Yuri - perhaps its his angelic nature but he has sympathy for ghosts bc something is preventing them from resting in peace. and he senses a deep and profound suffering from IW. he helps them out when he can in the elk compound. however when he does get accosted he at least has the proper defenses against it

HC about Maegor and his relationship with his wives part 2

Elinor

Elinor was the wife Maegor cared about the least. I imagine she acted like a submissive and harmless woman to keep herself safe. She likely played dumb, pretending she didn’t even know how to read or write, to make Maegor drop his guard.

Inside, though, I think Elinor was angry and determined to survive. After Jaehaerys became king, she probably revealed her true self to Rhaena and helped her escape. I believe Elinor was the one who killed Maegor, taking him by surprise because he never thought his quiet, unimportant wife could do such a thing. Her strategy reminds me of Johanna from The Hunger Games, doing whatever it took to stay alive.

Jeyne

I always picture Jeyne as the youngest of Maegor’s wives. I think Maegor found her annoying, while she was absolutely terrified of him. Sadly, her story reminds me of Jeyne Poole’s—she was young, scared, and trapped in a horrible situation. Her death would have been heartbreaking, as she likely feared suffering the same fate as Alys.

Rhaena

There’s so much to say about Rhaena. Before his injury, I think Maegor tried to win her over, mocking her parents and pretending to be on her side whenever she was upset with them. He wanted her as a Valyrian wife to strengthen his claim to the throne.

But as Aegon, her brother, grew older, Rhaena became closer to him, and they would laugh at their parents together. This might explain some of Maegor’s dislike for his nephews.

After their marriage, I think Maegor tried to show Rhaena some respect at first, but his violence toward her grew over time. She reminded him of Aenys, his brother, and Alyssa, his sister-in-law —two people he hated. Aenys, because he wanted his brother’s approval but never got it, and Alyssa, because she opposed him.

Rhaena likely faced some of Maegor’s worst outbursts, second only to Tyanna. She was a reminder of everything he couldn’t have or control, and that fueled his anger.

For Anarchy week I might drop some Hobie HCs mixed with Webpunk HCs (My sona + Hobie) cus they both just feed off each other's dumb ideas Daily Hobie HC! Week one, day seven Hobie had laid down on the couch with some scary movie on the TV, your head situated comfortably on his chest as you kept eyes on what was happening on the screen. It was a quiet night. Nothing happened on patrol, Hobie came back early, and you repaid his care for you with something he was craving for. Now, Hobie was focused on you as he ran his hands through your hair, beginning to braid it as you watched the movie. He could feel your hands lazily press against his side from time to time, a slow and unfocused massage from you. He leant forwards, kissing your forehead and finally getting your attention away from the screen. As you looked back at him, Hobie tumbled you over with a chuckle, your back against the back of the couch as you laugh and try to sit up, yet Hobie wrapped his arms around you and brought you down to him. He snuggled up into you, his face pressed into the crook of your neck as he gave your neck and shoulders gentle kisses, wanting to shower you in affection but not wanting to disturb you from watching the movie, as you were quite interested. Obviously, he was interested too, but all he had to do was look into your eyes to watch along with you, the reflection showing him all he needed to see while being comfortably pressed against you. Hobie noticed that you had tensed up slightly, bracing yourself for a jumpscare. He quickly moved his hands suddenly to your stomach and pinched it lightly, laughing at the squeal of surprise you let out, with Hobie distracting you from the actual jumpscare a few moments later. You attempt to push him away in retaliation for scaring you, but he was quite literally glued onto you, not that you minded. Hobie would sometimes press kisses to your lips, nose or forehead whenever a boring part of the movie came on, being a little shit and distracting you from the unimportant bits. As the movie slowly progressed to the end, you were beginning to wonder why Hobie hadn't tried to kiss you yet, until you heard his soft snores as he nuzzled his face further into your chest. Hobie had completely fallen asleep in your grasp, uncaring of the movie playing. You lean down to kiss his forehead, snuggling down with him until your eyes begun to feel heavy. With the movie somehow still not ending, you quickly throw a nearby blanket over the two of you before you properly snoozed off, your arms wrapped around Hobie and his arms wrapped around you. -🐦‍⬛

I hate that filler scene of Kakashi and Yamato getting transfixed and nosebleed because of sexy jutsu, and as much as I usually like Rock Lee n Ninja Pals, they made bullshit that Kakashi wore mask because of him getting nosebleed because of Icha-Icha. Not that I reject the notion of Kakashi having sexual drive (although personally I hc him as asexual but still he's an adult man and it's perfectly normal for him to have it) but because they contradict canon to make "adults are perv and weird about sex haha" joke. While in canon :

-does full body turn when Konohamaru did Sexy Jutsu in front of him, Naruto, Sakura, Jiraiya, and Tsunade

-looking disgusted on Konohamaru's Twin Sexy Jutsu and being double disgusted seeing that even the object of the transformation is his own students getting freaky

-recalling the moment when Jiraiya objectifying Tsunade's breast as number with disgusted face and immediately tossed that memory as unimportant (anime messed up about this too, they had Kakashi looked at Tsunade while in manga he just looked at Jiraiya with silent "....")

-straight up knocking Danzo's Root members with genjutsu when they almost see Naruto and Konohamaru's Sexy Jutsu

Like rock lee Pals i tend to let slide cuz it’s supposed to be funny. It also plays up Gai being dumb and so many other things that i know are not true (the sasuke chibi manga does it too. I’m sorry i 100% do not believe Sasuke would actually use a ‘poo chidori’ but in context it is funny)

But why SP decided to go actibely against so many characters established responsense and actions is beyond me. They do it with Sakura by outright removing some of her actions or changing them to something more creul/bullying (like laughing at naruto in the chunin exams where in manga she worries for him) and then they add the stupidest shit for Kakashi

Like i don’t think in Manga Temari calls Kakashi a ‘perv’ for expressing worry over Sakura eating a soldier pill. I agree his choice of wording isn’t the best (when he gets desperate about it he starts arguing it’ll affect her body) but it never really borders into perv and having temari say that just makes her look judgy for no reason

And as you said, Kishi actively has Kakashi turn away from/be disgusting in the sexy no jutsu and the objectification of tsunade by Jiraiya

So why SP had him and Yamato (who we never see react to the sexy no jutsu in manga at all) get nosebleeds when it’s so very out of character for them. It would have fit for Jiraiya, or Ebisu or even Iruka (though he’d get upset after where Jiraiya actively promotes its use) but Kakashi?

It’s not even funny if you read the manga cuz you know this isn’t just a ‘oh i hc he wouldn’t do that’ he actively would not do that in manga

Since Reid doesn’t want to get married, there’s no real reason for him to get his surname changed legally. It would just be confusing for others and not to mention it would be a great pain to change it on his degrees alone, let alone all his other documents. 

It doesn’t stop him from wanting to change his surname, though. 

He makes a compromise and decides to let himself write in Spencer Hotchner for all those dumb, unimportant subscriptions/memberships/whatever. 

And for a while, it’s enough; to be referred to by the name of someone that cares about him. 

(Then, it isn’t.)

Reid starts to introduce himself by the name of Spencer Hotchner whenever and wherever he can. 

During casual conversations with strangers in grocery store line ups, he’s Spencer Hotchner. 

During park outings with Jack and without Hotch, he’ll introduce himself as Spencer Hotchner to whatever parent has decided to interrupt his reading time. 

During his routine self-directed tour of the library of whatever university he’s lecturing, he says his name is Spencer Hotchner to whatever poor student has asked for his help. 

(Students are much more at ease and willing to have an intellectual conversation if they think they aren’t talking to a well renowned guest lecturer, Dr. Spencer Reid.)

((That one kind of makes some students panic though, once they realize the Spencer Hotchner they talked to while running on an hour of sleep is the same Dr. Spencer Reid from the FBI speaking to their whole class from the board.))

It’s going great, the whole surname thing. He gets to fulfill his private, little fantasy without dealing with a couple of mortifying conversations; he gets to be Spencer Hotchner without Hotch having a single clue about it. 

That is until Reid is stopped in the street by a parent he met in the park calling out for Spencer Hotchner.

Right after the parent leaves, Reid immediately begins babbling and apologizing for doing something so school girl-esque.

“Sorry! I’m really sorry. I shouldn’t have done something like that, it was so immature and it’s just—”

17. What makes you insecure about your own writing?

I often compare my writing style to others. I worry that my content isn’t “pretty” enough or that my posts aren’t fluid enough with the #aesthetic. I mean there’s people that can write fucking poetry and I look at my reply and get those “TF is this shit?!” kinda vibes sometimes. ._.

18. What is one thing you’d wish to see more in the rp community?

Honesty... I remember when this whole experience wasn’t such a huge deal. When aesthetics were just your personal vibe without a there being a lingering thought you had to impress people in order for them to even acknowledge you. When people were just coming together to share a common love for something. 

But then there’s the toxicity that comes with and more times than not it’s for no reason or just some petty bs. You get people purposely shutting out others. Not because they’re the toxic ones, not over some cataclysmic wrongdoing, but over something like “well they have a *insert minuscule, unimportant hc detail* that i don’t really care for” just dumb things like that. I just miss the community being a COMMUNITY.

... so that. XDD I wanna see more of that welcoming aspect. I know it’s there in little pockets but it seems to diminish more and more whenever the loud pretentious people try to dictate what’s #cool 

19. Who is an author that inspires you?

Neil Gaiman tbh. I remember the first time I read Sandman and just. freaking. WOW. I was hooked to almost everything ever since. Legit one of the reasons I have an Ankh tramp stamp is because of the Death graphic novels. XD

20. Do you need music/noise to write or do you prefer silence?

I do need something in the background at least, but if it’s the t.v I can get distracted. I mostly turn to music, either my muse's or ship playlist, lo-fi tunes, or even a cinematic OST. I can’t do silence sometimes unless it’s in those moments where I get a random idea or plot point I have to jot down. 

22. Are there any red roleplay flags for you that make you back off immediately?

Not tagging nsfw images or just no tagging in general. No rules anywhere, or if I legit have to deep dive search for the link... c’mon now. Openly and often participating in petty drama or the before mentioned pretentious, nose in the air, stick up the bum quality. Basically anything that violates my own ‘don’t be a dick’ rule.

Brotp: María x Emmett

Okay so this is for my buddy @jaspersthebomb bc we both love this brotp and I’d love to go into more detail and share more cute found family hc’s.

In that one ask I mentioned how María would get along with Emmett the most if she were to meet/be with the Cullens because he’d most likely be the nicest to her and they just have matching wild energies lol. Emmett and Maria would be so fun and dangerous together.

They would have the best relationship. I always thought Maria would remind Emmett of one of his many siblings from his human life, like a little sister because they both have dark curly hair, and he’d lowkey be more inclined to her because of that. His hugs are so strong and they make María feel safe, especially how the hug completely engulfs her cuz she so small lol and I mentioned how Emmett would basically become that one meme where that guy is like “and if anything happens to her I would kill everyone in this room and then myself” but it’s Emmett holding María lmao.

Their favorite thing to do is fight, they love fighting and training and María teaches him so much. Emmett basically becomes one of the best fighters in the coven next to Jasper because he’s learned so much from María. They love mimicking WWE after watching Raw/Smackdown and they practice all the MMA moves they see on tv. María always catches Emmett with the RKO.

A lot of the time Emmett just likes picking María up and holding her next to him, either because he’s helping her calm down, just for fun, or he wants to hug someone. I know Emmett is portrayed as a dumb boi (and he can be lol) but I think he would really help María when she’s out of her mind or having troubles with her demons and trauma. He’s the same way with Rosalie. He helps calm her by holding her and keeping her warm, and even making her giggle. He definitely makes jokes to lighten situations but sometimes he understands that she just wants someone to talk to, listen, and comfort her.

He’s like a huge source of safety and security for her. Like when she’s feeling scared she won’t say anything because she hates to show vulnerability but you’ll see signs in the way she stands closer to or even behind Emmett. She’ll hold onto his shirt or his muscular arm, and when she’s super terrified she’ll just run right into him and hug him close burying her face into his shirt, or she waits until he does one his many hugs before she burying her face and hugging him closer letting him know somethings up.

Like she loves Jasper and all but she sees him as more of a romantic comfort/Partner in Everything, whereas Emmett is more familial. He’s a different kind of comfort/companion. Emmet also learned to tell when she’s afraid because like I said, she hugs her and she buries her face into his chest and/or lingers a little longer, or he’ll see her backing up and becoming more distant, or he’ll notice her many signs of her anxiety rising like her shoulders tensing or her hands playing and rolling over each other. He’ll instantly know somethings up with her and it’s too cute because he’s like “what’s wrong rírí?”

Sometimes she gets so comfortable in Emmett’s arms she’ll just straight curl up and fall asleep (sleeping au) because he’s like a big ass pillow. Sometimes Emmett feels unimportant, because of how ignored he may feel, María sees and realizes and just sits with him and talks till he feels better. They literally just become so close! Like they literally just see each other as siblings and María is so happy to finally have someone she considers family again. I think that’s all María ever really wants/wanted, a family. Doesn’t have to be a bunch of people but just someone.. like she's happy and grateful that she has Jasper but that's not exactly a familial bond. The one she has with Emmett is.

I also just love the idea of her and emmett just wrecking shit together too. My chaotic babies!!!

Ichigo

•Ichigo didn’t really know he was ready for marriage until he just… was. He was looking at his s/o one day and just kind of decided yeah, I could spend the rest of my life with you. I think I will.

•Gets a burst of excitement thinking about a future with his spouse. About moving in together, getting a car, getting a dog

•He would want to save up for a really nice ring, but probably goes for something simple in the end

•At any point in time he’s either a goofy dad or a confused dad. No in between. He doesn’t exactly know how to be a dad. It takes some time lol. Pampers? Bottle-feeding? What kind of baby wipes does he need to use? Which type of pacifier is better? Is his baby’s onesie too tight? How does he hold the baby?

•Essentially, rip Ichigo for the first few months of his new life as a dad 

•Carries his kid around in a baby backpack for sure

•If his kid ever gets into soul reaper-y stuff, Ichigo will teach them, albeit sort of… bluntly. Lol. He may end up freaking his kid out with all the otherworldly info. Ichigo forgets he was once clueless about the stuff 

•Also, if his kid gives him attitude or does some dumb shit, Ichigo goes to bed that night thinking “This is my fault somehow. I made this child. I made that little shit.”

•Of course he still loves his kids but damn those ‘rebellious teenage years’ are SO bad. Imagine Ichigo’s kid treating him like he treated Isshin lmaooo. That’s karma 

•Type of dad that gives horrible advice when his kid comes to him because he’s flustered and caught off-guard, but later on returns with something more helpful

Midoriya

•He would love to get married, but there’s a lottttt of anxiety surrounding the decision. He’s a pro hero, how is he going to make time for marriage? He knows other heroes do it, even married hero couples. But will he be able to manage? He can’t stand the thought of feeling distant from his spouse because of his work, or neglecting them and making them feel unimportant 

•But of course Midoriya can handle it. He makes time for his spouse no matter what. Sure, the thought of frequent date nights is out the window, and his spouse may have to compete with fans and papparazze (and endangered citizens lol) for his attention, but they’ll manage 

•But omg imagine pro hero Deku getting married and social media goes crazyyyy. Everyone ships them. Midoriya’s embarrassed but it’s also flattering

•The media also loses their shit when his kid’s birth is announced (he would probably want to keep it secret for the sake of his privacy but it probably gets out regardless. I’m guessing it was Kaminari’or Mina’s fault) 

•He cries like a baby during his kid’s birth. He’s so emotional

•Still dorky as a dad. Semi dad-jokes type of dad. But also a try hard dad

•A little bit overprotective. He of course has confidence in his kid’s abilities and trusts them, it’s just that he doesn’t trust others. Especially when his kid first go off to school, poor Midoriya sits up at night worrying his kid will be bullied or harassed like he was

•BUT all he can do is try to make his kid the best person they can be, to rise above others, and all that other motivational love yourself stuff, which Midoriya becomes really good at by the time he grows up

•Awwwww imagine his kid not having a quirk either. At first Midoriya feels guilty because he thinks it’s his fault (even if it really wasn’t) but then he decides he’s going to be supportive as hell 

•Side not: can definitely see Midoriya wanting to adopt!
