“What rumors?”

“The ones about me being unhinged.” Shinsou blinked… and then the laughter started. He reminded Izuku of a hyena on laughing gas… or maybe speed. 

“Oh, you’re funny!” Toshi said, his breath and wits coming back to him. “I needed that,” he coughed and took a sip of his drink, grinning.

“What are you talking about?” 

“Zuku, I love you, but your reputation is purely your own.”

“I’ve barely done anything,” Izuku mumbled into his mug.

“What about the time you chased that reporter down? Or that time you got Hawks to help you dive bomb Best Jeanist because he stole your favorite mug? Or that time you punched Endeavor on sight when he walked into the precinct–”

I had this idea a while ago and decided to share it. Here is bakugo seeing shindeku happen for the first time.

Bakugo and shinsou were in the kitchen, each minding their own business, shinsou was getting coffee while he was preparing food.

There was no one else in the kitchen and only a handful in the living room. It was quite just like he prefers.

"Hey toshi!" Of course, deku had to come in and ruin the peace. Bakugo doesn't look towards him since why should he acknowledge him? *he said hi to purple not him*, but then he hears shinsou respond in the softest lovesick tone he has ever heard it's disgusting "hey zuku~"

He peaks at them, deku with his dumb fucking smile is watching the pot brew with purple. fucking wierdoes he thought.

Suddenly the stupid nerd goes on his tippy toes and fucking kisses eye bags. He kissed eye bags. And eye bags fucking kisses back. Bakugo practically fucking jumps in hes place and turns his head away from them. whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuck.

His hands gripping the kitchen table, still like a statue and his back to the two fucks. What the fuck did he just see? He turns around too look at them again.

The nerd is gone and purple is pouring coffee, this time with a stupid smile on his face. He must've been staring too hard at him because he turns to look at him "what?" Purple asks as if what he did was normal. Bakugo stairs at him with the most disgusted, bamboozled face he could muster. "You're fucking gross, have I ever told you that?"

Hunter Izuku that’s immediate besties with Shinso at UA because hey there’s that kid I said looked like a wet cat when I found him outside of a diner! I’m going to go hug him and train him on how to be a hero that can beat all these people up!

No Todoroki is not jealous that Izuku hugs this purple haired home wrecker and praises his quirk too but has yet to fall into Todoroki’s arms and kiss him into unconsciousness. The fact these are very different levels of closeness is irrelevant. Crying just imagining little Toshi roasting Zuku back in the day and then seeing him at UA and they just Spiderman point at each other before Izuku just tackles Hitoshi in a hug.

Shouto has never had anything to be possessive over, his dad made sure that he didn’t really have anything that was “his” for him to get attached to, but he is learning real fucking quick the longer Izuku cuddles up to Hitoshi.

Katsuki who embraces you throughout the night after you abruptly came to his dorm room for warmth. Wrapping his arms tightly around your waist, he acts annoyed as you steal his blankets along as rearrange his whole bed to your liking, but he lets it happen anyway. Then is when you speak for his badly hidden pout—“it’s all for the cuddles, Suki.”

Izuku who loves holding your hand as you walk through the city park with the rest of the class. You two being in your own little world, not caring for the onlookers, just being a couple. Maybe he's a little embarrassed but he sets himself right at your next words—“They can stare all they want, Zuku, I’m proud to be with you.”

Shoto who’s content to coddle you in the common room late at night, even when you're not feeling the best, unable to give him your definite affection. He knows it’s because of whatever situation that is going on in your life and he respects that. But one thing that he for sure knows is definite is that he loves you too—“You know that I love you, Sho?”

Eijiro who encourages you when your down, and praises you to let you know that he cherishes you. With him being the best significant other you could ever have and more, you attempt to encourage back but he’s to good as he spoils you with junk food, drinks, and trashy slushes from the nearby 7/11—“Thank you, Ei, the snacks are great.”

Denki who plays video games with you during the late nights of summer break. The rest of the Bakusquad playing along, but him being seated a little closer than you guys' other friends. Your knees touch in a simple fashion, being the smallest bit and reminder of love, a cute and small detail to show that he’s yours, and your his—“Stop being a sore loser, Denk’s, admit your loss!”

Shoji who cuddles you in bed during the harsh winter nights, using his multitude of arms as a shield against the cold. His arms blanketing you from the rest of the world while you two snooze away, the Disney movie: Beauty And The Beast, being long forgotten in the background as the world seems to pause without you too conscious, and instead, drifting away with love in your slumber—“Goodnight, Ji, I love you.”

Hitoshi who stubbornly wakes up to make microwave popcorn with you past curfew, being support for your night time crunch. Your faint giggles make his heart skip a beat every now and then as you see him with a blanket cloak, specifically the blanket he gifted you. He smiles as your microwave finishes and he can stare at your natural beauty, and think of how much he loves you, and your snack trips—“Toshi! Try my limited edition, cat-butter popcorn!”

Idk I just thought of this and couldn't stop thinking of it. I will use these for the ♡ShinMonoMidoMei AU♡ (I will just be calling it that bc I have no idea what to call it,) ,Like quirkless Izuku will be a constant, and Izuku's hero name will be- The Null Hero: Ningyōtsukai, a Twilight Hero. Ningyōtsukai is Japanese for the puppeteer, puppet manipulator, or the one who's controlling the play, but the point is that it's the opposite of Deku, which is the puppet, useless.

Hitoshi's would be- The Hypno Hero: Daydream, an Underground Hero. I think Daydream would be a good one bc of the way his quirk works, and the quirk just reminds me of how I don't realize what I'm doing when I'm daydreaming, and feel out of my body yet not, since my focus is on the Daydream itself and not how I appear to others at the moment.

I really like Neito's Hero name in cannon, and I already stated that Mei isn't a Hero, and I just realized I've been rambling sorry-

You know something I've noticed?

MHA fanfic authors making nicknames for characters by removing the first syllable.

Fuyumi -> Yumi, Hitoshi -> Toshi, Izuku -> Zuku, Hizashi -> Zashi, Aizawa -> Zawa

It's an incredibly common trend, and yet I don't think any of these exist in canon. Maybe it's an English language thing that doesn't really happen in Japanese.

This is one of my favourite dadzawas; the love story I can’t even call it an afterthought, it’s an half thought at best, overshadowed by everything else. I’m guessing the author will develop it in the future maybe, but for now it focuses more on everything else, which is fine. I really like how realistic it is and how Izuku’s mental state is described. I also loved the Toshi-Zuku platonic soulmates thing. I think that’s genius and I can’t wait to read more😍🥰

Merbabies Hitoshi and Izuku were told multiple times not to leave the reef. Their parents warned them constantly of the dangers of coming into contact with a human but they were just so curious. The colours of the things their parents called ‘boats’ were pretty, and the pups loved collecting the little things that fell from them to the ocean floor.

It was while they were out collecting some of the shiny things, putting them around their necks and laughing as they pretended to be their mothers, that a huge net, far larger than the ones their pod used to store things, scoops them up.

The two mer pups cling onto one another as they're pulled out of the ocean and flung into giant see-through boxes. They cry in terror at the strange creatures who look at them, poke at the thing holding them and torment them with sharp things that they poke into the water.

It's utterly terrifying.

They don't know how long they cling to one another, as the strange creatures take them somewhere, only that eventually it's not as bright outside and their see-through box thing is moved.

The creatures, humans Hitoshi realises, eventually finish whatever they're doing and much to their detriment decide to drag them out of the water. Hitoshi and Izuku scream, clawing at the humans and desperately trying to get to one another but they're held apart.

Hitoshi sobs as he's put onto a strange, cold thing with no water that makes his skin and tail hurt. It gets harder to breathe and he wants his best friend, wants his mama and papa. And as the humans pull at his scales, tie his arms and tail down to the cold thing he screeches.

He cries in pain and fear until he doesn't have the energy to do so anymore. Everything hurts, it's hard to breathe and only the strange wet material that the humans put over his gills every now and then help. He thinks he can hear Izuku crying but he doesn't see his friend.

After what feels like forever Hitoshi feels the cold thing he's laying on move. Opening his eyes, he's not sure when he closed them, he sees the strange roof of their cave pass them by and realises that they're taking him somewhere.

He starts shaking in fear, whining for his parents and desperately looking around for Izuku to no avail. And then he smells it, the sea. It doesn't smell as fresh as it normally does but he'd know that smell anywhere.

Before he has time to consider it any further the human pushing him stops and suddenly he's tilted upwards. The things holding his arms and tail drop off and Hitoshi finds himself falling. It's a horrible sensation considering you cannot 'fall' when underwater, which is why he cries out and tries to hold onto something with no success. And then he hits the water and he can /breathe/.

Looking around he tries to find something to hide behind but is greeted by only open water. Still, he swims and swims, hopefully outrunning the humans wherever they may be, at least until he hits an invisible barrier. Panicked he throws his hands out and finds something in front of him. This must be one of those see-through things again, only bigger. Oh no.

They've managed to trap the sea as well!

There's another splash and then he hears Izuku's panicked call. Whipping around he searches desperately for his friend, scouring the dark water until he spots a familiar green tail darting around in the distance.

"Zuku!" He calls, swimming towards the other mer as fast as his short tail will allow him.

"Toshi!" Izuku shouts back, coming to meet him halfway. Or he would have, if there wasn't another of those invisible things stopping them from touching.

Both cry out in despair, hands scrabbling at the strange thing as they try to reach one another, only to eventually break down in tears when it becomes clear that they won't be any time soon.

"I wanna go home," Izuku sobs, rubbing his eyes with the hand that isn't trying to hold Hitoshi's.

Hitoshi can only nod in agreement. He'd give anything for one of his mama's hugs or to have his papa show him how to open another clam.

Everything is so scary. His tail hurts so much from where the humans were pulling his scales, and they managed to trap the sea as well! It doesn't make sense, papa always said the sea was the biggest thing ever.

If the humans have managed to catch it...he shudders and presses himself against the barrier, as close to Izuku as he can get.

Something moves in the corner of his eye and Hitoshi gasps.

"Toshi?" Izuku asks, "Toshi, what's wrong?"

"There's something over there," Hitoshi whispers, digging his claws into the thing keeping him from Izuku when a large, dark shadow swims past. Izuku gasps in shock, and then starts beating his little hands against the barrier trying to break it down. "Zuku." He whimpers.

"Go away!" Izuku shouts as the large shadow gets closer. "Leave him alone!"

Hitoshi cannot hold back his tears as the shadow gets closer, his panic starting to overwhelm him and then it just...stops.

For a few moments the pair fall into silence, with only the sounds of Hitoshi's quiet sobs to be heard. The shadow seems to be watching them, waiting, and Hitoshi wants to swim away but he's scared that they might try and follow him.

"What are you doing here?" Izuku and Hitoshi scream in surprise at the sudden, deep voice and the giant hand that mirrors their own. Claws bigger than his Papa's touch /another/ barrier and that's when Hitoshi and Izuku realise that the shadow isn't a shadow at all.

The shadow is a giant mer with the darkest hair and the brightest red eyes. Red eyes that are focused entirely on the two of them.

"A Leviathan mer," Izuku whispers and Hitoshi's heart sinks for the third time since the humans had scooped them up.

Leviathans were known to be the strongest mers, those who protected all of the other mers from bigger monsters.

They were heroes. And the humans had captured one. Hitoshi sniffles, wrapping his arms around himself.

They're never getting out of here, are they?

Single father with a nine month old child, seeking live in nanny services. Negotiable pay. Negotiable time off/vacation days.

Toshinori was impressed with your interview. You had over 8 years of experience working with children between babysitting and working at a day care. Plus Izuku took to you immediately. It was just a bonus that you were easy on the eyes.

You agreed to begin immediately, trying not to let on that you were in desperate need of money and a place to stay. You didn't have much to move in. And, in comparison to the huge room you had been given, it seemed like you owned even less. You figured your new boss must get paid well. His house was huge, the largest you'd ever been in.

Your room was next to baby Izuku's. Settling in to a routine with the baby was easy. You weren't sure exactly what your employer did for a living, his schedule was sporadic, he would be in and out throughout the day. Whenever he was available he would stop by to love on the infant. It was clear that he was doing his best as a single parent, but house keeping wasn't his strong suit. You tried your best to help out with the chores and grocery shopping, after all he was paying you graciously and giving you a roof over your head.

The only bump in the road so far has been getting Toshinori's permission to take the little one on walks through the nearby park. According to the father, errands were one thing but what was the point of going to park? Izuku can't even walk, there wouldn't be any benefit. Eventually you convinced him, after rambling about how good it is for babies to be exposed to different levels of stimulation. You could show Izuku the ducks and dogs, plus he could see all the pretty spring time flowers.

The older man was worried, he feared that his child, and you for that matter, would be targeted by his enemies. Plenty of low life's would love to make a move against the notorious villain. But you wore down his resolve. So long as you would tell him before you went. Thankfully he could play it off as being a bit of a helicopter dad. He always has a spare crony he could send out there to watch over you two.

"What are you both doing," your bosses laugh filled the air.

You were in a very flattering position, palms on the floor stretching through your hips, ass hiked up with a tempting arch to your back. Then you pushed yourself forward, giving the giggling baby raspberries before returning to your original position.

"Baby yoga!" You smiled, oblivious to the growing bulge in the villains pants. "Right now we're doing downward facing dog and cobra."

He watched you cycle through the motions, hypnotized by your movements.

You took such good care of him and his baby. Ever since you got here you went above and beyond (very plus ultra of you). You even packed his meals to go when he had to rush off to a job. And you did it all with a smile and his kid bouncing away at your feet. The man allowed his mind to drift to the thought of you with his babies, Izuku on your hip and your round belly ready to pop.

You made an amazing nanny but you would make an even better housewife.

It wasn't until a week after Izuku's birthday that you learned about your bosses occupation. You were at the park and a stranger approached you to coo over Izuku.

"Such a little cutie, this is Toshi's kid, right?"

That caught you off guard, how did this person know Toshinori? You knew he was a protective dad and there something about this woman felt off.

"Well, either way, this is for you," she smiled as she passed you a manila envelope. "A little birdie wants you to have it."

You skeptically eyed the parcel as the woman disappeared through the park. You shoved it into Izuku's diaper bag before rushing back home.

You decided to peek into the envelope after settling 'Zuku down for the night. You curled onto the chair in his nursery, using his nightlight too sift through the documents. Various photos of Toshinori, your employer, amongst high profile criminals. Photos of the most terrifying villain among his infamous exploits. And finally a piece of paper with a single web address and access code. This was the most damning piece of evidence, All Might - the villain himself - joking amongst his companions before transforming into the man you knew as Izuku's father. Without this video you would have never even guessed. All Might was known for his unassuming nature, his slender frame concealing his god-like strength. Still he looked terrifying, like make children cry type terrifying. Toshinori on the other hand was massive but his sunny attitude made him approachable. For all these months you had been working for a criminal. A criminal with a child. You had been living with him, laughing and raising a baby, taking care of him and his family. Oh god, your late night fantasies of your boss, a total DILF, were fantasies of a sadistic monster.

The betrayal and shame brought you to tears. You should call the cops. Take Izuku far away from this place, from being exposed to his fathers atrocities. But you were torn, he was a good dad, he always put his son first and provided him with only the best. He would tear the world apart for Izuku even if he had to put a target on your back. You shook as you muffled your cries, trying not to wake the baby you cared so much for. Eventually you wrote yourself out, falling asleep in the nursery.

By the time Toshinori made it home it was close to two in the morning. As usual he tip toed into his sons room, shocked to find you curled up in the rocker asleep. He was quiet, surprisingly more so than in his slender form. As you made his way to wake you he was surprised to see your phone still unlocked, you had fallen to sleep with that video on loop. Underneath your phone was the envelope, he didn't need to look to know what was inside. He hadn’t woken either of you, managing to shut off your phone and pick you up with or so much as a peep. He decided rather quickly that he would wait for you to make the first move. At least in the mean time he could pretend you didn't care about his lifestyle and that you wouldn't try to leave him or his son.

"Toshinori," you mumbled as he was about to settle you into your bed. You were half asleep and groggy from crying.

"Go back to sleep, darling, it's late," he paused to sway with you, just like he did when putting down 'Zuku for a nap. He was shocked that it worked and finally escaped your room. You let him lull you back to sleep, further affirming his belief that you would stay.

The next morning you creeped downstairs. Izuku wasn't in his crib, meaning Toshinori was him. You found them both in the kitchen. The sight of the pair would usually warm your body but now shivers radiated down your spine.

"Look who's up, buddy, say good morning," he bounced the child, beaming like the happiest father.

Taking a deep breath you decided to rip off the band aid. "Mr Toshinori, I have to resign."

His pause was so long you wondered if he heard you.

"Did the video upset her that much, Zuzu?"

He looked at you with the same warmth he always did. "There's no need to be formal, you were fine calling me Toshi just the other day. Take a seat, I made pancakes, just like you like'em."

You complied, his unchanged demeanor intimidating you into submission.

"There's no need for you to quit," he started. "Nothing has changed aside from your level of awareness."

"I can't work for you knowing that you hurt people."

At that his smile faltered, "Darling, if you truly felt that way, you wouldn't be here. You would've slipped out early this morning."

You were silent. He was right, in a way. Trapped between what was right and what was best for Izuku. You'd never be able to do anything about your boss's criminal activity, even if you did and All Might was locked away, Izuku would suffer the most.

"Give yourself a few days to adjust, okay? If you still want to quit after that, we can reassess."

There's was a glint in his eyes that hinted he wasn't asking.

"I'll be back this evening," Toshinori told you a as he kissed Izuku's forehead. He was uncomfortably close as he returned the baby to your lap. "There's plenty of groceries so you don't need to go out today. I have a coworker out front, so don’t worry if you see someone outside."

"What are they doing?"

He placed a hand on the top of your hair, petting you like some cat.

"He'll just keep an eye on things. I need someone to make sure you stay put."

A week flew by with your employer pushing off the discussion of your resignation. He wouldn’t leave you unsupervised so just walking away wasn’t an option, besides could you really leave Izuku? 

Then the child came down with some type of bug and was absolutely miserable for several days. You couldn’t get much sleep as a result, even if his father was home for most of the day.

Izuku finally fell asleep around three in the morning. You napped beside his crib out of fear he would wake up if you so much as changed positions.

Then you woke in Toshi's arms as he carried you down the hall.

"Where are we going," You whined, anxious to be away from the child.

"I told you to rest, instead I find you in the nursery."

"'Zuku is sick-"

"But he's asleep, there are baby monitors, not that he won't wake the whole city up with his cries. You've been up for nearly two days with him, time for bed."

But he wasn't taking you to your room. Instead he dropped you on to his bed.

"What are you doing?" You snapped.

"I don't need you sneaking back. I can keep an eye on you here. I'll take care of him if he starts crying." He rolled in next to you.

The bed was huge but so was your boss. "Stop wiggling."

"Well I can't get comfortable."

“Fine,” he said and pulled you into him, “now stop it and get some sleep.”

You burned with embarrassment, turning silent after several attempts at protest. Just as you began to drift off, Toshinori's hand moved to beneath your shorts.
