People who dislike shows because they have to wait a week between episodes are weak and will not survive the winter.
No, the pacing isn’t “wrong”. Just because things haven’t been resolved in a few episodes doesn’t mean that it’s poor writing. It’s not the show’s fault that you have the attention span of a small rodent.
Maybe my millennial is showing, but I’m used to waiting a week per episode. Two weeks if something special happened on the network. But that’s just how it was back then.
Instant gratification has ruined a lot of people’s abilities to enjoy media because people have awful attention spans. A plot has to be constantly moving and obvious for people to think that a show is good. Character development is considered filler and unnecessary.
Y’all are driving me crazy.

There’s no stronger homoerotic tension in fiction than between two male characters that have been confirmed to be straight multiple times

You’ve heard of blorbo. You’ve heard of poor little meow meow. You’ve heard of skrunkly. You’ve heard of skrimblo. You’ve heard of spoingle. You’ve heard of glup shitto. You’ve heard of mipy. You’ve heard of eeby deeby. You’ve heard of horse plinko. Now get ready for the new term I’ve come up with that I can’t stop saying for some reason:
CRUNCHLY BUNCHLY
It’s a character that makes you just wanna put them in your mouth and chew them up aggressively like an extra delicious tortilla chip.

there's just something special and nice about couples where a dangerous, typically evil being like a demon or a ghost king falls in love with a typically good being like an angel or a god and then acts courteous, sweet, respectful, and loving towards their beloved rather than manipulative, possessive, and controlling like you'd expect

obsessed with media that represents technology and the urban city as a reverential or sacred thing, like yes computers and virtual space as sites of holy communion, yes parallels to the human body, yes desperation in our need to connect, yes yes yes i believe in the sanctity of wire panelling and mainframes.

friendly reminder that you're allowed to enjoy a piece of media and hate the creators! :D
to me, an autistic person, it feels ableist as hell to say shit like "enjoying [media] = supporting [bad shit creators do/support]"
i cannot stop liking a piece of media that easily. i can stop doing things that could financially support those people. piracy exists. please shut the fuck up about "you like this therefore you like bad thing!!!"

If you're an adult watching a kid's show, I fully believe there's two things you need to understand before watching.
The first thing to understand is: You are not the targeted demographic. If characters or messages don't click with you, that's because it's not for you. You are not the person that this show is aimed towards.
Secondly, you have to understand who the targeted audience is. I feel like this gets lost on a lot of older audience members who complain about messages being watered down or having a lack of violence.
The targeted age demographic for that Y-7 cartoon is not you, it's for kids who are learning multiplication for the first time.
"Man this show is pretty immature at times." That's because it's not made for people who can legally purchase and drink alcohol. It's made for kids who are learning what a preposition is and don't know how to do long division.
