Habits I picked up because of school that I keep up with (on my semester break)

Waking up early- I find that, with few exceptions, I wake up before 8:30am every day.

Study groups- okay I’m stretching the definition here, but I have productivity days at coffee shops with my friends, where I work on job applications, blog posts (hehe I’m writing this one from the coffee shop), or work on hobbies (mostly crochet and embroidery).

Notion schedules-I used to keep weekly and daily schedules on notion to track schoolwork, but I now use them to track my work schedule and hangout dates with my friends

Always keeping lists/notebooks around- I am rarely without a notebook in arms reach. I have a notebook in my bag and by my bedside. I keep sticky notes in my apron at work so I can write things down and add them to my notebooks. I used them as a type of bullet journal but with none of the structure.

I still study- I just now have full control on what I study. For example, I plan on teaching myself the Dewey decimal system soon. (And picking up some asl)

Digital art- what started as doodling in the margins of my digital notebooks has become a full-blown hobby of mine.

Visiting the library- honestly, I just find the library to be a very comforting place.

Writing book reviews- while my book reviews for my blog posts are far less structured and formal, they only exist because I got used to writing them for school.

Reading nonfiction- I found through online classes that I enjoy reading textbooks and nonfiction work.

Listening to audio books- I started listening to audio books back when was both full time student and working full time because I had no time to sit down with a book. Now its my preferred way to read.

Picking up hobbies- I am always looking for my next hobby to pick up. Last year I picked up painting and crafting. I also tried out wax seals and gardening (shout out to the two plants I haven’t killed yet).

ok @ ppl who are shidding their pants at all the ai garbage in google image searches, well first of all use duck duck go for most things anyway BUT their image indexing is kinda mid so if you have to use google, just slap 'before:2020' (or any other previous year) after your search. no ai images, nilch. no half working adblock datalist just one parameter. I did a quick test to see if it can also help me find old school digital art and dude... the fuckign difference

Happy 2nd birthday to The Tipping Point! It was released on February 25th, 1985 and shares a birthday with Songs From The Big Chair. This album was the first in 17 years to be made by the duo. The album cover was created by painter Cinta Vidal.

The Tipping Point album reached #8 US Billboard 200, #2 in the UK, and #1 in Scotland. Their single, which shares the same name as the album, was a commercial success in the UK.

Part 1 of The Tipping Point tour began in May of 2022 and lasted until July, where it abruptly ended due to Curt Smith's rib injury. Part 2 began in July of 2023 and concluded without interruption in August of the same year.

When given animal features through your magical method of choice - whether it's a spell, a potion, what have you - Kirby becomes a sand cat. Sand cats are solitary creatures that live in hostile, remote environments and staunchly avoid other animals; so they fit Kirby's personality perfectly. Also, sand cats share Kirby's default facial expressions.

I don't think it's a surprise to anyone when I say that Satan would be utterly overcome with excitement at the idea of Kirby with cat features. He's going to have a mild emotional episode the first time he sees them with big pointy ears and a fluffy, twitchy tail. It would take every ounce of self-control he has in his entire body for Satan to stop himself from (lovingly) mauling his human to bits with aggressive, maladoit affection.

Luckily for Satan, he's one of the only people that Kirby would actually put up with in this state. The 4th Born means well, so Kirby is just going to just sit there and let the poor demon get it out of his system; quietly enduring all the head pats, ear scritches, cheek rubs, playful biting, clumsy headbutts...

They don't mind, as long as it's Satan. And besides, he lets them bite and scratch him in return 👀
