what are your thoughts on Harumi x Kuai Liang (I need to see them in your art style)
To be completely honest with you, I’m still neutral to them- but he looked pretty happy in the recent trailers!

Reggie supporting a blood supremacist group doesn’t mean he doesn’t DESERVE redemption, he does, any character and person can have redemption. However, he did NOT get that redemption because there was no arc, he died before he could’ve gotten it, there was no development or effort, there was one singular action (which we don’t know the reasoning behind) and there was his death. This is not a redemption arc.

Things that happen at work:
Me: *at the cash register, helping a customer find his parts, feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, take it out to check if I need to ignore or answer, it’s my Mom so of course I’m going to answer* Hey, sorry, I need to take this right quick. Hey mommy, I’m at work, can I call you back when I’m on my break?
Mom: Yeah, sure, that sounds good.
Me: okloveyoubye! *hang up and put my phone away* Sorry about that, where were we?
Customer: No worries, I get it, you always always have to answer when it’s your mom. But, uh, yeah so we were going through the options on this oxygen sensor.

blue please tell me i'm not the only one that thinks the story in totk is severely lacking if not outright bad 😭 or at least tell me what i'm missing that's making everyone sing its praises cuz i sincerely feel cucco bananas rn
ok i’m nowhere near finished with the game yet but from what i’ve played so far, totk is a much more classic zelda-like experience, which makes sense given that that was many zelda fans’ main critique about botw. botw’s story was a lot more. overt i guess? than most games in the franchise, and it kicked in almost immediately. in other zelda games it’s very common for the story to unfold gradually as the player goes along, making you sort of discover it as you do the more meat-and-potatoes dungeon gameplay. this is what i’m seeing from totk so far, so if you’re a botw fan and haven’t played some of the older stuff it may be a bit jarring, but since i’m not far enough into the game yet i’m not gonna pass judgement.

i think i’ve said this before but its really funny how analogue horror became this huge new beginner-media-creation accessible horror trend because outta any fucking subgenre of horror it takes arguably some of the MOST trialsome artistic standards to get “right”. the amount of energy that goes into setting up an immersively “real”-feeling mixed media faux nonfiction broadcast type thingy dealy PROPERLY is like, wow no wonder the genre cliche is “psas over a monochrome background with the occasional still image of a face or diagram drawn by a child” lmfao
