“Buck, Bothered, And Bewildered” is a dreamscape musical (written by Andrew Meyers and a “Tom Swift” writer - a show so progressive that it lasted only one season on The CW) that leads in to “You Don’t Know Me” (written by Lyndsey Beaulieu and Taylor Wong and directed by Brenna Malloy) which will involve Natalia one way or the other.
Tumblr media
I'm not saying that necessarily means any thing in terms of Buddie/Dickley, but Tommy Kinard is back in the beginning of the season, my variations of Thomas, Mitchell, and/or Charles being in pivotal Buck and Eddie episodes theory hasn't been wrong yet, the show is moving to the network that likes to be cavalier with characters' sexualities, and Tim is back at the helm, and I'm already seeing dueling belt grabs when we've only previously seen singular belt grabs from them, which is why it'd be funny, and smart/telling, if they use the following cover in the prior episode as it's from the movie that cites said theory about when men grab their belts (that they do this when they're thinking about sex).
youtube
... And there's a week in between these episodes with out an episode? Why the need to build excitement and anticipation?👀 ...

Hello fans of Re: Dracula who were introduced to fiction podcasts through the updates from our good friend Jonathan Harker! Now that the story's over (sob!), would you like some recommendations for some other audio dramas that you might enjoy, made by some of the folks who worked on the podcast?
Jonathan Sims, who played our local phonograph enthusiast, is the writer of the hugely popular horror podcast, The Magnus Archives. The Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute records statements made by members of the public, detailing strange encounters with the supernatural. What soon becomes clear is that these statements do not describe separate and unrelated events, and a bigger and horrific picture begins to emerge. Also appearing as recurring characters in this series are both Sasha Sienna and Alasdair Stuart.
Karim Kronfli is a prolific voice actor, and while he might be best known for his roles in both Re: Dracula and The Magnus Archives, he has voiced a wide range of characters in many different fiction podcasts. Out of all the ones he's appeared in, I would personally recommend urban fantasy anthology series, Unseen. The unseen world exists alongside ours, but only a few humans can see it. It's a world where magic and magical creatures exists, and Karim's character tells his story in episode 7, titled We Ourselves.
Beth Eyre and Felix Trench played twins Antigone and Rudyard Funn in Wooden Overcoats, a British sitcom set on the tiny fictional island of Piffling, in the English Channel. The twins run a funeral parlor together, the only one on the island, until a newcomer arrives. Eric Chapman (played by Tom Crowley) sets up a much more successful funeral parlor, and the story is narrated by the Funns' house mouse, Madeline.
Alan Burgon plays the Interviewer in The Amelia Project. The Amelia Project is a secret organisation, and clients come to them looking for their help in faking their deaths. The Interviewer listens to each client's story, before concocting unique and often elaborate ways in which they will stage their deaths, before being reborn into a new identity.
David Ault is also a very recognisable voice to anyone who spends a considerate amount of time listening to fiction podcasts, and The Kingmaker Histories feels like an appropriate choice here. A weird steampunk series set in the Valorian Socialist Republic in 1911 , this story involves found family, its own intriguing magic system, and being gay and doing crime.
Our favourite cowboy, Giancarlo Herrera, plays one of the protagonists in sci-fi action/thriller, Primordial Deep. Spinner is part of a team which is sent deep beneath the sea to investigate the resurgence of creatures thought to be long-extinct. There's plenty of horror to be had here, as something ancient is stirring in the depths of the ocean.
As for the crew? Tal Minear works on so many podcasts, and if you like fantasy stories, I would recommend the delightfully lighthearted Sidequesting, which follows new adventurer Rion, as they help people on their travels. If you would like some more horror, there's their spoiler-driven anthology series, Someone Dies in This Elevator.
Hannah Wright's Inn Between is a fantasy series based on D&D. Each episode follows a party as they meet in the Goblin's Inn, in between adventures, as the tavern follows them around wherever they go.
Stephen Indrisano's upcoming docu-horror Shelterwood promises to be a series which explores the horror of suburbia, as it follows one man's quest to find his missing sister. Until this is released, I would recommend Do You Copy, in which Stephen plays one of the protagonists. This found footage horror series follows the events which unfold after the closure of Red Tail National Park, and the people who were left inside the park, after its mysterious closure.
Ella Watts is regarded as a walking encyclopedia of all things audio fiction, and has worked on several high-profile projects, including directing both Doctor Who: Redacted and Marvel Move. Her upcoming Camlann is a post-apocalyptic series due to be released next year, inspired by Arthurian legends and British folklore. She is also the executive producer of Tin Can Audio's (who are also producing Camlann) beautiful experimental series, The Tower. The protagonist of this story, Kiri, leaves her life behind to climb an impossibly high tower, making phonecalls along the way.
Newt Schottelkotte's Where The Stars Fell is a supernatural fantasy set in the town of Jerusalem, Oregon. Cryptozoologist Dr Edison Tucker arrives in the town to carry out some research, and meets her roommate, author Lucille Kensington. There's so much more to this strange town than first meets the eye, with a huge revelation at the end of season one.
If you're new to fiction podcasts, welcome! I hope this short (ish!) and very much non-comprehensive list gave you some ideas of what to listen to next!

so like… are you actually anti-buddie completely?
Tbh nonnie I'm.... on the verge of it. Mostly due to the behaviour of the fandom, specifically the side that insist buddie is happening no matter what canon or the writers or the actors have to say about it.
I still love buddie as a platonic dynamic in canon. I think their relationship is so important. I think the buckley-diaz family unit is SO important, and I will always love seeing more of it.
But with the rapid rise in toxicity in this fandom I just cannot bring myself to enjoy buddie as a romantic ship right now. Maybe that'll change again over the hiatus, I'm not sure.
I'm not normally one to take the word of a writer as gospel, I've been in fandom spaces for so long that shipping fanon couples is second nature to me. But hearing what Ryan, Oliver, Lou and Tim have been saying about this storyline, and about the storylines of the respective characters and their journeys... it's obvious, to me at least, that buddie is not going to happen in canon.
I'm not going to go out of my way to shoot down buddie, I'm not about to become a buddie hate blog or anything. I'm just tired of seeing the same baseless arguments and irritating sentiments being passed around. I'm tired of hearing about Oliver and Lou getting hate mail, I'm tired of hearing about Tom Minear getting death threats, I'm tired of people ignoring what Ryan has said about playing this storyline, how it's so close to his heart because he's basing his acting choices on his real life relationship with a queer friend.
I just wish that certain people in this fandom would relax, take a breather, and remember that all of this is supposed to be fun. And it's just not fun for me anymore. So I'm stepping back.

same anon as before, lou's interviews are delightful and i love how he's got headcanons for tommy already (king shit) but i feel like unfortunately minear and co (or 911's press team or whoever) are gonna lock him in pr jail for this one bc of the sheer implications of what he revealed lol
LMAOOOOO TRULY. although who knows, abc has been letting ryan run wild talking about reading buddie fanfiction so maybe now that they're over in the mouse's house they're like you know what ... go for it. they're probably too busy physically restraining tom holland from spoiling whatever mcu movie he's in next to worry about 911. at least i hope so. i also loved his headcanons for tommy!!! i feel like they lined up with what the vibe a lot of the fandom had already gotten but to be like "yeah so i have his entire life mapped out in my mind" is so wild and great for a character that was only in three flashback episodes prior to this season

Remember one very important thing, the actors are under a contract so they cannot reveal anything about what is going to happen in the series because that contract forbids it, so I don't worry about Marisol, it's going to last several episodes because I doubt they might be interested in adding another secondary character to the long list that already exists: Karen, Denny, Ravi, Josh, Sue…
Tom Minear said one thing and it's that we are going to have a lot of Buddie this season, I just hope that the romantic partner they are looking for so much is themselves.

2018 was, by all measures, a huge year for TV producer Ryan Murphy. Creatively, he reached some of his peaks, with American Crime Story‘s season on the death of Gianni Versace producing some of the best, most affecting work of his TV career; with Pose breaking all kinds of ground for trans representation on TV, and with a most unlikely hit in 9-1-1 on FOX. But it was behind the scenes where Murphy made his biggest headlines. In February, Murphy inked a five-year deal with Netflix that was reportedly worth upwards of $300 million, the priciest deal in TV history. The deal enhanced Netflix’s reputation — with Murphy and Shonda Rhimes in their stable, Netflix has essentially locked up the two most influential TV creators of the current era — while also setting Murphy’s reputation at the very top of the mountain.
Murphy’s Netflix era hasn’t begun to bear fruit yet — though he’s announced projects The Politician (starring Brad Pitt and co-created with his Glee cohorts Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan) and Ratched (a villain-centric remake of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest) — but what we did get were three Murphy-produced seasons on FX last year that, when seen as a whole, served as a perfect swan song to the years he’s spent with the network, starting with Nip/Tuck premiered in 2003. Starting with The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, continuing with Pose over the summer, and concluding with the 8th season of American Horror Story, subtitled “Apocalypse,” this trio of shows might have been the perfect way for Murphy to go out with a bang.
With The Assassination of Gianni Versace, Murphy may well have reached his creative peak. This limited series had almost everything Murphy’s work has been circling around all this time: an obsession with fame and glamour, stomach-turning violence, and a surprising resonance about the role that anti-gay prejudice plays (and played) in America. With a structure (so often Murphy’s bugaboo) provided by screenwriter Tom Rob Smith, Versace was able to move back in time from Andrew Cunanan killing Versace through a parallel examination of their lives and how a society steeped in institutional homophobia set them both on a collision course towards each other.
Versace alone could have been Murphy’s mic-drop at FX, leaving on the highest of high notes (Versace went on to win Emmy and Golden Globe Awards). But in June came one of his most daring shows to date. Pose looked back to the lives and experiences of the queer — and mostly queer people of color — community in New York City in the mid-’80s, and in particular the house balls that influenced everybody from RuPaul to Madonna. In producing the series, and using his clout to make sure that the cast would include queer and trans performers, Murphy used his fame and fortune in order to better his community and the greater LGBTQ+ community. And in co-producing the series with creator Steven Canals, Murphy put some power into the hands of a talent who needed a boost, putting the reins of this newly buzzy show in the hands of the man who pitched it to him in the first place.
But that sense of completion for Ryan Murphy wasn’t truly present until American Horror Story aired its 8th season and, in a surprise twist, it turned into a continuation of season 3’s wildly popular “Coven” storyline. Even better, Murphy wrote in an episode-long revisiting of season 1’s “Murder House” (complete with Jessica Lange reprising her Emmy-winning role as Constance Langdon). Apocalypse was a wild and crazy gift to the fans who were there for Murder House and Coven, back when American Horror Story was a daring cable-TV experiment, not a television institution. Not only did the season have a reunion vibe, but the greater storyline was about the actual end of the world. There were themes on themes, just waiting for Murphy to announce that he was stepping away from his FX projects.
Except … he didn’t. Because he’s not. Not yet, anyway. The Netflix series are beginning production, but we’re also in for at least two more American Horror Story seasons, and Pose is gearing up for their second season as well. And thus far, Ryan Murphy has shown no interest in leaving either show (nor the currently-dormant-but-could-revive-at-any-time American Crime Story and Feud series). Does this mean Murphy is setting himself up to be spread incredibly thin between two platforms and at least five shows? Or is he just the most productive television professional working today? It’s important to note that Murphy has never worked alone. He partnered with Falchuk and Brennan on Glee, with Falchuk and Tim Minear on American Horror Story, with Falchuk and Canals on Pose, and with Minear again on 9-1-1. American Crime Story has been a co-production with Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, with each season featuring its own head writers (Tom Rob Smith on Versace; Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski on O.J. Simpson). If any TV empire is situated to stay standing after its top dog walks away, it’s Murphy’s.
Either way, the future for Ryan Murphy is Netflix, not FX. And if you’re looking for a year that put a fitting capper on his FX past, it was 2018.

Upfronts 2019 (FOX): Nuevas series, renovaciones y cancelaciones
Tumblr media
Con Yara Martinez (Jane the Virgin, True Detective), Brian Van Holt (Cougar Town, The Bridge), Siena Goines (Andi Mack, Jericho), Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow, The Killing), Shane Paul McGhie (Sacred Lies, After) y Mark Moses (Desperate Housewives, Mad Men). Escrita y producida por Will Beall (Aquaman, Training Day). El piloto fue dirigido por David Ayer (Training Day).

Prodigal Son

Completan el reparto Lou Diamond Phillips (Longmire), Halston Sage (The Orville, Crisis), Aurora Perrineau (Chasing Life, Into the Dark), Frank Harts (Billions, The Leftovers) y Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls, 13 Reasons Why). Escrita y producida por Chris Fedak (Chuck, Legends of Tomorrow) y Sam Sklaver (Blunt Talk, Deception). Lee Toland Krieger (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) dirigió el piloto. Producida por Greg Berlanti (Arrow, You).

NeXt (MIDSEASON)
Tumblr media
Un pionero de Silicon Valley (John Slattery; Mad Men, Desperate Housewives) descubre que una de sus creaciones, una inteligencia artificial muy poderosa, podría causar una catástrofe global, y se alía con una agente de crímenes cibernéticos (Fernanda Andrade; Here and Now, The First) para luchar contra un villano que no se parece a nada que hayan visto antes. Participan también Michael Mosley (Ozark, Seven Seconds), Jason Butler Harner (Ozark, Ray Donovan), Eve Harlow (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Heroes Reborn), Aaron Moten (Disjointed, Mozart in the Jungle), Gerardo Celasco (How to Get Away with Murder, The Haves and the Have Nots), Elizabeth Cappuccino (Jessica Jones) y Evan Whitten (Mr. Robot, The Resident). Les acompañan Mustafa Elzein (Sequestered), Mo McRae (Empire, Sons of Anarchy) y Victoria Cartagena (Manifest, You).

Escrita y producida por Lon Zimmet (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, I'm Sorry). Jonathan Judge (School of Rock, Life in Pieces) dirige el piloto.

Escrita, dirigida y producida por Tate Taylor (The Help, The Girl on the Train), cuenta también con Aubrey Dollar (Battle Creek, Dawson's Creek), Corey Cott (The Good Fight, Z: The Beginning of Everything), Benjamin Levy Aguilar, Mark L. Young (The Comeback, The Inbetweeners), Melia Kreiling (Tyrant, Salvation), Steve Harris (The Practice, Awake), David Denman (The Office, Outcast) y Olivia Macklin (The Young Pope, LA to Vegas). Producida por Cattrall, Brian Grazer (Arrested Development, Friday Night Lights), Francie Calfo (Empire, Genius) y John Norris (The Help).

Duncanville (MIDSEASON)

The Great North (MIDSEASON)
Escrita por Wendy Molyneux (Bob's Burgers, The Megan Mullally Show), Lizzie Molyneux (Bob's Burgers) y Minty Lewis (Regular Show).
Lone Star (MIDSEASON)
What Just Happened??! (VERANO 2019)

Ivermectin Wins in Court Again: For Human Rights

One dose of Ivermectin was all it took to get 81-year-old John Swanson off the ventilator. John’s wife Sandra could not believe it. His story is remarkably similar to other cases of patients who were on their way out with advanced COVID-19 but saved when Ivermectin was added.
Ralph Lorigo is the lawyer who now has won three court orders forcing New York hospitals to administer Ivermectin to dying patients. Incredibly, these three hospitals and their lawyers fought against the patients, arguing they did not have the right to receive the drug despite a valid prescription written by their doctors. In essence, the argument was that they did not have the right to try a potentially life-saving medication.
In each of the three cases, the New York State Supreme Court Justices sided with the patient, and in each of the three cases, the patients made near-miraculous recoveries after the Ivermectin was given. In each case, these patients were in the Intensive Care Unit on ventilators, unable to breathe on their own, and universally, after the drug was given, they rapidly improved and were able to breathe on their own.
Judith Smentkiewicz made national news in January when her family hired Lorigo after the hospital refused a fourth dose of Ivermectin. Smentkiewicz's son and daughter called Ivermectin a "miracle drug" in court papers. Attorney Lorigo and his associate Jon F. Minear reported, “This lady was on a ventilator, literally on her deathbed, before she was given this drug. As far as we’re concerned, the judge’s order saved this woman’s life.”
The family of Glenna "Sue" Dickinson happened to see a newspaper article of Judith's remarkable story, and they decided to try Ivermectin as well.
Sue Dickinson, 65, contracted COVID-19 on January 7, 2021. She suffered progressive worsening and was admitted to Rochester General Hospital on January 12. She continued to worsen and was placed on a ventilator on January 17. The hospital staff advised that her chances of survival were about 40 percent.
With nothing to lose, Natalie Kingdollar, Dickinson’s daughter, reached out to their family doctor, Tom Madejski, who wrote the prescription. The hospital refused to give Sue the Ivermectin. The legal team of Lorigo and Minear drafted an affidavit from Dr. Madejski and sought an injunction. State Supreme Court Justice Frank Caruso ordered the hospital to provide the Ivermectin.
Dickinson, like Swanson, and Smentkiewicz, came off the ventilator and improved as well. The family reported on Facebook that, "She’s making progress each day, and it’s Ivermectin and God making this happen.” She has since been released from the hospital.
Ivermectin is widely used by physicians, as there are now 51 studies from around the world, with 50 showing clear benefit and one showing neutral. However, the lone study showing a neutral effect was roundly criticized as flawed in an open letter signed by a group of 120 physicians.
Experts worldwide have called for the global and systematic use of Ivermectin to prevent and treat COVID-19. Physicians have recently written about a profit motive by regulatory agencies and Big Pharma to block cheap, safe, and effective treatments like Ivermectin and HCQ in favor of experimental and perhaps more dangerous and arguably less effective vaccines and medicines like Remdesivir. With *Remdesivir costing $3,100 per dose* and not reducing deaths, the choice of Ivermectin is a no-brainer say many doctors.
*Ivermectin costs about $2 per dose*. It is safer than Tylenol or most vitamins, says Dr. Pierre Kory of the FLCCC Alliance, a group of expert physicians promoting access and information through a nonprofit organization. Dr. Kory and Mr. Lorigo have teamed up to help other hospitalized patients gain access to the life-saving drug.
Dr. Fred Wagshul, a Yale-educated physician, is a pulmonary specialist and directs the Lung Center of America. He is also a founding member of the FLCCC Alliance. Dr. Wagshul notes that the typical dose for hospitalized patients is 0.3 mg of Ivermectin per kg of body weight for four days which works out to nine 3 mg tablets daily for four days in a typical 200-pound patient.
Dr. George Fareed, former Harvard professor, advocates combination therapy of Ivermectin with HCQ in outpatient cases. For the benefit of physician readers, the specific doses are provided in this link.
The big problem is that information promoting Ivermectin is often censored or silenced as quickly as it is provided. Facebook, Reddit, Change.org, YouTube, and others have recently taken down posts on Ivermectin citing violation of "community standards."
Physicians who employ good judgment and scientific studies are considered violators, as well as those who publish factual accounts of Ivermectin-based recovery stories. A recent article exposed the link between large pharmaceutical corporations and government regulatory agencies who have financial entanglements and massive conflicts of interest.
The disinformation campaign is evident with the publication of articles attempting to cast Ivermectin in a false light, referring to it as an “animal dewormer” that might be a “bad idea” for humans to use. In reality, many drugs are common to both humans and animals for treatment, including antibiotics, antifungals, and antiparasitic agents.
Ampicillin, a form of penicillin, has been widely used to treat infections in children like whooping cough, salmonella, and meningitis. It has been routinely used to treat adults for bronchitis, pneumonia, and rheumatic heart disease. It is also consistently employed in veterinary applications to treat calves, cattle, dogs, and cats.
You would never see an article attempting to smear Ampicillin as an animal drug and warn people against taking it. However, we see this propaganda daily trying to influence the general public against Ivermectin, a life-saving drug that has been prescribed safely and in billions of doses over the past 40 years for parasitic disease.
Dr. Satoshi Omura won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his discoveries leading to the development of Ivermectin. In his praise for Ivermectin and its potential to help in the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Omura recently compared Ivermectin to Penicillin, “one of the greatest discoveries of the twentieth century.”
Currently, Ivermectin has already been adopted by 25 percent of the world’s countries to prevent and treat COVID-19. Bangladesh, where Ivermectin is broadly used in almost every home, enjoys a 99% lower per capita death rate from COVID-19 than the US. Bangladesh, with 160 million inhabitants, has half the US population. However, it has merely 10,000 COVID-19 deaths. Contrast that with nearly 580,000 US deaths in our country of 327 million.
However, censorship, corruption, hospital lawyers, and disinformation campaigns have continued to stand in the way of its widespread acceptance in the United States. Many have never even heard of it.
Ivermectin recently won in court in South Africa after a protracted legal battle. Ralph Lorigo has now won his third State Supreme Court Injunction in New York. Will legal strategies also be required in the US to gain FDA approval for Ivermectin to treat COVID-19?
Dr. Tess Lawrie has entered this David v. Goliath battle. She is an independent research consultant to the WHO, and her work has consistently been used to underpin International Clinic Practice Guidelines. In other words, she has been one of the go-to scientists on which the WHO bases their recommendations.
She has established a non-profit organization to promote the worldwide approval and adoption of Ivermectin for COVID-19. She is requesting support through this video.
We owe it to ourselves as human beings to support this work. We owe it to future generations who need medical truth, not corruption, to guide our public health policy. We owe it to the principle of basic human rights.
