importantly, Elizabeth made many more friends! she retained Sandy and Robert, and also become close with the neighbour, Alma,'s twin girls Alexandrea and Judith. together with all of the girls, Elizabeth ended up creating a little club for a shared favourite actor. for the end of her childhood, much of her time was spent at the movies, discussing movies with her friends, or making scrapbooks relating to her favourite actor.

Elizabeth's early teens were definitely harder. her mother became increasingly more forgetful. before, she would forget a few things, and often be late to events and her job at the factory. that did increase to some neglect of Elizabeth and the cats, with her frequently out of town to god knows where. at the beginning of this new chapter, money has become a bit tight for Elizabeth and Isabelle.

in neutral news, while Elizabeth has not changed much aside from an increasing interest in the arts, her friends have certainly began to change. the most confusing one is that of Sandy. she's been wearing clothes that Elizabeth thinks are much more befitting of men - perhaps we will see more of how that goes. but for the moment, the five of them are recently teenagers, and ready to experience that which comes with it.

Jason: Dick said that you missed his antics after he moved out and so he’s teaching me how to be a better son

Dick: After this we’re going to drive the Batmobile into the bay :D

This just further fuels the chaotic dynamic of Dick and Jason during a time where Dick was still going through his teenage angst and was absolutely not a benevolent role model LMAO

I mentioned it in this post, but it's just so funny to me to imagine a Jason who grew up with an absolutely WILD Dick Grayson as an older brother, while the younger batkids grew up with a more mellowed out and mature (arguable but when measured against the other kids, he wins by a landslide) Dick Grayson.

Robin!Jason era:

Dick: You wanna go out and get high?

Jason: I can't, I have homework.

Dick, sputtering: HOMEWORK?
