Firstly tbh I think 'problematic' is a rough term, but in short, yeah, rita (we're on a first name basis now apparently) has a long history of career success based on blackfishing. She also broke lockdown rules in Nov 2020 by paying a restaurant £5k not to report her so she could have her 30th birthday (lol. except it's not funny is it it's serious). People also find her general career annoying but honestly I don't think there's anything wrong with doing whatever you can to be in front of the camera because, like, that's her job, so let's set that aside.

I unfortunately was susceptible to the Rita Ora propaganda when this interview came out in the Independent and started to kinda...like her. In the way you like your friend's messy cousin whose drama brings joy into your life. It helps that I am obsessed with her sister Elena, who seems to be her manager, handler, PR, publicist, and best friend all wrapped into one and is literally doing that better than like...the entirety of the Marvel team. "Why is Rita Ora here what is she even famous for" IT WAS ELENA. I would also bet money it was Elena who organised the damage control Independent interview and honestly, props. Excellent mopping up after the Covid fiasco. I want to study her in a lab etc.

It really confused people when Taika and Rita started dating (late Feb 2021, if you want to know the timeline so you don't have to be crazy like me and investigate it), but my hot take is actually that this is totally unsurprising and makes sense wrt what we know about both of them & their personal lives. Now THIS is when it gets really parasocial. You asked.

They have a similar group of friends - they were friends for 4 years before "complicating things" (absolutely deranged way of putting it, Taika, thank you) - and a lot of overlapping circles. They're both loud and ambitious with a tendency to overcompensate for nerves by just getting louder and more annoying, they're both party people who drink and dance and [redacted redacted]. Taika had just gone through his (now officially self-confessed! everyone say thank you Lie Detector video) 2018-2020 mid-life crisis and was filming Love & Thunder. CRUCIALLY, they had similar childhood experiences based around culture shock and forced assimilation - if you're reading this you probs know about Taika's experiences, but the tldr of the Oras is that they fled Former Yugoslavia just before the war and moved to London. Both Elena and Rita (first name basis here is killing meeee btw) have talked about the difficulty they had in adjusting (though Rita was just a baby). The Ora management team and inner circle still to this day consists mostly of the children of fellow refugees who moved to London at the same time and are childhood friends of the sisters. Elena stepped into the management role at 18 because their parents didn't have a good enough grasp of English to keep Rita safe in the industry. SO: broadly familiar childhood experiences on both sides, plus a tendency to keep close to friends and people you trust, etc etc.

In terms of them being good together - I literally don't know these people, obviously, I've just been obsessed for two months so I have a disturbing amount of knowledge in terms of what they choose to show us. In short: they seem happy. They seem to want to do similar things - go to shows, be papped, go to parties, get shit-faced, travel, and be domestic. There's this recent picture from the Dior show where she looks so happy it made me physically recoil from the screen.

Rita also talks in the Elena Propaganda Coup interview about how she has been in consistent therapy since she was fifteen because of crippling anxiety and panic attacks, and Taika recently mentioned in the Wired Autocomplete interview that he's now in therapy ("Who is Taika Waititi? Ask my therapist, that's what we're trying to figure out." [everyone who has watched Boy 2010 breathes a sigh of relief]).

FINALLY FINALLY the recent hyperspecific leak to the Mail and the Sun (not linking because I refuse to give them clicks but..) about their probable engagement and low-key wedding reads very much to me like a strategic planting - either because they knew the story was about to leak and wanted to get ahead of the story, or because they were throwing the press a bone in the hopes that they'd be left alone for the actual wedding. ELENA STRIKES AGAIN. The fact that the Mail keeps referring to Taika as "Rita Ora's fiance" (scream....so funny on so many levels) without either team issuing a denial is half a confirmation. Taika did fully dodge the question on This Morning which made me yell bc fuck Philip Schofield but is also NOT A DENIAL. Either way the idea that they're having a tiny wedding at some point in the near future without wanting it on social media spells happiness to me (not that having a big wedding means you aren't in love. then again this is a post about rita ora I'm cancelled already). Rita obviously wants kids and a big family and everything that entails so this was a fairly predictable move for them (predictable if you are me and Zoe @wolfhalls who seem to be psychic when it comes to Rita/Taika moves. What a useless skill). I just think it's cute I guess.

BUT TO SUM UP. Yes she is insufferable. Yes she's definitely privileged and ignorant. Yes the COVID thing was absolutely stupid and feels like a hugely coked up impulsive move to me. I think, much like he does with Adam, Daniel wld get along GREAT w Mallick!! I like 2 think tht they have very similar senses of humour + their snark levels r pretty evenly matched. Eric doesn't ever say as much, but he LOVES 2 hear thm go back n forth, ESP when Adam joins in - its just like. his 2 weird boyfriends bonding w his kid in a way tht has them all laughing n in high spirits n enjoying each other's company and honestly? Eric lives fr little moments like that! he loves getting 2 hear his living room filled w laughter and love and light like tht. sometimes he'll just lean against Art's shoulder while he's helping him cook dinner n listen to th three of them in the living room, voices carrying over th bg noise of th TV, n he'll close his eyes and sigh. it means SO MUCH 2 Eric to have his partners get along so well w his son.

I agree w what u said when I asked abt Adam/Mallick/Lawrence - tht Lawrence will often act affectionately disgruntled when his bfs r engaging in Shenanigans/just in general. so like he'll be reclined on th couch w a book or maybe he'll be in th kitchen helping Eric and/or Art, n he's sighing n shaking his head but he's smiling so wide it kind of hurts bc this is a family. this is smth he hasn't rly experienced b4 - Diana is his whole world, his sunshine n he loves her more than anything, but he didn't have this w Alison. as I've seen it mentioned b4, they were just playing house, grasping like straws at th hollow replication of the so-called suburban American dream, and its like. Lawrence doesn't truly grasp th gravity of tht statement until he's standing in the kitchen n listening to Adam Mallick n Daniel talking and laughing and sometimes infodumping back n forth. he doesn't realize what he's been yearning for until he takes over watching th pot boiling on th stove so Art can make his pasta sauce, until Eric comes up behind him n wraps his arms around his middle n rests his cheek against his back for a little bit. this is all Lawrence has ever truly wanted n I know I said tht w Eric too, but like. this is Lawrence's family, just as much as Diana is. n he like has to take a quick moment, set th wooden spoon down he's using 2 stir th pot w the pasta itself in it n just breathe. n Eric just Gets It, y'know? like Lawrence doesn't even have to say a word 2 know he's understood n its just. he's so so happy, for all his (entirely feigned, this man has such a big heart) exasperation n sighing. he loves these ppl. this is his family.

smth tht is very important 2 Lawrence regarding Daniel is tht he makes sure they know he's there fr them. u've mentioned this b4 also, but Lawrence has a very unique understanding of what Eric went thru as a parent who had a child tht was Also endangered by Jigsaw, n as such also has tht unique understanding of helping his child cope w what she went thru during her Own experience. he makes a point to sort of make himself available fr Daniel like tht bc yes they aren't Diana, and yes Daniel isn't his kid, but he still Cares abt them + is more than willing 2 pass on some of th stuff he's learned while helping Diana cope w her own experience (he's very careful abt this, bc he doesn't want 2 like. take tht role frm Eric, esp when he's doing much better in his recovery. but they've had talks abt tht b4 n Eric makes it very clear tht its okay). I think it takes Daniel a lil bit 2 approach him on their own - not bc they don't trust him or bc they think he's intimidating - but once they do, its very beneficial fr both of them tbh? even if they're not discussing the Nerve Gas House/Bathroom/what have u its a rly nice thing fr them to just sit together n talk.

Lawrence, like Art, is a good listener but on th flip side: Daniel tends 2 look to him fr a solution, or at least smth he can do to like. take his mind off of it fr a bit. a good avenue of this is tht Daniel has a mild interest in th medical field, so he often likes listening 2 whatever Lawrence is willing 2 tell him abt on tht front! n its still smth Lawrence is very passionate abt (he DID return to working in th hospital eventually, after all), so he honestly rly enjoys getting to talk abt it every now n then! so like sometimes Eric will come home frm work n see Adam sat on th couch next to Art + with Mallick's head resting against his thigh while he plays w his hair, n Lawrence n Daniel are spread out on th floor deep in discussion abt what Lawrence had done at work tht day/a topic Daniel had specifically requested, sitting diagonally across frm each other w their feet touching while they roll a ball back n forth bc Daniel focuses easier when they've got smth to fidget w and its just like. this synchronicity. shared heartbeats n breath n space. they've never belonged anywhere more than they all do right here, in this moment, together.

You stood in front of the mirror, placing the gold graduation cap on your head. It was a bittersweet moment-- you were happy to leave college, but you would miss the experiences that came with it.

At 22 years old, you held a 3.9 GPA while taking the most challenging courses and leading some of the most successful clubs at a high-tier university. Despite all your responsibilities, you managed to read your favorite books and watch the best television shows. In the end, you always balanced your time to get the most for the least amount of time. But it would all come to an end today because you were going to graduate.

You left your dorm, calling you family to let them know that you were on your way to meet them. They were ecstatic to see you after four years of separation (despite meetings during breaks). Suddenly, a small white rabbit trotted down your path. It limped. Something tugged at your chest as you watched the rabbit stumble through the grass. Although it was injured, it wouldn’t stop running towards the flower field. It clearly wanted to be there.

“Don’t strain yourself. I’ll help you.” You scooped the rabbit in the palm of your hands and walked to the field. The rabbit squeaked, but you assumed it was aimless chatter.

Once you arrived at the flower bed, you placed the rabbit onto the grass.

“Goodbye, I hope you find your way.”

Its beady eyes followed as you stepped in the direction you had come from. As you walked, your foot collided with a large rock. You fell over as all your weight had been shifted to the injured leg. Although you braced yourself for the soft grass, your body never hit the ground. Instead, the wind rushed to your face and your hair flew in different directions. Once you opened your eyes, you realized that you were falling from the sky.

The next set of events all happened in a blur. You landed in the arms of the Black Army King, somehow encountered and angered the red army, found out that you held magic-repellant properties, and were stuck here until the next full moon. Currently, you were wondering in the middle of a dimly-lit alleyway. It was a lot to take in.

However, you had injured your foot. It seemed that the rabbit had transferred his limp over to you, making you wonder if you could’ve avoided the whole mess if you had ignored the rabbit. You stomped your foot to assess the pain. All was well until a painful tingle crawled up your toes. The sudden pain caused you to stumble. It wasn’t terrible, but you hadn’t expected it to hurt that much.

“You alright there?”

You hopped around, trying to keep your toes in the air. The 7 of Hearts, Kyle Ash, stood at the ends of the alleyway.

“Yeah, I’m good,” You waved him off. But your hopping and pained smile gave it away.

“Don’t worry. I’m not going to drag you to the Red Army. I just want to see your injury and make sure it’s nothing too serious.”

“I don’t have any reason to be suspicious of you. It’s not like the King, Queen, and Jack of the Red Army were trying to cut my head off earlier.”

Kyle shrugged. “That’s their duty. But my duty as the doctor is to ensure that everyone is safe and healthy. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from.”

After a moment of debating in your head, you realize that it would be difficult to continue walking with your pained toes. You peel off your shoes. The toes were swollen with large bumps of redness. Kyle stepped closer, inspecting the shape of each toe. You were uncomfortable with his closeness, but he didn’t notice.

“You have some bruising, but nothing seems broken. However, you can come with me to the Red Army to get that double-checked.”

“No thanks, I’m good.”

Edgar Bright

As you limped around the street, you realized that you needed a permanent place to stay. Your instinct was to find the Black Army. Ever since you arrived, they had been extremely kind and supportive of you. Besides, their protection ensured that the Red Army wouldn’t be able to harm you. You wandered around, looking for anyone who could guide you to the Black Army, but the streets were empty. Only the rustling trees kept you company.

“You look a little lost,” A soft voice spoke.

You jumped and turned around. It was the Jack of Hearts, who was probably trying to kidnap you. You thought about running, but your bruised toes pulsed in pain, reminding you that you were in no position to run.

He took a step closer. His right hand was stretched outwards while his left hand gripped his crested sword. The moonlight illuminated half of his face in a soft glow, while the other half was engulfed by the shadows of the night. Although there was a smile on his face, there was something wrong with it. Angelic but sinister.

“Do you need some help? I can show you the way back,” Edgar said.

You decided to talk. There was nothing else you could do but delay the inevitable.

“Actually, I do. Would you mind reopening the portal to another universe and send me back home? That way you guys don’t have to worry about me destroying the Red Army and I won’t have to worry about an army trying to kill me.”

“Is that how you got here Alice? Well, I suppose I could see if the King of Hearts could arrange that. Although we could provide you with a place to stay for the time being.”

You looked around. Although you couldn’t see anything, you were sure that there were soldiers stationed at every corner. It was the only thing keeping you from limping your way out of the town.

“Right. As if you guys aren’t going to lock me in a dungeon and torture me.”

Edgar’s smile widens. “I can’t guarantee that.”

“I don’t have much of a choice, do I?”

F A T E

After Edgar brought you into the Red Army, you tried to run away twice. However, it was none other than Edgar himself who had caught you each time. While he never told anyone about your attempts, you were always worried that he’d tell someone. So you’d try your best to appear as likable towards him as possible. But as time went on, your facade turned into a genuine friendship and romantic feelings.

You ended up working with Kyle at the infirmary. Your sharp skills and quick thinking made you a perfect candidate for helping out the Red Army’s doctor (although Edgar thought you would make an excellent swordswoman). At first, it was difficult dealing with the goriness, but you learned to adapt to stressful situations. With practice and time, you became known for your work as Kyle’s assistant.

When the full moon came around, you were placed with a difficult decision. Although you had grown to love the Cradle, you know that the real world had endless opportunities for you. You hadn’t worked so hard to be the best student at your college just to throw it away for a few magical men, so you asked the Red Army to send you back. Edgar decided to escort you there as his final goodbye.

As you stood in front of the portal, your old memories rushed back to you. Laughter with your friends, smiles with your family, and the excitement of your upcoming graduation. But when you turned back to say goodbye to Edgar, your mouth wouldn’t open. There were just as many wonderful memories with him. If you turned your back on him, this would be the end of it all.

So you turned around and ran towards Edgar. You wrapped him in your arms and felt tears rush down your face. The feeling was bittersweet, but you had made up your mind.

You were going to stay.

yoon jeonghan is part of the city barista squad

and the laziest one

he requested to work on making the coffees and less interacting to customers

bc he does not have enough energy to ask the same thing over and over lol

it’s fine with their manager bc his co-worker is luckily hoshi

so hoshi does the talking while jeonghan does the drinks

their shifts start right after seungkwan’s and seungcheol’s

jeonghan makes the best coffee out of the four workers in the city

seungcheol is the worst

and people love his coffee so they often ask if jeonghan is around

he often takes nap on the storage room when there are no customers

which is also the reason why he smells like coffee all the freaking time

besides the fact he makes them, he also sleeps with the packages of coffee beans hahaha

since jeonghan is a multi-talented barista, his latte arts are very known in the city

people would tag him on social media for making such a beautiful latte art

seungcheol is so envious of him

ofc, his rosette latte art is the best and the most wanted design

sometimes. he’d try to make cute animals

or a trail of mini hearts

jeonghan is pretty famous too

one time, he encountered the same situation when the girls didnt know what to order bc they dont drink coffee

anyways,, jeonghan loves his job

but he also loves it when his shift ends bc he goes straight to the nearest park

he will have a cup of creamy coffee in his hands while he sits on the bench and inhales some natural breeze

you somehow stopped yourself from ordering a latte art bc they seemed really busy that time

but you stayed there for a while, waiting for the customers to lessen in a bit, until there were only a few of them when you made your way to the counter and a cute guy with small eyes smiled at you widely

you looked at his named tag, and it said ‘soonyoung’

then you looked at the other barista whose back was facing you

and you couldnt help but stare at his broad shoulders

and his lean torso

and his silky light brown hair

until ‘soonyoung’ cleared his throat and you snapped back to reality

“hyung, i think she’s one of your fans”

slafksa your eyes widen and shook your head too immediately, and you were like nononononono

ofc, jeonghan turned around to look who this person soonyoung was pertaining about and he found you, and saw your flustered face

it was so embarrassing

and that time, you wanted to punch this soonyoung in the face for jumping to conclusions easily

luckily, jeonghan didnt ride soonyoung’s trip

the sight looked so cute in jeonghan’s eyes so this brought a huge smile on his face

as he stopped by it, he leaned down to match your height and rested both of forearm on top

who is this handsome guy and why does he smell like coffee

your head jerked away from the closeness of his figure to you,,,,,and it was so awkward so you put out a hand and introduced yourself

his eyes were closed and his arms were crossed on his chest, a cup of coffee was resting beside him,, and he was also wearing a white button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up which looked so attractive on him skhfasljs

you thought that he wouldnt mind your company so you quietly sat beside him, and jeonghan wasnt bothered at all

this made you jump from your seat bc,, did he see you?? with his closed eyes??

but you tried to play it cool, “how did you know it was me?”

“no one really approaches me except for you” he chuckled, and finally opened his eyes to look straightly at you

and you swore, a bucket of butterflies was poured in your stomach

knowing jeonghan, his shift in the coffee shop was done at that time,,,but that was the only time you found out that he likes chilling on the park

and you were taken a back bc,, you never saw him there, considering that you are always at the park too

this brought the two of you to another stage of friendship,,,when you visit jeonghan, you’d wait for his shift to finish so both of you could chill on the park and talk about stuff

if the weather’s not good, he wouldnt ask for you to stay in the cafe but you’d end up still staying bc you enjoy his presence too much

there are times when jeonghan has to work overtime,

and if there are no customers, he’d bring you to the storage room and continue to hang out with you

soonyoung gets very suspicious,,, bc he thinks you and jeonghan do something pg there

but truthfully, you were just lazily talking together

the others found out about your relationship friendship with jeonghan

and seungcheol was so sure the boy is in love with you bc he forgets his nap hours just to hang out

and he thought you are going to be jeonghan’s distraction and jeonghan would not be able to make good coffees anymore

there was a moment when you somehow realized that you already have feelings for him too,,,and you were kind of scared bc your friendship with him has grown so much and you didnt want to ruin it bc of your feelings

let’s not forget about jeonghan’s fans, right???

so one day, you were chilling with him again, when a group of girls came inside the shop

with soonyoung greeting them enthusiastically, they saw you and jeonghan being all giddy and happy while talking to each other

you were not sure if jeonghan saw it but you caught this girl giving you a glare

and she whispered smth to her friends and they gave you a glare too

tbh, you didnt like ppl giving you that kind of treatment, and jeonghan seemed to notice that you became quite uncomfortable, asking if you were okay

when soonyoung finally took their order, jeonghan excused himself to make the drinks

you might or might not had been watching his figure as he make the coffees

when he came back to hand the drinks to the girls, one of them had the aUDACITY TO WALK ON YOUR DIRECTION AND ‘ACCIDENTALLY’ SPILL THE VERY HOT DRINK ON YOU

you yelped in pain, jeonghan was shocked and panicked, the girl pretended that she was sorry, and her friends were quietly enjoying the scene

jeonghan ran from behind the counter to go to you

“can you be more careful next time?” you asked bitterly

and boy oh boy, the girl was like “maybe if you weren’t blocking the way and flirting with him then this wouldnt happen to you”

jeonghan for sure was so mad from what she said,, and you were not having it

“maybe if you were actually really nice then jeonghan would have flirted with you, but you’re not.”

jeonghan bit his proud smile from what you said, but he was still kind of mad from what the girl did to you

“pls be careful next time and try not to hurt any customer” he said, a hint of annoyance was evident in his voice

then he turned to you and whispered “come with me”

you followed him to the storage room, and the girls were left in surprise,, while soonyoung cleaned their mess

as you entered the room, you plopped down on the small seat and a pout came on your lips “they ruined my shirt” you muttered

he was getting something from his bag, then he handed you a hoodie, “change your shirt with this, i’ll be back”

then he was out of the room,,

when you replaced your ruined shirt with his hoodie, an unfamiliar manly scent lingered in your nostrils

it was jeonghan’s real scent

not the coffee scent

but his real scent that smelt so manly

when he came back, he had a cold compress on his hand, and squeezed himself beside you

the drink was spilled on your side and near your chest, so jeonghan hesitated for a second before pressing the compress

“do you want me to do it or you can do it by yourself”

you chuckled at how flustered he was, ofc, you got the compress from his hand and put it inside the hoodie

while you did that, he snaked an arm around your shoulder and pulled you closer to him

then pressed his cheek on your forehead

“i need to ask my manager to ban ppl from going here if they’re going to cause any trouble”

and as he said that lowly, you wanted to melt in his arms bc he’s so sweet and concerned to you :’(

“no, i want you here. if you stopped coming, i’ll resign and apply to the campus cafe then”

that time, you were so sure that the feelings are mutual

so,,,,you pulled a way to have a better view of his face, then pressed your warm lips on his cheek

“spill. are you in love with me???”

“and what if i am?”

“i dont believe you”

then in a second, his lips connected with yours,,and he didnt pull away until you kissed him back

when the two of you separated, he muttered under his breath “you taste like coffee” and earned a subtle smack on his chest from you

and you started dating on that day thanks to the girl who spilled coffee on you : )

jeonghan didnt resign on his job,, but the girls just stopped showing up in the shop and he is more than glad

you’d still visit him, and he’d still give you a latte art

esp when you’re not feeling very well, he’d make a heart design for you

jeonghan just loves you so much

when you couldnt visit him, the two of you would just meet by the nearest park and you’d have your time together there

when he’s not working, you’d go into park adventures with ofc, a cup of coffee

bc jeonghan, parks, and a cup of coffee are your love :’)

omg my memory has faded so much already but im finally gonna get this out of my drafts and maybe. make a new post or add to this if i think of anything else. also i’m sure a lot of this is gonna be out of order sorry ;;

HAPPY EVER AFTER FANMEETING 080419!!!!!!!!!!!

they started with 24/7=heaven and followed up with i like it pt 2

during i like it pt 2 when namjoon uses jimin as a telephone jimin shouted “MOSHI MOSHI” so loudly akjgflhjgf

bts was saying that a special guest had come to the fanmeeting that day and they were like “where? look around..... can u spot them....?” and everyone in the crowd was like peering around and then bts was like “the special guest is you, army!! hahahahaha”

hoseok started introducing himself and then pointed the mic at the crowd to finish with “hoooooope!” taehyung did the same he introduced himself as taetae and pointed the mic at us to say it back

jimin had like three rounds of cheers before he even got his introduction out bc he kept halting every time he was about to speak

jin began his introduction w his patented soulful stare and then gave a big flying kiss but jungkook stuck his hand in front of jin’s hand and threw the kiss out to the audience as well so jin turned to him after and was like “what was that? what do you think you’re doing??” jhfgjf

yoongi was sitting between tae and jin and when it was his turn to introduce they like helped him take out his in-ear monitor so the crowd could cheer for him

when the host was speaking during the introduction tae kept playfully hitting his arm in an “oh, stop it” way and then would switch cutely gesturing for him to continue

when they were introducing the memory clouds they started reenacting haikyuu (i heard they did naruto the first day?) mostly with taehyung, jimin, jungkook, jin and they made some references/may have said lines from it but i haven’t watched so i can;t say for sure akjfgh

ironically i’ve forgotten a lot of the memory cloud stuff akdhjfgjkfgh they teased jimin abt if he was gonna get jungkook the mansion he asked for for graduation and also they showed a vlive of namjoon’s where he was using cute filters and he looked like resigned but still a little embarrassed that it was being shown fkjghg

they talked abt whether jimin had grown taller and he claimed he had so they got jimin and yoongi to compare heights, at first jimin stood on his tip toes so on the screen he did look much taller but namjoon pushed him down and made him stand properly. they were p much the same height but honestly jimin was trying so hard whereas yoongi looked like he wasn’t really putting his all into standing 100% straight

at one point when the host asked jungkook was like “i’m more grown up than the oldest so i take care of him often” and namjoon chimed in like “jin’s a child” and jin was like “a CHiLd?????? i just act that way to be on same level as you guys!!”

i forget how they started talking abt it but the host was asking tae abt john legend and tae said that in his mind they had the kind of r/s where they could go out to eat like. burgers or smth I CANT REMEMBER but then he started singing all of me and he stood up to turn to jungkook so they could do a duet and jk harmonized so well... and the others were all like “yahhhhhh!!” afterwards

they divided up into groups based on how far they could jump..... yoongi didn’t even try he did a hop backwards. during jin’s turn jimin jokingly did an imitation of him doing a jump in place and jin seemed to be like w/e and did a small jump forward. jimin did like the longest jump and was SUPER self satisfied

their teams for who would get the costume punishment were hyung vs maknae line and maknae won with the photo of grubby jungkook in hawaii ajhfg i was cheering for hyung line a) i love them b) yoongi shouted the loudest “せーの!” to get us to cheer and i didn’t want to let him down. but their costumes were funny so

they kept joking abt namjoon’s costume because even though there’s a bigger difference w english pronunciation lemon in japanese sounds very close to rapmon in korean. also they called yoongi “suga(r ) candy”

jungkook took a bite out of namjoon’s lemon costume and made a face like he was tasting smth sour and later when he walked jin down the walkway he pretended to take a bite out of him as well

jimin walked hoseok down the walkway near my seat first while singing happy birthday to army and tried to blow out the costume’s candle, then tae and namjoon walked down it like they were models on a runway and at the end tae pretended to chop namjoon up

jimin then walked yoongi down the other side and since his candy cane costume had a green bow he was like “isn’t this like christmas” and started singing last christmas to him, then he told him to hurry up and yoongi started strutting and when they got to the end jimin went around to his other side to take a bite out of the candy cane

hobi kept doing silly dances in his cake costume and they did baepsae he did the dance break wearing it

during good day jin and hoseok started serenading each other and the others kind of gathered around, tae got up in jin’s face and jk was holding onto his shoulder while namjoon slung an arm around hobi and then jimin and yoongi kind of just watched on w amusement lol, then they all turned and gave hearts to the crowd

otsukare song was like a huge party i genuinely thought i would cry if they sung it but it was just way too fun also i dont even remember paying attention to them during it i was just singing as loud as i could. edit: also i was trying so hard to catch a star i was looking up like the whole time!!! i wanted one so badly but none came close enough ;;

there was an interactive rhythm game where the members were assigned an emotion with a gesture/yell to go with it, the teams were jin (love) tae/yoongi (scary) namjoon/hobi (surprise) jimin/jk (fun) and their team’s yell was nochu! at one point they tried to mix it up and say chimchim! instead but jimin was like haha nah .

they each went to a walkway and the 94z team stood on the one nearest to my seat, then the danger and bs&t mvs played on the screens and when the symbols for the emotions passed everyone’s army bombs changed to match the colors and we had to do the gesture/yell. i think hobi got bored and started dancing up on namjoon during bs&t at one point and namjoon was just like I’m Used To It.

there was also an interactive rock paper scissors game! the section of the audience that i was in didn’t win though i lost almost every round lol. the pre-recorded turns for the members looked like they were filmed on the same day as run eps 49-50 because the outfits were the same

mic drop dance break!!!!!!!!!! super cool. not much else to say.

during tae’s line right before the bridge in dna jin hooked an arm over his shoulder so he couldn’t sit and then for the bridge pretended to whisper into tae’s ear while singing his line and tae pretend-whispered his line back. when jimin popped up he gave a little finger heart

their individual filters for go go were so cute... i think jin and yoongi got switched up in line but regardless yoongi was very coy and cute during his time up the crowd really went wild for him

sakaguchi kentaro came!!!!!! the real special guest. the members were talking about signal and mentioned he came and they shone a spotlight on him and he waved, then jimin pulled at his throat a bit to get ready to sing and hobi “helped” by like chopping him in the windpipe ajfhg and then jimin started going down the walkway towards where his seat was basically serenading him with don’t leave me and the others followed up, jimin asked to call him hyung and hoseok like asked for his number in front of a stadium full of ppl akhfghfg get it hobi.......

omg i literally like. i know there are so many things im forgetting but i waited too long to finish writing this ...... bts fried my brain it truly was an otherworldly experience im lucky that i remember any of it at all

Jung Kook watches the blonde as he tumbles over the back of the couch, his long legs hitting the coffee table in Yoongi's apartment with a deafening crash. He winces. He doesn't move to help him up because, God, that could go wrong in so many ways. Instead he waits till Taehyung has finally righted himself , apologized profusely to everyone in the vicinity and settled back against the dirty couch before making his presence known.

"You've had enough, Taehyung. Lets get the hell outta here." He prods him at the base of his skull and Taehyungs head lolls forward, his chin hitting the edge of his collar bone.

"Jung Kook... I love you."

Very few people actively react to the confession because its a standard equation. Kim Taehyung plus alcohol equals love confessions to all and sundry.

"Yes, blondie. I know. Now get your ass off the couch." Jung Kook walks around to stand in between Taehyung's legs, hands slipping around his shoulders in an attempt to yank him to his feet. It works quite well and he soon has a swaying , wasted Taehyung, teetering on his toes, one arm draped around his shoulders the other clutching a glass of champagne .

"Will you marry me?"

"Of course. I'm all yours." Jung Kook is too amused to sound sarcastic.

"Forget about Eunha. I'll make you happy."

Jung Kook stifles a smile.

And then it happens. Taehyung kisses him. Its never happened before and Jung Kook is stunned. Too stunned to realize he almost, kinda , maybe a little , likes it. Likes it so much that he kisses back, their tongues tangling and hands getting frisky, right there on the balcony and only when Taehyung knocks one of the flowerpots to the pavement, Jung Kook comes back to his senses.

Taehyung doesn't remember it the next day and Jung Kook sees no need to change that fact.

Kim Taehyung is an enigma.

"You won't believe who I ran into today. " Jung Kook exclaims excitedly , practically flouncing into their shared apartment, a bagful of Taehyung's favorite snacks and a carton of beer held in his hands. Taehyung relieves him of the baggage and hums a question.

Jung Kook waits till he's on the couch, pulling off his socks. He wants to share his big news in the most amazing way ever. Like a punchline or something cocky so that Taehyung would be like No shit ! Potter really?! Wow! That is totally awesome!

He glances at the blonde , who's pouring a glassful of beer ( which is totally dumb ) and finally gives up. He's never been good with words and he can't wait to get the news out.

"Eun Ha. She's back from Egypt."

The sound of shattering glass has him on his foot, staring wildly at Taehyung who has blood running down his palms and is looking at him with a blank expression on his face.

"Oh, shit, are you alright, Taehyung?" He rushes to his side but the other is already swearing and kneeling right into the shards on the floor and Jung Kook rolls his eyes , slipping an arm underneath the guy's armpits in an attempt to pull him away from the massacre on the floor. But Taehyung pushes him away. So hard that Jung Kook collides with the dining table catching himself at the last second.

"i.. I'm fine. " Taehyung is shaking, his eyes flitting wildly between the shattered glass on the floor and the blood in his hand. He mutters something and without warning punches the dining table, nearly splintering the wood.

The pain seemed to bring him to his senses,

"Oh, fuck. I'm sorry, I-" Taehyung looks clinically insane and Jung Kook reaches out, stopping him from hurting himself further..

"Hey. Its alright. You.. you should take it easy. I'll take care of this." Jung Kook mutters.

He wants to take care of the cut on Taehyung, but he's not particularly good at that.

He carefully cleans the cut on Taehyung's smooth skin and tapes it up. He stops for a second to admire his handiwork .

"there, all better." He places a kiss on Taehyung's finger and feels his entire body seize up. Taehyung bounds to his feet and with a mumbled 'goodnight', disappears into his bedroom. The sound of the door slamming follows almost immediately after and Jung Kookis left blinking in confusion.

"You're welcome!" He calls out to the closed door.

He doesn't get a response.

"Oh, Taehyung. You're home?" She moves forward but Taehyung is already shrugging his coat back on. He waves his wallet a bit.

"I was just here to get this. You guys.. you should.. you know.. continue with..."

And he leaves quickly , before any of them could be more embarrassed.

Eunha smiles at the locked door and turns to Jung Kook.

"He's a lot more handsome now." She says, running a finger up and down his jaw.

Jung Kook is too busy staring at the freckled skin of Eunha's neck to make sense of her words.

"Who? Tae? Oh.. Yeah.. He's awesome. Now, where were we?"

Kim Taehyung is an idiot.

" Taehyung, why would you-?" Yerin looks stunned when she finds out that Taehyung is the blind date Eunha has set her up with. Didn't Eunha know about how badly the guy was in love with Jung Kook??

Taehyung quickly shushes her and drapes an arms around her shoulder and squeezes. Jung Kook frowns, not sure why he's manhandling the poor girl.

After dinner, Jung Kook moves to the rest room and Yerin goes to talk to some of her friends at the other table. When they return, Eunha is flushed and red.

"You're still the world's biggest git , Kim Taehyung. Jung Kook,I'd like to leave." She gets up, prodding Jung Kook's shoulder. Jung Kook catches the sneer on Taehyung's face and automatically mouths what did you do?

Taehyung shrugs , calmly drinking his wine and making no attempts to apologize for whatever he's done to Eunha.

Later, Jung Kook confronts him.

"What the fuck was that?"

"Maybe you should ask your precious Eunha."

"She's too nice to tell it out loud. She told me she doesn't want to come between the pair of us. What the hell did you say, you moron?" Jung Kook snaps.

Taehyung looks stunned.

"Forget it, Jeon. Since you've already decided who's mistake this is, I'm not going to hang around and justify myself."

"You're a fucking idiot!" Jung Kook screams at his retreating back.

The door slams shut in his face .

Kim Taehyung is heartless.

"I'm moving out." Taehyung announces and Jung Kook works hard to keep his face neutral. Like it isn't really a big deal. Like best friends ceased existing without warning and friendships dissolved everyday.

"Fine."

Taehyung packs all his clothes and stops at a Mario figurine.

"I'm taking this." He says , quickly picking the toy up.

"What-No! I paid half! And we bought it for the house. So its supposed to stay in the house." Jung Kook snaps, holding his hand out. Taehyung sneers.

"Whatever. It getting a new house. I bet its sick of sticking around with you anyway".

Jung Kook opens his mouth in shock and then pounces on Taehyung. They roll around on the couch, the carpet and the coffee table till their hair sticks up in odd angles and they're both breathless and panting.

"I'm not letting you leave with that." Jung Kookglares.

"I'm not leaving without it." Taehyung glares right back.

"So don't!" Jung Kook snaps. Taehyung looks stunned and then collapses against him.

"Fine." He mutters.

Jung Kook fights to keep the goofy grin off his face.

Kim Taehyung is unpredictable.

"I proposed." Jung Kook says casually.

Taehyung doesn't reply. They're both sitting on the stairs leading to the terrace and Taehyung is smoking .

"She said yes."

The cigarette drops to the floor and Taehyung snuffs it out before turning to him with a smile.

Its wide and bright and blinding and so fucking artificial that Jung Kookis embarrassed.

"TAe, I..."

"I'll kill you if you apologize."

Jung Kook gulps, nodding.

"I might not make it to the wedding." Taehyung says casually and Jung Kook feels a bit wronged. Maybe Tae was a little possessive of him but missing his wedding?

"What? No! Come on, Tae... I was hoping you'd be my best-"

And Taehyung explodes.

"Okay stop! Okay! I've had enough of you and your fucking obliviousness and God knows I've put up with more shit that any half-wit should but I'm not going to stand here and pretend I'm happy for you and that its alright for me to come and stand next to you in a big fucking church while you swear your love to some other ..." He stops , glares and rushes out and Jung Kookis too stunned to do more than blink.

Jung Kook doesn't go after him but when he does reach home he finds that Taehyung has vanished. With his things.

And he has left the Mario behind.

Its a train wreck and Taehyung thinks that Jung Kook's lucky that Taehyung's already madly in love with him because there's no other way he'd enjoy this confession.

"Christ, Taehyung. A little help here?" Jung Kook finally grunts looking heavenward in exasperation. Taehyung carefully wraps a finger around the waistband of Jung Kook's pants and yanks him to the couch. Jung Kook yelps. Lands on the taller boy with a plop.

"You're so clueless , ?Jeon its rather endearing."

Jung Kook rolls his eyes.

"I just-"

Taehyung kisses him, slow and smooth and Jung Kook whimpers , the sensation new and frightening.
