you’re smart. i think you can work it out.”
you kiss him first. quick and sweet, over and over. you think it’s probably answer enough.

gentle reminder to air-dry your fleece clothing and wash it in cold water if you want it to stay nice and soft <3
(fleece is made out of synthetic fibers that will quite literally deform/melt in the heat of a dryer! and no you can't really see it but it's one of the things that makes it pill and get rough and scratchy.
"no dryer" also goes for most items of clothing with graphics. tbh I don't know the exact reason behind that one, I think it depends on how it was printed on, but both my and friends' experience has proven dryers will fuck graphics up, and manufacturers will tell you the same)

I'm gonna miss my apartment because I'm going to miss living on my own, being entirely surveilled, and having space that is 100% mine (as far as a rental goes), and there are some great perks like the in-unit laundry and convenience factor of being to walk or take transit anywhere I could possibly need to go. But also fuck this place, there are issues I've had since the beginning and more I've discovered since, and I'll be glad to be rid of them.
#whoever designed/built a) the kitchen b) the closets and c) the ventilation system for the laundry and bathroom:#drop your location i just wanna talk#mainly to ask how you could possibly have lived to adulthood with such a complete lack of intelligence + planning skills + spatial awarenes#the kitchen is constantly a problem - not only for daily use but for storage as well#the closets seem like they were built by someone who has never seen a coat hanger in their life and doesn't know the dimensions of one#and the ventilation system - whoever is responsible for connecting the laundry and bathroom directly to one fan and one set of ducts#and connecting the DRYER OUTLET to the same system ensuring that 99% of the dryer lint ends up in the ceiling ducts and IN MY BATHROOM#fuck you forever i'm going to fling you into the ocean if i don't kick your ass first#good riddance to this place i hope the landlord has a nightmare of a time fixing this up for his kid#i feel bad for the kid being caught in the crossfire but what can you do#still thinking about the oyster mushroom ploy........#ok that's my evil ranting for the night#august talking#i'd never get the payoff of learning if it worked and if it was a problem - but i didn't commit any of the bio-terrorism i could have when#worked at the lab so i deserve a treat#for legal reasons this is a joke#anyway that's my evil ranting done for the night just needed to get that out.#ultimately this will lead to better things for me but that doesn't mean i can't be angry and vindictive in the meantime

Vaggie: "???? You- IS THAT CHARLIE'S!?!?"
Angel Dust: "Goes good with the skirt, huh? If you two had a kid, they'd fucking SLAY."
Vaggie: "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU WEARING HER JACKET"

Husk: “You’ll have to fucking drag Niffty out first.”
Vaggie: “What.”
Charlie: “What?”
Angel Dust: “WHAT”
Husk: “She was crawling in head first when I left after waking up- uhh- after getting something.”

Grabbing the last item on your list for dinner tonight, you set the package of chicken into the basket you were carrying beside the other ingredients. Turning around, you were ready to head towards the checkout, wanting to hurry so you could get over to Matt’s and begin cooking dinner. You were eager to spend the evening with him, desperate not to waste anymore time at the grocery store. But you abruptly stopped in your tracks once the store around you began to spin at the slight movement, the aisles around you blurring in your vision. Raising a hand to your forehead, you closed your eyes and clenched your teeth, standing there and waiting for the dizzy spell to pass, your stomach churning faintly as you did.
It was a minute before you’d finally opened your eyes again, the brief wave of nausea finally subsiding. Blinking a couple of times, you frowned and rubbed your hand across your forehead in confusion. You'd been experiencing dizzy spells and nausea more frequently this week, hitting you at random when you were at work or trying to get something done around your apartment. Yesterday when you’d bent over to pull a load of laundry out of the dryer one time too many, you’d almost thrown up in your laundry basket. You’d been wondering if maybe you’d been coming down with something for the past couple of days now because of it.
With a sigh you decided that you might as well head over towards the pharmacy while you were already here and grab some vitamins. Maybe you were coming down with something–the flu possibly–and honestly, you really couldn’t afford taking sick days at work right now with everything going on at the office. You figured it wouldn’t hurt to take some multi-vitamins. Maybe they could help you circumvent coming down with something more serious later.
Making your way towards the pharmacy through the busy grocery store, you maneuvered around the crowds of others who had stopped in after work to grab something for dinner, too. Your mind was distracted as you walked, having been looking forward to tonight for the past couple of days now and anxious to get the hell out of here already. It had been difficult for you to focus on anything at work today because it had been so long since you and Matt had a night in together.
You were planning to spend the evening at his apartment tonight and make him one of his favorite meals–and truthfully, it was one of the only things that didn’t seem to turn your stomach lately. You had missed spending the occasional evening in with him. It had certainly been far too long since the pair of you had enjoyed a dinner together before curling up on the couch or in his bed; it had unfortunately been just as long since you’d both had a chance to be intimate together, too.
Over the past few weeks, Matt had increasingly promised you that he wouldn’t go out as Daredevil and would make time for you instead, but he never actually followed through on any of those promises. After the first few times he'd broken them on you, you'd quickly become disheartened and frustrated, wondering if this was just how things were between you now. You'd hoped that wasn't the case, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt because you knew he hadn’t been in many relationships in the past. But still, he only ever continued to repeatedly break promise after promise on you.
You’d known Matt was Daredevil for a while now; you’d known that when you'd both officially become a couple. You'd also known that he felt like he had a duty to protect the people of Hell’s Kitchen. That was something you’d fully understood when you’d first entered into a relationship with him. But it had quickly become a problem recently. One you didn’t think Matt fully comprehended the gravity of himself.
Usually, he’d go out a few nights of the week and stop in at your apartment to stay over with you when he’d finished his patrol. On the nights he didn’t go out, you’d usually stay over at his place and the pair of you would make dinner together before spending most of the evening in bed making up for lost time before actually falling asleep. Recently though, he’d been going out every single night as Daredevil. And he hadn’t been stopping by your place afterwards because you’d eventually learned that he was staying out until almost four in the morning, barely leaving himself time to sleep before he needed to be at the office for work.
He’d told you that there was something going on with a Russian mafia in Hell’s Kitchen and that he’d been worried about it. But over the weeks, you’d watched as he’d become absolutely consumed with tracking down the leader of the mafia. Sometimes you’d see him leaving right after he’d come back from the office on the nights he’d already promised to spend with you before he stayed out scouring rooftops into the early morning hours. You’d barely seen him in weeks because of his near obsession with this Russian mafia. And when you did see him, it was only briefly and he was exhausted, covered in bruises, and incredibly moody. When you’d tried to talk to him the other night, practically begging him to stay in–not even just for you, but for his own sake–he’d been grumpy about it. Though when you’d begun to cry he’d promised you relentlessly that he’d stay in Wednesday night–which was tonight–if you just let him focus on this problem for the previous couple of nights.
And you had agreed to that. Grudgingly.
Reaching the pharmacy section of the store, your eyes scanned the signs above each aisle, searching for the section you needed as your feet gradually took you past row after row in your search for vitamins. You wanted to grab something and get out of here already, but another twist of your stomach had bile briefly racing up your throat. You immediately stopped mid-step, eyes widening as you threw a hand over your mouth. Thankfully the feeling disappeared as fast it had appeared, the bile disgustingly making its way back from where it had come, but you were yet again left confused.
Even though you’d thought that maybe you were getting sick with how your body had been acting the past couple of days, you had to admit, you’d never experienced flu symptoms quite like this before. You weren’t running a fever and you hadn’t actually thrown up at any point. You weren’t exactly achy, either. Though you had noticed that your breasts had felt uncomfortable and sore lately, and your nipples had been vastly more uncomfortable rubbing against your bras than usual.
No, you didn’t really feel like you were coming down with the flu. You’d just felt…off.
It wasn’t until you’d returned to your search for vitamins, taking one more step before your eyes landed on the pregnancy tests all neatly lined on a nearby shelf, that the realization hit you. Freezing on the spot as your mouth instantly grew dry, it all suddenly seemed to make sense.
For the past couple of months you’d been struggling with staying consistent when it came to taking your birth control. You’d even found yourself wondering on multiple occasions if you’d accidentally missed days here and there between the stress of work and the stress of Matt gradually pushing you further and further away constantly being on your mind. You’d confided in him that concern multiple times, too, telling him that you were considering going on a different type of birth control, one that you wouldn’t have to think about. And though he knew you hadn’t switched to anything else yet, he’d never seemed remotely concerned about the possibility of an accidental pregnancy. So the pair of you had continued to have unprotected sex–but looking back on that decision right now, you felt incredibly, absurdly stupid. Though in your defense, you’d thought things had been going well between you both. Matt had asked you to move in with him shortly before he’d become so absorbed in this Russian mafia’s nefarious activities, and he’d even often assured you that if something were to ever accidentally happen, he’d always be there for you.
But now, here you were, quite possibly pregnant because you’d been so goddamn stupid and careless.
“Fuck,” you whispered under your breath.
Forcing your feet to move, you headed into the aisle, your eyes focused on the plethora of various pregnancy tests in different shades of blues and pinks. When you came to a stop in front of the shelf, you quickly tried to remember when you’d last had your period, eyes squinting as you thought back. Gasping a moment later, you realized it had been just over a month since you could last recall having it. Wincing at that knowledge, you once again cursed quietly to yourself, panic slowly beginning to settle inside of you.
For a moment all you could do was stand there staring at the selection of pregnancy tests feeling absolutely overwhelmed and terrified. Fighting the urge to start crying in the middle of the aisle, you focused on just picking one out. Eventually you grabbed a test that promised early accuracy, the box containing three tests inside. You knew from a coworker who had been trying to conceive with her husband that you couldn’t exactly go back to your apartment right now and take one. If you were pregnant, you’d be quite early, and you knew the tests were the most accurate if you used them first thing in the morning.
Which unfortunately meant you’d have to go over to Matt’s tonight and pretend everything was fine. And you knew that would be difficult with his heightened senses scanning over you, picking up on any little thing that was off. You could never get anything past him. Though maybe his distraction with the Russians would work in your favor for just this one thing tonight.
Hurrying out of the aisle as you tossed the box into your basket, you made your way to the checkout. While you waited in line, gnawing on your thumbnail nervously, you wondered if Matt’s senses could detect pregnancy tests. Would he know what was in the bag with the groceries or could you pass it off as something else? A box of tampons or something? Surely if you told him it had something to do with your period he wouldn’t push and he wouldn’t detect a lie, right?
By the time you’d purchased all your items, you were rushing the two blocks over to Matt’s apartment, moving faster than you ever had through the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. Unfortunately the nausea had returned as soon as you stepped out of the elevator and onto his floor, making your stomach turn uncomfortably as you headed down the hallway and towards his apartment door. You honestly couldn’t tell if the nausea was from nerves or from whatever had been going on with you at this point, you just hoped Matt wouldn’t notice it. You’d already figured there was no point in telling him that you might be pregnant tonight and freaking him out if you didn’t know for certain yet.
Eventually you found yourself in front of Matt’s door, your eyes staring at the apartment number on the outside of it. Shaking out your arms and shoulders, you tried to regain your composure, forcing a smile onto your face. Curling your hand into a fist, you reached up and knocked on Matt’s door. It was a moment before you heard the sound of heavy footfalls coming through the apartment, making their way towards you. Frowning, your eyes narrowed as all of your thoughts shifted from the fear of possibly being pregnant to how those footsteps didn’t sound like Matt’s bare feet.
The door swung open a moment later just a fraction, Matt’s confused expression peering at you from around it. You noticed he had a cut on his forehead that hadn’t been there last night and your frown deepened at the sight of it.
“Sweetheart?” he asked. “What’re you doing here?”
Mouth dropping open, you gaped at him as your brows pulled tight together on your forehead. His question had the same effect as if he’d just slammed his fist into your stomach, knocking the air out of you. Surely he hadn’t forgotten about his plans with you once again, had he?
“I was coming over to make dinner,” you answered him slowly, irritation quickly lacing your tone. “Because you’d said you were staying in tonight with me. Remember? I picked up everything to make your favorite meal after work.”
His head canted more to the side, his eyes pinching tight as if he was trying to recall the plans. Your heart sunk to the floor as you bit your lip, nodding slowly in resignation.
“You forgot again, didn’t you?” you deadpanned.
“Yeah, I’m–I’m sorry, sweetheart,” he said in a rush. “I was actually about to go out. I overheard something big happening tonight on my way home from work and I need to be there. I think I might actually get the information I’ve been looking for tonight.”
“Or you could just, you know, leave Mahoney a tip and let the police and proper authorities deal with this tonight,” you suggested dryly. “Give it a rest for one night. Let your body recover. Spend time with your girlfriend that you’ve barely seen in weeks .”
Matt frowned at you, opening the door further as he asked you to step inside. You hesitated for a second before you did, stepping past the threshold and rolling your eyes at the sight of him already dressed in everything except the helmet of his red suit. It hurt to know he’d probably have slipped out of the apartment if you’d only arrived a few minutes later, leaving you knocking at his door with no answer.
“You know this is what I do,” Matt reminded you. “I’ve never kept it a secret from you.”
“Yeah, I know,” you agreed, unable to hide your annoyance. “But usually you had a better work-vigilante-life balance than you’ve had recently, Matt. You’re like a dog with a goddamn bone lately. You’re not even taking care of yourself. Have you even been eating lately? Sleeping?” You gestured a hand to his bruised and cut face. “Tending to your injuries and recovering?”
Matt’s lips thinned out as he focused on the floor, the muscle twitching in his cheek. You’d annoyed him with this line of questions. Again . As if your care and concern for him was really that irritating for him to hear. The thought of that only angered you further.
“I’m fine,” he said firmly. “And I’ll make it up to you tomorrow night. I promise. I’ll even cook for you.”
You scoffed in annoyance, shaking the bags in your hand. Matt’s face darted in the direction of them, his head tilting a few times as he seemed to observe the contents within the bags.
“I already picked things up for dinner, Matt,” you snapped. “Hurried over to the grocery store right after work and everything. Because we had plans .”
“Okay, you’re right, I’m sorry,” he told you. “I swear I’ll make it up to you tomorrow night. Spend the whole night in with you. I’ll cook the meal meant for tonight and you can relax with a glass of wine while I do. I’ll clean everything up. And then afterwards–” he continued, shooting you a devilish grin that only had your blood boiling, “–I’m all yours. For the whole night.”
Fist tightening around the grocery bags in your hand, you could feel your nails biting into your palm. That wasn’t exactly what you wanted, and if you were being honest, it felt like another empty promise. But you figured you’d have to give him one more chance. Because if those pregnancy tests came back positive tomorrow morning, you’d need to see him to tell him that news anyway.
“You do realize I’m pissed, right?” you pointed out.
He nodded solemnly, the grin slipping off his face. “Yes and I’m sorry. I really am,” he told you.
Grinding your teeth together, you ran your left hand over your forehead. You felt like crying and screaming simultaneously right now. Though you figured neither of those reactions would actually manage to keep Matt here with you tonight, not with whatever it was he was so desperate to go out and deal with.
“Fine,” you ground out through your teeth. “Tomorrow night, Matt. Don’t break another promise to me, please .”
He nodded quickly, smiling his usual charming smile back at you. “I won’t, you have my word, sweetheart,” he assured you. “I’m all yours tomorrow night.” He stepped forward, planting a brief, barely there kiss on your forehead. “I love you,” he whispered.
You stood there dumbfounded and speechless, watching as he didn’t even wait for a response. He simply spun around, hurrying over towards his coffee table and grabbing the helmet off of it that you must have interrupted him from putting on moments ago. He didn’t even give you a backwards glance or another word, darting over to the stairs and taking them to the roof access two at a time as he pulled the helmet over his face, obscuring his identity.
And then he was out the door, leaving you standing there alone in his apartment with the grocery bags full of what was supposed to have been tonight’s romantic dinner in your hands.
“Love you, too,” you whispered to the empty room, not even certain he’d been listening outside.
Shoulders dropping in defeat, you made your way into his kitchen and over to the fridge. Pulling the door open, you saw how empty it was inside–more bare than usual even. Shaking your head at how little he’d been taking care of himself recently, you began to unload the groceries into his fridge, wondering if you really would be eating dinner with him tomorrow like he’d once again promised, or if he'd break it and your heart in one night.
Tumblr media
All day long your heart had been in your throat, pounding so vigorously that it constantly left you feeling like you were going to somehow choke on it. It’d been like that ever since you’d woken up early this morning and pissed into a disposable cup that you’d had left over from your apartment warming party earlier this year–a time where you and Matt had certainly been happier together. You’d opened up all three pregnancy tests afterwards, putting each one in the cup for the allotted time that the instructions had said. And you’d certainly read them meticulously, going over them at least five times before you’d used them, wanting to make sure the results were accurate.
All three came back with two pink lines that were impossible to miss.
You’d nearly thrown up right then on the spot, terrified of being pregnant when you hadn’t planned on it. You were even more terrified at the prospect of telling Matt the news, even if he had always told you that he'd be there for you. You really didn't want to be alone, not in something like this.
Though you knew his lifestyle certainly didn’t lend itself to him being a father–especially lately with how he was always out nearly all night pushing his body harder than he should’ve been. He certainly hadn’t been there for you much himself lately, either. How the hell was he going to handle finding out he was actually going to be a father? Could he actually be one with the way he kept prioritizing the people of Hell’s Kitchen above everything else, including his own well being? Because with how he’d been acting the past few weeks, breaking promise after promise to you, you weren’t so sure anymore. You weren’t even so sure of your relationship with him at this point, or what he even thought of it himself considering how little he’d been invested in it over the past few weeks.
Now here you were, once again standing just outside of his apartment door, struggling to find the courage to knock on it. And the fact that you’d been standing here for a few minutes wringing your hands and he had not even come to the door to answer it only meant one of two things. He was either distracted and getting ready to go out as Daredevil again, having forgotten once more about his plans with you, or he’d already gone out.
With a trembling hand, you forced yourself to finally knock on the door. If Matt didn’t answer then you supposed you’d have your answer on what he thought about the relationship. Still, that didn’t stop the way your hand continued to shake as you knocked, three loud, sharp raps ringing out that you knew he couldn’t possibly miss. Sucking in a breath, you held it as you waited anxiously for the sound of his footsteps.
It was only seconds later when you heard them, grimacing when they neared the door. They sounded far too heavy to have been his bare feet. They had to have been his boots, though you desperately hoped he just hadn’t taken off his dress shoes yet. Maybe he’d gotten home from work late. Your heart pounded harder in your chest as you clung to that hope.
The door swung open just a bit, revealing Matt’s face once again peering around it. He only ever hid around the side of the door when he was in his suit, trying to hide the evidence of his alter ego from the sight of his neighbors. But he at least had the nerve to look abashed and apologetic this time. Maybe he hadn’t forgotten he'd made plans with you, but from the bit of red peeking out behind the door, you knew what his plans had actually been for the night.
“Hey, come on in, sweetheart,” he said softly.
Jaw tight, you wrapped your arms across your chest and stepped inside past him. You could feel your chest tightening as you looked over your shoulder, watching as Matt closed the door after you and giving you plenty of time to examine him in his red suit. He once again had everything already pulled on except for his helmet, which a quick glance over to the living room proved was sitting out expectantly on his coffee table. You hugged your arms tighter around your chest, eyes dropping dejectedly down to the floor. You supposed you’d had your answer now, even if you hadn’t voiced the question.
Daredevil and Hell’s Kitchen meant more to him than you or this unborn child probably would. And you figured they probably always would mean more to Matt.
And that fucking hurt.
Your vision blurred as tears began to well in your eyes. Hands balling tighter into fists, you could feel the faint tremble beginning in your knees. You had a feeling this wasn't going to end well, one way or another. Because you certainly couldn't stand to be treated like this any longer, especially not if you were going to be having a child, and he certainly didn't seem to care about how he had been treating you.
“Sweetheart,” Matt began carefully, “I know I promised to stay in tonight. I know that. But there’s a meeting going on tonight with the Russians. I might be able to disrupt it if I leave here soon.”
You sniffled, trying to stop the tears from falling. The sound caused Matt to wince, his head snapping towards you instantly. He reached a hand out to your shoulder, clearly intending to try and comfort you, but you abruptly twisted out of his reach, uncaring if the gesture hurt him. He’d already hurt you plenty already.
“Sweetheart, I’m sorry,” he apologized.
“No you’re not,” you grit out, glaring up at him. “Stop saying that, Matt. You’re not sorry or you wouldn’t keep breaking your promises to me.”
His dark brows drew together on his face, his head canting to the side. He actually looked confused and for some reason that only had you wanting to laugh–though you didn't.
“Of course I’m sorry. Do you think I like hurting you?” he asked.
“Then stop doing it, Matt,” you openly begged. “Take off the suit. Stay in with me tonight. Hell, stop by the precinct long enough to just give Mahoney a tip for the meeting and then come back, even. But–” you swallowed hard, a lump forming in your throat as you felt the tears threatening to spill, “–don’t break another promise to me, Matt. Not tonight. Please . I am actually begging you this time.”
Matt inhaled a sharp breath, his lips thinning as he gazed down at you. A second later his gloved hands landed on his hips, something you knew he did when he was frustrated. The first tear slipped down your cheek at the sight, watching as his weight shifted back and forth between his feet.
“Sweetheart,” Matt began, an edge to his tone, “you know this is what I do. You’ve always known that. Always. And you agreed to be with me anyway.” He waved a hand at his suit, his eyes narrowing back at you. “This is a part of me. A part of my life. It isn’t going anywhere.”
"I know that, Matt," you told him, voice breaking as you spoke, more tears streaking down your face. "But this? Going out every night? Not sleeping or eating? Not giving your body time to heal? That isn't good for you. And the way you've been neglecting our relationship–"
"I have not been neglecting it, sweetheart," he said dryly, cutting you off.
You startled at his tone, gasping in surprise. Matt had never spoken to you like this before, and certainly not when you'd been so visibly upset. There was no way he couldn't tell the tears were rolling down your cheeks right now, no way he couldn't tell that you were crying.
"There are things going on in Hell’s Kitchen that I need to deal with," he continued roughly, his face firm as he spoke. "And that's exactly what I'm going to do tonight."
"Matt," you began softly, trying to fight the tremble in your voice, "I told you at lunch there was something important I needed to tell you tonight. To talk with you about."
He shifted again on his feet, his hands tightening on his hips. His lips pressed further together in irritation, his eyes hardening back at you in a way that didn't feel like the Matt you'd always known. He looked cold and unyielding right now.
"Then you can tell me later tonight, after I deal with this," he told you.
"It's important , Matt," you pushed. "We need to talk. We need to–"
"And it'll still be important later," he snapped, turning and heading down the hall towards his living room. "I need to go. I don't have time to argue with you right now."
His words hit you hard, your arms hugging around yourself even tighter. Was he really going to prioritize this city over you again ?
You hurried down the hall after him, watching as he snatched his helmet from off the coffee table. You could feel your panicked pulse jumping in your throat as you wiped the back of your hand across your damp cheeks. You needed to try to get him to listen. He needed to know what you'd found out this morning–that you were pregnant with his child. You didn't want to be alone figuring things out right now, not after discovering just how much your life was changing only this morning. You wanted Matt to hold you and tell you everything would be alright. That he'd meant it when he said before that he would be there for you.
You didn’t want to be alone. Not right now. Not with this.
"Matt, stop, please," you pleaded again. "Stay and talk to me." You swallowed hard, wincing as your next words came out sounding so weak and broken. "I need you."
He spun on his heel towards you, the movement so abrupt that you startled and stumbled a step back. Your eyes instantly widened in shock at the anger reflecting back at you, the set of his features more of the Devil than your usual sweet Matty.
"I'm not doing this right now!" he snarled at you. "This city needs me, too. If you want to talk, you can wait for me here until I get back. Otherwise–" he snapped, throwing a hand towards the apartment door, "–you know where the door is, sweetheart. Feel free to leave!"
Your mouth fell open in shock at his words, entirely speechless as you gaped back at him. He pulled the helmet on over his head, covering the anger in his eyes but not the sneer on his mouth–the same mouth that had only ever curled into loving smiles at you previously.
"You can't be serious," you whispered.
" Completely ," he growled at you. "Feel free to leave like everyone else that can't accept me for who I am."
"Matt, that's not–"
"I'll be back later," he said, tone suddenly indifferent as he turned and made his way towards the stairs. "Be here or don't. That's on you."
The tears began to spill down your cheeks faster at his words, a hand flying over your mouth to muffle the sob that slipped out of you. Matt continued on his way up the stairs, his focus only on the door to the roof. He didn't make any attempt to comfort you or to keep you here. No attempt to apologize or to show his willingness to listen to you or your needs. He didn't do anything other than walk out that door and let it close with a loud bang behind himself.
A strangled sob slipped out of your lips as you stumbled backwards again, overcome with a surge of emotions as the tears continued to burn hot trails down your cheeks. Your arms slid down your chest, wrapping lower around your abdomen. Gaze dropping down towards it, another whimper left you. Somewhere in there was Matt’s child. And it felt like he couldn’t have cared in the least–about you or what you had needed to tell him. Not with the way he'd just walked out on you like that.
Which meant he probably wouldn’t even have cared if you had broken the news to him. If he’d given you a moment to tell him that you were pregnant, you were sure he’d still have stormed off into the night. He’d still have believed he was needed more in Hell’s Kitchen than by you and this unborn child. Which left you feeling exactly the way you didn’t want to be feeling.
Alone.
Spinning on your heel, you hurried back down his entryway hall before flinging his apartment door open. The sound of your own sobs filled your ears as you slammed the door shut behind yourself. As you stepped out into the hallway, you hoped Matt heard the way it had banged shut. Hoped it hurt him as much as he'd just hurt you. Because no matter what he said, he was the one who’d chosen to walk out the door first– not you.
But if that’s the way he wanted things, you weren’t going to beg him anymore. He could have his beloved city. You had other things you needed to focus on. Like finding an obstetrician and picking up prenatal vitamins. Figuring out what to expect during pregnancy and how the hell you were going to raise a child by yourself in New York City. Because you were certain Matt wouldn’t be in the picture, not in any way that would actually help you. And while you knew you didn’t have the heart to keep your child from their father, you still had almost nine more months before Matt really needed to know the truth.
You pushed the button for the elevator at the end of the hall, wiping your hands across your cheeks. It hurt you more than he'd ever know for you to have walked out that door tonight, but you also knew you deserved better. Knew that he wouldn't be any help to you while you were pregnant, not with the way he'd been acting. He'd only make everything more complicated and difficult for you. You'd tell him eventually, when you'd had time to cool off and to try to get over him and this failed relationship. After you’d had time to figure things out when it came to having this baby. You'd make sure he eventually knew the truth before the baby was born, but right now you needed to accept that you were on your own and that things were over with Matt.
So to hell with the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.

James Potter x whimsical!reader ♡ 986 words
James comes home to find all of his pants on the floor.
“Unless I’ve started sleepwalking,” he says, and you look up at the sound of his voice from where you’re crouched next to one pair of jeans, apparently digging through his pockets, “I’m fairly sure I put these away after I took them out of the dryer last night.”
“Oh, don’t worry,” you reassure him in that quiet, breezy way of yours. “You did. If you were sleepwalking, I would tell you.”
James waits a second for you to elaborate, then realizes how foolish that is of him. “Then what are they all doing on the floor, my love?”
“It’s the first day of the waxing moon.” Coins clink in your palm as you remove it from his pocket, and then—to James surprise—simply submerge your hand in the opposite pocket, dropping the change in. “You keep a lot of money in your pants, did you know? It’s lucky the dryer didn’t shake it all out.”
Actually, he had found a few coins after taking out his laundry the night before, but apparently there’s still some left over in his deep pockets. “What does the moon have to do with anything? And are you robbing me? If so, you’re doing a horrible job, sweetheart.”
You sit back, setting your bum on your heels, and smile at him in that indulgent way you do when you think he’s being silly. It emits a soft glow, and James can’t help but squat in front of you, pecking you on the lips in belated greeting.
You kiss him back without complaint, lips soft and pliant and curved against his. “You switch your coins to the opposite pocket for good fortune during the waxing moon, Jamie. You can’t tell me you haven’t done it before.”
“I can tell you most certainly that I haven’t,” he promises, tucking a hand behind your ear to cradle your head. You lean into the touch absentmindedly even as your lips draw into a little frown.
“Then how did your family get to be so rich?” you muse softly.
It takes some effort for James to smother the laughter that rises in his chest, turning it into a pensive hum. “I suppose they might’ve always known and just kept it a secret from me. My mum did say she wanted me to make my own way in the world.”
“Oh.” You nod, certainty restored to your countenance. “That’s it, then. Not very considerate of them not to give you the tools for success, but I suppose every parent has their own ideas about those things.”
James only hums again, lips curving of their own volition. “Anything else we need to do tonight to accommodate the waxing moon, darling?”
You laugh, the sound light and lovely as the tinkling of wind chimes. “Jamie, the waxing moon lasts for fourteen days. We’ve got two weeks for everything we want to do.”
“Oh, how silly of me.” He grins at you, stealing another quick kiss. “Everything, you say? What might that be?”
“Well,” you say, returning to your task with the next pair of pants closest to you, “the waxing moon helps draw good things toward you. Like fortune” —you hold up a sparse palmful of coins for him to see before transferring them to the other pocket— “or a good harvest, or new love, or new job—didn’t you say you were thinking about asking for a promotion? This would be a good time.”
“Maybe,” James replies with due consideration, but truly his mind has gotten snagged on one idea and not let go. “Love, eh?” He grins at you, reaching to wrap his hands around your waist and sliding you across the floor to him. “Should I be prepared to feel extra besotted for the next couple of weeks?” You smile and lean your head onto his shoulder to look up at him, going lax in his embrace. You’re a rather placid thing by nature, but he knows you secretly love it when he manhandles you like this. You go all soft and cloudy-eyed, and even now, you certainly seem far from scolding him for interrupting your task. “I’m pretty far gone already,” he says, just to hammer it home, “so I’m not sure how much worse it can get.”
He’s rewarded with a light flush across the tops of your cheekbones. “It’s new love, Jamie,” you correct him. “The waxing moon doesn’t affect love that already exists.”
“Oh, I see.” He narrows his eyes down at you. “So this is your opportunity to ditch me for some new bloke, is that it?”
The adoration doesn’t leave your gaze, but you shrug. “I’m not manifesting that, so I suppose it’s up to the moon to decide.”
Some of the levity leaves him. “Wait, so if some other guy said he was drawn to you by the waxing moon, you’d consider it?”
You let your head weigh heavily on his shoulder, pursing your lips slightly in contemplation. “I suppose I’d at least hear him out. It’s powerful magic during this time, you know? I’d at least be curious what drew him. Or them, you never know.”
Now James is the one who’s frowning. “That’s not very reassuring, sweetheart.”
You seem to come back to yourself, eyes focussing on his again and a small smile returning to your lips. “Don’t worry, Jamie.” You lean up to kiss him before slipping free of his hold, going to find another pair of jeans to dig through. “I’d obviously wait until the clarity of the full moon to decide on anything.”
“Obviously,” James echoes, feeling somewhat dazed as he stands. “Um, angel? If you meet someone who tells you the moon sent them to you, would you at least let me know? I think if I tell Sirius about it, you may find they don’t stick around until the full moon anyway.”

Can I request one with Leah boyfriend vibes where she's like an annoying teenage boyfriend to the point where we get really mad at her and she gets super soft until we're all right back and then she just goes back to annoying us like always
I feel like that's literally Leah. That cocky smile does things to me
I really love your work 🫶🥹

teenage love II l.williamson
"honey i'm hoome!" you heard your girlfriend sing out sarcastically as her keys jingled in the front door. "hi baby." you greeted happily, the girl dropping her kit bag by the front door. "oh leah get off you're all sweaty!" you whined in disgust as she wrapped you in a hug, just having finished training for the day.
"training went really really well, thank you for asking baby that's so kind of you to care how my career is going." the taller girl sighed dramatically, refusing to loosen her grip on you as you struggled to get away. "go have a shower." you finally pulled away, shoving her off you as the blonde only grinned.
"you secretly love it." she blew you a kiss and a sharp slap echoed around the room as she smacked your bum before jogging upstairs before you could tell her off for it.
with a roll of your eyes you disapeared back into the laundry, folding your girlfriends clean washing and humming along to the song playing from your phone tucked in your back pocket. you didn't hear leah return however a pile of dirty clothes landing on your head certainly alerted you to her presence.
"seriously?" you turned quickly with a glare and yanked them off, throwing them at her in distaste as she only gave you a cheeky smile and moved next to you to load them into the machine.
"you're so annoying." you grumbled under your breath, smacking her hands away as they poked at your side and she was momentarily distracted by fiddling around with the settings of the washer.
"oh my god move i'll do it." you sighed in frustration, pushing her to the side and setting up the machine, clicking for it to began the cycle, glaring at the blonde over your shoulder as she once again smacked your bum with a cheeky smile.
"even though i know that you know how to use the washer." you warned her as she pulled herself to sit up on the dryer, well aware leah only pretended not to know how to do things knowing you'd just take over and do them for her.
"excuse me babe i don't take lightly to these heinous accusations." the blonde gasped, clutching a hand to her chest as you ignored her and went back to folding her clean clothes.
"don't." you warned as your girlfriend kicked you lightly from behind, swinging her long legs as she remained perched on the dryer with a grin. you bit your tongue as she did it again and again, hoping she'd get bored and leave if you just ignored her, which usually worked since she had the attention span about as long as a blink.
you got your wish as she hopped down from the dryer, kissing your cheek sweetly as she passed by. though the nice moment was ruined as she pushed over the neatly folded stack of clothes, sprinting out of the room as they toppled to the floor.
"leah!" you yelled after her, dragging your hands down your face with a groan. "honestly and she's supposed to be older?" you muttered to yourself with a huff as you shoved her clean clothes into a basket.
"here's your clothes and your kit for tomorrow, fold them or leave them on the floor. i don't care!" you dumped the basket upside down beside the blonde on the lounge. "oh these are so warm, how did you know i was cold?" the taller girl made a point to lay down among the pile of clothes with a content sigh.
you bit the inside of your cheek as she smiled at you smugly, turning on heel and walking away, determined not to give her the satisfaction of your annoyance, you could swear she was a sixteen year old teenage boy and not a twenty six year old woman.
how she could switch from being so serious and stone faced on the pitch to sometimes the most infuriatingly immature human being you've ever met was a mystery you were yet to solve. she was lucky she was so annoyingly attractive and you were so in love with her or else you may have covered up her murder by now.
having a rare moment of peace you put away your own clean clothes in the bedroom, hearing the occasional pelt of your girlfriends laughter from downstairs as she entertained herself with a movie.
with a sigh you put away the trainers she'd tossed around the room when trying to decide which pair to wear today, full well knowing it would be you who tripped over them in three days time when they were still there.
you let out a loud scream as the tall blonde zapped you in the ribs from behind, you'd not even heard her come up. "don't do that!" you breathed out shakily, shoving her away with a glare. "i'm sorryyy." she sung out, pulling you into a hug as you kept your arms by your side.
"oh baby you've forgotten how to hug. well look we get these, and we put them here-" the girl grabbed your wrists, wrapping your arms around her back. "and then we squeeze!" you yelped as she suddenly picked you up off the ground, forcing you to cling onto her tightly.
"-and thats how you hug, you're welcome." the girl smirked, her hands gripping your thighs holding you up.
"you're insufferable you know that?"
~
"oo can i have a sandwich please babe?" you asked politely as your girlfriend returned to her spot beside you on the lounge, your errands for the day finally done meaning you could relax.
"sure. the bread is over there, and the ham is in the fridge." leah answered with a mouthful of food, pointing over her shoulder, eyes zoned in on the tv as you scoffed. "you're literally the worst." you smacked her leg hard and stood to your feet.
"oh thank you." your own sandwich that you made was snatched from your hand as you sat back down, leah taking a large bite as you stared at the smirking blonde in disbelief. you launched yourself at her as she laughed and held it out of reach, easily a good foot or two taller than you were.
"do you really want to do this? you know i'll win." leah grinned as you tried to grab your food back, climbing practically on top of her. "gimme it! god you're so annoying!" you grunted, leah taking another bite of the sandwich to spite you as she pushed you easily away with her free hand.
"leah!" you glared as she pressed her foot to your chest, long legs holding you off as she continued to eat your sandwich. "okay i have had enough!" you snapped, shooting to your feet as your girlfriend took the final bite, making a point to lick her fingers clean.
"you are always going out of your way to wind me up, you purposefully do the most basic tasks wrong so that i have to do them, you can't pick up after yourself, i do all the cooking and the cleaning, you lick your fucking finger and shove it in my ear, you-" you continued to rant, leah simply watching you with a cocky smile and her arms folded over her chest, man spreading arrogantly as she always did.
"what the fuck are you smiling at?" you spat, face twisted into a murderous glare with your fists balled by your sides. "you, you're just so gorgeous." she complimented, taking you off guard a little as you came down to earth, un-clenching your hands and taking a deep breath.
"come here." the blonde chuckled, grabbing the waistband of your shorts and tugging you to sit on her lap. "i love you so very much my girl, and i appreciate everything you do for me. it doesn't go unnoticed and i'll make more of an effort to help out." leah spoke, rarely serious for once as you nodded.
"that would be nice, thank you." "but not all the time...you look way too fit when you're pissed off with me." "god you are annoying."

Eddie doesn’t understand how his laundry always gets done.
When he first moved in with Wayne, laundry was his chore to do, so he did his and Wayne’s every Saturday for years.
Then Wayne started doing his own, and Eddie did his own. When he remembered. Which was usually only when he was staring at empty dresser drawers and stacks of dirty clothes on his floor.
But since spring break, since Vecna, since the hospital stay, someone has been doing his laundry.
He thought it was Wayne at first, probably just happy to have Eddie alive at home and not caring about having to do extra loads to keep his clothes clean.
But then Wayne went away for five days to fill in at a plant in Chicago, and his laundry still got washed and put away.
The only people who’d been at his house were Dustin (no way he was doing laundry without expecting something in return), Robin (did she even know how to do laundry?), and Steve (he wasn’t exactly the type to just do an acquaintance’s laundry).
So who was it?
Of course, he found out exactly who it was because his washing machine broke in the most comical way possible.
It was barely six in the morning on Saturday, and Eddie was woken up by a loud bang, a yelled “FUCK ME!”, and a surge of electricity. He would’ve been more angry about being woken up if he didn’t run right into Steve when he opened his bedroom door to see what was going on.
“Uh. Hi?”
“Do not ask questions. Do not. But your washing machine is broken.”
“Okay?”
“Is Wayne gonna be home soon?”
“Should be within the hour.”
“Good. Okay. Good. He can fix it. Your favorite Metallica shirt definitely can be saved.”
“What do you mean?”
“Uh. It’s eating the clothes? Or trying to. I think I got most of them but the Metallica shirt is really in there.”
“Wait.” Steve?! This whole time is was Steve Harrington doing his laundry? “It’s been you.”
“What?”
“Doing my laundry. I was starting to think it was a leprechaun or something.”
“That’s really stupid. How would a leprechaun even be able to reach the knobs to start the cycle?”
Eddie couldn’t help it, he laughed. Steve was being so serious.
“Oh god, I love you.”
Oh. Wait a second. No. Not that. That’s not what he meant.
Steve’s face was so red, Eddie could swear he felt heat coming off of it even from more than a foot away.
“Um.”
“Sorry. Just. Well I don’t have an explanation for that one.”
“I know you didn’t mean it, it’s okay.”
“Wait.” Eddie was going to make this worse. He had to stop. “I did mean it. I just didn’t mean to say it out loud.”
“You love me? You barely know me. I just broke your washing machine and possibly ruined your favorite Metallica shirt.”
“I know you. And those are replaceable things. You’ve been doing my laundry Steve. You’ve brought my favorite beer once a week for months. You let me host Hellfire at your house even though you’ve never played and probably never will. You make us cookies! You let me pick the music in the car. You let me pick movies for movie night even though I know you hate what I pick. You’re at my house before the sun is up washing my dirty clothes in secret so I don’t have to. What’s not to fuckin’ love?”
“I guess…everything else?”
Eddie shook his head. He grabbed Steve’s hand and led him to the washing machine, smirking at the pile of still-wet clothes sitting in the dryer next to it and the Metallica shirt hanging out of the washing machine.
“That washing machine is older than Wayne possibly. You got one at your house, right?”
“Uh. Yeah.”
“Great. Put my stuff in a basket and let’s go to yours.”
Steve kept doing Eddie’s laundry. Every Saturday morning before he had to go to work, he threw their clothes into the washing machine at his house.
Eddie always watched from on top of the machine, giving Steve a kiss on the forehead when he was done.

Hi! , can I get a Travis fluff where he takes care of the kids by himself to give the reader time to herself maybe ..
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baby Laylah had only been in the world for a full 48 hours and the entire Kelce crew was already so in love. The family felt more complete than you ever thought was possible, and you couldn't wait to bring her home and enjoy this new phase of life.
While you were resting at the hospital with Laylah, getting your strength back up before you headed home in a couple of days, Travis was taking care of things back home with Alex and Savannah.
The house was uncharacteristically quiet for an late morning, Alex playing with his toys while Savannah took a nap, allowing Travis to clean up and do some laundry. He wanted everything to be perfect when you came home, so you didn't even get the chance to worry about anything besides yourself and the new baby.
"Daddy?" Alex found Travis in the laundry room as he was putting a load into the dryer. "What's up, bud?"
"When is Mama coming back?" Alex had the hardest time leaving you at the hospital yesterday afternoon. He's attached at your hip at this age, and he was in tears as Travis carried him to the car, asking if you were coming home with them.
"She'll be back in two days, Bubs. She has to stay with the doctors for a while so they can make sure she and baby sister are healthy."
Alex tipped his head to the side, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Is she sick?" Travis shook his head, picking Alex up as he walked to the living room. "No Bubs, she had a baby. Remember she we talked about Mama having a baby in her belly? Well now baby sister gets to come home and live with us."
"But I already have a sister. I don't need another one." Travis chuckled, rolling into full laughter when he saw how serious Alex was.
"Two sisters are way better than one. You have more sisters to play with, and another sister to love. We'll go visit Mama in a couple hours and you'll get to meet baby sister for the first time."
Alex jumped down from the couch, running over to his toy basket to pull out a teddy bear.
"Can I give this to baby sister? I don't play with it anymore, and I want to give her a present."
"Yeah, little man. That's a great idea. We can also get Mama some flowers before we go to the hospital. I know she'll love that."
****
You had just finished your last feeding when you heard the door open, Alex running into the hospital room. "Mama!" He bounced up and down on his feet at the side of your bed.
"Hi, my sweet boy! How are you?" Travis trailed behind him carrying a sleepy Savannah in his arms. "She fell asleep on the way here." He helped Alex onto the bed with his free arm. "Careful bud, Mama is still healing."
You peppered kisses all over Alex's face, making him giggle as he fell into your arms. "I missed you so much Bud. What did you guys do at home today? I wanna hear everything." Travis pulled a chair up to your bed, kissing you on the forehead as he sat down.
"Well, this morning we had breakfast, watched a little Paw Patrol, and then we did some laundry." You looked at both of them wide eyed. "Daddy did some laundry? Is it my birthday today?" You joked, making Travis laugh as he rolled his eyes. "You're too funny."
Alex was restless, sitting back on his heels as he looked around the room. "Can I see baby sister?I brought her a present."
"Of course baby. Travis could you get Lay?" Travis placed Savannah in your lap and got up to wheel Laylah's bassinet over to the family. She was a little milk drunk, her eyelashes fluttering as everyone looked at her.
"Oh, she's so beautiful!" Alex whispered, cupping his cheeks in adoration. "She looks just like Mama." Travis agreed, smiling at you. You felt your cheeks heat up, your face flushing as you winked at him.
"I brought her a toy." Alex pulled the teddy bear out of his backpack, handing it to you. "Oh Alex, this is so sweet. I know she's going to love it so much. Thank you, baby."
"We also get you something, babe. Alex picked them out." Travis handed you a huge bouquet of flowers, a combination of orchids, roses, and some of your other favorite flowers. You felt your eyes start to tear up as you took in the beautiful gesture, placing them on the side table. "Thank you both so much. I love both of the gifts from my guys."
Alex crawled over to you, noticing you had started crying. "Mama, why are you crying? Are you sad?"
You grazed his chin, pulling him gently into your lap. "No, I am so happy, Bubba. I've got everything I could ever want right now." You looked at Travis who was on the verge of tears himself. He grabbed your hand, squeezing your fingers to reassure you.

steddie | G | wc: 583 | appalachian eddie
a little something for @starrystevie bc it's a crying shame that snow ice cream/snow cream is largely an appalachian thing only
Tumblr media
"goddamn it."
eddie pokes his head out from the laundry room. "what's the matter?"
steve runs his hand through his hair and sighs. "there's at least a foot of snow out there," he says, walking down the hall toward him. "cars are covered, i'm gonna have to dig 'em out."
eddie crosses his arms over his chest as he leans against the door frame and watches steve pull his boots and coat from the hall closet. "you fixin' to go somewhere? be by yourself if you do, 'cause i ain't goin' out in that."
"no," steve rolls his eyes. "but it's just in case we have to. probably gonna have to shovel the driveway, too." he hops onto the dryer to pull his boots on and lace them up.
eddie goes down to the kitchen and comes back with one of their big blue plastic mixing bowls. "at least scrape the snow into this, will ya?"
steve frowns. "what's this for?"
"you'll see," eddie says with a grin, giving steve a peck on the lips and going back down the hall.
half an hour later, eddie hears steve on the porch stomping the snow off his boots. when he comes into the house, eddie makes a sympathetic noise at how red his boyfriend's face is and gently takes steve's cheeks in his hands, squishing and rubbing them to get them warmed back up.
"baby," steve says, his words muffled by eddie's ministrations. "baby, please, i can't feel my face."
eddie squishes steve's lips out and kisses him with an exaggerated mwah! "did you get my snow?"
steve holds out the bowl that's plum full of the powdery white goodness. "you gonna tell me what it's for? what's your little gremlin brain cooked up this time?" there's no trace of annoyance or malice in his tone, just unbridled fondness and affection.
"i'm 'bout to learn ya a thing, stevie," eddie says as he opens up cabinets and pulls out the small group of ingredients he needs. "been doin' this since i was a kid."
he lines everything up on the counter and presents it with a flourish. vanilla, sugar, and a small can of evaporated milk.
"we're gonna make snow ice cream."
"snow ice cream?"
eddie puts a tablespoon of vanilla in the bowl of snow and mixes it together with the sugar and milk until the snow is more of a beige liquid. "uh-huh. mamaw used to make it every year we got a good snow. she'd send me out to get it off the propane tank, because you never wanna get your snow from the ground. you want the stuff on the top that ain't been touched."
he gives it one more stir and pops the bowl into the freezer. "give it a couple hours to freeze back up and we've got sweet, creamy goodness."
steve watches all this happen from where he's stood leaning against the counter. "your way of growing up was so different than mine," he says. "i wish i had all these cool memories like you."
eddie steps up to him and wraps his arms around steve's waist. "i do have some pretty cool know-how's," he says, "but it wasn't always like that. it was pretty rough for us, too." he draws steve in for another kiss, softer and longer, and pats his cheek. "give me time, though, and it'll be like you were raised by mamaw herself, too."
steve smiles, all gooey and dopey. "i can't wait."

summary: when miguel loses gabriella’s favorite blanket, all hell breaks loose.
wc: 1k words
notes: gabriella is a daddy’s girl, i could give miguel the family he wants, beta read
beta reader comments: aww thats so cute, not Miguel got the credit
Tumblr media
Miguel was screwed. Utterly screwed. Your daughter Gabriella was having a fit because Miguel had lost her favorite blanket. Miguel was looking high and low, far and wide for this blanket. You still wouldn’t be home for another hour or so, so he was by himself. He holds Gabriella to his chest as he looks for her favorite yellow blanket.
“Shh, it’s okay. I’m gonna find your blanket, okay? Daddy’s gonna find it.” He says calmly, trying to soothe her panicked state. Miguel feels terrible seeing his little girl so upset, so he’s on a mission. Miguel is all but turning the house upside down looking for the blanket when he hears the click of the front door lock.
“Miguel? Gabby? Where are y’all?” You ask, a bit frantic at the sound of your daughter’s cries. You spot Miguel holding your daughter and looking frazzled as he whips his head left to right.
“What’s wrong with my baby?” You coo at your daughter, concern painting your features. Gabby lifts her head to look at you before making grabby hands at you, motioning for you to pick her up. You take her into your arms, making a face to ask Miguel ‘what the fuck happened?’
“Daddy can’t find my blanket!” She sobs, answering your question. Your face drops in panic. ‘You did what?!’ you mouth at him. Miguel grimaces. ‘I don’t know! It’s like it just vanished into thin air! I don’t know what to do!’ he mouths back frantically, shrugging. You roll your eyes, sighing as you rub your daughter’s back.
“It’s okay, mommy’s gonna help find it.” You kiss her temple before going to the third floor of your home, checking every room for that damned blanket. You start in the bedroom you and Miguel slept in, sitting your daughter on the bed as you frantically look under the bed, in your dirty clothes hamper, and in your closet to no avail. You grab your daughter and go across the hall to her old nursery, checking the crib, the empty diaper bag, and the dresser full of clothes she couldn’t fit anymore. You leave and go to the bathroom, checking anywhere a blanket could fit, all without success.
You go down to the second floor, first checking Gabriella’s playroom. You look in and behind her dollhouse, check her toy chest, inside her lego bucket, and her small bookshelf only to find nothing. You rush into her room, checking under her pillows, blanket, and bed. Next you go into her drawers, closet and dirty clothes hamper, just to see absolutely nothing. You check the second floor bathroom, doing the same thing you did on the previous floor.
Finally, you get to the first floor. You sit your daughter on the couch as you frantically search with Miguel once more, checking under the couch, under the table of your dining room, in your kitchen, and hall closet. You come back to your living room, plopping on the couch and sighing in defeat before an idea pops up in your head. You snap your head in your husband’s direction.
“Miguel, did you check the basement?” You ask. Miguel looks at you as if you’re crazy.
“The basement, why would I check-” Then it dawned on him. Since he had the day off, Miguel offered to take Gabriella to school and start laundry before the weekend began. Your laundry room was in the basement. The two of you rush down to your basement and Miguel opens the dryer to see the very catalyst for your daughter's distress. The two of you sigh in relief.
“Look Gabby, daddy has your blanket!” You say, pointing to an exhausted Miguel who was holding the yellow blanket. Gabriella’s cries cease almost immediately when she sees her blanket in her father’s hands. Miguel hands her the blanket with a kiss on her forehead.
“Thank you, daddy.” She says, wiping her tears and quickly grabbing the blanket before nuzzling her face into it. Miguel pinches her cheek gently with a small smile.
“Thank you, honey.” Miguel winks at you, kissing your cheek as he takes Gabriella into his arms. You roll your eyes playfully, a little bitter that your husband got all the credit for your idea.
You all walk back up the stairs together. Gabby’s face was smiley and satisfied, very different from the tired but fairly relieved expression you and Miguel shared.
“Mommy, I’m hungry. What’s for dinner?” Gabby asks poking you every other syllable. You shrug before playfully nibbling her finger, resulting in a fit of laughter from her.
“I don’t know girl, ask your father.” Miguel glares at you, resulting in you glaring back. Miguel quickly averts his eyes, visibly intimidated. Since becoming a mom, your death stare has gotten better. Sometimes you’d need it in the store when Gabby was about to have a temper tantrum and she would get it together immediately. Your daughter turns to Miguel.
“Daddy can we get pizza for dinner?” She asks, showing off her trademark large and sparkly puppy eyes. You had to give your daughter her props, she knew how to get what she wanted. She’s also learned that her father was in the palm of her hand fairly quickly. Miguel makes a pained face, clearly torn between not wanting to say yes and not wanting to tell his precious daughter no.
“Okay, I’ll order pizza.” Your husband sighs in defeat, he was no match for the big sparkly brown eyes your daughter had. Gabriella rejoices in victory, doing a little dance and a song.
“We’re getting pizza. We’re getting pizza.” She repeated constantly in a sing-song voice. Miguel rubs his temples, you figured it was a stress induced headache and that Gabriella wasn’t helping.
“Gabby.” You warn. She grins sheepishly before apologizing and continuing her dance quietly, humming her to her tune. You and Miguel laugh quietly at her run of the mill antics.
“That’s your dramatic ass daughter, Miguel.” You snort. Miguel shrugs, shaking his head.
“Sure is.” He grins as he orders the pizza online. After ordering, he tosses his phone onto the coffee table and leans back in his seat.

The Cherrywood Motel

Starry Haze, Crystal Ball
rockstar!Eddie x housekeeper!reader
masterlist
(a/n: ITS BACKKKK AND SO AM I!! Enjoy my lovelies and visit my blog for some life updates!)
warnings: soft eddie, smut, minors dni, oral (fem rec), p in v, cream pie x 2, riding, showering together, a jump from last chapter.
now playing:
You lug all your clothes into the laundromat down the street, heaving the heavy bag onto the table before you once you’ve made your way inside. The smell of bleach and laundry detergent mixes in your nostrils as you sort your piles of dirties.
It’s early in the morning, the only person in the place being you and an elderly woman. You enjoy the quiet, only the soft whirring of the dryers breaking the silence.
You separate your lights from darks, throwing your first load in when a familiar voice resonates through the quaint room.
“Shit- fuck,” you look over to see Eddie struggling with a bag of laundry. You chuckle to yourself, your eyes meeting his. His face lights up when he sees you.
“Hey stranger,” he breathes out as he settles in at the table next to you.
“Hi Eddie,”
Ever since Eddie woke up in your bed, things had been different. Eddie seemed happier, his demeanor not so jittery. You talked more, Eddie revealing more about his life.
You learned he was really a dork. Knows a little too much about horror movies, still plans D&D campaigns for fun, and collects mugs from every new place he goes.
He’s become softer, more himself in the last few days. You found yourself getting closer to him, his magnetic force drawing you in with every little conversation.
His captivating personality had you expressing more things about yourself, like your favorite flower, how you got the scar on your shoulder, and all about your childhood cat, Mr. Snuffles.
Talking to Eddie when he was sober was easy, he didn’t go on unnecessary tangents, he wasn’t as flirty and he looked oh so pretty when he was healthy.
His usual red eyes now pure, no sign of distress in them. He even started taking care of his hair, his usual frizzy locks now smooth and curly. He was doing better. You were proud of him.
“Didn’t think I’d be seeing you today,” he says, pulling out all of his clothes and settling them into a pile. He gathers them all in his arms, walking towards a washer.
“Aren’t you gonna sort them?” you ask, chuckling to yourself as Eddie struggles with the large amount of clothes he has in his hands.
“I never do?” he says as if it's almost a question.
“Well, I’m sure you have some 200 dollar shirts in there that are begging to be sorted,”
“My uh- lady at home usually does it. This is how I used to do laundry when I was a kid,”
You roll your eyes, motioning for him to come back to the table.
You sort his dirty clothes for him, it feels pathetic but the smile he has on his face as you help him makes it somewhat worth it.
“You’ve gotta sort lights from darks. I’d suggest separating your whites too but I don’t want you to keel over,”
He chuckles, grabbing the pile of darks and carrying them to a washer. He puts in his quarters, handing you some so you can start the pile of lights.
“So what are you up to for the rest of the day?” he questions as he strolls back to the tables where your clothes still lay.
“Nothing really, apartment hunting for a little bit and then back to the motel,” you gather your pile of clothes, turning towards the washers and placing the items inside. Eddie swoops in front of you and puts quarters in for you, you playfully roll your eyes but smile up at him nonetheless.
“Oooh, that should be fun,” he scratches at the back of his neck, “I uh- owe you for bailing me out so just let me know what you need for the security deposit and I’ll write a check,”
“Thank you Eddie, but you don’t have to. I lost your jacket, I bailed you out, were even,”
Eddie shakes his head, curls flying in all directions at the erratic movement.
“Someone stole my jacket from you, you didn’t just leave it for anyone to take. Plus I can,so let me,” he states, eyes locking with yours in a stare.
“Just let me, it’s the least I can do-” you nod your head, allowing the man to help you pay your way into a new apartment.
A feat that was easier said than done, you had looked at 5 separate places with Christa, none of them being anything close to what you wanted or needed.
You finally decide to call it quits and return back to the hotel, smiling when you see Eddie waiting outside your door with a pizza box in his hand. Christa sends you a wink as you get out of the car, a soft “enjoy yourself” falling from her lips.
Eddie grins widely when he sees you step out of Christa’s car.
“Sorry- thought you were home from your hunting,” he motions towards your car that is parked a few spots down from your door.
“Kinda got stuck at our last place. Creepy landlord,” you straighten out the pleats of your skirt as Eddie sucks in a breath in through his teeth, wincing dramatically.
“At least you dodged that bullet,” he says as he leans against the doorframe waiting for you to open it, his slim shoulders doing a good job at boxing you in. The smell of his cologne makes your mind whir, gone are the days of dried puke and alcohol.
You unlock the door, Eddie’s hand pushing it open forcing you to duck underneath his arm. He lets the door close softly behind him once he is inside, being sure to lock the deadbolt.
He places the pizza box on the small table by the window. He draws the curtains, blocking out the rest of the world and turning the room into a space that was only for the two of you.
“Got your favorite,” he motions to the box with his thumb as he walks up behind you. You’re stepping out of your shoes when Eddie’s arm snakes around your front, under your arm and resting on your collarbone. He’s come over every night since the cleaning fiasco, you talk about the ten-day-whirlwind that the two of you have embarked on and get to know eachother even more.
Eddie spends most of his time apologizing when you recall anything from the short time of knowing him, ashamed of how much he had hurt you.
It’s been a week of take-out, today bringing you to day seventeen. Ten days of hell and seven of something in between a raging fire and a rumbling earthquake- scalding your skin and shaking off the dust settled deep in your soul.
His arm comes undone from you, his hand tracing down your tricep, over your elbow, ghosting down your forearm, finally grasping your hand as he draws you towards the radio sitting in the corner of the room.
Eddie liked to dance- he twirled to what he called your “teeny bopper” music, he swayed his hips to country music, he even danced to his own music when you forced him to listen to it one night.
Eddie danced with you tonight- his fingers fit perfectly through yours, his hand rested right in the dip of your waist, his lips looked pretty in this light.
“Are you thinking about kissing me, sweets?” He questions, a smile forming on his lips as he leans forward. You blush nervously, nodding your head. His smile gets even wider before he leans in, lips capturing yours.
Both his hands come to cup your face, cheeks tugging and eyes crinkled as he leans in further. His other hand comes to rest on your hip, pushing backwards until your knees hit the back of the couch. You pull away, shifting from foot to foot as you wait for Eddie to take the reins. He chuckles softly before capturing your lips in another soft kiss before pulling away and plopping down onto the couch. He pulls you into his lap, kissing the corner of your mouth, then your cheek, then down your neck, all the way to your shoulder.
His eyes meet yours, his hands fumbling with the edge of your sweater. A plea on the edge of his lips as he looks up at you. You nod, letting him remove the garment from your body. He audibly moans at the sight, your breasts bouncing freely only leaving you in your skirt.
“Please tell me you have panties on,” he mumbles, hand snaking down to your center. He bites his lips and groans when he’s met with your sticky folds.
“S’ laundry day,” you giggle.
His fingers trace through your slick, he has half a mind to shove the fingers in your face, make you lick yourself off of him. But When he glances over your face, your pouting lips and furrowed brow send his heart racing. He decides right then that you're an angel. He thinks there’s no way you're real, there is absolutely no way you’re here with him.
He wraps his arm around your waist, standing from his place on the couch. He walks you back to the bed as you kiss up the side of his neck. He lands you on the middle, arms caging you in as he leans down to kiss you. He’s much slower this time, desperate clashing of teeth melting to well thought out movements.
You pull away from him, hands coming to mess with the edge of his old band tee.
“You’re much too dressed for the occasion, Mr. Munson,” you giggle out. He smiles down at you, getting up to strip out of his clothes. You hold your breath when he pulls down his boxers, his cock springing out and slapping against his belly. It’s big and you’re sure he knows it.
He crawls back up the bed, kissing from your ankle to your neck. He splays kisses across your face, finally meeting your lips in a sweet kiss.
His eyes bore into yours as he pushes some hair from your face before kissing you again, but he pulls away much too quickly for your liking.
“M’ gonna eat you out now, kay’?” he mumbles against your lips, you nod, throwing your head back as Eddie begins to kiss back down your body. He stops at the waistband of your skirt, mumbling something to himself before hooking his fingers in the band and pulling the fabric over your bottom.
He moans at the sight of your center, leaning forward to press a kiss to your thighs before diving in completely. He licks from your hole, up to your clit, tongue dancing around the bundle of nerves. Your knuckles grip the white sheets, mind reeling as he works you up to an orgasm. He laps at your pussy, pulling away to spit on his fingers.
His ringed fingers come to push through the sticky mess the two of you have created, one finally pushing in, drawing a guttural moan from your lips. The cold metal of his rings bump against your skin every time he thrusts his fingers in and out. He works you up to three before pulling them out completely, mouth still assaulting your clit, causing you to squeal.
“You ready f’me?” he questions, mouth still between your legs. You tug on his hair, pulling him away from your center, nodding profusely with a smile on your face.
He pushes you further up the bed, settling in between your legs. His cock nudges at your hole, the tip catching inside, you mewl quietly when he pushes in. He leans down, arms settling on either side of your head, his hair tickling your nose as he looks down at you intently.
“So pretty,” You mumble, hand coming up to cup his cheek and draw him into a kiss. He smiles into it, pulling away and admiring the way your face contorts every time he punches that spongy spot inside you.
“S’ all you, sweets,” He moans, forehead pressing against yours as he drives into you. The pace he sets draws moan after moan from deep within you.
Your hand stays cupping his face, kissing him again, your lips barely brushing his when he pulls away.
“C’mon pretty girl, tell me what it is. Wanna know what I should be moaning while I ruin you.”
You shutter a breath out- your name falling off your lips and into the air.
“F-fuck..” he’s full on smiling, his eyes crinkling as he languidly thrusts inside you.
“Eds-Eddie. M’ close,”
“Shit-ok. Where do you want me?” He picks up his pace, cock nudging at all the right places.
“Inside- want you inside,” Your legs lock around his waist, forcing him to bury himself to the hilt as he spills inside of you.
He’s giggling when you finally release him, pulling his still hard cock from inside you and smearing around the mess that has formed between your legs.
“Look so good painted all pretty for me. Could take a picture and look at it all tour long. Would never haveta’ look anywhere else. Just me this little memory and my hand,” he’s pulling your ass cheeks apart, releasing them before his thumb hooks into your pussy as he rummages around on the side table- careful not to knock down the countless polaroids around the camera.
“Can I sweets? Take a pretty little polaroid of this pretty little pussy?” he thrusts his thumb in further, drawing more cum out of you. You giggle when you feel it run down your thighs as you give him a soft hum in response to his question.
He snaps a picture of your most bare area, the idea makes you blush but then there's the idea of Eddie- using it. That makes it feel alright.
“Just wanna take one more,” he says as his cock nudges at your hole again, the puffy skin wanting to scream no but the burn short circuiting your brain at the same time.
He snaps another picture once he’s half inside you, your hands covering your face as you giggle.
“Enough of that,” he says with a small chuckle as he tosses the camera back onto the bedside table. His hands grip your hips as he lazily thrusts into you.
After finally having enough of Eddie’s teasing, you push at Eddie’s belly, signaling him to stop. He flashes you a confused look as he pulls out but soon gets the idea once you scramble off the bed and begin pushing him towards the couch.
He flops down onto the cushions, legs spreading wide. Deft fingers wrapping around your hips as you sink down onto him, your arms snake around his neck and pull at the hair sitting at the nape.
Eddie looks up at you in awe, his eyes never leaving yours as you ride him. His lips are parted, soft breaths and moans tumbling from his mouth.
“Shit- baby I- I can’t last like this-” He groans as he tries to stop your movements. You grab his hand, raising it and placing it on your breast.
“C’mon sweets, come in me again,” He moans sweetly at his own pet name being used against him, his hips stilling once he is settled inside you. He buries his head in your neck as he comes, teeth biting in as he silences himself.
You let him stay inside you for a while, finally pulling off of him when Eddie begins to rub at the skin on your hips.
You’re up on wobbly legs, shooting Eddie a glare when he begins to chuckle.
He throws his hands up in defense and motions to the mess between his legs. Cum has dripped down his balls and pooled in his seat.
“Gonna need to spot clean this one miss housekeeper,” He winces as he gets up, collecting you in his arms and placing a kiss to the top of your head.
“Let’s shower, yeah?”
You nod, taking his hand as he guides you to the small porcelain tub. He turns on the water, testing it with his fingers before stepping in once it has warmed up. He extends his hand to you, thanking him quietly once you're standing before him in the tiny shower.
He takes a step back, moving out of the spray and allowing you to warm up under the water. You take turns getting your bodies warmed up, Eddie finally assuming his position behind you washing your hair.
“You mentioned tour,” you blush as you recall the memory from moments ago. Eddie’s stops scrubbing your scalp and sighs.
“I- I’m leaving,” he says in an almost whimper.
“Oh, when?”
“Two days,”

All Dressed Up - Capt. Syverson x Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: based on a thought I had while watching Sand Castle earlier and a discussion with @nouis-bum from a couple of days ago. I couldn't help myself, sorry. Also, we decided for the purpose of my writing, his name's Luke.
pairing: Capt. Syverson x fem!reader
warnings/content: oral (m & f receiving), no use of y/n, no real mention of reader's features other than long hair.
word count: 1.8k
“Honey, have you seen my blue shirt?” Luke Syverson called out to his wife, his icy-blue eyes squinting as he tried to think of where his dress shirt could be. He was sure he’d checked every laundry basket, every drawer in the dresser, and both sides of the closet. He bounded down the stairs, heavy footsteps echoing through the house as he headed for the laundry room. His brows knit together as he thought about any stone he may have left unturned in his search. He didn’t dress up often - in fact, the missing dress shirt in question was his only dress shirt. He had always gotten by with an old t-shirt and a pair of jeans when he went out, which wasn’t a regular occurrence until you’d entered his life a few years ago.
Slowly, you’d begun to introduce new things into his closet, replacing his tattered old Houston Texans jersey was the first step - he’d kept the old one, of course, for nostalgic purposes, but it hardly fit, and the deep navy blue fabric had gained a few holes here and there over the years. The new one had been a birthday gift from you that first year you were together, and he treasured it. The dress shirt was introduced the second Christmas the two of you were together. You had a work Christmas party and he was home from his latest tour for a 6 month break until the next one came around. He’d never met any of your co-workers before, and wanting to make a good impression and keep you happy, he’d reluctantly agreed to go shopping with you to pick out something better suited to wear than a tattered cotton graphic tee he’d had for at least a decade, and a well-worn, faded pair of jeans.
As he squatted down in front of the dryer, opening the door to look at the contents inside to see if his shirt was somewhere in amongst the clean laundry waiting to be folded, he heard footsteps come up behind him, followed by a wolf whistle. He smirked to himself, closing the dryer door after yet another unsuccessful search. He stood upright, his full 6-foot-something frame straightening up as he turned to face you. His bulking muscular figure was still toned from the years of military service he’d just retired from, although now, he stood a little more solidly, having grown accustomed to more than just black coffee and shitty food while he was away. His arms folded across his chest, muscles bulging as he stood before her. His wife stood in front of him, batting her eyelashes as she donned his blue button up shirt, sitting oversized on her, drooping off her shoulders as grinned at him. His eyes scanned over her, taking in the sight before him. His lips curled up into a smirk, framed by his thick, curly, dark beard, the chestnut coloured hairs recently trimmed to look less wild than they usually did. He noticed that the shirt stopped just above her knee, and it didn’t take more than a split second to realize that the shirt was the only article of clothing she was wearing at the time.
“Now, darlin’, why exactly have ya got my shirt on?” His voice carried a teasing tone to it as he spoke, the smirk on his face remaining unchanged as his piercing blue eyes continued to gawk at her.
“Thought it made for a kinda cute shirt dress, don’t you?” She teased, twirling a long strand of hair around her index finger, “Besides, kinda fun watchin’ you run around half naked lookin’ for it.”
“Sugar, don’t get me wrong, it looks great on ya, but I can’t exactly go out for dinner lookin’ like this,” Luke gestured to his naked torso, his hand stopping just above the waist of his dark-washed jeans.
“Fine, but, before I take it off,” She began, her lips curving into a devilish grin as she dragged her fingers lazily over his skin, gently raking through the brown curls that adorned his chest, “I want to make you feel good first.”
“Darlin’, you’re killin’ me here,” He shook his head, laughing as he looked down at her.
Luke watched as she gently pressed her lips to his collarbone before slowly slinking down to her knees before him. He took his belt in his hand, undoing the metal buckle and sliding the long leather material through the belt loops around his waist. He dropped it to the ground, the sound of the buckle clattering against the hardwood flooring echoing through the room.
He undid the button on his jeans with urgency, dragging them down just enough to allow his wife the space she’d need to pleasure him. She yanked the elastic waistband of his boxers down with a smirk, his hardened cock springing back as she freed it from its cotton restraints. She pressed her lips to it, leaving a tauntingly delicate kiss to the sensitive, red tip, her hand firmly gripping the base. She licked a long, wet stripe up the underside of his length, beginning at the base and ending in a swirling motion around the tip, giving him a doe-eyed gaze as she looked up at him, watching for his reaction. He tilted his head back, letting out a deep, low growling moan before turning his head back to look down at her, grunting her name as she guided his member past her lips, creating suction on the tip with her mouth.
She began bobbing her head along his length, her cheeks hollowing as she pushed his erection further into her mouth, saliva beginning to drip down it as she took more of his length past her lips. She pulled her mouth back off his cock with a loud popping noise, smirking up at him as he grunted upon the loss of contact.
“Fucking Christ, babygirl, you’re killin’ me here,” Luke rasped, shaking his head as he looked down at her.
Luke grabbed a handful of her hair, gripping it as he guided her mouth back onto him, pushing her further down his erection and guiding her back off it at a rhythmic pace, building in speed as she went. Luke was struggling to keep himself composed as she continued working his orgasm out of him with her mouth. Her eyes began to water as his tip brushed the back of her throat and the moment his sensitive cap made contact, he felt his knees buckle, swallowing hard as he tried to hold off his orgasm as long as he could. Her gaze never left his face as he tossed his head back, her name falling from his lips like a prayer as thick, warm ropes of cum shot down her throat. His eyes shut for a brief moment, completely lost in his own pleasure. He looked down at her, watching as she slowly backed herself off of him, dragging her tongue lazily against his underside as she did so.
“Darlin’, I think it’s only fair I return the favour for ya now,” He gave her a mischievous smirk as he offered his hand out to her, helping her stand to her feet.
Luke gripped her hips and hoisted her up onto the metal top of the dryer, grinning at her as he took his turn kneeling on the floor. He pulled her forwards by her hips. He tapped the inside of her thigh with his hand, indicating to her that she needed to spread her legs to allow him to fit between them. His blue eyes watched her as he dragged two thick fingers along her wet folds, his voice in a low hum as he spoke, amused at how aroused she was. Luke used his fingers to part her lips gently, letting out a deep exhale as he stared at her, taking in the sight before him.
“Look at you, darlin’, pussy all wet for me, just waitin’ for me to take care a’ya, hmm?” he cooed as he watched her part her lips, allowing a soft moan to escape from her mouth.
“Luke, please, baby,” she mewled, whimpering as he circled the pad of his fingertip against her swollen clit.
The sound of her whimpering, soft moans were music to Luke’s ears, and he wasted no time in pressing his lips to her sensitive bud, lapping his tongue against it, tasting her sweet arousal as his fingers dug into the soft flesh of her thigh. He dipped two of his fingers into her now dripping core, lazily fucking them into her as he sucked on her nub, waiting for her to beg him to give her more.
“Luke, fucking hell, stop fucking teasing me, please?” She whined, her voice raising in pitch as she let out another whimper.
Luke pumped his fingers into her faster, pressing into her soft spot as he continued to lick and suck at her clit, his bright blue eyes never leaving once leaving her face as he watched, feeling himself become more aroused by seeing her face contort and hearing her vocalize her pleasure. He felt her leg tremble under his free hand, and he continued to fuck her with his fingers, pulling his mouth off of her clit just enough for her to hear him speak.
“Soak my fingers for me, sugar,” He husked, watching as he continued to thrust them into her wet folds, an animalistic grunt escaping his lips as he felt her clenching around him.
She tossed her head back as her arousal coated him, a loud, passionate scream of his name echoing through the air as she climaxed. Luke pulled his fingers out, licking them clean before ducking back between her thighs, delving his tongue inbetween her folds to clean up the mess he’d made of her. Once finished, he pulled back his head, sitting back on his feet for a moment as he grinned up at her, his bearded chin glistening with her arousal as he looked at her.
“Now, sweetness, you’re gonna have to take my shirt off of ya now, or else we’re never gonna make it to dinner. They might notice us being missing.” He smirked, shaking his head as he stood up.
Luke reached his hands out to grab her by the hips, nodding as he helped her down off of the dryer. He cocked an eyebrow up at her, watching as she slowly undid the buttons of the shirt before shrugging the blue material back off her shoulders, letting it drop to the floor as she exposed her bare skin to him. Unable to control his impulsive urges, Luke grabbed her by the waist, gripping her body tightly as he pulled her in against his frame.
“Well…maybe we can be a few minutes late?”
