so who’s going to give me a plot set post season 2 where joyce doesn’t find out buffy is a slayer and she has to go through with the “we’re in a band” with spike cover story to keep up appearances for her mother and spike takes it seriously and buffy is just like “spike, it was just a cover, we’re not actually in band” and spike is all “bugger that, im singer and you’re on drums, slayer” and all of the scoobies take it seriously besides buffy. like, who’s going to give me this? i cannot be expected to be normal about this

tfw you find a breeding project component with the exact colours you've been trying for for 4 years now (but on the wrong gender) almost immediately after having just hit the button to breed your two current components for that project.................

on the plus side, because this new component is a G1 and has no lineage, they're breedable with my pair's offspring!! so I can FINALLY get this damn thing over with quicker if I get a female hatchling with closer colours..... murk/bronze/peach ♀ you shall elude me no longeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer /shakes fist

#watched west wing episode college kids (s4ep3) today and uh…#got Buffy flashbacks. remember when Aimee Mann performed This is How it Goes and Pavlov’s Bell in that Buffy ep when Spike first gets his #soul and is being tormented by the first and gets into a fight during her set and then she has the only bit of dialogue ever said by a #performer at the bronze “this is why I hate vampire towns”#they were crazy for that honestly. anyways love Aimee Mann she slays. don’t understand why the barenaked ladies were playing at a campaign #event for pres Bartlet bc they’re literally Canadian like it’s a pretty fundamental thing about them. also love how they didn’t actually #have the barenaked ladies they just had four vaguely middle aged guys shot from far away holding instruments while One Week played in the #background. also why did Donna mention Chrissie Hynde if they were actually gonna put her or any of her music in the episode.#they really got my hopes up for nothing there same with Sixpence None the Richer tbh but to a much lesser extent #west wing #btvs #nia originals

#did you know the most intriguing part of WoW lore to me is actually...#...#the infinite dragonflight! and by extension the bronze dragonflight but honestly ever since first meeting the infinite dragonflight in uhhh #the culling of stratholme i've been really intrigued by them and why they are so 'bad'#i know they're doing things that disrupt the timelines but all the things they're trying to 'fix' seem like genUINELY GOOD CHANGES #but like i get it and i know why they're the bad guys and why bronze are good and why nozdormu doesn't want to become moruzond #anyway i got to do a quest today that had the infinite dragonflight as an ally in today and i'm very happy #i really hope there's stuff about the aspects in this lore book i got...#puri rambles #the dragonflight actually mean a lot to me contextually with wow as well #all my best memories are from raiding during wotlk (which had a lot of dragons and had me questing for alexstrasza #one of my earliest raids was me covering for a missing guild member and doing the eye of eternity #and then AGAIN in cata my final raids before i stopped to focus on education was dragon soul #and honestly i kind of thought that was the end of the story with the dragons so #anyway i've rambled a lot but basically uhhh #blizzard bad but wow was a lot of my teen years and i am attached to it and i am thankful i still get to play it sometimes #even if i have to make sure i limit myself because i can just play forever and ever

Some more crossover ship art of the Harbinger and Accursed Crack ship featuring Aris and my Harbinger Thuban from @justpked Beyond the Spider Lilies and Fell Star.

As much as I love the potential romance of two terrifying single parents falling in love and combining their families, their courtship would be awkward as hell. PK has confirmed that Aris doesn't know how to flirt and has zero dating experience despite the fact that he has two potential suitors in the game, Prince Intira and Canna. Likewise, Thuban may be charming and has probably had her share of lovers during her long lifetime, I headcanon she had a very on and off again relationship with Death and their is definitely some romantic history with Meidh. She hasn't dated anyone in over a couple of thousand years, so lbr Thuban would be very out of touch with the dating scene as well.

Can you just imagine the both of them trying to ask for dating advice? The best suggestions are probably coming from the kids. I could easily see Shian and my MC, Seleni, becoming the best of friends and would definitely want to become siblings for real when they notice their parents start "like liking" each other.

Tbh Aris, the most successful dates with Thuban are just taking evening walks together in the garden after the kids are asleep. Both of them just enjoy each other's company sharing conversation and a bottle of wine. Just the casual intimate moments where they can forget they're royalty or the an omen of the void, and genuinely joke, share stories, and gradually grow closer emotionally. Possibly some physical gestures of affection like hand holding, kissing, and affectionate biting...what Thuban is still a Beast in her true Abyssal form a bit of playful nipping is a common form of affection for many animals. Besides, Thuban needs to tease Aris back for biting her during their first encounter. Granted, they thought that the other was a potential threat at first, and Thuban did disarm him, tbh she wasn't even that mad she was impressed Aris had the audacity to try biting the Harbinger of Calamity with his blunt human teeth while fighting for his life.

Reading through my old Woman of Truth stuff, and by far the funniest joke is that for most of Steve's sections of the first episode, there's a lot of fuss being made about this top-of-the-line stealth jet, fresh from Ferris Aircraft, cost the US millions, potentially billions of dollars, full of advanced technology...

...And after Steve crashes it on Themyscira, in the High Council chambers, Io calls it 'horrifically primitive'. 'I mean, it still uses combustion engines, for Hestia's sake! Do they still not have anti-grav?'

Shoutout to that Soldier: 76 teammate I had in one of my games of Competitive Capture the Flag yesterday. They looked at me, saw I was low health, and just... Put down their biotic field unprompted before running off to keep fighting the enemies. Almost burst into tears because of how sweet that was.

#type: thoughts #i saw a post about morally gray characters and like #it's a very complex Guy. but from #tav: aria #'s pov it's both less complex and more complex #and im chewing on their dynamic again #she feels responsible for how everything ends. she can't stand him. he's familiar and almost comforting by the end. the silence is deafenin #she tried to kill it. it manipulated and lied to her at every opportunity. she mabipulated and lied back. it held a whole ass person captiv #for an indefinite amount of time.#like this is not a healthy dynamic. but she has so much regret about how things end #AND THEY WERE BOTH BEING MANIPULATED BY THE BRAIN.#<- critical To Her. bc the brain brought them to the end. thru him. so how much of a victim was he. in her mind she drove him back to the #brain in the end out of his own complete lack of options. to the one thing he wanted to escape. and In Her Mind #she did so by Not Being Willing to sacrifice #ch: orpheus #when presented with impossible odds. she looked for alternatives she *tried*#but when #ch: the emperor #is the one she has to sacrifice when facing impossible odds (the wrath of a would-be god vs the wrath of a would-be god)#it's 'i have to'.
