that's another thing though, isn't it? because i can go on and on about how he's dating someone who's been a fan of him for years and how fucked up that is and no one will listen but we (meaning the human collective) have just barely learned that some relationship dynamics are fucked up despite the ages of the participants. when one of those vine sauce boys was just having one night stands with his fans people were uproariously angry... and that's not AS bad for various reasons but still bad in a way that is now being ignored. it is never okay to take advantage of your status as a content creator to enter into any type of relation/situationship with someone, especially when you're as popular as He is. however, i'm aware relationships have certain contexts and, as an outsider, you can't and *shouldn't* try to come up with that context that you'll never know for sure... BUT, as i've said a billion times in the last year or so, knowing that someone has been watching you and a fan of you for a majority of your career should AT THE VERY LEAST make you step back and question whether or not to pursue a relationship with them. if at all.
#i can't help but be negative about their relationship not because i am a schizo nutjob but because of all of the information i've found out#about her and her past relationships. I DID NOT HAVE TO DIG DEEP TO FIND THIS INFO BTW i didn't stalk anyone but abt half a year ago a few#anonymous ppl came out and said some very eye-opening shit about her... i did try to inquire further and maybe prod and see if at least one#of them was lying but they never responded. perhaps all of the 3 ppl who had stories abt her were lying and perhaps none of them were#either way idk what they hoped to gain about coming out with their info anyways except for maybe just. finally having a reason to say it?#because they know she's dating a popular content creator idk. like i said you should take that all woth a grain of salt even though#at least SOME of that information has been proven. anyways none of that matters honestly she could be the best person ever who cares#the point i'm trying to make here is that jeremy should be disappointing people by doing this but the percentage of people who were#bothered by this doesn't add up with the current amount of sjw tumblrinas in his audience. i honestly wish all of his old 4chan misogynist#fans came back but that bridge has been burned LMFAOOOO honestly i wish i could just get over him and his stupid bullshit but i can't for#whatever reason. i'm sorry for always going on and on abt it when i half of you still adore him and want me dead everytime i talk abt this#and the other half could not give a single fuck less but. yeah. that's all i have to say really

New Jeremy talking about Jake article is released. Jeremy Slater: Is he good? Is he evil? We don't know
Jeremy I trusted you wtf. You literally said a month ago that making him evil would be a mistake
Article
Sigh. So. I got a notification for this article yesterday actually and I rolled my eyes at it so hard that I figured I wouldn't even give it my full attention. But I can see that it's started to gain some traction here and a few people have asked me, so I wanna just. Try and squash a little bit of the disappointment if I can.
First off, I should mention that The Direct is starting to make a habit of taking older interviews and portraying them as new, exciting information for headlines. The quotes they take from Jeremy here are actually from an Inverse article dated as May 25th, 2022. Which I mean, is only three weeks ago, but it's definitely not from yesterday. So that's significant.
Anyway, the issue we're all having:
Tumblr media
Again, at face value, I can see how negative this looks because I read it in exactly the same way. It made me angry because this is totally different from what Jeremy said on May 12th. But what made me view it differently was in remembering how we're told the story.
The first few episodes, The Goldfish Problem and Summon the Suit, are almost entirely told from Steven's point of view. He's confused, he's scared, he doesn't know who Marc is, so neither do we. We're meant to feel unsettled because he feels unsettled and we're discovering this whole world alongside him as the audience. And then we get to Asylum, and we see Marc's side of the story from his own memories, but we're watching them through Steven's eyes. We're perceiving a life through someone else.
It's the way Jeremy says, "Marc and Steven are still totally unaware of his existence. We don't necessarily know, is he good? Is he evil?" Because, in reality, we don't know anything about Jake because they don't. Marc and Steven only have glimpses, gaps in time, not really enough to form a solid idea one way or the other, so at this point, we'd question him in the same way. We can make assumptions and form our own interpretations, but in the roots of the story, so can Marc and Steven. And they can be wrong.
Think about it in the way Steven has such a firm idea of what's good, and Marc has the same in what he thinks is bad. It doesn't necessarily mean that their opinions are fact, but they believe they are, and a lot of my Jake Lockley analysis is rooted in the idea that the boys would misunderstand his actions/motives. And not only that, but we have to think of the sentence "and we know he is definitely more on board with Khonshu's worldview in terms of punishing evildoers." We know Khonshu has uh.. not entirely legitimate concepts of justice and vengeance, but why would someone who's "evil," want to "punish evildoers?" If everything about Jake was meant to be seen as corrupt and senselessly destructive, wouldn't he want to just.. let them be? Wouldn't he allow Harrow to keep on killing instead of removing him from the equation for good?
Tumblr media
There, THAT is the line that really did it for me here too. "everything is in service of the greater good." A benevolent force doesn't care about the greater good, that's the whole point. Evil looks at the greater good, laughs in its face and spits on it. The idea is this: is he going to be a friend to Marc and Steven. Is he going to be an enemy to Marc and Steven. That idea of an enemy can be anything that causes conflict in the relationship, whether that be opposing worldviews, clashing morals, etc. A lot of what we know about Jake, which granted is very little, alludes to him having these sorts of conflicts with the boys. They don't know his background or his reasons for doing what he does, but they assume the worst because they're scared. They're confused.
Maybe I'm reading too much into things, and I'm obviously a little bias here, but I find it hard to believe that Jeremy would suddenly change his mind and begin to hold such a.. flat take on Jake as a character. It's boring. And besides, we're talking about the same guy that said this not that long ago:
Tumblr media
There's a big difference between being generic evil and being perceived as evil by those around you, just because they don't have all the information yet. And hopefully someday, we will.

The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood [Review]
“Reading is my therapy” masterlist
Tumblr media
“I'm starting to wonder if this is what being in love is. Being okay with ripping yourself to shreds, so the other person can stay whole.” ― Ali Hazelwood, The Love Hypothesis
I was looking forward to reading this book for so many reasons, but I couldn't quite get to it, because funny enough, I was working on multiple Uni papers of mine. However, once I finally got my hands on this book, it did not disappoint me at all!
Book cover: ★★★★ [4/5] Pacing: ★★★★ [4/5] POV: ★★★★ [4/5] Romance: ★★★★★ [5/5] Spice: ★★★★ [4/5] Plot / Originality: ★★★★ [4/5] Characters: ★★★★ [4/5] Ending: ★★★★ [4/5] Over all rating: 4.4
It is very rare that a book catches my attention from the very beginning. I usually need a good couple of chapters to get into it. But in this case, by page 5 I was completely in for the ride. By page 5 I was grinning like a kid and by the time I finished, I loved every moment of the cackles that left my lungs, the angsty moments that made my tummy churn, the silly jokes that made me roll my eyes and the broody expressionless, emotionless scenes that made me want to facepalm myself. I felt it was just built up very well and the chemistry between the characters just captured my complete attention.
Possible spoilers ahead!
Book Cover
I usually pay a lot of attention to book covers. Not because I'm "judging a book by its cover", but because I really like aesthetically pleasing and creative covers. Let's be honest, if it looks pretty, we certainly like to display it.
The cover of this book certainly caught my attention. I love the blue and pink colouring and the drawing. For me it was refreshing and sweet and I'm a hopeless romantic so having a kiss sitting right across the front of the book is a sure way to make me buy it if the blurb/summary is also intriguing.
Don't get me wrong, looking at a half naked man on the cover with a fine six pack is certainly a pretty sight, but I like to see a bit of diversity in book covers and it certainly did that.
I would have given 5 stars for the cover if it wasn't for the "printed sticker" of "The TikTok sensation" screaming right in my face. I understand it is a very well liked book and rather popular, but that "printed sticker" or even any sticker that I can not easily remove is sacrilegious and should not exist. And so the cover did deserve losing a star and it's all the publisher's fault aka Sphere; Little, Brown Book.
Pacing
I think it's safe to say that pacing is important to all of us and this book did not disappoint. It was just the right amount of slow down when it needed to be and things picked up when something significant happened. I was personally very satisfied with how well the pacing was done.
POV
This might not be important to some, but I am struggling to read more than 2 people's point of view and unless it's very well executed, first person is usually a disappointment for me. Luckily, I didn't encounter any issues here. It was written in third person, but from Olive, the main character's point of view. Besides, it never seemed forced, like in some books where more telling is happening rather than actions. It always told me enough to keep me wonder, but helped me understand what was happening. I personally really liked the narrative of this book from front to back.
Romance
Our main characters, Olive and Adam had chemistry from the very first stuttering sentences Olive muttered to the last cheeky sentence of the book. From the very first awkward kiss, throughout Adam's brooding but trying to not laugh at Olive's teasing up until the lies that kept piling up, the characters chemistry just oozed off the pages of the book. The lingering touches, the eye contacts, the hidden smiles that they could only catch a glimpse of... I couldn't stop rooting for them and grinning above my book like a little child.
Of course, we didn't see much of Ahn's relationship with Jeremy and Malcolm's relationship with Holden, but what we saw of them were adorable. I personally loved Holden and Malcolm, even though we only got to see more of them at the end of the book. Them two were making me all giddy with their banter.
Spice
Some people might look at me weird for giving 5 star for only one spicy scene, but I had to. It is very rare to see such a detailed spicy scene, let alone pages of that very detailed spicy scene. I think it was brilliant, capturing and very hot to be honest.
I'm usually a fantasy reader and I am a tad bit tired of all the spicy scenes being compared to shooting stars and glowing gardens and flowers and what not. It was very refreshing for me to see a scene that felt real and both hot and sweet. Adam's constant worry about Olive and making sure she was okay with everything they have done meanwhile he clearly was about to lose it, it was just perfect for me.
It wasn't a 5 star rating that I would give to a mafia romance or a BDSM scene, but rating spice differs within different genres for me. In this book, the spice was a 5 star rating because it was perfectly matching with the characters' personality whilst we also got to see them in a different light, besides, it was more detailed and more real than some of the other books I have read in this genre.
Plot / Originality
Now I liked the plot a lot. I like woman in STEM and I really liked that Adam wasn't Olive's prof. otherwise it would have been an issue with some of the audience of the book. I think it was executed smartly.
I liked the banter over the awkward first kiss that noone gave consent for. Whilst it might trigger some people, I think it was very well written. Oliver had made a mistake and apologised over and over again and even after she apologised repeatedly, she was ready to accept her punishment if Adam was to file a complaint. Now, I have seen many reviews that got hung up on this part and I understand why, however the characters themselves were ready to face the consequences and did not pretend to be innocent. I think many people who wrote those reviews feel the banter over the kiss and the consent was uncalled for, but I think it was a very sweet touch, because it showcased that although it wasn't a smart thing to do, the characters found a way to make it less awkward and not blow it out of proportion when one felt genuinely guilty.
Besides the fake-dating trope that we all love and get hung up on to savour the slowly developing relationship, I actually preffered the one bed trope. Why you might be curious. Without saying much, I think the author, Ali did an amazing job with the "they had one bed, only to realise they didn't, to then end up still with only one bed". I think that was a very smart way around using the trope, but making it original.
Although I was suspicious about Tom from about half way through the book, I did not expect that encounter between Tom and Olive to be that intense, so it left me a bit baffled, but Adam made up for the heartbreak.
Also, whilst it was quite predictable how things would turn out, I still liked the tiny twists here and there, such as Olive's stunt in the restaurant.
Over all, I really enjoyed the plot and whilst others said that the "Tom part" was unnecessary - maybe it was - I personally enjoyed that aspect of the plot too. I guess I just like drama in my fictions after all.
Characters
Adam's brooding personality and trying not show how excited he was around Olive, but still showing a tiny smile in the corner of his lips just made Adam an even more likeable character. He was subtle, but at the same time he wasn't. Once we got closer to him, his expressions and body language had become quite transparent. I personally really liked reading more and more of him from Olive's perspective. Sometimes she wasn't sure if she had seen an expression on him or if she had imagined it as they disappeared in the blink of an eye and it made is character more intriguing.
I really liked Olive's determination and strength. Also her anxiousness and trauma made her a very real character, very relatable. I can confidently say I liked her, she was a sweet woman, but at the same time I really wished her to just stop bringing herself down. Of course, it was understandable that she did, she didn't have much of an understanding on how much people around her loved her, but sometimes I wished she was as smart in life as in her work. She kept putting herself behind anyone to please others. For Ahn to get Jeremy or for Adam to keep his collaboration with Tom. Though I understood, I still felt she didn't learn her own self-worth as much as she should have by the end of the book.
Ahn was a chaotic sweetheart and I loved her simping over Jeremy. Her pushy behaviour might have seemed off to some people, but I thought it was just showing a different personality and I was here for it. The way she learned the truth about the pile of lies Olive created was certainly not ideal, but her support and attitude towards Olive was really something that made me like her even more.
Malcolm was a delight. A big goofy idiot who seeks pleasure after pleasure. I loved his extrovert behaviour and all over the place always bubbly personality. He definitely was a big favourite of mine and I was rooting for him and Holden.
Ending
I didn't think I'd give only four stars for the ending, but it only took three words to take that one star away and it was "ten months later". I can not stand when authors do that. I can't complain because I liked the over all ending, both what happened after and before that sinful "ten months later" but those three words deserve that minus one star.
Though I have to say I really wished to see what Adam's reaction was at the end of chapter 22 aka the last chapter before the epilogue. I just felt that would have added so much more to the ending of the story. I missed having that from the ending, but I still liked it regardless.
Over all
If I had to summarise my thoughts in only a couple of words, I'd have to say I really loved the chemistry between Adam and Olive and the storyline was absolutely brilliant. Of course, it is only my personal opinion and it might differ from others', but I really enjoyed every second of every page from the very first bathroom scene to the very last epilogue. There wasn't a moment where I did not root for the main characters and as the story moved forward, this feeling only kept growing. I really fell in love with the book and the characters and I can't wait to read more of Ali Hazelwood's work in the future.

The Language of Limbo - Part 4
Pairing : Chris Evans x Plus Size Reader ; Marvel Cast x Plus Size Reader
Warnings : Language ; Angst ; Mention of drinking
Word Count : 2.7k
Tumblr media
You sprinted out to your trailer and ignoring Hemsworth's calls in the process. Once you got inside your safe space, your leaned against the door and let yourself slide down, crying your heart out, a mix of emotions going over you : sadness, disappointment, anger, shame. Your mind kept replaying Rebecca's word on a loop and you lost it completely until you eventually fell asleep on the couch. You were woken up by knocks on your door. You sighed heavily not wanting to face anyone but the person behind the door was persistent. You opened up not bothering in cleaning the traces of your sadness. Elisabeth entered in your trailer and without a word hugged you. A fresh new wave of tears cascaded down your face while she was rubbing your arms in support. "I heard the news, I'm so sorry Y/N." You nodded, hiding yourself from her. "The cast is also worried but wanted to give you some space. They send their regards to you nonetheless", she continued slowly.
You sat down on the couch and took a deep breath before exclaiming, "God this sucks." She sat beside you, comforting you. "It does. I don't know what came over the ones in charge, you were doing so good. I don't understand. Now we have to reshoot the scenes all over again", she told you. "Months of preparation and hard work and I didn't even get the chance to prove myself", you replied with a cracking voice. She grabbed your face and looked into your eyes, "Listen to me Y/N, you are strong and will nail the Shield agent part. I know you will, so show them what they lost." You nodded and hugged her tightly. "Thank you Lizzie." She wiped out the remaining tears and told you that RDJ was hosting another get together for the newbie. "I know it's delicate but it would be good if you were present." You shook your head, "I'm sorry I can't. I won't be able to be there and act like nothing happened. Rebecca, she…", you said but cut short to it. "She what Y/N?", asked Lizzie. "No nothing, it's nothing. I can't go, I'm sorry and besides I have work to do in memorizing the new lines." She nodded in understanding and left. "If you need anything you know where to find me." You thanked her again and saw her leaving.
Meanwhile during RDJ's get together
Just like they did to you, Scarlet and Mackie showed Rebecca around while doing small-talk and trying to get to know her. "I guess you will have to catch on fast on all the fighting moves for the scenes?", remarked Mackie. "Oh I think it will not be so difficult, I'm a fast learner and in good shape, I'm sure I'll know all of it in two days' time", she replied all smiling. "Ohhhkay", replied Mackie slightly taken aback by her assurance. They arrived at Downey Town and the rest of the cast greeted her. Elisabeth put on a her best fake smile while doing so, smile that caught the attention of Rebecca, who saved that expression for her future plans. She asked about the shooting so far and felt particularly intrigued at one of Robert's remarks. "I'm curious how you will top Y/N's chemistry with Chris." She gave him a skeptical look and asked, "What do you mean?" The older actor cleared his throat and replied back with a teasing smirk, "Y/N and Chris are love interests in the movie and their chemistry showed onscreen because it was already flawless offscreen." She scoffed not believing her ears. "Well it's a good thing that she won't play Chris's love interest anymore, since I'm Y/C/N now. I'm not afraid, I like a challenge, if we could call that one." "You seem really confident there?", mumbled Hemsworth from the other end of the table. "I know my strengths and what I want in life. Once there's something I want, I'll do everything I can to obtain it." Some actors nodded, not understanding the whole meaning of her words. "That's a good philosophy", replied Mark with a smile.
After a while, she set her plan in motion. "I don't want to overstep or anything, I mean you've been around her longer than I have but I don't get why you're all praising Y/N so much. I mean, I met her the day they revealed us who was casted and had some time to chat with her and she just seemed extremely rude to me." The cast frowned at her words, not really believing her. "Nonsense, Y/N is one of the sweetest people I know", counterattacked Elisabeth. Rebecca gasped and said, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause trouble or implying anything, it was just my feeling at that moment, the way she talked about some of you and all." The last part caught everyone's attention. "What do you mean 'talked about some of us'?", asked Tom cautiously. She shook her head and said, "You know what? Just forget that I said anything. I don't want any drama or whatever. I just want to be part of this already established family and do good in the movie." The rest of the cast looked around at each other thinking about her words, some not entirely sure if they should believe her since they've spend time with you and saw that you weren't like that. At the same time, some others began to question themselves, because they didn't know you for long.
Elisabeth was fuming, seeing an outsider not only take the place that was rightfully yours but criticize you on top of it. "Thank you Robert for diner. I'm going to bed", she said before abruptly standing up and leaving the table. "She seems upset", said Rebecca with her best sweet voice. "Yeah, she's friends with Y/N. I don't think your little comments from earlier made her happy", announced Jeremy. She bowed her head in fake shame but was mentally smirking. "I'm really sorry it wasn't my attention", she whispered with a cracking voice. "Hey let's not worry about that. Think of it as a new start, focus on your job and everything will go fine", comforted RDJ in a fatherly manner. She nodded and thanked him before excusing herself and call it a night. "I planted the seed, now I'll have to wait until the little bees come and collect their nectar", she mumbled proudly to herself once in her trailer.
It's been a few days since the recasting. You would either stay inside your trailer, hit the gym to let some steam off or spend time at the small cafe around the corner, going over your part in the script. You began shutting everyone out one by one because you were trying to focus on how you wanted to embody the tech agent without turning it into a complete cliché. The more you stepped back the more Rebecca used it against you to get closer to the cast and have them on her side. She began dropping hints here and there about your absence and how antisocial you were.
One day, she took advantage of Elizabeth not being present to criticize you. "It makes me wonder if she really cared hanging out for you or because of how much she could gain in being associated with you", she said once when they were on the lunch break. "Why are you always talking bad about her?", asked Mark slightly annoyed of hearing her complain all the time. She swallowed harshly and put on her best innocent act. "I'm just frustrated. I know she hates me, she has made it clear but it just annoys me that she talks shit about you but when she's in front of you, she acts all friendly and all. Her hypocrisy makes me sick." It was Chris (Evans)'s turn to speak up. "You keep saying that but do you have any prove of it."
She scoffed annoyed before bursting out, "I know she keeps asking questions about your personal life for example, just like a stalker would. You must be blind to not see how smitten she is about you. It doesn't only revolve around you but goes beyond. I was drinking some water after a scene and saw a phone churn on the table. I recognized her phone and a certain Scott Evans was texting her. I suppose it's your brother", she finished. Chris clenched his jaw in anger, not believing you would go that far to get to him. "Is it true? Did you noticed it too?", he asked around him. Some of the actors seemed uncomfortable because it was indeed true that there was a time where you would ask them about Chris and his personal life. "It happened once or twice", revealed Scarlet. Rebecca saw the glimpse of the prominent fracture occur in front of her eyes and pushed it further. "And other things she does. I overheard her once on the phone when I was walking to my trailer, where she was criticizing you Scarlet, saying that she didn't know how people could be so dumb and believe in your talent. She said you were just a body and with no talent behind. It clearly shows how jealous she in fact is. Or when she said how you Mackie should shut the fuck up already because your jokes weren't funny at all", she rambled while pointing at them. "And let me not start with what she said about you Robert." "It's enough, I don't want to hear about it", he replied not interested. The thick air surrounded the cast, Scarlet, Mackie and Chris fuming about what they just heard. Chris stood up angrily and walked away, isolating himself in his own trailer, thinking about what he should do with all these information.
Today was your first scene as the Shield agent. You walked out of the makeup trailer and marched to the set. When you arrived you saw that they were still filming a scene and not just only a scene. THE scene, where Steve and what was supposed to be your character, would share their first kiss. You saw Rebecca launching on Chris's lips and it made you sick. "It was supposed to be me", the thought crossing your mind. You bowed down your head before taking control of your emotions and focus on your part. You left your phone on silence next to your chair and went over your lines one last time. "Y/N? you're up", you heard one of the Russo brothers shout. You stood up, leaving your script and phone on the chair and got in position to shoot your scene. While you were shooting a scene between Mark and RDJ, Chris sat on his own chair who was beside yours. He was taking a gulp of his water when the reflection of the screen beside him caught his attention. It wasn’t his intention to look at it but when he saw his brother's name, he paled.
From Scott Evans : Hey Y/N, how are you? How has it been going regarding Chris?
His blood began to boil and he clenched his jaw in fury. "So it is true", he quietly mumbled to himself. You finished your scene and head back to your seat. You noticed Chris looking angry and frowned. "Everything alright?", you asked him. "We need to talk !", he spat. You were taken aback by his hostility and before you could answer, he stood up and walked away, leaving you dumbfounded. The small altercation didn't go unnoticed by some of the cast and especially Rebecca who was biting on her lip in order to control her grin. "The fuck", you whispered to yourself. You continued your work the best you could but Chris's expression and tone he employed were always on your mind. During breaks, Mackie would make jokes but because you were thinking about the altercation, you wouldn't laugh. "Jeez, apparently some do think my jokes suck and instead of telling it to my face, just prefer to be fake", he said while looking directly at you. You didn't caught the meaning behind his words but it still sting a little to you. The day was over for you and left the others behind who still had two scenes to shoot.
Elizabeth approached Mackie and asked him what was his comment about. "Nothing, forget about it", he just replied before turning around and rolling his eyes at her for defending you. She walked to Scarlet with a frown and the blond actress asked her what was going on. "I don't know, I feel like everyone is just being cold with Y/N and I have no idea why", mumbled Lizzie. Scarlet cleared her voice before commenting, "I don't know, maybe Y/N isn't who she pretends to be." To that, Lizzie looked at Scarlet in the eyes and with an annoyed expression, "What is that supposed to mean?" Scarlet sighed not really in the mood but eventually told Lizzie what was going on. "That's why we're keeping our distances. Chris found out today that she's indeed in contact with his brother and that the main topic of conversation was Chris." Lizzie gasped not believing her words. "Come on Elizabeth we know you're friends but you're not that close. You've worked together, what, 5 years ago. People change and besides it's not like it's a close friend of yours. She might be using you too", declared Scarlet. Lizzie was lost, not knowing who to believe in. It was indeed true that you weren't that close. If it wasn't for Aaron she probably wouldn't even know you but still she found it hard to believe.
You were finishing putting on your clothes when harsh knocks were heard on your door. You quickly buttoned your jeans and put on your sneakers before opening the door and seeing Chris stand in front of you. "Can I come in?", he asked with a firm voice. "Ehm sure", you replied with a frown. The air was thick and uncomfortable. "So what do you wanted to talk about?", you asked. He sighed before looking angrily at you. "I don't know why you've been asking around about me but I don't like when people put their nose where they don't belong, especially if it involves my family." Your mouth opened in shock and your face was burning in shame. "Wha-what?", you whispered. "I know you've been texting my brother about me and I also know you've got a thing for me." He walked closer and you took a step back, the movement making him stop. He took a deep breath before declaring, "You and me. It's never gonna happen, so stop stalking me. Don't talk to me ever again and stay away from my family !" You stood there in shock and felt the silent tears sliding down your face. "Get out", you whispered. "What did you say?", he asked. You gulp harshly, "Get out ! GET OUT ! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY TRAILER"!, you shouted in despair, pushing him out. His eyes went wide and he almost tripped while exiting. You smashed the door on his face and felt on the ground, crying, deeply hurt by his words. Mason who was on his way to your trailer, saw you pushing Chris out of your trailer, a crying mess and he had to control himself to not launch on him and punch him in the face. He followed Chris until he was out of sight and his eyes landed on Rebecca who was hiding in a corner, smiling proudly. He promised himself to dig into it and have an eye on the one he immediately felt a bad connection with.
You took your phone, wrote Scott a small and vague message before deleting his number. You cleaned your face and got out, heading to the cornerstone. Once you arrived at the aisle you were looking for your gaze fixed for a long minute the bottle of whiskey in front of you. You grabbed two bottles along a bag of chips, so that the cashier wouldn't find it suspicious. You payed him and grabbed the bag before quickly heading back to your trailer. You took the groceries out and opened the first bottle, taking a large gulp from it. Burning your throat, the liquor gave you the comfort you needed. You kept on drinking until you couldn't stand on your feet. You opened the second bottle and drank from it until it was half empty before passing out on the floor.

Love ur tumblr,it's awesome, congrats!!.Please, could you write an Eddie shot about I'm Eddie's girlfriend. One night I have a nightmare: he falls while he's climbing at some show and he gets hurt badly.I wake up very scared so I beg him doesn't climb that night because I have a bad feeling, but he does it. Nothing bad happens of course, but I get so angry with him.He tries to apologize in a sweet way,you know ;) Thank you!! Btw, English it's not my mothertongue so forgive my mistakes :)
The room was so fullthat no one else would fit in. Porch was just somewhere in the middle of itsusual duration, Mike was rocking his guitar in a breathtaking solo. You stoodat the side of the stage supporting your friends, but mostly your boyfriendEddie, who was just going crazy from all the energy and atmosphere. He wasjumping around and running all over the stage and he obviously wanted to geteverything out of him. You loved watching him perform, but his kind ofself-expression in moments like these often made you worry a lot. His passionfor climbing and jumping into crowds was something you didn’t share with him.Again, you had to watch him trying to get on the top of several speakers. Theroom went dark, the only cone of light was directed at Eddie. The speakers werefew meters high and he was almost there. Two or three little moves. But justwhen you were about to feel joy that he safely reached the top, his handsuddenly slipped and he fell down on his back from an enormous height. A dullhit was pretty much audible and you witnessed it all in an unexpressible shock.Eddie’s paralyzed and motionless body didn’t show any signs of life. Youimmediately started crying and wanted to run to him to help him, but a pair ofsomeone’s arms caught you and refused to let you on stage. He repeated over andover that you couldn’t go there and that there were people who’d help him. Youtotally broke down as you watched more and more people rushing to the stage, taking Eddie away from you…
„Y/N! Y/N, for God’s sake, wake up!“ you heard from adistance, feeling hands on your shoulders. You woke up to Eddie’s worried face. There’s no need to say how hard the wave of relief hit you. Your cheeks werewet and your heart was beating so fast that you thought it would explode soon. You grabbed Eddie’s tshirt and pulled him into the tightest hug you’ve evergiven him. You still couldn’t stop yourself from crying, because the damn dreamscared the shit out of you. „Love, it’s okay. It’s gone. Shhh, it’s okay,“ hecomforted you as he was stroking your back. He held you until you calmed downand then asked what happened.
„I was watching you play and you decided to climb up thehuge speakers you always have on stage and…and fell down. You just lay thereand didn’t move and I wanted to help you so bad, but someone held me didn’t letme go there…oh God, why was it so real? I thought I’d never see you again,Eddie, I seriously thought it was an end…“ salt water filled your eyes again, which made Eddie take your face in his hands and kiss you on the forehead.
„It was just a bad dream, okay? I’m here with you and I’malive. Please, stop crying, Y/N,“ he whispered and wiped the tears off yourcheeks.
„What if it was some kind of warning? I don’t want you to doit. I’m so worried about you all the time. And I don’t wanna wait untilsomething really happens to you,“ your voice was still shaking a bit.
„It’s under my control everytime, Y/N. It’s not as dangerousas it seems, trust me,“ he objected.
„Eddie, you’re the only one I have and you know that Iwouldn’t handle losing you. Promise me you’re not gonna do it at least the nextshow. Please, I don’t ask for much.“ He sighed long, but agreed: „Okay okay, Ipromise. But now you promise me that you won’t have bad dreams tonightanymore.“
„Promise,“ you smiled and cuddled up to him. His arms wereproviding you a feeling of safety and home, so you soon fell asleep withoutbigger problems.
*
It was right before the beginning of today’s show. All theguys were in a great mood and you were supposed to be, too, but somehow youcouldn’t get that dream out of your head. Eddie looked fine, nothing seemed tofrustrate him.
„You’ll be careful, won’t you?“ you were making sure beforehe went up on stage.
„Of course I will, don’t worry,“ he quickly kissed you andthen disappeared in a corridor leading to stage. You sighed and waited forStone’s and Jeff’s girlfriend to go watch your men together from the side of thestage as usual. They kicked off the show with Why Go and Deep, Jeremy and Even Flow followed. People in the crowd were great, you couldhardly see someone who wouldn’t enjoy this night as if it was their last.Usually you’d dance and sing along, however today you still couldn’t help itbut felt something bad in the air. You kept repeating in your head that nothingcan happen, you trusted Eddie and his words. Everything seemed to be fine sofar, but you turned to the girls and started talking to come to other thoughtsanyway. They were great girls and it was always fun to be around them. Finallyyou felt better.
„Hey ladies, do you see that photographer over there? Stonetold me he’s totally head over heelsfor Ed. Look at his face! Y/N, I swear even you don’t look at Ed like this!“You all laughed as you focused on that photographer.
„He looks like he’ll do everything to steal him from me,“you joked.
„Well, I think not only him,“ Jeff’s girlfriend pointed tosome girls in the crowd who were jumping there half naked. „Gosh, he’s crazy!Does he wanna jump again or what?“ You immediately turned your head in Eddie’sdirection. He was already one leg on the speaker, climbing higher and higher.Your stomach gripped tightly as an unexpected wave of fear mixed with angerflew through your body. He made a fuckingpromise.
„No. No, I’m not gonna watch this,“ you told the girls andran to backstage to Eddie’s dressing room where you took your jacket and gotout of the building. You caught a taxi and got back to the hotel room. It washard for you to believe that he really did it. Despite his own words. You tooka quick shower and when you returned to the bedroom, you found out that Eddiehad tried to call you several times, because the phone was full of left voicemessages. You deleted all of them, you already didn’t want to hear a word fromhim today. You slipped under the blanket and tried to fall asleep before hereturns, but it was useless. Your head was so full and didn‘t allow you to cutoff from the reality.
As soon as you heard the opening door, you took a deepbreath. You even wanted to fake the sleep, but before you managed to close youreyes, he already stood in the bedroom. And apparently, angry as well.
„Can you explain to me why didn’t you answer my calls? Doyou even know how worried I was about you? I wanted to cancel the rest of theshow when Mike told me you’d left without any reason!“ he said in heightenedvoice. He literally made you look at him in total disbelief.
„Excuse me, without any reason? You know the reason verywell, Eddie, so stop acting like this! You will be telling me something aboutfear? You? You never fail to amaze me, really. But you know what, I don’t wannahear anything from you, let me sleep.“
„No way, I’m not done yet. Look, Y/N, okay, I admit that youhave a full right to be mad at me, but you should have answered the calls. You know how it’s dangerous outside, people can recognize you and not all ofthem are nice and friendly. You should have waited for me,“ he wildlygesticulated. You sat up on the bed.
„Eddie, but this is not about me at all! I mean, what didyou expect? That I will happily watch you climb almost to the ceiling and jumpinto people who can easily not catch you? That I will just stand there andsupport you in this? I think I told you clearly enough yesterday how importantit is to me that you stop with it. And if I remember well, you promised me.“ Theblame was on his side, so he didn’t have any right to accuse you of anything.
„I know! But as you can see, nothing bad happened and I’mhere. It’s a part of the show! I want to give those people something they won’tever forget, do you understand?“ he continued with his silly arguments.
„Yeah, how nice of you that you care more about other peoplethan me,“ you said. Eddie probably lost his ideas how to reply, so he justuttered: „This isn’t leading to anywhere.“ And then he left the bedroom.
„Idiot,“ you said quietly to yourself as you were layingyour head back on the pillow. Soon you heard the running water form thebathroom and despite your strong wishes you couldn’t fall asleep even thistime. You tensely laid with closed eyes as he returned to the room.Surprisingly, he obviously thought that you were really sleeping, because hissteps and moves were very quiet. He slowly laid next to you under one blanket.First few minutes he kept silent, but you could feel his open eyes.
„Y/N? Are you sleeping?“ he whispered.
„How could I?“ you responded. Then he carefully threw hisarm over you, taking your hand in his. He sticked to your body from behind andkissed your shoulder.
„I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have done any of it, I’m such anasshole. You’re the most important person to me in this world, so if you reallywant me to stop with it, I will. I’d rather see disappointment in thousands othereyes than in yours. I love you so much, Y/N,“ he said quietly, causing yourheart melting.
„Why do you always get me so easily, Vedder? I hate you,“you smiled and pulled his hand up to your lips, where you kissed it.
„This doesn’t look like hate,“ he laughed slightly, leaningin for a kiss. You let him play with your lips for a while. „Mmm, and thisdoesn’t look like hate at all,“ he continued kissing you, slowly getting on thetop of you. Your hands disappeared under his tshirt, exploring his muscularbody. His lips landed on your neck and softly sucked the skin. As his handsstrayed under your tshirt as well, you couldn’t stop yourself from breathingloudly. All of this was great for his ears, because he knew he was doing a goodjob on you. Once he rolled your tshirt up and caught one your nipple in hislip, you gasped and tugged his hair a bit. You could see his content face as hestarted going down little by little. And yes, his expression was enough for youto turn you on. You felt his hot breath and wet kisses everywhere on your tummyand later even on your thighs. It took him so long before he finally got whereyou wanted him the most. He skilfully removed your panties and threw them away, while you were eagerly waiting for his next action. He returned to your thighs, paid a little more attention to them and then made his way up. As soon as histongue touched your clit, your grip in his hair tightened. He started off verygently, circling his tongue around and gradually increased the intensity. Hewas tasting you with the tip of his tongue by tesing you in the area of your entranceevery now and then. You were writhing under his touches and because of all the delight. When he’d decided to use a finger to help you come, you were high up in the skybecause of how good it felt. You even had to let go of his hair, because you weresure you’d have tugged them out.
„Fuck, Eddie,“ you moaned, crushing the sheet between your fingersright before you reached your climax. Then Eddie rolled down your tshirt again andmade you lay on his chest. He gave you little kisses in your hair while you werestill catching your breath. You ran your fingers to his long hair and played withthem, because it always calmed you down. „I love you,“ you murmured to his chest.
„I hoped to hear this,“ he smiled, „good night, Y/N.“

Hello! I'm a little new to playing GMS - I've been following it before but was disappointed to hear that it was getting canceled, but apparently not anymore. I just heard that Sebastian is getting a route which made me download the game. For someone who's just starting, do you have any tips? I typically don't spend money in these games so I was wondering if it will still be playable in that case... Thank you!
Tumblr media
Hello and welcome!
Okay so I’ve actually been considering putting this information out there so I guess this is a perfect opportunity!
😳That or you were reading my mind.😳
First things first:I get you not spending money on the game, it took over a month before I gave in to it myself.  But I must remind all players that the reason (that we know of) that the game was discontinued in the first place was due to it not making enough money.  So I really must promote the idea of those who can afford it and really love the game to spend a little to show their support.
That said? You don’t have to spend money to enjoy the game. At least not the main story lines.  What it does take is patience and a schedule to get the most out of the game.
So you’re most likely going to have a little stumble near the end of the route as a new player.  It’s going to require you to have a lot of Sweetie Points to pass the checkpoint, and it might take a day or so to get it.  But then you’re good.
Sure you’re not going to get the premium scenes, but honestly the non-premium are good too!  They can be hilarious watching the guys play off each other, or cheesy, or cute, but still a delight in their own ways.
Now for the beginners and people just plain new to “Guard Me Sherlock!”
[undercut link for mobile users]
Tumblr media
So you’ve found your way here; either by being a fan of Sherlock Holmes, being a fan of other games done by @shallwedateapps, or by being a  fan of dating games in general, but you’re here.
You may be sharing the same thought I did when I first read the game’s title: “that’s a silly name”, and yeah maybe, but the game is more than that.
The Story!
Okay so we have MC and she is:
clever
kind
strangely accepting
naive at the most inopportune times
an actress
and a bit snarky sometimes
So the prologue is her meeting the guys, the male characters in the story:
Sherlock Holmes
John Watson
George Lestrade
Mikah Hudson (child)
Mycroft Holmes
Hercule Poirot
Jeremy Cassel
James Moriarty
Sebastian Moran (his route is up next!)
and Jack Stillman
Though not in that order per say.  From there MC works her way to the point of asking Sherlock for help, and the problem is determined by the story you’re starting.
During which there are quizzes throughout the season one stories and getting them correct can result in winning small prizes like extra energy points for Hide & Kiss.
The Characters/Main storylines!
Tumblr media
So once you finish the prologue you have to decide which route you’re going to play.  Just talking about the season ones we have:
Sherlock Holmes
It’s a sweet story of Sherlock coming to terms with these strange new emotions he’s feeling all the while assisting MC in dealing with threats and sudden attempts at harming her person.  All which seems to circle over the fact that she took her current role over after a passing of a dear friend.
John Watson
Sweet and funny story as MC has John’s help in trying to figure out what happened to her uncle.  He seems to have gone missing but has left a small trial for his niece to follow. Course being worried for her safety John seems like the best candidate as a bodyguard, though to not arose suspicion they need a reason for him to be with her everywhere… fake engagement anyone?
James Moriarty
While there is not a lot of diversity in scenes, there are some breath taking background drops.  MC wanted Sherlock’s help in finding out if everything is on the up and up for the next play she is in.  He told her to go through with it unless she heard otherwise from him.  Day comes and she is goes to get ready for the play, which will take place in a few days, on a train. With Moriarty as the benefactor.  It’s a whirlwind of flirtation and ‘what ifs’.
Mycroft Holmes
Not really one for fake engagements?  How about a fake marriage?  Mycroft is subtle throughout his story, and there are times MC can be… *flashbacks and kill bill sirens* but this is thought to be one of the most romantic stories within Guard Me Sherlock though the mystery doesn’t come into play until the later act.
Mikah Hudson
~let’s do the time warp again~ Jumping into the future, MC has been living at 221B and seems to have missed the point where Mikah became a man.  While helping Mikah’s friend they open up their feelings towards each other.
My schedule to get the most out of my game:
I wake up and use 2 tickets before 7 am
Clear my energy points, and then go to work
At lunch I clear the hide & kiss points out (you get 1 point per 3 minutes, 20 points per hour)
This is also usually when I use my one free slot spin a day
When I get home I decompress and either wait till after the game updates (7pm cst) or before it is there is a biscuit boost, and I spend all the tickets I have (which is either 3 - 4)
This way I keep my tickets at specific intervals throughout the day to make sure I get 6 tickets a day as there is 4 hour wait in between each and it stops counting once you hit 5.
So I asked @cinnamonteaandbiscuits what she would give as advice to a new player:
“You can exit out of the story if you think you’ve picked the wrong choice.” (you just hit on the arrow in the upper right corner, and select home, that will let you do that chapter from the beginning as long as you don’t go all the way to the end)
“Don’t skip the previews. They’re hilarious!” (So true. Also areas where you can learn more about the other guys in between or during times they’re picking on each other.)
Be aware of your room situation when it comes to points.
Hide & Kiss
When it comes to hide and kiss there are a few things to be aware of.
When you start a session and pick a guy your style in your room should reflect their taste.
Sherlock & Mycroft: elegant
John & Mikah: Sexy
James: Cute
The more points you have in that style the more sweetie points you can earn.  Up to a point.  If you’re hitting 58 - 70 points per magnifying glass in the last room you’ve hit max.
In biscuit collections each tap in Hide & Kiss is one point.  So if you’re trying to earn those biscuits you’re better off using the room that takes the least amount of energy points.
Alright so I hope that was helpful!
If you’re looking for a brief history as to what’s going on with the game  I did a brief little catch up with releasing routes back on January 5th before we found who out it would be.
And if you’re interested in my headcanons and/or fanfictions please feel free to check out my Masterlist
