I hope you're all doing ok. Today has been a busy one for me work wise, but I'm slowly feeling more festive, which is great! And I've been working on my Teslen roommates fic (who knows, I might finish it before 2026!) so all in all, a good few days.

It's that brilliant time of year again where we all feel festive (or have festive feelings foist upon us). Fairy lights, foil decorations, foliage inside the house; it's all there waiting for us.

So, do you like writing fic? Do you like reading fic? Do you like going to various places and saying to other fandom peeps, "Omg I love your work!"*

Then this is the fic exchange for you! Today's post is the sign up post. Under the cut will be a list of questions. All you have to do is send me either a DM or an ask with your completed questionnaire then wait for your match!

Last year was a really good laugh. We all had fun, and there was a lovely bunch of new fics available to read (which is always a good thing in that dead time between Christmas and New Year's).

Okay, that’s fantastic, I love that. But if that’s the case can you stop making women in history trans?

And every time it’s simply because they wore “men’s clothing”. Do y’all not realize how that’s, like, misogynistic and promoting gender roles? Or do you just not care? And do you not care that you’re ignoring the REASON for them wearing male clothing?

And with that, stop making it seem like trans people are the main ones who gave/fought for LGB rights.

Stop “transing” people and events in history and instead talk about trans people who did things for the trans community, trans people who made contributions in history and have accomplished amazing things.

He's a bold spender, 15,000 on a ring, 100,000 for a new, custom designed coat, and whatever other jaw-dropping amounts of credits he can spend on you, he will. It seems to anyone else that Aventurine really loves giving gifts, he showers you in presents more than anyone else- and he's a pretty big spender for anyone.

But, really, his love language is physical touch and quality time. Just having you near, being in your company, it's enough to make his heart skip a beat. Actually being able to touch you, have a hand against your shoulder- or waist- pulling you close enough that you're practically squished against him, whatever annoyingly couple-y stuff he can do, he will do so.
