Hey Mera! Today's Friday the 13th and I couldn't help but wonder, do you have some thoughts for any serial killer (insert twst chara) for the day? 👀
personally thinking of sk Floyd with the lake theme surrounding Jason Voorhees, being the final girl when your group of friend decided to have a little camp out nearby the cursed lake.
but you know, sk Azul (persumed dead) coming back for revenge after being bullied and "drowned" in the camp lake is also a delicious thought....
AAAA sk twst thoughts!!!! Sk Floyd and Azul....... both of those ideas are so delicious,, being the final girl who is no match for these obsessed killers. >_< they're going to have you one way or another. Whether that's speared on a knife or his cock. :)
Omg but sk Rook is also a yummy thought!!! Maybe you're a horror writer trying to get out of a writer's block, and there's Rook who is so obsessed with you and your books. Your biggest fan, one might say. He decides to help give you inspiration by throwing you into the plot of a typical slasher film, only this one isn't just confined to the page. >:D Rook terrorizing your town and you've no idea what's going on, but people around you are dying in brutal ways and the killer seems to be getting closer and closer to you as the days pass. orz
And sk Cater!!!! Cater who wants to go viral so badly, but nothing seems to be working. So he decides to become a masked killer who livestreams all of his kills. :) he starts with insignificant people. It draws in some views, but nothing will get the view count up quite like a bigger target. Someone that people actually care about. Maybe you're a public official or a celebrity. In any case, lots of people adore you and now here you are, stripped naked and bound like a pig, and Cater's having his audience vote on which ways he should play with you first.
Sk Idia....... something something very messed up plot where he's running an experiment to see how much mental exhaustion and stress a person can endure before they inevitably break. Cold, detached STYX Idia......... putting you through the worst hell of your life and to him you're merely Human Test Subject #57. >_< there's no chance of escaping, and even if you do manage to miraculously break out of your cell and slip past the robots Ortho will stop you. He can quite literally control all of the surveillance and other high-tech security on his own, so bringing you back to Idia is no issue at all! :D omg what if,,, Idia but it's that one sleep experiment creepypasta....... I think Idia should be used for more unethical science concepts. He can be so frightening when he's clinical.

sometimes i think about what the long term consequences of the kg1 and 2 principals' actions would be. for example, the kg2 kids have spent the last however many months fully aware of and experiencing penny & her blackouts. they know the dangers of being sent to the principal's office, of disobeying and getting caught, so i imagine they would likely be pretty paranoid and very conscious of how they behave. it'd be a struggle to adjust from every mistake risking resulting in a laser from a gun or a classmate's eyes. it's made even worse if some of the kids were close with penny before her "accident"; the doll she "used to play with" is an item at school, so it's likely penny found it there in the first place- back when she and her classmates had no blackouts.
also, like how everyone knows of but doesn't really talk about penny's blackouts in kg2, the kg1 philosophy of "don't talk about it if you don't want to get hurt" feels very significant to me. even before billy's disappearance caused the principal to wire bombs to blow up at mentions of him, even before the pills, there were bloody bags in the bathroom that the kids were just supposed to not question. they're supposed to be complicit and ignorant of the crimes going on around them, and the desensitisation to violence and gore reflects clearly throughout the game- in monty's nonchalance about blowing up the janitor, buggs beating a kid to death, cindy stabbing the player, jerome using bombs in kg2, lily and billy plotting to kill applegate and danner, etc. they're all actively being shown violence and taught that curiosity will cause it to be inflicted upon them. that's terrifying.
when billy disappears, people speak about him as more of a symbol and a warning than a person. buggs uses him as a cautionary tale, cindy as an old source of resentment who "stole her thunder", nugget tries to forget him via the pills, so on and so forth. lily too, i believe, sees him not only as billy, but as the driving factor behind her desire to continue living and to investigate further once he's saved. there's a whole other analysis i could do on how jerome tries to use billy's name to blow lily up and how the pills made from him were used to make people forget him and the impact that all of that would have on billy himself, but that's a topic for another day <3
and after billy's taken, the kg1 kids are placed under scrutiny that goes beyond having a robot watching them. the principal implants listening devices that double as explosives, forces interrogations that place the recipient in the line of a bullet or under the pressure of a pill, there is a statue in the playground explicitly stated to be watching them. there's no privacy, not even when they're alone. that too would cause paranoia, distrust, increased caution, helplessness, etc.
all the sudden transfers from both schools leads not only to a lack of a stable secure environment but also proves that there is no safe space. ozzy tries to force one via routine, but even that's compromised when kg2 shuts. carla tries to map out her own vent system as soon as she arrives to regain her role as knowledgeable. nugget goes back to using harmful substances. the kids are separated from what and who they know- and they only have to hope they won't be the next ones to go missing when every school in the area could quite literally kill them without a second thought or consequence

Casino Eggman and Krampus Eggman fighting for Game Eggman's love
that could result in some funny shenanigans. I can see them both insisting they'll be the ones to spend the night at game Eggman's at Eggsmas time. Krampus wouldn't usually visit adults but game Eggman can be a manchild at times so he could still count and be an exception lol
KrampusEgg might say Casino Egg doesn't even typically visit anyone's houses like he does so how does he think he'll get in to game Eggman's place and Casino Egg is like "ya think I don't have experience in breaking into people's houses? the high security of his base ain't nothin' to me."
Krampusegg still doubts Casino Egg is going to come through with it and is then surprised when he arrives at Eggman's base around the same time as him wearing a santa outfit but pink and he calls himself Santie Claus and he's like oh shit he's serious
and so trouble ensues as they attempt to get through game Eggman's high security and advanced robots just to enter his base then make his way to him inside and have quite the interesting bonding experience during it. and Casino Egg attempts to flirt constantly with KrampusEgg as is usual for him with every guy
so KrampusEgg is like "I thought you wanted the other Eggman, not me. is this is an attempt to charm me into distraction so you can get to him first?" and Casino Egg is like "nooo not at all ;)" but truth is, he's finding he is genuinely into him too. I mean he's another Eggman, how can he not be
anyway they finally get to modern Egg's bedroom and wake him up by loudly stumbling in while bickering over who gets him. and when he asks them what the hell they're doing, they both trip over themselves to try to charm him into wanting to spend the night with them instead and kicking the other one out
KrampusEgg's main motive would be so he can then punish him for his evil like he would children only he's a manchild instead but he could also find he's genuinely into him too, while Casino Egg's main motive for wanting to stay over at game Eggman's is just to fuck as usual because he's Casino Egg
but then Casino Egg is like "wait why am I even fighting over him like this, I'm literally extremely polyamorous and into both of you" so he proposes them all staying here together and game Eggman is like "hold on I never invited either of you here anyway you just broke in >:\" but of course he will wanna spend time with other handsome eggs really XD
now I don't wanna speak on KrampusEgg's feelings much without approval since he's not my creation, he's weirdofish's, but Casino AU Egg would certainly be all for it and game Eggman being a canon monsterfucker and eggfucker just like Casino Egg, he'd totally be down to negotiate them all spending the night together, perhaps also joining him to visit and terrorize the naughty kids for fun as a fearsome but also very funny trio!

Can you write Larry and Lawrie headcanons, thanks <3
Tumblr media
Well this is late lol, sorry anon for keeping this in the drafts for so long. But here it is! The— wait what?
Tumblr media
UH OH
BLORBOS ALERT!!
(this took a while to post cuz i have a lot of ideas for them and it was hard picking which ones to chose for this itty bitty post lol)
HCs for both:
- (Reposting this one from my @brawlstarshcs submission) Regarding their last names: So, they’re robots without biological families, so they wouldn't have actual family names. But i like to think on all legal records their last names are “Ampersand”. Like, “&”spelled out. So Larry & Lawrie are literally “Larry Ampersand, Lawrie (Ampersand)”
- They weren’t powered on/born full-sized as they are now, but they first had the bodies of smaller kid/preteen sized bots before getting upgraded over time.
- They can learn hobbies/skills by just plugging themselves into the Starr Park main computer, which has a huge information database. Larry learned the law in detail that way, along with some other stuff like how to swim. Lawrie uses it way more (he's learned to shred guitar and how to kickbox, among other less work-related things).
- They share a garage/bedroom together, with their sleeping docks on opposite sides of a room that's split through the middle (yknow, the classic TV twin bedroom layout).
- They do a lot more park things than just being the police. They do virtually every law-related task in the park, not just enforcement (IRS Lawrie...). They also go on bodyguard duty for the famous performers like Melodie and Draco, and funnily enough they're even trained with doing lifeguard duty when Buzz and Doug are unavailable. Larry and Lawrie (R-T too) basically are the park, at least the back-stage/logistics part of it.
- Larry's more of an optimist, and Lawrie's more of a realist (not a pessimist necessarily, but i headcanon he's maybe more in touch with reality than Larry, or at least thinks he is)
- They don’t get along with Colt. They think he's fake and lazy as hell, who's only redeeming quality is that he's famous, attractive, and knows how to shoot a gun. Larry begrudgingly tolerates him, and Lawrie would not hesitate to put him in his place.
But there's one brawler who they find even worse.
- Kit. A worse version of Colt. At least Colt has the decency of getting out their way (him being technically "on their side" as a sheriff and all). But Kit? He's a menace. He couldn't care less about the law, he's cunning and slippery enough to break out of jail whenever he wants, AND he gets away with most things from being a famous brawlywood star. He's the only frequent offender who can manage to break Larry's happy-go-lucky composure.
- Other misc relations: Gets along with Barley (Larry's just a little closer), Stu (Lawrie gets a little jealous of him), Melodie, Janet, Draco, Poco (aforementioned bodyguarding), the Junkers
Ok, now Lawrie hcs first (he deserves more love!!)
- Lawrie’s surprisingly way more of a nerd than Larry is, in everything except for park affairs and the law. He watches movies and tv shows, listens to rock music, taught himself how to play electric guitar and bass, meanwhile Larry’s interest is almost exclusively in his work/the park.
- Technically, Larry's not his twin. Lawrie's the older brother, period. He was powered on a full three days before Larry was (and he likes to refer to this period— most of the time jokingly— as “the best three days of his goddamn life”). But because they're the same model, they’re seen as identical twins.
- Lawrie wasn't really built as equal to Larry. He's the scraps, the extra parts. I headcanon the Starr Park inventors really only planned one security bot, but saw they had just barely enough parts for a functioning second one. And they put other random parts into Lawrie to compensate more (like I hc he can like pull out a projector screen from his wrist, or a microwave from his back or whatever, random utility stuff that Larry doesn't have built in).
Larry (my boyyy)
- He's aroace. But the kind of aroace who took a bit to figure out they were aroace, and for a while thought he was gay and dated men, because he didn't find women attractive. (Is an aroace robot super cliche? Maybe. But the fact im acknowledging it makes it less cliche, right?)
- He's actually surprisingly more social than Lawrie, probably due to him being more confident, and he's more popular throughout the park in general. People know Larry as Larry, and Lawrie as Larry's twin brother— if they know he exists in the first place.
- Despite not being the one with a raging inferiority complex, Larry's self-worth still heavily relies on his identity as Lawrie’s brother (especially as being "the better one", as unwilling he is to confront that fact).

So after reblogging this post about dolls and robots I'm now thinking about meta implications in Arcane.
Dolls exist to be loved, need to be loved to exist, because they have no autonomy and no other purpose.
Robots exist to be useful, they will not be kept around if they cannot do their job.
And I'm going to add a third type of artificial being, frankenstein's monsters/flesh golems, which usually exist as an experiment either to find out if they can be made or as a step on the way to something else. They're neither loved like dolls nor useful in the sense robots are, although their bodies can be used by their creators.
In LoL lore pre-Arcane different characters are associated with each of these and therefore the relevant tropes. Orianna is a doll because her father (not Singed in this version) loved her too much to let her go. She also wonders whether she is the original Orianna or just a copy sharing her memories.
Singed is associated with flesh golems, particularly Warwick, experimenting on others in his quest for immortality.
Viktor is associated with robots. He builds a literal robot, Blitzcrank, with the job of cleaning up Zaun. He also wants to be a robot (not, in this version, due to being terminally ill) and, while doing it to himself means he has agency and doesn't fully fall into robot tropes, dealing with Zaun's problems does seem to be a task he's assigning himself. He also puts people in robot bodies in an attempt to preserve their minds (the equivalent of the commune scene) and thinks people should become robots. Despite not seeming willing to force people to become machines against their will he does believe free will is a harmful illusion, so the lack of autonomy robots have remains relevant and seems to be part of the appeal for him.
In LoL these characters remain largely separate, in Arcane they're brought into one blended story. The tropes associated with each character become mingled and changed by this. For instance, Viktor’s followers become doll-like rather than robotic because they are now the precursors to Orianna, but this also implies different tropes for Viktor. If he is making his followers into dolls, ornate and unique dolls at that, it implies not that he wants them to be useful but that he loves them.
The followers at the commune do have jobs, but the commune is for their benefit rather than them doing jobs to serve others who are not robots/dolls. They have beautiful homes and the commune is a beautiful place, Viktor caring for them even as he takes their autonomy. There's also a childish aspect to this, as Jayce and Viktor are both at their most dangerous when they are most immature. Jayce makes the hammer based on a childhood drawing of himself as a superhero. Viktor spends season two with a security blanket and an imaginary friend and a garden full of dolls.
Singed creates Warwick, but is also the one who will ressurect Orianna. She is a doll because he loves her, doll-like even before her ressurection, preserved in a glass case, tended and tucked in. Warwick is a monster because he is only an experiment on the way to ressurecting Orianna, used without remorse as both resource and weapon. Singed becomes a character who is not only capable of both love and ruthlessness, but for whom they go hand in hand, one driven by the other.
Viktor's own body is not entirely like, nor entirely unlike, any of these things. It is the site of a struggle over autonomy and the many ways people try to take it from him. He is a doll like Orianna, brought back by someone who loves him too much to let him go and who takes his autonomy in the process. He is Singed's experiment like Warwick, a resource to raise Orianna, although less directly since Singed encourages him to experiment on himself rather than forcing him. He is treated like a robot by Piltover, allowed to stay, which means allowed to live, as long as he is useful and continues to tie his worth to what he can do when he tries to do something for Zaun.
Ultimately, though, his final form transcends all these things, more like a god than a machine, more creator than created. He becomes something no one can stop, someone who can never have his autonomy taken again.
Even as he takes everyone else's.

I'm not sure if anyone's ever thought about this or has made a post about it, but I figured I'd add my own two cents if someone did talk about this.
// Ruin spoilers ahead
mostly about Freddy
Tumblr media
So, seeing that headless Freddy has prototype written on the bottom of his foot, it's suggested or even theorized that our Freddy (the one we're with in SB) was a prototype this entire time.
Tumblr media
Of course, like many others, I was very skeptical and in denial about the idea because why the hell would that be a thing? How is he a prototype? It wasn't there on his foot in the base game, so why this sudden change?
I kinda hated it, and as a way to cope, I theorized that maybe it wasn't the same Freddy and FazEnt just replaced him with another copy and then abandoned him... don't ask me how that particular Freddy became headless either. Also I was wobbling between the "True Ending" being the Canon one, I was back and forth and just trying to figure out what would've made sense.
Tumblr media
My logic for the True Ending being canon was, maybe Freddy and Gregory both got out (alongside Vanessa) with glamdaddy intact, and they're just living life. Meanwhile, Faz Ent just made a new Freddy while fixing the plex but gave up and left everything to rot. Of course I know now that makes no sense or explains why/how the 2nd Freddy lost his head, but it's what I came up with. The PQ Ending is technically canon... so that was a waste of a braincell, hah...
Since fnaf has the tendency to rewrite/add things to the story, I think our Glamrock Freddy being a prototype is something I've accepted. Now, there are a few things I thought of that might add to the idea of him being a prototype (not confirmed but more speculative).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's a high-tech, sentient AI robot, he can clearly experience human emotion (like the other glamrocks) and has decent mobility. What most likely seperates him from the other glams is the fact that he experiences existentialism. I know we don't see much from the other glams, what they think of their current situation (not even from Roxy in Ruin), they aren't fully aware of what they are or what they're doing (as far as we know). Their programming is focused on being entertainers and birthdays.
I'm not gonna say that the other glams aren't able to express deeper thoughts, but I think this is where I might be stretching this idea just a bit.
Tumblr media
If you're going to make AI bots who can adapt and be flexible with their environment, there's gotta be some kind of limit of what they can say/think/do. Freddy is the prime example of not having that limitation since we see/hear him express concern about not being the only Glamrock Freddy that's walking around:
"Have I always been a Freddy? Am I Monty with a different shell? What if I am not the first Glamrock Freddy? ... Do we all feel the same? Am I special? If I am mass-produced, am I still art?" (Endo Warehouse)
This motherfucker literally commits arson:
"You sure collected a lot of toys! Perhaps we can do something to stop whatever is going on here." (Fire escape Ending)
Tumblr media
When he goes to the basement and encounters the blob, he goes on this monologue:
"I know what this is. I have been here before. She brought me here. I found myself for the first time when I cleared the path. I did not want to, but I had no choice. Now I have a choice. I have changed. My friends are here. They are so angry, confused. But I can protect you. I am not me." (True Ending)
He ultimately goes against some of his programming to help a child in need-- even lie to a security guard-- which if he were set to do as he's told, he would've sent Gregory straight to Vanessa, even with Gregory adamantly telling him not to.
If he were programmed to be strict and not break any protocols, he'd would've gotten Gregory killed immediately.
I'm saying this because if we're being realistic (realistic in terms of how we usually program robots and things), there are barriers in what a robot/ai can really say/do that doesn't break its programming. If he's a prototype, Freddy wouldn't have those barriers to stop him from saying/doing most of the things he did in SB. I know there's another factor to him behaving kindly to Gregory and that's him being in safe mode, but even still... you would think he would follow the rules and not let Gregory do certain things and perhaps unintentionally get the boy killed.
I'm going back to the existential crisis Freddy has, because for something that's meant to be an animatronic mascot for kids, you wouldn't want him to make the children around him question the meaning of being alive and sentient. There would have to be some sort of guard against having those kind of thoughts and ideas. It makes Freddy more interesting, especially if he could've been easily replaced with a finalized version of him that did what he was suppose to.
Tumblr media
Also, I know it's probably more widely accepted that either Vanny or Gregory hacked into Freddy, causing his collapse during the opening. With him being a prototype, maybe his systems couldn't handle that type of an advanced hack, unlike the other glams, making him unable to be properly hacked into in the beginning.
Not only that, there are some issues he has with performing, who knows, maybe he's had collapses before. We don't know.
Him being unable to enter the West Arcade:
"When I step onto the West Arcade dance floor I cannot stop myself! It is a programming bug." (West Arcade)
I'm aware him being in safe mode meant he's disconnected from the main network as well keeps him docile. While the "Afton" fight isn't technically canon, with the other upgrades on Freddy, those parts might have made him more susceptible to the virus attack. There's not much evidence pointing to the other glams not being prototypes but seeing how they each have upgrades while Freddy doesn't, that might hint that the others were mostly finalized, meaning their systems were properly functioning (aside from the virus of course).
Tumblr media
Sorry if this was super long, but it's something I thought about and I had to put it in words. Nothing about Glamrock Freddy is normal, like he's not possessed (I use to believe in the glammike theory but I don't anymore eh...), but he's a prototype! He's gonna act all funky because he's not polished yet... and I think that's very interesting and endearing (in an odd way).

MCU Rewatch #1: IRON MAN
General Impressions: Yes, good, it holds up, thank god.
I want to write ten thousand words of meta about how this movie redefined the superhero genre of its day. I had to cut this post down SO MUCH, guys, you don't even know.
Not only is it still really entertaining, there is enough in this movie to be really worth picking apart. It's a fascinating entrant into this whole marathon, because as the first movie, it doesn't have anything else in the franchise to fall back on. This was a standalone shot in the dark, an attempt to make a blockbuster out of a superhero nobody had heard of and a washed-up actor who'd last been notable as a random love interest on Ally McBeal. It had to stand on its own merits, no greater universe to buoy it up, and it did.
I am going to have to write a separate post about the things that Iron Man promised us for this franchise, and how the rest of the MCU did or did not deliver. Damnit.
The Hero: Tony Stark is a fascinating guy.
Iron Man does a really good job of embracing him as a flawed disaster of a man who's a victim of his own good fortune: this guy is both the smartest and the richest man in very nearly every room he's ever been in, and it has made him a mess.
His emotional journey is believable and clearly shown. Tony flips his entire life upside down to go from arms dealer to superhero, except the whole movie makes it very clear that literally every step of the way he's being impossibly, inescapably himself with it. The man who doesn't give a shit about his very prestigious award is the same man who doesn't give a shit about his stock prices tanking or weapons dev being the entire foundation of his company. Part of why it works so well for Tony to out himself as Iron Man at the end of the movie is because in every possible way, they're the same guy -- ostentatious, flamboyant, dramatic, incredibly intense about some things and super blase about others, obsessive, superhuman on the skin and very human underneath.
Compared to brooding Christopher Nolan Batman or the pressures and anxieties of Sam Raimi Spiderman, both of whom are constantly preoccupied with questions of Good and Evil, Tony feels like a creature from a completely different genre. It's effective, unique, and well-carried by the movie.
The Villain: Pretty solid!
Obadiah Stane is a well-executed foil to Tony, which is exactly what this movie needs. He's contained and responsible where Tony's wild. He's respectable. And yet, so much of this movie is about complacency. Tony was too busy being a playboy bouncing off the walls to pay attention to who his fortune and his company hurt. Obie paid attention to all of it, and decided he didn't care. The movie ends up saying some interesting things, this way, about carelessness vs. callousness. Tony and Obie working together destroyed a lot of lives, but carelessness can be fixed, if you're smacked in the face with what you've done. Obie looked the man he half-raised in the face and tried to murder him in person when the hands off method failed.
The bit where this sixty-something-year-old multimillionaire businessman decided that what he really needed to do to secure his fortune and future, was personally get in the robotic suit and try to kill Tony himself? That's definitely leaning into genre conventions at the expense of logic. But hey, it's a superhero movie. Sometimes you have to let these things go.
The Ensemble: Thematic and relevant.
There are really only three other characters who matter in the movie: Yinsin, Pepper, and Rhodey. Yinsen is a pretty standard 'older mentor who dies to set the hero off on his journey,' and he fulfills his extremely classic role suitably. Pepper's an intelligent, competent love interest whose emotions towards her boss and friend are believably complex. Both good!
Rhodey is so interesting to me, on this rewatch. He's the one person who's put forth as Tony's actual friend, rather than a coworker, although they both occupy a similar professional space. He tries hard to be a good friend! But Rhodey is a part of the military-industrial complex, and when Tony comes back from the desert and starts to rock the boat -- when he stops playing along, stops wanting to build weapons, stops playing the game -- then Rhodey is there to try and nudge him back. You must have PTSD, Rhodey and Pepper think. You're making strange decisions. We've all been living in and benefiting from this system forever, what's wrong with you that it's suddenly a problem now? It was understated, but well done for what it was.
The Plot: Reasonably sensical!
The plot of Iron Man is easy to follow, maintains good tension throughout, and ties well together beginning to end. I don't have a lot to say about this one that I didn't already cover above, I'm just prepared for a slog through movies where "this plot makes sense" is a sky-high bar, so the fact that Iron Man not only clears that but does so enjoyably and well is pretty great.
The Franchise: It's hard to talk about how Iron Man relates to the movies that came before it when there are none, and talking about how it inspires the movies that come next is a WHOLE separate essay. Skip this one.
VERDICT: A solid 8/10
I know that for the MCU, this is pretty high on the list of movies that manage to be good at all, but I'm entering into this experience with an open mind and a willingness to discover that many of these movies are better than I actually expect. Iron Man is a very good superhero movie. I will probably watch it again someday, and I am not sad I watched it again now.

also one thought i've been thinking of lately is that in terms of broader in-universe reasons for new gimmicks to pop up, the Autobots are usually attributed with coming up with the technology for the new gimmick, like transformation itself at least in G1, pretender shells (and arguably beastformers entirely, since i THINK that Beast Wars-style animal alt-modes are derived from the Pretender technology) while the Decepticons steal it later, so they both have the same kind of gimmicks but don't apply it the same way, and in particular this brings my thoughts to combination.
Combiners are a big deal in the setting, and work exceptionally well as metaphors for a closeness in a particular team. They're associated with the Decepticons; while there are plenty of Autobot combiners, they're not as prevalent. So i had a thought:
wouldn't it make sense for the Autobots to have combiners more frequnetly, or at least a wider degree of combinational status among different Autobots, while the Decepticons have less combiners (even if they want the weaponization of it) and instead tend to focus more on individually powerful triple/six changers?
this is pretty consistent with what we see of their faction-wide philosophies and the way they interact with each other:
Autobots having a focus on combiners gives a literal metaphor status to 'till all are one'; depending on how you interpret that, this could mean that combining is significant to them, a literal metaphor of the Autobots literally actinng as one, a bigger team united by common goals and beliefs even if they constantly argue, or fight with each other, or go full 'Dinobot and Rattrap' on the slightest pretext. when it counts, they work together for the greater good, and that sometimes means turning into a really big composite robot
Decepticons rarely have relationships of any kind; implicit romances are quite rare among them, and most of their canonical friendships are still deeply rooted in constant hostility and passive aggression. There are few friends among the Decepticons, with the tight-knit status of a few groups outliers among the norm. consider the original Predacon team, as willing to kill and eat each other as any other victim, with zero remorse or hesitation.
The lore tends to back this up, with a lot of Autobot combiners being highly focused but still competent. A lot of Decepticon combiners are... barely sane, so to speak. A lot of them can barely talk, or they're feral monsters rampaging at anything in sight, and this is explicitly because they get along so badly that their combiner forms are barely functional in mind. Devastator and Bruticus, with their teams getting along quite well, are NOT the norm!
Decepticons focus heavily on individual advancement and power; frequently they're constantly backstabbing and plotting against each other, scheming to replace Megatron OR loyally serve him and making themselves tools for his purposes, and backstab anyone they can to secure a better position for themselves. They don't get along, basically. So this brings us to multi-form changers.
Triple changers are known in the fandom, and six-changers have become more prevalent. They're almost all decepticons, and while there's SOME Autobots with those abilities, they're somewhat obscure compared to the Decepticons; Blitzwing is kind of iconic, and Sixshot is the reason six changers exist. They're also EXTREMELY powerful individuals; IDW1 codified the idea of as part of Decepticon conquest, the likes of Sixshot or other six-changers are sent down to devastate worlds, killing all native life in preparation for Decepticons claiming it as a colony or harvesting its resources.
so with that in mind, i think its pretty resonant for the Autobots to have more combiners, or the power to be pretty common among themm, while Decepticons instead have individually powerful super soldiers, opposed by individually weaker Autobots literally combining together to overpower them with strategy, friendship, their teamwork given physical form, and also being a really big robot that punches real hard

*skitters in in need of nice and funky things* HOKAY. SHIPS. I am honestly open to nearly all ships due to the fact my aro-ace ass simply doesn't require them to live BUT I do have few that either sparks my interest or i think they work pretty well :3 I also go by the logic they are robots and relationships cannot be really compared to humans. Earth x Eclipse - I don't what it is with Earth cracking the harshest personalities but my god, Eclipse v4 warming up to her to the point of tolerating was a feat and sparks immense joy. Allowing Earth to hug him and hang out? Chat? Feel loved? Absolutely precious. Earth respects his boundaries and at the same time Eclipse appreciates her embracing his persona. It's just such a good premise for a slightly odd but good couple. I love it. Sun x Eclipse (many versions) - Canon divergence with Sun and Eclipse working it out? YES. Solar and his original Sun? My god please yes. Oh, what's his? Lord Eclipse and his Servant Sun? Mhm mhm yes. Excellent. So many potentials. So many ways to roll with the ship. Can be loving or spicy or unhealthy. So many choices. Nexus x Solar - do I even have to explain. I think many feels similar about this one. Nexus as new moon found his Sun, even if that Sun is eclipsed. Solar desperately needed someone to love and appreciate him. I am both friend shipping them and shipping, both works for me beautifully.
Sun x Moon - ho boi a controversial one but hey, what is the multiverse for if not ship anything you want (especially since it was even confirmed in canon that romantic DCAs are as normal and common as brotherly bonds or coworkers or absolutely hating each other). They are AIs inhibiting robotic bodies. They are synthetic beings and their understanding of bonds are different than the ones of a biological critters. They are a bundle of codes that try to understand the convoluted partnerships and roles among each other. Protective Moon and caring Sun may decide their bond is on the romantic spectrum. Cos who knows Sun better than their Moon? What is Moon without their Sun? :) Those would be the ones that stick to my brain. Thank you for making the small sharing time! I hope you have a lovely day/evening :) Cheers!
Hiii Wonszu!!! (Waving at u from my enclosure!!!)
I think that Eclipse deserves something nice. And maybe Earth could be that something nice, in the right circumstances.
They're literally my first ship (just normal SunChips) in this fandom and ough. Ough. I literally never even considered the idea of shipping the sillies until I found out that this fandom has a fucking ao3 tag. I was still mostly in the UTMV fandom when I started watching TSAMS, and my poor fandom then was burning while I was slowly jumping ship.
I think they're sweet. I don't see them as romantic myself, but I support those who do. They remind me of the relationship my brother had with his best friend.
I think the fandom is slowly getting over their whole general "every sun and moon HAS to be related and platonic" since we have people hardcore shipping Helios (dark sun) and Nexus. Not to mention the AU Sun and Moon in DoctorF's fic, Sunlo and Moonlit. They're cute. I don't see why we can't have TSAMS AUs where the dynamics are different when it's generally acceptable to ship SolarMoon as an AU. Idk maybe I'm biased, I've been shipping Sun and Moon (in general) since like immediately when Security Breach came out. I took one look at them and went "oh yes they are so fucking gay". And jadkl;fsjads it was such a lonely time when I didn't know anyone else who shipped them.
As I've already said before, I see TSAMS as just one DCA au amongst many DCA aus. Do whatever the fuck you want bro.

Secret of the Mimic (THIS INCLUDES SPOILERS-ISH) when applied to Security Update
Ok I need to write this out before I go insane, but this idea came to me in a flash and I think I want to follow through with it.
FOLLOW BELOW TO HEAR MY PLEA OF LORE (+A bit of ranting)
The Security Update au is actually not named due to Security Breach entirely. It's named after the Security Puppet, as Charlotte does not possess it, but her aunt Anna does. Whole story, if you look at the pages in the back of this one you can get a good feel for what happened.
I absolutely despise Edwin the more I watch of SOTM. This rebrand by Steel Wool is such the vibes of "erm aschuklalyllylyy edwin is the smartest and the coolest and had the best technological advancements (EVEN THOUGH HENRY AND WILLIAM WERE GREAT INVENTORS OF THEIR TIME), and erm erm erm acuhkshtaly edwin made everything and William and Henry are idiots and didn't even make the springlocks" like stfu
I have been obsessed with Fnaf since I was Eight Years Old. This is not only my childhood that I'm watching get uprooted but the entire just EVERYTHING we thought about. The whole "erm the mimic is akschctually the main villian and wayyyyy worse than William."
like
no??
Ok I'm in a debate on how I'd include McM. Maybe I'd have Henry be related to Edwin and he works on the Company WITH Edwin using his knowledge of robotics?? Maybe I set SOTM after Fnaf 1, in around 2000 or 97. Then it becomes something Henry works on with Edwin? Or say McM starts the animatronic business but it's the Cousins Henry Emily and Edwin Murray, they begin creating the animatronic ideas and stuff, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I'M NOT IGNORING?? THE MEDIOCRE MELODIES. Those were theorized to have been created by Henry before him and William came together, and Chica was supposedly going to be one of them. Maybe Henry and Edwin worked together on creating these animatronics and got in contact with William because of William's wish to rebuild Fredbear's brand (which was APPARENTLY MADE BY EDWIN'S DAD??? This story is killing me. I genuinely rage quit on Fuhnaff's stream. This is the death of my life I tell you).
I love the concept of sotm, same as I loved the concept of sb. But I hate both of the games. Security Breach had bland storytelling, infinite possibilities with the dorkiest one chosen, Chica's design was my least favorite, Gator golf was butchered, Mazercise was cheesy asf and I hated it. Not only did Security breach suck as a game but the story itself was terrible. A lot of the original fnaf was something I fell in love with because of the poetic story brought about. The whole REASON I started this au was to make a story (while of course tainted by my hand) that I would actually enjoy. I love the og fnaf, and I don't want to be one of those toxic fans being like "tHe LoRe Is RuInEd bY sEcUrItY bReAcH" because I honestly don't think that. Security Breach was bad, but Ruin and hw2 were absolutely amazing. I was so excited to see where they went. Sotm has absolutely killed my love for that though. This "New concept" doesn't follow what we had, and it feels like a reboot. Let it be known that Fnaf is NOT POPPY PLAYTIME. And THAT'S OK. This just felt like they're trying to be like every other game on the market. I love Poppy playtime, but it has its place, and that is NOT IN FNAF. The playstyle, the cardboard cutouts, the tapes not-so-well hidden, this literally feels like Poppyplaytime, just badly made to look like FNAF.
I'm intensely angry. We've had DC ruined, Marvel ruined, Miraculous ladybug (don't even get me started on what they did to chat noir. I'm so pissy about Ladynoir getting ruined. I know this is a fnaf blog but EUGH), and so many more. Where is the love of the craft?? And I don't mean graphics, or animation, or character design, or just horror. I mean story. These stories lack it. I love Glamrock Freddy so much as a character, and all of the possibilities of him are amazing. I love the other glamrocks too, but there is nothing behind them. Henry had one good speech and William became a peanut head. (Jokes)
But seriously. Fnaf has the beauty of a story that could have made so many more stories. Sure Scott messed up with the story a couple times, and elements were a bit stretched (or were mpreg springtrap), but he had a story. I want to keep this story and I want to make it something more. Sure the bite was tragic, but what if it was worse? William was incredibly jealous of Henry, yet also praising him incredibly, so how do you expand on this? Ask why? What if Henry was his idol? Say I do go with Henry and Edwin owning McM together, then this makes it so William would have come into this knowing this man was on such a higher standing than him, had so much skill and wanted to learn, to improve, to be better. Better than Henry. This could also add to the Skinned Teeth story, being as it could be an introduction for all of the characters to come together. Say Emilia was Henry's secretary or worked with him in some way, old friends. But William wants everything Henry has, so he convinces Emilia to transfer to his departement, and Henry, seeing no issue with his friend (Emilia) wanting to see more of the company, approves this transfer. William aggressively flirting and pulling his narcissistic little tricks (oops love bombimg-pulling back-love bombing-pulling back, starve them for attention and make them feel like they should look up to you and want your affections at every second and it may work) They get married in less than a year. Henry is the best man.
This would also allow for Edwin to be in the story, but I am NOT having him be this center of everything like he is in sotm. He is a business man wanting in on the world of engineering, and learning from his best friend-cousin guy, Henry. Henry acts like an older brother, and Edwin learns. Edwin manages finances and business everything and Henry makes their vision come to life.
YOU KNOW WHAT. I LIKE THIS. I like this a lot. I'll just beat sotm to tiny little pieces and pick the ones I like.
This would, in turn, allow for me to possibly change the lore in ways, such as the time and setting for the Pizzaplex, bleh bleh bleh. This would ALSO allow for the high tech stuff of the games to be the way I want it to.
I'd be able to change the Fnaf 1 animatronics in their designs to apply more with the style of the suits in sotm, or make my OWN style. (Which by the way, those suits aren't even FNAF style in sotm, bsffrrn.) What is it with Steel Wool trying to be like every other franchise when they make FNAF. omfggggggggg
I could set McM in 1990 something, post fnaf one, and that'd be moreso in the middle of the Skinned Teeth storyline, making it so Emilia is already Springlocked, so she'd appear as Ballora, or I could set it pre-1980, so a prequel to the entire story.
Heck, I could split it up. Henry starts out at McM with Edwin, moves to start Fredbear's with William, but William is mostly managing it. But this would be tricky as CC (Eli) does die in the bite, also, as well, Circus Baby's Pizza World (CBPW) has to happen before 1983, and even more, before 1976, because that's when CC is born and he does not grow up with William as his father, and so Emilia and William have to divorce before CC is born. I've been debating about CC being Henry's child, and I may have said that earlier in my posts, but I think I'm going to change that. I'd like more that William THINKS that Eli (CC) is Henry's son (because Emilia goes to live with Henry after her and William's Divorce, to which she got custody of Michael (only alive child)) Or heck, even just to avoid the courts again, Emilia could've lied on Eli's birth certificate and said that Henry IS the father. I don't want Emilia and Henry to fall in love very quickly, or much for a while. She's broken, she needs time to heal, and the expectations of another person (though they didn't put it on her, she's afraid they will and reacts that way) scare her intensely. She just got out of an intensely abusive relationship lasting around 8 years, she's not going to throw herself into another relationship. Henry still mourning his dead wife and sister (Anna, puppet lady, is killed around 81, and Henry's wife dies in childbirth), isn't exactly looking for a smooch. It takes like, 10 years? It's either after she gets ballora-ified, or just before. Ough so many ideas. Anyway that was a really long tangent. This whole post is a tangent.
AS I WAS SAYING IF I SPLIT IT UP, and use my proof as of before-- I could get all I want, and say McM is in a bit of a struggling spot because of one of their daughter companies, Freddy's, is failing so miserably, even after all the money put into it. This way I get all that I want, and when I add the mimic in, it could have a company to bring back that isn't Faz.E.
Also the mimic is NOT getting made in the 70s. Be. so. ffrrn. If Freddy's was "innovative" as of the 80s, and was the best tech they had.. What makes you think. That this endo. Would be perfectly fine.
Let's be real. Sotm could've been set in place ANYWHERE in that 30. YEAR. GAP. BETWEEN FNAF 1 AND FNAF 3. AUGHHHHHHHH. I hate the whole "Erm achsuhalkly the mimic was the villian the whole time." Shut. Up. Stfu.
When you think of the VILLIAN of Fnaf you don't think "omg yes the so iconic Mimic that I think about all the time." You think of WILLIAM. FURRY BOY. PEE PAW WILLY. AFTON.
THIS WRITING. IS KILLING ME. When you are making new lore, you do NOT destroy what was there previously. You build off of what we had and you don't mess with the lore we spend ELEVEN YEARS making.
Geez ok I'm mad. Lowkey out here feeling betrayed by a company that's only in it for money. Do the story and the fandom some justice, Steel Wool, come on.
also a little worried because I haven't actually finished watching the game (as I said, I rage quit), and I started writing this to cope. ANWAY!!! I know nobody is actually going to read this but I think I still had a decent time writing it.
Feel free to start a conversation w/ me about any of the topics I mentioned (there's a lot) in this post. I'll willingly reply, don't be afraid I don't bite.

Do Gregory and Vanessa ever have any...bad, shouty arguments? Sure, they're trauma-bonded found family, but...
I can't imagine every moment be happy-pranky-smiley, considering what they both went through (thrice, if you're counting Rabbit Sibs + Security Breach + RUIN)...
Of course they have arguments, especially in the beginning - both of them were still adjusting to everything. You could practically cut the tension between them with a knife. Gregory suddenly lives with the person who was trying to kill him (granted, she was being controlled) and the one who was protecting him that entire night is now just a head.
Vanessa suddenly has to take care of a little kid and his robot dad’s head. She’s finally free from being mind controlled after who knows how long but has to deal with the fear that maybe she isn’t actually free (same case with Gregory, but it’s debatable if he remembers anything from that time). Literally everything changed overnight. Both have a lot of pent-up frustration, anxiety, trauma, etc.

Theatrical Tragedy!!!
(Aka an informational post about an AU I'm currently obsessing over)
This is most likely going to be a somewhat long post, so sorry about that-
Important thing to know before continuing!!!
(Depending on who you are)
Before I say anything else, there is something I want to make clear, because I know that this can make some people uncomfortable. This AU is an AU that contains Sun x Moon. They are not siblings in this AU. There may be times where there is implied shipping of one of these two and another character, but keep in mind that they're not in a polyamorous relationship of any sort (They just do it to mess with people, they both do it, they know the other one does it, it does not bother either of them).
Please also keep in mind that some art posted of Sun and Moon may be considered suggestive (Nothing explicit - mostly because it makes me uncomfortable - but do keep this in mind if you do decide to keep up with the AU). I've been trying to get more comfortable with drawing different things with my art, and this AU just so happens to be a good means for me to try and get more used to drawing characters in a relationship.
Neither of these should end up being posted that often in the art that I do post, but I felt it was important to inform you of the potential of these showing up. I understand not everyone likes these things. If you don't like anything mentioned here, please don't say anything about it, and just ignore the AU. This also applies to anything else you might read or see about this AU. If you don't like it, ignore it.
Introduction.
(Finally)
Basically, in this AU, 'You' are a security worker in the Pizzaplex after the massive layoff of people. The security guards are the only ones that weren't fired, simply because they needed at least some people to do the things the robots couldn't do. Which unfortunately leaves you assigned to the daycare because of false reports of them being broken. ...And no one really trusts either of them. For the most part, you were basically just there to be a babysitter to a bratty animatronic that seems to hate you.
Moon, while rather annoying at times, doesn't have much of a problem with you. Sun seems to act like they hate you. Eclipse.... Eh, you'll find out.
'You'
Referred to Whyen - It's a nickname you've always had
Shorter than average
Unspecified age, but likely in their early twenties
Any pronouns
Refers to the robots as 'It' literally just to be rude
They act a bit of a jerk towards the animatronics, but in general they tend to just not interact with the animatronics, as they make them uncomfortable. They had a sibling who used to work in the now abandoned theater near the daycare. Wonder what happened to them....
Sun!
Goes by many names, and doesn't care what they're called
9'8 (Before and after sharing a body)
They were made after Eclipse, but no one knows how long they've been around
Mostly referred to as male, but goes my any pronouns - except for it, they see it as being dehumanizing
Pretty good with children, but absolutely hates all of the staff. Why? No one's quite sure, they just don't. They were the second AI to be made, and of the three currently known, Sun tends to be the most sensible and easiest to irritate one. One of the easiest ways to irritate them is intentionally doing something wrong, being disorganized, or just being a menace to society.
Moon!
Like Sun, they don't care what name people call them
9'8 (Before and after sharing a body)
They were made after Sun, but no one knows how long they've been around
Usually referred to as male, but goes by any pronouns - doesn't mind being called it
Also pretty decent with children. Doesn't really hate the staff, they just like to antagonize the staff by acting creepy or weird. Usually Moon just doesn't interact though. He tends to be the more silly and mischievous one of the three, and the least sensible of all of them. Moon was planned to be made at the same time as Sun, but they were technically made after Sun literally due to a lack of enough people to work on both of them at the same time.
Eclipse!
Mostly just referred to as Eclipse
10'6
The first to be made, they were made at least 15 years ago (specific date unknown)
You could call them literally anything and they would not care at all
Eclipse - when they were a part of the theater - was usually specifically kept away from the children due to the buggy mess they were. They were nice, but unpredictable. The most chaotic of the three, and yet oddly the calmest. After the theater got shut down, Eclipse was not put into the one body, and instead they were put in a storage room. Why? Probably because of the mess that their AI was.
That one dream guy
Unknown name
Unknown height
Unknown age
Unknown gender
Not much is known about it, other than that you seem to trust it when it appears in your dreams, it seemed to be human, and that it appeared to work at the Pizzaplex.
Fun/Random Facts!
(This list may or may not extend over time)
Eclipse is only taller due to their torso and abdomen needing to be farther spaced apart for their 6 arms (Yes, 6 arms)
Sun and Moon used to be in two separate bodies when they were in the theater! They were only put in one body to save power costs
Sun and Moon choose who is in control; it's not determined by lights
Eclipse broke very easily, and due to this, most of their existence they couldn't change their face expressions very much. To make up for this, they used small signs with different expressions!
Whyen's nickname may or may not be a reference to a certain 'Y/N' the dca Fandom is just a little fond of
Other things not really related to what the AU is about but are still important I think
(Man I'm so bad good at titles)
This AU is rather incomplete, and there has been at least one thing I've gone back and have changed. So chances are, it'll happen again. This could - and probably will - lead to some inconsistencies in the AU. If that happens? Just go by what I say in that very moment is what's canon.
Asks about the AU are welcome! This could be to any character, and you would not appear as Whyen in the story... Imagine yourself as like a child in the daycare or something asking them these questions. But no, through the asks, you would not be asking them through Whyen, if that makes sense.
You can also just send a question to me specifically if you have questions about the AU! I'd be welcome to answer any remaining questions you have after reading this!
This post most likely will be changed as the AU changes.

Personally, I prefer Junko vs Chris McClean (as a lifelong Total Drama fan) instead of Junko vs Springtrap. FNAF is…pretty terribly written actually.
//I like FNAF, but I do agree with you. I stopped getting into the series by the sixth game because I just didn't get it anymore.
//I came back when Security Breach came out, and by that point in time, I just completely lost the plot. Literally.
//I have always preferred Afton as Junko's opponent for a few reasons:
They're both manipulative and conniving masterminds with barely a shred of sympathy to their actions, which mainly involve murdering kids/teenagers.
They are adept at deception and trickery.
They both have a connection to a robot bear.
Both are motivated mainly by deep and twisted concepts, be it an obsession with despair and chaos, or sadistic curiosity.
They both undergo significant transformations byt remain persistent threats in the series; ironically both ended up as an AI program at one point that tried to take over people's minds.
They've both created cult-like followings
Neither of them will fucking die, ever.
//Chris McLean is a close second best for Junko for me.

regular citizens in the future think the death penalty is fine for theft.
Booster legit hasn't even been tried or convicted for the crime, law enforcement is literally just going to kill him
the cops about to rough up Jack for using a computer t try and look up restricted information
a judge ordered that Booster be cured of the illness killing him and his broken arm patched up better. The cop on his case hates that he was ordered to let Booster get medical attention
The doctor doesn't feel right about being ordered to make a man healthy so he can be executed. The cop said that Booster is a terrorist for stealing a time machine and terrorists must die
Rip and Jack dress up in the uniforms they stole from the cops that tried to arrest them to infiltrate STAR labs to get tools/info
so time travel is bullshit and works how the writer wants it to work and the writer of this run doesn't want to have much time traveling going on
that's a lot of cops for a prisoner transfer
Jack is not ok with Rip's action hero vibes and dragging them into danger and fights the top cop threatens to arrest the other cops if they get beat up and can't stop Booster and friends
Booster's missing twin sister heard about him going to get executed and got a school bus and a gun to come fight the cops to save him
Shel, Booster's sister, also says wowzers a lot
the tits and ass contortions they put Booster in too
also both he and Skeets are back to full power from Jack and Rip scavenging stuff from STAR labs
apparently, Shel and the Carter mom knew Booster had gone to the past and had become a superhero b/c someone sent them stuff in the mail about it. Booster's mom was actually proud of him for turning his life around.
Skeets being a museum security robot knew shit and sent info to Booster's family so they knew he was ok. And apparently, SKeets allowed Booster to kidnap him b/c its shit that already happened b/c of time loop
Top cop refuses to belive that Booster was destined to steal the time machine and go back in time to become a superhero and still very much wants to kill him even tho the party is well outside of his fucking jurisdiction
…lets call him A since the context behind him being called an animal is icky. A saves Trixie when she's being threatened by A's master b/c she saved his life
again in the future that Booster came from mentally disabled people with superpowers are used as slaves and attack dogs against other people with superpowers and they're outright called 'animals' which is 10 kinds of fucked up
Shel's going back into the past too now b/c she's a criminal now for fighting the cops and saving and helping her brother who was deemed a terrorist
A figures out that Booster was planning to send everyone back without having a way to get back himself b/c someone has to hold the power cable together. A tosses Booster into the platform and hold the table together himself
A is shot and killed by his master for turning against him just as the party is sent back to the past
Trixie is the only person here sad about A dying for helping them out
the issue ends with Booster in disguise delivering a truckload of food donations to a homeless shelter b/c that nurse's words got to him
