If/when you have the time to do so, it'd be pretty cool to see some headcannons about the type of nerd stuff Tim does/is into. Like what kinds of games and shows he's into, "nerdy" behaviors of his, would he ever cosplay, etc. I personally think that he'd be into Dungeons and Dragons (not sure to what degree though).

Also, as an alternative, you could do headcannons about Tim with a nerdy!S/O who "matches his freak", so to speak.

Tim being into DnD is actually canon! The game he played in the comics was called Warlocks and Warriors

So, to what degree would he play? I think a pretty serious one

Not necessarily every week game night sort of thing, but at least once at month, or when he and his group can regroup to play together

I can see him going deep into the character making. Choosing the name accurately to the ability they have, the powers and so on

alright, so the OST song that plays during the byler rain fight is titled "Not Kids Anymore", obviously quoting mike's line "But we're not kids anymore." the line that triggers the song, so the line that changes/emphasizes the tone, is "It's not my fault you don't like girls!". it cuts to will's reaction and the music begins. i know we all know the rain fight by heart, but i'm gonna add the dialogue anyway

Mike: Will, come on. You can't leave, it's raining. Hey, I said I was sorry, alright? It's a cool campaign it's really cool! We're just not in the mood right now.

the only other time "Not Kids Anymore" has played is in s4 ep1. It plays when lucas dustin and mike are arguing over the basketball championship and hellfire. again i'm gonna show the entire convo just to have full context since it's pretty much all going to be relevant.

Lucas: I don't get the big deal. Just talk to Eddie. Get him to move Hellfire to another night.

Dustin: "Just talk to Eddie."

Mike: Why don't you just talk to your coach and get him to move the game?

Dustin: I think that's a great idea, Mike!

Mike: Thank you, Dustin!

Lucas: This is the championship game!

Dustin: This is the end of Eddie's campaign! A semester of adventuring has led to this moment, and we need you!

you're probably starting to see where i'm going with this lol

before i go into it i want to say that it is undeniable that these scenes are connected, clearly. there are over a hundred other songs in the ST OST albums and they chose this one. there is undoubtedly connections and subtext.

so clearly lucas is saying he is aware of the fact that he is a nerd/freak, but he doesn't want to be. he wants to get in with the popular crowd. hanging out with them and being on the basketball team despite always being on the bench is something he's doing on purpose, a choice he's making, because he wants to be perceived a certain way. he wants to be perceived as cool, as normal.

lucas is skipping out on dnd because he's trying to be normal.

so what's the connection here? is it just that lucas and mike both don't want to play dnd? cause that's not really the case, at least for lucas. he wants to play dnd, he just wants them to move it to a different night so he can go to the game. it's a cool campaign, it's really cool! we're just not in the mood right now.

lets compare some other lines from these two scenes

you could also look at it as will saying (not literally saying, but a coded way) that he actually needs mike while el does not, clearly, since all they do is make out meanwhile will genuinely loves mike and wants to connect with him. will needs mike. Yeah, and the Tigers don't. You've been on the bench all year.

i guess the fact that they're both insinuating that this is what will happen to themselves if they don't act. lucas doesn't want to be stuck with the nerds and freaks, and mike doesn't want to be gay lmfao. dnd in mikes basement is canonically a metaphor for will's love for mike, so thats not delusional at all sorry

i've always found that mike line interesting. it's not the way someone who is in love talks about their bf/gf. mike didn't fall in love (at first sight), he got a girlfriend. he acquired a girlfriend. saying it like that kind of gives the implication that mike sees his relationship as an action that everyone must take at a certain point in their life, like it's just what you're supposed to do. that's what normal people do.

lucas knows what he is. he's a nerd, he's a freak, but wants to change. he wants to be perceived as cool and normal. and he is purposefully pulling away from his friends to spend time with other cool, normal people which will make him cool and normal too. and he wants his friends to want the same things he does.

these are the lines that trigger the music, so the turning point of the scene, the climax. how are they similar? well, it seems like both of them are acknowledging a choice. lucas is acknowledging the choice of getting in with the popular crowd, even if it means pretending to be someone you're not, a choice he has already made, and a choice he wants dustin and mike to make. soooo it seems like mike is acknowledging the choice of liking girls/dating girls, a choice he has already made, even if it means pretending to be someone you're not, a choice he wants will to make (or is at least acknowledging that will has not made that choice yet, and that it's not mike's fault).

they are both acknowledging the choice to conform.

"It's forced confirming. That's what killing the kids. That's the real monster."

i will also point out the differences in the cinematography of these scenes. the rain fight is an over the shoulder (we can see the back of wills head and his shoulder in the corner) and is closer up than the s4 scene. the s4 scene is warm and colorful while the rain fight is pale and desaturated. that's color grading, which is all done in post production. basically, the rain fight is way more intimate and serious because this is an argument between two people who are in love, meanwhile the s4 scene is an argument between friends.

its also generally interesting that mike is in the both of these scenes, but on opposite sides. in the rain fight he is the one conforming, and in the s4 scene is anti-conformity. so if mike doesn't want to be popular, doesn't care if he's associated with nerds and freaks, proudly deems himself a nerd and freak, what was his deal in s3? easy question, he's queer. next

this parallel, in my opinion, carries over into another scene which i talked about in this post. it all makes a lot of sense tied together!

Although he love physical touch his favourite love language is quality time and I can not be convinced otherwise. Although it might be a little toxic I definitely think he can be overly protective/possessive of you. Honestly you kind of like it but you know he only acts this way because he’s insecure. Making you sit in his lap when he has friends over so they know not to look at you to much, making you wear his jacket if you get too much attention in public and glaring at any man who walks past. You always know he’s feeling jealous when his pupils are like pin pricks and he’s breathing like a bull with his fists clenched. He’s gotten into fights a few times so you usually have to calm him down. He’s always super embarrassed and apologetic after. Buying you some expensive pretty thing so you don’t hate him. Probably takes him quite a while to feel comfortable showing you his full face or even telling you his real name. Even once you’ve already seen it sometimes he still hides his face on days he’s feeling particularly insecure. Once before you’d seen his face you asked one of his friends, horangi, about it. He said they’d known each other almost a decade and he’d only seen his face a few times, most of which were accidental. König had a pretty miserable time as a teenager. He only really bulked out when he was about 17, right before he joined the military. Believe it or not he was pretty scrawny for most of his life. Once he said he used to be built like a lamppost. Before the military he was generally quite quiet and timid. He still is almost always very quiet. This in combination with his more nerdy interests and the fact that talking to a pretty girl for too long gave him a nosebleed made him a pretty easy target for bullies. He was always shy about his appearance but in the early days of his military career his self esteem plummeted when he got a face full of shrapnel during a mission. Luckily they got him to a medic fast but there’s only so much they could do. He hates the scars. Hates the attention. You’re the only person who’s ever made him feel better about it. Kissing every scar, cooing at him while he cries into your chest after another shitty day. Tell him you’re proud of him and how handsome he is. Even if he doesn’t believe it, he at least feels better knowing you believe it at least.

max is up to date on tiktok/internet memes and kind of speaks fluent reference. probably watches real housewives and dance moms with el (will will join in occasionally for glee.) she also thrifts a lot of her clothes and has very cool style in kind of an idgaf what anyone else thinks way. huge flannel collection. does stage crew. i know she skateboards in canon and she still would but i feel like she would also do roller-derby or like speed skating or something. similar music taste to lucas but also a swiftie from a young age. had a panic at the disco phase and did crazy 2020 eyeliner (it's not a phase, mom) and will never live it down. keeps a journal. goes to therapy

Why I think Lancaster is so interesting (posted outside of the community for others to see)

One thing about Lancaster is that he’s not a stereotypical nerd, even though Agent Love keeps calling him one. He doesn’t really have the typical nerdy interests or habits. Like…Klein was the one who got everyone into DND, that’s classic nerd behavior. And Harley? He literally made his own language and knows Morse code. Those are the kinds of things you’d expect from super smart, nerdy people. Not saying Lancaster isn’t smart, because he totally is, but out of everyone (besides Love), he seems the most into playing games and actually gets really intense about it. He’s super social, always talking to people and handling things, and even though he stutters sometimes, that doesn’t mean he’s shy or introverted. He has no problem talking to people. He’s also the most likely to get into some roughhousing. That’s why he pairs so well with Love…he can actually match her energy. I just think that’s such an interesting part of his character. He’s smart, but not in the typical bookish, overly math-ish way. Instead, he’s competitive, playful, and really outgoing, which makes him feel way more dynamic. He’s someone who can have serious discussions but also jump into a game and get way too into it. It makes his interactions with the team feel so natural!!

I think a lot of people really don't get the Eddie Dustin dynamic. They think Dustin and Eddie are new best friends, that they are equal, which is not the case. Their dynamic is more mentor-student coded. Eddie said it himself he sees the people in his club as little sheep he saved, he never really was their friend. His world view also shaped Dustin's personality. This kid and his friends saved the world 3 times, they consider themselves heroes and yet by society standards they are seen as nerds and get bullied. Then there comes a dude who they think gets it, so they latch on. Even though he is not that different from popular kids who think they are better than the rest. His harmful opinions influence Dustin (I would argue even Mike) that they suddenly ditch their friend, are mean, failing school even though in Dustin's case he absolutely loves learning and so forth. Eddie brought out the worst of them which contributed to the tensions in s4 between Steve and Dustin (along with Dustin maybe being jealous of Robin tbh I haven't considered that way but it makes sense). You can't compare the Steve and Dustin dynamic with Eddie and Dustin because Steve never saw himself as something better than Dustin, he always treated him as someone equal which is why their bond will always be stronger than the bond Dustin has with Eddie. I really hope for s5 they somewhat touch on this. (Sorry for coming in your inbox like this)

Most people in this fandom don't get Eddie, full stop. They completely buy into the bullshit he spews about conformity and "the man", which isn't helped by the Duffers also leaning into it. Most egregious example being the supposed conclusion to Lucas' s4 arc. It's ridiculous precisely because Eddie does begin to learn that his assumptions/"doctrine" is wrong through his growing admiration for Steve and his bravery.

Eddie's relationship with his friends is absolutely not based on any kind of equality. He is looked to as a leader and not a particularly forgiving one at that. More like a tyrant. It's played for laughs but Mike and Dustin are genuinely anxious about how Eddie will react to not only Lucas not being available for DnD on one particular night, but him being unavailable because of a basketball game. Lucas didn't even want to talk to him himself, probably because Eddie has already shown himself to be unreasonable when it comes to DnD and basketball.

It's not purely Eddie's influence that leads Dustin to his meaner path, but he certainly doesn't help. Dustin has always been a know-it-all and cocky, he has a foul mouth, and he clearly has hard set ideas about other people that he finds very difficult to let go of. I think Eddie's main influence is in the us vs them attitude that Dustin adopts regarding the "popular" kids, but Dustin's overconfidence is definitely also because he has cheated death 3 years in a row. Nobody that was real to Dustin has died and he believes his plans are infallible... until Eddie dies following one of his plans. Yes, Eddie made the stupid decision to run into certain death for no real reason, but it is through Dustin that Eddie is connected to the larger plot. If he had just witnessed Chrissy's death and then hid, then he would have eventually been found by someone else and never directly involved with the Upside Down.

The thing I mentioned about jealousy over Steve and Robin's friendship, I think it's something that gets overlooked Way too much. Dustin was very invested in his idea that Steve and Robin are perfect for each other. We all know why they're not together, but Dustin doesn't. He just sees Steve being best friends with Robin instead of boyfriend and girlfriend like he had expected/predicted and that throws him off. 1. He was not right about something and 2. HE'S supposed to be Steve's best friend. He feels replaced. So, he tries to replace Steve. Not totally, because he can't, but Dustin Literally says to Steve "You're just jealous I have another older male friend". Dustin doesn't have subtlety. He's Trying to make Steve jealous and it is working!

Steve and Dustin's friendship was so fresh and unexpected. They're not supposed to be friends, but they are. Steve watches Star Wars with Dustin, Steve does Dustin's hair. They save each other's lives. Attempting to recreate that brotherhood with Eddie just...doesn't work. They haven't gone through what Steve and Dustin have gone through. Plus, you're right, Steve and Dustin are on a more equal level. There's elements of mentor-student with them, but most importantly they teach each other. Steve isn't leading Dustin down a road of enlightenment, he's just hanging out with his buddy. Eddie doesn't compare.

I have zero faith in s5, which I'm barely certain I'll even be watching. The Duffers lean too hard into fan service so they're going to recreate the Justice for Barb storyline but with Dustin and it's going to suck. The Duffers don't think it's a bad thing that Dustin snipes at Steve constantly or puts down his intelligence, because it's meant to be funny. Comic relief yay. The characters on this show are mean to each other, yes, but it's annoying to deal with when we see Steve apologise for going too far when he bites back at Dustin.

This is genuinely VERY difficult. I landed on Mournwatch because I like the idea of a 1000+ year old spirit somehow coming back in an ancient Nevarran crypt and adjusting as he explores the world of Thedas. Thedas also has many encounters with spirits who have come back into a version of their body but worse, and I think that the Mournwatch would Identify this, but unlike other factions, nurture his spirit and have him return to his actual personality. Plus I think that Necropolis would be the best place for him to find his memories so it makes sense he's poking around there.

Yugi:

Veil Jumpers.

Ridiculously Veil Jumper coded. Please let our favourite punk kid go solve weird elven artefact puzzles in the big spooky forest. Hell, maybe even let him get possessed a little too. Not to be a giant nerd either, but in the Season 0 manga we have Yugi saying that he'd be an elf in DnD and given how Dalish coded this faction is, this feels like less of a headcanon and more of a "well duh". ALSO TRIANGLES AS A DESIGN MOTIF!!! (!!!)

I umm-ed and ahh-ed about this or 'Shadow Dragon' for longer than I care to admit. But ultimately, especially given how long it took for his ancient Egyptian self to give a shit about anyone other than himself, this man is not going to work with a secret rebellion to free slaves in a society that believes wealth and magic make you superior. However, a one-off instance that means he has to ascend to a position of nobility and reverence after coming from nothing? Absolutely Kaiba is a Grey Warden. The dragon obsession even works (this dude's lifelong ambition is to slay an archdemon before he succumbs to the calling, hell, he probably thinks he can outsmart The Calling) and this allows him to keep his silver and blue colour theming. This bad boy is absolutely from Tevinter and don't even get me started.

Tea/Anzu:

Shadow Dragons

Pretty popular girl with a heart of gold absolutely wouldn't stand for the oppression in Tevinter and I could see her working with the organisation. Her sense of justice and love for her friends absolutely lends itself well here. I don't think she's high-ranking necessarily, but I think her values align deeply with the faction.

Joey/Jonochi:

Lords of Fortune

Scrappy baby boy who loves found family and dragons? Put this man on a pirate ship with Isabella and let him hunt for treasure. He absolutely strikes me as a Lord who starts with the crew and eventually leaves for a 'higher purpose' (idk like literally fighting god) and returns. He would be sensitive to the cultural parts of the job and I can see him VERY QUICKLY rallying and trying to help others.

Honda/Tristan:

Lords of Fortune

Wherever Joey goes, this man follows him. I think it makes sense that they both start off here and that maybe Honda is more reluctant to leave than Joey is but ultimately succumbs to whatever adventure he goes on. I did briefly consider Shadow Dragon for him because he does come around to sticking up for the little guy, but he has to start somewhere first and his growth is ultimately due to friendship so he is a Lord of Fortune that I could see becoming a Shadow Dragon or working with them later.

Mai Valentine:

You're telling ME that the high fashion, beautiful woman who would grift people and has a 'hot bird woman' themed deck WOULDN'T be a high fashion, beautiful assassin with wings and bird theming? In honor of one of my favorite little guys, I thought I’d share some headcanons I have of him!

My guy loves to cook, being from New Orleans, but he cannot bake for the life of him. He can barely follow a recipe, and even that’s only if someone else is in the kitchen with him. Once he accidentally set the microwave on fire—don’t ask him how. (Apparently you’re not supposed to put aluminum foil in there. Who knew?) He’s an absolute whiz at cooking, though. He loves to make his own recipes and make food for his friends and family. He knows how to cook everyone’s comfort food by heart. His favorite is jambalaya—only his mom’s recipe, no one else's.

Mark has a strained but slowly improving relationship with both his parents. After their divorce, and once they started to work out the whole co-parenting thing, they realized they hadn’t exactly been the best parents to Mark and his younger sister Sarah (4). So they decided to step up their game, actually acknowledge that they weren’t doing their best, and work to be better before it’s too late. They really are trying their best to be involved and interested in their kids’ lives, and although it was definitely awkward at first, Mark has come around and is trying to accept this shifting dynamic.

When he graduates high school, he’d love to go on to become a loctician with his own business. Dean keeps trying to convince him to start a band with him or get into the restaurant business with him, but Mark is very determined on what he wants rkr. I think he initially grows up planning to be a doctor or a lawyer, because he *has* to be successful. He's a POC in the 80s, he has to be the best of the best. But deep down, he knows none of that is what he wants, and I think it clicks what he *does* want when he gets a chance to do Dean's trans haircut!

Mark is also technically a genius! He has an IQ of 170 and is insanely smart, easily one of the most hardworking and intelligent kids in their high school. You can absolutely bet he could go to an Ivy League school if he wanted to. He’s a three time champion of the United States chess championship!

Mark does do research into psychology and sociology as a hobby but he doesn't want to do that for a job either. He loves history, especially learning about his own since a lot of it is hidden. This man is a KING at research (and 100% has color coded binders). He's a chess nerd and, once he learns about it, a DND fiend. He loves to tell stories and strategize, and chess and DND let him do that. As mentioned before, he’s also a bit of a chess prodigy, but never wanted to pursue that as a career so he didn't. He does go to tournaments sometimes to kick ass XD and loves to play with his friends (specifically Michael, because Michael is also amazing at chess and gives him a run for his money).

He loves helping people become who they want to be on the outside, so he loves doing hair and makeup, especially for POC and LGBT people since there are less good institutions for them!! He eventually opens up his own salon and has such a good time!

Pirin and his squad play DnD (and some guest appearances) and other funny moments.

Sources of shorts? Legends of Avantris (LoA), DingoDoodles - Fools Gold (FG), Critical Role (CR) and others. What started this? Yup. It's firenation, sending me some DnD clips and which character-coded they are... And I spiraled. help. Fire, I blame you for this- now I can procrastinate infinitely instead of doing my assignments aaa- (I have no regrets. >:) ) Pirin is the DM most of the time. Other times it's Ludovic or Soren-- since they can keep a straight face and not say out of pocket nonsense, or interrupt their narrating just to quip back with bs. (and turn it into a one-upping competition on who says the most random nonsense, derailing the campaign and session.) In the LoA clips, Torbek is Soren. Chuckle (the clown thing) is Berial; Gideon (demon-lookin dude) is Sinbad most of the time-- Other times he is the crocodile with red text. Pirin can be the mouse (don't know his name), Ludovic (when he's not DM) is the fancy croc guy with blue text or just a fancy croc guy. Valen is the tiger man. And on occasion the goblin is either Merlin or Hodgkin. Rila joins in too, more often. I'll just give the link and who's who/has what color text for each vid.

The Squad plays DnD

FG - Old Gothi nonsense. -Strangely, Vanya is not the DM and chose to be Gothi. Sips, the monkey, is Soren. Ludovic is Sneeze, the big-eared creature), Arina is Berial, Sinbad is Jack (the guy with glasses and gemstone nerd) and Valen is calm the tall demon-man who can be seen drinking tea. Later he chooses to play Xanu, Gothi's old friend who's a god.

LoA- Gorilla on the loose -Hodgkin got roped into playing this DnD campaign with Pirin and his squad. Man went in 100% blind, And Pirin's team (Vanya was the DM like usual) told him:

"There's this fairy forest whose Queen is supposed to attend. And the children are going missing-- You're this kid NPC who tells the party about the problem."

"What kinda dumb-ass bullshit is this..? Whatever, fine." And proceeds to play his 'role'. While the team just makes his life miserable-- Berial (Chuckle the clown) brings up the gorilla (the monster's called Gryla), and Valen's the crocodile guy dressed with blue colored text, Soren is Torbek, while Sinbad's the croc with red text. And Pirin is the Mouse.

CR - Boobs of feral leaping - Sam is Valen, Travis is Soren, Matt is Pirin. The woman is Rila. Late session at Traveler's Light.

LoA - Laughter is bad - This one is just the squad, and Ludovic is the DM (Sinbad has been laughing like an idiot that campaign almost the entire time.) So Ludovic told him that he'll be taking 1d damage when he laughs. The Earl is literally the only person on the whole table that doesn't laugh.

Cue Soren (Torbek), Valen (tiger dude), Berial (goblin guy) and Pirin (fancy croc dude) just making him laugh on purpose. The guy who yells "watch out for the desk!" is Hodgkin (Tried to play DnD with them again, thinking it'll be better since he's not NPC this time. And threw the desk at Pirin.)

The Deez nuts joke strikes again! -Sinbad is the Gricko (goblin) this time and Soren is Gideon (demon dude) Mirael is playin the witch -and suffering the duo's bs- Red text of the face in the jar is Ludovic but doesn't laugh or make the face.

Mirael: "All I require, is your best joke. I already have one in mind."

Sinbad: "Ooh! Which one?"

"The kind of joke the DM hates the most." -Ludovic, with a light amused smile as he jokes. The rest of the table laughs. And Pirin (DM) has a deadpan on his face while the table laughs.

Sinbad: "But I was saving it for the finale!" More laughter.

LoA- "Candy'' crisis Once again, Ludovic is the DM, also playing woman NPC continuously trying reign-in the party on the track, pointing their attention to the ongoing CRISIS of children being murdered--- and he's had it with the team's nonsense. (Also learnt on accident how to cuss from Pirin. Whenever he get seriously angry, you can hear him talk ''calmly'' in French.)

Valen: "Can we go follow Berial in that direction? Assuming he knows where the children are?"

Ludovic, pinching the bridge of his nose in evident exasperation, at his wits' end. Then sharply lifts his head from how he'd bowed it, giving a sharp 'dismiss' of his hand, palm up: "Sure!

Why the-" Berial censors with a loud clown nose honk -"NOT?" Was miffed for five campaigns after that, strictly keeping to being a player instead of DM for the week.

When you got no other clothes a.k.a Soren and Sinbad being 'dumb' idiots and out of pocket. And Pirin was DM, the Earl just not sure how to feel and react at all so he's simply "🗿" the whole time. Valen is laughing with Berial and the rest. (The clown was loosing it)

Soren rolled with the whole play bunny outfit, going for improvising the sexy music when his character was pulling on the fishnets only to pout when his fur just completely overtakes them.

Sinbad and Soren - The ''wand'' (Ludovic was made DM for the session 'cause Pirin was dying from laughter) No kids were allowed on the table that session same as the previous one 'no other clothes'.

Soren out of character, with a deadpan: "Alright fine. You got me." Sinbad is cackling in the background, like some evil maniac. "Congrats, you win."

The dumpling ''debate'' -Berial (green text), Valen (blue text, Tiger), Pirin is DM, the wizard is Sinbad

The Naughty list A.K.A the main team being unhinged- Ludovic is DMing the session (and kids were banned from the table for this one). And Pirin is Santa, while Val is the crocodile and Torbek is Soren as usual along with Berial being Chuckle. Santa was the biggest troll of them all, all along.

"Everything you see, appears naughty to you."

Berial: "Do children take 1d damage or 20 hitpoints?"

Pirin: "What kind of question is this? WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT?! YOU'RE GOING ON THE NAUGHTY LIST--AGAIN for the second time!!" Berial: "Oh." :(

Valen: "If I take off your glasses, will you die?"

Pirin: "You're on the liiist!"

Soren: "Do children have... Bones?"

Pirin: "Children's bones?! What kind of question is this?! You're going on the list!"

Berial: "Do you wanna build a snowmaan~? Or It's gonna be a clown~!"🎶 :D

Random funny moments from when they're hanging out.

Shrimp, Heaven, Now! -It was the Moon traversing the areas around Ryeham up north with Valen and Berial (the jester had saw 'em and tacked himself on as a third wheel. Allegedly as back-up if some more serious anomaly shows up).

They were scouring for rifts and odd out of place things after Rila's rampage. The trio stumbled upon a diary, and Pirin started reading it. Vanyo was sick at the time. Valen's the guy with glasses and striped shirt.

------ The Honensai festival -A.K.A Pirin talking about dicks with a straight face and 'not' look gay asf while at it. Happens during the group's vacation traversing Teyvat ("Don's Trial" whoops) and before moving on to their next destination.

(It all started with Valen choosing a Tengu warrior kabuki mask, only to get 'bullied' by Sinbad, Soren and Berial about it.) The group, hanging out peacefully in the Chinju forest (Inazuma). Pirin and Valen are lying on the grass, watching the starry sky; Berial is draped lazily on a tree branch close by, Ludovic is studying the glowing flowers by the running river; And Soren is sitting on the grass with arms crossed, back leaned on the rock next to the lovebirds, head bowed.

Pirin: "So there's a festival in Japan called "The penis festival'', sort of jokingly." 😀 Everyone pauses and looks at him. Just casually dropped the bombshell, blurting this out so innocently. The squad at this bit of trivia they did not need to know--

Sinbad, perched on a dock pole with a bowl of fish-stew Pirin made and enjoying it in peace. ...Until he can feel eyes on him. Sinbad: "No I won't give you my food, go find your own." (-_-) Valen just stands there by his side, giving him that puppy-dog look like he was to Hogan in Windmeadchen's art of them. The one where he's like "General? Are you finished eating?" ...After a moment Sinbad feels guilty just eating in front of him like this and sighs in exasperation.

"Fiiine, here. Damn lunch-thief." - And shoves a bowl of stew in the knight's hands, having an annoyed deadpan. Shakes his head at the happy man. Next time Val just hands him his own lunch....in that same small lidded wooden bowl. (The one Valen bought for himself)

Placing the bowl with his lunch for tomorrow in the fridge, he leaves it there. In the morning, he gets up and goes to open the fridge... only to find no bowl there. And because no one else here eats human food- He just knows it was Valen.

Next time Sinbad gets himself some homecooked food into his travel-bowl, he gets a piece of paper-- And tacks it onto the lid, smack-dab in the center. 'Sinbad' in big, really bold letters at the top then 'Don't touch my food, Valen. >:(' under it with equally bold letters, also underlined with a thick line. ....The result was the same as last time.
