Our mental health has been in such an interestingly terrible place for the last month or so. Genuinely kind of fascinating to watch from different internal angles....like watching the ocean ebb and flow and change temperament at random sometimes based on weather or the moon or something. Like this shit is just terrible

#I can't even describe it #Like it isn't even just the basic stuff I've dealt with my whole life right #I've had some of this for well over a decade now right I've been very unwell for a long time #I'm a system so that tells you a lot already #Speaking of which that's been extremely hard on us lately too. Rapid switching and blending and worsening dissociative episodes #It makes it extremely....hard. I don't know how to put this for people reading this who don't just intuitively know what I'm talking about #Let me try though #Stress worsens the symptoms right. And we've been under a Lot of stress. When you have a system who not only experiences different levels #of emotion but also different emotional responses to certain things and then also expresses symptoms of your multiple mental illnesses to #different degrees and then on top of that your sense of time/cognition becomes nonlinear because you're blurry as hell in and out all the #time it becomes markedly more difficult to try and balance out/manage your other shit. Like I cannot even describe #It's like trying to climb a slippery incline #I feel truly. Crazy. Like a complete unstable fragmented freak lately it is So bad. And I feel like I'm becoming Worse /As A Person/ too #Like I just feel like I'm becoming so jaded and fucked up mentally our internal state right now is frankly very bad. If you think I've been #negative and difficult on this blog lately hoo boy is my posting on here not even scratching the surface #We're trying to do some things about stuff we can fix/control in our external surroundings but like #[Edit: in addition I have never been properly medicated or gotten help for Any of this since I was 14-15 and they weren't even helping us #for the right things.]

ultra moon has been exceedingly kind to me in the shiny odds department over the years because it is trying to apologize to me for being the origin of what went on to warp my mind and soul forever

#context i picked it up to do some soft resetting while i tried to get to sleep bc i just kinda had the urge #and it's a mindless thing that has helped me fall asleep before #cue like. maybe 15 minutes in tops. under 20 resets. shiny mewtwo #and even with the absolute lowest odds you can get in this game that is Fucking Absurd #and this is the same game i had a like. 4 reset shiny palkia in #i think every single reset hunt i've done has flown WAY under odds #which is kind of funny considering my brother has gone over double odds with the same base odds before. Erm #anyways thank you ultra moon very cool #i actually want to hunt gen 4 rayquaza but i have to do some work so i can actually meet the conditions for it to show up #i wanted to start gen 4 mewtwo tonight but i did not bc UM was already in my 3ds #and i simply Did not feel like getting up to find heartgold. oh well #i have been itching for the masochism of older gen full odds for a while and just haven't gotten around to it #actually editing tags to add this bc it makes it funnier somehow #but my egg hunts in the original moon. not ultra moon. which have better odds than the resets. have historically been terrible #and way over odds #but for some godforsaken reason ultra moon reset hunts have always been like. blink and you might miss it

when i see people with the same ugw as me but theyre taller i feel so bad about myself

#idk i just. a bmi of under 15 is considered where its far more dangerous #and im already very unhealthy so im just not sure i wanna go below that. i guess 5 more pounds would be that big a deal #ugh. my ugw was less than that before when i was younger bc i was shorter. ive been doing this so long ack #i used to wanna be 70 but i was shorter then and alwo didnt understand the danger as much and also didnt care as much #but at this moment i dont wanna die and u less i suddenly lose all my free time to do what i 3njoy i dont think thats gonna change #ugh. 80 wouldnt be that bad would it. ill see how i look once im 85 and then ill put effort into gaining muscle wnd losing fat before i #go qnd lower my ugw. previously when i weighed 105 my ugw was 90 #part of me wants to lower it way more into the dangerous zone bc i know im never gonna look like a lot of the insanly thin ppl in thinspo #unless im very dangerously underweight but also.i will be so tired if i do that. and ill be too tired to do my favorite thing. and as much #as being skinny is important to its not the most important thing. simply being skinny usnt gonna make me happy and fix my problems #i wont be able to just look in the mirror and feel ok. but my fav thing does do that. and its always my top priority to keep that available

Valantinez does not sleep much if at all as I mentioned. Part of it is because of whatever the hell they did to modify their body that’s fucking with their circadian rhythm and also because of Ascaris’ worms

#you know how sleep deprivation makes you kinda Mean? yeah #they’re already hostile in nature due to The Events #but the constant tiredness is also keying them wayyy the fuck up #you know how that thing happens where youre dozing off and you feel like you’re falling and you jolt awake? yeah #this happens frequently #they end up either working the entire 24 hours or huddling down in bed and just laying under a blanket until sunrise #whenever they meet J’ihwu and they start hanging around each other for the first time he does in fact notice that The Human Is Not Sleeping #so one day he just. plops down on top of them one night and somehow it helps?#like they actually manage to fall asleep for at least three hours instead of 15 minutes at most #and they still feel like Shit but nowhere near as bad as before #and they don’t really ask him to do it. too prideful. J’ihwu is just doing this of his own volition #their snappiness tones down a fair bit too as a result #oc stuff

woh. finally got a good chunk of the way into ponniyin selvan and maybe it's just my translation but theres a little explanation section at the end of every chapter to help with some tamil words....but fr they explain maybe 1 out of every 5 bits that would be ILLEGIBLE to anyone who doesnt have a good handle on specifically south indian hindu myth and tamil nadu history. im doing ok language wise 👍🏾 like its been a few years since i was really in that world but if im struggling idk how non brown ppl would manage. even little things, poetics, word games....kuruvaikoothu scene was interesting though

#there was a line like 'wow youre a chanakya among men' and i was like???? ur just not gonna translate that?????#15 yrs of bharathnatyam were all training for reading this book fr. im literally only relying on what i learned in dance #this is not my actual family's bag #and the language/spelling is an issue theres a looooong passage in the koothu where i didnt know what god they were talking abt #cause i had never heard the name before. and then they mention the name of a slain demon thats similar to one i knew and i was like #OH. oh its him. okay. cool. but it took work #most of the language stuff im ok with though. a lot of the words are old enough that i can muddle thru with sanskrit roots #this is so crazy i cant believe going to a dance school that was so traditional my parents thought she was crazy is finally paying off #i remember going to kalakshetra and being like. yo this is wild why are we learning the same thing in the same way countries apart #i mean those dancers were better of course this was like. their whole life. but curriculum and vibe was exactly the same #like we had to show up hair braided formal dupatta and all. halfways thru she finally started letting us wear leggings under #a salwaar kameez top instead of the cotton pants they come with #learned nattuvangam too. and she didnt let us perform until we had a solid grasp on different talams #like when i got older half of class was sitting and listening to a tape and tapping out what beats fit #but yeah i just wonder if a more international translation exists! this really seems For south indians #but maybe this is why i had barely heard of it until the film came out my parents arent big readers but they should've at least known it #reading: ponniyin selvan

sid is starting to become painfully underrated and i dont like it 😔😓

shhhhh I know, sid and underrated shouldn't even be in the same sentence but it's true fight me

he's getting lower on people's lists of top players and it's stressing me. i mean i know he's not as young as he used to be but my god if he doesn't still give me goosebumps when he plays.

connor is extraordinary, we all know, but the whole "connor mcdavid doing the impossible" thing is corny bro, everything he's done we've seen sid do as well, maybe not recently but you can bet your ass he's been doing tricks for 10+ years and his hockey knowledge has not even started to descend yet, his skill is still there, maybe not flashy flashy, but it comes out when we need him the most

all im saying is put some respect on grandpa sid's name he's greying for christ's sake-
