No because @iinmysights rb'd my post about eldest daughter syndrome dick and they mentioned dick going to jason for comfort every once in a while and now I'm having feelings.

Because Dick never had anyone he could vent to fully. He had friends, he had Barbara, he had Donna, he had Kori, but he never really tells any of them everything from what I've seen. Because in the titans, whatever he did would reflect back on Bruce, and he couldn't possibly let anything negative reflect back on Batman. That just wouldn't do.

So where does that leave Dick? Especially after Wally, one of his best friends if not THE best friend, isn't in the picture anymore? Where does that leave Dick, who has gone through so much and lost so much, when he feels like there's nowhere else to turn? Where does that leave Dick, when he doesn't want to burden Donna? Or anyone else?

Imagine the surprise when Dick reaches out. Not because Jason doesn't care, but because he doesn't expect it. He thinks he's the last person Dick would reach out to, even though it's happened in the past. He thinks, in his mind, that Dick would reach out to literally anyone else.

But he reaches for Jason. He shows up, unannounced, at the unmarked safehouse Jason is using. He's on the border between Gotham and Blüdhaven, hiding out and letting the heat drop off before he steps foot outside again. And here's Dick Grayson, the legend behind Nightwing himself, asking to come in.

Jason let's him, brings him in before the storm can roll through him too hard. Dick sits on his couch, Jason offers him some of his shitty takeout, and Dick rags on him for preferring spring rolls over noodles. Jason distracts him, makes jokes and rags on how he's still wearing the same fucking Beatles shirt he's had since 1993.

It's comforting. Jason fills the silence, he listens when Dick starts to break. Jason doesn't expect perfection. He doesn't expect Dick to articulate everything, doesn't expect Dick to crack wise and account for everyone else. Jason just let's Dick breathe, and they work it out together late into the night until Dick has spilled his guts and feels exhausted, face stained with tears from the sheer force of the emotional bomb that went off inside his body.

Dick apologizes for exploding like that, for being a mess. Jason shrugs, makes a distasteful joke about being used to bombs, and Dick ends up leaving with the sunrise. Jason picks up empty containers from the takeout, ignores the way his stomach growls because he let Dick eat what he bought for himself. He doesn't mind.

If nothing else, Jason takes comfort in knowing that when things fall through, Dick knows he can lean on him. After all, when everyone else turns to Dick, it's a pretty important gig being the one Dick turns to.

I always wondered why they don't nickname Chilchuck to "Chil". Because Chilchuck is quite a long name, it's way easier calling him just Chil. And then this.

It's all the opposite of how it would normally work. Usually, people call each other by their first (or second sometimes) names, but when they're called by the full thing... it means either nothing good is happening, or they're being called in a formal way.

Isn't imposible to think that the party actually called him Chil, since it's his first name and a nice nickname for him. In fact, they probably did, and Chilchuck told them they shouldn't call him that and explained why. They stopped calling him Chil, and accepted calling him Chilchuck for the rest of their lifes, apparently. Actually, we don't see anybody calling him like that until...

Laios tries to get his attention with something that normally would. Calling him his first name, something that he told them specifically not to do doesn't even makes him flinch. And then he's sure that Chilchuck is out of it and proceeds to intervene.

It's such a subtle detail, I don't remember if they call him "Chil" on other panels, if they do, reblog with evidence so we have all the oficial Chil moments here.

I like to imagine Leo is very affectionate, but when his brothers show him affection, he freezes up. Especially after the invasion, he fucking cries when his brothers show him affection wihtout him needing to "earn it" or anything like that

you found yourself always wondering; “am i good enough for him?”, “do i deserve him?”. comments had been lashed out earlier this evening to darken those already eerie thoughts that you fought so hard to not reside with. a long, long stay.

jack came into the room, that was the man that’s ‘in love with you’. those thoughts slashed at your mind little cuts kept wracking your head. the trance you were in was broken by your lovers lips lovingly placed onto your head, and you felt the couch slightly dip when he sat down beside you. his arm snaked around your shoulders and pulled you close to him, your head lying on his shoulder.

no one questioned if he did enough in this relationship. no one made snarky comments on how he was so quiet, how he looked like he never put enough effort into how he showed his love, but they did to you. and it was torture trying to hit those thoughts out of your brain. every single one of those comments lingered for longer and longer each time someone made another.

“what’s wrong?”

his soft voice lingered in the room as he ran his calloused hands up and down your arm. the television was playing in the background, an old re-run of big bang theory, muted, but with subtitles.

“jack, it’s just,” you started, why couldn’t you form words. a pang in your heart stung against your chest. “i don’t deserve you.” you whispered, he froze, eyes straying from the tv and to your slumped form against him.

“what makes you think that?” he murmured, his blue eyes connected with your glossy (e/c) ones.

“i- im not good enough-“ you were cut off by a sweet kiss to the lips. “don’t talk like that. i don’t care if your quiet, i don’t care what people say about our relationship, (y/n)!” he exclaimed. “people don’t know you, and how lucky i am to actually know and to be with you. i thank anyone in the skies above that they let me hold your hands. you are everything, my universe, my world. don’t let people tear into you.”

he rubbed his hands up and down your spine as you sobbed painfully into his chest, dampening his shirt.

the thoughts were still there, but at least you had someone to guide you along this long and winding road.

Something I noticed about the music in the most adorable scene from the Mario Movie 🥹❤️💚✨

Yesterday I shared a post on my instagram account (san.marioluigifan) on something I noticed a while ago about the music that plays in the most adorable scene, and also one of my favorites, from the Mario Movie 🤭👀

I'm obviously referring to this scene 👇🥹❤️💚✨

Have you noticed the music that plays while Mario and Luigi hug? 🥹 We can hear the main theme of the movie, but it mixes with the Level Complete theme from Super Mario Bros. You can check it here! The main theme starts at minute 3.14, but then at 3.20, Level Complete from the NES game starts playing and it mixes perfectly well with the first one.

And it makes perfect sense! 🤩👏🏻 After all, everything Mario wants most for much of the movie plot is to be reunited with Luigi, and, since in this scene he's just rescued him and they're finally back together, we could say that Mario has, in a sense, completed the level 🤭🥹

I adore this scene with all my heart 🥹 From the first time I saw it in the cinema it reached deep inside, and every time I watch it again, I'm moved to tears - it's so beautiful and adorable and touching! 😭 It perfectly shows the strong and solid bond that exists between the siblings, filled with love and adoration, and I can’t help but melt every time I watch it 🥹❤️💚

I mean, look at their faces when Mario catches Luigi in mid-air and they see each other after days apart – they’re the picture of joy! 🥺😭 Luigi's smile couldn't be wider, I think it's the time he smiles the most in the whole movie, and Mario is so relieved to be reunited with his beloved little brother at last! 😭

In fact, he’s so happy that he can’t hug Luigi just once: notice how he joins his forehead to Luigi's in order to reassure him and make sure he’s safe and sound, notice how strongly and eagerly Mario hugs him a second time, notice how he lifts him up in the air out of sheer emotion! 😭 And his happy face when he finally puts Luigi on the ground 🥹 And Luigi's sigh of relief after understanding that he’s not dreaming and that his brother has really saved him and is back with him, AW 🥹💚❤️

This scene just makes my heart so warm! 😭💖 And when I realized that the Level Complete theme was playing, I was like, "This just makes this scene even more perfect than it already is! 👏🏻" I love it so much! 🥹💖

Had you guys noticed this? Are you as moved as I am by the embrace of these adorable brothers? 🤭🥹 I wish I could pull them off the screen to give them a big hug myself, I adore them way too much 🥹❤️💚✨

already seeing a lot of ppl saying that the finale leaned too much into the more unhealthy aspects of simon and betty's relationship and like people are entitled to their opinion but. i dont really get that?? the whole point is that before this series THOSE ASPECTS HAD REALLY NEVER BEEN EXPLORED. aside from that one time in temple of mars, their past relationship had honestly been extremely romanticized and glamorized, and i for one am glad that they acknowledged their relationship was not perfect even back then.

but i highly disagree with anyone claiming that the finale tried to paint their relationship as having been bad or it being good that its over. i dont think it was saying that at all! they make it very clear that they loved each other and their relationship was great!! but it was not PERFECT and i think for the purpose of simon being able to move on it was important for him to realize that. thinking of the past as being flawless only leads to an inability to move on from it.

i definitely understand wishing that they had a happier ending, but personally i think them getting closure with each other and being able to live on separately is good. its been established there is seemingly no way to bring betty back to her regular self, and i think it would've just felt deus ex machina-y if they pulled a way out of their asses at the last second. plus it probably would've just reinforced their reliance on each other. betty basically lived for simon and simon lived for her, then marceline, then fionna and cake. now, they're able to live for themselves.

it's not the happiest ending they could've had, but it felt satisfying to me. like betty said, they made their choices. and clearly now that she's part of golb she's been able to reflect and realize her sacrificing everything for simon was unhealthy, which i think is good! she doesn't seem to be too unhappy as part of golb. hell knowing her she probably thinks its awesome she gets to be part of a monstrous chaos god. and she clearly is still watching over simon :') but that distance is a good thing, i think.

anyways this is just my opinion, and you're totally entitled to not like their ending, but i will say definitively that the finale was not in any way portraying their relationship overall as unhealthy or bad. it was merely pointing out an aspect of it that was unhealthy. but it very much asserts that what they had was wonderful and good despite that.

GOING BACK ON the Haitani brother's vision problems:

If Ran ever starts to wear glasses or contact lenses; would he stop to stand so close to people and would people notice he stopped doing that? Wouldn't it feel weird for everyone involved after years of being used to it?

During the Valhalla-Toman fight, Ran (unless he knew prior that, which is likely) couldn't have known Mucho was here, which means Rindo had had to tell him

Which also means - when he wears his glasses Rindo probably tells Ran lots of stuffs for Ran to, you know, know what's going on

When and/or how did Ran knew it was Mitsuya he hit with a brick during Tenjiku. Did he spot the lilac hair? Did he just pray he was right? Did he only notice it was Mitsuya after hitting him and taking a closer to look to his face? Did he stand so close to Mitsuya before hitting him to figure out who he was???

the disastrous life of saiki k its only a comedy anime because we see everything from kusuo's pov and the things that's happens in the episode are just a normal day for him so he sees everything like normal and even comedic

I just KNOW that if it was from someone else's pov the anime would turn into psychological horror
