OOH YAY THANK YOU i am so behind on ffvii i'm so sorry i keep watching AC over and over instead of playing the games, but most of our story takes place during CC anyway. which i should also play again because it's been way too long💔
2) are they the type to sign/take credit for things or do they prefer anonymity?
he is well-known already, but he prefers to stay back in the shadows. his reputation certainly supersedes him. but to me, he's just my special guy... all mine. just a guy. that i love. nothing more. and he likes that 🥺
4) does your f/o have an official title in addition to/instead of their given name? do they have a preferred name or a stage name?
iirc he's known just by his name for the most part; he would prefer that, given how he feels about being relatively "famous"
7) is your s/i famous for something? or are they a behind-the-scenes kind of person?
he is a very powerful guy! to a destructive extent later on, of course, but... he really doesn't care much for the way people see him as such. he prefers to keep to himself
10) what is your f/o’s greatest talent? what about your s/i’s?
he's pretty good at adapting, and some people would probably describe him as charismatic, if not intimidating, once they actually get to interact with him. not charismatic in the Cool Suave Guy kind of way, but in the way that you know this guy Knows Things and Is Powerful, which i would say is a talent. also being able to wield a huge sword helps! my s/i is rather good at cooling down conflicts or mediating. which certainly helps in sephiroth's case... i'd say it's a talent of mine in real life, too. i've been told this as well! it saves everyone from a lot of trouble
i haven't quite decided how our canon will end -- good or bad -- but i hope that my s/i can provide something for him 💖

Clarisse La Rue x DaughterOfHecate!Reader hc's
A/N:Hi lovely!Tysm for requesting, and sorry for uploading it so late, but I hope you like it!
She LOVES your magical abilities.Seriously, watching you work your magic is like the coolest thing ever. I mean, who wouldn't want a partner who can do that.
She deffo likes the pranks you two pull. And you two would be unstoppable. She'd be all for using your magic to pull off some seriously epic pranks around camp. No one would be safe.
When you're casting spells, she's your biggest cheerleader-especially if you're fighting or sparring with someone. She'll stand there watching you with this huge grin on her face, cheering you on like you're about to win the Olympics or something.
She'd definitely tease you about your magical mishaps.Like, if you accidentally failed a potion or a spell which had some rather...unexpected events or set something on fire, she'd laugh her ass off and then help you fix it,only after she had a good laugh about it.
But she's also super protective. If anyone messes with you because of your powers, they better watch out. Clarisse doesn't take kindly to anyone messing with her bae.
She's not the biggest fan of magic when it comes to battles. I mean, she's all about brute force and weapons, so she might not fully understand your approach to fighting. But she respects it, even if she doesn't always get it.
She loves hearing about your magical heritage.Seriously, you could talk for hours about your family history and the different spells you've learned, and she'd be totally fascinated.
When you're feeling down about your powers, she's there to lift you up.She's always telling you how amazing you are and how lucky she is to have you in her life.
She's not afraid to get her hands dirty. If you need help with a spell or potion, she's right there beside you, ready to lend a hand. Who knew Clarisse could be such a good assistant?
She's fiercely loyal.Once she's committed to you, she's in it for the long haul. She'll always have your back, no matter what.
She's not great with emotional stuff.I mean, she's more of a actions-speak-louder-than-words kind of girl. But she shows her love in her own way, whether it's through small gestures or just being there when you need her.
She's fiercely protective of your relationship. If anyone ever tries to come between you two, they better be prepared to face her wrath. Clarisse doesn't mess around-that's a fact-and especially when it comes to love.
She likes challenging you to magic vs. combat showdowns. Like, she'll be all, "Let's see if your fancy wand can beat my sword, huh?" It's her way of bonding, okay?
She'd probably complain about the weird ingredients you use for your potions and spells, especially the ones that smell terrible-or she considers to smell terrible.
But secretly she'd also be curious and might even taste test some of the herbs when you're not looking - the ones she knows are safe at least.
Through thick and thin, she's your rock, your confidante, and your fiercest ally.
And hell-she'd let you experiment your weird spells and potions on her, because it means she gets to look at you and see that tiny smirk on your face when you succeed.
And sometimes you let her rest her head on your thighs when when you sit down and working on potions and spells, not really paying attention to her while flipping through books-but hey,it's still a win for her, right?
Even when you are focused on your spells and stuff, she'd just watch you, looking at you with intrigue and awe as she never knew what you would do next, her expression eventually softening-because,well-it's you.

My Oak Leaf Dress post is getting some traction again years after it was first posted, and it got me wondering if tumblr might be more fertile groud to talk about some Arya Stark-centered analysis of mine I feel never got the attention it deserved in the westeros.org forum?
Okay, have you noticed that Arya's five chapters in AGOT have very very strong parallels to Arya’s five chapters in Feast/Dance? I've cataloged them and it blows my mind that more people aren't dissecting it. If we take into consideration that the AFFC and ADWD were supposed to one book, Arya has exactly the same amount of chapters as she had in book one, which is much less than she had in ACOK or ASOS. A pity in my opinion, as I love to read her, but I believe this is not a coincidence on Martin’s part as there seem to be several parallels between what Arya experiences in the first book and the last two. I’ll compare:
AGOT Arya I to AFFC Arya I
AGOT Arya II  to AFFC Arya II
AGOT Arya III to AFFC Cat of the Canals
AGOT Arya IV to ADWD The Blind Girl
AGOT Arya V to ADWD The Ugly Little Girl
So, AGOT Arya I / AFFC Arya I: Both take place in a different setting from the other four chapters (Winterfell vs. Kings Landing for AGOT, the ship The Titan's Daughter vs. the city of Braavos in AFFC and ADWD). In both we have Arya directly interacting with two siblings, one who is two years older than her and whose place she would like to be able to occupy (Sansa with all her ladylike abilities, Denyo who is a cabin boy) and another who is older and more guarded and with whom she has important conversations about the ways of the world (Jon Snow and the talk about bastards and girls and Yorko and all the exposition about Bravosi culture). Quotes about Sansa and Denyo:
It wasn't fair. Sansa had everything. Sansa was two years older; maybe by the time Arya had been born, there had been nothing left. Often it felt that way. Sansa could sew and dance and sing. She wrote poetry. She knew how to dress. She played the high harp and the bells. Worse, she was beautiful. Sansa had gotten their mother's fine high cheekbones and the thick auburn hair of the Tullys. Arya took after their lord father.
And
Denyo had taken her up to the crow's nest once, and she hadn't been afraid at all, though the deck had seemed a tiny thing below her. I can do sums too, and keep a cabin neat. But the galleas had no need of a second boy.
In both chapters we have adults who are not really happy to be in charge of Arya, who are associated with the color grey, and who frown at Arya with similar phrasing (septa Mordane and Tradesman-Captain Ternesio Terys). I'll give you the quotes:
Septa Mordane raised her eyes. She had a bony face, sharp eyes, and a thin lipless mouth made for frowning. It was frowning now. "What are you talking about, children?"
And
Arya turned to find Denyo's father looming over them in his long captain's coat of purple wool. Tradesman-Captain Ternesio Terys wore no whiskers and kept his grey hair cut short and neat, framing his square, windburnt face. On the crossing she had oft seen him jesting with his crew, but when he frowned men ran from him as if before a storm. He was frowning now. "Our voyage is at an end," he told Arya.
In one of the chapters Arya is said to be “too skinny to hold a sword” and in the other she is “too small to man an oar”. Both chapters end with Arya entering rooms where two authority figures await for her (septa Mordane and Catelyn in her room AGOT, the kindly man and the waif inside the House of Black and White in AFFC).
AGOT Arya II  / AFFC Arya II: In both chapters a long time has elapsed between Arya I and Arya II. In both chapters Arya feels very isolated from people around her (in AGOT she is mourning Mycah, angry at her father’s men who let the boy be murdered and sad that even Sansa “wouldn’t talk to her unless their father made her”, in AFFC Arya takes the other servants of the HoBaW for mutes until she hears them praying, they never talk to her and Umma, who does talk, speaks in a language she can’t understand.
In both chapters we have vivid descriptions of rich food Arya eats, which is very rare in her story because she is underfed most of the time. In both chapters Needle is discovered (in AGOT Ned sees the sword, in AFFC the waif catches Arya training).
In both chapters she has a very important conversation about lies (Arya tells her father Sansa lied about not knowing what happened at the Trident, and Ned says to her:  "We all lie" and later says that some lies are “not without honor”, meanwhile the kindly man says to Arya “All men lie when they are afraid. Some tell many lies, some but a few. Some have only one great lie they tell so often that they almost come to believe it”).
In both chapters Arya promises to obey:
“This willfulness of yours, the running off, the angry words, the disobedience… at home, these were only the summer games of a child. Here and now, with winter soon upon us, that is a different matter. It is time to begin growing up." "I will," Arya vowed. She had never loved him so much as she did in that instant. "I can be strong too. I can be as strong as Robb."
In AFFC the kindly man tells Arya
“Remain if you will, but know that we shall require your obedience. At all times and in all things. If you cannot obey, you must depart." "I can obey." [...] “It takes uncommon strength of body and spirit, and a heart both hard and strong [to be a faceless man]" I have a hole where my heart should beand nowhere else to go. "I'm strong. As strong as you. I'm hard."
In Both chapters Arya is said to be beautiful (a word that is not used to describe her in any other occasion). In both words Arya explicitly refuses feminine roles (in AGOT she tells Ned she doesn’t want to be a lady, in AFFC she thinks she wanted none of the placements the kindly man offers her, with courtesans where she would “sleep on rose petals and wear silken skirts that rustle when [she] walks” or “marriage and children”).
In both chapters Arya uses rocks to save a part of herself: in AGOT she recounts to Ned how she had to throw stones at Nymeria for her to stop following and be saved from the Lannister men who would execute her (we hope Arya will reunite with Nymeria again), and in AFFC she hides Needle behind a loose stone step to keep it safe for later (we hope she will retrieve it at some point).
Another plot-point that repeats between the two chapters is the introduction of a teacher. Arya II in AGOT opens in a dinner scene in the Small Hall ends with the introduction of Syrio Forel in the same Small Hall, where Arya begins to learn water dancing. Syrio says “now we dance”. Arya II in AFFC starts with Arya reciting her list, and ends after the Waif becomes Arya’s teacher on the braavosi language and the lying game (she actively compares what she is learning now with the lessons she once had from Syrio) and then Arya finally leaves the temple, reciting her list like in the beginning (so both chapters start and finish “in the same place”) and saying she is “so happy she could dance”.
AGOT Arya III / AFFC Cat of the Canals: Okay so in AGOT Arya II, Arya assumes a “fake identity” for the first time ever! Tommen and Myrcella mistake her for a peasant boy, and she acts the part. In her third chapter in AFFC this is taken up to the next level and this is the first time her chapter title changes when she takes  the identity of Cat. Cats! Of course, Arya II in AGOT is that one chapter that is all about cats, she talks about pursuing them and she finally kisses Balerion. She then becomes Cat in her third chapter in AFFC, and reminisces about chasing cats in the Red Keep in that chapter!
There is a sense of expanding horizons in both these chapters. Arya leaves the Red Keep for the first time in AGOT Arya III, and walks back from the Blackwater all the way to the castle. In her third AFFC chapter, Arya is exploring the city of Braavos after having finally been allowed out of the temple. She is also very cheeky in both these chapters! Arya interacting with the guards of the Red Keep is hilarious, and very similar to how she acts when being her Cat persona.
Nightmares. Arya experiences vivid, terrible nightmares in both these third chapters (and in her third chapter in ASOS). In AGOT she hears her father’s voice becoming fainter and fainter in her dreams, which some have interpreted as foreshadowing for Ned’s death and as a sign that Arya may have precognitive abilities. In AFFC it’s her mother she hears screaming. Both these chapters also explore and detail the place Arya inhabits. In AGOT Arya III the Red Keep is heavily featured, and it’s described as an “endless stone maze”. In AFFC Cat takes us all around Braavos, which of course is a “crooked city” with all its buildings made out of stone.
Daenerys is mentioned!! Illyrio and Varys discuss “the princess with child” in AGOT Arya III, and tales of “dragons hatching” reach Cat in AFFC. Daenerys isn’t mentioned in any other Arya chapters.
Retelling overheard stories features heavily in both chapters. Arya tries to convey to Ned what she overheard and is casually dismissed. In Cat of the Canals, Arya is learning to actively overhear conversations and gather information and retells them to the kindly man with caution.
Bathing is also present in both chapters. Arya usually doesn’t really enjoy bathing in ACOK and ASOS, but both in AGOT Arya III and in Cat of the Canals, on the other hands, we witness Arya disrobing and cleaning her body of her own volition, getting rid of bad smells in almost ritualized cleansing. Compare the quotes from AGOT, Arya III:
She found herself standing at the mouth of a sewer where it emptied into the river. She stank so badly that she stripped right there, dropping her soiled clothing on the riverbank as she dove into the deep black waters. She swam until she felt clean, and crawled out shivering.
and AFFC, Cat of the Canals:
Down in the vaults, she untied Cat's threadbare cloak, pulled Cat's fishy brown tunic over her head, kicked off Cat's salt-stained boots, climbed out of Cat's smallclothes, and bathed in lemonwater to wash away the very smell of Cat of the Canals. When she emerged, soaped and scrubbed pink with her brown hair plastered to her cheeks, Cat was gone.
One of the most important parallels in this set of chapters regards the Night’s Watch. It is in Arya III AGOT that Arya for the first ever interacts with a black brother, when she meets Yoren. Although Arya isn’t aware of it, it was Yoren’s death that made it possible for Dareon leave Eastwatch and go to Braavos in the first place, as the singer was assigned by Jon Snow to take up the role of recruiter that used to be Yoren’s. Yoren had other roles as well, including that of Arya’s protector. The first encounter she has with each of the two black brothers show us just how much Arya has changed. She thinks of Yoren:
He was stooped and ugly, with an unkempt beard and unwashed clothes. [...] The old man in his smelly black clothes was looking at her oddly, but Arya could not seem to stop talking.
While Arya can’t stop herself from rambling to Yoren, she has learned not to share all of her thoughts by the time she meets Dareon. This is the quote:
He is fair of face and foul of heart, thought Arya, but she did not say it
Also, in both this chapters she goes blind! “She was blind.” That sentence shows up exactly like that, word for word, in both chapters. Of course in AFFC she actually becomes blind, while in AGOT she is only in a really really dark room. But still. The wording! And structurally speaking, while the last pair of chapters starts and finish “in the same place”, now both of these chapters start with a more light-hearted tone to then plunge into really dark territory, literally and metaphorically, as Arya hears the threats to her family whispered in the dark in AGOT and kills Dareon to then goes blind in AFFC.
AGOT Arya IV / ADWD The Blind Girl:
Considering AFFC and ADWD as one long long book, Blind Girl is Arya’s fourth chapter. Arya’s fourth chapter in AGOT is the one in which she gets that all-important lesson when Syrio Forel tells her to “look with her eyes”. He also touches upon her other senses though:
“The heart lies and the head plays tricks with us, but the eyes see true. Look with your eyes. Hear with your ears. Taste with your mouth. Smell with your nose. Feel with your skin. Then comes the thinking, afterward, and in that way knowing the truth."
Syrio says all that! And while Arya looks with her eyes in several moments of the story and this true seeing literally saves her life more than once, she never does explore her other senses that much… until she goes blind in ADWD. In The Blind Girl we get:
Hear, smell, taste, feel, she reminded herself. There are many ways to know the world for those who cannot see. [...] "You have five senses, learn to use the other four, you will have fewer cuts and scrapes and scabs"
Also, both chapters feature scenes where Arya in engaged in training with someone to improve her martial skills. While she practiced her needlework on her own all throughout ASOS, this is the first time she does so with someone else since Syrio in AGOT Arya IV! The way the two fights are described is incredibly similar, with the descriptions of rights and lefts and right and lefts, and the clacking sound of wood, her opponent “cheating” (coming from the “wrong” side) and there is a “sudden stinging” cut which catches her by surprise. It’s very very similar, go reread it if you don't believe me.
Another really important parallel regards skinchanging: in Arya’s fourth chapter in AGOT, Arya is helpless after witnessing the horrors that took place at the Tower of the Hand. The narration tells us “she was only a little girl with a wooden stick, alone and afraid” (the wooden stick here is her practice sword). And than, to escape, she pretends she is chasing cats… “except she was the cat now”. I kid you not, this is the exact wording used. She is the cat now, and that is what empowers her to keep going. In ADWD, when Arya is most definitely LITERALLY just a little blind girl with a wooden stick, she actually skinchanges into a cat for the first time, and that is what finally empowers her against her mentor/abuser. She “becomes a cat” in both chapters
Also, it is in The Blind Girl chapter that we learn that “the Sealord is dying”, which is comparable (both from doylist’s and watsonian perspectives) to Robert Baratheon dying, exactly what happens around Arya IV. Now a bit of a stretch: in AFFC "The Merling Queen has chosen a new Mermaid to take the place of the one that drowned. She is the daughter of a Prestayn serving maid, thirteen and penniless, but lovely." I propose the new mermaid might stand in for Jeyne Poole. While the new Mermaid is the daughter of a Prestayn’s serving maid, and we know Prestayn be a noble house, Jayne is the daughter of the Stark’s steward. Petyr Baelish, who is connected with the braavosi galley The Merling King, takes charge of Jayne, who is then a twelve year-old.The “Mermaids” are actually described to be “young maidens in the blush of their first flowering who hold [the Merling Queen’s] train and do her hair”. Of course, same as the Mermaids are being trained to become courtesans, Jeyne will be trained in a brothel to become Ramsay’s bride.
AGOT Arya V / ADWD The Ugly Little Girl: Okay, so Arya V makes me sad from the very first line to the very last. The situation is hopeless, Arya is helpless. King’s Landing is unwelcoming and claustrophobic, the people range from rude to downright mean. The people of the city likely look at her with suspicious eyes, and as much as Arya has told us she loved nothing more than to be underfoot and mingle with the common people of Winterfell, the experience in King’s Landing is traumatizing, and it ends with her father beheaded. Oh joy. In A Dance with Dragons the waif describes how people will react to the ugly little girl Arya will become after she changes her face for the first time:
"Women will look away when they see you. Children will stare and point. Strong men will pity you, and some may shed a tear."
For reasons very different than a destroyed face, this sounds very similar to what Arya experiences in King’s Landing. I find the overall tone of The Ugly Little Girl chapter to be rather analogous to that of Arya V. Arya is in the HoBaW because is certain she has nowhere else to go. Life is easier now than when she was blind, but she doesn’t feel very comfortable – and yet goes through with all that is asked of her. Though not helpless anymore, she is more hopeless than ever before. She experiences physical pain and nightmares; she is questioned and constantly told she doesn’t have what it takes to be in the only place that has been a steady roof over her head in years.
Before undergoing her magical transformation in ADWD, Arya is given a tart drink. This is the quote:
She drank it down at once. It was very tart, like biting into a lemon. A thousand years ago, she had known a girl who loved lemon cakes. No, that was not me, that was only Arya.
In AGOT Arya V, we get this:
Arya would have given anything for a cup of milk and a lemon cake,
In fact, lemons come up very scarcely in Arya’s whole story. She only thinks about the fruit in her inner monologues in Arya V and The Ugly Little Girl, both times prompted from external stimuli (there is the lemon tart she could not steal moments before she wishes for the lemon cake in AGOT, and the magical tart drink she is given in The Ugly Little Girl). The word comes up a handful of times in A Storm of Swords while Arya is in the company of Lem Lemoncloak, but the fruit not so much.
Another parallel between this pair of chapters comes in the form of Arya’s target, the binder salesman. The man Arya targets for the faceless men in ADWD is described in a way that calls back to Petyr Baelish (pointed beard, thin lips) and Yoren (a hard face, mean eyes, crooked shoulders), both of which Arya encounters in her fifth chapter in AGOT.
Eddard Starks beheading is a moment full of similarities to Arya’s “defacing” by the kindly man. This is from AGOT Arya V:
The old man shook her so hard her teeth rattled. "Shut your mouth and close your eyes, boy." Dimly, as if from far away, she heard a… a noise… a soft sighing sound, as if a million people had let out their breath at once.
and this is from ADWD The Ugly Little Girl:
"Sit," the priest commanded. She sat. "Now close your eyes, child." She closed her eyes. "This will hurt," he warned her, "but pain is the price of power. Do not move."
And of course what follows her closing her eyes in AGOT hurts much more deeply than having her forehead slashed. In A Game of Thrones, Arya opens her eyes to finally recognize Yoren. He then giver her Needle back, and drags her to a doorframe where he cuts her hair to give her a new identity, that of Arry. This is the quote from Arya V:
As the blade flashed toward her face, Arya threw herself backward, kicking wildly, wrenching her head from side to side, but he had her by the hair, so strong, she could feel her scalp tearing, and on her lips the salt taste of tears.
and this is the quote from The Ugly Little Girl:
She sat unmoving. The cut was quick, the blade sharp. By rights the metal should have been cold against her flesh, but it felt warm instead. She could feel the blood washing down her face, a rippling red curtain falling across her brow and cheeks and chin, and she understood why the priest had made her close her eyes. When it reached her lips the taste was salt and copper.
That's it! If you are interested in a more in-depth analysis check my original post from (five!!) years ago .

I'm thinking so many thoughts about a post KH III reformed Lauriam and Elrena specifically our fave prickily girl.
So we all know even after getting her heart back Elrena isn't about to lose her bite and can still be pretty sarcastic and snippy with most of the cast. Lauriam is the only person she interacts with in a real sense since they've been together through thick and thin.
Except for Ven he's the only one she's remotely nice to.
Now at first it was purely out of respect for Lauriam, she remembers the end of the world and how he carried a smaller unconscious Ven close to his chest and held him protectively in his arms. Elrena never got to properly meet Ven she never had any animosity towards him.
But Ven is just so earnest and sweet that he genuinely worms his way into her heart and now she has a soft spot for the kid and likes him of his own merit. It probably helps that Ven never met her as Larexene and doesn't have any bad memories of her, and he isn't weighed down by their shared trauma of losing Daybreak Town even when Ven gets his memories back. He treats her like a person and it's so refreshing even though she knows why most of the cast do still see her as an enemy.
So while Elrena snarks at the sea salt trio, the destiny trio, and especially Terra and Aqua for being insufferable she's all smiles and hugs to Ven and he and Lauriam are just so sweet together it reminds Elrena of simple days she wishes she could go back too.
THIS IS SO SWEET I'm in love.... they've always been a fun little possible trio to me (the "we lived, bitch" trio) and I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it lol.
I think the reason she was so nice to Lauriam when they first met was like, mostly just respect for Strelitzia, y'know? Imagine, you know someone -you wouldn't call yourselves friends exactly, more like acquaintances- who you see from time to time, enough that they significantly stand out in your memory, and then one day that person's sibling approaches you and tells you that they're missing. Of course you're gonna be respectful- that's a horrible thing to happen to someone. But, if it was me, I'd also be a bit flattered?? like "this person talked about me enough that their sibling thought I was a significant enough part of their life to Know Things he possibly wouldn't." And then the respect for Strelitzia grows into a bonus "okay this guy's kinda cool, actually." and before you know it you're stuck in a cult together. C'est la vie
I feel like there would also be a respect towards Ventus. Lauriam cares about this kid more than Elrena can really understand (only child vs person with siblings dichtomy) so she kinda has to respect the kid. She doesn't know anything about him other than Lauriam cares about him, so he's alright in her book. Post-3 Elrena finds herself in a weird in-between with Ventus, where she recognizes him as someone from Daybreak Town but he has never seen her in his life, but that's also good because he doesn't have the Larxene association. It's a weird grey area that she doesn't really know how to approach- but it is something that she wouldn't be against approaching. "Same Traumatic Past/Cult Partner" buddy can only take you so far in the relationship department.

Oliver the Deaf/Mute imp kid controversy
During my break from most platforms due to family issues and me not wanting to indulge myself on most platforms for peace and quiet I pondered something during that time. I wanted to do something fun Regarding lil Oliver who Finally has a name after all the backlash Viv got for NOT naming her Deaf or possibly Mute character...
I wanted to try to crack exactly what Fizz and Oliver said and how accurate it is which will require me to also learn more along the way and it's thanks to the fact that I actually have an official Sign language Dictionary that has real pictures that teaches a reader how to Sign when speaking with your hands, what to Sign, and much more. The book itself was given to me as a gift from a licensed Sign Language and Deaf speaking and assisting teacher who was awesome to talk to. She specializes with Special Needs and other forms of Disabilities in her class such as Autism, ADHD, (Both in which I have but were diagnosed many years apart) or other Disabilities on the spectrum or differing conditions. And I've kept it since then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Oliver, Olive or Ollie for short. Say Hi :D
He uses Sign Language to speak and is possibly both Deaf and Mute however I'm going off research regarding his condition/disability.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is the book from front to back ^^
As I read and look around at the endless adventure of learning a new Language and cracking what the show Signed it will also further my development of more accurately developing my own characters that are either Mute, Deaf, Or both. Some of them are main characters and either speak fluent Sign Language along with another Language taught via writing which is hard work but can be achieved over time. Some don't speak another language. Some of them are secondary, supporting etc. there's Always a role for them. Kuma is one of them, She's a main character of a series I'm working on. I'll show her later once she's finished in design. She is Both Deaf and Mute and uses a hearing aid to help hear from her Left Ear. She mainly speaks fluent Sign Language via hands or writes what she says. She's fluent in Japanese writing all in which took her years to learn by special teachers. She's treated as a person from thick and thin. Unlike how Viv treats her characters. Kuma originally comes from Tokyo Japan but moved internationally to California for college.
If you have any questions regarding my journey please don't hesitate to ask ❤️🙏
EDIT: I absolutely despise how Vivziepop writes her characters when it comes to "Trying" to represent something. That's why I was inspired to write this! That's why wanted to step in and be entirely goal oriented when representing stuff you can't do Viv. Viv sucks at representation in every way shape and form. From writing harmful stereotypes of All kinds, to misrepresenting the LGBT plus community I've been in for almost a decade, SA, SHrsd, Domestic Abuse victims (I hate to dig up a huge part of my past however... I fall into all those three categories too... Bcus my biological dad... Did unspeakable things to me...), to the way she writes her women vs guy characters in a non equalized way, the way she writes about drug abuse or alcoholics, and not give two shits about their development to the way she literally didn't give a shit about Oliver AND misrepresents the Disabled community that I'm ALSO in and left Oliver nameless UNTIL her audience CALLED HER OUT for that like... What the hell went through your head when you sat at the round table of yours with your team you call "Geniuses" like... Deaf Imp Child????? DEAF FUCKING IMP CHILD???? LoooooL! Stop trying Viv it's over! Your own political party doesn't like your ass no more neither wether traditionalized old school Dems like me or Modernized Americanized Dems. Everyone who saw through your bullshit regardless of who they are or where they lean don't want your shit anymore because you failed everyone around you multiple times for YEARS. I've found out So MANY things about you mate. I actually looked up to you... Lots of us did... And you only get worse from here. Your audience ain't the bigot unless they actively boot lick and kiss your ass. Valid criticism wether Harsh or Not is NOT "hate" lmao 🤣 love how thats your favorite go to word. Maybe come up with something original to call your audience you sack of poorly packaged horse shit, mmk! (Pilot Angel Dust reference btw if you get it)

My Paint Tool Sai Brushes/Painting Process Tutorial!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Explanations and Examples down below
Disclaimer: long post
Hello! I wanted to first thank everyone for liking/reblogging my most recent art piece (the Darkiplier one) It has become my first post with over 1000 notes which is just insane for me. I just wanted to do something to thank you guys for that.
Anyway, this post will be divided like this, so scroll to the title if you want specific things
Introduction
Brush textures/shapes for download
Overall process -> Terms and Definitions
How I use each brush (+ examples) -> Sketch -> Lineart (only do this sometimes) -> Rendering -> Textures + Post Processing
Conclusion
Introduction
This post is mainly for me in the future to look back on how my painting process was. My process changes ALL the time, sometimes I use lineart, sometimes I paint, sometimes I don't use textures, sometimes I have 100 layers, sometimes I have 1. It just changes depending on the piece. There is no "correct" way to do art. Do what you want!
Second of all, I feel I should point out you don't need fancy brushes or many brushes to make good art. I painted this piece with 1 brush.
Tumblr media
That's right, 1 brush (it was the P A I N T brush shown in main). I didn't have a sketch, I didn't have any lines, I started with big shapes and went from there.
Third of all, I use Paint Tool SAI (the first one). So this will be specific to that program. I'm sorry, it's just what I know how to use.
Brush Textures/Shapes
You may see in my brushes that there are textures/shapes that don't come with the standard SAI program. I tried to find the links for you to download them yourself.
Arrow: https://www.deviantart.com/digikat04/art/Custom-SAI-Brush-I-265506547
All texture brushes: https://painttoolsaibrushes.splstc.com/painttool-sai-textures/
For some reason I can't find where I got marble pt. 2 or chalk so here's the png files. (You can convert them to .bmp files) (Hopefully that works!)
Chalk : Marble pt. 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Overall Process
Before I go over my process I'm going to define some terms I'll be using and what I mean by them:
Flats - base colors
Rendering - Includes shading, lighting, small details, and texturing to define a form
Blending - mixing two separate colors together
Reduction - Once you've made a line/shape, reduction is the act of erasing part of it -> At the bottom of my brushes (in the images up above) you can see a checkered box which makes your brush transparent. I use the erasing brush to Reduce the red circle.
Persistence - How well the brush can create a new shape/color on top of pre-existing colors (If the brush blends a lot on top of other colors it has low persistence)
"Hard" vs "Soft" brushes - How well defined an edge is on a brush
Stabilizer - Turns trembly lines into smooth lines
So, I draw a different way each time. My canvas size is normally between 2500 pixels and 4000. I usually do around 3000 though. In general for my paintings I usually do
A sketch
Flats
Hue Shifts
Lighting/Shadows
Brighter Light/Deeper Shadows (Highlights/Ambient Occlusion)
Smaller Details
Texturing
Post Processing
For my bigger compositions, I make thumbnails. And for my "comic book" style I use lineart and layer modes (like multiply, luminosity)
How I Use Each Brush (+ Examples!)
Sketch
I have 2 sketch brushes. "pencil" and "sketch" For most of my life I have been using the default pencil brush on size 1. But recently I have been using this softer "sketch" brush on size ~20 or so. Either way works, but I find that the "pencil" brush is easier for linework and the "sketch" brush is easier to blend into paintings
"Pencil" : "Sketch" examples
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lineart (opt.)
Nowadays I don't use lineart that often, but if I do it's with my "Softlines" brush. It's great for both very thick and very thin lines. I lower the opacity of my sketch and put lineart on a new layer on top of it
"Softlines" brush examples
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Flats
With lineart I seperate each new color with a new layer. For painting I'm now using one color as an underpainting color and working on top of that layer. So I render one thing at a time while working on the same layer.
I lower the opacity of the sketch and create a new layer under my sketch. I use my "pencil" brush to lay out the underpainting color and "blur" for hue shifts. And then I reduce it to the silhouette using my "sketch" brush (This gives a softer outline)
Tumblr media
Rendering
This would take way too long to explain every step of how I do it. So I'll explain how I use my brushes in this step.
"Arrow!!!" - I use this brush for laying out intial shapes, big areas of color, shading, lighting. The arrow shape has a point on the end that's really great for triangular shapes. It's not very good at small details because of the texture applied to it.
"Sketch" - I use this brush during the rendering as well. It's great for small details that you want a softer look of. It has a high persistence so it's great for working on the same layer.
"P A I N T" - This is a brush that's good at very many things. It has higher blending than "sketch" or "Arrow!!!" and it's shape is square. Great for blending, general painting, small details, reduction, etc.
"blur" - great for gradients or to smooth something out a lot
"Gaussian" - is a gaussian blur. Great for making things out of focus or fuzzy
"square TEX" - texture brush that has high persistence with some blending
"metal TEX" - texture brush with high blending and a spread shape.
"speckle TEX" - texture brush for kind of a sparkly look. High persistence
"water TEX" - texture brush that works kind of like a glaze. You can use for flair/fun
example
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Post-Processing
Typically I use more filters for this. Paint Tool Sai has sliders to change hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, luminosity, and color deepen. So I tend to mess with those. I also add effects like chromatic aberration
The tutorial I follow for chromatic aberration in Paint Tool Sai: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thmaephD9Ec&t=169s
I also add particles like dust and other objects.
Finally I use my Gaussian blur to make things out of focus/motion blur
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Conclusion
I hope this helps! I feel like I'm at a point in my art journey where I'm good enough to give advice. So hopefully this helps someone out there with their art journey! Obviously I have a long way to go, but I'm pretty proud of where I've come. I remember watching speedpaints and tutorials trying to become better at art. So I kind of want to add to that cycle for artists. :D Have a great day!

The spinners Book of yarn designs by Sarah Anderson, book review:
Tumblr media
First things first: I SO EFFING LOVE THIS BOOK. BUY IT!!!
Like most books it starts with a nice and tidy chapter overview:
Tumblr media
The introduction is just a bit of "what is this book for" a bit of the spinner history of Ms. Anderson, where she got all the ideas and so on.
Chapter 1, Spinning basics
is self-explanatory,
It talks about twist, and controll samples the basics of fiber prepping for spinning (carding , combing, working with dyed fiber) how to choose, what to look for, woolen vs worsted. For a book that is not ment to teach you spinning it's surprisingly detailed (not complaining there is always something to learn in the basics, or to remember)
Chapter 2, singles for plying
How to spin a good single, but So. Much. More!
How to spin a good single, what makes a single good, how thick/thin. Difference between wheels and handspindles. Tips and tricks to spin thin singles on a wheel. AND plying! Like, what kind of plying is out there (chain, bracelet, center pull ball how to trouble shoot etc), how do they behave what to ply together (2ply vs 3ply, and the difference they make in a knitted sample, trouble Shooting)
Chapter 3, stand-alone single
First a general information on how to deal with the different behaving anergy and on felting (some singles need to be felted before using them, but how do I do that)
Peppers through (in ALL chapters) are examples on the yarn and how it looks used (some are knitted, some crocheted and some weaved.)
For every yarn there is a detailed explanation on how to spin them what to look out for and detailed pictures to show the process, that help recreating the yarn
Also look at this cool thing?!?!? Just made with the enegery of the twist! It's plainly knitted, no pattern magic just spinning magic!!!
Tumblr media
She also wrote out a very detailed recipe for "sizing" energized yarn. So it stays in form when stored, and after using it and washing the fabric all the energy comes back and makes some unbelievable cool effect (collapsed weave my beloved) how utterly cursed, how utterly beautiful, i want 20
Tumblr media
Chapter 4 spiral yarn
In the beginning of this chapter, you have: how the tension shapes the yarn (more tension on the thin single, moderate tension on both, more tension in the fat single) general info on the finished yarn ( it is delicate, and should be used in projects according) also here we have a wonderful example in how the instructions are build
Tumblr media
Name of the yarn with a bit of info, the singles you'll need to built it and the direction it is spun and plied (always telling you what fiber got used). And beautiful depiction of yarn and knitting(crocheting/weaving) with the yarn.
In this chapter she also teaches you how to incorporate beads into your yarn in different ways.
Chapter 5, opposing plies
What happens, if instead of 2 S spuns singles plied in Z, you take on S and one Z spun single to ply??? Well, at least 6 different beautiful yarns!
Also one amazing theme through this book, are Ms. Andersons Sock experiments. She takes the same fiber base, spins and plys one sock in basic ply and one in a different way. And then she wears them until the first hole appears to see what yarn construction is more sturdy. Absolutely amazing
Tumblr media
Chapter 6, Bouclés
We all know Bouclés, i believe. But who spun them before?
The chapter starts with basic boucle technique 1O1 and takes you on a Wilde ride.
You guys have seen Bouclé in weaving??? I'm madly in love with it
She takes you throu basic bouclé like you know it. Showed differences between fibers, color possiblitys and "spiral bouclé" mixing bouclé with the spiral technique from chapter 4. Which is so insanely beautiful!
It finishes with: shrink bouclé. What happens if you ply a felting single with a not felting single? Spoiler: very cool stuff
Chapter 7, cable yarns
(how beautiful is this combination of color and construction??)
Tumblr media
Two 2plys plyed together. Lots of things that could go wrong but if they go right you get a yarn that looks like a chain. How cool is that??? (Extremely) we get a lot of amazing yarns not limited to basic, beaded and dyed. Absolut Chefs kiss 👌
Chapter 8, crepe yarns
Looking forward to these, because I know exactly what fiber to use!
How to describe crepe yarn? That is DIFFICULT, because even if the construction is the same in every yarn, the use of singles and tension makes them absolute unrecognizable! If you get handed two crepe yarns you couldn't tell on the first glance! How is this the same construction method?!?!?
Tumblr media
Same build as the other chapters. I want to live in this book. in total 7 crepe yarns that are full of love.
Chapter 9, core yarn
Do you remember the 90' where wrapping colorfully thread around your hair was the shit™?
Yeah, that! But better, because it's yarn! 12 different ways of coils are named in this chapter.
After that follows...
Soft core (this is not an asthetic, well maybe it is, but not in this chapter)
Your basic core spun yarn, in 3 different variations. Explained in detail. What's more to say?
Chapter 10, novelty yarn
Let's combine alle the cool things we learned in previous chapters and add little extras!
You meet an old acquaintance: the knop yarn that is followed by 7 different ways of making pigtail yarn. And then we have: beehives, cocoons, 3 ways of altering the cocoons (+one beaded inspiration) and something that makes my fingers itch with need for colorfull locks: tailspun!
Imagine this:
Tumblr media
But SO colorfull!
The last yarn we get to know is "squiggle" a yarn with hiccups (or that giggles) either way it's adorable and very cute!
In the End we have a: glossary, Bibliography 👀, some acknowledgments, an index and some Bock recs.
On the VERY end there is a paper pocket with cards for all the yarns?!?!? HELLOOOO?!?!?
Tumblr media
General opinion:
I LOVE this book it is the best book on spinning i have read so far detailed without being overwhelming. Also it is impossible to not notice how much care and love were involved. This is truly a book from a spinner to other spinners.
General information on the yarns and techniques are sprinkled between (like the sock experiment and how to work beads into the yarn)
It is well built, the chapters and everything is well sorted.
All in all, a loveletter to yarn.
Cons: i can't touch the samples. And that is TERRIBLE. Also i want to spinn all the yarns right now in an instant, but i don't have enough fiber, money, or time. A crime!!! Just Mean!!!
My tip: BUY THIS BOOK IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE IT!!!
2023 we'll have a spin along to this book. More information will be on this blog shortly:

Hi.... If you don't mind me asking, can I ask, what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series)? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....
hi! i definitely dont mind, this is such a fun ask so i'm SO SORRY ive only answered now 😭 also im horrible at explaining my thoughts so please bear with me...
1. jujutsu kaisen
i can go on and on about jjk but I'm trying to keep this short so I don't go on an endless rant. OKAY. i love the power system of jujutsu, it's simple but also pretty flexible and creative, i love the historical and traditional aspect of it + how it ties into clan culture, i love how it branches into barrier techniques, reverse cursed technique, binding vows, etc. for characters like gojo in particular i love how he's pictured as the strongest and how akutami shows the gap between him vs all other sorcerers, like he was in a whole different league and how his birth changed/tipped the balance of the world of jujutsu. i love the whole "saving others" thing like how yuuji wants to save everyone, megumi wants to save good people, nobara wants to save the people who mean alot to her, gojo thinking abt how he can only save people who want to be saved, geto wanting to save sorcerers from non sorcerers, etc. i like how the series has aspects of history (like how sugawara no michizane was a sorcerer and how his descendants include the gojo clan is ⅓ of the three main clans of the series, and basically the entirety of tengen (lol)). i love the anime adaptation and how crazy the animation is (when s1 came out i was alr baffled but after watching s2 and looking back at s1 im even more impressed at their development), the manga's artstyle i was a big fan of but now not so much (the scratchyness and alternating thick and thin rough lines around the time of shibuya arc were PEAK). besides that as a buddhist myself, the multiple buddhism references in the series really cemented my love for it as it felt familiar and it feels like ur getting a shout out esp since most shows feature themes of catholicism and christianity.
2. blue lock
i'm honestly unathletic af idk why im here. i think what hooked me was the whole individualistic + egoist concept and the elimination setting (like squid game) 🙏 for me blue lock's prime is [2nd selection, 4v4] until the end of [u20 arc], i really liked the art style during that period! sadly, i feel blue lock has fallen off ever since the current NEL arc, it feels as if theyve deviated from the original ego concept (fuck this whole "protagonism" thing man wtf) and the artstyle has undergone changes im not particular to. also the anime wack af.
3. bungou stray dogs
im going to be honest. i did NOT like bsd. s1-s3 was too all over the place for me and i really did not get the series at all, i actually thought it ended but then they released s4 & s5 in 2023. almost a year since s4 came out, i came around to watching it and i got HOOKED, i think a big factor was that there was less fillers and a lot more action scenes, plus the detective vs mastermind thing truly popped off in s4 + s5. besides that, i enjoyed the introduction of new cast and the return of previous ones (now as allies). sure, there's plot holes and the anime cuts off a handful of scenes but it WAS an incredibly enjoyable watch. plus i'd say bsd has mountains of content (atleast in comparison with other serieses) because besides your usual manga, anime, and occasionally stage play adaptation. you have the alt univ. BEAST, light novels like stormbringer or 55 minutes, wan!, and even bsd gaiden (which has nothing to do w the main series)
4. haikyuu
THE classic. it was the first anime i got into when i started quarantine and it brought back my animanga phase. i love how the characters all have interesting stories to tell, their own motivations and personalities. lots of teamwork, teambuilding, found family(?) aspects, plus all the themes have their own specific themes which i dig a lot (ex. inarizaki and their foxes + shrines). plus i love how this series captures the thrill of watching sports, it MIGHT be overexaggerated to some but i get lightheaded when theyre at match-point and on the verge of losing so it does provide some kind of high. OH and i like that they show realistic wins and losses.
5. hunter x hunter
i have not read the manga but this show was serious to me. i'm a sucker for meta and power systems, and nen is like... actually insane. i love the characters SO MUCH, the variety of designs and appearances, how the series shows the way they grow throughout their adventures and experiences, the way they show a character's relationship with the rest of the cast, etc. it also gives a somewhat nostalgic vibe? i love the opening, endings, OSTs + narrator. it truly does feel like ur tagging along on their adventures, it was a real tearjerker for me tbh.
6. avatar: the last airbender + the legend of korra
i think atla is an amazing show bcs 1. cool setting and world building 2. the cultural references 3. cool dynamics 4. character personalities and development 5. cool power system and fighting styles 6. found family etc etc... ITS A COMPLETE PACKAGE. im p sure not much are fond of tlok but i love it. i think some reasons include the fact that korra isnt like aang, but i think thats what makes tlok interesting, korra is 17 when the show starts and the show continues to follow how she grows and develops into a fully realized avatar both physically and spiritually. i also think its bcs of how they modernized bending and how lots of the cultural aspect is lost but i think its an incredible and interesting way to showcase real life modernization.
7. jojo's bizarre adventure
jjba CHANGED ME 😭 this series is actually insane like if it was a person please get it to a mental ward. i think as an artist, it holds a very dear place in my heart. the show itself is absurd and unbelievable so it keeps you on your toes (dont mind the plot holes and inconsistencies, at some point you're just gonna have to live with it). but the selling point for me is the characters, everyone has amazing, colorful and distinct designs that match well with their personalities and overall air. not to mention the artstyle and references in everything to everything? lol. the show's different parts also feature different main casts, dynamics and storylines, sometimes they do a callback to a previous part.
okay! it was very hard choosing between the 7 of them but i think they actually were the ones that truly left an impact on me. thank you so much for the ask i finally got the chance to ramble about the stuff i consume 😭😭😭 there's a lot of media I'd love to talk about and mention so maybe one day ill make a post on hopefully all the media ive consumed.
honorable mentions:
genshin impact
i started genshin in 2021 when 1.3 came out, i was dead serious about this game during quarantine. i love liyue so much its what truly got me hooked (everything from the music, the sights, etc. for me liyue/pre inazuma was prime genshin), i enjoyed building characters and doing showcases too. started losing interest when sumeru came out and slowly stopped logging in/playing daily. the reason i wont put this in the actual list is bcs im pretty clueless about the new characters and story, nor do i have much interest in them. (i came back to do the lantern rite event, love the new liyue regions!)
detective comics
i love action and fights, especially when they feature powers, so liking superheroes makes sense 🤷 DC gets shit on alot bcs of the DCEU but the films aside i like DC better than marvel. im particular to gotham and the batfam, it's just more dark and gritty, plus there's lotsa drama going on LOL. the gotham knights cast also branches alot like to young justice (I LOVE YOUNG JUSTICE 😭), teen titans, titans, birds of prey, and ofc justice league.
chainsaw man, mob psycho 100, code geass, assassination classroom, neon genesis evangelion, trigun, fairy tail

LEGO On A Budget 2024 #6: 60400 Go-Karts and Race Drivers & 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest
You'd be surprised to know- It seems as if we will end this series on exactly 10 blog posts. We've got 6 normal sets left to cover after this, then 4 more that I can only nab online. I didn't think it would go by this fast! Of course, i'll make new posts covering whatever comes out after March as well, though those will most likely be sporadic for a while, with LEGO's tactic of releasing most of their stuff in January and July and whatnot.
LEGO City - 60400 Go-Karts and Race Drivers
Tumblr media
God, this one. You wouldn't think 2 dinky karts would have 99 pieces total, but I suppose it does. It didn't particularly feel that way though. As you possibly could've guessed, both of these builds are close to identical. Why they felt the need to make two seperate manuals for both karts, I have no clue. They are VERY thin.
Tumblr media
Thankfully though, I actually do like the designs. I think the colors are more unique than a lot of what City has put out, especially the neon colored one. My personal bias also takes some joy in the small racing car builds in general, I think i've mentioned here before that I was a big Lego Racers kid in the 2000s. Been a bit since i've seen these small wheels that throw me back big time. Still, i'm not sure if this should've been a full set, this could've rather easily been two seperate polybags in my opinion.
LEGO Super Mario - 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest
Tumblr media
And here we go. Wahoo. Yippee, mamma mia, let's a go. It's LEGO Sup Mama. The franchise I have the most embarrassing feelings for, after all, it's Super Mario Advance 2 that introduced me to non-PC gaming after all. I was never TOO interested in grabbing these sets untill now, but this set may have convinced me to change my mind.
Now there's some odd choices made with the way this one's been packaged. This is the *smallest* box i've yet seen so far, or at least it's among the smallest. And that whiie it's the first box with over 100 pieces contained inside AND has a pretty thick instruction book with 3 sacks included. Weird, makes it seem less significant while it's decently substantial. At least when compared to the frickin' Goomba's Shoe set.
Tumblr media
For what it IS though, hoo, this is a nice set. Building these Yoshis was verrry satisfying, they look great and have a good amount of heft. I am not sure if I like the fact I had to effectively do the same thing twice though (sound familiar?). The tree canopy and the egg top it all off to make it remarkably faithful to the funny hoohoo man's franchise, and pleasant to the eye and hands.
...If it wouldn't fall apart so damn easily. I had so much trouble lifting this one into my cabinet cuz the green piece that attaches the platforms together would keep getting loose, and more frustatingly, the Yoshi duo also wouldn't be too stable on their little stand pieces. That does put a bit of a damper on things, though I wouldn't call it a dealbreaker, moreso something you need to be mindful off when holding it in it's entirety.
Current rankings:
Go-Karts and Race Drivers is ultimately decent. It's not something I am dying to do again, I better hope there ain't another car set coming up, though it's got some merit in subtle ways, particularly those aforementioned unique colors. For that, it tops the 'lower tier', aka anything below the Fire Rescue Motorcycle.
Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest (haaaaaaaaa) is certainly the most visually pleasing set, and hey, it's from a franchise I really hold close. I don't think it deserves top marks because of it's fragility and has you build the same thing twice. Gets pretty close though. This is gonna be the new number 4, beating out Mateo's Off-Road Car.
City - 60411 Fire Rescue Helicopter
Marvel - 76275 Motorcycle Chase: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock
Ninjago - 71805 Jay's Mech Battle Pack
Super Mario - 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest
DREAMZzz - 71471 Mateo's Off-Road Car
Friends - 42607 Autumn's Baby Cow Shed
City - 60401 Construction Steamroller
City 4+ - 60410 Fire Rescue Motorcycle
City - 60400 Go-Karts and Race Drivers
Friends - 42612 Cat Playground Adventure
Minecraft - 21251 Steve's Desert Expedition
City 4+ - 60399 Race Car
Time to climb back into Kruidvat's walls and get grabby with this new sale they're having. See ya next time!

I just read your fanfiction! MASTERPIECE!
And the dynamic between the four brothers? Endearing but also very shaky because there’s still some walls put up and secrets hidden
Also, if Donnie ever got a permanent scar from that incident, it’s gonna eat away at Leo whenever he catches a glimpse of it
Splinter, if you look closery, very closely, you can see that your blue turtle slider bebe is in need of parental love and affection
so gib
STOP TRUEHEIWUE
Thank you so much!!! Asks like these really mean a lot to me I looove reading people’s observations :D you’re nailing all of these and that part about donnie having a scar? 😈 oho

Susanoo vs Orochi
A taste of my cock vore retelling of one of the myths of Susanoo, part of my Gods of Vore series which can be found here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/byseries/92273
Eight men walked into the room, each partially coated in serpentine scales. Elsewise, though, it was hard to visually tell they had anything to do with each other. Seven of them held a smell nearly the exact same. The eighth, wide and bald, smelled a bit more ashen than the others.
“Hello,” said the smallest of the eight. “You remember us, yes?”
“How could I forget you, o’ kami-sama?” said Susanoo. He bowed.
“Are you willing,” continued the small one, “to be consumed as were your brothers, or should we rain devastation on Inada?”
Ah. So they too enjoyed the idea of consent, Susanoo noted, though the way they went about it he wasn’t quite partial too. Did it even count at that point?
“Might we play a game?” asked Susanoo. He looked up and smiled as innocently as he could manage. He pointed at the large one. “He tries to eat me. I try to eat him. If he wins, then I’m a yummy meal. If I win, then I get to try to eat the rest of you as well.”
One of the eight, a tall one who wore a hat with drapery that hid his face, bristled and drew a sword. “How dare you,” he said.
“How dare you?” spoke the large and bald one. He shot a pointed look at the tall one. “You do not speak for me, my brother.” He turned to Susanoo. “I was taught to never play with my food. But what can I say? I never grew up.”
“Very well,” said the short one. “You two may play.”
“My mother has prepared sake for the rest of you,” Susanoo said. “She would be honored if you would drink of it. Think of it as their funerary offerings to their children and their new gods.”
One of the eight, one thinner than any human could possibly be, whooped. “One never turns down alcohol,” he said. Before any of the others responded, he was out in the hall and walking away.
The short one nodded at the large one. “Don’t take long.”
Then there was only one out of eight in Oshi’s room. The large one with the rolling bands of fat and the bald head. The serpentine scales on his body, a cerulean color, connected his nipples and stretched in a thin band halfway down his right side. His eyes, tinted yellow, had pupils slitted in that way reptiles’ are.
He slapped his stomach. The force sent ripples through his body. “Are you ready to end up in here?” asked the god.
“And you here?” Susanoo opened his mouth and placed the tip of one of his fingers on his bottom canine. He bit down slightly and pulled his finger out. As the other god laughed–he had quite a nice laugh, Susanoo thought–Susanoo moved his hand down and cupped the bulge in his Oshi fundoshi. “Or how about here?”
The god stomped forward with a smile painted on his face. He reached out a hand to Susanoo. “Go ahead, little human. Shove my hand in your cock.”
“Okay.” Susanoo reached inside Oshi and pulled his red-fabriced self to the side. His cock, brown and uncut and utterly perfect, spilled out. He grabbed the god’s large hand with both of Oshi’s small ones. He pressed the tip of one of the thick sausage fingers against his own sausage and said, “Thanks for the meal.” He blinked. Susanoo’s cock flared open like the maw of a snake. The stretched skin showcased a hole larger than either of the two gods.
Those snakish eyes widened. Fear flickered across the god’s face. That, that delicious look of terror, burned glee through Susanoo’s veins. He sneered as his cock lunged forward and took in all of the god at once. He’d not done this for a few years. Usually, he enjoyed taking his time with matter such as this, savoring the squirming forms struggling down whatever orifice his captives went down. But this was not about enjoying the act of eating. It was about punishment and anger and saving the angry little human he was going to marry.
His balls bulged out when the plump god was deposited in them. His form inside Susanoo wasn’t nearly as large as it was on the outside. The divine tended to house near-endless space. At least, Susanoo did, and he sort of assumed that was the case for all other gods as well. He could have shrunk his testicles, but he liked the way the added heft pressed against the fabric confines of Oshi’s underwear form. Maybe by the time all of Ochi was in him, Oshi would be able to think of nothing more than Susanoo, his scent, and being filled by him. That would be hot.
His cock, back to its usual size, stirred. As it jutted out, the god of storms grinned. “Tonight,” he said to his cock, “let’s call you Kusanagi.”

Tag Game To Better Know You! Send this to people you’d like to know better!
Oops late to doing this but thanks for the tag, @puella-peanut !
What book are you currently reading? I’ve been taking a fiction break and reading The Sprawl, by Jason Diamond, which is about reconsidering the bad cultural rep of suburbs. And it’s pretty good! A good amount of research and depth without being too dense, but it’s also not a book that’s pandering to a shallow shelf grab (I will never forgive The Secret Life of Groceries for how bad it was).
What’s your favorite movie you saw in theaters this year? Oif dude I’m terrible at remembering stuff like that. Did Marry Me come out this year or last year? Because that I will gladly rewatch again and again, so sue me.
What do you usually wear? During the work day it’s old jeans and work-tattered shirts since I’m a landscaper (or in winter’s case, long Johns, wool socks, jeans, undershirt, thin hoodie, thick hoodie). Outside of work, in the summer it’s usually a tucked in t-shirt and high waisted jeans, and in the winter it’s high waisted jeans and a sweater. I live in Seattle so I don’t usually get to wear my “”nicer””” East Coast stuff because god forbid someone wears a pair of slacks casually in this goddang city. (Said with affection for Seattle, but not for its odd fashion limitations).
How tall are you? About 5’2”.
What’s your Star Sign? Do you share a birthday with a celebrity or a historical event? Libra, and Keanu Reeves, maybe? Or maybe he’s just a Libra too. Idk, I truly barely keep track of celebrities unless I have to lol.
Do you go by your name or a nick-name? At my last job I went by a shortened name, partially just to try it out (it’s one of my short forms I go by at cafes or for fleeting intros as well), and partially because my boss barely attempted with my full name on day one. Don’t have a lot of fondness for my full name outside of the fact that it means a lot to my mom but it’s whatever. Most online spaces that are relatively separate from “real life” I still go by Roshon.
Did you grow up to become what you wanted to be when you were a child? Hmm not sure I had any concrete ideas on what I wanted to be when I was a kid…fleeting daydreams of geologist, chef, non-specific scientist, civil servant? Museum work when I was in high school and college. And it’s not that I didn’t become any of those things, but I think they’ve all been incorporated into who I am today and I’m not sure I’d need to be any of those things professionally to feel fulfilled. Also I love what I do now, but I highly suspect I’ll be one of those people who live a lot of different lives…restaurant work, administration, landscaping….
Are you in a relationship? If not, who is your crush if you have one? Engaged! We’ve been together for about five and a half years. (: does that make me sound old or what lol
What’s something you’re good at vs. something you’re bad at? Being patient; it’s pretty easy for me to exercise patience and take a step back on stuff. I’m bad at admitting I don’t know things, especially things related to pop culture. There are some things (like knowing actors, for example) I’m very open to admitting, but other things like familiarity with famous movies or tv shows, I’m just bad at admitting I haven’t seen them?? It’s dum. Idk why I’m so self-conscious about it.
Dogs or cats? Both, and even though I live with a dog I adore, on a shallow level I probably still favor cats more? But our dog is very dum and cute.
If you draw/write, or create in any way, what’s your favorite picture/favorite line/favorite etc. from something you created this year? Got back into my bullet journal this past year and was pretty pleased with my October theme. Maybe not The Favorite thing I’ve done this year but I’m old and poor with technology so this is as good as it gets. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRguKuX8/
What’s something you would like to create content for? I still have PruAus fics I want to see through one day. Not necessarily holding myself to that promise. But I’d like to. Not sure if that actually answered the question.
What’s something you’re currently obsessed with? Making a mini crevice garden.
What’s something you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year? My previous job- really liked it when I started, and the first half year I was there, and then slogged through the winter months and thought it’d be better in summer when they get busier but it just felt worse. Not necessarily a purely them thing, I’m sure, but still.
What’s a hidden talent of yours? My German, maybe? That might be more of a ‘nobody expects the Asian kid to know any German’ kind of thing, moreso than a hidden talent. Also, half talent, since I’m still not fluent. Did decent when I was in Berlin in October, though!
Are you religious? Spiritual, maybe, religious, no. Still vaguely consider myself Unitarian, but even then it’s still more as a community/mindset thing rather than a religious structure thing.
What’s something you wish to have at this moment? A 7,5-10 gallon tank that’s in a more vertical format rather than horizontal…really itching to redo the scaping in the tank and get a few more fish. Still recovering from the holidays, though, haha. So I guess it all comes back to money, predictably.
