dude its twice now that ive tried to play origins multiplayer minecraft servers that happen to be mandatory roleplay for some reason and its just wild that they like, want you to come up with a whole entire person before even playing, especially with worlds that feel... bare bones as fuck, from the information they give

like they give an origin story of the world and maybe like one or two sentences on the races or cultures, and then theyre like 'okay now give your character an entire in depth personality, backstory, family history, job, life goal, childhood dream, credit card number-'

like... with what info ?? with what basis??

the second one ive joined isnt as strict as the first one, seeing as i joined the minecraft server before i even realized there was character applications, and no one really paid me any mind at all or acknowledged me

but there was one i joined like 2 years ago that you had to get your application approved before gaining access to the server, and they direct you to their wiki for reading up on the world and stuff... but again, bare bones as fuck. and i exaggerated before slightly, but fully seriously they asked me 'oh, and where did your characters origin come from? their grandparents getting infected? how did they become this way' and its like. DUDE I DONT KNOW, WHO CARES. WHO WILL ASK ME THAT IN THE ROLEPLAY??? like where am i supposed to even get any of this shit from, the two paragraphs you typed about the world origin story??

i didnt finish the application because that was stupid and it wasnt worth it imo. shame, cause the custom origins were cool, but theres always other origins mods and servers

like... i guess other people work different from me, cause clearly these servers have people in them that somehow came up with functioning characters, but that aint me. if i make a character in a game, their personality and story comes to me while im playing, through their experiences and appearance and the choices im given in the world.

Qiqi didn't remember anything but she felt scared when she was at the dark, she needs to hold Baizu's hand while sleeping now.

Nilou stoped doing dances on your name, in fear that she might do or say something wrong and she might be deleted. Her menager is worried about her, as she was starting to get popular with those dances in particular, why sudden fear for wrath from you?

Knights of favonious now have a Church day to give offerings to you and barbatos, so that you will feel more at esse and less angry.

Speaking of gods..

Venti is dissapointed in you. How dare you kill those innocent people? Even though no one seems to remember you still had no right doing that!

- they are literally the angel and devil on his shoulder, but married, and also in love with him

- what no no bring Sulu back. That was such a good delivery of lines I am so

- this episode shows the power imbalance between Kirk and Janice and that messaging could be more powerful if they really wanted. Like showing how Janice felt forced to say she was okay with it and wouldn’t tell anyone because it was the captain I feel was a big step to take in the 60s (because it was rarely if ever talked about especially on tv) but it still wasn’t enough and was treated horribly in the end. They brush off her experience and also let Kirk be near her which is not okay. I know they wouldn’t but I wish they’d actually addressed the fact that Kirk can pretty much get away with anything and the crew wouldn’t/couldn’t stop him unless they deem it truly necessary (which would be way to far)

- I think the Kirk stuff could be more impactful

- some of those close ups on Kirk are crazy

- Bones is so damn worried about him in the transporter room

- SPOCK IS STRESSED AND HE HESITATES

- “the imposters back where he belongs, forget him” but isn’t the thing is that he is you? Like he’s still there and apart of you, Kirk

About language brainrot. Imagine writer creator reader who finally learns how to write in Teyvat's weird symbols and they want to publish their book. They decided to do it anonymously to avoid the "aaaaaah our creator wrote the holy scripture" sort of situation. Except it didn't work. The reader's style is too different from the rest of the world, so even if they tried to simulate the flowery speech it wasn't effective.

Another thing. Reader who decided to read some local books to practice their reading. They asked for something simple and similar to their speech. But the only books merely similar to it are 2000 and more years old. It's funny how the older text is the more you can understand it. On this note. If reader write something i feel like it would be hard to understand for Teyvat's people.

Imagine a reader who is autistic or has any other NDs imparing their communication skills. They practically trained themselves to say sertain phrases in sertain situation. But it doesn't work in Teyvat. And everything just stacks at each other. Difference in speech, being a God (so people react weirdly to you), bad communication skills, not understanding nonverbal cues and so on. There's gonna be a lot of misunderstanding. I imagine how followers would walk on the eggshells not to upset and angry their God and reader who does the same not to say something people will get wrong. Again.

Reader who regained all their memories of creating Teyvat, they're super powerful and stuff. But they still struggle with the modern language. Because all the memories are like millions years old.

Like I could not bring myself to care about anything but Furina after Focalors revealed everything. I wanted everyone to die for what Furina had to go through. Fucking GOOD RIDDANCE FONTAINE. Furina could have been so much more open if those ASSHOLES didn’t shame her for being herself. FORCING HER TO PLAY UP THE DRAMA LIKE WE DONT HAVE OTHER GODS WHO ARE ALLOWED TO BE BENEVOLENT AND KIND LIKE SHE WAS.

FUCK FOCALORS ESPECIALLY. Separating herself from Furina and the game having the fucking AUDACITY to make it about her.

“Oh but that was also technically Furina she deserves praise too blah blah blah” Yeah all FOCALORS had to do was SIT AROUND in the fucking ORATRICE waiting to DIE. That is not NEARLY AS BAD. And she had 500 years to make peace with it and still had the nerve to be scared.

And just… Neuvillette didn’t do anything wrong, but I’m SO FUCKING PISSED AT HIM. I think it because he’s ascended while Furina gets nothing. I know she gets a vision in her story quest but… just… ugh….

I’m happy with how Act 5 was. I genuinely think this is probably one of the best quests in the game because I have never been this moved by any of the previous quests. Like I cried for Carrihoe but those were happy tears and I could calm down quickly after that. It might also be because it’s late and I need to sleep but just… ugh…

Furina…

The entirety of Fontaine owes you everything. Neuvillette owes you his ascension.

Furina deserves an apology. From the Traveler, from the gang, from Neuvillette especially, from FOCALORS. I know she got one, technically, that little “I’m sorry go be a human🥹🥹🥹” bullshit.

Furina’s story is so uniquely tragic, and this feels like the first time immortality is actually being used as a curse in a heavy way. At least from what I’ve seen, I’m sure there are many other great examples. But the fact that Furina was a human girl and had to lie and never make any meaningful personal bonds with anyone for 500 years. She had Neuvillette but he’s a dragon. How many years did it take before he started “trying to feel like humans did.”

How many years did Neuvillette spend in complete distain for Furina because he was a dragon serving his usurper?

How many letters did Furina send Neuvillette encouraging him to make friends because she couldn’t?

I don’t hate any of the other Fontaine characters. The Fontaine Siblings still have my heart, Navia is still one of my favorites, Clorinde and Wriothesley are so fun, and Neuvillette is one of the best characters within Genshin.

But Furina is on a whole other level. She deserves the world and so much more. The amount of therapy she needs is probably not even enough for the short lifetime she has now. The amount of deprogramming she’s gonna have to endure, as well as the people of Fontaine. As far as I know right know, the story that the people have is that Furina was tried guilty, sentenced to death, the prophecy came true immediately after, no one drowned, and then Furina just left. So while everyone knows she’s not the archon anymore, they’re also gonna have to relearn after generations of seeing Furina as their god to just seeing her as a person.

I want Furina to reach the happiness she deserves. She deserves it the most.

And in the 1998 version the situation is much more ambigous cause Vash is talking to the "kid" but he hasn't turned back at all yet and Wolfwood shoots

so it's more unclear who is right in that situation while in this you can see Rolo is sorta just frozen there and thinking so you're inclined to Vash's side more

Now inside the House is just so incredible looking.

The small details on the blanket on the bed, or the pictures on the wall. The fact that you can make out what they are at this distance is just so cool okay.

Again, the details on the items on the shelf, or in the flowers in the top right-hand corner.

It's just incredible how detailed stuff is and I love it.

pre-shb thancred teaches ryne how to trap and skin a rabbit. and it's half about illustrating them living on the run & thancred teaching her survival skills. and half about the symbolism of it all. and ryne looking at the rabbit. this tug between "yes thancred interacting with me and teaching me, awesome i love positive attention" + "i love living out in the world and being Free" and... the rabbit, hungry and naive, baited into the trap. and thancred looking at ryne and trying to decide whether to have her be the one to kill it. or for him to kill this poor creature who just wanted to live, who he needs to die, in front of her. and they clean it, cook it, eat it, but when they go to sleep ryne can't get its shivering form and big glassy eyes out of her head. pre-shb urianger taking care of ryne for a month while thancred splits off to throw off a eulmoran tail. urianger and ryne hanging out and having an alright time. half about their relationship (the sweetness, but also the tough spots - urianger's role in ryne's existence (he is guilty about it, while he's the most normal adult in her life so her brain is incapable of being mad at him about it (or is it), ryne's mixed feelings about how thancred is always happier and relaxed and nicer when they're at the shelves (yay he's happy! vs i wish i got that all the time, i wish he thought me worth his best self) (in general there's a lot about the ghost of thancred in the room); half about them exploring the ruins of the bookman's shelves (i firmly believe there are underground cellars), its neighbors, and voeburt in general.

urianger childhood lore. i had some headcanons about him being raised by an old, frail, distant grandmother which got squished a little by ee3 but the new lore is in line with my hc that urianger was neglected as a child and tbh im delighted for confirmation. some stuff about the augerelt family in general. their house (smaller than many in journey's end) having rumors of being haunted. moenbryda. autism.

urianger, moenbryda, thancred, and y'shtola (plus yda?) as teens in old sharlayan, for whatever overlaps they had in the city as youths. i strongly believe that thancred & moenbryda were closer than thancred & urianger were as teens. i also think there's something with y'shtola being forced to leave the colony (and also being raised by y'shtola) and away from matoya and thancred's teenage years spent in Spy School (where they melt your brain) that could result in two really temperamental, angry, resentful teens. louisoix delegating moenbryda to try to be a good friend (good influence) to them, urianger getting taken along for the ride

thancred teaching ryne how to swim.

oh my god yes. im just kinda gonna start dumping thoughts here with no organization im so sorry but here we go

so first of all i know i will never get this but my ideal rose ongoing would be her working mostly alone but sometimes teaming up with people bc she doesnt like to stay with anyone for long but she DOES work with other people when she needs them

shes been in gotham for a while so id prob keep her there and have her team up with other ppl in gotham every once in a while bc. i want her to. i just think gotham is a good place for her because it is a city of the most stubborn people in the world so she would fit right in

id prob have her do kind of the same thing she was up to in Fresh Hell and taking down various crime rings bc i dont really see her caring much about the costumed villains, not to mention there are a hundred other vigilantes in gotham for the Big Bads

also having her in gotham kind of opens up so many roads SO. gotham vigilante teamups <3 first things first i feel the need to say her and bruce would not have any need to interact and i dont think either of them would really want to fhdkjfhdsf like rose is trained and mostly doesnt kill people so i dont think batman would really care what shes doing until she does something bad, and rose wouldnt really like batman (for various reasons that i wont go into rn) so they would kinda just be doing their own thing

ANYWAYS in general i think that the idea of rose teaming up with bats is sooooo funny bc most of the bats are very meticulous planners and make whole schemes for everything they do. while 90% of the time roses plan is "im gonna go in and start punching people and see what happens" so i think she would give whoever shes working with an aneurysm and thats kind of hilarious to me

i want her to team up with steph and cass for homoerotic reasons because they all have so many narrative parallels, ESPECIALLY with cass so i need them to team up again <3 idk what they would be up to besides getting on each others nerves but i need it so bad

honorable mention teamups are babs who im pretty sure ive already talked about a babs&rose teamup before so i wont go into it, helena who i honestly have only read in bop so idk a lot about her but from what i do know i think she and rose would get along, harley who i would only want her to team up with because it would be a fucking mess, dick who i want her to team up with because it would also be a fucking mess but in a different way (renegade arc part 2 but this time theyre both heroes so rose can annoy him even more), duke who i want to include just because i love him even though i cant imagine any reason for him and rose to interact, young justice who arent all gotham heroes but i want them to be around to temporarily absorb rose just for fun, and the entire arrowfam who have no reason to be in gotham but i just want rose to fuck around with them as a treat to ME

as for slade. i think that their relationship is best written when it is really complicated for her :) so i need her to fall back into the cycle of going to him and looking for his approval and being constantly disappointed and angry when he refuses to give it to her :)

anyways ARCS. i dont have a lot of specific ideas for arcs besides another arc of rose giving up the name ravager (bc it didnt fucking stick last time), an arc making her a lesbian (stop booing me im right) and maybe an arc of rose killing slade then immediately spiraling about it bc :))))) yippee :))))))))))

🌟 - what does your f/o do to help comfort you about your insecurities? what do you to do comfort them about theirs? kaira sucks at comfort lmfao. man cant even comfort himself. but i think he would be the type to just to.. literally go.. "im the snake king, you're the one i chose." like who gaf if youre the snake king. enma still in the castle like he own the place. but anyway. think he would be the type to just try to use actions over words. one of my biggest insecurities is my nose. i think.. nose kisses, bopping it, trying to be a sweetheart over it all. stares at my face a lot, doesn't say anything which is really creepy at the same time cause he has this really intense stare. but its only cause he finds me to be so pretty.. but he doesn't want to say it out loud because he's shy about it all. but eventually, he starts to use his words. "you're pretty.." he would mutter in a soft, gentle voice. and then just look away cause he's stupid shy over it all.. NOW ONTO ME COMFORTING KAIRA. OH MY GOD.. now listen i said this a million times. all i gotta do is be there.. i just stay near him, i promise im not going anywhere soon and it brings him such joy. he knows he wont be alone. he knows he going to be okay. i think also reminding him and reassuring him that other yokai respect him as king and love and cherish him as well also works too.. like idk just taking komasan to visit the castle and he just smiles at kaira and asks him about his day and is just soo sweet to him. i think also telling him that i understand what its like to not feel like i belong to certain communities. how isolating it is. but hey, we got each other right? it helps him feel less alone in a sense too. like we're alone together (no su.) think when he's like starting to feel stressed or tired or feel the world is against him, i would want to press my hand against his and just hold it. press soft kisses against his head and tell him that its okay to cry once in a while..i think if he ever did cry. i wouldnt tell him not to cry. he really needs to let it out and he doesnt want to be vulnerable to anyone else at that point. so he cries quietly so fuu and rai dont hear it. but this is the first time he felt like he was allowed to be weak and i want to be there for him through it all.

💛 - what is something most people consider a flaw of your f/o that you find endearing? why is it that you like that trait? despite knowing kaira's existence since i was 16 years old, i have never seen people talk really negatively on him. lemme come up with a lie rn. what if i said i liked his outbursts? like okay this is crazy but hear me out on this.. it feels so human in a sense of he's acting entitled because he's hurt? he's been holding onto his hurt for years and he's finally lashing out all that anger and pain that he had to suffer through alone. like it's so reasonable for him to be so angry in a sense.. like it makes sense that he's calmed down in the game, but my god, when i saw that mission when all that emotion was even felt through his ancestors. OH MY GOD..i had so many thoughts because wow he really doesnt talk about his problems with others huh? the only time he really talked about it was when he was TRYING TO KILL ENMA? but other than that jesus christ? wow. you're a man who's been refusing to get therapy, refuses to tackle the issue head on.. it's realistic in a sense? why would he turn to anyone when he's so convinced that others see him as a freak or as an outcast? the world turned their back on him. turned their back on his family. turned their back on his tribe and treated them as less than. i would be scared too to open up!! ohh it so endearing i would throw everything away to tell him how important he is.. like yay or whatever. glad he's starting to realize how loved he is. but i wish they went more into how much pain he went through i need more lore on his tribe. like dont play with me.
