Despite that, heat prickles on the back of his neck where Liam’s lips were pressed seconds ago. His ears feel hot too.

Sherlock turns just enough, his side pressed closer into Liam’s chest, that Liam’s hand slips from his shoulder down to his elbow.

“You were sitting up in bed with the windows wide open again weren’t you.”

The other doesn’t answer, he doesn’t have to, it’s obvious; there’s the smell of a crisp breeze and morning dew radiating off of Liam; Sherlock twists around fully now. One hand presses firmly to Liam’s right cheek, lets the cold seep away into his palm. Meanwhile the touch to the other side of Liam’s face is delicate, feather-light, skimming just below the bandages while his gaze follows along to confirm the white fabric is still neatly tucked in place from helping to change them hours before.

This close, he can feel the warmth of Liam’s breath against his lips with every exhale; he searches that single red eye that stares back at him, unfaltering, yet molten with a tenderness he has yet a name for.

Sherlock leans in closer. Ah, his nose is still so cold—

“Not burnt.”

“What—“

“Not burnt,” Liam repeats, words brushing into Sherlock’s lips, “The eggs. Any way is fine, just not burnt.” A pointed nudge to his elbow to bring his attention at the stove.

“Gah!” Sherlock whips back around and flips the eggs out of the pan onto a plate before they brown any further.

The laugh and the smile pressed to the back of his neck is worth it, he’ll eat burnt eggs happily every morning in exchange for that.

This man has taken over my life, him and Valentino. I’m actually pretty proud of this, I haven’t been able to draw Vox in awhile, but I stuck through with it and I was able to do relatively okay! It isn’t like my other drawings, when I just turn it purple, so that’s amazing. (It’s still a little purple, but fuck that shit) Please, I have been surviving off of Character AI for so long now lol- Mostly just doing shit like where the character I play just bursts into Vox’s room, scolds him for being a workaholic, and tucks him into bed. Because the man needs sleep I swear- Side note, I head-cannon that Vox hates caffeine, but he drinks it to stay awake. Valentino loves sugary stuff, and Velvette drinks it black (Because of course she does, she’s our queen) I swear, I have a need to pump out a ton of shitty art for The Vees. StaticMoth art, Solo art, Duo art, and of course; the Trio art. I have the urge to draw them sleeping, with Valentino using his wings as like a gigantic blanket. Oh! One more thing. I head-cannon that both Vox and Val hate people touching their broken antennae, because sensitive, but they allow their close friends/families to touch them. So like only the other Vees. That’s fun. Please, please, please! Drop off your head-cannons and random rants here, because I love reading them, and I’ll love reading yours!

I had a minor surgery/procedure today I was super nervous about but everything went well!!! everyone was so attentive and nice, it made the experience an absolute breeze and I felt really comfortable and reassured ;;_;; couldn't ask for a better care team!!!

just got a couple days of healing ahead but super blown away...just had to share it out into the world!!! the care team even wrote me a handwritten note and added it in to my stuff ;;_;;

there has been A LOT of personal stuff going on the last couple months but finally getting to chip away at stuff, and getting medical providers that are helping eith the burden... I'm extremely lucky and thankful to have that experience !!!! can’t wait to get back to art…. can’t wait to hopefully feel some kind of relief soon!

Yeah stein and spirit are so special to me because, being arospec and queer, I’m not typically a fan of conventional romance. I like that they have known each other for so long and they immediately fall back into routine and see them loving each other through all those years but not jumping into relationship

They need time to rebuild what they lost: trust and companionship. That’s what most important to their relationship and I like the idea of them recognizing ‘okay we love each other but we’ve got other things to focus on, to work on. But we’ll always be there’. They will always be there for each other, they have an understanding of each other that no one else can compare to.

They both have problems that they’re working on and they’ll be patient. They’ve loved each other for 15 years and they’ve been separated for so long and they found each other, even if it was forced by lord death ha. They’re important to each other and they can’t just let each other go. They’ll be patient and they’ll be there when they feel they’re ready for a real relationship

i’d like to think she has a nice quiet life after the cataclysm. that she’s able to relax in hill home. i think i’ve said this before but i think bev lives with her for a while, and that they kind of fall into patterns of him being an actual kid for a while. instead of summering in hill home, she summers at the crick, her son’s newer home. she spends time with jolene, and they have dinners where they talk about their crazy kids. she goes all out when it comes to bev’s wedding, and is pleasantly surprised by her husband showing up, a gift from some gods who owe the boobs 10,000 favors. it’s the last time she sees him while she’s still alive, but they don’t dwell on that. they have a wonderful day.

the rest of her life isn’t what she expected when she married a man on the track to become captain of a major paladin order. but it was full of life and love and happiness. and it was a perfect kind of imperfection.

I think often ifrit gets hurt randomly because he’s large and forgets that and is just a bit absent minded when it comes to regular safety precautions. Luckily zephyr knows way too much about first aid and health because they’re chronically ill.

Obviously cue zephyr making ifrit sit on their bathroom counter while they tenderly clean a cut on the palm of ifrits hand (he grabbed the knife the wrong way while cutting up some fruit for a batch of cookies).

They even grab ifrits other hand so he can squeeze it when they have to clean the fresh wound. Bandages it up with some gauze and skin safe tape.

Yes ifrit asks them to kiss it better. Yes Zeph complies after rolling their eyes just slightly

Them’s the Breaks, Kid is the only Raeda thing in the show that is all comfort. Change my mind.

I’m in the middle of yet another Raeda brain rot at the moment and since TtBK is my comfort episode, I wanted to make this.

Let’s begin!

Eda’s Requiem - They reunite, share a beautiful duet and give us some of the best Raeda moments of the show, only for Raine to get captured at the end, which leads to we know what. And honestly, this episode is more painful now not just because of their history together by that point, but we also know what they’re gonna go through with the DOU.

Knockin’ On Hooty’s Door - Raeda breakup time! It breaks my heart in every way!

Follies at the CDP - I don’t think I even need to explain this one. And it’s 50x more painful after TtB.

O Titan Where Art Thou - Their talk on the crystal ball makes me cry a bit every time. Eda wants to keep her kids safe and Raine wants to say everything to her but has to keep their cover. But they also want to keep her safe which is just so sweet and just- AHHH! -incoherent gibberish-

Clouds on The Horizon - Raine worries for Eda almost the entire episode and I cannot blame them. This very easily could’ve been the last time they ever saw each other and that is something I really don’t wanna think about (I say, knowing I have a full fic chapter on that very subject).

King’s Tide - “Don’t- don’t tell me not to worry” “I promised a special kid I’d protect you”. Avi Roque’s delivery on both lines is like a stab straight to the heart. You can really tell that before Eda went up, Raine wanted to say absolutely everything but couldn’t. Holy Titan, it hits harder than I remember.

For The Future - Holy shit. That’s all I can really say about this. We may have gotten Raine’s glorious reaction to Harpy Eda as well as Eda’s “I just like to visit Raine” line, but neither of those will ever heal the pain brought to us by Raine being turned into a puppet and then getting possessed by Belos. I can feel the angst from the finale from here.

And after all that, there still remains one episode I have yet to talk about: Them’s the Breaks, Kid. Here, we get adorable young Raeda fluff, both of them instantly becoming besties and being awesome together while fighting a coven head, and ending it with the incredibly badass scene of Raine revealing that they weren’t brainwashed and declaring to keep Eda safe, while at the same time silently saying to us that they still are still deeply in love with her. If that isn’t an episode full of comfort, I don’t know what is!

You can try all you want, but you will never change my view on this.

I think the difference between how dnf acted during the vlog and in recent streams is so beautiful and so telling.

During the vlog they were jumping, bouncing with joy and you could feel their sheer happiness radiating from the screen. It was a sense of giddiness and excitement at the start of something new and the continuation of something old. In recent streams however, the excitement and happiness to be together is still super clear and present, but definitely more mellowed out. They’ve slipped into a domestic routine and get to bask in it everyday, seeing each other is now the norm. The love for one another we saw in the vlog was super brash and the love we get to see in streams and Snapchat’s is so so soft. It’s so sweet getting to see their transition into each other’s physical lives, you can really tell how much they enjoy being around each other.
