Collector Hierarchy

So based on absolutely nothing I created a ranking system for Collector's species, which I've dubbed 'Celestials' for the sake of differentiation.

This hierarchy system will be canon in my TOH Fanfiction thingy based on that art I made of me and my friend as a Collector and Titan. Stay tuned to see more of that.

Fast Sketch with Archives.

Warning: Headcanon

Small Archives - archives created by the Collector (Kollen(?)) on the Boiling Isles.

Medium Archives - archives that were created a long, long time ago are in space, and there are several of them (different in appearance), in different parts of certain Galaxies, which are allocated to Collectors for study.

There are also "Great Archives", they contain the most collected information for the entire existence of the universe, allocated for study by Galaxy Collectors. Information is cleaned from time to time.

There are also so-called "Universal Archives" in which all possible information from all ends of the Galaxies has already been collected, they also have so-called "points" in the universe that help to quickly get to these Archives (Time in space is quite difficult to calculate, from one end, to the other end of the galaxy can take a couple of thousand light years, therefore, something had to be thought of, because from one end of the universe to the center, it will take much longer) In those worldwide Archives, different Archivists can meet with each other (I remind you, by profession!) and, so to speak, can exchange various information.

The Grimwalker Children’s Rhyme

(Headcanons + a handclapping song for fan works)

Thinking of the Boiling Isles and how Grimwalkers are clearly semi-common knowledge. Except, they seem to be more old legends or folk tales. Then, my baby cousin wanted to play ring around the rosie and ‘london bridge’. They both are dark if you look at the historical context, but without it they just sound like nonsensical silliness.

So, I decided to write my own version of what I think a Grimwalker children’s rhyme/song would look like. Specifically as a hand-clapping game or a jumpeope/hopscotch game. Feel free to use it in any works of your own. Just be sure to credit me — My username on every other site is Icey5105

I’m picturing this as the kids don’t know what a Grimwalker is and no one actually knows the whole process to make a Grimwalker anymore. As for the history, I’m following a head canon I’ve seen before that Grimwalkers used to be primarily to give grieving mothers a way to still have their dead or stillborn babies. Possibly even without the understanding that this isn’t their actual child that’s been revived, but a clone. It used to be a much more common practice before Palistrom started becoming harder to find or maybe they realized that Grimwalkers weren’t actually the same people anymore so they got a bad rep. There were likely some discrimination/judgment over them, because they aren’t witches and if the lack of magic isn’t just a Hunter thing… yeah. They would not be treated fairly.

Anyway, here we are! The Grimwalker Children’s Rhyme:

Grimwalker, Grimwalker,

One two three.

My baby is lost to me.

Grimwalker, Grimwalker,

Four, five, six,

Toss him in with palistrom sticks.

toh spoilers kinda rambling

ok so FINALLY watched the finale bc when i tried to watch it, i couldn't access the owl club.

i literally dont have much words rn-- like i literally almost cried when luz was perishing then became fucking lantern blobs and floated around like she owned the land. at that moment, i was scared that she would like, actually die. i mean like-- for the most part, i figured she wouldn't die but at that moment, i was becoming emotional at that moment

it's nice that there's a happy ending, and that king got to see his dad for a bit. i also wasn't surprised that belos was gonna die in the end of the way. it was interesting how they went with how he was going to die, though. i find so interesting that, the longer belos tried to manipulate her, he more he peeled. as he was manipulating her, he just revealed more of himself, while getting destroyed in the process. his rottenness in the inside just affected him so much that it affected him on the outside, to the point he became nothing.

slightly shocked there wasn't much of collector in the end-- especially when there was a time skip. i had a thought "what if he physically grows up, as a way to show his mental growth?" (it was just a question, i had lots of doubt about that thought), though their lack of presence is just a reminder that we all can heal ourselves differently. luz and collector contrast from each other quite nicely. luz gets help to heal and grow with supportive people that surrounds her, while with collector—sure there is people who show their support to him—though he isolates himself. and you can tell this is helping them heal and grow, as he realizes more how harmful their powers can be and intentionally keeps it minimum to not for harm anyone at the end.

other than that, i was desperately hoping that gus would finally get a new hairstyle and YES. they delivered and he looks fucking good.

ok i’ve seen people talk about toh having a complimentary book, something like the Enchiridion for Adventure Time, Marcy’s Journal for Amphibia, The Spell Book for Star vs, something to sell alongside the series that has lore and plot beats for the fans.

And Honestly, would be cool if we got a replica of philip’s journal as that book.

Would it be full of lies? oh yeah.

But it could contain lots of great lore, about the collectors, the titans, magic, how he found the grimwalker spell, anything philip found on the isles, we may be able to pick out a lot of fact and truth from his lies within the book and get so much great worldbuilding.

and on top of that, you could always do something fun, like say the book is a reconstruction eda or luz made of the old journal, and they have added their own notes to his pages, which could also make it more fun.
