Top Racer Collection - Remaster do SNES para a era atual

Na década de 1990, a Kemco, em parceria com a Gremlin Graphics, lançou em 1992 ao SNES um game de corridas chamado Top Gear, conhecido como Top Racer no Japão. Em Top Racer, ou melhor, Top Gear, jogadores correm em 8 países, tendo que chegar entre os cinco melhores para prosseguir para as próximas etapas. Jogadores podem usar nitro, mas o uso é limitado para três. Top Gear teve mais reconhecimento no Brasil do que em outros países, com destaque para covers da trilha sonora e o game Horizon Chase, que é uma espécie de sucessor espiritual de Top Gear, teve a participação de Barry Leitch como compositor, uma vez que ele tinha sido compositor de Top Gear. Boa parte do sucesso de Top Gear no Brasil se deve ao piloto brasileiro Ayrton Senna, tricampeão mundial da Fórmula 1...

Top Gear agora está de volta, só que desta vez como Top Racer Collection... Top Gear 2 e Top Gear 3000 agora são Top Racer 2 e Top Racer 3000, respectivamente. No segundo game, foram implementadas novas mecânicas, como por exemplo, a melhoria do carro e sistema climático, e no terceiro game, as corridas passaram a ser ambientadas em planetas em vez de países, em um aspecto de corrida futurística. Além disso, Top Racer Collection terá conteúdos inéditos e exclusivos. Top Racer Collection está estimado para lançamento oficial em 07 de março de 2024.
