So like. bullet points time, this is an approximate summary of what i think the Plot would be like - wordbuilding aside

Year like, 1500 something (to be more well researched but i do want it to be like. something something renaissance. it works) we've got two poor ass kids born of the same year. Except tommy is pretty much a normal guy, liked by his family and such. His parents have enough children they can gamble for at least one to be successfull, so they send him to be a painter's apprentice in the hope he'll make some kind of money. There, in the slighter bigger town thats almost a city but not quite, he meets tubbo. Now Tubbo would have been a normal guy, except he was born with facial deformities so now everyone thinks he's a demonic freak hated by the gods (this renaissance world is politheistic bc kristin needs to be there and also i wil not do christianity if i dont have to lmao.)

Tommy is not intimidated by any gods. obviously. also his dad is really into the goddess of death and he prays enough for both of them, so he's like. protected and shite. And he immidiately hits it off with the cursed boy

surprise hes not actually cursed but people are dicks anyways. Tommy makes him a fancy mask to cover his face - even thought its totally cool as shit, but its cool enough only tommy should ever get to see it - and that eventually does help him. Because tubbo wasnt like, a shit guy. Hes a damn good builder and knows how to read, which are talents big enough that the costruction workers for that church out of town are ready to ignore the whole probably cursed thing. As long as he as the masks.

Tommy: makes him the first genuine gift hes ever received in fifteen years of life Tubbo: never takes it off again. like never Tommy: shocked pikachu face

anyways so tommy dies like. super young. They have their fun for a few years but at like seventeen tommy is called to be the artist for this very fancy duke of the town over - and at the start they'r super happy bc that means Money and Food and Roof over your head and shite. its a very good fucking deal.

except the noble is a bastard. His town revolts against him, and when they storm the castle they aren't exactly asking names or faces: tommy gets immidiately like, super destroyed by the crowd, and dies a few minutes later.

Tubbo hears of this like five months later bc its the fifteen hunderds and hes poor.

He does Not take it very well ngl

He goes a bit murdery - basically hes like "im not living without tommy, might as well burn down a village while im at it right, right."

Now ranboo, in all of this, freshly the equivalent of seventeen for an immortal death being, is starting on their training to actually become death- His mom send him on a quaint little village in europe thinking "hey, the most those guys die of is like. malaria. consumption maybe. itll be easy as hell"

And now like two hundred different souls are around him with FIRE written on their foreheads and Ranboo feels distinctly outside of his range, to be really honest.

he steps a couple ethereak planes down just to see what the heck is the matter - if this is another of those voide beings his mom will be Super Pissed and they want to see that reaction

And it isnt the void people

Instead, in front of their eyes, the singular most beautiful person hes ever seen - and hes seen lots, in this line of work.

He cant see their face, but their actions speak enough. The sheer rage, the almost dance like movement of their body perfectly framed by the light of their torch, seeing no humanity or mercy in whatever their searching for. their hair look angelic in its softness, burnt by the worst flames of hell and yet tended by the same hands who wield it - strong hands, clearly forged by hard work and dedication. This is a guy who has nothing to lose, and there's little Death loves most than someone who doesnt fear it.

He has to go down, has to speak to them immidiately.

So he does.

There's really no time - his mom had given the singular rule not to interact with humans, shell be on them in Seconds- but one question can be asked in the haste: "What brings a mortal to do this?"

"It's all for you, love!" the mortal says. They also say some other things, after, but Ranboo is not very well versed in the human tongue and they are speaking Very Loudly.

(Tubbo actually said "Fuck you, you motherfucker it's Your Fault, you took every single thing i love". Easy mistake, if one thinks about it.)

Their mom is Pretty Pissed but she does undesrtand stupid things done for young love. So she's like "eh, ive loved mortals too. go have fun" and everything

Except a year passes, and ranboo still hasnt even spoken to the guy, and she remembers suddenly Mortality Exists.

Shes never had them take a soul who died naturally - for lack of occasion, mostly - and they may have been. a tad sheltered. They most definitely do Not know what death actually is like for humans, nor how long does it take for them to die

she wonders if it would be a tad overprotective to take this over for them

she thinks about seventy years in the future, at most, when the boy dies. She thinks that her son cannot cry but can definitely cry. she thinks of their screams of sadness ringing through her ears-

Tubbo wakes up in the river, alive.

He did not Intend to be alive, and it's actually quite unfortunate for him to be so.The survivors are quite angry and probably close to him, now. Welp, no way to die is reallt any worse than another, he thinks. Ill just wait here for them.

When the pitchfork collapses his heart and he continues breathing, he understands something might be a little bit wrong.

And like, a good five hundred years pass like this.

Things Tubbo has learned in his five hundred, twenty three and two halves years on this demon forsaken earth:

Clothes get so much shittier over time. he has One (1) tailored shit from the 1800 and Nothing has even barely compared to it ever since.

getting stabbed does not hurt less just because youre not actually dying. Poisoning is actiively way worse since you're not actually dying. Diving off cliffs is Not Fun. In general, try not to do dying things even if youre immortal

theres a hole in his heart where his loved ones were and it will never get filled

Food gets esponentially better over time. Lord bless whoever decided curry should go on chicken because they were Cooking For Real. Chocolate was still better before though.

Working for soulles bosses has not changed At All in all of this time tho.

he works at mcdonalds because no college would accept his non existant resume, and being immortal dosent deprive him of his needs unfortunately. The manager took one look at this kid dressed from like three different centuries with a goat mask on his head and was like. why not. at least youre not a stoner and you know how to read.

His coworkers firmly believe hes a criptid and have a full going investigation to prove it. The highest bet at fifty dollars says hes mothman in disguise, there to eat the fliest that live on their shitty food. The lowest bets hes an angel waiting for the right time to brign down armageddon.

Every night he goes in the woods to an almost forgotten Death altar and he prays. Half of his prayers consist of insults and the other half are pleas for her to fucking kill him already

This does not help the criptid chronicles

Kristin also has like. only so much patience. Hes holding up the prayers line - which is actually still pretty fucking used in central asia - and hes generally annoying as shit.

She takes ranboo by the scruff, gives them a passable human form, and throws them down there. Get your shit together boy youre like a thousand years old. Get your man (to stop fucking with the phoneline)

Ranboo is Not Enthusiastic about this but cmon. Hes death. How hard can working at a mac really be?

He doesnt want to kill tubbo, he doesnt look at him like hes a fictional creature (and yes marcie, hes seen the bet table), he isnt his soulless boss. Tubbo is grieving but he also very desperstely wants a friend.

One day someone stops at his shitty apartment at like three am

Ranboo stands in fron of his door drenched from head to toe, holding the possibly smallest kitten tubbo has ever seen in his Life. Hes miserable but the cat is miracoulously dry, screaming their head off - and ranboo is panicking. Are they okay are they dying? Do you have any food i dont know what he eats but its so small and i didnt know where else to go- please i dont want it to die or something and-

The moon shines on their long, wet hair and their stupid fucking suit is as wrinkled as ever. They look like they desperately want to rub their hands against each other but there is a kitten in the way and it probably makes them even more anxious - theres very little messes bigger than him, right now.

Tubbo falls in love.

They heal the kitten and keep enderchest in their now shared apartment.

They grow closer, and closer, and something is forming. Ranboo is aware a relationship cannot be based on lies, as much as it worries him how tubbo will react.

so he prepares like a romantic ass evening

roses and candles and a nice dinner with a fancy wine

tubbo almost gets flustered

except at the end of the night the confession isnt "i love you" but "im the guy who took away your only ffamily".

and he sees Red.

Ranboo doesnt remember what tubbo screamed, not exactly. He remembers grief, and crying, and feeling worse than he ever believed he could. He remembers the endless guilt sitting in his chest, and the slam of a door - maybe from the inside out. Hes definitely outside, now, and the house ifìs far away enough eh cant see it, but that could also be the tears.

His mother finds him crouched in a patch of grass, tears steaming down their cheeks in a constant flow. Shes not aware if they'd returned to death form to feel safer, or because they believed they deserved the burn. Shes not sure what option makes her feel worse.

shes aware that this is. pretty much her fault

TO HER DEFENSE she was not really aware humans were so touchy about death. The souls she reaps arent very talkative and the guy shes with is chill about it so like. maybe this one is weird

(the guy she's with is Phil, whos Decidly not a human but has also decided not to tell her yet. For the bit, yknow? He's been a live a couple thousand years, it would be awkward to drop it now. He's also somewhat a serial killer and Not Normal about death At All)

Let's try this again. Sorry. I realize that was a "complete" ask, but I wasn't finished.

After their little Bonnie and Clyde stint, they settle down and mellow out. They still have their more... murdery tendencies and they can live up to their reputation if necessary, but they basically just want to live a simple domestic life with some children to raise.

Of course that plan goes sideways when they lose nearly their entire clutch except for one determined little bean.

Speaking of, I like to think Optimus has some interesting traits from his creators.

He has a set of retractable "claws'' that actually double as mnemosurgery tools (courtesy of Trepan, though he doesn't use them for that purpose, just normal claws), and he didn't just get those beautiful full lips from Overlord, he also got his fangs too (also retractable, he can rearrange his teeth to hide them). He has more of Trepan's helm shape (with his audials and finials, though Optimus's are more broad than needle like) and more of Overlord's body shape and face.

He learned medical sciences from Trepan (though he's not a fan of mnemosurgery) and learned how to fight from Overlord (he refuses to kill someone unless he has to). Unlike how other old acquaintances of his parents who believe their son is soft for "being a runt", or "not utilizing his built-in tools", or "not wanting to kill", they recognize his strengths and support him in whatever ways they can (and they do not tolerate slander of their child, how DARE anyone insult their precious baby!!) For a couple of war criminals with horrendous reputations they make for amazing and supportive parents.

When Orion eventually comes to them saying he wants to join the Autobots, they are understandably concerned and worried - the Autobots may be the lesser of two evils, but even they have committed their fair share of atrocities, some arguably worse than the Decepticons (Trepan would know) - but support his decision all the same. They help him reformat himself so his more outwardly warframe traits are hidden and ship him on his way with promises to keep in touch.

Of course we know how that ends, Orion - renamed to Optimus - is expelled and out of shame he only keeps in sparse contact with his parents until he just suddenly drops off the face of the universe for 50 years and Cybertron believes him to be dead. Overlord and Trepan get word of his whereabouts and decide to drop by for a visit. 

Now if dealing with collecting the pieces of Allspark, the hounding of the Autobot Elite Guard, and fighting the Decepticon High Command wasn't enough stress on his shoulders, the secret he's kept so close to his spark is going to be busted wide open for the universe to see.

I can totally see that, given these two, but sweet that they're willing to settle down. Kinda.

Sejanus screaming NO every time a scheme is created between them is so real to me. I think Lucy Gray is definitely a little more anti-murder than Coryo just due to her reaction to having to kill in the games being really upset about it, especially the death of Dill, but she is 100% PRO SCHEME. She would be plotting the social demise, ensuring people get humiliated or otherwise terrified (e.g harmless snake in dress) and Coryo would be on board all the time if not making them more harmful.

Sejanus would just be chilling and in love thinking about ways to positively affect the world around him holding a spray bottle at all times to stop their menace behaviours. If someone was cruel to Sejanus, Coryo would be going for the rat poison but Lucy Gray would be writing the diss track of the century to perform in front of the entirety of Panem to obliterate them <3 They'd still team up <3

Team ups would be more Lucy Gray snaking them and Coryo, once they're terrified enough, actually killing them. Then Sejanus being like guys what the hell he just pushed me over once.

Regarding the ask game, most COD Ghosts fanfics are Keegan x Logan and I know you ship them too based on the hint in camboy au, I’m interested what your reasons are lol

I adore Keegan and Logan together and I can absolutely explain why I ship them. (Just a quick note I've only played through Ghosts once so forgive me if I get some info wrong)

Most of the reason that I ship them comes from two specific missions: Federation Day and Into the Deep

These two missions both feature Logan and Keegan working as a team with primarily just the two of them the entire time. I think an important thing to note is that Logan was my favorite character after playing through the game, so a lot of my focus while playing was on him and his story/character.

One of my favorite things about the dynamic between Keegan and Logan, specifically during Federation day, is how impressed Keegan is with Logan. As their going through the mission he's complimenting him and just seems incredibly impressed with him throughout the game. But prior to that mission which is, I believe, the first time they work together just the two of them, their dynamic is also one that I like.

Keegan and Merrick both really seemed to doubt the Walker boys prior to seeing them in action. The lines they drop are very much like "try to keep up 🙄" type of dynamics. So for Keegan to go from that so being genuinely impressed with Logan during Federation day already made me love their dynamic.

Then you get to Into the Deep which is another mission that is primarily just the two of them. I think this mission is the one that really solidified them as a ship for me because of the way that they work together. They just work together so smoothly after having not known each other like only a week prior.

Not only that but this mission featured a lot of danger for the two so I felt like you really got to see some care that Keegan had for Logan come out at different points.

I think that because they seemed to get paired off together so much in the game, it kinda impacted how I saw them. And when I play the silent protagonists, a lot of my opinions on their character comes from how other characters interact with them. That being said, I got very like stars in his eyes energy that Logan would have toward Keegan. During Federation Day, I was like "we're trying to impress Keegan aren't we?" Sjdjdjjdjd

I think another part of the reason why I love this ship is because I like the dynamic sjjdhdjd. Like Keegan who is a bit older than Logan and worked with his dad for years before ever meeting him. So there's almost a bit of a taboo there, but at the same time Keegan is young enough that it isn't a weird age gap/predatory thing (esp. Cause he didn't meet Logan till Logan was well into being an adult)

Combine that with like overprotective father/brother combo of Elias and Hesh who know that Logan can take care of himself but also can and will threaten Keegan for looking at their sweet son/little brother makes me laugh.

Like my dynamic for the Walker family is Logan who is murdery/very much not innocent vs Hesh and Elias who know this but also treat him like he's the sweetest little guy in the universe. So adding Keegan to that dynamic where is would probably be like:

"You're corrupting Logan!!! Pervert!!!"

Keegan, who not even an hour ago was dragged into a side room so that Logan could suck the life out of him and demand to be bent over a table: 🧍‍♂️

In truth, this is only my second time playing it, but to me that just really shows how much of an effect this game can have on someone. As for my little "Shep-insert"(is that???? even a thing?? idk) doodling them alongside THE Garrus 'the Archangel' Vakarian has been the one thing to keep my brain going all month, so excuse me while I gnaw on them beyond the expiration date

For starters, I don't call/consider them as THE "Shepard". To me in that in-game Shepard just feels like a totally separate entity

So to ~reimagine~ this, they instead picked up the nickname of being "a Shepherd" through their Earthborn origin via helping poor and struggling families and folks sneak off planet for better lives

The "orphan Earthborn" origin also ties into why they joined the military(free food and stability hell yeah) while also simultaneously hating the government and ignorant politicians LOL

ALSO also, some more fun tidbits on their name, I primarily just call them Null. Simply because, legally, they have no family name or documentation. So for the sake of convenience, they're listed down as first name: [NULL] last name: [SHEPHERD] ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ

As for why it's Garrus, first off why not👀 and secondly, the important thing to know is that they both share the same murdery feelings about bad guys AND also consider themselves the badass strategic one while thinking the other is a noble psycho♡

This is why I love Tumblr, I can make text posts that aren’t on Twitter.

This whole situation with the Talbert files and the Pinkypills thing made me realize how immature the fnaf fandom has become. Like I thought I felt something change by the time Security Breach came out, but it became glaringly obvious when the Scott Doxx happened a while ago.

As soon as that happened, people were more quick to be angry at Scott's decisions that should not be public in the first place, than at the person who leaked that info "for the lolz." Like okay I understand if you're concerned where your money's going after knowing that, but then that should be the case for all transactions ever.

Then, the "in regards to whether the books are canon or not, yes." And then people got mad at him for not answering directly, or it just went over their heads and now they think the books are canon. Like guys, he's a troll, that's how he always is.

And in 2023, we had all the Fanverse drama, and people getting way too heated over different theories.

The Movie hate I have a theory for.

If you were in the fandom around 2015/2016, you might remember how often fnaf got generalized 'for kids' online, or that a large portion of the fandom were kids, so therefore it was cringe. (This is at cringe culture's peak btw.) Years later, the "fnaf vhs horror" videos introduced a more mature portrayal than the source material. I don't have tiktok, but I imagine clips of these got reposted like crazy. This lead to fans that left a while ago and 'cringe haters' to be like "oOOh what did I miss?👀" They are now in a state of "SEE, FNAF ISNT FOR KIDS, SEE?? SEE???" Cringe denial. Then, when the movie came out, they had their expectations ramped up for a gore fest in a similar style, but failed to realize Fnaf was always campy with little to no gore. This is why the table fort scene is "so controversial." Then, some other people who liked the movie, just not that scene, were coping with, "THEYRE JUST KIDS" or "THEY TRYING TO TRICK ABBY INTO TRUSTING HER." The former is more believable, but you can easily just chalk it up to, "They're entertainer robots. They're built to have fun. The murdery is the twist."

Then VR2 happened, which like a bottle of soda pop, went flat really fast. We were still doing things in VR1 longer when that came out.

And now we're at our second drought. The first one was in 2017 before fnaf 6. And again, people are throwing a fit about Scott "defending" pinkypills, and not at the person pretending to be Scott. It's not as bad as the first time, but it's notable. Which by the way, the way he handles these types of situations is very serious and mature from any other content creator. However, I feel like he just doesn't know where to draw the "okay what in tarnation??" line, because he fired the other artist for doing the same things.

Overall, the fandom has become really whiney about every little thing recently. I think it's because from 2014-2016, we were very centered with fan-creativity, and now, since there is too much content to digest at once for newcomers, we have become very centered with theories and lil blues clues. It also doesn't help that there isn't any new content to dwell on, so we're all stuck with eachother.

Twice in Dawkos interview, Scott says something along the lines of no matter the lore, all he cares about is that is characters are enjoyed.

Summary: Woodsboro thought they only had to worry about two deranged serial killers.

Authors Note: Im so sorry this took so long to put out. Depression is a B***h. Thank you for all the support and Love on the last two parts.

“We gotta go now baby. Stay right here and try not to freak out alright? ” Billy reassures you. With that they pull the back door open and run as two police officers rush in through the front to see Sidney lying unconscious on the ground and you laying still as could be. One of the officers looks at you in surprise before kneeling next to Sidney and asking if she’s okay. She wakes up confused and disoriented, but nods and follows them outside. An officer walks in with a stretcher and takes her and puts her on it while another set of paramedics helps you onto your gurney. You hear sirens starting and you decide to close your eyes and take in your surroundings one last time. enjoying the adrenaline from tonight's events.

A car drives down Sidneys driveway and the officer calls to the men in uniform to take care of the evidence while he runs up to the patrol car.

“What’s happening? Who is it?” The sheriff asks as he climbs out of the driver’s seat.

“It’s Sidney. Apparently she and a friend were studying while her dad was out of town. They’re taking them both to the hospital now.” One of the deputies responds.

“It was ghost face wasn't it?" The sheriff asks as he lowers his head.

"According to Sidney, yes. The other girl was blind folded the whole time." The officer responds.

Fast Forward to the Hospital

A couple hours of chaos and what seems like a thousand questions from doctors and nurses later you finally succumb to sleep. You wake up about an hour later and find yourself in a different room than last time. A little bit of light filters through a gap in the curtains and you can see your friends sitting outside the door. You can tell they're worried so you make a sound which catches their attention.

They rush over to you with tears in their eyes.

"Y/N, oh thank god!"  Sidney starts sobbing into your shoulder.

"I'm fine, really, I promise. It's only a scratch, besides I'm feeling great considering what is in this IV." You laugh and they pull away.

"How much do you remember?" Tatum asks looking at you as she rubs her hand across your unharmed arm.

"All of it."

"Everything?" She asks.

You nod and give a watery eyed smile. " I thought they were going to kill me." You say as you let a few tears escape.

Sidney, Billy, Tatum, and Stu all look at you solemnly, interrupted by Dewey walking into the room.

"Do you think you girls are up for answering some questions for us?" He asks as he removes his hat and sits in an open chair.

 "It'll be okay, its just Dewey." Tatum assures you as she pulls you into a hug and kisses your forehead.

“Yeah, no worries guys.” You reply before everyone gets quiet until Dewey speaks up.

“So did any of you know who attacked you last night?” He asked the two of you as you shook your heads.

He looked at Stu when he replied. “Was anyone acting suspicious? Did something happen? Anything out of the ordinary?” He asks.

"Sidney got a weird note in her locker..." You told him. “...and she seemed pretty freaked out afterwards…”

"Anything else?" Dewey asked.

The group of you sat in silence as you tried to come up with anything else. After a long stretch of nothing Dewey sighed and stood up and grabbed an envelope from his jacket pocket.

“This might help.” He said before handing it to you.

You look at it confused, before ripping it open. Once you read it you gasp and cover your mouth with one hand and drop the letter to the ground.

 Tatum picks it up and examines the writing.

“Who was it written to?” Tatum asks with concern in her voice.

You swallow hard and try to force your words to come out coherently.

“Im pretty sure it was written to me.” As soon as the words left your mouth, your heart began racing. The blood pounding loudly in your ears drowning out everything else around you, a million emotions flooded your body and mind. Fear mixed with excitement mixed with arousal, knowing that both your boys left this letter at the scene.

"Well what does it say?" Billy asks.

"I liked the way your blood felt on my skin." you read aloud trying to look more upset than happy. 

“Well isn’t that interesting.” Stu squints as he looks over toward you.

“That is so creepy, y/n. Its like he has a crush on you.” Tatum tells you.

You shake your head, “No, I don’t think so…”

 You trail off as you continue reading the rest of the letter.

“I hope that you enjoyed last night...you will be hearing from me again. Have fun playing my game.” The last part comes out as a whisper.

The letter ends there. You look at everyone before shaking your head sadly. Everyone is silent except for Dewey telling you how sorry he was and giving you an encouraging pat.

“I want to go home.” You say.

“Okay sweetie.” Tatum smiles as she places a soft hand on your leg.

“Let’s all go home and get some rest, I’ll drive you myself okay?”  Dewey says as Stu smiles and you slowly stand and follow after them. He drives you directly to the house and you climb out of the car and make your way inside. You head upstairs and change out of your clothes and get ready for bed.

As you lie under your covers you can feel your phone buzzing in your lap. You grab it and unlock it seeing a message from the boys you love and you quickly answer them as soon as possible.

Billy: Still up?

You: Hey.

You place the phone beside your pillow as a text comes back.

Billy: Sid is staying with Tatum, we will be there in twenty.

Stu: Love you baby, such a good girl for us.

You: I love you both too, I will see you when you get here.

Hearing a slow knock on your front door and then the door opening you know exactly who it is. You wait another minute and then are immediately pounced on by Stu.

"Be careful dickwad, don't hurt her arm!" Billy yells at Stu, making him pout.

You smile and push Stu away and sit up in bed.

"Hey baby...how ya feelin'?" He asks kissing your cheek. "I heard you almost got killed today." He says pulling you back onto his lap.

“We didn’t mean to cut so deep, but I am glad you're okay." Billy says as he joins you both in bed.

You turn and look between them.

"Are we okay?" You ask.

"Of course we are princess, don't worry. I would never let anything happen to you. And Stu wouldn’t either." Billy replies and leans forward and gives you a kiss.

“Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.” You smile before closing your eyes.

You fall asleep to their loving voices in your ear and to the sound of your heartbeat in your chest. You dream of nothing at all for most of the night, but once you awaken to bright sunlight streaming through the window you wake up to the sound of the boys talking excitedly downstairs. When they see you awake, they stop talking.

"What's wrong? Why are you so jumpy?" You ask standing in the opening of the kitchen.

"We were just talking about what happened last night and our next plan. We need to start planning the end game here." Billy says.

"And what is that plan exactly?" You ask as you sit at the table.

"Our next moves are obvious; Tatum and Sidney. The last part of your plan is going to be easy for you. You just have to play dumb and pretend to not know anything.” Stu says.

"Okayyyy, but you have to admit it sounds like a terrible idea. You know I want to help." you reply.

Billy smirks at you and puts his arms around your shoulders and nuzzling his nose against yours.

"We love your enthusiasm, but not happening." He replies softly.

You shrug his arms off and lean back on the chair and glare at him.

"Why is everyone so stubborn?" You groan.

"Because it's fun." Stu replies as he pulls you to him and kisses you on the lips.

Billy laughs at your frustration and kisses you as well.

"Can't we do this later?" You moan as they kiss you deeply.

Billy pulls back with a grin, "Not when we are talking strategy! Now get dressed we are taking you with us today!"

You sigh in defeat. “Fine. But if things go sideways you better hold my hand.”

You get up and go change into your regular clothes, leaving the boys to get changed too.

You put on leggings and one of the boys hoodies and go downstairs. They are standing waiting for you outside the door. "Are you sure we can take her? I doubt she is going to behave." Billy asks quietly. "Duh.” Stu responds sarcastically with a small laugh before looking at you again. "First of all, I can hear you." You say as you flick them both between the eyebrows. " Second, Rude."

They burst out laughing as they walk to the car, while you hop into the back seat. A moment later Stu gets behind the wheel of the car and Billy riding shotgun, and you buckle in. Stu pulls off and you close your eyes and listen to the low playing music. It takes about twenty minutes before you reach your destination and you take in your surroundings as soon as you pull in. It doesn’t take you that long to realize why Billy said this was going to be the perfect spot for your little end game meeting.

It's one of those old fashioned parks that are full of trees, grass and flowers of all kinds and a path leading up to a large picnic area. There are many empty benches sitting around it and when Stu kills the engine you jump out of the car. "Welcome to the park." Stu grins. Billy jumps out of the car and closes the door behind him. You all gather around one of the benches and no one says a word, just enjoying the serenity of the quiet until you hear Billy clear his throat.

" Tatum dies tonight." He says matter of factly.

Your first goal is the same. Kill Tatum.

Stu's face breaks out into a grin and you nod in agreement.

"What are the rules?" you ask.

Billy looks at you with a proud expression, "We kill her and anyone that gets in the way of me killing Sidney. You are not to be apart of this, y/n. You are just the friend that came to a party and got too drunk and went to sleep it off. We can not have you getting caught or hurt, deal?" After a while the boys finish talking about the details of the plan. Billy walks over to you and grabs your hands. "We can't afford any mistakes because of you. If something goes wrong, it could cost you your life, so keep that in mind and don't act stupid." "I hate that plan, but fine. I'll be good." You give them both a mock salute thinking to yourself of how you're not going to actually listen to them. You're killing someone, and it doesn't matter who.

hal is an asshole and arrogant to 99% of capes EXCEPT ollie, people he finds attractive, other lanterns (sometimes), and tim.

in fact tim is the only one of the bats hal likes which surprises a lot of people.

nightwing and ollie are incredibly similar people which means the two of them rub each other the wrong way nearly every time they're together. and sure hal may not have an exact problem with the other cape but ollie is his boy soooooo.

red hood has a bad reputation among many capes by default of the whole murdery thing. hal feels sympathy for him because he's heard the lazarus pit packs a punch and he has also suffered the consequences of being on a mental spiral. plus kyle seemed to like the guy. but hal's not about to go out of his way for the red hood of gotham.

hal doesn't like the newest robin because he's heard firsthand from timbo about what a douche the kid could be.

few other bats tend to leave the nest and from what he's heard- batwoman's got the same stick up her ass as batman. so hal doesn't have very high expectations of the others. and he doesn't have much interest in learning about them either.

except for tim.

hal has plenty of reason to pay attention to tim. aside from tim being a younger and smaller kid desperately in need of guidance from a real stand-up guy like hal.

for one, they're both middle children. middle children should all stick together.

two, the kid's a little rascal :)

three, it pisses batman off to no end when he spots hal hanging around his robin.

four, the kid ignites some odd, motherly instincts in him and he finds himself scrubbing away a dirt stain that turns out to be a bruise from his cheek just like his mother did when he was a kid and it's something that when he realizes what he's done makes him fall silent for solid few minutes.

five, the kid is the funniest person he knows which baffles everyone when he tells them. sure it's a dry sort of humor that requires knowledge of a number of obscure things not even batman cares about but it's funny as hell to listen as the kid has a calm conversation with batman and knowing that batman's been called dramatic, smelly, and slutty all in one sentence.

six, hal nearly honest to god cries when the kid asks if hal will sign the permission slip for him to attend some flying lessons that he bought for 80 dollars on groupon.

and after NOT doing that and instead taking the kid out on his plane while carol is out of town, hal accepts it.

(WHB) what would the demons think about MC learning teleportation spells? (through Solomon magic idk) MC could go to earth and back to hell in seconds. How would the kings (and Sitri,Bimet,Phenix) feel if MC comes back smelling like Minhyeok's cum? (and looking like a little tired too lol)

Fun answer: They're just silly little guys who all have territory issues when it comes to Minhyeok and MC would lose their ability to walk for an entire month after coming back smelling like Minhyeok's cum. Out of all the kings so far, Satan is seemingly the most amicable to Minhyeok, with Sitri getting all the animosity there. Ppyong would probably make a comment about MC smelling like Minhyeok's white stuff. XP Beelzebub would get really possessive and only slightly murdery. He doesn't like Minhyeok smelling like MC, but MC smelling like some other guy who isn't around... He may be sending a clone home with them. Leviathan is going to be the most judgmental bitch. Mammon would give zero shits as long as he also got to fuck. Mammon is really chill, honestly.

Real answer: Even if MC learned teleportation magic, they would not be able to use it. Part of the deal that MC made with Satan prevents them from leaving Hell until their end of the contract is fulfilled. Or, rather, they can leave, but it will kill Minhyeok since that's a breech of contract. So... MC is stuck in Hell without Minhyeok until they free all 72 devils that Solomon made a pact with. And, honestly, once they leave Hell I'm not sure if they can go back.

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #169

Today I played more Elden Ring. A few of my friends popped by to say hello as I toodled around while being a total derpasaurus rex on a lovely horned horse named Torrent. Torrent is wonderful; I don't know how or why he puts up with my clumsy ass, hahaha! But I do like to feed him lots of treats when I can, so maybe that's a little something.

There was a dragon terrorizing a place called Agheel lake; it made it really hard to get around. With Torrent's help, I was able to make it so that there is no longer a dragon terrorizing the lake. I also temporarily removed some bullies who were blocking off a bunch of roads for unknown reasons. Of course, the bullies come back to life anytime I rest. But still, a moment's peace is a moment's peace.

Really, I'd just like to explore this world unhindered with Torrent. I'd like to listen to the stories of the people who wander around. I meet a few friendly faces, but… most everything in this world wants to kill me, and I think that's kinda sad because it's such a beautiful world with very dramatic geography and lots of interesting creatures to observe!

I wonder if you'd like looking at this world. There was a place called Stormhill and you know what? I bet it would be an AMAZING place to fly a kite, if my character could have a kite. But there are no kites. Instead, there was this big machine called a Golem that came out of the ground, and it tried to kill me with its giant axe, and that was very inconvenient, so I broke the machine until it stopped moving. Hopefully the road will be a little safer for other travelers; having a giant hostile machine pop out of the ground like that was very surprising!

There was another giant, hostile machine that was shooting big ol' arrows at me as I tried riding along some road. So I broke that machine, too. What kind of person builds giant, hostile machines and then leaves them unattended, anyway? It seems very irresponsible! Also in this world, there are all these folks who think that nobody gets to use the section of road they're on except for them, and I don't think that's very nice at all. I try to put a stop to that nonsense in the only way this game lets me; no one can be reasoned with, it seems.

…I do try to avoid fighting when I can, though. There are these guys called Wandering Nobles, and the unarmed ones don't try to kill me, but they do seem terrified of me for some reason. I usually leave them be; I think they're undead, so they're clumsy, slow, very uncoordinated, and not especially bright. But sometimes, they get ahold of a torch or a sword or some magic spell that they can derpily swing around, and then they think they're some Hot Shit™, and when they get like that, they won't leave me alone.

I would like to say to them, "Guy… my dude. C'mon. Please just chill. Please stop swinging around the sharp pointy thing - you're gonna hurt yourself. Seriously bruh, I just got rid of that very murdery dragon over there, and I promise that you are not stronger than a dragon; can't we just be cool? Let's just be cool, okay?" But I can't say that, and so they do not chill, they do not stop swinging the sharp pointy thing, they continue to be VERY not cool, and they will chase me if I try to run, which is counterproductive, so all I can do from there is "axe" them very politely to stop.

I think I might stop playing this game, though. There are a few unsavory aspects of this game that I had forgotten about. One of them is the situation at a place called Castle Morne. The context and story is complicated, but the short version is that there are living things called "Misbegotten". I hate that they're called this, so I will call them "Crucible-Touched" instead. The "Crucible-Touched" come from something called "The Crucible", and that is, essentially, a "primordial form of the Erdtree". I have no idea what that means, other than the "primordial form" still having something called a "Death Rune", I guess. The "Erdtree" is, essentially, the "Crucible", but with the "death" part of the life cycle removed. Though my interpretation might not be exactly right; the lore is a little hard to understand, admittedly, and lots of it is left intentionally vague, and there are mistranslations. Weird things sometimes happens when you try to translate old-timey Japanese into old-timey English.

Here is what the "Crucible-Touched" look like:

The lighting in this picture I found on the internet is weird, but don't let it fool you! As you can see, they have it all! They have wings to fly with, claws to defend themselves with, nice big jaws to eat with (as someone with a small and misshapen jaw, I envy this a little...), efficient legs to walk, jump, and run with, good feet for even weight distribution, opposable thumbs to build and manipulate objects with, good, smart, sentient brains to learn stuff with, strong and agile muscles to enact their will, cute little chubby faces, and they're soft and fluffy with their feathers and fur!! Literally, what is there not to like??? I cannot find anything wrong with any of this!! If there is a flaw in this living thing, I don't know where it is!!

So the people of this world think of the "Erdtree" as a refined "Crucible", and they also think that anything that comes of the "Crucible" is inferior, tainted, impure, and reminiscent of devolution. These "Crucible-Touched" were once seen as divine, but that changed once the "Crucible" became the "Erdtree", and then all of a sudden they were seen as bad, rotten, filthy things, and subsequently treated like slaves and abused horribly. And it really sucks, because there is one guy who is "Crucible-Touched", and his name is Hewg, and he's absolutely delightful and brilliant and really good at what he does. It doesn't make sense to me that he gets treated as less than a person. It's not right. I don't like it.

So the "Crucible-Touched" at Castle Morne revolted. Tired of being enslaved, abused, degraded, and tortured day in and day out, they lashed back at their tormentors because their only other option was to try to go out on their own into a world that is a death trap. The end result of that is that they'll either be killed by something that hates them just because of how they were born, or they'll be hunted down by the people whose abuse they're trying to escape from. In my world, it is said that the first duty of a wrongly-imprisoned person is to escape. As such, slaves must escape bondage and abuse by whatever means that are available to them - that is the way of things. As such, I have absolutely no interest in fighting the "Crucible-Touched" - none whatsoever.

But I do have an interest in delivering a letter written by one of the escaped nobles of that castle, who I guess had no idea how horribly the "servants" were being treated. It's complicated. I want to deliver the letter, but the "Crucible-Touched", who I have no quarrel with, are hostile to me on sight, which is natural; goodness knows how many decades they have of being mistreated by humans, and they have no way of knowing that I mean them no harm. The letter is from a young woman named Irina to her father Edgar, who is the commander of the castle. Irina just wants Edgar to forget about the castle and go live peacefully with her somewhere else. But Edgar is going to want the sword that was stolen by the leader of the "Crucible-Touched" before he will leave to go be with his daughter.

…But… I have no interest in killing a justifiably angry living thing over some stupid sword. I'd much rather negotiate for the sword - the "Crucible-Touched" get to keep the castle in exchange for the sword and letting Edgar go be with his daughter. Seems like it should be a fairly simple exchange. Kinda like this:

"Hey there, Mr. Uprising Leader Dude. It's cool. I'm cool. We're cool. Everything's cool. I just wanna get that Edgar guy outta your hair; he and his ilk were total poop-waffles to you and to your brethren, and that sucks and I hate it and it never should have happened, and I'm sorry for all the suffering you've endured up until this point. Things in the world are all fucked up because of the Erdtree, and it's really unfair and you have every right to be upset; nobody should be making you suffer for the nature of your existence. But he ain't gonna leave until he's got that sword. So how about this - you gimme the sword so I can give it to him, and you get to have the castle and Edgar goes very far away and nobody bothers you or your kin ever again; you can turn this place into a safe haven for others who are Crucible-Touched, and if anyone tries to bother any of you here just for existing, then you just gimme a holler and I'll come a-runnin' to help fend off any ne'er-do-wells who are giving you problems. Deal?"

Unfortunately, this game does not allow for anything other than fighting. And… if you complete this questline, Irina ends up dying, and Edgar ends up going insane. So essentially, if I try to get the abusers away from the abused, bad things happen. It is better if I do nothing. But then if I do nothing, there is still suffering. And… I guess it just kinda… seems futile.

My "big bad power fantasy" is to be able to help everyone and to come up with peaceful solutions to things. I had forgotten in this game just how seldom it's possible to do either of those. Even if you do try to help in the ways that are made available to you as a player, it usually ends up in tragedy anyhow, and that's… really not a whole lot of fun for me.

I wanna fix it. It shouldn't have to be like this. The "Erdtree" gives "order" by oppressing a whole heck of a lot of different kinds of living (or unliving) things and by suppressing free will and perpetuating cycles of trauma, and it ain't right. But then, if you break the Erdtree, everything dissolves and there is no such thing as comfort or joy anymore…

…I think I'm all done with it. I'm gonna choose a different game, because this one is depressing, and the world I live in is already depressing enough as it is; my planet is already dying and there's tragedy and cruelty everywhere you look and there's absolutely fucking nothing I can do about any of it because I am just one insignificant voice in a sea of 8 billion voices, with not a lot of resources at my disposal, and living in a body that most people think is on the lower end of the "worth" spectrum. I am nothing and no one in this place, and my voice doesn't really count for anything.

...Given this, sometimes I wonder why I even bother to keep writing, because I can't imagine anything will come of it. But I'm going to keep at it anyway, because... what else is there that I can do? I can't do nothing. I have to try. I have to care...

Anyway, all of that is why it's necessary to keep looking for the sparks of joy and beauty in everything, no matter how small those sparks are, or else the sheer weight of the despair in this place will crush the life right out of you and extinguish the light in your eyes. In short: I don't need my temporary electronic escape from reality to thematically resemble real life; it kinda defeats the purpose, ya know? I want to be able to DO SOMETHING about the suffering around me, and if not even the make-pretend space will allow me to do that, then what's the freaking point??? If I wanted to feel helpless and unable to do good things, I can just read the damn news. At least then I don't also have to become increasingly skilled at very difficult make-pretend combat in order to chase that nihilistic feeling of futility.

Guess I'll end this one here. Maybe tomorrow I'll try to create something. I don't know how I manage to feel so busy and so idle at the exact same time, but here I am doing it anyway, and trying hard not to get too caught up in the guilt of it all. I know I'm overwhelmed, but it's hard to pinpoint why exactly. Hm.

Well anyway. Do stay safe out there, won't you? Please remember that you're a person no matter how you were made. Those "Misbegotten" are NOT misbegotten, and I hate that they're called that. And you're not misbegotten, either, okay? Please do your best to know that. Do everything in your power to understand that you are a good thing. Once upon a time, they wrote an AMAZING post wherein Johnny Storm from the 2015 Fantastic Four movie was actually an adopted Erik Stevens, aka Killmonger, since they're played by the same actor.

I adore this idea more than you can imagine, even though I finally watched the 2015 Fantastic Four movie and spent a lot of the time screeching at the screen in anger/frustration. The Fantastic Four are campy, not grimdark. Stop that nonsense immediately. Also the writing needed ten times better pacing but I can be fussy about that.

I also had a realization at one point that the Fantastic Four are the classic four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. Stupid jokes were made about the Avatar.

Then my brain took three steps to the left and went "If anyone needs a life-changing field trip with Zuko, it's ABSOLUTELY Killmonger. He could do with being a little less murdery."

So imagine, if you will, a Firelord Zuko following an old ritual appeal to chat with a 'fire spirit' - Toph is accompanying him because dammit, ONE DAY she will get her life-changing field trip with Zuko, ONE DAY!!!! - but the guy who shows up isn't the Human Torch.

A pre-Black Panther Erik Stevens, aka Killmonger, does not know where he is or what the HELL is going on, but An Interesting Time Will Be Had By All. XD

Finished watching trigun anime today, they killed off my favorite character in the last 5 episodes so now I'm sad

sure! i was devastated first time i watched the show and that happened. and it hurts every time i rewatch it as well.

fortunately i will not be killing off any characters <3

this is the second and shortened time i wrote this and it's STILL Quite A Bit Long. anyway here's a read more

emmet and ingo are a pair of twins that survived the SEEDS ships crash after an unexpected and massive solar flare basically messes with all of the navigation systems (and like. everything else.)

emmet is a bit disillusioned with humanity but he's not like. evil and murdery like knives. but he still doesn't like being around humans that much. ingo is Not like that.

eventually ingo disappears, emmet is distraught.

a strange man wakes up in the distant settlement of Pearl, and is given the name Nobori.

after a while nobori ends up wandering the planet for. decades. emmet starts hearing rumors about nobori and has a very tiny hope. but it's enough to get him to actually try searching for ingo again. since he's actually out and doing stuff he somehow (and unwillingly--) picks up a small group of stragglers that follow him around for some reason. he's not particularly a fan of this but they're helpful so he deals.

it all culminates to nobori and emmet meeting each other in the city of July. all nobori can remember of July is flashes of confusion and panic and fear and a horrible horrible light.

and emmet is. he's. confused and upset. his brother blasted his legs off-- did he really hate emmet That Much? so as much as emmet wants to find him and reunite. that ended real bad last time. so he hides himself away again and intentionally does Not try to seek out Ing-Nobori.

nobori wakes up confused once again, this time sans an arm. also a bounty on his head for destroying one of the biggest cities on the planet. wonder what that's all about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

eventually through events emmet's weird little gang ends up taking care of this little girl-- dawn. they're not the best parents and she grows up to be self reliant far earlier than she should have.

Emmet still doesn't want anything to do with his brother (LIE) but once Dawn is old enough he sends her off to find Nobori and keep tabs on him. but like. don't tell emmet about anything unless it is significantly life threatening.

meanwhile two insurance girls, Elesa and Skyla, have been ordered to stick around the walking calamity, Nobori the Eclipse, to try and mitigate any damages that may occur because of him. shenanigans and fun times.

(-- at some point, not sure where exactly to first bring her in, but the gang ends up crossing paths with Zisu. ex-sheriff turned bounty hunter/hired gun, after a series of moral disagreements with the mayor of her old town led to her being kicked out. zisu isn't dumb enough to go seek out the bounty for nobori but she's also not dumb enough to take the opportunity that's presented to her hhdkshdjdjhf. but through a series of events she and nobori are forced to work Together and afterwards she decides. nah i actually like this guy he's neat :> and kinda sticks around, not necessarily always traveling with the squad but they do cross paths a lot)

and so as nobori and elesa and skyla are in a bus crossing the desert, they find some kid passed out in the middle of nowhere. dawn ends up sticking around full-time. you know for no reason in particular or anything. (and nobori cannot help but adore this weird little girl. feels oddly protective over her. this will not develop into parental feelings at all (lie))

and thus, the gang has grown and so has the propensity to chaos and shenanigans.

the "current" day story, what u see in the anime and manga, is a lot more vague than the rest of the backstory, but there's a lot of nobori running from his decades-due existential crisis, weird stuff starts happening, friend and family bonding. even More weird stuff. nobori starts getting the barest flashes of memory-- both of July and also Before. and eventually eventually eventually, emmet and nobori finally reunite and no one gets their legs blasted off.

(emmet learning that his brother has amnesia like. oh. oh . i could have avoided so much stuff if i thought of that)

- various other npcs such as irida and kamado and the wardens show up as assorted side characters throughout the entire thing. for example, irida is one of the kids that nobori knew way WAY back when. kamado is the mayor of the town zisu came from. rei is actually the one that made nobori's prosthetic arm, from technology he'd scavenged from a seeds ship. (it's not too advanced and doesn't have a gun in it like vash's, though). akari is rei's sibling and Dawn's grandma. drayden is also mayor of a town (specific idea there that we don't have time to get into fhdkbdjsd). volo is Some Guy who tries to sell them stuff that shows up occasionally but doesn't have plot relevance. etc etc etc

- the gung ho guns obviously,, aren't really a thing. the characters certainly exist SOMEWHERE but they're Different. and not the gung ho guns.

- bringing in backstory and minor plot aspects of the manga, but the plot is something more similar to the anime. out of 100 percent personal preference, i just liked the anime's plot better.

- yes this means tessla did exist. that was such an integral part to their backstory I'm sad it didn't get included in the anime. for people who don't know the manga. well. i do plan on making something about that eventually, so. >:)

Vincent Price (The Price of Fear) "(To be clear, this is a fictionalised version of himself that he portrayed in a radio show, not the real life person. Although the "total strangers confess weird often disturbing and confidential things to him unprompted" aspect WAS apparently true of him in real life--I don't know that anyone ever confessed to murder but a lot of strangers who recognised him would apparently confide all kinds of secrets and strange stories to him since he was fairly nonjudgemental and wasn't the type of guy to interrupt or walk away when someone was talking to him. The "just knowing things" part…well, he did believe he had some level of psychic abilities/premonitions IRL, but I don't know what to make of that. Either way though the character being submitted for this poll is the fictionalised version, who shares a lot of traits with the real man but gets into clearly fictional situations in each episode.) Vincent discovers all kinds of Dark Secrets (TM) in the form of a different supernatural or murdery event each episode. Sometimes this involves him actively investigating mysteries to discover the truth about various strange occurrences. Other times he's more of a witness to events, often becoming the only person alive to know the truth about something horrible--for instance going on a fishing trip with a guy leads to him discovering the guy's been killing people and feeding them to sharks. Other times, people just…tell him things--in fact, people open up to him extremely quickly in most episodes, he only has to ask a couple of questions to get someone to tell him all about his experience of being possessed, but the most notable examples are the FOUR occasions where a total stranger approaches him, sits down opposite him, and confesses to murder almost totally unprompted, in an unusually coherent way (OK so one guy was a very nervous and hesitant person who takes a little bit of prompting, but his confession still forms a coherent and narratively interesting enough story to make an episode of a radio show!), while Vincent just (mostly) calmly listens to it all. Also he…knows stuff. Inexplicably. Like, maybe not concrete factual stuff so much, but like, at least to what in a different context I'd call force-sensitive levels. Any time he thinks something's wrong, or someone's in danger, or that he might never see this person again, or he claims to sense Evil, without fail he is accurate. (Also the promotional art for the show features him staring at you somewhat disturbingly.)"

Futaba Sakura (Persona) "A playful hacker who acts as the Phantom Thieves’ Mission Control, using her technological skills to uncover information in the real world and her Navigator abilities to provide information about the Palaces and Shadows in the Metaverse. The Phantom Thieves recruited her to take down the hacker group Medjed (named after an Egyptian deity whose description calls him “that smiter […] who shoots with his eyes”), only to discover that she’s the original Medjed. Her Personas are Necronomicon (a source of forbidden knowledge that drives people mad), Prometheus (who stole fire from the gods for humanity), and Al Azif (the Arabic title of the Necronomicon). She has a habit of using her skills without regard for privacy or consequences, such as her bugging of Leblanc to keep an eye on Sojiro, bugging the protagonist's phone camera so she can keep an eye on them during their trip to Hawaii, and finding out her Uncle's financial history. When the Thieves are targeting Makoto’s sister Sae, she offers to tell them about Sae’s history with men and “her repertoire of underwear.” Makoto even mentions before the Hawaii trip that she's glad Futaba is on their side, recognizing she'd make a fearsome enemy."

naomi [LAST NAME PENDING], a character i have in mind for a sort of noir story. set in 1940's philly, naomi gets caught up in a murder plot that took the life of her close friend (and possible lover?) jack. she's being pinned for the crime, and teams up with oscar, a former detective called out of an early retirement to investigate his old friend jack's death. the plot and dynamics get pretty tangled between oscar, jack, and naomi, and there's secrets! betrayal! bisexuality! doom by the narrative! hand in unlovable hand! they're complicated and a little toxic and murdery but i love naomi w all my heart

aaaaand vice, a tiefling bladesinging wizard pc i also have yet to play! don't you hate it when you get sent off to wizard school and things are going great but one day you black out in the middle of class and wake up to find that you've massacred all your classmates and have no memory of it? and now you're on the run, never knowing when you'll wake up with blood on your hands and haze in your mind? isn't that just the worst
