The New Girl #2

Juvia had wandered around the school, completely oblivious to the fact that she had attracted an amazing number of eyes from classrooms that she passed, all whispering about what a beautiful girl she was.

The last place Lucy took her, however, was a spot at the cafeteria where two boys were seen eating at a table, along with a red-haired girl who had a somehow fierce look for a face. The red-haired girl had seen them together and smiled at them as she waved, earning the attention of the two boys.

Juvia felt herself stiffen as she tried to conclude her next moves. Should she join them? Should she sit with them? Should she eat alone? Or just stay silent as they joke? After all, they looked like a bunch of loud people, to begin with. The questions had all lead to one single question; what should she do next?

"Join us, Juvia," Lucy smiled invitingly. "You shouldn't eat alone on your first day." The three other people had all stared at her, waiting for a single response from her. She had felt incredibly uncomfortable, and had decided that she should join them, or else she would feel more uncomfortable.

"Okay," She squeaked, and when she looked up, she saw one of the boys, the messy, dark-haired, raven-haired boy with the gorgeous lynx-like dark eyes and the beautiful smirk playing on his lips, had gave her one dangerous smile.

A smile that had made her heart dangerously skip ten times faster.

All the while she was eating, the group of friends were asking her questions. It turned out that the tanned boy, with salmon-coloured hair - "See? I told y'all it was salmon!" The boy had shouted smugly - and the seemingly-lively eyes was Lucy's boyfriend, the infamous Natsu Dragneel.

The red-haired beauty with the fierce look for a face was Natsu's adopted sister, Erza Scarlet, who had the demeanour of a she-demon who could scare anyone away with a mild snarl. She was currently seeing a mysterious boy from a military school, who Natsu claimed to be a terrifying boy he knew from his elementary days, known as Jellal Fernandes.

Now, the one that Juvia had currently been attracted to was Gray Fullbuster, the school's athlete and boxer. Unlike Natsu, he was calm and collected, and had the nerves to shrug girls off his shoulders.

The trio, along with Lucy, were one of the top twenty students of the school, and were constantly being targeted by the board. The point earned from the bunch of friends had caused Juvia to be ashamed of herself. She could admit, she was one of the brightest students of her old school, but sitting with the best students of her new school was a completely different level.

And all the while, a certain dark-haired boy had been glancing at her since the past few minutes.

"What classes do you have?" Lucy had asked her with that gracious smile of hers.

"I've got ... Algebra, Calculus and ... English Lit."

"Oh! You have two classes with Natsu and me, two classes with Erza and every class with Gray! Brilliant!" Lucy had clapped her hands in delight and Juvia never noticed that Gray's cheeks had tints of pink on his cheeks.

But she knew better than to voice that out, because her cheeks had also turned pink.

The Black Sheep

My mama decides to only have two kids the oldest being very fucked up, leaving the youngest to always be someone savior. I’m not trying to save nobody. I barely can keep myself from drowning and you want me to share my life saver with a 200lb man that has 38,000lb worth of problems.

No one seems to ask me how I feel, and even when they do they not asking to understand just to make it seem like they care to hear. I want my side to be understood. I want everyone to understand why I’ve shut down, why I don’t just jump back to being okay.

I’m tired of folks putting him first, his feelings, his thoughts, his rage! But my feelings are selfish. My thoughts are inconsiderate. My rage is uncalled for.

Little by little I feel myself pulling away. Becoming less acquainted with the only folks I’ve ever been familiar with.

But I’m definitely ready to become The Black Sheep of the family.

The New Girl #1

Juvia tightened the scarf around her neck as she watched snowflakes falling to her feet. Giggling to herself, she kicked the snow under her feet and began singing a little song. She was beginning another school year at a new school, and such opportunity to meet her first-time-ever friends wouldn't go to waste.

Juvia wasn't really a social person. She was a shy, low-profile girl who had little to no sense of fashion and liked to sing to herself rather to people. Her shyness was incredible, and she was the most innocent person, the nicest girl anyone would ever know.

That was her, a week before, and that was also the current her. But she had friends.

On the first day of school, Juvia was too shy to ask her way around, so she ended up bumping into people, one of them turned out to be the most beautiful angel she had ever seen.

"Oh god, are you okay?"

"Yes, yes, I'm okay, Miss."

"Miss?" The girl had smiled kindly at her before adding, "You must be Juvia Lockser, the new girl. Want me to show you around?" Juvia was floating for some reason. She had to be dreaming. This beautiful girl had just offered her a tour!

Juvia nodded readily and smiled gratefully at the girl, blushing a little.

"I'm Lucy. Lucy Heartfilia." She smiled again, and her smile had made Juvia jealous. She could never smile a smile like Lucy's, surely she wouldn't be able to be too happy to be here? Each school should have its bullies, and the thought had crept to her spine and caused her to tighten her grip on her scarf.

Juvia cleared her throat, inwardly telling herself to give the school a shot. At least, with Lucy Heartfilia as her tour guide, things might not be scary as she thought it would be.
