Thinking about indie music artist logan and drummer in big well known band lando

Yapping outside of the tags this time 😼:

- Lando watches from back stage because too many people would recognise him at the random ass music gig Logan got

- Logan refuses to get any explicit help from Lando because even though he could get sponsored/funded millions, it just wouldn't be right

- Logan plays the guitar (acoustic or electric?) and a little bit of the keyboard

Can we talk about Turntail? Like I knew Queen the First (fifth? Miss Birdsong? HONEY. THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING. If you think she sounds amazing as a BACKVOCALIST, then you're in for a treat to hear her as a main vocal of her OWN BAND HELLOOOOO.

I remember a few months ago in one of their (live? Q&A? one of them) instagram things, someone was commenting on how great she sounded, and one of the guys was like "yeah, and she didn't even get training, isn't that so annoying?", it was hilarious 😂 Miss Ma'am is a natural - no wonder Vessel got her (and the babes) to back him 💅

Turntail is fantastic, I've had it on repeat since Thursday. Their music is so interesting and unique, and a great of it is because of her singing. She does this crazy runs and unexpected intervals like it's nothing, and her tone is so so SO clear and stable. Her lows??? Like, honey can go reeeeal low and smooth and real high and crystalline in seconds just like that??

This song in specific, I super appreciate the eerie, melancholic vibes. It's such a great successor to The Collapse (their previous single), but somehow even better. And can we talk about that sexy bassline??? Johnny boy went HARD on it (like he always does. Same with my drummer boy Matt, he's fantastic. Also he writes a lot of the lyrics alongside Lyns, he's fantastic). I love the breakdown bridge and that last chorus so SO much. And the piano??? They always have the most heart-wrenching, soul-crushing, beautiful piano melodies, and yet I get pikachu faced everytime. What can't the queen do. Also, this is the first time they're using a voice effect-tune-thingy so, interesting choice there. The babes sound beautiful as ever too 💖

While my favourite thing from them is still the 1st ep (The Thing With Feathers - please please PLEASE go listen to it. The Downpour and The River are my favourite songs of them, they're so amazing, please I am begging you, you'll love it), you can absolutely hear how much better they get with each new thing they put out. I'm so so excited for when they finally release a full length album, it's been a long time in the making.

If you listen to their latest ep, Dancing In The Face Of Danger, you'll see that they went for a more upbeat vibe (notable on Pyre and Ever The Optimistic), so it feels great to hear the Sad Vibes™ again. Nothing against upbeat stuff (Pyre is one of their best songs fr), but I am an emo at heart sooo... yeah. Miss Birdsong sounds like an elf or some other woodland creature - idk if its just me but you can hear traces of folk music in it and ugh what a combo.

Super super reccomend you hear them live. There are a few recordings on YT, and some of them do feature one or both of the Espera babes too.

Also - do not sleep on their Diamond Eyes cover. Genuinely does NOT feel like a cover AT ALL. Covering Deftones is so daunting because of how unique a they are, and by god those beautiful bastards did it. I do very much prefer their version to the og, she really shines vocally there.

Oooh!!! I HAVE ACTUALLY OMG I feel like people should focus more on their relationship, it’s so sweet!!! 🥺 here are some of them!!!

Mappi headcanons:

- This one isn’t originally mine but yeah I believe in Filipino Mahiru supremacy HONORARY PINOY FR

- To me she seems like the kind of person who would have little habits/ticks she likes to do like twirling her pencil around, bouncing her leg while she’s sitting, skipping around in place those sort of things!!!

- She also likes to gesticulate with her hands a lot so she can get her point across, and it helps her keep track of her thoughts too when she’s speaking to someone

- Her, Kazui, and Mikoto like to hang out occasionally! I feel like they would volunteer together at an animal shelter to help out! :D

- She would show up to Haruka, Yuno, and Mu’s high school graduation and make a whole banner for them! She would make the biggest deal out of it because she’s just so proud of them you know 🥺

- Loves to bake, is really good at it actually (she would definitely do those pie competitions some people have you know whoever makes the best pie gets a ribbon yeah that, she has so many ribbons :3) , but struggles sometimes with cooking, Shidou helps teach her some skills and come up with easier recipes for her to make!

- I also think she would totally stress bake just so she could vent out all her emotions djfjfkfk which results in a lot of cookies and cakes being made. She gives all the extra ones to Amane!

- This is the dumbest one but I headcanon that she’s just extremely good at DDR, SO MUCH SO that one time she was at the arcade with Kotoko, she attracted so much of a crowd with how high her score was while everyone else cheered her on. It was at that moment that Futa Kajiyama, who was also at the arcade at the time, swears to beat her at this game one day LMAO

- Is the sole focus of the majority of the pictures on Kotoko’s camera, has a polaroid picture of them together in her phone case, also they have matching charms on both of their school bags—

Amane headcanons:

- She would definitely do color guard in school! It’s one of her main passions, along with band! I want Amane Momose to play a trumpet I think it would be amazing

- Kazui, Shidou, Futa, Mahiru, and Kotoko are at her games often, they all cheer her on ofc <3

- Shidou always loves to celebrate after her games with giving her pancakes! Ofc she denies them and lets the others eat them, but she’ll save one pancake for herself just to show her appreciation (cue Shidou crying in the corner while Kazui tries to comfort him LMAO)

- I feel like she would be an avid collector of pokemon cards, or just like any trading card game for that matter. Futa always takes her to card game stores so she can pick out the newest packs and they can build decks together. Sometimes Mikoto joins in but he has no idea what he’s doing jhdfbhjd

THIS IS HOW I IMAGINE AMANE AND MIKOTO PLAYING CARD GAMES TOGETHER LMAO

- In the beginning, she wasn’t that good and Futa would always beat her, but now they're evenly matched, and she always revels in the victory whenever she wins in a game against Futa >:3

- Yuno would help with picking out new outfits for her! I feel like they would frequent the mall often lol. Haruka also joins them on occasion, and him and Amane love to look at all the stuffed animal and book stores together!

- Her, Haruka, and Mu would probably take an art class over the summer together and all of them would be so invested in it that it becomes a hobby!

- Once Amane gets to high school, I think it would be cute if Mu gave her a hand me down uniform with custom stitching and everything. The uniform has embroidery all around it where everyone contributed to something on the uniform

- Kotoko takes her to martial arts training classes, which she enjoys a lot. She tries out the new kicks she's learned on Futa and Shidou <3

- Kazui always gives her piggy back rides 🥺

- Amane has a pet cat named Sango, whom she loves very much 🥺 she is very sweet and spoiled, and loves cuddling with her. It helps Amane when she has trouble sleeping, or if she has a nightmare

- Amane always loves to help out with cooking dinners! She would help Mahiru peel and cut all the vegetables! They would also frequent the food market together I feel like, and Mahiru allows Amane to pick out a few sweet treats like candy that she can take home

- Mahiru buys a little cat charm for Amane's bookbag! She also helps cat sit Sango whenever Amane is busy

- Around the holidays, her and Amane would go to all the festivities around town! Looking at the Christmas lights, drinking hot chocolate, all of that! Amane would start snowball fights with Mappi, and they both get competitive really quick lol (spoiler: Amane always wins <3)

ok so we're only a couple eps in but i am already <333 about so many of the characters. bucky and crosby especially my beloveds. i really love all the comparisons being drawn between bucky/nix buck/winters and crosby/webster but i also love how the mota boys are distinctly their own characters. i don't want to say they're cocky and full of themselves because like... some of the easy boys are too lmao. but it's a very different dynamic between the characters than i'm used to seeing in the other hbo war shows and i am living for it

on that note i was a bit wary about most of our main charas being officers but after 2 eps i don't mind a bit! honestly sometimes it's hard to tell rank with all their goddamn fleece lmao but i love how despite being a literal honest to god major bucky is still so chaotic. bless him. the singing scene took me out, and the bike race when they crashed and he and buck were like pulling at each other's clothes to try and get in the lead before the air raid siren went off..... cinema.

i had a hard time adjusting to austin butler in ep 1 but he really pulled through in ep 2 for me and i'm very keen to see where he takes the character! and i have LOVED callum turner since channel 4's glue (which i watched a fucking decade ago but still think about bc of how powerful it was and he was in it) and he is absolutely killing bucky. it's giving nix without impulse control. honestly all the cast are amazing, the only one i really struggle with still is isabel may as buck's gf......... i literally cannot see her as anyone but katie from alexa and katie, so in my mind she's literally still a 15 year old girl. but who knows, she could win me over in the future

the score and title sequence are so good too!!! the pacific still has my absolute fav opening titles and band is second but even though the score is obviously new it still feels a bit... nostalgic, i guess? similar vibes to the other shows and i am HERE for the way it makes me feel <3

I don't know where to start I have so many with varying sizes

Anything to do with the main trio's parents I definitely accidentally over developed/hj and gave them all names and backstories

For just the main trio themselves off the top of my head rn: CW animal death mentions.

Neil doesn't feel any particular way about cats, dogs, kittens or puppies. In fact he would tell a dog to shut up for barking/hj He believes the most perfect pet ever is goldfish and he could go on and on about how cool and practical and so on they are. He cannonicaly had lab testing mice at some point that was confiscated from him and didn't seem too bothered when they died.

Idk man I just feel like there's some symbolism in there somewhere about him how he favors what the majority veiws as "the most disposable/boring pet" and doesn't gush over cute ones or more traditional ones to like.

He has a Fallout reference as a sticker on his safe so I took that as he's a fan of the games. He plays fallout and watches game of thrones and he probably likes Skyrim and Marvel too!! Like I don't think he has a problem with magic at all as a *fictional* concept. It's when he can't understand something or make sense of the paranormal it drives him off his rockers.

Nikki makes rubber band bracelets, and collects offbrand Lps and watches the amazing world of gumball on her mom's ipad whenever they're in a place she needs to sit still and she's just enjoying her childhood the best she can living in the vibes fr. She chews on the nails on hand and leaves the other sharp. She probably has a lot of broken action figures and barbie dolls she doesn't know the proper name of like 90% of them and gives them new names. It probably bugs tf out of Neil to watch her call Deadpool Spiderman.

Her relationship with animals as I've noticed, she's not like this Fluttershy type from MLP who has this bleeding heart for all of them, I personally think she veiws herself deeply as one of them. She'll care about the ones she knows personally like they're in her pack. Be intrigued by the ones that are cool, But would also not flinch if one died, "that's the food chain buddy." Infact she's fighting a wolf over a rabbit rn she told me herself.

Max has empathy issues he either feels at 100% or nothing at all and it's anyone's guess how he's gonna feel about anything. This sort of explains the inconsistency in his behavior or if he's gonna feel guilty about something after he does it. He struggles to take interest in hobbies or anything at all, so he's bored nearly all the time and does the stupidest or meanest shit to get a kick out of it. His mom signed him up for tapdancing, piano, and violin lessons and during the school year that fills up alot of his time anyways.

He's very political and infodumps the worst timed dark history facts ever bc he often doesn't know what else to talk about, labeling him as "a depressing mood killer" He has a very strong sense of justice but on a person-to-person level he will say the most sexist, homophobic, fatphobic, things not because he actually believes in those ideals, but bc he's just saying shit to get you mad probably or hurt your feelings.

hi there!! of course! so it's mostly the overall Feel Good Vibe that they both bring but ill try to explain a bit

1) for me what made 2gether really special was the soundtrack, scrubb - which is tine's favourite band - and the msp soundtrack is amazing too! music brings so much nostalgia for me so altho i don't love 2g, i remember it fondly bc it introduced me to really listening to thai music and now it's basically all i listen to fjsjdjsk

2) the friendships between characters dont feel cookie cutter, at least to me. they're a real joy to watch and u wish u could be a part of their shenanigans :)

3) on another level, tine and gun are similar in some ways, ie not having much confidence in himself despite being so extroverted and fall for a guy that they think they don't necessarily 'deserve.' and in both cases the guy (tinn and wat) work to make it exceedingly clear how much they adore their crush who DOES deserve the entire world tyvm, which is !!!!!

4) and then oc theres the literal reference to 2gether in ep3 when tinn fantasizes about gun sharing an earbud with him and scrubb's "klai" ("close") plays bc tinn has been bingeing series to figure out how to Seduce gun and instead just ends up imagining different bl scenarios GJSKDK the realest shit fr
